Arizona Judge Denies Sanctions Against Kari Lake and Her Legal Team

A judge in Maricopa County denied a motion to enact sanctions against former GOP Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake and her legal team.

An Arizona judge earlier this week dismissed Lake’s challenge of her 2022 gubernatorial election loss against Democrat Katie Hobbs.

Lawyers for Maricopa County, the largest county in Arizona, filed a sanctions request after the trial, stating that Lake claiming the 2022 gubernatorial election rigged was “heinous and profoundly harmful.”

Judge Peter Thompson ruled Friday that Lake’s failure to prove her claims through evidence, doesn’t mean it was “groundless” and “not made in good faith.”

Far-Left Oregon Legal Group Sued for Wrongful Termination, ‘Violated Ethical Rules for Years’

A lawsuit filed on May 22 revealed that a lawyer who formerly worked for the Oregon Justice Resource Center (OJRC), a Portland-based, far-left legal group with ties to Antifa, has alleged he was fired for expressing concerns that under executive director Bobbin Singh’s leadership, the non-profit routinely engaged in “rogue advocacy” and “glaring ethical violations.”

According to the Willamette Week, attorney Gabriel Newland said Singh, who co-founded the OJRC in 2011 and is not a lawyer, would advise on legal strategies and said to Newland via text, “I took the bar exam twice in 2013, taking only a couple of weeks to study…nearly passed, but I didn’t.” Newland said that this kind of behavior “clearly—and concededly—violated ethical rules for years.”

Man and Woman Who Killed, Dismembered Roommate Sentenced to 40 Years in Prison

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Two people have been sentenced to 40 years in prison for the 2017 killing and dismemberment of their former roommate in Maryland.

Christina Harnish, also known as Christina Stallings, and William Rice were sentenced Friday to the maximum punishment for second-degree murder in the killing of Megan Tilman.

Body parts of Tilman, an Annapolis mother of two, washed up along the Shady Side shoreline weeks after she was killed.

In the fall of 2017, Rice and Harnish were roommates of Tilman and her elderly mother and had relied on their financial support. When Tilman stopped providing that support, she disappeared, prosecutors said.

Tilman’s family reported that they stopped hearing from her. Her ex-husband reported receiving suspicious text messages and seeing social media posts on her account that were different from her normal communications.

By that time, Rice and Harnish had fled to Arizona by bus, State’s Attorney Anne Colt Leitess said in a news release.

Powerful Blast Launches Car 100 Feet Onto Milwaukee Roof

A search warrant indicated that someone placed a bomb inside a car parked in an industrial area of Milwaukee.

Search warrants obtained by Scripps News Milwaukee reveal a car explosion outside a Milwaukee warehouse was so powerful it launched the vehicle 100 feet away onto the second-story roof of a building.

Neighbors said they heard a loud boom and felt their homes shake shortly before 10 p.m. Monday, May 22. Police say someone intentionally blew up a car in an industrial area near houses that felt the impact.

The FBI, Milwaukee Police Department, and Milwaukee Fire Department are helping with the investigation.

The vehicle was parked behind a large warehouse building. Not long before the explosion, a surveillance camera captured a pickup truck driving toward the back of the building, followed by a tow truck. The tow truck was towing a Volkswagen.

According to the search warrant filed this week, “An unknown type of explosion was placed on the driver’s seat of the Volkswagen. The blast pressure from the explosion tore the roof off the auto and launched it onto the second-story roof of a building approximately 100 feet away.”

Retired Doctor Wins Court Stay Against Medical Board for COVID-19 Narrative Challenge

A court in the state of Washington granted an emergency injunction to a retired doctor who is facing disciplinary action from the Washington Medical Commission (WMC) over articles he published in the Lewiston Morning Tribune in 2021 about COVID-19. The licensing board claimed that the articles contained “misinformation.”

Dr. Richard Eggleston challenged the disciplinary proceedings in court, claiming that they were a violation of his First Amendment rights. The injunction delayed the disciplinary hearing, which was scheduled for this week.

The WMC claimed that Eggleston “willfully misrepresented facts with regard to SARS-CoV-2.”

In one of the articles, Eggleston recommended ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine as treatments for COVID-19. In another, he criticized the WHO and other organizations promoting COVID-19 vaccines.

