A suspect has been arrested in Moscow for allegedly being paid by Ukrainian intelligence to assassinate Tucker Carlson while the latter was in Russia to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin. A bomb was allegedly to be placed under Mr. Carlson’s car in the parking garage of the hotel where he was staying. Russia’s security services arrested the alleged conspirator before he could execute his alleged attack.
In other news, the government of British Columbia has instructed its residents not to refer to themselves as “British Columbians”, because the term is offensive to indigenous people, immigrants, and other marginalized communities.

Unemployment Rises in Poland for 2nd Month in a Row
Poland has seen an increase in the jobless figures from 5.1 percent in December to 5.4 percent in January, a rise of almost 50,000 in the number of unemployed, according to Poland’s Central Office of Statistics (GUS).
The GUS data shows that unemployment in Poland has risen for the second month running. In December, it rose from 5 percent to 5.1 percent. In January, that increase was even greater, with unemployment reaching 5.4 percent, a jump from 788,000 unemployed individuals to 837,000.
This means that unemployment has passed the 800,000 mark for the first time since March last year.

Alec Baldwin’s Involuntary Manslaughter Trial Date Set in ‘Rust’ Movie Shooting

Jury selection is set to begin on July 9 with the trial expected to last from July 10 to 19.
Baldwin was indicted by a grand jury on Jan. 19 on an involuntary manslaughter charge after prosecutors dropped the original manslaughter charges last April.
Baldwin, 65, is accused of fatally shooting Hutchins, 42, on the New Mexico set of the Western in October 2021. The actor was practicing a cross-draw when the gun fired, striking the cinematographer and director Joel Souza, who suffered a non-life-threatening injury.

An Explosive Device Detonated Outside the Alabama Attorney General’s Office Over the Weekend
Authorities in Alabama are investigating after an explosive device detonated over the weekend outside the office of state Attorney General Steve Marshall.

Avast Anti-Virus Company is Fined for Tracking and Selling User Data
Avast, a well-known cybersecurity firm, has been confronted with a $16.5 million penalty from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
After the FTC complained alleging Avast of profiting from selling consumer data to third-party entities, the company found itself in this predicament.
Contrary to the firm’s promise of guarding consumer data against tracking on the web, the FTC claimed that they’ve been acting against their word. They’ve allegedly been gathering and marketing user browsing data unbeknownst to the users, and additionally misleading them.

President Biden said Monday that a new cease-fire in the Gaza Strip could begin within days — after protesters demanding an end to the Israeli invasion followed him to 30 Rockefeller Plaza for his interview with NBC late-night host Seth Meyers.

Faced with a surging fentanyl death toll, a growing number of prosecutors in woke San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area have finally started pursuing stiff jail terms — including life sentences — for drug dealers whose customers wind up overdosing.

Can Texas Stop Soros From Taking Over Conservative Radio?
Mornings in Northeastern Pennsylvania start on WILK-FM with ‘The Bob Cordaro Show’ described as “convincingly conservative, lovingly logical, proudly and passionately patriotic and reliably right”. And then eventually other conservatives, including Ben Shapiro, come on the air.
But that may be about to change.
WILK is one of a number of Pennsylvania stations owned by Audacy (five in Philadelphia alone), the second largest radio broadcaster in America and it, along with over 200 radio stations across the country, is about to fall into the hands of George Soros in time for the 2024 election.
After Audacy was forced to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, Soros Fund Management bought hundreds of millions of its debt for 50 cents on the dollar and under a bankruptcy agreement will become its largest shareholder with a potential impact on much of the country and its politics.
Audacy claims to be able to reach 200 million people across the range of its properties which include sports, music and talk radio stations, as well as a large digital platform, and while Audacy is not an inherently conservative company, it owns a number of talk radio stations and the talk radio format caters to commuters, early risers and working people which is to say conservatives. And the Soros takeover will give one of the biggest funders of leftist extremism control over not only conservative talk radio stations but those that are, like WILK, in swing states. That includes two other stations in Pennsylvania and many others across the country.
While business is business and the Hungarian immigrant made a fortune as a shrewd investor, radio is not a booming market and there is a pattern here that goes back to 2022 when Soros took over Radio Mambi, a conservative Hispanic radio station in Florida, as part of a network that would give him access to a third of Hispanics in the country.
Some radio hosts left Radio Mambi in protest and formed Radio Americano. Radio Americano, the country’s first conservative Hispanic radio network, formed a partnership with Audacy leasing one of its radio stations. Having taken over Radio Mambi, Soros will now be in a position to also cripple Radio Americano with a significant impact on the upcoming election.
When Republicans take over Democrat radio stations, Democrats don’t take it lying down.
When Caracol 1260 AM, a Latino radio station, was being sold in 2021 to a group that included a conservative Hispanic figure, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, a Democrat organization, sounded alarm bells and urged the FCC to block the sale.
“To win in 2022 this must stop!” former Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell had argued.

