Gates of Vienna News Feed 12/16/2016

German legislators have proposed legislation that would force social media to act promptly to remove spurious news stories. Under the new law, Facebook and other prominent sites would be obliged to remove “fake news” items as soon as they were posted.

In other news, a fire at a migrant center near Paris killed one person and forced the evacuation of 300 people.

China Dumps Treasuries: Foreign Central Banks Liquidate a Record $403 Billion in US Paper

The biggest seller, and keep in mind that TIC data is on a market-price adjusted basis, was once again was China, which in October “sold” a record $41 billion in US paper (the actual underlying number while different, as this particular series is adjusted for Mark to Market variations, will be similar), and a massive $125 billion in the last 4 months, bringing its total Treasury holdings to just $1.116 trillion, the lowest amount of US paper held by Beijing since 2010. In the process, China has now been overtaken by Japan for the top US creditor position in terms of total holdings with $1.132 trillion, for just the second time.

Suspects include former chairmen Fornasari and Rosi

(ANSA) — Arezzo, December 16 — Arezzo prosecutors on Friday notified 21 former board members and managers at Banca Etruria that the first strand of an investigation concerning fraudulent bankruptcy charges has been closed.

The 21 include members of the bank’s last two boards and ex-chairmen Giuseppe Fornasari and Lorenzo Rosi.

This strand of the investigation concerns 180 million euros worth of loans offered by the bank which were never paid back, leading to the Arezzo-based lender’s bankruptcy.

Italy: CONSOB OKs MPS Subordinated Bond Conversion

Offer opens today to end on December 21

(ANSA) — Milan, December 16 — The CONSOB stock market watchdog has authorized the planned conversion of subordinated bonds into shares of Monte dei Paschi di Siena (MPS), the troubled Tuscan lender confirmed on Friday.

Italy’s third-largest and oldest bank, received a green light from CONSOB to re-open a bond-to-equity swap offer for 40,000 retail investors who own securities worth roughly two billion euros. MPS was allowed to ask retail investors to swap two billion euros of subordinated bonds for equity starting Friday at 9 am through 2 pm on December 21, the bank also said in the statement.

The operation is part of a five-billion-euro capital increase plan to be completed by the end of the year, which was approved by the board of the bank on Thursday.

Shares will be issued at a maximum price of 24.9 euros and a minimum of 1 euro, the bank said. Of these, 35% will be available to the Italian public — of which at least 30% reserved for current shareholders — with 65% reserved for institutional investors. MPS shares rose 1.06% in mid-morning trading Friday.

Florida Man Faked a Pro-Trump Hate Crime

A Florida man was arrested twice over the weekend following a bizarre string of incidents that could have potentially put the life of his ex and their four children at risk.

Vincent Palmer III, 27, placed a note with the words ‘KKK’ and ‘Trump’ as well as a slew of racial slurs that were directed at his own children on the mailbox of his ex-girlfriend before smashing a brick through the window of her car and setting the vehicle on fire in the early morning hours of Saturday.

He then fled, but returned when his ex, Staci Winn, 35, called him to say what had happened to her car.

Police on the scene then arrested Palmer when they noticed he was acting suspicious and learned there was a warrant out for his arrest over failure to pay child support.

George Soros is Funding Facebook’s “Third-Party Fact Checking” Organization Targeting “Fake News”

Behind almost every liberal crusade of the past several decades, from the blocking of voter ID laws to the Syrian refugee crisis, there has been one man quietly pulling the puppet strings from the background: George Soros. So imagine our complete shock when we discovered Soros to be the financing source behind Facebook’s “third-party fact checking” organization retained to flag, and thus eliminate, “fake news.”

A Republican elector who has been bombarded with irate letters, emails and phone calls from Hillary Clinton voters has slammed the left’s efforts at influencing electors as a “coup d’etat” attempt to “overturn a fair and legal election”.

“What the Hamilton Electors are suggesting amounts to a coup d’etat to overturn a fair and legal election. I refuse to co-operate with them,” he tweeted.

