Unemployment Rises in Poland for 2nd Month in a Row

Poland has seen an increase in the jobless figures from 5.1 percent in December to 5.4 percent in January, a rise of almost 50,000 in the number of unemployed, according to Poland’s Central Office of Statistics (GUS).

The GUS data shows that unemployment in Poland has risen for the second month running. In December, it rose from 5 percent to 5.1 percent. In January, that increase was even greater, with unemployment reaching 5.4 percent, a jump from 788,000 unemployed individuals to 837,000.

This means that unemployment has passed the 800,000 mark for the first time since March last year.

2nd Dem Faces Recall Effort in Crime-Ridden City After Business Owner Endures Violent Robberies

Concerned Washington, D.C. residents and small business owners have banded together to oust a Democratic councilmember during an ongoing crime surge, marking the second recall effort launch in the district in months.

The recall effort against Councilmember Brianne Nadeau launched Tuesday over her relaxed criminal justice reform policies as the district grapples with skyrocketing crime in recent years, leaving some business owners in turmoil and many residents feeling unsafe. The announcement echoed a push to remove fellow Councilmember Charles Allen, which has attracted support from Democratic political fundraisers and congressional staffers who have helped raise over $56,000 for the campaign.

Alec Baldwin’s Involuntary Manslaughter Trial Date Set in ‘Rust’ Movie Shooting

The involuntary manslaughter trial for Alec Baldwin over the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of “Rust” in October 2021 has been set for July, according to New Mexico’s First Judicial District Court.

Jury selection is set to begin on July 9 with the trial expected to last from July 10 to 19.

Baldwin was indicted by a grand jury on Jan. 19 on an involuntary manslaughter charge after prosecutors dropped the original manslaughter charges last April.

Baldwin, 65, is accused of fatally shooting Hutchins, 42, on the New Mexico set of the Western in October 2021. The actor was practicing a cross-draw when the gun fired, striking the cinematographer and director Joel Souza, who suffered a non-life-threatening injury.

Biden Butchers Line From Lincoln’s Inaugural Address After Saying ‘I Want to Make Sure I Get This Quote Exactly Right’

President Biden butchered one of Abraham Lincoln’s most famous lines while speaking to the nation’s governors over the weekend — after saying “I want to make sure I get this quote exactly right.”

The 81-year-old president read from a notecard at the Governor’s Ball Dinner on Saturday, which apparently contained a quotation from Lincoln’s inaugural address.

“Standing here in front of this portrait of the man behind me, I want to make sure I get this quote exactly right,” Biden began, standing in front of a painting of the 16th president.

“I hope by the end of the weekend,” the 81-year-old president told reporters as he and Meyers visited an ice cream parlor next door to the Peacock Network’s headquarters after taping Meyers’ “Late Night” show.

“My national security adviser tells me that we’re close, we’re close, we’re not done yet. My hope is by next Monday we’ll have a ceasefire,” Biden added.

Biden’s Commerce Chief Raises Alarm Over ‘National Security Concerns About Electric Vehicles’ Manufactured in China

Democrat President Joe Biden’s Commerce Department chief has spoken out to raise the alarm over “national security concerns about electric vehicles,” in direct conflict with the green agenda of the White House.

Biden has been incessantly pushing a societal transition toward all-electric vehicles (EVs).

The push for EVs from the Biden administration has been relentless despite robust criticism and legitimate concerns raised not just by his political opposition but also by top auto industry experts.

However, officials within Biden’s own administration are also expressing doubt over the agenda.

California DAs Finally Getting Tough on Drug Dealers After Failure of Treatment-Based Sentencing as OD Deaths Mount

Faced with a surging fentanyl death toll, a growing number of prosecutors in woke San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area have finally started pursuing stiff jail terms — including life sentences — for drug dealers whose customers wind up overdosing.

The move is a reversal for many of the region’s more progressive-leaning district attorneys, who have long favored more lenient, treatment-based sentencing for drug offenses instead of prison.

The soft-on-crime sentencing policies have historically made it exceedingly difficult to successfully prosecute drug crimes, even as the overdose crisis spirals out of control.

Can Texas Stop Soros From Taking Over Conservative Radio?

Mornings in Northeastern Pennsylvania start on WILK-FM with ‘The Bob Cordaro Show’ described as “convincingly conservative, lovingly logical, proudly and passionately patriotic and reliably right”. And then eventually other conservatives, including Ben Shapiro, come on the air.

But that may be about to change.

WILK is one of a number of Pennsylvania stations owned by Audacy (five in Philadelphia alone), the second largest radio broadcaster in America and it, along with over 200 radio stations across the country, is about to fall into the hands of George Soros in time for the 2024 election.