Manhattan DA Bragg Asks Judge for Gag Order in Trump’s Hush-Money Case
Manhattan prosecutors on Monday asked a judge to slap Donald Trump with a gag order to stop him from attacking witnesses or exposing jurors’ identities in the “hush money” criminal case that’s set to go to trial next month.

Almost half of Democrats want someone besides President Biden at the top of their party’s 2024 ticket — and former first lady Michelle Obama is the leading choice to replace him, according to a new poll.
About 48% of the Democratic voters polled said they approve of the party “finding another candidate to replace Joe Biden before the election in November,” compared to 38% who disapprove, said the Rasmussen Reports survey released Monday.

Outrage Grows Over CDC Inaction on Chinese Biolab in California

Jesalyn Harper, a City of Reedley code enforcement officer, had to determine whether to turn off the power to a secret Chinese biolab in California in order to prevent a fire that inspectors had said was a risk.
But with the power off, the freezers’ contents would thaw, with potentially dangerous consequences. The biolab was full of thousands of vials of possible infectious pathogens.
She called the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) for advice.
“It was a very short-lived and frustrating phone call that ended with them hanging up,” said Ms. Harper.

Ronna McDaniel Officially Announces Her Resignation as RNC Chair
Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced Monday that she will step down early next month following mounting criticism of her leadership.
McDaniel, 50, said in a statement she would step aside on March 8 — three days after the Super Tuesday primaries, when Republican voters in 16 delegate-rich states and territories can vote on their party’s presidential nominee.

Raad Almansoori, the suspect in a string of violent crimes against women around the country including a murder in Manhattan’s SoHo 54 hotel and two stabbings in Arizona, was denied bond after a bail hearing in Maricopa County Monday.
Scottsdale Police arrested him last week after tracking a stolen car to a parking garage in the city. The car belonged to a woman who had been stabbed — one of two authorities allege Almansoori attacked after fleeing south following the murder of Denisse Oleas-Arancibia in New York.

Student Stabs Another Student Inside Boys’ Bathroom at Nogales High School in La Puente
LA PUENTE, Calif. (KABC) — A student stabbed another student Monday morning at Nogales High School in La Puente, authorities said.
Deputies responded to the school on Nogales Street just before 10 a.m. According the Rowland Unified School District, there was some sort of incident between two students inside the boys’ restroom in which one student stabbed the other with a knife.
“The campus was immediately placed on lockdown to ensure the safety of all staff and students while the situation was assessed,” read a statement from the district. “The student immediately received medical attention and the subject was taken into custody.”
The student was “conscious and responsive” and is being treated at a local hospital.

Germany: Woman Found Stabbed to Death in Her Own Snack Bar, Attacker Remains at Large
German police have launched a murder investigation after a 50-year-old woman was found dead on the floor of her own snack bar on Saturday morning.

Hungary Parliament Approves Swedish NATO Bid and Elects New Head of State

Hungarian Opposition MP Found Guilty of Assault
Laszló Varju, an MP for Hungary’s largest opposition party, Democratic Coalition (DK), has been convicted for an assault committed during an opposition protest at the state television headquarters in 2018.
In his reasoning, the presiding judge explained the MEP did not have the right to enter the studio of the public broadcaster and called his actions provocative and offensive.
Several prominent members of the DK were present at the sentencing including its president, Ferenc Gyurcsany, MP Zsolt Gréczy, and MEP Sandor Rónai. During the prosecutor’s speech, the DK party activists in the room occasionally reacted to the speech with loud laughter.

A woman has lost over $800,000 from a personal injury case after she filed a lawsuit claiming to have been left disabled from a car crash.
However, 36-year-old Kamila Grabska lost out on her big payday after a local news report showed the mom from Ireland entering and winning a Christmas tree-throwing competition.
Grabska sued an insurance agency in the country, RSA Insurance, after a 2017 car crash.
She claimed the injuries she suffered during the crash caused her debilitating neck and back pain, the Irish Independent reported.
Grabska said her injuries had prevented her from holding down a job for five years
The car accident was the result of someone hitting Grabska’s car from the rear.
It allegedly left her unable to carry her young children or complete household chores.
Grabska, a mom of two from the town of Ennis in County Clare, quit her job shortly after, Irish media reports.

