Germany: Record Amount of Shrinkflation and Deceptive Packaging Helps Hide Inflation From Consumers

Germany has seen an astonishing increase in food and product inflation over the last two years, but companies are increasingly turning to deceptive packaging to help hide these cost increases. Consumers are starting to notice the trend, filing a record number of complaints with consumer advocates.

In fact, these deceptive packaging methods are often leading to price increases that exceed the inflation rate. Germany’s Welt newspaper points to a range of products, such as Suchard Express cocoa packets, which have shrunk from 500 grams to 400 grams but remained the same price, amounting to a 25 percent more expensive product.

Some BRICS Nations Want Their Own Currency to Replace the Dollar, But Will it Actually Happen?

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva last week called on the BRICS nations at the 15th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa, to create a common currency for trade and investment between the nations in order to reduce the countries’ vulnerability to fluctuations in the dollar exchange rate.

Officials and economists have highlighted the difficulties involved in such a project, given the economic, political and geographical disparity between Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.

12-Year-Old Boy Booted From Class Over Gadsden Flag Patch on Backpack: ‘Origins With Slavery’

A video circulating on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, this week depicted a young elementary school student in Colorado Springs, Colorado, being removed from class for having a Gadsden flag patch on his backpack.

The clip appeared to be recorded by 12-year-old Jaiden’s mother as she, her son and a school administrator discussed the boy being pulled from class at The Vanguard School that day because of the patch.

According to the staffer at the Colorado charter school, the patch was “disruptive to the classroom environment” and that it has “origins with slavery.”

After Skipping Debate, Trump Maintains 45-Point Lead Over Primary Opponents

Former President Donald Trump’s decision to skip the Republican National Committee’s first primary debate last week appears to have not impacted his standing in the party primary, with the ex-commander-in-chief holding on to a solid lead against his opponents.

Trump claimed the support of 59% of registered voters in the latest The Messenger/HarrisX survey. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis took second with 14% while tech mogul Vivek Ramaswamy took 8%. Former Vice President Mike Pence got 6% support, compared to former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley’s 3%. Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott each got 2%.

California Mall Will Require Unaccompanied Teens to Wear ID Lanyards After Large Brawl

A Southern California shopping mall will require unaccompanied minors to wear identification tags following a violent brawl over the weekend, after hundreds came to the mall for cheap movie tickets.

The move by the Moreno Valley Mall came after multiple fights broke out Sunday. Hundreds of people were at the mall because the movie theater was offering $4 movie tickets as part of National Cinema Day, FOX Los Angeles reported.

The mall eventually shut down after authorities were called to assist security in breaking up the fights. No weapons were used during the brawl, mall management said.

Chief Justice of Wisconsin’s Supreme Court Says the New Liberal Majority Staged a ‘Coup’

The conservative chief justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court on Monday told the new liberal majority in a scathing email that they had staged a “coup” and conducted an “illegal experiment” when they voted to weaken her powers and fire the director of state courts.

Chief Justice Annette Ziegler, in two emails obtained by The Associated Press, said that firing and hiring a new state court director was illegal and ordered interim state court director Audrey Skwierawski to stop signing orders without her knowledge or approval.

“You are making a mess of the judiciary, the court and the institution for years to come,” Ziegler wrote to her fellow justices and Skwierawski. “This must stop. … I have no confidence in the recent hostile takeover and the chaotic effect it has had on the court, staff, and the overall stable functioning of the courts.”

DHS Agency Used Slack and Personal Cellphones for Meetings Aimed at Misinformation Censorship

It has emerged that a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agency has been using unconventional and potentially insecure methods for hosting meetings concerning “misinformation.” Twisting the principles of transparency that democratic institutions are ostensibly built upon, these meetings were not conducted in government facilities or through official secure communication channels, but through a Slack channel and even personal cellphones — according to existing records.

It’s a jarring black mark against the Protecting Critical Infrastructure from Misinformation & Disinformation Subcommittee, part of CISA’s Cybersecurity Advisory Committee, whose primary obligation was to national security, which veered away from standard protocol to hold critical talks about a hot-button issue like “misinformation” censorship.

