Progressive Dem Ro Khanna Urges Jerome Powell to Cut Rates Now or be ‘Responsible’ for Trump Winning White House

Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell risks clearing the way for Donald Trump to win the presidency in 2024 if he doesn’t immediately start cutting interest rates, a top progressive lawmaker claimed Wednesday.

Ro Khanna, an outspoken California Democrat who has repeatedly blasted Powell over the Fed’s handling of inflation, once again took aim at the top central banker in an X post on Wednesday.

“Powell should cut interest rates now given most of inflation was caused by supply shocks,” wrote Khanna, a member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus.

“If he doesn’t, he may be the person most responsible for the possible return of Trump.”

Arizona Judge: Defamation Lawsuit Against Kari Lake to Move Forward

PHOENIX — Kari Lake is now going to have to prove the charges she leveled against Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer are true if she wants to avoid being found guilty of defaming him.

In an extensive ruling Wednesday, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Jay Adleman said it is clear that the claims made by the failed Republican candidate for governor that Richer had sabotaged the election were not, as her lawyers claim, “mere rhetorical hyperbole.’’

“In point of fact, defendant Lake’s statements regarding improper 19-inch ballots and/or the existence of 300,000 fraudulent ballots may be discerned by a factfinder as either true or false when considered in the light of any available evidence,’’ the judge wrote. “These statement constitute assertions of fact that are actionable under prevailing Arizona law.’’

CDC: 143,233% Surge in Fatal Cancers Among Vaxxed Americans

Official data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has revealed an alarming spike in fatal cancers among Americans who have received Covid mRNA injections.

The data shows that cancer, the leading cause of death in the United States, has been soaring over the past two years.

However, the data shows a correlation between the rise in cancer and the public rollout of Covid mRNA shots.

The U.S. federal government’s own official data confirms that the risk of developing cancer following Covid vaccination increases by a staggering 143,233%.

Christian, Black Scholar Dr Carol Swain Speaks Out After Being Plagiarized Multiple Times by Claudine Gay

Longtime political science professor Dr. Carol Swain spoke out with a new letter on Christmas Day after she was among the many people from whom Harvard President Claudine Gay had plagiarized their work. Swain has called for a “return to sanity” by Harvard University as well as a firing of Gay after her various offenses.

Swain begins her new letter by saying that just a few months ago, “I was invited to apply for a visiting professorship at a major university out west. As part of the application, I had to submit a mandatory diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) statement.”

“It was difficult to write because I believe that all DEI programs should be abolished and that we can achieve diversity without discrimination,” explained Swain. “As I argued in my co-authored book, ‘The Adversity of Diversity,’ DEI programs are divisive, and many, if not all, of the programs violate our civil rights laws, as well as the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment.”

Colorado GOP Asks SCOTUS to Overturn Unprecedented 14th Amendment Ruling, Keep Trump on State’s 2024 Ballot

The Colorado Republican Party petitioned the US Supreme Court on Wednesday to overturn a state Supreme Court ruling that barred former President Donald Trump from appearing on Colorado’s 2024 primary ballot.

“The Republican Party has been irreparably harmed by the decision” to deem Trump, 77, ineligible for the White House, the appeal, filed on behalf of the Colorado GOP by the nonprofit American Center for Law and Justice, states.

“The state has interfered in the primary election by unreasonably restricting the Party’s ability to select its candidates,” the 45-page petition argues. “As a natural and inevitable result, the state has interfered with the Party’s ability to place on the general election ballot the candidate of its choice. And it has done so based on a subjective claim of insurrection the state lacks any constitutional authority to make.”

Federal Judge Rejects James O’Keefe’s First Amendment Claim on Ashley Biden Diary Story

A US District Court judge struck down Project Veritas’ First Amendment claims in the case of Ashley Biden’s abandoned diary, which prosecutors claim was stolen and had been obtained unethically.

Manhattan Judge Analisa Torres rejected the nonprofit organization’s constitutional protection claims last week, saying in the ruling that they were “inconsistent with Supreme Court precedent.” This decision grants criminal prosecutors the ability to see nearly one thousand documents pertaining to the alleged theft of President Biden’s daughter’s personal diary, AP reports.