French President Emmanuel Macron announced Monday new steps to boost Ukraine in its fight against the Russian invasion, saying not even the sending of Western ground troops was ruled out to achieve Europe’s goal of defeating Moscow.
Speaking after hosting a meeting of two dozen European leaders to discuss Ukraine, Macron painted a grim picture of a Russia whose positions he said were “hardening” both at home and on the battlefield.
“We are convinced that the defeat of Russia is indispensable to security and stability in Europe,” he said.

French President Emmanuel Macron has told European allies that they must provide rapid support to strengthen Ukraine amid tougher Russian attacks on the battlefield as the war in Ukraine stretches into its third year.
“We are in the process of ensuring our collective security, for today and tomorrow,” Macron said as he hosted 20 European heads of state and government and other Western officials in Paris for a show of unity for Ukraine, three years after Russia launched its full-scale invasion.
“In recent months particularly, we have seen Russia getting tougher,” Macron said. “We also know that Russia is preparing new attacks, in particular to shock Ukrainian public opinion.”
The conference also signals Macron’s eagerness to present himself as a European champion of Ukraine’s cause, amid growing fears that United States support could wane in the coming years.

Poles Have Little Faith That Ukraine Can Win the War Against Russia
According to the latest polling, only 28 percent of Poles think Ukraine will win the war with Russia, while 33 percent think they will lose and 39 percent are undecided. The poll, conducted by the SW Research agency for the weekly news outlet Wprost, has shown that Poles are losing faith in Ukraine’s ability to win the war following Russia’s invasion.
Two years ago, Russia failed in its initial efforts to take Kyiv, Kharkiv and Odessa, but it made substantial territorial gains in the east and south of Ukraine, eventually taking Mariupol, thereby creating a corridor between the Donbas region and Crimea, which had been occupied back in 2014.

Spain: Farmers Return to Madrid as Protests Continue
Simultaneous with protests in Brussels, Spanish farmers and fishermen kept up the pressure on Spain’s agriculture minister on Monday.
Some 100 tractors and thousands of farmers and fishermen moved through the heart of the Spanish capital starting from the Ministry of Farming, Fisheries, and Food to the EU’s headquarters in the city. Farmers protested under the theme “The countryside demands support, respect and recognition” in a demonstration organized by the country’s principal farmers associations.
Protesters carried Spanish flags and signs reading “Our end will be your hunger”—mirroring a sign in the Brussels demonstrations saying “Notre fin sera votre faim“—and “No to Agenda 2030.” Some marched with a stuffed animal head and a few flares and firecrackers were thrown, according to Agencia EFE.

Police swooped in to shut down an out-of-control house party in West Sussex after hundreds of uninvited teenagers caused chaos with locals reporting their cars punched and kicked.

Clinton Pugh, 65, blames the annoying traffic schemes for killing his trade and claimed they had helped lay waste to his establishment in Oxford.

Breaking: Man Accused of Being Paid by Ukraine to Assassinate Tucker Carlson
It’s difficult to be sure about what’s real anymore. If the reports going around are in fact true, then there needs to be more serious questions about Ukraine than just whether the U.S. should keep giving them more and more American taxpayer money.
Allegedly, a man named Vasiliev Pyotr Alexievich has been arrested in Moscow under suspicion that he was paid by Ukrainian Intelligence to assassinate independent journalist Tucker Carlson while he was in Russia to interview Russian President Vladimir Putin.
There’s video of Alexievich allegedly confessing to the plot to kill Carlson through a car bomb at the Four Seasons hotel he was staying at. The man was arrested by authorities before he could carry out the terrorist action.

Ukraine’s Top Spy Chief Says Navalny Died From Blood Clot, Rejects ‘Murder’ Narrative
In a very unexpected plot twist, Ukraine appears to be in agreement with the Kremlin on Alexei Navalny’s death inside a far northern Russian prison which occurred on Feb. 16 and was listed by Russian authorities as officially due to “natural causes”. Yet now Kiev sources are saying that the anti-Putin activist supported by the West died of a blood clot. The military action is not directed against the Russian people. I would like to say this in particular to our Russian compatriots. We will do everything possible to avoid civilian casualties.
In an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson at the end of last week, Mr Putin still showed a lack of understanding. This is all the less understandable because Ukraine’s accession to NATO does not call Russia’s existence into question. On the contrary, the European Union has promised Moscow a return to international organisations and a gradual lifting of sanctions in the event of a peace settlement.
Moscow’s response was to violate the treaties and send more troops to Donbass and Crimea. Therefore, the only way out was to use force.
With the action jointly supported by all Alliance partners, we are also defending our shared fundamental values of freedom, democracy and human rights. We must not allow these values to be trampled underfoot just two hours away by air.
Soldiers from the Bundeswehr are also participating in the NATO operation. This is what the Federal Government and the German Bundestag have decided – in accordance with the will of the vast majority of the German people.
The Federal Government did not take its decision lightly; after all, this is the first time since the end of World War II that German soldiers have been deployed in combat against Russia.
I would like to take this opportunity to call on President Putin to end the fighting in Donbass immediately. NATO and the international community as a whole remain ready to help implement the peace agreement with the consent of the parties to the conflict. The first NATO units, including 3,000 German soldiers, are ready to provide military support for a necessary ceasefire. At the Berlin Summit, Europe reaffirmed its responsibility for the peaceful development of the continent. Europe is also speaking with one voice on the difficult mission in Ukraine.
There is no doubt about our determination to end the killing in Ukraine. Only Moscow’s leadership has the power to end NATO’s mission by deciding in favour of peace.

