  1. Grand Junction is a Mormon stronghold, so I am surprised the dumb school district would even attempt this. I don’t live there but I doubt if there are very many Muslims living there. Where is the ACLU in all of this? what would happen if they had sung a praise to the Mormon God?

  2. Hm, on the other hand as an atheist I have participated in lots of deeply
religious classical music and just enjoyed it for what it was in its time. I think of course he has every right to opt out, but a most people understand that performers are just representing a piece of music, not praying.

  3. For those who don’t know. I live in Grand Junction, CO. I GO to this school. This kid has always done this type of crap. He does this to get rid of teachers and staff members, because of something he doesn’t like. He wasn’ there when the song was chosen, he DID NOT go to the principal or the choir director, the mens choir is a volunteer choir, and if he didn’t like the piece, he didn’t have to sing it. He was ALOUD to sit out. But no, he had to make a big deal over a small issue. And the song? It was for a movie. Alla is just another name for GOD, so being biased is your own stupidity.