Shocker: Even Obama Lawyers Admit Birth Certificate Forged: “But Eligibility’s a Separate Matter”

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, headed by the outgoing Sheriff Joe Arpaio, found, via WND:

A years-long forensics investigation into the computer image of the long-form Hawaiian birth certificate image that Barack Obama released during a White House news conference during his first term and presented to the American people as an official government document concluded it is “fake.”…

The sheriff’s video said there were nine images on the Obama birth certificate that appear to be identical to, and copied from, another birth certificate issued in Hawaii just days after his birth. That certificate belongs to Johanna Ah’nee…

“The inescapable conclusion is that the Hawaii Department of Health has not shown the American public the original 1961 birth records for Barack Obama, if they actually exist,” he said.

Clearly, the mainstream media will continue to cast doubt and ridicule on these claims.

But it isn’t for lack of substance, but for fear that these dangerous issues could be raised. A Republican controlled Congress, however, could revive the issue again. That much remains to be seen.

So what does it all mean? According to Jerome Corsi, WND writer and author of Where’s the Birth Certificate?:

“That President Obama’s birth certificate is fake, as proven now by a legitimate law enforcement examination raises serious questions that high crimes and misdemeanors have been committed at the highest level of government. The clear conclusion is that the Obama presidency may have been illegitimate, having violated Article 2, Section 1 of the Constitution. Impeachment procedures may be required, even if those procedures are conducted after Obama leaves office.”

Trump’s Global Vision and Challenges

Translated excerpts from Srdja Trifkovic’s latest interview with the RTRS (the Bosnian-Serb Republic public media service). [Video]

Q: There’s a whole host of generals among Trump’s appointees. Is he creating a junta?

ST: First of all, we should differentiate between political generals and true soldiers. Men like Wesley Clark and Colin Powell, or even David Petraeus, are primarily political generals. But if we look at retired general Michael Flynn, the new national security advisor, or at “Mad Dog” Mattis, we see men who—their occasional surplus of adrenaline obligatory in a true warrior notwithstanding—also know the price of war. They are far more acutely aware of the cost of maintaining a global empire than all those neoliberal or neoconservative theorists who are at the Heritage Foundation today, at the Department of State tomorrow; or at Brookings today, at the Pentagon tomorrow . . . plotting their no-flight-zones in Syria and similar schemes, with all the attendant risks and escalation potential.

Q: What do you think of Trump’s appointment of the new Secretary of State?

ST: Rex Tillerson is a successful businessman. Heading the seventh corporation in the world by revenue—with active operations in dozens of countries—is a far greater challenge, and much better qualifying experience for a secretary of state, than belonging to the Washington machine, which characterized a host of other potential candidates for the post. Mitt Romney was supposedly a contender; but if we look at his 2012 campaign, we see that he was merely repeating the old slogans of American exceptionalism and full-spectrum dominance: there had never been any significant difference between him and the liberal-interventionist establishment. Tillerson, by contrast, is a pragmatist. He signed a significant oil exploration and drilling contract with Russia in 2010, providing Exxon’s technology which the Russians do not have, and received a decoration from Putin in 2013. He is openly skeptical of sanctions, for which he may well be grilled before the Senate during his confirmation process—because of the potential conflict of interest . . .

Q: Can the Russia-related Congressional investigation threaten Trump’s inauguration?…

Italy: Marra, Scarpellini ‘Dangers to Society’ Claims Warrant

Wiretaps show ‘nature of their relationship’

(see related)(ANSA) — Rome, December 16 — Rome City Hall personnel chief Raffaele Marra and real estate developer Sergio Scarpellini are “a danger to society” and might commit further “serious offences” if left at large, according to an arrest warrant against them out Friday.

The warrant pointed to a risk Marra committing further crimes “due to his concrete role in the city of Rome and the undoubted trust he enjoys from Mayor Virginia Raggi”.

Also on Friday, wiretaps pointed to what investigators say was “the nature of the relationship” between Marra and Scarpellini.

In one wiretapped conversation held in June 2016, Marra was heard telling Scarpellini’s secretary that “I remain at his (Scarpellini’s) disposal”. “He knows I’m at his service,” Marra said after asking for Scarpellini to put in a word in his favor with cement magnate and publisher Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone. Marra had asked Scarpellini to ask Caltagirone to exert his influence to prevent unfavorable press reports about himself.

Marra also appeared to fear being removed from his influential position as Raggi’s chief of staff.

