Biden Admits Prices ‘Too High’ But Blames Sellers for 18% Inflation

WASHINGTON — President Biden acknowledged Monday that prices are still “too high” and argued that companies should lower them after an 18% jump in consumer costs since he took office.

“We know that prices are still too high for too many things — that times are still too tough for too many families,” the 81-year-old said near the White House.

Germany: Scholz Suggests Extending Debt Brake Another Year Against Objections

Germany’s traffic light coalition on Monday, November 27th, presented their suggested solution to the country’s budget woes in a supplementary budget that would, for the fourth year in a row, suspend the debt brake, along with cutting spending by €15.1 billion and borrowing an additional €43.2 billion. The debt brake is intended to limit the ability of the government to take on new debt.

The proposal, which will have to be approved by the Bundestag, is sure to prompt additional debate as even the FDP, part of Chancellor Scholz’s coalition government, is opposing extending the suspension of the debt brake.

With Germany Facing €60 Billion Budget Crisis After Top Court Ruling, the AfD Party Offers 5 Budget Cut Proposals

Last week, the Federal Constitutional Court ruled the left-liberal German government’s scheme to transfer €60 billion of unused coronavirus loans to the Climate Fund (KTF) was unconstitutional. The government, which was relying on the funds to finance its budget, is now facing a budgetary crisis. In turn, the Alternative for Germany (AfD) has proposed five areas where the government can make budget cuts, outlined in the bottom half of this article, with a focus on deporting migrants, ending weapon shipments to Ukraine, and shutting down the green energy transition.

The German Constitutional Court ruling on the supplementary budget has put Germany’s left-liberal traffic light coalition in deeper trouble than it originally estimated. While Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD) said after the ruling was handed down a week ago that deliberations on the 2024 federal budget would continue as planned, the final consultation scheduled for Thursday has now been postponed.

Biden Pushes $106 Billion Aid Package for Ukraine, Israel, Taiwan

Democrat President Joe Biden and his administration are pushing for billions of dollars in taxpayer money to fund an aid package for three foreign nations.

Biden and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) are trying to get the funding for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan approved by Congress during the first week of December.

The Biden admin has so far failed to push through its supplementary $106B “national security” proposal.

According to Schumer, “the biggest holdup” to passing the package is GOP insistence on policy changes regarding U.S. border security.

Biden Apologizes to Muslim Leaders for Questioning Death Tolls Provided by Hamas

Democrat President Joe Biden has issued a groveling apology to Muslim-American leaders after he publicly questioned the accuracy of death toll figures for Gaza that were provided by the Islamic terrorist group Hamas.

Biden openly questioned the number of causalities in Gaza during a press conference on October 25.

The figures Biden questioned are those reported by Hamas terrorists.

Hamas has been found to greatly exaggerate the numbers and even includes its own terrorists as “civilians.”

Chicago-Area High School Provides Segregated Classes for Black and Hispanic Students

A high school in Evanston, Illinois, home of Northwestern University, has embarked on a new plan to try to get grades up for minority students: segregation. The classes, segregated by race for black and Hispanic students, are called “affinity classes,” and while they are not enforced, they were offered for black and Hispanic students only.

The classes have non-white teachers and no white students are permitted in the courses. Students can decide to opt in to these courses, and many do. The Wall Street Journal reports that almost 200 students signed up for math and writing courses in 2023. The idea is that black and Hispanic students will do better in classes if they are separated from white students.

Education Chief Mercilessly Mocked for Misstating Reagan’s Famous Government ‘Here to Help’ Line

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona might want to take a refresher course in history.

Moderna is Caught Monitoring Online Speech

It has come to light that Moderna, a leading pharmaceutical company, just like it was revealed of Pfizer earlier this year, has been actively involved in monitoring and influencing vaccine-related narratives on social media and other platforms.

This is being carried out through a collaboration with Public Good Projects (PGP), a non-profit organization funded by the drug industry, as well as former law enforcement and public health officials. NYPD Cops Leave Force in Alarming Rate — Over 2,500 Turned in Badges So Far in 2023

New York’s Finest continue to bolt from the job at an alarming rate, according to new data obtained by The Post — and some cops worry the exodus will only get worse because the city plans to cancel the next five Police Academy classes, shrinking the nation’s largest police force to the smallest its been in decades.