Fetterman Tells James Carville to ‘Shut the F*** Up’ on Biden Poll Numbers: ‘I’m Not Worried About That’

Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., criticized Democratic strategist James Carville and defended his position on Israel in an interview with Politico.

When asked about former President Trump’s lead over President Biden in multiple polls, Fetterman said he wasn’t concerned, unlike some in his party.

“But that doesn’t really matter,” Fetterman said of the polls in an interview published Wednesday. “There’s a whole lifetime in politics between now and next November as well. I’m not worried about that. And I’m very vocal about this, too, while there are Democrats that are being very critical about the president… I’ll use this [as] another opportunity to tell James Carville to shut the f — — up.”

Florida Democrat Mayor Slammed Over Confederate Monument Removal: ‘Blatant Overreach’

A century-old monument honoring the women of the Confederacy was removed from a Florida park on Wednesday, sparking accusations that the city’s mayor was overstepping her authority.

Nick Howland, a Republican who sits on Jacksonville’s City Council, called Jacksonville Mayor Donna Deegan’s actions to remove the “Women of the Southland” statue from Springfield Park, formally Confederate Park, a “blatant overreach” and an abuse of power.

“Deegan is our Mayor, not our Monarch,” he wrote Wednesday on X. “Waiting until nightfall before taking a backhoe to the Women of the South monument is blatant overreach. This was Council’s decision to make. Regardless of your opinion of the monument, this is abuse of power & disregard for transparency.”

The Maryland Bar Counsel has filed a petition to suspend former Baltimore City State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby’s law license, following alleged misuse of her finances during the COVID-19 pandemic.

A new petition, filed Tuesday, asked the Maryland Supreme Court to immediately suspend Mosby because she was found guilty of a “serious crime” as defined under state ethics rules for lawyers.

‘Global Boiling’: Summer 2023 Didn’t Make America’s Top 10 Hottest, Scientists Reveal

Scientists have just dropped the hammer on green agenda globalists and their corporate media allies for pushing the narrative that the hot summer of 2023 was the result of so-called “global boiling.”

The media relentlessly pushed claims that the summer of 2023 was the hottest on record while linking these claims to the alleged “climate crisis.”

The left-wing Guardian said a record was set in Phoenix, Arizona during a “hellishly hot summer” with the most hot days over 110°F.

The BBC’s report on Phoenix took the opportunity to add that heatwaves are becoming more frequent and intense, “because of human-induced climate change.”

It is often hellishly hot in the desert state of Arizona, however.

In fact, last summer was the warmest in Phoenix going back to 1933.

But strip out the heat created in the ever-expanding concrete and tarmacked metropolis, and it turns out the area was only the 11th warmest on record.

Dr. Roy Spencer at the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) argues that, if the record hot summer in Phoenix was due to “global warming”, as claimed in almost all media, then it would show up at weather stations surrounding the city.

Google’s New Patent: Using Machine Learning to Identify “Misinformation” on Social Media

Google has filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for a tool that would use machine learning (ML, a subset of AI) to detect what Google decides to consider as “misinformation” on social media.

Google already uses elements of AI in its algorithms, programmed to automate censorship on its massive platforms, and this document indicates one specific path the company intends to take going forward.

The patent’s general purpose is to identify information operations (IO) and then the system is supposed to “predict” if there is “misinformation” in there.

Man Arrested in Stabbing at New York’s Grand Central Terminal Charged With Hate Crimes

NEW YORK (AP) — A New York City man has been charged with hate crimes following the Christmas Day stabbing of two teenage tourists from Paraguay at a restaurant inside Grand Central Terminal, authorities said.

Esteban Esono-Asue, 36, also known as Steven Hutcherson, made derogatory comments about white people shortly before the unprovoked attack on the 14- and 16-year-old girls Monday morning, according to a criminal complaint.

He was being held without bail Wednesday after pleading not guilty Tuesday to attempted murder and assault as hate crimes, and child endangerment.

According to the complaint, Esono-Asue initially was asked to leave the Tartinery dining area by an employee, who said Esono-Asue responded by saying: “I’ll leave, I don’t want the white man to get at you,” or something similar.