Raggi did in fact reassign Marra as chief of personnel at City Hall after a slew of protests and unfavorable press reports about him.

“I was organizing everything,” Marra said in a wiretapped conversation. “I’ve gone from being the most powerful man to the last of the wankers in three days”. Also on Friday, Raggi admitted in a press conference she might have been wrong to have made Marra her personnel chief, and tried to distance herself from the official who has widely been described as her right-hand man. “We probably made a mistake,” Raggi said. “Marra was a manager, and we trusted him. I’m sorry for the citizens of Rome and the 5-Star Movement (M5S)”.

Raggi hails from the populist, euroskeptic M5S led by comedian Beppe Grillo, to whom she also apologized for her staunch defence of Marra in the months prior to his arrest.

“Grillo had some doubts,” Raggi admitted. “Marra is not a politician, and the people of Rome are my right hand”.

She also said she would replace Marra “immediately”, that she trusts in the judiciary, and that her administration will go forward.

Italy: Milan Mayor Sala Suspends Himself Over Expo Probe

Case regards biggest contract for 2015 World Fair

(ANSA) — Milan, December 16 — Milan Mayor Giuseppe Sala is suspending himself on Friday after reports that he is under investigation in relation to his former role as commissioner of Milan Expo 2015. Sala announced the move late on Thursday, saying he learned of the probe via press reports. “Even though I don’t have the minimum idea what the investigative hypothesis is, I have decided to suspend myself from the position of mayor,” Sala said.

The mayor is among several people under investigation in the so-called ‘Piastra dei Servizi’ (Services Plate) probe into alleged corruption bid process for the World Fair’s biggest contract, sources said.

Sala wrote in a letter to his deputies on Friday that he was suspending himself until the accusations against him are clarified. “My absence is due to the personal need to find out about the case and the accusations,” Sala wrote to Deputy Milan Mayor Anna Scavuzzo and Deputy Metropolitan City Mayor as well as city assembly president Lamberto Berotolè. “Therefore, I will not be able to perform my institutional duties until the accusations are clarified”.

Caroline Glick: A Trumpian Israeli Initiative

US President-elect Donald Trump won’t even take office for another month, but he has already killed the status quo.

During the election, Trump trounced the untouchable consensus on NATO’s post-Cold War purpose. Questioning the purpose of an alliance formed to fight a war that ended 25 years ago is indisputably a reasonable thing to do. But until Trump came around, no one did.

Since November 7, Trump has continue to reject accepted wisdom. For 44 years no US president would speak with the president of Taiwan. And then President-elect Trump took a call from Taiwan’s President-elect Tsai Ing-wen.

It’s not clear where Trump stands on either NATO or Taiwan. But it is eminently apparent that by ignoring protocol, Trump expanded his maneuver room in his dealings with NATO and China.

Then of course, there is Jerusalem…

“Run on Banks” As 72-Hour Mandate Forces Venezuelans to Turn in Large Bills: Strict Cash Controls

In the ongoing saga of Venezuela’s sad economic slide into hell, it came as a strong arm move on the part of President Maduro.

Bank runs are happening in Venezuela, but not to pull money from the banks; rather, to get their 100 Bs. bills into the banks before a 72-hour time limit expires and the notes become outlawed currency that is no longer officially recognized.

Long lines once again, and this time for the opportunity not to lose all the money that these struggling people have been saving up and safeguarding amid this insane and chaotic world of Venezuela:…

Interestingly, this restriction of cash isn’t just happening in Venezuela where an economic collapse is underway, but in other places, too.

Something bigger is in the works.

India just issued a harsh crackdown on currency, and removed large notes from circulation to combat the “black market” (read: offgrid); now Australia has done the same thing, as the race to eliminate cash is accelerating.

In the name of stopping black market transactions, they are forcing people onto a more tightly controlled grid.

Canada, Soros and UN Join Forces to Resettle More Refugees in the West

The Global Refugee Sponsorship Initiative met in Ottawa this week for a three-day launch event that brought together 90 participants, including sponsorship groups, international delegates, partners and government officials interested in Canada’s private sponsorship model for refugees.

The Global Refugee Sponsorship Initiative is led by the Government of Canada, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the University of Ottawa, the Radcliffe Foundation, and the Open Society Foundations, a network of foundations, partners, and projects in more than 100 countries that was founded and run by American billionaire George Soros.

