  1. This is my view as well. As a secularist, I used to think that Christianity was the enemy. How naive I was then.

  2. Pat Condell is right. If you read, for example, Dawkins, you think (as an atheist): Yeah, right, these are all the arguments against the existence of god. Well done. But why does this conclude in a love letter to the liberal- democratic- feministic world- view?

I, as an atheist, hate islam as Pat Condell, because there ist no freedom in it. It is all about submission (islam is not salam).

Why do I have to bow to feminist worldviews as an atheist? Why do i have to give up caring about nation, children, family – all things that matter – as an atheist?

It is not “atheism” but “marxism” that has infected all these “atheists” who think themselves smart.

I prefer Christians with strong faith to discuss with, even muslims, for I despise those “I hang my flag to the wind” whimps who never ever had any opinion of their own.

  3. Islam is lame.

    Long live Liberty!

As a Taoist agnostic I stand by Pat C.s side in this fight for our freedom against Theocratic Terror of any type.

  4. Richard Dawkins: Now He Defends What He Set Out to Destroy

by sheikyermami on April 21, 2010

Alas, the genie is out of the bottle:
Buddhists, Dawkins and Gays worried by Islam in Europe

The rapidly accelerating growth of Islam in Europe has produced a few unexpected alliances: Buddhists have joined Polish Nationalists in protesting the construction of a Mosque in Warsaw; atheist Richard Dawkins is having second thoughts about the collapse of Christianity in Britain, and the English Defence League – vilified by the Islamists as a bunch of football hooligans – has formed a gay division.

For someone who has made a career out of telling everyone how much more tolerant the world would be if only religion were obliterated from the human psyche, Dawkins manages to appear remarkably intolerant towards anyone who disagrees with him. The Australian
Buddhists join Polish crusade against Megamosque in Warsaw

The Polish activist group Europe of the Future held a protest on 27th March against the proposal to build a new Saudi-financed mosque in Warsaw. The predominantly Catholic Poles objected to the fact that the Saudis could build triumphalist mosques in European capitals, but Christians were not allowed to build churches or even possess Bibles in Saudi Arabia.
Richard Dawkins views Christianity as a bulwark against Islam

Christianity is in decline in Europe as a whole, and has collapsed in Britain in particular, leaving even the most committed atheists wondering what is going to fill the spiritual vacuum.

    From The Times:
“Even among the world’s most famous atheists, the crisis of faith among Christians in Europe has been met with concern.

Richard Dawkins, author of The God Delusion, said: “There are no Christians, as far as I know, blowing up buildings. I am not aware of any Christian suicide bombers. I am not aware of any major Christian denomination that believes the penalty for apostasy is death. I have mixed feelings about the decline of Christianity, in so far as Christianity might be a bulwark against something worse.”

    Peter Tatchell:

“It is a sign of how bad things have become that the faith’s enemies seem now to be defending it.”

  5. Thanks for this, Escape Velocity,

I always said that all of us, Atheists, Gays, Buddhists, Christians and whatever else, have to unite against islam.

When Dawkins begins to focus on the Islamic threat we can all be grateful. As Pat Condell and myself he will be marked as a “non atheist” a “hidden Christian” or “Nazi” sooner or later, I fear.

Islam is a threat to all of us, a threat to freedom. Let us lay beside all differences and discussions and concentrate on destroying this evil ideology.

Tolerance is just for them who can tolerate others themselve. Tolerance cannot tolerate intolerance.