A second employee said he made another anti-white comment after he approached her and asked for a table to place an order.

“I don’t want to sit with Black people. I want to sit with the crackers,” he told the second employee, according to the complaint.

Shortly after he was seated and given water, Esono-Asue walked over to a table of individuals, who appeared to be white, pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed one of the girls in the back, the second employee told authorities.

Michigan Supreme Court Rejects Bid to Remove Trump From 2024 Ballot

The Michigan Supreme Court denied an attempt Wednesday to remove Donald Trump from the state’s 2024 ballot, bolstering the chances that the US Supreme Court will soon hear an appeal of a Colorado ruling that disqualified the former president from that state’s primary.

In a brief order, Michigan’s high court said it was “not persuaded that the questions presented should be reviewed by this Court” after an earlier appeal sought to make Trump ineligible under the Insurrection Clause of the 14th Amendment.

The plaintiffs claimed Trump’s efforts to overturn former Vice President Joe Biden’s victory that culminated in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot constituted evidence that he unconstitutionally “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” and may no longer hold office.

New Mexico’s Two-Tier Criminal Justice System Overlooks Law-Breaking Gun Control Group… So Far

Last week, we shared the insane story of a gun control group in New Mexico that managed to run afoul of a lot of gun control laws. All of these were laws that the group supports, and even had a hand in helping some of them to pass. Now, we’re seeing that they’ve likely committed a number of felonies and have even admitted to violating some of the laws they helped pass.

But state and federal authorities have done nothing so far. For some reason.

To prevent any sort of disruption, the NYPD is deploying thousands of officers to the area — both in uniform and in plainclothes.

Prosecutor Says People Who Rob Stores ‘Should Expect to be Shot’

An Ohio prosecutor has indicted a smoke shop manager for allegedly shooting to death a 16-year-old boy during a robbery attempt — but warned that people “should expect to be shot” if they target stores.

“There is simply no justification for shooting at someone as they are running away,” Powers said in a statement.

“However, I want to make perfectly clear — these retail thefts will not be tolerated. If you try to rob a store, you should expect to be shot,” she added.

Vivek Ramaswamy Suggests Only ‘Low IQ’ Candidates Spend on TV Ads After Report His Campaign Will No Longer Buy Airtime

Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy suggested Tuesday that only “low IQ” political candidates spend money on TV ads after a report indicated that his campaign will no longer spend money on TV spots with just weeks to go before the first nominating contests.

The Ramaswamy campaign had stopped buying cable ads and currently has no TV ad reservation booked ahead of the Jan. 15 Iowa caucuses and the Jan. 23 New Hampshire primary, NBC News first reported.

“That’s inaccurate — we didn’t stop all TV spending,” Tricia McLaughlin, Ramaswamy’s campaign spokeswoman, told The Post.

Ramaswamy, however, dismissed the importance of TV ad spending in a tweet Tuesday, acknowledging that his campaign is “doing it differently.”

43% of Canadians Say Islam Poses Harmful Influence on Society

More Canadians than ever view Islam as damaging to Canadian society, a new poll reveals.

The survey from the Angus Reid Institute, conducted online from Nov. 24 to Dec. 1 among 3,749 Canadian adults, asked respondents to rate eight faith groups on whether they were benefitting or damaging to Canada and Canadian society.

The results show that Canadians are largely consistent in their views of religions since the last time the survey was conducted in 2022, with one notable exception.

Islam, which was already seen as the most damaging religion by a plurality of Canadians in 2022, has seen its negative perception increase significantly in 2023.

Canadian Health Care Leaves Patients Frozen in Line

More than one-fourth of Americans receive taxpayer-funded health coverage through Medicaid or the Children’s Health Insurance Program, according to the latest federal estimates.

But that “free” coverage has a significant cost. Medicaid beneficiaries must wait longer for care than those with private insurance. A study from 2021 found that Medicaid patients waited 1.3 days longer than commercially insured ones for primary care.

According to another study, Medicaid beneficiaries were 1.6 times less likely to successfully schedule a primary care appointment than those with primary insurance—and 3.3 times less likely to secure an appointment with a specialist.