After Audacy was forced to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Soros Fund Management bought hundreds of millions of its debt for 50 cents on the dollar and under a bankruptcy agreement will become its largest shareholder with a potential impact on much of the country and its politics.

Audacy claims to be able to reach 200 million people across the range of its properties which include sports, music and talk radio stations, as well as a large digital platform, and while Audacy is not an inherently conservative company, it owns a number of talk radio stations and the talk radio format caters to commuters, early risers and working people which is to say conservatives. And the Soros takeover will give one of the biggest funders of leftist extremism control over not only conservative talk radio stations but those that are, like WILK, in swing states. That includes two other stations in Pennsylvania and many others across the country.

While business is business and the Hungarian immigrant made a fortune as a shrewd investor, radio is not a booming market and there is a pattern here that goes back to 2022 when Soros took over Radio Mambi, a conservative Hispanic radio station in Florida, as part of a network that would give him access to a third of Hispanics in the country.

Some radio hosts left Radio Mambi in protest and formed Radio Americano. Radio Americano, the country’s first conservative Hispanic radio network, formed a partnership with Audacy leasing one of its radio stations. Having taken over Radio Mambi, Soros will now be in a position to also cripple Radio Americano with a significant impact on the upcoming election.

When Republicans take over Democrat radio stations, Democrats don’t take it lying down.

When Caracol 1260 AM, a Latino radio station, was being sold in 2021 to a group that included a conservative Hispanic figure, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, a Democrat organization, sounded alarm bells and urged the FCC to block the sale.

“To win in 2022 this must stop!” former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell had argued.

The sale fell through and the Democrats won in 2022…

Manhattan DA Bragg Asks Judge for Gag Order in Trump’s Hush-Money Case

Manhattan prosecutors on Monday asked a judge to slap Donald Trump with a gag order to stop him from attacking witnesses or exposing jurors’ identities in the “hush money” criminal case that’s set to go to trial next month.

The motion from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office cites the former president’s “longstanding history of attacking witnesses, investigators, prosecutors, judges, and others” involved in his slew of legal cases as the reason for requesting the order.

It calls for Trump, 77, to be prohibited from making — or directing others to make — disparaging public remarks about potential witnesses and jurors when the trial gets underway March 25 with jury selection.

New: Rust Armorer Says Alec Baldwin to Blame for Fatal Shooting, Gun Expert Contradicts Actor’s Account

Hannah Gutierrez-Reed was in a New Mexico court on Monday in the case of the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was killed when a prop gun holding live amunition was fired by actor Alec Baldwin on set. Baldwin has blamed the armorer Gutierrez-Reed, who has blamed Baldwin.

FBI firearms expert Bryce Ziegler said that the gun that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the film Rust in 2021 would not fire unless the trigger was pulled. This contradicts Alec Baldwin who said the gun went off without him pulling the trigger. Hannah Gutierrez-Reed has pleaded not guilty in the case, according to the Independent.

Outrage Grows Over CDC Inaction on Chinese Biolab in California

Authored by Steve Ispas and Lear Zhou via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours)

It was as simple as flipping a switch, but doing so could have catastrophic consequences.

Jesalyn Harper, a City of Reedley code enforcement officer, had to determine whether to turn off the power to a secret Chinese biolab in California in order to prevent a fire that inspectors had said was a risk.

But with the power off, the freezers’ contents would thaw, with potentially dangerous consequences. The biolab was full of thousands of vials of possible infectious pathogens.

She called the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for advice.

“It was a very short-lived and frustrating phone call that ended with them hanging up,” said Ms. Harper.

She left the power on.

British Columbians Told to Stop Using Term ‘British Columbians’ Because it’s Offensive Now

The guideline is contained within an official guide for B.C. government workers drafting ‘Indigenous content’

The Province of British Columbia is now instructing its residents not to refer to themselves as “British Columbians” as the term is offensive.

The guideline — first publicized by True North — is contained within an official guide for B.C. government workers drafting “Indigenous content.”

Writers are told that the term British Columbian “excludes Indigenous Peoples who may not identify with it.”

In referring to First Nations, bureaucrats are told to avoid any moniker associated with B.C. or Canada, a “nation that has actively worked to assimilate (Indigenous) people.”

“‘British Columbians’ also excludes other groups such as newcomers and refugees,” it adds.

The correct term, according to the guide, is “people living in B.C.”