The new joint initiative has three primary objectives:

Contribute to enhanced responsibility-sharing by expanding the use of private sponsorship as a pathway for refugees in need of protection and solutions; Encourage the expansion of resettlement by building the capacity of states, civil society actors, and private citizens to launch private sponsorship programs; and Provide a vehicle that mobilizes citizens in direct support of refugees and encourages a broader political debate that is supportive of refugee protection.

In attendance at the conference were representatives from Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Germany, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United States, as well as a variety of other stakeholders from around the world.

According to the official statement, the participants discussed Canada’s private sponsorship model and how it could be adapted and supported in other countries’ contexts.

The federal government believes that the addition of a private sponsorship program alongside existing government-assisted ones €Žhas the potential to significantly increase resettlement places for close to 1.2 million refugees around the world who are in critical need of resettlement.

[Comment: It is the UN that decides whether or not peoples can be classed as refugees or not. These western countries being invaded signed on to the resettlement plan. It was the camel’s nose. EU Still Behind on Migration, Gentiloni Says

Premier debuts in Brussels

(ANSAmed) — BRUSSELS, DECEMBER 16 — Paolo Gentiloni has debuted in Brussels as prime minister. “All colleagues asked me to say hi” to ex-premier Matteo Renzi and “welcomed me warmly”, said Gentiloni, adding that his counterparts were curious and impressed by the speed with which the crisis had been solved after Renzi’s resignation.

But then the new premier attacked, denouncing the “huge delay” with which Europe is reacting to the migration crises.

The delays become more significant because “problems are quicker than solutions”, he observed at the end of the summit.

The premier arrived six hours after he was supposed to hold a press conference, presenting his excuses to reporters with irony: “The meeting only lasted 12 hours”. But if the tone was soft, his message was sharp, also towards Germany, which “set the example” on migration policies, he said, but shouldn’t relax now because the Aegean route is “apparently under control”.

The emergency is not over just because the problem has moved along the Mediterranean route and towards Italy, he said. And action on the ‘migration compact’ for Africa is too slow, as the plan was launched in January and is only now moving its first concrete steps.

He also spoke against not passing a good reform of the Dublin agreements. “One and a half hour” of the 12 were spent deftly working on the conclusions, where at the end Germany’s haste was halted to close everything by next June.

The objective has been outlined but it is not an obligatory mandate anymore.

And Italy is on the frontline in foiling the Polish attempt to extend by a year instead of six months the sanctions against Russia for Ukraine. He also said it was wrong to threaten more over actions in Syria because Europe should not have “automatic reactions” especially at a time of “political transition” like the one started with Donald Trump taking office as US president.

Hospitals in Italy Ordered to Kick Out Patients to Make Way for Migrants

Locals discharged so hundreds of “refugees” could get health check ups

Another report described the order as “a communication between madness and total ruthlessness”.

Hospitals on the Italian island of Sardinia are being ordered to kick out local patients in order to make way for migrants.

Il Giornale reports that a scandal is brewing after government officials told hospitals to discharge their existing patients so that hundreds of “refugees” arriving in Porto Torres could be sent for health check ups.

The advisory tells staff that they need to send patients home in the morning if possible and in the afternoon by the latest, and that doctors and nurses should prepare themselves for “a load of very heavy work”.

According to the report, “approximately 198 men, 126 women and 68 children” arrived at Porto Torres in one night alone.

Another report described the order as “a communication between madness and total ruthlessness”.

In 2014 and 2015, a staggering 320,000 migrants arrived on Italian shores. Boats are often sent to just off the coast of Libya to rescue huge numbers of “refugees”.

Rome is on the Verge of Violence as Deprived Italians React Angrily to Migrants

Virginia Raggi, mayor of the Italian capital, has warned a battle between the two groups is imminent and that the city should be doing all it can to welcome refugees from Africa and the Middle East.

[Comment: This mayor is a fool at best, or a traitor at worst. There is a difference between immigration and migration. What is going on now is a migration designed to deconstruct western nations states priot to implementation of a world tyrannical new order.]

