Italy: Great Pride at Centre-Right Success in Abruzzo Says Meloni

Incumbent Marsilio polls 53.5% to centre-left D’Amico’s 46.5%

Premier Giorgia Meloni on Monday hailed the reconfirmation of centre-right candidate Marco Marsilio as Abruzzo governor after regional polls on Sunday, saying it is a source of great pride.

“Marco Marsilio is the first president in Abruzzo’s history to be reconfirmed for a second term,” said Meloni on social media after provisional results gave the centre-right candidate and incumbent governor 53.5% to the centre-left candidate Luciano D’Amico’s 46.5% with the votes from 100 polling stations out of 1,634 still to count.

“And it is a source of great pride for us that the citizens of Abruzzo have wanted to continue to put their trust in him and, with him, to put their trust in the centre-right, which is confirmed as the majority,” she added.

“It is a trust that, as always, we will not betray.

We will continue to work to put Abruzzo and Italy back in the place they deserve.

Thank you!” concluded the premier.

Voter turnout in the regional poll that was seen as another important test Meloni’s right-centre coalition after its narrow defeat in regional elections in Sardinia last month and ahead of European parliament elections in June stood at 52.2%, down from 53.11% in 2019.

According to data from the Eligendo portal, Meloni’s Brothers of Italy (FdI) took the biggest share of votes at 24%, followed by the centre-left Democratic Party (PD) with 20%, centre-right Forza Italia with 13.2%, right-wing League and Abruzzo insieme both with 7.6% and centre-left Five Star Movement (M5S) with 7%.

“Forza Italia’s success in Abruzzo definitively confirms the centrality of a movement that is occupying the political space between Giorgia Meloni and the Democratic Party,” party secretary, Deputy Premier and foreign Minister Antonio Tajani told Affaritaliani.it.

“Italy needs a serious, credible, reliable and responsible force that can bring peace of mind to its citizens,” he continued.

“Forza Italia’s excellent result is the real news of yesterday’s vote in Abruzzo. Now we are working to win in Basilicata and Piemonte and exceed 10% in the European elections,” he added.

Southern Basilicata is due to hold regional elections on April 21 and 22, while residents of northern Piemonte will vote for their new regional government on the same days as the European Parliament elections on June 8-9.

“A clear victory for the centre-right, with a good result for the League. Thanks Abruzzo, on we go with good governance for another five years!” said the League in a statement on Monday.

Italy: ‘Disconcerted’ by Storm Over Hailing BR Woman Says Prof

Heavy words from ministers, I’m far from Balzerani — Di Cesare

Rome La Sapienza University political philosophy lecturer and TV pundit Donatella Di Cesare said Tuesday she was “disconcerted” with the “storm” of criticism she had received by hailing a Red Brigades militant who died Monday as someone whose “revolution” she shared while differing on the ways used to achieve it.

“I’m surprised and disconcerted over the storm that has been raised” after she remembered “Comrade Luna” Barbara Balzerani, who took part in the raid that killed ex Christian Democratic leader Aldo Moro’s five escorts, as a fellow traveller, spurring the rightwing League party leader Matteo Salvini to call he a “disgrace”.

“I have read statements from ministers who have stigmatised me with very heavy words,” De Cesare went on.

“I have always been against all forms of violence.

“That is attested to by my life, my writings, and my teaching.

“I recalled Barbara Balzerani’s death, whom I’ve always been distant from.

In that context I touched on that radical transformation to which my generation aspired.

“Some chose armed struggle; I took the path of feminism.

“I experienced the violence of those years in prima persona, that of many Fascists”.

Di Cesare, an essayist who appears often on TV talk shows, posted on X, before deleting it: “Your revolution was also mine.

Different ways do not cancel ideas.

With a heavy heart a farewell to Comrade Luna (Moon) #barbarabalzerani”.

Balzerani, 75, who never reneged on her past of political violence, but said she was sorry for the victims, was involved in several killings, including the 1978 raid in which the five member of ex-premier Aldo Moro’s security escort were murdered.

Moro was kidnapped in the raid, and killed 54 days later.

Balzerani was also involved in the abduction of United States General James L. Dozier in 1981.

The previous year she was part of the BR hit squad that assassinated magistrate Girolamo Minervini.

She was arrested in 1985.

Due to her ability to dodge arrest she was dubbed “the scarlet pimpernel” by the Italian media.

Salvini said after La Sapienza’s dean voiced “dismay” at Di Cesare’s post: “In a university seat at the Sapienza and very often a guest of the TV salons of (independent broadcaster) La7.

An unacceptable insult for the victims of Red terrorism. “Shame on her.

“Prof Donatella Di Cesare celebrates the dead BR woman Barbara Balzerani,” said the anti-migrant leader.

Most Cancer Cases Are Among Vaccinated, Pathologist Warns

A top pathologist has warned that the vast majority of people now being diagnosed with cancer have been vaccinated with Covid mRNA shots.

Since 2021, doctors have been reporting rising numbers of cancer diagnoses.

Many have been warning of rapidly developing forms of the disease which have been dubbed “turbo cancers.”