Hungary Parliament Approves Swedish NATO Bid and Elects New Head of State

Ireland: Woman Loses $800,000 Disability Lawsuit After News Report Shows Her Winning a Tree-Throwing Competition

A woman has lost over $800,000 from a personal injury case after she filed a lawsuit claiming to have been left disabled from a car crash.

However, 36-year-old Kamila Grabska lost out on her big payday after a local news report showed the mom from Ireland entering and winning a Christmas tree-throwing competition.

Grabska sued an insurance agency in the country, RSA Insurance, after a 2017 car crash.

She claimed the injuries she suffered during the crash caused her debilitating neck and back pain, the Irish Independent reported.

Grabska said her injuries had prevented her from holding down a job for five years

The car accident was the result of someone hitting Grabska’s car from the rear.

It allegedly left her unable to carry her young children or complete household chores.

Grabska, a mom of two from the town of Ennis in County Clare, quit her job shortly after, Irish media reports.

Macron Announces Steps to Boost Ukraine, Does Not Exclude Troops

French President Emmanuel Macron announced Monday new steps to boost Ukraine in its fight against the Russian invasion, saying not even the sending of Western ground troops was ruled out to achieve Europe’s goal of defeating Moscow.

Speaking after hosting a meeting of two dozen European leaders to discuss Ukraine, Macron painted a grim picture of a Russia whose positions he said were “hardening” both at home and on the battlefield.

“We are convinced that the defeat of Russia is indispensable to security and stability in Europe,” he said.

Macron Holds Meeting in Paris to Rally European Support for Ukraine

The French president said Ukraine’s allies needed to ‘jump-start’ their support for Kyiv as the war enters its third year.

French President Emmanuel Macron has told European allies that they must provide rapid support to strengthen Ukraine amid tougher Russian attacks on the battlefield as the war in Ukraine stretches into its third year.

“We are in the process of ensuring our collective security, for today and tomorrow,” Macron said as he hosted 20 European heads of state and government and other Western officials in Paris for a show of unity for Ukraine, three years after Russia launched its full-scale invasion.

“In recent months particularly, we have seen Russia getting tougher,” Macron said. “We also know that Russia is preparing new attacks, in particular to shock Ukrainian public opinion.”

The conference also signals Macron’s eagerness to present himself as a European champion of Ukraine’s cause, amid growing fears that United States support could wane in the coming years.

Major Escalation: Polish Farmers Block Germany’s Vital A2 Autobahn

Farmers in Poland are holding a 24-hour blockade of the A2 Autobahn near the Swiecko border crossing with Germany. Although the protest may be a warning shot for now, any potentially longer protest represents a major economic threat.

The farmers’ demonstration, which began at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25, and was due to end at 1.00 p.m. today, marks a significant escalation in the ongoing demonstrations by Polish farmers aimed at the EU’s Green Deal and seeking restrictions on the importation of agricultural goods from Ukraine.

Poles Have Little Faith That Ukraine Can Win the War Against Russia

According to the latest polling, only 28 percent of Poles think Ukraine will win the war with Russia, while 33 percent think they will lose and 39 percent are undecided. The poll, conducted by the SW Research agency for the weekly news outlet Wprost, has shown that Poles are losing faith in Ukraine’s ability to win the war following Russia’s invasion.

Two years ago, Russia failed in its initial efforts to take Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odessa, but it made substantial territorial gains in the east and south of Ukraine, eventually taking Mariupol, thereby creating a corridor between the Donbas region and Crimea, which had been occupied back in 2014.

Slovak PM: Russian-Ukraine War ‘Started Back in 2014 With the Rampant Spread of Ukrainian Neo-Nazis’

Ukraine’s Top Spy Chief Says Navalny Died From Blood Clot, Rejects ‘Murder’ Narrative

In a very unexpected plot twist, Ukraine appears to be in agreement with the Kremlin on Alexei Navalny’s death inside a far northern Russian prison which occurred on Feb. 16 and was listed by Russian authorities as officially due to “natural causes”. The dominant Western narrative has thus far been that Putin had him “murdered”.

Yet now Kiev sources are saying that the anti-Putin activist supported by the West died of a blood clot. Surprisingly, this explanation is being advanced among Ukraine media sources after none other than Gen. Kyrylo Budanov, chief of the Main Directorate of Intelligence (HUR), bluntly stated it to a group of journalists on Sunday. “I may disappoint you, but as far as we know, he indeed died as a result of a blood clot. And this has been more or less confirmed,” Budanov stated.

“No one has the right to obey!”

    A commentary by Kayvan Soufi-Siavash / apolut.

Germany should be ready for war within five years, according to current Defence Minister Pistorius of the SPD.