Why it’s Not Humanitarian to Import Drastically Different Cultures Into Welfare States

Straddling the picturesque Dreisam River in the southeast German state of Baden-Württemberg is the small and quaint university city of Freiburg. On the night of October 16, 19-year-old medical student Maria Ladenburger was brutally raped and drowned in the Dreisam River.

After a thorough investigation, amid much public outcry, the suspect was determined to be a 17-year-old Afghan migrant who had entered Germany illegally and applied for asylum. Despite a previous record of assault, he was allowed to stay in the country.

Local authorities are now investigating the similar rape and murder of a 27-year-old woman in the nearby town of Endingen. Both of these horrific cases are part of a growing collection of tragedies that have been occurring across Europe in the wake of this unprecedented migrant crisis.

  1. I clicked on the headline -UK:”They were like wild animals”Migrant mobs beat workmates senseless.
I got taken to an article which clearly stated that the attack happened today(December 17) on a Melbourne beach and mentioned an Australian newspaper commentator Andrew Bolt and his warnings about migrant gangs making trouble her in Oz.
So I am a bit puzzled that it is labeled U.K. rather than Australia.

And yes the migrant gangs here in Ozz are out of control.
The Apex gang who are largely Sudanese ,Somali and Pacific Islander constantly stage violent home invasions, burglaries and car -jackings.
They get charged, taken to court ,told to mend the error of their ways and then get released back into the community only to commit further crimes and be given second third and even fourth warnings before finally spending some time in jail.

We really need to stop with the soft touch treatment and deport these criminals (mostly teenagers )and their entire families back to their home countries.
We have quite enough criminal scum of our own.We don’t need anymore.

It would take only one deportation of an Apex gang member and his family before word got round and the parents of other Apex gang members pulled their kids into line.

Merry Christmas people and a Happy New Year.

    • “It would take only one deportation of an Apex gang member and his family”

Yes, it would, but it would interfere with the globalists’ massive push for chaos. That’s why they will keep at it despite protestations. Their main tactic lately is to lie that something is about to change because “we’ve seen the error of our ways” while in practice changing nothing, and while racing to silence and punish people whose lives are being sacrificed, and who object.

The elites are at war with us. They are carrying out this war, in part, via proxies. Somalis seem to be particularly favored as proxies at the moment. What they are doing is importing to what amounts to foreign mercenaries to terrorize their own people. How else can you explain what is going on just about everywhere?

      • Australia seems to find it easy to deport any problematic jail bird kiwis. 😉

        Your wish has been done,

Two members of the violent Apex street gang are set to be deported from Australia after their visas were revoked.

plus as you will see 2 more, and keep at it. Just hope that has some affect.

Up to a 1000 criminals – including killers, sex offenders, drug dealers and outlaw bikies[gang] – will be dumped on New Zealand’s doorstep in the next five years.
        http://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/71091542/Hundreds-of-criminals-face-deportation-to-New-Zealand

Why do they not deport back to drop off points in the Middle East, like putting on a life boat with just enough provisions and fuel to reach a port of the coast of Africa? Those life boats need to be filled up for that return trip.
After all this is practiced of the coast of Indonesia.

New Zealand and Australia have had very high immigrant rates, an issue in itself, then from the problematic areas, slip under the radar as the sheer numbers of imports are very high on a per capita basis.

        • I’m a Kiwi, and I don’t blame Australia for making us deal with NZ-born criminals. Why should Australia have to keep them? As long as they are identified and we imprison them, OK.

About our immigration rate: we have a points system, aiming to allow only people who will help our country. Not at all what is happening in Germany with the ‘refugee’ crisis.

Sure, sometimes the wrong people do manage to get into NZ, but mainly our immigrants seem to be decent people. I do think we allow too many people in, as our infrastructure can’t keep up and we are losing some of our green beauty, but all the Koreans, Chinese and Indians I know (and I know lots) are pleasant, educated, hardworking people who are keeping things like classical music alive as well as truly enriching us with aspects of their culture and cuisine.

Also, many have stronger Christian and family values than the average white Kiwi does these days, which will surely please some people on this site.

    • Sigh… So Oz and NZ are determined to be just as stupid and terminally naive as western Europeans; I would have expected better from Australasia, but it seems they are also very slow learners, determined to show the world how kind they are, by letting the ‘migrants’ get away with anything and everything.