A total of 2,516 NYPD cops have left so far this year, the fourth highest number in the past decade and 43% more than the 1,750 who hightailed it in 2018, before the pandemic and crime spikes hit the city, NYPD pension data show.

The number of cops quitting before they reach the 20 years required to receive their full pensions also skyrocketed from 509 in 2020 to 1,040 so far this year — an alarming 104% increase, the data show.

San Francisco’s Rampant Drugs, Homelessness Shock New Resident: ‘This is a Disgrace’

Grime and crime are back in San Francisco just weeks after the cleanup for Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit earlier this month, one new resident says, and he’s stunned by what he has seen.

“This is a disgrace. I’ve been to 50-plus countries and traveled the world. I’ve never seen anything like this,” Jeremy Bernier told FOX News’ Carley Shimkus on Monday.

Soros Group Cut $250,000 Check to Anti-Israel Charity Accused of Hamas Terror Ties

An anti-Israel group that has been accused of funding Hamas and other Palestinian terror factions received a boost from the philanthropy of Democratic megadonor George Soros before helping to lead protests across the United States against the Jewish state.

The Soros-backed Foundation to Promote Open Society, a major liberal grantmaker in the billionaire’s Open Society Foundations empire, steered $250,000 in 2022 to Education for Just Peace in the Middle East, a charity that has reportedly fiscally sponsored the Palestinian Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions National Committee, according to newly released grant records. That same charity, which is also known as the U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, is one of several pro-ceasefire rally organizers sympathizing with Hamas, whose Oct. 7 attack against Israel has since killed over 1,200 people.

Suspect in Shooting of 3 Palestinian Students in Vermont Said He Was Waiting for Agents to Arrest Him, Police Say

The suspect accused of shooting and wounding three 20-year-old men of Palestinian descent in Burlington, Vermont, opened a door Sunday to find federal agents who were searching for him and told the agents he’d been waiting for them, officials said. Jason Eaton, 48, then told the agents from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives that he’d like an attorney, Burlington Police Chief Jon Murad told reporters Monday.

Eaton was arrested and has been charged with three counts of attempted murder in the second degree in Saturday night’s shooting of three college students who were attending a Thanksgiving holiday gathering near the University of Vermont campus. In court Monday morning, he pleaded not guilty and was ordered held without bail.

Wearing an inmate’s uniform, Eaton appeared in court remotely on a large television screen set up near the defense table. He said little during the brief court appearance, confirming his name when asked by the judge.

The judge said bail would be revisited at a later date.

The Dead Al Qaeda Hippie Who Went Viral on TikTok

by Daniel Greenfield

Eight years after he was taken out by a drone strike in Waziristan, Adam Gadahn went viral on TikTok. Had the former Al Qaeda terrorist been alive to see TikTok lefties praising his, “Letter to America”, written in Osama bin Laden’s name, he would have been absolutely thrilled.

Raised by California hippies, Adam Gadahn’s message clicked with TikTok teens because he used to be one of them. After experimenting with heavy metal to rebel against his dad’s terrible folk music (“So tell us what the sign will be/Of the end of the age we know/War and famine everywhere/There’s no place left to go” he went for the ultimate in death metal.

We love nothing more than “slitting the throats of the infidels” he bragged in his videos in a fake Arabic accent right out of ‘Team America World Police’. “You and your people will, Allah willing, experience things, which will make you forget all about the horrors of September 11.”

Al Qaeda embraced the previously useless hipster because he promised to teach them how to reach Americans. But the ‘Azzam the American’ experiment never took off. Even after he stopped wearing a burka-like disguise over his square wire rimmed glasses, and wound a tablecloth around his head instead, he never stopped looking like a dork in a costume.

Adam never belonged in Pakistan, he belonged in ‘Fast Times at Ridgemont High’ or ‘Napoleon Dynamite’: his blank thousand yard stare had been perfected by getting high, not in Koran study…

Former UK Principal, Investigated Over COVID Social Media Posts, Takes His Employer to Tribunal

Old sins, as they say, cast long shadows — and even though the pandemic was abandoned a year or so ago, the way it was handled, and the impact it has had and still has on people’s lives continues to haunt the authorities in those countries that are considered to be democratic.