CDU parliamentarian and foreign policy expert Roderich Kiesewetter goes one step further and demands: “We must take the war to Russia”.

Now that the US is no longer the main supplier of heavy weapons to Ukraine, Germany is taking over this task under the Ampel government. We are supplying cruise missiles that can penetrate deep into Russia via detours and building ammunition factories both in Germany and in Ukraine. Together with Rheinmetall. But the war is still fought with soldiers. There are calls to reintroduce compulsory military service.

Pistorius wants more. A mandatory “resilience year” for ALL citizens between 18 and 65. That would be general mobilisation 2.0 through the back door. At the end of all this warfare capability is an armed conflict between NATO and nuclear power Russia. In the centre of Europe.

We sleepwalk into World War III and mock, persecute and criminalise people who call this collision course for what it is: a suicide mission that will only produce losers and threaten humanity as a whole!

When will we finally protest loudly against the agitators in our country? When will we finally take to the streets, collectively and without being asked, in favour of the path of diplomacy, instead of leaving the sovereignty of opinion to a group of self-absorbed egocentrics with no experience of war. They, the agitators, will never see the front themselves. Together with their children, they will see the carnage in Europe from their villas abroad. It will be our soldiers who once again die on Russian soil! Have we really learnt nothing from history?
“No one has the right to obey” (Hannah Arendt)

Every day our mass media trivialise war and build up an image of the enemy to get us used to killing in the near future. Until we just listen and hope it’s only pretend. This show will end in a showdown the day after tomorrow and this will be publicised by the government of the day in a statement like the one we have read before.

In 1999, in NATO’s war of aggression against the sovereign state of Yugoslavia. We in the West are not innocent slaves. We have also violated international law.
e following is the original speech by then SPD Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, in which he justified the bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999. The operation lasted 78 days. The future speech, which is supposed to justify a NATO operation against Russia, would be the equivalent of this one-to-one. Let us hope that this speech will never be made:

    ***************************************

    Dear citizens,

Tonight, NATO launched air strikes against military targets in Russia. By doing so, the Alliance wants to prevent further serious and systematic human rights violations and prevent a humanitarian disaster in Ukraine.

Russian President Putin is waging a ruthless war. Despite all warnings, the Russian security forces have intensified their terror against the Ukrainian majority in Ukraine. The international community cannot stand idly by and watch the human tragedy this causes in this part of Europe. We are not at war, but we are called upon to push for a peaceful solution, including by military means.

The military action is not directed against the Russian people. I would like to say this in particular to our Russian compatriots. We will do everything possible to avoid civilian casualties.

In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson at the end of last week, Mr Putin still showed a lack of understanding. This is all the less understandable because Ukraine’s accession to NATO does not call Russia’s existence into question. On the contrary, the European Union has promised Moscow a return to international organisations and a gradual lifting of sanctions in the event of a peace settlement.

Moscow’s response was to violate the treaties and send more troops to Donbass and Crimea. Therefore, the only way out was to use force.

With the action jointly supported by all Alliance partners, we are also defending our shared fundamental values of freedom, democracy and human rights. We must not allow these values to be trampled underfoot just two hours away by air.

Soldiers from the Bundeswehr are also participating in the NATO operation. This is what the Federal Government and the German Bundestag have decided – in accordance with the will of the vast majority of the German people.

The Federal Government did not take its decision lightly; after all, this is the first time since the end of World War II that German soldiers have been deployed in combat against Russia.

I would like to take this opportunity to call on President Putin to end the fighting in Donbass immediately. NATO and the international community as a whole remain ready to help implement the peace agreement with the consent of the parties to the conflict. The first NATO units, including 3,000 German soldiers, are ready to provide military support for a necessary ceasefire. At the Berlin Summit, Europe reaffirmed its responsibility for the peaceful development of the continent. Europe is also speaking with one voice on the difficult mission in Ukraine.

There is no doubt about our determination to end the killing in Ukraine. Only Moscow’s leadership has the power to end NATO’s mission by deciding in favour of peace.

    Tucker made it!

Russian counter-terrorist forces have foiled a terrorist attack in Moscow, which had been planned, directed and financed by the Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine. The terrorist cell was operated by “Ukrainian handlers” in order to carry out an attack on American journalist Tucker Carlson during his visit to Moscow. The terrorist confessed to the plot and gave details on it. He was provided with IED (improvised explosive device) for the attack. The plan was to target Tucker Carlson’s vehicle in the Four Seasons hotel underground parking lot.

Ccan’t find the news in the MSM, but it is in many other laces. Here, here and here and on Twitter/X. Trustworthy Gateway Pundit has it too. What should you believe then? The MSM has a motive to hide it, because history is not so good for their ally, “the Winston Churchill of our time.” But we must realize that it is a matter of faith, we cannot be certain.