Texas House Votes to Impeach Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton

The Texas House of Representatives voted Saturday to impeach Republican Attorney General Ken Paxton over charges of bribery, disregard of official duties and abuse of public trust after hours of debate in an afternoon session — sending the case to the state Senate.

The House voted 121-23 to impeach him, meaning he will step down temporarily as he faces trial in the upper chamber. A simple majority was required to impeach him.

The House’s Committee on General Investigating had initiated an inquiry in March after Paxton and his office asked the legislature for $3.3 million to settle a wrongful termination lawsuit filed by whistleblowers in the office. The former employees had called in 2020 for an investigation into Paxton’s actions regarding an Austin real estate investor who had his home searched by the FBI. They accused Paxton of using his office to protect him by authorizing an investigation into the FBI.

The articles of impeachment allege that the settlement delayed the discovery of facts and testimony to Paxton’s advantage.

WinCo Stabbing Suspect Charged With First-Degree Murder

Ian Bramel-Allen, 43, was formally charged in Snohomish County Superior Court Thursday on one count of first-degree murder and one count of motor vehicle theft in connection with the April 19 fatal stabbing attack in the Edmonds WinCo parking lot near the intersection of Highway 99 and 220th Street Southwest. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Bramel-Allen is being held in the Snohomish County Jail in lieu of $1 million bond.

Bramel-Allen is accused of fatally stabbing 37-year-old Oregon resident Brett Northcutt at approximately 8:45 p.m. during a parking lot altercation, and subsequently driving off in the white Kia Sorrento that the victim had driven to WinCo.

According to charging documents filed with the court, after the stabbing, the suspect was last seen driving east on 220th Street Southwest in the direction of Interstate 5. Edmonds police quickly obtained and released the vehicle license number and photographic evidence from WinCo surveillance cameras. These led to recovery of the vehicle at 5:45 a.m. the next morning near Seattle’s Volunteer Park, and a subsequent citizen report that Bramel-Allen had been sighted near the park. Officers located him shortly before noon. He at first attempted to flee on foot, but when approached he stabbed himself in the neck multiple times before surrendering.

Bramel-Allen was transported to Harborview Hospital for treatment of his wounds, where he remained under guard until May 8 when he had recovered sufficiently to be transferred and booked into the Snohomish County Jail.

Ukraine Claims Russia Plotting ‘Large-Scale Provocation’ at Nuclear Power Plant

KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Ukraine’s military intelligence has claimed, without offering evidence, that Russia is plotting a “large-scale provocation” at a nuclear power plant it occupies in the southeast of the country with the aim of disrupting a looming Ukrainian counteroffensive.

A statement released Friday by the intelligence directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry claimed that Russian forces would strike the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, the biggest in Europe, and then report a radioactive leak in order to trigger an international probe that would pause the hostilities and give the Russian forces the respite they need to regroup ahead of the counter-offensive.

India: Islamist Radicals Attack Hindu Boy for Sharing Snacks With Muslim Girl in Karnataka

Karnataka’s Moral Policing Shocker: A Hindu youth was attacked and beaten by a group of Muslim men in Chikkaballapur for eating snacks at a food outlet with a Muslim girlfriend.

B Upendran | HENB | Bengaluru | May 26, 2023:: A group of Muslim men attacked a Hindu youth on Thursday in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur for eating snacks with his Muslim girlfriend, after they spotted the two eating snacks at a food outlet. The Muslim woman was also attacked by the group for visiting the food outlet with a Hindu man, police said.

The accused with his radicalised friends had noticed them when the youth and woman were having snacks at Gopika Chaats and realised that the man accompanying her was Hindu.

The Islamist group came to start a moral policing on the Muslim woman to reject her relationship with her Hindu friend and thrashed the Hindu youth. The woman came to rescue him and told the group attacking the youth that she knew him “very well”.

The group then started questioning her and told her that going out to a food outlet with a Hindu man was wrong and she should apologise for the same, according to IANS.

Police have obtained the video of the incident and are on the search to arrest the accused men.

In recent times, a new menace of Islamist mobs attacking Hindu-Muslim couples has come to light. Multiple videos have surfaced on social media where these Muslim extremists are seen harassing, abusing, molesting, and physically assaulting Hindu men and Muslim women when found they are in a friendship or relationship.

Reports say that Muslim mobs are going hostile after a Congreess’ victory in the recent Karnataka assembly election and they have started not paying bus fare in the public transport system and not paying electricity bills etc. as they think Muslims have played the key role for the victory of Congress in Karnataka and now cases of bullying over Hindus are also now surfaced here and there.

