Chicago Police ‘Almost Completely Dispelled’ Shooting at White Sox Game Came From Outside Stadium

Fred Waller, Chicago’s interim superintendent of police, announced Monday that the shooting in which two women were wounded during Friday night’s Chicago White Sox-Oakland Athletics game was most likely caused by a gun that went off inside Guaranteed Rate Field.

“We’re dispelling a lot of things,” Waller said during a media availability, per the Associated Press. “[A shot] coming from outside is something we’ve almost completely dispelled. We’re still looking at every avenue. It’s still under investigation. Something from inside, it could’ve happened that way. We’re looking at every avenue, exploring every lead and everything that we can get.”

Chicago police have not detailed where the shots came from or if someone brought a gun into Guaranteed Rate Field.

Chicago Mayor Mocked for Suing Automakers for Car Thefts: ‘Criminals Running Rampant’ But it’s a ‘KIA Problem’

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson is facing backlash after filing suit against Kia and Hyundai over claims they manufactured cars that lacked appropriate anti-theft measures, ultimately leading to a surge in car crimes.

Democrat Alderman Raymond Lopez mocked Johnson over the lawsuit on “Fox & Friends,” calling the move a “play from a socialist playbook” as crime continues to ravage streets in the Windy City.

“Clearly, we don’t have a crime problem. We have a Kia problem in the city of Chicago, according to Mayor Johnson,” Lopez told Steve Doocy on Monday. “The numbers speak for themselves — 104% increase from last year, a 234% increase in vehicle thefts from two years ago — but yet it’s the car’s fault.”

DHS Uses Social Media Surveillance Tools to Detect Peoples’ Emotions

The company that provides this tool, Fivecast, does so in multiple languages. Fivecast also sells surveillance of video and image material through what it calls AI-enabled object recognition.

Hawaiian Electric Soars After Statement: Power Lines “De-Energized” When Fire Started

Hawaiian Electric Industries Inc. surged as much as 43% in premarket trading in New York after the utility released a statement: their power lines were de-energized for more than six hours in Lahaina when the “Afternoon Fire” broke out on Aug. 8 that ultimately leveled the resort town in West Maui.

Just last week, Maui County slapped Hawaiian Electric with a lawsuit, accusing the utility of negligence that sparked the devastating wildfire that leveled Lahaina and killed more than 100 people, with hundreds still missing.

“We were surprised and disappointed that the County of Maui rushed to court even before completing its own investigation,” said Shelee Kimura, president and CEO of Hawaiian Electric.

Kimura said, “We believe the complaint is factually and legally irresponsible. It is inconsistent with the path that we believe we should pursue as a resilient community committed and accountable to each other as well as to Hawaii’s future. We continue to stand ready to work to that end with our communities and others. Unfortunately, the county’s lawsuit may leave us no choice in the legal system but to show its responsibility for what happened that day.”

The Washington Post Calls for Reducing Free Speech to Improve Democracy

Watch: Climate Commies Blocking Burning Man Taken Down Hard by Tribal Cops

Tribal police took aggressive action against a group of anti-capitalist climate protesters blocking the road to Burning Man in Nevada on Sunday.

Approximately six activists from Seven Circles and Extinction Rebellion locked themselves to a trailer in the middle of the road, when rangers from the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribal Police Department of Nevada drove straight through their blockade, sending demonstrators flying as they sobbed “We’re non-violent,” the Daily Mail reports.

At one point a tribal officer exited his vehicle and ordered a climate protester to the ground at gunpoint before telling her to ‘stop resisting’ arrest.

Another can be heard asking a protestors ‘who has the gun’, as the protestors say ‘we have no weapons at all, we’re environmental protestors’.

Guardian journalist Michelle Hooq claimed on social media that the Rangers attended the protest after receiving a call that ‘someone in the crowd was going to shoot the activists’.

Watch: Big Government Raids Small-Town Amish Farm

Townhall published a documentary on X, formerly known as Twitter, titled “David vs. Goliath: Big Government’s War on an Amish Farmer.” The film shows big government raiding the business of a small-town Amish farmer tucked away in Virginia’s heartland.

Samuel B. Fisher and his family farm, Golden Valley Farms, was raided unannounced in June by the Virginia Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (VDACS) and Cumberland County sheriff’s deputy for selling meat from his 100-acre farm because the meat was not processed in a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) facility.