But it’s war, and there are lies. The worst thing is that Danes, under the impression of their unrestrained propagandist media, believe that there are more lies from Russia than from the West. There is nothing to indicate that.

But when we think of Ukraine’s death list, which exists and which Tucker has come up with, I personally think it is quite possible that Ukraine wanted it. And then it’s blog material. Also when you consider the recent fate of the American Gonzalo Lira. He lived in Kharkov, was critical of the war, and died in a Ukrainian prison on January 12, 2024.

    Great allies Denmark has.

Tragic accidents abound in Putin’s Russia

A few days ago, Tucker Carlson was on host Glenn Beck’s show to talk about his sensational interview with President Vladimir Putin, and Beck asked him what he thought about the sudden death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in one of Putin’s prison camps. It wasn’t something that interested Carlson, he let it be known. Besides, you couldn’t know if it was the CIA that had organized the death, because he didn’t think it could be in Putin’s interest to get bad press. On the whole, Carlson didn’t care about what was happening outside the United States – which undeniably begs the question of why he traveled to Moscow to hear from a man whose opinions and actions were beyond his reach.

It is strange that Tucker Carlson does not seem to have noticed something that Putin told him during the interview – namely that Russia cannot cope with the global opinion influence emanating from the American agencies. If this is what Putin thinks, he can act as he wants without worrying about what people in the West think. For example, he can get rid of Alexei Navalny and look big on the Western reactions, because he is still called a dictator and a bandit.

The oft-quoted military-strategic analyst, Rebekah Koffler, has a somewhat different approach to Navalny’s death. Koffler was born in Russia, speaks fluent Russian and is the author of the book “Putin’s Playbook: Russia’s Secret Plan to Defeat America”. To Fox News, she says that Russians generally do not believe in coincidences. As for Navalny, in Koffler’s opinion it is unknown whether we will ever know exactly how he died, but “many analysts agree that the Russian intelligence services are probably behind his death”.

Koffler points out that since 1920 it has been Soviet and now Russian practice to eliminate so-called enemies of the state. The methods include poisoning, neck shots, forced suicide – such as jumping out of a window – and detonating mini bombs hidden in a box of chocolates.

Putin has made little attempt to hide his modus operandi. “He sends us subtle signals that are easy to decipher for those who understand who Putin is and know the signature of the Russian intelligence services,” says Koffler. “For example, after intelligence officer Sergei Skripal was poisoned, Putin stated during an interview with the Financial Times in June 2029 that ‘treason is the world’s greatest crime and traitors must be punished'”.

Navalny’s death is just the latest in a long line of similar events that have befallen people who have somehow come across the man in the Kremlin.

Among the dead we find the leader of the mercenary army, the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozin, whose plane crashed in August 2023 – a few months after he had criticized Putin’s way of waging war.
Another domestic rival, Boris Nemtsov, was gunned down in 2015 while driving over a bridge outside the Kremlin. Putin called the killing a provocation and authorities arrested five men who were sentenced to lengthy prison terms, but the regime has consistently refused to label the assassination as politically motivated.

The journalist and human rights defender, Anna Politkovskaja, was shot dead in 2006 after she had criticized the regime, i.a. for its policy in Chechnya. Journalist Natalya Estemirova was abducted and killed outside her home in Grozny in 2008.

    And so it continues.

Recently, a number of high-profile businessmen have been fired as a result of some strange “accidents” after they had criticized the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This applies, for example, to the head of oil giant Lukoil, Ravil Maganov, who fell out of a hospital window. The same thing happened to businessman Pavel Antov, who fell out of a hotel window in India in 2022.

At least eight Russian oligarchs has lost their lives under mysterious circumstances since the Russian invasion.

As Rebekah Koffler tells Fox News, murders committed by the intelligence services will always be carried out in a way that no investigator can prove.

“They will usually be called ‘tragic accidents’, and that is also part of the doctrine”, she adds.

    • Thank you for the essay by Lars Hedegaard. It seems that dissenters in Russia are in mortal danger,
Yet, you don’t want Sweden to have nuclear deterrence against such a regime?

or are you just trying to be a tiny bit

But if you want globalism to die here, too, you must be willing to unapologetically fight against everything and everyone that stands for it. Fight for your freedoms. Fight for your rights.

The next president of the United States must not only win an election, he must have the vision, the will and the courage to do whatever it takes. And, above all, he must be able to identify the underlying forces that will conspire against him. These dark forces are already taking over your country.