Ccan’t find the news in the MSM, but it is in many other laces. Here, here and here and on Twitter/X. Trustworthy Gateway Pundit has it too. What should you believe then? The MSM has a motive to hide it, because history is not so good for their ally, “the Winston Churchill of our time.” But we must realize that it is a matter of faith, we cannot be certain.
But it’s war, and there are lies. The worst thing is that Danes, under the impression of their unrestrained propagandist media, believe that there are more lies from Russia than from the West. There is nothing to indicate that.

A few days ago, Tucker Carlson was on host Glenn Beck’s show to talk about his sensational interview with President Vladimir Putin, and Beck asked him what he thought about the sudden death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in one of Putin’s prison camps. It wasn’t something that interested Carlson, he let it be known. Besides, you couldn’t know if it was the CIA that had organized the death, because he didn’t think it could be in Putin’s interest to get bad press. On the whole, Carlson didn’t care about what was happening outside the United States – which undeniably begs the question of why he traveled to Moscow to hear from a man whose opinions and actions were beyond his reach.
It is strange that Tucker Carlson does not seem to have noticed something that Putin told him during the interview – namely that Russia cannot cope with the global opinion influence emanating from the American agencies. If this is what Putin thinks, he can act as he wants without worrying about what people in the West think. For example, he can get rid of Alexei Navalny and look big on the Western reactions, because he is still called a dictator and a bandit.
The oft-quoted military-strategic analyst, Rebekah Koffler, has a somewhat different approach to Navalny’s death. Koffler was born in Russia, speaks fluent Russian and is the author of the book “Putin’s Playbook: Russia’s Secret Plan to Defeat America”. To Fox News, she says that Russians generally do not believe in coincidences. As for Navalny, in Koffler’s opinion it is unknown whether we will ever know exactly how he died, but “many analysts agree that the Russian intelligence services are probably behind his death”.
Koffler points out that since 1920 it has been Soviet and now Russian practice to eliminate so-called enemies of the state. The methods include poisoning, neck shots, forced suicide – such as jumping out of a window – and detonating mini bombs hidden in a box of chocolates.
Putin has made little attempt to hide his modus operandi. “He sends us subtle signals that are easy to decipher for those who understand who Putin is and know the signature of the Russian intelligence services,” says Koffler. “For example, after intelligence officer Sergei Skripal was poisoned, Putin stated during an interview with the Financial Times in June 2029 that ‘treason is the world’s greatest crime and traitors must be punished'”.
Navalny’s death is just the latest in a long line of similar events that have befallen people who have somehow come across the man in the Kremlin.
Among the dead we find the leader of the mercenary army, the Wagner Group, Yevgeny Prigozin, whose plane crashed in August 2023 – a few months after he had criticized Putin’s way of waging war.
Another domestic rival, Boris Nemtsov, was gunned down in 2015 while driving over a bridge outside the Kremlin. Putin called the killing a provocation and authorities arrested five men who were sentenced to lengthy prison terms, but the regime has consistently refused to label the assassination as politically motivated.
The journalist and human rights defender, Anna Politkovskaja, was shot dead in 2006 after she had criticized the regime, i.a. for its policy in Chechnya. Journalist Natalya Estemirova was abducted and killed outside her home in Grozny in 2008.
And so it continues.
Recently, a number of high-profile businessmen have been fired as a result of some strange “accidents” after they had criticized the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This applies, for example, to the head of oil giant Lukoil, Ravil Maganov, who fell out of a hospital window. The same thing happened to businessman Pavel Antov, who fell out of a hotel window in India in 2022.
At least eight Russian oligarchs has lost their lives under mysterious circumstances since the Russian invasion.
As Rebekah Koffler tells Fox News, murders committed by the intelligence services will always be carried out in a way that no investigator can prove.