Such waits are endemic to public health insurance. A new research paper from the Fraser Institute, a Canadian think tank, shows what happens when everyone within a country is trapped in a public health insurance system.

This year, Canadian patients faced a median wait of 27.7 weeks for medically necessary treatment from a specialist after being referred by a general practitioner. That’s over six months—the longest ever recorded. It’s a slight increase from last year’s median wait—and a 198% increase from the 9.3-week median wait that patients faced in 1993, the year that Fraser began tracking wait times.

EU May Use COVID Cash Accounting Trick to Avoid Orban’s Veto on Ukraine Funding: Report

The European Union is reportedly preparing to use a Covid-era accounting trick to subvert the democratic process and skirt Hungary’s veto on continuing to send billions to Ukraine.

While the EU is typically bound by the principle of unanimity from member states on major foreign policy decisions, meaning that all countries within the bloc must agree, Brussels is reportedly considering plans to use an emergency measure to send an additional €20 billion in funding to Ukraine after a four-year €50 billion package was blocked by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban earlier this month.

The accounting trick, which was deployed during the during the Chinese coronavirus crisis to subsidise lockdowns and stay-at-home diktats, involves member states announcing commitments to the EU budget and thereby enabling Brussels to borrow against the guarantees from capital markets.

EU Plans to Get Around Own Rules to Fund Ukraine

The European Union has reportedly come up with a new plan to circumvent its own rules in order to give further financial assistance to Ukraine. Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban was the only leader at the last EU summit to block €50 billion worth of EU support that Brussels wants to disburse to Kyiv over the next four years. Rather than abiding by the laws governing the bloc, the EU is plotting a ‘Plan B’ to achieve this, should Hungary maintain its veto at the planned February 1 emergency summit.

This scheme would involve the European Commission borrowing up to €20 billion on capital markets for Kyiv next year, made possible by participating member states issuing guarantees to the EU budget. The precise terms are still under discussion and the final amount would be set according to Ukraine’s needs, writes the Financial Times, citing EU officials.

Germany May Only Hold Out in Battle for a Few Hours Due to a Shortage of Military Equipment and Personnel — Focus

Germany finds itself in a precarious situation due to its limited military resources, especially after Ukraine left Germany without the necessary military equipment. According to the magazine Focus, even with the popularity of the current Minister of Defense, Boris Pistorius, the situation in the German army has deteriorated to the point where it is now less equipped than it was in 2022.

The article emphasizes that at the beginning of the Ukrainian conflict, the German army was practically helpless, and with time, the situation has only gotten worse. Retired Colonel Ralph Tille warned that in the event of aggression against Germany or NATO countries, the German army would only be able to hold out in battle for a few hours, much less than previously assumed.

German Police Detain Man Over Christmas Cathedral ‘Islamist’ Terror Threat

BERLIN (AP) — German authorities say they have detained a man in connection with a reported threat to Cologne Cathedral over the holiday period.

Police searched the cathedral with sniffer dogs just before Christmas, and Christmas Eve worshippers faced security checks to get into midnight Mass there. They didn’t specify the threat, but German news agency dpa said authorities were responding to indications of a possible attack by Islamic extremists, without citing a specific source.

Cologne police said they took precautions over Christmas even though the information they had pointed to a threat on New Year’s Eve.

On Tuesday, police said that an apartment in Wesel, near the Dutch border, was searched on Christmas Eve and five men were detained. Four were then freed, but a police statement said that a 30-year-old Tajik man on whom authorities have unspecified security information was still being held in the interests of preventing danger.

UK Law Reform Gives Shoplifters ‘Get Out of Jail Free Card’

Conservative Party officials will spend the months ahead of next year’s election trying to persuade voters they will be tough on crime. Yet by the government’s own admission, its plan to scrap short sentences will keep thousands of shoplifters out of jail.

It is already so rare for thieves to be apprehended by police officers that major retailers say criminals feel they have a “licence to shoplift.” Public order has degraded to such an extent that businesses that can afford it are turning to private detectives instead.

Even those who are caught and taken to court will now be less likely to end up behind bars as ministers attempt to tackle prison overcrowding. A new bill will see sentences of below 12 months replaced with suspended sentences under which convicted criminals will carry out community work.