Gold Star Dad Calls Out Biden as ‘Disgrace to This Nation’: ‘I’m Done Biting My Tongue’

The father of a U.S. Marine killed during the terrorist attack at the Kabul airport in Afghanistan two years ago tore into President Biden on Capitol Hill on Tuesday, saying he is a “disgrace to this nation” who has “more American blood” on his hands “than any president in U.S. history.”

Mark Schmitz, the father of Marine Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, who was one of the 13 U.S. service members killed in a bomb blast on Aug. 26, 2021, during the military evacuation at the Kabul airport, participated in a roundtable discussion with other Gold Star family members before the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

Joe Biden Used Pseudonyms in at Least 5,400 Emails

The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) revealed it’s in possession of some 5,400 records that contain email pseudonyms that President Joe Biden used during his tenure as vice president.

The jarring number was revealed in a letter from the Archives to the Southeastern Legal Foundation (SLF), which last year filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for any documents that referenced three pseudonymous email accounts: robinware456@gmail.com, JRBWare@gmail.com and Robert.L.Peters@pci.gov.

“We have performed a search of our collection for Vice Presidential records related to your [June 9, 2022] request and have identified approximately 5,138 email messages, 25 electronic files and 200 pages of potentially responsive records that must be processed in order to respond to your request,” said the letter from NARA.

Jordan contended that contact between the White House and the office of an officially independent prosecutor pursuing multiple cases against President Joe Biden’s chief political opponent had called the probe’s integrity into question.

San Francisco Faces Most Severe Crisis Since AIDS Epidemic: Fentanyl Overdose Deaths Double COVID-19 Fatalities

A city official in San Francisco has referred to the rising number of overdose deaths from fentanyl and other drugs as the most severe crisis the city has faced since the AIDS epidemic.

During a town hall meeting hosted by News Nation, District 6 Supervisor Matt Dorsey emphasized the alarming loss of life, which he claimed is twice as deadly as COVID-19 due to drug overdoses. This year has been the deadliest for drug overdoses in the city’s history, leading to visible street-level crimes and retail theft.

San Francisco has been among the cities hit hardest by addiction and homelessness in the United States. Paul Humphrey, a deputy police chief in Louisville, Kentucky, echoed Dorsey’s concerns, describing the fentanyl crisis as frightening and affecting Black and brown communities disproportionately. Both officials stressed the importance of addressing the issue before it reaches a crisis level and treating individuals struggling with addiction with empathy and access to proper healthcare services.

Where Are 2,025 Missing Lahaina Schoolchildren?

by Diana West

Above is a snap of Keith T. Hayashi, Superintendent of the Hawaii Department of Education, presenting a report on “Maui Wildfire Impacts” on August 24. The “impacts,” of course, have been ghastly — surreal . For starters, none of Lahaina’s four public schools in West Maui are operational since the fires of August 8. However, it is in this same DOE report that we can see, in the dispassionate navy blue and white of a simple graphic (below), that over two thousand — 2,025 — previously enrolled Lahaina schoolchildren are missing from the public school system. That’s a little over two-thirds of the 3,001 children heretofore served by Lahaina schools who “have not re-enrolled in another public school or opted for distance learning.”

As if to soothe spiking palpitations of panic, the slide also notes that these two-thousand-plus kids may well “have moved out of state” or “enrolled in private schools.” Yes, yes, they may well have done exactly that. Further, some or even many of these children and their families could be so overwhelmed by the ordeal they are suffering through that school is the last thing on any of their minds. But it is also possible, as noted by the Hawaii Star Advertiser, that some of these children “may have died in the fire.”…

The Covid cult is still out there, desperate for a return to the days of lockdowns and restrictions and in Canada they appear to be highly militant.

Mask mandates were perhaps one of the most egregious violations of science during the pandemic scare (though there were so many violations, that question is up for debate). Government officials including Anthony Fauci in the US admitted in the early days of the crisis that masks would do little to save the public from transmission. Suddenly, the narrative changed and masks became a hard requirement in many regions just to enter retail establishments to buy necessities.