Danish High Court: Trans ‘Woman’ Must Serve Prison Sentence With Biological Males

Denmark’s Eastern High Court ruled on Wednesday, May 24th, that a Danish trans ‘woman’ inmate who changed his legal gender from male to female in 2015—but did not undergo a sex change operation—will be required to serve his prison sentence alongside biological males.

The court’s decision comes after the transgender inmate, a 62-year-old serving a sentence for aggravated rape among other things, brought a civil case against the Directorate of Correctional Services and Herstedvester Prison, claiming that having to serve time alongside biological men constitutes a civil rights violation, the Danish state-owned broadcaster TV 2 Nyheder reports.

In its ruling, the high court, whose decision was in line with the district court’s, stated that if the transgender inmate were to be transferred to a female prison he would pose a “not insignificant security risk for female inmates.”

Netherlands: ‘Anti-Homophobia’ Event Disrupted by Muslim Students

A school event against ‘homophobia’ and assorted ‘phobia’ offshoots in Genk, Belgium, was violently disrupted last week.

On Thursday, May 11th, a large group of students from the trade school ‘Atlas College Techniek & Innovatie’ shouted the Muslim phrase “Allahu akbar,” (God is great), with some assaulting two city employees and a volunteer from an LGBT advocacy group, operation OGWA (Ook Genks Wel Anders), who were there to mark the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, and Transphobia (IDAHOT), which is celebrated on May 17th.

The LGBT community celebrates that date because, on it in 1990, the World Health Organization excised homosexuality from its list of mental disorders.

However, not all among the diverse Belgian population appeared eager to join in the festivities.

As reported by Nieuwsblad, one of the assailed—kept anonymous—laid out how events unfolded that Thursday. During their yearly event, the person explained, they take to the playground during break to hand out flyers and rainbow hearts. “Not everyone always agrees with us, but yesterday the atmosphere took a grim turn. A group of young people gathered around our stand and started booing us.”

That number quickly swelled to over a hundred, after which “things got out of hand,” the individual continued. “They kept shouting, throwing bottles and spitting on the rainbow hearts.” When the bell rang, “most of the youngsters left for class and peace returned.”