The most common type of cancer is carcinoma.

Carcinoma occurs when the DNA of a cell is damaged or altered.

The damage causes the cell to grow uncontrollably and become malignant.

A growing number of experts now fear cancer-causing DNA damage is being caused by Covid mRNA injections.

Steve Kirsch, an MIT computer scientist who founded the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation (VSRF), spoke with Croatian pathologist Ivana Pavic about the links between cancers and Covid shots.

Hamas to Fight Israel

A state by the terrorists and for the terrorists.

While the Biden administration and the European Union were working on creating a ‘Palestinian’ state, the real details were being fleshed out in Moscow where the Palestinian Authority, Hamas and other terrorist groups were meeting.

The summit convened at the Institute of Oriental Studies, once a vehicle for Soviet influence operations in the Third World, brought together Azzam al-Ahmada, a member of the PLO Executive Committee, and Mousa Abu Marzouk, a top Hamas leader, as well as a representative for Islamic Jihad, the PFLP, DFLP and other terror groups.

The goal of all these terrorists coming together was to create a “technocratic government”.

What is a ‘technocratic government’? It’s a front for the terrorists and composed of nonprofit executives, academics, economists and others who have experience dealing with the international community and extracting foreign aid from them.

Hamas will not officially be part of the puppet regime, but will control the puppets.

“I hear a lot internationally, did Hamas agree? It’s none of your business,” Husam Zomlot, the Palestinian Authority’s ambassador to the United Kingdom told The Financial Times. “About Hamas — there are ongoing discussions?.?.?.?but this government is a technocratic government, it’s not made of any political factions, because this is not the time for political factions.”

That’s what the Biden administration and the EU want to hear, but while Qatar is helping assemble a new ‘technocratic’ front for the terrorists, the Moscow summit made it clear that the real agenda of the new government would be terror against Israel and the U.S.

Why Won’t Israel’s Critics Support a Six-Week Humanitarian Ceasefire in Gaza?

The demands for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza are everywhere. At the Oscars, celebrities such as Billie Eilish and Ramy Youssef wore red “Artists4Ceasefire” pins, which Youssef said meant an “immediate permanent ceasefire.”

During Biden’s State of the Union address, progressive Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Cori Bush (D-Mo.) held up signs calling for a “Lasting Ceasefire.” Resolutions in the United Nations, countries around the world, and international refugee non-governmental organizations all demand a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.

But when it comes to a proposal to give immediate relief to Gazans, these voices have been conspicuously silent. The proposal is a six-week humanitarian ceasefire, mediated by Qatar, the U.S. and Egypt, which Israel has accepted. The relief it would bring desperate Gazans — a respite from the war and a surge of food, water and medical supplies unhampered by intense fighting — has been rejected by Hamas in favor of continuing the war and even expanding it. Somehow, nobody is wearing Artists4SixWeekPause pins to protest this callous decision that will surely cause many civilian deaths in coming months.

Putin Suffers Blow in Ukraine War Days Before Election

Russian President Vladimir Putin has been handed several pieces of bad news in recent days, including claims on Tuesday from pro-Kyiv separatist fighters that they’ve seized control of a village in southern Russia.

The news regarding the village, as well as other war-related incidents, comes just days before Russian citizens take to the polls to cast their votes in the presidential election.

Putin is expected to win the election, set for Friday to Sunday, by a landslide. Opinion polls show Putin enjoys major support from his nation’s citizens, but Western analysts have long accused Russia of rigging its elections.

However, polls also show support for the war Putin launched on Ukraine has dwindled, and recent negative news could have the Kremlin concerned.

Ukrainian Drone Strikes Hit Targets Deep Inside Russia, Officials Say

Ukrainian long-range drones smashed into two oil facilities deep inside Russia on Tuesday, officials said, while an armed incursion claimed by Ukraine-based Russian opponents of the Kremlin unnerved a border region just days before Russia’s presidential election.

The attack by waves of drones across eight regions of Russia displayed Kyiv’s expanding technological capacity as the war extends into its third year. The cross-border ground assault also weakened President Vladimir Putin’s argument that life in Russia has been unaffected by the war, though he remains all but certain to win another six-year term after eliminating all opposition.

The reports of border fighting were murky, and it was impossible to ascertain with any certainty what was unfolding in Russia’s Kursk and Belgorod regions. Cross-border attacks in the area have occurred sporadically since the war began and have been the subject of claims and counterclaims, as well as disinformation and propaganda.

  1. Re: “Haitian Prime Minister Ariel Henry has resigned as violence continues to escalate in his country. Meanwhile, in a hearing of the House Armed Services Committee today, Defense Department officials testified that they are preparing for the possibility of a mass influx of illegal Haitian immigrants coming into the USA.”

William Lind, the internationally-known expert on unconventional conflict, asymmetric warfare and 4GW, has written/stated in the past that importing the chaos, violence and strife of the 3rd world into one’s homeland is to import fourth-generation war.

The government of that nation has fallen, and the premier has fled. Social and civic order has broken down, and violence and chaos reign in the streets, towns and cities of Haiti. Criminal gangs now run the country. Cannibalism is being committed and is being seen in the open. In other words, things have gone “full voodoo” if you take my meaning.