One of those who refuses to let the often shocking behavior against critics go, is a former UK headmaster, Mike Fairclough, who has decided to pursue legal action.

Announcing the proceedings that are to unfold before the Employment Tribunal, Fairclough explains that his opposition to lockdowns, vaccinating children and forcing them to wear masks — and at the time, he stood alone among his 20,000+ headmaster peers in the UK — caused him countless problems.

Because of his social media posts, Fairclough was even investigated by counter-terrorism agencies. And his employer launched numerous probes.

France: “Justice for Thomas”: Raucous Protests in Lyon Over Racially Motivated Stabbing

Raucous protests are taking place in Lyon tonight as part of the ‘Justice For Thomas’ movement in honor of a 16-year-old French teen who was killed in a racially motivated stabbing.

As we previously highlighted, during a dance party at the Crepol village hall last weekend, a gang of Islamists arrived announcing “we are here to stab white people” before an attacked that left 17 people injured and Thomas dead.

The incident was initially reported as a “brawl” but subsequently turned out to be an anti-white hate crime.

After similar protests in Romans-sur-Isère over the weekend, during which riot police were dispatched, another demonstration is taking place in Lyon, France’s third largest city.

France: Six Teenagers on Trial for Alleged Role in Beheading of Teacher Who Showed Muhammad Pictures in Class

PARIS (AP) — Six teenagers go on trial Monday in Paris for their alleged roles in the beheading of a teacher who showed caricatures of the prophet of Islam to his class, a killing that led authorities to reaffirm France’s cherished rights of expression and secularism.

Samuel Paty, a history and geography teacher, was killed on Oct. 16, 2020, near his school in a northwest Paris suburb by an 18-year-old of Chechen origin who had become radicalized. The attacker was in turn shot dead by police.

Paty’s name was disclosed on social media after a class debate on free expression during which he showed caricatures published by the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, which triggered a newsroom massacre by extremists in January 2015.

Germany Today Destroying Itself Faster Than Hitler Did — Hungary’s Top MP

Germany is destroying itself faster than under Adolf Hitler’s rule, while the UN is nothing but a front company for propaganda, Hungarian parliamentary speaker Laszlo Kover has said.

The senior MP, well-known for repeatedly making various controversial statements, produced a flurry of inflammatory remarks on Thursday when he spoke at a sovereignty-protection forum held in the central Hungarian town of Jaszapati. The speaker launched a bitter attack on Germany, comparing its current leadership to that of the Hitler era.

Italian Rabbis Decry Pope Francis’ Handling of the Gaza Conflict, Call Christian-Jewish Relations Into Question

Tension has emerged between the Italian Jewish community and the Vatican after Pope Francis received two delegations at the Vatican on Wednesday: family members of people captured by the Hamas terrorist organization and relatives of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails. Following the meetings, Pope Francis asked Christians around the world to pray for both sides, because everyone is suffering in the conflict. However, the Holy See’s efforts were not appreciated by Italy’s Jewish community.

The Italian rabbis expressed their indignation that the pope had given the same attention to the families of innocent people held captive by the terrorist organization and to Palestinian prisoners held in Israel for serious terrorist crimes.

Netherlands: Wilders Coalition Negotiator Resigns Before Talks Start

The conservative Dutch sovereigntist Geert Wilders, whose PVV party came out on top by a 12-seat margin in last week’s national elections, hopes to announce a new ‘scout’ on Tuesday. In the Dutch parliamentary system, a ‘scout’ is assigned the job of looking into viable governing coalitions.

Last Friday, Wilders had appointed PVV Senator Gom van Strien, who was supposed to start holding talks with party leaders in the House of Representatives starting Monday.

Van Strien resigned on what would be his first day following two NRC Handelsblad reports that revealed that a former employer had accused him of fraud.

While van Strien denied the allegations, he chose resignation so that any perceived lack of integrity would not risk the success of the coalition talks.

Proton Drive Arrives on Mac

Swiss startup Proton, known for its dedication to user privacy, has recently expanded its encrypted cloud storage service, Proton Drive, by releasing a macOS app. This launch signifies the app’s readiness for Mac users to enjoy privacy in all their cloud storage needs and ditch Big Tech.