    NEW GENDER ROLES & HUMAN SEXUALITY –

    The following text is an excerpt from Professor Emeritus in Ethnology, Karl Olof Arnsberg’s Sunday Chronicle of May 27, 2023.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Gender roles include men making invitations and women either rejecting or showing interest. As the saying goes: “Scared / pleasant / shy boys should never kiss beautiful girls”.
    From an evolutionary perspective, there is a big difference between rejecting men’s advances and many years later taking them to court for trying to take something that was the woman’s private property.
    When the risk of unwanted children is virtually non-existent for those who want to have sex and know how to protect themselves, pleasure is highlighted as the essential.
    Sexual liberation makes sexuality a drug alongside other drugs. It has always been a drug in the form of prostitution and masturbation, but when it becomes available as online pornography, the problem of STDs and the risks associated with prostitution (being caught, robbed, reported to the police, etc.) disappear. It becomes possible for both men and women to enjoy sexuality without a partner. An American study shows that about 30% of all online downloads are pornography. 40 million Americans regularly visit porn sites:
    Today, porn addiction, or problematic pornography use, affects about 3% to 6% of the adult population. Up to 65% of young adult men and 18% of young women report viewing pornography at least once a week, but that figure could be much higher.
    The new regulations not only make women difficult to interpret and men’s courtship risky, but they encourage men to seek a new male role, one that hopefully gives them easier and safer access to women’s capital. Some men try to copy women in the same way that women copy men. These are the ones we see in the famous/infamous picture of trade unionists in pussy hats. (I’m sure many of them are regretting their participation – that was just “a fun thing to do”).
    https://morklaggning.files.wordpress.com/2023/05/fittmossor.jpg
    The soft men are a mistake, because even though women say they like kind and empathetic men, they are not sexually turned on by the female male role. It is a poor male strategy for accessing the much sought-after female capital. Author Johan Heltne reflects on a relationship where the woman wanted to correct him:
    “A couple of years ago, I met a girl who, after only a few days, asked me if I couldn’t ‘make an effort with my table manners’. I sat a bit away from the table, one leg over the other, eating mostly with my fork and with the knife next to the plate – a quiet revolt against my father’s Lundsberg (overclass bording school) education. Weeks went by and the girl – we can call her Jasmine, a psychiatrist with a Jungian orientation – couldn’t help but comment on and want to correct this and that about me. I began to call this strange a desire to subjugate the world to one’s principles “feminism” (I had seen similar behavior in several girlfriends). With her wry sense of humor, Jasmine began to use the term herself, simultaneously delighted by her ability to get what she wanted and frightened by how dominant she could be: her great fear was to become like her mother. /…/ For a year and a half, I ticked lovingly through the boxes of “womanizing” before putting my foot down and issuing an ultimatum – either she had to see me not just as a diversion, but as a boyfriend with a joint future together, or it had to end. So be it, Jasmine thought. But why? I asked. Her answer: You are too adaptable.
    Another approach is taken by the Incel men (Involuntary Celibacy). Their rejection and dislike of women is similar to feminist man-hatred, except that women hate men on the basis that women are as good or better than men. In this way, they exploit the male society’s image of women as finer beings than men. An English rhyme:
    What are little boys made of? Frogs and snails and puppy dog tails.
    What are little girls made of? Sugar and spice and all things nice.
    The Incel men can also be said to be victims of a female winner takes it all, where women draw a sharp line downwards against men who are not good enough. They reserve their capital for beautiful high-status men and if there are not enough of them, rather than being with a low-status man, they choose to live single or togrther with a female partner. Further back in history, more women than men were forced into involuntary celibacy. With the new gender roles, this is now the turn of men.
    If we relate these new gender roles to the Darwinian ideal, they do not lead to happier people and better functioning societies but to the opposite. Feminist women are angry with men and guard their rights. They are often dissatisfied with both. Incel men turn their backs on women and soft men are at a real disadvantage. Real men do not play with the children in the sandbox. Immigrant men speak somewhat contemptuously of cowardly and wimpy “Swedes” who do not live up to the traditional male ideal. Men are warriors!
    Biological tolerance is great, but it is not infinite. From an evolutionary psychology perspective, there are basically two risks associated with extreme deviations from genetic instructions. One is unhappy, anxious and depressed people and mental health problems. The other is that these people stop reproducing. The life form they have chosen is not evolutionarily acceptable. Like other non-viable “mutations”, it turns out to be a mistake and perishes.
    The trans movement ends up there with its claim that gender is a social construct. As one of the great names in feminism, Germaine Greer, put it:
    “You don’t become a woman by cutting off your [member] and putting on a dress. If I ask my doctor to give me long ears and a liver-colored nose and wear a brown coat, I won’t become a [vulgar intensifier] cocker spaniel.
    In 2014, Japan’s population was estimated at 127 million. This figure is expected to drop to 107 million in 2040 and to 97 million in 2050, if current demographic trends continue. The fertility rate is only 1.42. The minimum reproduction rate for a population is 2.1. Many people blame this drastically low figure and the ageing of the population on the Soshoku Danshi, the herbivorous men (which does not necessarily mean they are vegetarians). The term was coined by author Maki Fukasawa, who wanted to describe a new form of masculinity, kind and gentle young men who cared more about their own appearance than about women. It received a lot of media attention, with a negative connotation. Anyone who has watched Japanese or Korean pop videos from a Western perspective knows that the popular image of men in Asia is more feminine than macho, full of makeup, stylized hairstyles and choreographed dance moves.