“A Very Dangerous Moment” — Hungary’s Orban Warns Tucker “A 3rd World War is Knocking on the Door”

During Tucker Carlson’s recent visit to Budapest, where he gave a speech apologizing for the “disgusting” behavior of the US Ambassador to Hungary, the former Fox News anchor sat down with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.

Orban — Hungary’s longest-serving prime minister — knows a thing or two about Russia (having grown up under their occupation, and been arrested and thrown into jail by Russian-backed police for his efforts to liberate the country) and Ukraine (a nation with which is shares a border), and so Tucker sat down to ask him — what exactly is going on in Ukraine right now (given the propagandic opacity of news in America).

“It is not just a misunderstanding, it is a lie,” Orban begins, when asked about the fact that American media continue to claim that ‘Ukraine is winning’ the war.

Is Russia Behind Rail Traffic Disruptions in Poland?

A series of incidents on Poland’s railways has raised security concerns after a number of trains were halted by unauthorized “stop” radio-signal alarm directives, with concerns that Russia may have played some role in the incidents.

Poland’s Internal Security Agency (ABW), along with the police and rail company officials, has launched an investigation into the signals being sent to trains in several parts of the country.

Surge in Weapon Purchases in Czech Republic Amidst Ukraine Conflct

The Czech Republic has seen a significant surge in weapon purchases this year with more pistols and rifles sold in the first half of the year than all of last year, when the Ukraine conflict began. Interestingly, there’s a rising trend among women procuring firearm licenses.

These weapons, resembling standard pistols are used predominantly for self-defense and sports and can be bought merely with an identity card. Within the first half of this year, almost 12,500 of such weapons, categorized under C-I, were registered with the Ministry of Interior (MVD); a significant uptick from the previous year by 3,500 units. To acquire such weapons, one must meet specific criteria, including being at least 18 years old, having Czech residency, maintaining a clean reputation and registering the weapon with the local police department.

Since the start of the war, pro-war influencers have gained millions of followers on Telegram, the social media platform many Russians turned to after President Vladimir Putin banned Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.

First COVID Deaths Were Fully Jabbed, Australian State Records Reveal

Authored by Jessie Zhang via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours)

In light of a court case launched by a group of doctors challenging the Queensland government’s COVID-19 vaccination mandates, records have revealed that the first deaths in the Australian state were individuals who were fully vaccinated.

A list of the state’s first 183 COVID-19 deaths from the pandemic’s start on March 13, 2020, until Jan. 27, 2022, produced by Queensland’s chief health officer in an affidavit, indicates it was known to authorities as early as Jan. 2022 that the vaccines may not be preventing deaths.

The list shows that the first locally acquired COVID-19 death was one in their 80s and another in their 30s, with both having received two doses of the vaccine in December 2021 and January 2022, respectively.

While Queensland recorded seven deaths early in the pandemic, these cases were acquired outside of the state and before vaccine rollouts began.

Queensland’s border opened in December 2021 after 80 percent of the state population vaccination was reached. By Dec. 31, 2021, nearly 90 percent of the population over 16 were fully vaccinated.

Communist China Helps Itself to Ecuador

“We are basically being plundered. There are no words. There are no words to describe this tragedy. They [China] have control of the natural resources,” said Ecuadorean investigative journalist and presidential candidate Fernando Villavicencio in the award-winning 2022 documentary, This Stolen Country of Mine. “China took control of the natural resources. They control the hydroelectric plants, they control the oil, a large part of mining, and they control political power. We’ve been colonized. Again.”

From 2007 to 2017, Villavicencio, who was a leading critic of the country’s sellout to China and government corruption, investigated the corruption and China dealings of left-wing Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa, who effectively sold the country and its rich resources to China. In 2020, Correa was sentenced in absentia to eight years in prison for corruption, but had already fled to Belgium. Today, China is Ecuador’s largest creditor.

