Mullah Krekar is Norway’s very own pet Islamist. Or was until recently — he’s now persona non grata, although he’s still allowed to reside in Norway.
Fjordman has written this about Mullah Krekar:
Mullah Krekar, an Al Qaeda-linked Islamic leader who was granted refugee status in Norway told an Oslo newspaper that there’s a war going on between the West and Islam. He said he’s sure that Islam will win. Muslims could indeed win this, if they could just sit tight, remain quiet and continue the demographic Jihad. But too many of them behave so, well, Islamic, boast and brag about their plans. Listening to Mullah Krekar talking is like watching one of those old James Bond movies, where the villain just has to tell Bond everything about his evil plans, just in time so that 007 can prevent it. “I’m so smart and evil, you can’t stop me, bwuahahaha!”
And now Mullah Krekar has become Al Qaeda’s webmaster in Norway. According to The Norway Post:
Mullah Krekar edits propaganda Web sites
Former guerilla leader Mullah Krekar is editing web sites filled with propaganda and tribute to terrorism, according to public broadcaster NRK. They are also linked to sites tied to Al-Qaida.
Krekar refuses to comment on the web pages, but NRK claims to be able to document his involvement.

Former head of the Kurdish guerrilla group Ansar al-Islam in Northern Iraq, Mullah Krekar, had refugee status in Norway, but the authorities have declared that he is a risk to the nation’s security, and that he must be expelled.
However, it is also clear that he will not be expelled until an new Iraqi government is in place, and which can guarantee Krekar’s security when he returns to Iraq.
However, the ruling means that Mullah Krekar has lost his refuge status in Norway, his travel documents, as well as his work and residence permits.
On Tuesday the Norwegian High Court will start proceedings to determine whether or not the expulsion order is valid.