The same people now committing some of the most-heinous and cruel acts imaginable in that country, will do the same if they are brought here to the U.S. or to any other developed nation. And since the authorities are doing little to vet the “refugees,” there is nothing stopping the criminal element from mixing themselves in with the genuinely needy.

The proper course of action – if the U.S. should involve itself at all – is for outside security forces to help the Haitian government restore order and stop the madness. Such humanitarian missions are within the purview of the U.S. military, and where is the UN in all of this? This sort of thing is what our dues are supposed to buy. so where are UN aid and peace-keeping forces?

We’ve now seen the dialects at work enough times to know what is in fact happening. The powers-that-be create a crisis or take advantage of a naturally-occurring one – such as the unrest and violence in Haiti. They then stoke people’s emotions using emotion-laden film and TV reports showing the horrific conditions, which then is used as pretext to bring in yet more “refugees” and other aliens, illegals and foreigners who are then “settled” in this and other first-world nations.

It’s emotional manipulation on a massive scale, the weaponization of compassion.

Matt Bracken, a former U.S. Navy SEAL officer and current author and geopolitical analyst has said that it is easier to smuggle weapons into a country than people. Looking at the massive numbers of military-age males flooding into the U.S. recently, he observed that those are the “soldiers” of an as-yet unnamed army, who will be armed with AK47s and RPGs provided from opened cargo containers. And just like that is how you turn Anytown, U.S.A. into Mogadishu, Somalia – or Port-au-Prince, Haiti….

In general, I reckon Bracken’s correct. But there’re currently so many [dark] forces—foreign and domestic—preying upon Obamerica that I think it likely that the first force to make its move would find itself in direct confrontation with one (or more) of the others.

As’s been said, we’re just one Franz Ferdinand-style shot away from madness..

I’ve said – part in jest, partly not – for years that it’ll be the Latinos versus the Chinese versus the Muslims versus the domestic left fighting over squatters rights for the USA, with heritage Americans trapped in the middle.

Obviously, I hope it doesn’t come to that, but history tells somewhat of a dark tale where multi-ethnic highly-heterogeneous societies are concerned. “Balkanization” is not noted as a recipe for internal stability, nor social contentment.

“As’s been said, we’re just one Franz Ferdinand-style shot away from madness..”

Yeah, that war – the one to end all wars, as they once said, the one that “no one wanted,” but which happened anyway. And it started where else but in the Balkans.

Just to be clear: The “Franz Ferdinand” comment was meant to suggest a [generic and/or minor] trigger sparking a wider conflagration, rather than a particular location or historical event. There’re so many “black swans” in the skies currently that it’s probably more accurate to refer them as “black swarms”.

    • If we take the Democrat Party at its word the plan is to recruit as many as possible into the U.S. Armed Forces and police forces where they will be equipped with the best hardware the taxpayer can provide. No need to bother with equipment of questionable provenance.

      What could possibly go wrong.

    • Georgia, the best way to handle Haiti is send them more weapons and let nature handle it, they really are good at slaughtering one another. Then just blockade the country and let the jungle regrow itself, you know, for the environment.

Politician gets a year in prison for “racist” pictures that others spread

Dries Van Langenhove, former Belgian Member of Parliament, has been sentenced to an effective one-year prison sentence and a 16,000 euro fine for spreading “racist” joke pictures on the Internet.

The story goes back to September 2018, Nieuwsblad reports. Then an audit revealed that “racist, sexist and anti-Semitic” memes were being spread in chat groups linked to the right-wing organization Schild & Vrienden.

An investigation was launched against the organization’s founder and leader Dries Van Langenhove, who until last year sat in the Belgian parliament as an independent candidate for Vlaams Belang.

Now the politician is being sentenced for having been responsible for the chat groups and the politically incorrect message that was spread there.

Van Langenhove is sentenced to one year in prison and 16,000 euros in fines for “negationism”, incitement to hatred and racial segregation.
On top of that, he receives a ten-month suspended prison sentence for breaching the Arms Act, because he offered pepper spray for sale.

The referee uses a set of so-called PK platitudes to justify the harsh punishment.

    – He has dragged the other defendants into his racist, hateful, Nazi and history-denying discourse through which he pits people against each other.

He has demonstrated a far-reaching lack of standards and contempt for basic values and rights.

He creates a hostile atmosphere in the society. It contributes to contradictions, discord and conflicts and thus encourages physical and psychological violence.

All this indicates a particularly dangerous attitude, reads part of the rant.

Hans Rieder, Dries Van Langenhove’s lawyer, announced immediately after the hearing that he would appeal the verdict.

    – This is about a judge who organizes illegal interrogations, that’s the only thing I can say about this case. We will therefore immediately appeal, says the lawyer to Nieuwsblad.

  3. ….I’ll add that, for the second time in as many months, Chris Wray, FBI director, warned congress that “We are seeing a wide array of very dangerous threats that emanate from the border…” … but the border remains open as The Prince and The Party hold the door open whilst dangling free “stuff” for any and all ILLEGALS.