Like Europe, they will pay the price for their naive kindliness!

        • I disagree, Australasians saw what was beginning to happen in Europe; You’d have to be “stupid” not to see it!

Now it’s ubiquitous, and still they can’t (won’t) see it! Just like every other country in the western world….

          • Many of our leaders of both sides, have been and done a course in some prestigious USA or UK university.
Even if they did a dry topic like economics, it seems as if it has been contaminated with modern sociology/humanist concepts that seems to encourage immigration and one world concepts.

This flows through all the Parliamentary bureaucracy, who have deeply imbibe of leftist memes like feminism (3rd wave) colonist privilege and way out in the local government and through out the educations system, kindergartens and midwives.

Though far from the USA even the ordinary working person has puffed out their chest and marveled when Trump won, to the wailing and nashing of teeth of our own talking heads.

Whether we have the numbers, can find a dedicated leader, and not be divided by choice, or kept by our tribal roots.
It will be a close run thing, to see if immigration is paid more than lip service.

Polling seems incessant, as elections next year and whether that will drive immigration policies, with commitment remains to be seen.

          • With fall of Aleppo another demand with great agitation to increase intake of refugees by some parties.
Already an increase earlier this year plus a special intake of refugees vetted through UNHCR 🙂 yeah right.
Ratio of Christian families seem very low on the current lot.

          • simpleton1. I believe your response to Peter35 is a good one. Many who comment here and on other sites forget that one can never lump a whole population together when it comes to electing those who now rule over us.

You touch on ‘polling’ which I find a very interesting concept that has been made to permeate the media and political process and a concept that has taken hold of both estates, especially over the past 30 odd years. It now appears to be the fortnightly ‘polls’ that drive our political vehicle, and even top commentators like Andrew Bolt, seem to be beholden to whatever the fortnightly ‘polling’ brings.

Frankly, I find that ‘polling’ is an over rated exercise based on ‘electoral feelings’ that regular ‘polling’ purportedly produces as to be entirely unreliable as to the actual results that the real poll produces at the end of each parliamentary term.

And I have proven this to my own satisfaction on several occasions with a reliable predictability based on what the fortnightly ‘polls’ do not show. And that is what the other 99.99% of the population actually feel.

          • I couldn’t agree more. Notice the success of Donald Trump, who paid no attention to polls.

          • Thanks Nemesis
Last time you mentioned to me about BC of UPof Australia being too much of an admirer of AH. and I agree that is too much baggage, when I also found that out.
Then I understood about the rowdy opposition to him.
However I have found that there is rowdy opposition to Restore Australia, obviously hinting to baggage there.
I know some of these things need to be cleaned out, even though it is really splintering our side.

Can you tell me what who is I think is television 10. I can only get it through BC’s face book page and not direct.
This regarding the 2 builders being beaten up in Sydney, that is not displayed on other Aussie media.

            Polling,
Most parties do their own in house polling. How that is done depends on the skill and knowledge of demographics of that polling company, and any direction given by the campaign managers.

All those reports are kept close to the chest, though undoubtedly compared to the public polls.
So I am sure Trump was polling, but was much more accurate, and took the risk of how and who he targeted. Then again he has observed many other elections, and so saw the gaps, and the reaction in meetings were really good.

It was you Baron that said it was the people who decided if they wanted Trump then they had to work for Trump, putting out their lawn signs, and probably quietly helping others to get to the voting booth.

If I have the time I now try and 2nd guess, is it a public poll, or private, for a party. From the questions Then to figure what answer they may be looking for, and so do I give what they want? or something contrary?, well with in reason.

Also to fit the right demographic they may be after.
Can be a lot of fun to test out the interviewer, like saying the question asked could be better framed, and give alternatives, and even though they are not supposed to tip there hand and suppose to remain neutral, a hint of other questions may be forth coming.

To become more of who did you vote for last election?
My ‘persona’ can raise the value of that answer that then gives a heavier rating on the other answers to the questions.

It is because some of us are getting too much practice on answering these questions lol.

Always I am friendly, some times explaining it is just after work , and had a beer or 2. or eating while drinking some wine.
So repeat that again, is this what it means?
That all slows the pace of questions, giving time to think,

Well I am surprised, really not, when some “Party” announcement next month has made some minor adjustment, in some policy, with much fanfare and spin.

