Biden Economic Adviser Insists ‘Real Wages Have Grown’, Says Economy is ‘On the Right Track’

On Sunday, President Biden’s economic advisor Jared Bernstein asserted that the U.S. economy was “moving on the right track.”

3 of Palestinian Descent Shot Near University of Vermont

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Three men of Palestinian descent were shot Saturday by the University of Vermont in Burlington, police say.

The shooting happened Saturday just before 6:30 p.m., Burlington Police Chief Jon Murad said, according to The Associated Press. Murad said that investigators are searching for the shooter.

Each of the victims is 20 years old. Police say, according to WPTZ, that two are in stable condition and one has serious injuries.

Investigators say that preliminary information determined that the three were visiting a relative’s house in Burlington for Thanksgiving. They were walking on Prospect Street when they came face to face with a man with a handgun. The man fled the area after the shooting, according to the news station.

All three victims are of Palestinian descent. According to WPTZ, two are United States citizens and the other is a legal resident.

The motive is unclear. The names of the victims have not been released.

The FBI, according to CNN, said they were “prepared to investigate” the shooting.

“If, in the course of the local investigation, information comes to light of a potential federal violation, the FBI is prepared to investigate,” Sarah Ruane, an FBI spokesperson based in Albany, New York, said in a statement obtained by the AP.

The White House said, according to the AP, that President Biden has been briefed on the shooting.

3 Palestinian College Students Shot in Vermont in Alleged Bias Attack: ‘Another Example of Hate Turning Violent’

Three Palestinian college students were shot Saturday while walking to a family dinner in Vermont — the victims of a horrific bias attack, according to authorities and Arab-American officials.

At least two of the men, including an Ivy League student at Brown University, were wearing traditional Keffiyeh scarves when they were wounded, said Husam Zomlot, head of the Palestinian mission in the United Kingdom, in a post on X on Sunday.

Zomlot said the three Palestinian men, identified by relatives as Hisham Awartani, Tahseen Ali Ahmad and Kinnann Abdalhamid, “were shot last night on their way to a family dinner in Burlington.”

Democrats Are Ignoring What ‘Voters Have Been Telling Pollsters, ‘ Report Warns

A new report has sent a warning to the Democrats that the party is ignoring what voters are saying ahead of the critical 2024 election.

A new piece from Politico argues that the Democrats are right to be worried about 2024.

However, instead of President Joe Biden’s general poor polling, the Democrats ought to be worried specifically about Biden’s poor polling on economic issues.

That “mission” also includes (trust) rating system for news sites — right in people’s browsers.

But members of the Free Speech Alliance, and those supporting it are not buying this pitch, summing up and denouncing NewsGuard instead as an ideologically-motivated “internet traffic cop.”

‘Legal Theft’: Texas Class Action Lawsuit Aims to Make it Harder for Police, Prosecutors to Seize Cash

A Texas judge cleared a hurdle for a constitutional class action lawsuit alleging law enforcement in one of the nation’s largest counties regularly seize cash and cars from people never convicted of a crime.

“Harris County has one of the most abusive forfeiture programs in the country,” said attorney Wesley Hottot of the Institute of Justice, the nonprofit libertarian law firm arguing the case.

“They have police out specifically looking for cash, they have police out specifically looking for cars that can be seized,” he added. “And wouldn’t you know it, they find cash and they find cars to seize.”

Sandy Hook Families Slam Alex Jones Over ‘Indefinite Bankruptcy’ After Order to Pay $1.4 Billion

The Sandy Hook families and Jones’ creditors accused the 49-year-old Infowars host of refusing to “adhere to a reasonable budget or engage with the Committee [of Jones’ creditors] on ways to limit spending,” in a Tuesday filing in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Texas, The Hill reported. “In short, Jones has failed in every way to serve as the fiduciary mandated by the Bankruptcy Code in exchange for the breathing spell he has enjoyed for almost a year. Antifa and Anti-Israel Activists Block Montreal Highway and Entrance to Weapons Company

Early this morning in Montreal, Quebec, far-left activists involved in the Palestinian movement coordinated with a violent organization, Antifa, to take over a six-lane highway and block entry and exit to Lockheed Martin and Bombardier.

“Stand up, fight back!” they chanted with glee, the popular slogan used by so called “Anti-facists” who employ violence against journalists and peaceful protesters.

Many could be seen donning full ‘blac-bloc’ attire, used by the organization to commit crimes without easily being identified by police and their victims for legal repercussions and justice.

Over 100,000 people marched through London on Sunday with a message of solidarity against antisemitism, marking one of the largest demonstrations of its type since 1936.

UK: King Charles Secretly Profits Off Assets of Dead Brits Using Medieval Law, Scathing Report Finds

King Charles III has been accused of using ancient feudal laws to nab tens of millions of dollars intended for charity from the deaths of thousands of Brits to upgrade his real estate empire, according to a bombshell report from the Guardian this week.