“They went through everything, house, every building, in the barn. They just raided through everything, put their nose in everything, and wanted to know every detail of everything. Women Charged With Smuggling Fentanyl in Body Cavities

CBP officers detained female carriers on consecutive days at pedestrian lanes of El Paso’s Ysleta port of entry

EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) — Two women face multiple federal charges after allegedly trying to smuggle fentanyl from Mexico inside their bodies through the pedestrian lanes of El Paso’s Ysleta port of entry.

One indictment returned last week charges Angelysse Swink Gonzalez with the importation of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.

Gonzalez on Aug. 5 stated at the port of entry she was returning from visiting her grandmother on her birthday in Juarez, Mexico, but had no identification on her, court records show. She showed a U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer a photo in her cellphone of a state identification card.

The officer noticed during the interview that Gonzalez appeared to be wearing a thick undergarment under her legging jeans. The officer sent her to a secondary inspection area where a female officer conducted a pat down and asked her to squat.

The officer reported the woman struggled to comply with her instructions, so she touched her and felt a bulge in the pelvic area. According to court records, Gonzalez voluntarily removed from her vagina a sealed condom carrying 1,000 pills that tested positive for fentanyl.

Gonzalez was later interviewed by Homeland Security Investigators to whom she allegedly told a man in Las Cruces, New Mexico, offered her “work” bringing drugs into the United States. She and her contact traveled to Juarez, where she was instructed to call an Uber. They arrived at an address where she was offered 100 fentanyl pills as payment if she could smuggle a “boat” of pills into the U.S., court records show.

Brits Told to Not Heat Their Homes in Evenings

British NGO the Climate Change Committee has urged people to turn their heaters off at night and during other peak times in its latest “carbon budget“ report, the UK Telegraph revealed on Saturday.

Rather than keeping radiators on at night during the coldest months of the year, Britons should “pre-heat“ their homes in the afternoon to save money, the report advised, explaining, “Where homes are sufficiently well insulated, it is possible to pre-heat ahead of peak times, enabling access to cheaper tariffs which reflect the reduced costs associated with running networks and producing power during off-peak times.

France: Olympic Games: The Impossible Swim in the Seine

Paris mayor Anne Hidalgo’s ambition for the Olympic Games, which the French capital will host in the summer of 2024, is to hold the swimming events directly in the Seine rather than in an artificial pool. But for the time being, three test competitions designed to check that the river’s water is fit for human use have had to be cancelled one after the other because the water is still too polluted. Doubts are growing about the feasibility of the mayor’s project.

With less than a year to go before the start of the Games, which will kick off on July 26, 2024, three test events have been cancelled in the space of two weeks.

Spain: Concert Poster Suggestive of Vox Leader’s Assassination

A poster announcing a concert series in the Basque regional capital of Bilbao depicted VOX leader Santiago Abascal with blood spurting from his neck.

The poster appeared on social media during the city’s annual festival week in August.

As typically happens, there was an alternative festival program organised outside of the official one sponsored, financed, and controlled by the city hall and often associated with radical groups, according to the Spanish newspaper Vozpópuli, which was the first to report on the menacing poster.

The announcement uses an image of Abascal as the main visual element. He is riding in a convertible as if in a parade, and a red stain, evocative of blood, emerges from the nape of his neck. The scene is suggestive of the politician receiving a shot from behind.

Disney Stock Plunges to 9 Year Lows After Multiple Woke Box Office Failures

Maybe attacking the state of Florida and supporting transgender indoctrination in schools was not the best money-making business model?

Disney has been injecting far-left propaganda into its film productions and streaming productions for a number of years, but it was not until their very public attempt to undermine Florida’s Parental Rights In Education Bill that larger audiences started applying more scrutiny to the company and withholding their dollars. In the past, consumers used to let subversive progressive preaching slide, but with the rapid decline in story quality as well as the open hostility shown by companies like Disney towards conservatives, the tide is turning.

Woke leftist messaging would include — Mary Sue stories designed to bolster false feminist premises while denigrating men. Critical Race Theory messaging that attempts to exaggerate and exploit negative race relations. The race swapping of established white characters for the sake of virtue signaling. The erasure of positive romantic stories featuring straight protagonists; showing only LGBT relationships in a positive light. LGBT propaganda aimed at young children. The promotion of trans ideology, often based on anti-science. Sexualized messaging aimed at children. Regularly depicting pro-American and pro-free market characters as the villains. The list goes on…
