Yemen has pulled the plug on the local Al Jazeera outlet in Sana’a, in retaliation for what it views as subversive action by the broadcaster involving the anti-government rebels. Coincidentally, the latest reports from hydrologists indicate that the city of Sana’a is running out of water, and that the aquifers supplying it will dry up within about six years.