Ecuadorean President Lenin Moreno, the left-wing politician who succeeded Correa in the post in 2019, only deepened and broadened China’s activities there, now including the industrial-scale destruction of the land of indigenous people in the Amazon rainforest. Moreno signed contracts with China for the exploration — and exploitation — of Ecuador’s Amazon for oil, “mostly,” according to Villavicencio, “in protected areas.” Regarding mining, Moreno signed even more contracts with the Chinese for what Villavicencio called “brutal projects.”

“The indigenous people were next,” Villavicencio noted. “They are the victims. Their houses were violently destroyed, their children attacked, people being detained, trials, the criminalization of their parents…”

Villavicencio, a leading figure in the fight against government corruption, the Ecuadorian government’s sellout to China and drug cartels, was assassinated on August 9, just days before the presidential elections, which took place on August 20. It is still not clear who killed him.

UK Trans MP Proposes Sending Ukraine Condoms, Lubricant

Britain’s only openly transgender member of Parliament, Jamie Wallis, has proposed a delivery of condoms, lubricants and other “hygiene” products to Ukrainian LGBT soldiers and said President Vladimir Zelensky should welcome it personally.

Wallis made the suggestion in a Zoom call with what he believed was Garry Kasparov, a former chess grandmaster and now an outspoken Russian dissident. In reality, he was speaking with the notorious Russian pranksters Vovan and Lexus, who posted a 16-minute cut of the conversation online on Monday.

The Mayor of London has allocated funds to a city-based, non-profit project geared towards providing homes specifically for “LGBTQ+ people [so they] can live safely, joyfully, free from oppression.”

The West’s support for Ukraine is crumbling

    By Lars Hedegaard

Any hint that the war in Ukraine might not be going so well, that the government in Kiev is not winning, and that globalists in Western capitals are pouring money and weapons into the conflict to little avail, is met with furious protests and accusations of doing Vladimir Putin’s bidding. But that can change. Now Italy’s former prime minister Giuseppe Conti writes on Facebook that the Western world’s strategy in Ukraine has failed. The result has been a “defeat for all”.

Here, a year and a half after Putin’s invasion, it is time for an “honest analysis” instead of the “deafening war propaganda” flowing from European and American leaders, writes Conti, who points out that Russia’s expected military defeat has not materialized. Nor have the US and the EU succeeded in causing the Russian economy to collapse.

Conti expresses strong criticism of the EU, which has shown a lack of leadership and instead acted subserviently towards the US.

Nor does he think Russia has much to be happy about. Instead of the expected quick victory over the much smaller Ukraine, Putin must now see himself drawn into a conflict that by all accounts has been costly. He is also accused of having committed crimes against humanity.

According to the former prime minister, the war has so far cost 500,000 Ukrainian and Russian dead, while six million Ukrainians have fled the country.

In contrast to Conti, the incumbent Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has chosen to act hawkish in line with the leaders in Berlin, Brussels and Paris.

According to experts quoted in the German newspaper Die Welt, Ukraine must mobilize three million soldiers to defeat Russia, which is not easy in the light of a calculation by the United Nations, which shows that Ukraine’s population has decreased from 48.2 million in 2001 to today’s 29 million.

The lack of Ukrainian victories threatens to crack the previous Western agreement on support for Kiev. The former CIA agent, Larry Johnson, writes in the weekly newspaper The Week (August 27) that he has noticed a number of critical articles in the American mainstream media that paint a gloomy picture of the course of the war. When these kinds of stories find their way into the media, it is, in his experience, an indication that cracks have appeared in the earlier agreement on Washington’s unconditional support for Kiev.

Washington’s support for Ukraine is crumbling, he writes, even though the government officially claims that Ukrainian victory is just around the corner. The CIA and the US intelligence agencies have clearly come to a different conclusion.

Russia is becoming some kind of ISIS with the idea of political jihad.
What kind of country is this, a defender of Abrahamic values, in which there is no place for us – Russian atheists, polytheists and agnostics. This is how you become a humanoid without a Motherland.

  6. I subscribe to two Russian person channels on youtube. They live a great life and they are precious people.

YOU don’t know your own country, Elena. You are [ad hominem redacted]. Russia is NOT ISIS.