    In 2009, Japan released a TV drama, The Single Lady, in which one of the main characters struggles to understand sexual invitations, such as when a woman invites him to sleep with her. In the same year, singer and songwriter Gackt held a rock concert for men in an attempt to reinforce ‘male sexuality’ in Japanese society.
    In Japan, work and marriage are intertwined. Permanent work is seen as a sign of maturity, as men are supposed to be the breadwinners of the family. The view of freelancers as irresponsible and unmasculine fits well with many of the characteristics associated with herbivore men. These young men, with their lost masculinity, were made responsible not only for Japan’s declining birth rate but also for its stagnant economy.
    Today’s Japanese men are unmanly – and even worse, they don’t seem bothered by it. The female counterpart is the confident and active carnivorous women. Male herbivores and female carnivores. In other words, gender roles are reversed.
    Not only are herbivores generally passive when it comes to love, but they like to keep to themselves even if they have something to say. “I don’t like real women,” said one guy on Japan’s 2channel, the world’s largest and most active Internet message board. “They are too picky these days. I’d much rather have a virtual girlfriend.” Relationships are mendokusai, i.e. tiring and troublesome. It is better to do other things, like concentrating on your career or playing games on smart phones.
    For young women, the choice presented is an either-or proposition. Do you want a career or a marriage and family? You can’t have both. Many Japanese girls have grown up with a family life where their mother worked hard at home and took care of the family, while their father was a kind of drone, working long days and providing for the family but being socially absent. In the evenings he met his male friends and on weekends he pursued his own interests, such as playing golf. This life does not appeal to young women.
    In a 2011 survey of Japanese girls aged 16-19, 59% described themselves as indifferent or unwilling to have sex, while the figure for boys in the same age group was 36%. In a survey of a sample of 1,000 unmarried men aged between 20 and 30, 378 men responded that they were herbivores. 45.9% of respondents made it clear that even if they would not explicitly define themselves as herbivores, they preferred that designation to being classified as carnivores.
    There are signs that the West is going the way of Japan. In her book ‘iGen – Why Today’s Super-Connected Kids Are Growing Up Less Rebellious, More Tolerant, Less Happy-and Completely Unprepared for Adulthood-and What That Means for the Rest of Us (2017)’, sociologist Jennifer Twenge writes that the ‘smartphone generation’ born after 1995, who have never lived in a world without the internet, have a later sexual debut, live at home longer mainly due to a housing shortage created by left-wing liberals and socialists , are less promiscuous and do not have sex as often as the previous generation.
    The term ‘soy boy’ is used online to refer to men who lack true masculine characteristics. It’s a right-wing slur aimed at politically correct young men who like multiculturalism, think animal rights are important, care about the climate, are vegan and don’t drink real milk without soy. The latter is a reference to one of the slogans associated with Trump’s presidential campaign: “Real men drink milk”. Here is an image where it is not difficult to see where the inspiration comes from:
    https://morklaggning.files.wordpress.com/2023/05/soy.jpg
    Did it get messy and you wonder what I really want to say?
    Two things. One is that it is punishing to ignore the rules of evolutionism. Both in the West and in Asia, too few children are born for the populations to reproduce themselves. This problem has not affected Africa and South America, with more traditional gender roles. And secondly, we in thr West had a system that worked perfectly well in evolutionary terms: the monogamous couple formation of Christianity and the nuclear family as the building block of society. Was it too boring? Perhaps, but evolution is not given to making jokes.
    How to make soy milk
    Ingredients
    Here’s what you need to make soy milk:
    ½ cup dried soybeans (80 g)
    4 cups of water (1 l)
    ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract or a piece of vanilla bean (optional)
    Instructions
    Making homemade soy milk is super simple and can be broken down into 7 steps:
    Soak the soybeans in water overnight (preferably 12 hours or longer).
    Drain the soybeans and remove the outer shells. Removing the outer skins is optional, but your milk will have a better texture if you do.
    Mix the soybeans with 3 cups of water (750 ml) until well blended and almost smooth.
    Strain the blended mixture using a nut milk bag, a cheesecloth, a napkin, or a fine mesh strainer.
    Pour the mixture into a pot or saucepan and add 1 cup of water (250 ml). Bring to a boil, stirring and skimming foam.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes.
    Allow the soy milk to cool. You can add other ingredients such as vanilla extract or dates. Blend the mixture if necessary.
    The channel received a letter from
    stating that they have terminated Swebbtv’s accounts on the grounds that they do not have “sufficient customer knowledge”.
    “The bank’s actions are probably illegal and we regret the problems this may cause for us at Swebbtv as half of the donations we receive come in that way, via monthly transfers and bank transfers”, Mikael Willgert, CEO and editor-in-chief of Swebbtv, wrote on the website.
    Swebbtv has now arranged bank transfers and accounts in another bank, but still plans to sue Marginalen Bank.
    “We are now discussing with a lawyer who has experience with similar actions by banks and plan to contest the bank’s actions”, Willgert writes.
    Marginalen Bank
    has been criticized by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority for borrowing money from small Swedish savers and lending it to owner Ewa Glennow on dubious grounds, writes Affärsvärlden.
    According to Mikael Willgert, Swebbtv has been aware of the bank’s problematic governance and lending, but has not been able to change bank accounts because they have been presented in thousands of programs.