Contrasting sharply with Google Drive, OneDrive and iCloud, Proton Drive embeds end-to-end encryption in all aspects of data — including metadata — stored in its cloud service. This staunch privacy-centric feature ensures that not a single entity, Proton included, has access to the saved files. Besides, Proton Drive’s capability to bring files into sync between the Mac and the cloud, offer offline file access, and create additional room in local drives provides a robust and flexible solution for cloud storage needs.

Supernova Explosion Blew Giant Hole in Earth’s Ozone Layer — Scientists Just Learned

The telescope captured evidence of this devastating cosmic event on October 9 of the previous year

Scientists have unveiled that a distant supernova explosion, situated billions of light years away, possessed such staggering power that it “temporarily destroyed” a portion of Earth’s ozone layer in 2022.

The telescope captured evidence of this cosmic event on October 9 of the previous year, revealing a jet of high-energy photons moving towards Earth, indicative of a supernova explosion 1.9 billion light years distant. Described as a gamma-ray burst (GRB), astronomers dubbed it the “brightest of all time (BOAT).”

In the latest revelation, researchers have determined that this burst, lasting almost 7 minutes, scorched one side of Earth’s ozone layer. The burst caused a measurable alteration in the quantity of ionized particles in the Earth’s upper atmosphere, including ozone molecules that absorb harmful solar radiation, as reported by the New York Times (NYT).

Laura Hayes, a solar physicist from the European Space Agency (ESA), emphasised the widespread impact of the event, stating, “It was such a massive event, it affected all levels of the atmosphere.”

Pietro Ubertini, an astronomer at the National Institute of Astrophysics in Rome involved in the discovery, explained, “The ozone was partially depleted — was destroyed temporarily.”

The observable effect of the explosion lasted only minutes before the ozone layer rapidly repaired itself, leading Ubertini to deem it “nothing serious.” However, he cautioned that if a supernova were closer, it could potentially be catastrophic.

UK: Surrey Banks Glued Shut by Extinction Rebellion Climate Activists

Almost 50 Barclays banks are reported to have been “glued shut” by climate activists overnight and were discovered on Monday morning (November 27). This included two on Surrey — Guildford and Farnham. This is according to Extinction Rebellion (XR) whose members are said to have taken part in the action along with Money Rebellion “and other allied groups”.

XR warned the move is “part of a significant new wave of property-focussed climate action”. and called for customers to switch their accounts to pressure Barclays to “stop mega-funding fossil fuel projects”. Barclays’ Guildford branch remained shut for an extra two and a half hours until midday due to the protest.

Activists superglued locks overnight and are thought to have broken keys or objects in the mechanism first, according to reports in Guildford. An XR activist claimed: “We’re responding to public attitudes and targeting the perpetrators of climate breakdown, not ordinary people and we apologise for any inconvenience caused to staff and customers.”

Watch: British High Court Officer Tries to Break Into Home to Collect on Unpaid TV License Fees

For many years the BBC has denied that they are a government funded or subsidized organization.

They base this claim on a dishonest technicality — The platform argues that it is purely supported by public dollars, as if it is the same as PBS in America. What it doesn’t mention is that the government helps to strong-arm the public into paying that money to the BBC through enforced TV licensing.

And, if citizens are caught using a TV for the consumption of a list of taxable content sources without paying the fees, they can be fined or even jailed if they refuse to pay those fines.

The cost of a TV license in the UK is £159 per year. BBC outsources their sales process to a third-party company called Capita, who operate under the TV Licensing brand name. Capita’s salesmen rebrand themselves as “Enforcement Officers” or “TV License Inspectors”. This creates a false impression of legal authority, used to coerce victims into cooperating. BBC send salesmen to visit unlicensed addresses from their database. These salesmen receive a commission not only for every TV license they sell, but also every successful prosecution they obtain. They therefore attempt to collect evidence of unlicensed TV viewing during their visits. UK police are brought in to oversee the inspections carried out by Capita if there is resistance.

As insane as this probably sounds to most people in other countries, it gets even worse. If authorities believe you are watching BBC related content without a license, they can visit your home to collect on fines, and with a warrant, this includes breaking and entering to search your property.

Israel-Hamas Truce in Gaza Extended by Two Days, Says Mediator Qatar

Hamas official tells Al Jazeera the group hopes to extend the truce even further and put an end to the Israel-Hamas war.