The king has reportedly been claiming and profiting for years off assets known as “bona vacantia,” which are owned by people who died without a will or known next of kin, in order to upgrade commercial properties for rent, the outlet reported.

In the past 10 years, the monarch has reportedly collected more than $75 million in the funds — despite pledges to donate all proceeds to charity.

However, documents obtained by the Guardian from The Duchy of Lancaster, Charles’ extensive land and property estate he inherited from the late Elizabeth II, reveal that the money is secretly being used to renovate the properties that he rents out for profit.

UK: Oxford Revolts Over ‘Havoc’ Caused by Eco-Road Measures as New Bid Launched to Reverse Policies

Eco-measures forced upon Britons in Oxford has led to a political rebellion, with a new breakaway party forming to challenge the consensus.

The Independent Oxford Alliance (IOA) was launched last week after growing frustration that councillors from the more traditional political parties were ignoring residents’ concerns.

Oxford has seen the roll out of low-traffic neighbourhoods across the city, which has been blamed by some for gridlock on the roads.

Dr Anne Gwinnett, the chairwoman of the newly registered party, said that at next year’s elections independent candidates would stand together to promote policies wanted by local people rather than taking orders from party head offices in London.

Tommy Robinson was arrested on Sunday at a London march against antisemitism, for allegedly causing “harm and distress” as a journalist covering the event.

Video footage of Robinson’s arrest showed him leaving a café next to the march where he was approached by police officers. The police detained him for refusing to comply with a direction to disperse.

Robinson was then surrounded by a large group of police officers where he was pepper sprayed and led away from the protest.

The Metropolitan police said they had been in contact with the organizers of the march and that they were concerned Robinson’s presence would “cause fear for other participants.” The police said they had warned Robinson on more than one occasion that his presence was “likely to cause harassment, alarm and distress to others.”

Thirty Years Ago Israel Deported Hamas. Clinton Made Israel Take it Back

by Daniel Greenfield

“Deporting The Hope For Peace?” Newsweek asked. The hope for peace was Hamas.

The year was 1992. The Clinton administration was trying to get Israeli Prime Minister Rabin and the PLO’s Yasser Arafat to sign on the dotted line of the Oslo Accords to create a terror state inside Israel. In the name of peace. Unfortunately Hamas kept killing Israelis.

15-year-old Helena Rapp had been stabbed to death at a bus stop on the way to school. A few days later, Rabbi Shimon Biran, a father of four, was similarly murdered by an Islamic terrorist.

Fed up with the latest killings, Prime Minister Rabin put 417 Islamists terrorists on buses and dumped them in Lebanon. The monsters he deported included top Hamas terror leaders.

On the six buses were current Hamas leader Ismael Haniyeh, Hamas co-founder Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi, who would vow, “by Allah, we will not leave one Jew in Palestine”, Abu Osama, who helped draft the Hamas charter calling for the extermination of the Jews, Hamas co-founders Mohammed Taha, Hammad Al-Hasanat, and Mahmoud Zahar, who threatened “They have legitimized the killing of their people all over the world by killing our people”, Hamad Al-Bitawi, who proclaimed that “Jihad is a collective duty” along with Abdullah al-Shami, the head of Islamic Jihad, and many other present and future Islamic terror leaders deported to Lebanon.

The New York Times headlined its coverage, “Ousted Arabs Shiver and Wait in Lebanese Limbo”. Newsweek also sympathetically described how the Hamas terrorists were “shivering in the cold.” The Washington Post lingered on their handcuff “welts”. The Associated Press provided detailed coverage of their cases of diarrhea turning the bowel movements of Islamist terrorists into an item worthy of international coverage.

In reality the Hamas and Islamic Jihad terrorists had been equipped by Israel with raincoats, blankets, food and $50 each: more than enough to buy whatever they needed in Lebanon…

Russia Says it Downed Dozens of Ukrainian Drones Headed for Moscow After Its Strike on Kyiv

Ukraine overnight tried to attack Moscow with dozens of drones, Russian authorities said Sunday, just a day after Ukrainian officials reported that Russia had launched its most intense drone attack on Kyiv since the beginning of its full-scale war in 2022.

Russian air defenses brought down at least 24 drones over the Moscow region — which surrounds but does not include the capital — and four other provinces to the south and west, the Russian Defense Ministry and Moscow mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported in a series of Telegram updates. Neither referenced any casualties.

Andrei Vorobyev, governor of the Moscow region, wrote on Telegram that the drone strikes damaged three unspecified buildings there, adding that no one was hurt.

One drone crashed into a 12-story apartment block in the western Russian city of Tula, about 180 kilometers (113 miles) south of Moscow, lightly wounding one resident and causing limited damage, local Gov. Aleksei Dyumin wrote on Telegram on Sunday morning.