A Russian Drone and Artillery Attack Kills 6 in Ukraine and Knocks Out Power in a Major City

Russia fired almost 50 Shahed drones at targets in Ukraine and shelled a train station where more than 100 civilians were gathered to catch a train to Kyiv, Ukrainian officials said Wednesday. The barrages killed at least five people and knocked out power in most of the southern city of Kherson.

The aerial barrage came a day after Ukrainian warplanes damaged a Russian ship moored in the Black Sea off Crimea as both sides’ soldiers struggle to make much progress along the front line of the 22-month war.

Overnight, the Kremlin’s forces launched an artillery and drone bombardment of the Kherson region just as some 140 civilians were waiting for a train at the region’s capital city of the same name, according to Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko. The shelling killed one policeman and injured two other police officers, as well as two civilians.

More than 100 people who were waiting for the train at the time of the attack arrived in Kyiv on Wednesday morning, national rail operator Ukrzaliznytsia said.

Chinese Chess Champion Stripped of Title After Being Accused of Cheating, Pooping in Hotel Bathtub: ‘Bad Character’

Chinese chess was engulfed in turmoil earlier this week when a national champion was stripped of his title following unsavory allegations involving cheating in the sport.

Xiangqi is the official title of what is known as Chinese chess. It is the most popular board game in China, and it dates all the way back to the first century B.C., according to some historians.

The creators of the game probably did not prepare for what the Chinese Xiangqi Association (CXA) had to deal with on Monday.

The organization announced it was stripping Yan Chenglong of his title of “Xiangqi King” over cheating allegations and “extremely bad character,” according to the Agence France-Press (AFP).

Officials addressed the 48-year-old champion’s behavior in the post-game celebrations.

“Yan consumed alcohol with others in his room on the night of the 17th, and then he defecated in the bathtub of the room he was staying in on the 18th, in an act that damaged hotel property, violated public order and good morals, had a negative impact on the competition and the event of Xiangqi, and was of extremely bad character,” the CXA said in a statement.

The organization then had to address allegations that Yan was cheating during the tournament with the use of anal beads.

Adams Slaps Restrictions on Migrant Buses Coming to NYC From Texas as Numbers Rise

New York City Mayor Eric Adams on Wednesday announced new restrictions on charter buses from Texas bringing migrants to the “sanctuary” city in an effort to curb the numbers of migrants that have hit the city since last year.

The order also requires buses to arrive between 8:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. between Monday and Friday. Such buses are also required to drop off at one particular spot.

If buses do not comply, it would result in a class B misdemeanor, with penalties including three months’ imprisonment and up to a $500 fine for individuals and $2,000 for corporations. Buses could also be impounded by the NYPD.

Decolonization is Colonialism

Those who define the oppressors and the oppressed get to perpetrate the genocide.

Whether the Jews and Arab Muslims in the Middle East, the Sinhalese and Tamils in Sri Lanka, Hispanics and Indians in South America, or the Chinese in Indonesia, decolonization is a euphemism for the majoritarian oppression of minority groups in the name of liberation.

Western anti-colonialism allied with Third World nationalist tribal movements in the name of opposing imperialism and colonialism. Rather than offering equality and human rights, these movements routinely launched programs of ‘decolonization’ which defined citizenship in the newly liberated nation around the ethnicity, language and culture of the majority. Everything from access to higher education to property ownership was reserved for members of their tribe.

Western leftists cheered as ‘democratic socialist’ people’s republics spread this program of ethnic, religious and racial repression across Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Many of them were indeed democratic, anchored by the votes of an ethnic, racial or religious bloc, but what they lacked was any standard of fairness or justice beyond majority rule.

Faced with riots, massacres and civil wars, the Left blamed the horrors on the relics of western colonialism. It justified the mistreatment of Jews in Algeria or the Chinese in Indonesia because they were more westernized and successful, and had prospered under European rule’. Third world nationalists argued that the minorities had it coming because, being better educated, they had been complicit in “colonialism” and the purges were the revenge of the oppressed majority.