          • Simpleton1. Those ‘builders’ were landscapers in Melbourne – my source was the Daily Mail.

On Blair Cottrell – any one who dares to advertise himself as a patriot today will come under immediate attack from the media, the politicians and the Soros paid for street thugs and useful idiots. But it is Cottrell’s hero that will be his eventual undoing because it says much about his way of thinking, and that kind of thinking is THE turnoff for most folk.

Whether ‘polling’ is done ‘inhouse’ or via polling companies, the sample taken on questions asked is no guarantee of a projected result. No one can accurately determine how an individual will vote on the only day that counts when it comes to ‘polls’.

Polling is airy fairy stuff that is deliberately used to drive an obvious – at least to me – political course throughout the West. Once upon a time one did not hear from politicians or government, unless there was a need to inform the public or individual pollies caused a ‘scandal’. Compare yesterday with today and how the media now beat a daily path to the pollies doors and hang off every little word uttered by feckless and dishonest political hacks who have grown with the media into playing the only game in town – lying to the public.

One needs to become a good observer of what is going on around him at this time. Look and learn and say little unless asked for opinions. While things may appear to be changing rapidly some things will always remain the same – especially how most folk think.

  2. “German legislators have proposed legislation that would force social media (…) to remove “fake news” items as soon as they were posted.”

Many are joking that facebook now has to remove every linked content of the MSM, state media and quotes of german officials, especially from Merkel herself. 😉
Since they all produce fake news and lies.

  3. The white magician’s have their spells all mixed up and their knickers in a twist. Educate the population young and old with the truth about the lowlife Muslims and their fellow migrant travelers. ‘Things” will soon come into balance. At present all we have is ignorance in action. Hippy Christmas and a Populist Nu Year.

  4. Maybe the best way to get around “fake news” agenda will be to label the work as fiction, and have some creative license with the names of cities and people.

This could actually be fun. Washington would be Washingdoom. Donald Trump would be Donald Triumphant.

Surely, works of fiction cannot be outlawed in the West? Or maybe I am being too optimistic?

  5. Aussie institutions are PC, but the general public refuses to be forced into hypocrisy and are determined to call a spade a spade. If the immigrant gangs continue I’m sure a group of Aussie blokes will teach them a lesson they won’t forget.

    • I’ve been watching this whole thing explode into the public arena simply because a Labor state government cannot bring itself to publicly call out via its PC controlled and hogtied police force the real problem. The government is more concerned with combatting complaints rather than fighting the real issues.

Surely somewhere in the targeted areas of Melbourne’s leafy suburbs that the APEX gangs and others like to invade, there is someone with a firearm who will have no problem in using it when necessary.

If that action ever eventuates, then in my humble opinion, that simple reaction will cause those who like to invade people’s homes in the wee hours to rethink their criminal behaviour.

      • I do not think the crims will think.
It will escalate, and the PC authorities, and judiciary, will have to be forced to admit, that as the police have lost control, and can not and will not protect the citizen then the citizen has every right to protect himself, family, others and property.

Hopefully it is a reasonably clear cut case, so that the neighbours, community and many others step up and show their support in overwhelming numbers, that can not be ignored. Marches, Vigils, letters, emails, protests, bill boards, placards, media, adverts, talk back radio, meetings etc.
This is to effect the Police, Judiciary, Politicians and perhaps some good principled people/leaders may come forward to hone their teeth on that case and then take the issues even further.

We all know how many others would make out who were the victims.

        • Those communities who believe that they are at risk should form a vigilante group. Let the police then deal with those who are out to protect themselves from those the government, the police and the judiciary believe have more rights than those who feel threatened.

Believe it or not, when the government fails in its duty to protect the ordinary citizen then the citizen has every right to takes matters into his own hands when it comes to self-defence issues.

All Australian criminal codes allow the ordinary citizen to prevent crime. If the prevention measures come down to the forming of vigilante groups then so long as those within those groups do not break any criminal codes there is nothing the police or the government can do legally to prevent vigilante groups from parading in their neighbourhood to protect their community.

But, just the death of one of those Apex gang members caught breaking into a home would have far more effect in mitigating such actions.