Moscow’s Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports also briefly shut down because of the drone attack, according to Russia’s state-run news agency Tass. Both appeared to have resumed normal operation by 6 a.m. local time, according to data from international flight tracking portals.

Russian Telegram channels speculated that Ukrainian forces had deployed a previously unseen type of drone in the purported strike, pointing out some similarities to the Iranian-made weapons Moscow routinely employs in its attacks on Ukraine.

Ukraine is “Criminalising Legitimate Religious Debate”: An Interview With Bob Amsterdam

The Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), which was previously affiliated with the Patriarchate of Moscow, has been under intense pressure from the Ukrainian government headed by President Volodymyr Zelensky, as the government has accused the church of having ties to the Russian government following the February 2022 invasion.

Despite the fact that the UOC cut ties with Moscow and its Patriarch Kirill in May 2022, Zelensky’s government has raided churches, arrested priests and other clergy, and in October, the Ukrainian Parliament proposed outlawing the OUC entirely.

The European Conservative spoke to Bob Amsterdam, the lawyer representing the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, who is leading the church’s international response against the proposal to ban the church’s activities in Ukraine. He is the founder of Amsterdam & Partners LLP, a boutique international law firm with offices in London and Washington, DC. He has extensive experience in the region, having been arrested by Vladimir Putin in Moscow and having defended Ilya Ponomarev, an exiled Russian State Duma Deputy who was subsequently granted Ukrainian citizenship and is now fighting against Russia as part of Ukraine’s Territorial Defense Forces.

Argentina’s President-Elect Javier Milei Affirms Central Bank Closure as ‘Non-Negotiable’

Argentina’s President-elect Javier Milei reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to closing the country’s central bank, countering what he termed “false rumors” about his intentions. In a statement released via social media, Milei, known for his libertarian economic views, emphasized that the closure is a “non-negotiable matter.”

As Milei prepares to assume office on December 10, there are indications that he is opting for a somewhat more moderate cabinet than initially anticipated. This shift in strategy is evident in his selection of economist Osvaldo Giordano, from the central Cordoba region, to head ANSES, Argentina’s social security administration. This choice marks a departure from Milei’s earlier plan to appoint a close ally for the position, reflecting a potential move towards a more balanced approach to governance.

After Shock Migration Figures, Over Half of Britons Support Five Year Pause on All New Arrivals

The British public are considerably more conservative than the ruling Conservative party on the question of migration, polling taken in the wake of this week’s shock migration figures shows.

A majority of Britons are concerned the nation’s population is soaring because of mass migration and, astonishingly, a majority even support a “five-year halt on all further immigration into the UK”. Reducing migration to zero, never mind for five whole years, is a position on border control so strident there is no political party in Britain that voters could even support to deliver such a policy.

The figures, which come from research by British Polling Council member People Polling in response to this week’s record net migration figures, shows a strong majoirty are concerned about migration having an impact on the population of the United Kingdom. Per a statement by Migration Watch, who commissioned the polling seen by Breitbart London 66 per cent of Britons said they are concerned about projections based on the present rate of migrant arrivals which suggest the UK population would reach 85 million by 2046 if nothing changes.

Seven Boats Filled With Migrants Are Escorted Into British Waters by French Coastguards as Smugglers Take Advantage of the Calmer Weather

Seven boats believed to be carrying migrants were escorted into British waters by French coastguards after crossing the Channel on Sunday.

The small boats, which can carry more than 50 people, were seen travelling into British waters during a rare lull in the tempestuous winter weather, which can make the passage potentially deadly.

But people smugglers took advantage of the unusually calm seas to send dozens across, with multiple boatloads of asylum seekers picked up by a Border Force vessel.

It means that up to 350 migrants could have landed on the south coast today, the first such asylum seekers to do so since Wednesday, and the largest number to do so since November 16 when 356 made the crossing.

Disney’s ‘Wish’ is a Theatrical Bomb and the Latest in a String of Woke Failures

Is it time to declare the Disney brand dead? Only a couple weeks ago the entertainment giant suffered one of its worst box office showings ever with the failure of The Marvels, a feminist driven girl-boss movie which was widely applauded by social justice advocates but ignored by the vast majority of the public. The film is expected to lose $200 million to $300 million once receipts are totaled and marketing costs are accounted for.

  1. Tommy Robinson Pepper sprayed- what sort of attitude does that show everyone who expects their Police to behave in accordance and within the bounds of common sense? Control from the political establishment abounds. We are now it appears no longer living in a free country, free from subjugation and enslavement, where one asks has it all gone wrong?

  2. If cops know in advance that they want to take action against you, they can shout out contradictory commands. When you ignore one to comply with the other, the one you ignore gets to shoot, taze or pepper spray you. It’s a dirty cop trick and it’s likely, in my view, that this was what was done to Tommy Robinson. Especially in light of the fact that so many bobbies were involved in his arrest.