Left unsaid was that the only reason the minorities had turned to the colonial regimes was because they had been persecuted and denied civil rights under the old tribal regimes…

  1. Migrants killed and robbed the mother of a SVO participant: body parts were found in the sewer

“Saleswoman Larisa Zalyalova, who was 46 years old, met a citizen of Uzbekistan, Yuldoshboyev Yuldoshboy, who was 22 years old. Larisa was so immersed in the “oriental fairy tale” with the romantic Yuldoshboy that she even decided to leave her husband.

However, Yuldoshboy, despite his young age, was much more pragmatic and saw Larisa, who was in love, as a source of his funding.

One day Yuldoshboy told his Larisa a tearful story that his mother was in a coma and some 450 thousand rubles were needed for an operation. Larisa, who was in love, did not sense a catch and borrowed this money from her son, who at that time was in the Northern Military District zone, especially since Yuldoshboy promised to return this money, but apparently changed his mind.

On December 25, Yuldoshboy and his hardworking brother Okhonjon met Larisa near the entrance where she rented an apartment (after all, she had already left her husband), supposedly to return the money. The foreign experts decided not to return the money and simply quietly killed Larisa (the neighbors did not hear anything), disconnected her arms, legs and head, collected valuables and threw the body into the sewer.

Further, migrants who were in the Russian Federation illegally (not an obstacle to the “oriental fairy tale”) carefully left, according to various sources, to Uzbekistan or Kyrgyzstan.
“In the published video from surveillance cameras from Naberezhnye Chelny (we won’t post this, of course), in which two “new Russians” carry out the dismembered corpse of the mother of an SVO soldier in bags, what is most impressive is the equanimity.

Everything is done clearly, calmly, and efficiently. No shock, drunken hysterics and mental tossing. They even let the aunt in at the exit from the entrance. At the same time, it was not a random person who was killed during a bandit raid, in a hurry and in a fever. No. The woman was in a relationship with one of the “new Russians”. They robbed and killed a person who trusted him, chopped up the body like firewood, put it in bags, took it out, threw it away, and flew home to their sunny Central Asian homeland. All.

  2. Re: “WEF Member: Reducing Human Population by 90% Would Help Achieve Net Zero”.

I look forward to hearing that Jane Goodall will sacrifice herself first, in order to show us all an example.

PS Why is she in the wretched WEF? I doubt she has a degree in economics.

  3. Jane Goodall is an “expert” in primates ,the WEF does not consider us the average person really human ,we are all lower primates in their eyes in need of their wise guidance .That is why we should eat bugs live in shoebox apartment , not travel too far or make decisions without WEF micromanaging our every move.

  4. Netanyahu is over, after 2 months (or maybe tens of years) of war the israel state is full dictatorship in endless warstate, but he has no way out of it, he will never resign as he has too many verdicts pending on his head and centuries of jail time to spend. he will continue to frighten everybody just in order to continue his personal ordeal. he is openly mouthing to flood every country with murder and refugees until he is not stopped and he is by no means cheating. but he cannot win the war, he is in impossible battle, anyway he will send too many to die.

    • Those are rookie number ole Bibi is whacking, if he wants to be taken seriously he needs to really pump up those numbers. Bomb Gaza into a parking lot and we might get it muzzy free, until none are left.

      • “Those are rookie number ole Bibi is whacking, if he wants to be taken seriously he needs to really pump up those numbers. Bomb Gaza into a parking lot and we might get it muzzy free, until none are left.”

        Precisely.

History keeps repeating itself and only the names and dates change….BECAUSE only the names and dates change.

“Far too much time, energy and blood has been expended in the Middle east. It’s time to take decisive action. We need to take out the terror regimes in Iran, Iraq and Syria. Then say to the Palestinians: “You have two choices: You can live as civilized citizens or you can be next.”” —psst! Magazine (2002)

        • I remember the disastrous campaign in Fallujah after my Blackwater friends were ambushed and hung from the bridge there, the hearts and minds brigade sent good Marines and army folks into that meatgrinder in order to do urban fighting so as not to create collateral damage, after weeks of fighting, and thousands of casualties, ole Mattis finally pulled out and litem up with willie pete and bombed the hell out them and used arty as direct fire weapons. It worked. If your enemy is entrenched in a city, bomb it to complete rubble and call it a day.