A humanitarian pause in fighting between Israel and Hamas will extend by two days, mediator Qatar and Hamas have said, hours before an initial four-day truce in Gaza was set to expire.

“The State of Qatar announces that, as part of the ongoing mediation, an agreement has been reached to extend the humanitarian truce for an additional two days in the Gaza Strip,” Qatar’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman Majed Al-Ansari said on X, formerly Twitter, on Monday.

Qatar, the United States and Egypt have engaged in intense negotiations to establish and prolong the truce in Gaza, which mediators had said was designed to be broadened and expanded.

Over the course of the initial truce, a total 50 civilian hostages, all women and children, were expected to be freed by Hamas.

In exchange, 150 Palestinian prisoners held by Israel were to be released and more humanitarian aid allowed into Gaza.

“I’m not a facial expression expert, but judging by the look in her eyes and the expression on her face, I’d say this is a look of appreciation and thanks,” Campbell posted Sunday.

“Might it be that she is saying thanks for being treated unexpectedly well whilst in captivity.”

Official: Johnson Forced Kyiv to Refuse Russian Peace Deal

Russia was ready to end the war and withdraw its troops in exchange for Ukrainian neutrality just a few months after the invasion began and was refused partly because of ex-British PM Boris Johnson, who pressured Kyiv into continuing the fight, David Arahamiya, the leader of Ukraine’s ruling party confirmed in a recent interview, published on Friday, November 24th.

The lawmaker is not only leading the parliamentary faction of Zelensky’s Servant of the People party but was also appointed as the head of the Ukrainian delegation during the initial, tentative peace talks in March and April, hosted by Turkey.

Russia’s ultimate goal was to press Ukraine into neutrality, Arahamiya explained, adding that all other requests (like the elusive ‘de-nazification’) were essentially empty cosmetics, and neutrality would have been enough for Russia to agree to withdraw beyond the February 24th frontlines.

Hungarian Intelligence Services Warn Germany About Taliban Threat Among Migrant Arrivals

A report from Hungarian intelligence agencies sent to allied agencies warned Germany of the risk that people smuggling networks along the Balkan route are controlled by the Taliban, the Islamist terrorist organization that has ruled Afghanistan since the U.S. withdrawal, according to exclusive information published by German newspaper Welt am Sonntag.

In the document, Hungarian intelligence agencies informed Germany that since the outbreak of the war between Israel and Hamas, “there is an increased risk of terrorism, which is closely linked to migratory pressure,” as illegal immigration along the Balkan migration route can be used by terrorist networks. Smuggling gangs have also been identified which, according to the Hungarian agencies, are “under the direct control of the Taliban intelligence service,” as their leaders are relatives of members of the Taliban government and of the Taliban-linked Haqqani militia network.

Disney Admitted Foray Into Politics, Culture Wars Hurt Its Bottom Line in SEC Filing: Jonathan Turley

The Walt Disney Co. seems to have admitted “its controversial political and social agenda” has hurt the company and shareholders, according to Jonathan Turley.

Turley, a George Washington University law professor and Fox News contributor, used the 300th birthday of famed economist Adam Smith, whose “invisible hand” metaphor explained how people could exercise their choice between particular products, to put a spotlight on Disney’s struggles.

“Disney appears to acknowledge that Smith’s invisible hand is giving the ‘House of Mouse’ the middle finger. In a new corporate disclosure, Disney acknowledges that its controversial political and social agenda is costing the company and shareholders,” Turley wrote in a piece for The Hill.

Organizers of Saturday’s march and local politicians responsible for allowing the demonstration have failed to commend the violence of this group of participants, the Italian newspaper Il Giornali noted.

New York City Enacts Law Barring Discrimination Based on Weight

New York City just enacted a law banning discrimination against height or weight. Mayor Eric Adams, who just slashed the city’s budget by 5 percent across the board, signed the bill in the spring. This means that in addition to other protected characteristics like age, gender, race, or religion, a person’s weight and height will also be considered protected identifiers under the law.

The law will bring fat discrimination under the jurisdiction of New York’s Commission on Human Rights. This is the body that heads up discrimination issues for other identifiers and characteristics, such as LGBTQ, race, etc. Commissioner Annabel Palma said, at the time the bill was signed, that “Most forms of appearance-based discrimination have persisted unchecked.”
