Marjorie Taylor Greene Raises Alarm About Digital Cash: ‘Go Back to the Gold Standard’

Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has raised the alarm about Democrat President Joe Biden’s plans to replace physical cash with a “digital dollar.”

As Slay News has previously reported, Biden recently ordered the Federal Reserve to push forward with plans for a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

The move to digital cash raises major concerns about the lack of privacy and increased government control and surveillance over public spending.

In Biden’s vision, the digital currency will “advance democracies to lift people up, not to hold them down.”

However, a digital currency that’s controlled by the government is a tyrannical nightmare that is fresh out of George Orwell’s dystopian novel “1984.”

A Wisconsin lawmaker is questioning whether it was legal for a political action committee to pay people to encourage others to vote for liberal Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Janet Protasiewicz in the state Supreme Court election in the latest mobilization tactic to raise integrity concerns in the battleground state.

Wisconsin Takes Action, a project of Organizing Empowerment PAC, held live Zoom training sessions during the Wisconsin Supreme Court race, instructing potential “community mobilizers” on how to reach out to people to encourage them to vote and get paid hundreds of dollars for their outreach efforts.

Stewart responded by accusing the Biden administration of “f***ing corruption.”

Billionaire Investor Moves Headquarters From Democrat-Led State Over ‘Bizarre Reading of the Law’

Ken Fisher, the billionaire investor and chairman of Fisher Investments, made it clear on “Varney & Co.” Wednesday that the reasoning behind his latest business decision isn’t so much about politics or taxes, but rather law and order.

“We’ve got lots and lots and lots of states that have capital gains taxes on the left and on the right. California on the left at the highest, Arkansas, Alabama, Mississippi, on the left Illinois,” Fisher told host Stuart Varney. “You can go left, right, capital gains tax isn’t so much. This is about law. [Let me] be real clear. This is about law.”

The Washington Supreme Court recently upheld state lawmakers’ new capital gains tax in an effort to balance what was thought to be one of America’s most regressive tax codes.

FBI Documents Associate Internet Slang Like ‘Based’ And ‘Red Pill’ With ‘Extremism’

New documents released Monday warned that common internet lingo is being associated with “Violent Extremism” by the FBI.

The Heritage Foundation’s Oversight Project said it used a Freedom of Information Act request to expose FBI documents that include glossaries showing that common internet slang has been flagged as an indication of “Involuntary Celibate Violent Extremism” or “Racially or Ethnically Motivated Violent Extremism.”

Part of the document refers specifically to “incels,” or those “involuntary celibate,” whom the “threat overview” describes as possibly seeking to “commit violence in support of their beliefs that society unjustly denies them sexual or romantic attention, to which they believe they are entitled.” The assessment notes, “While most incels do not engage in violence,” some have been involved in “at least five lethal attacks in the United States and Canada.”

Imam Stabbed During Prayers at South Paterson Omar Mosque

PATERSON — The imam of a prominent Paterson mosque was stabbed just before 6 a.m. on Sunday as he led his congregation in morning prayers, officials said.

Around 200 people were attending prayers at the time of the attack, which happened as the prayer session began. The attacker was quickly restrained by other worshippers at the Omar Mosque on Getty Avenue in South Paterson, officials said.

At a press conference given at the mosque, officials said the attacker was not a member of the congregation but had been there before.

The suspect’s name had not been released as of noon on Sunday. Authorities have not said what they believe prompted the stabbing.

The imam, Sayed Elnakib, was in stable condition at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, officials said. Elnakib was stabbed twice in the back, officials said at the press conference.

Mayor: Prayer Leader Stabbed at Mosque in Paterson, Suspect in Custody

A person leading a prayer inside a mosque in Passaic County was stabbed early Sunday morning and taken to a hospital, Paterson Mayor Andre Sayegh says.

Police were called to the Omar Mosque on Getty Avenue in Paterson around 5:30 a.m.

It’s unclear what may have led up to the stabbing, but officials do not believe this was a hate crime. The suspect is also Muslim and was not a member of the mosque, but “occasionally comes to pray” there.

The victim has been identified as Imam Sayed Elnakib, who was leading the prayer. He is in serious but stable condition as of early Sunday afternoon.

About 200 worshippers had kneeled down when the suspect lunged toward Elnakib and stabbed him twice in the back.

The congregants quickly apprehended the suspect after he tried to run out of the mosque, while many catered to the victim’s injuries until police arrived.

The stabbing comes on the heels of an ongoing investigation in Paterson after a sign at Dr. Hani Awadallah School was defaced. The “allah” was scribbled over in black markings.

Those in attendance Sunday said this would not stop them from continuing prayer throughout the day. There will be a significant police presence at the mosque throughout the day.

Pennsylvania Voters Spurn ‘Scranton Joe’ In Favor of Trump, DeSantis, Poll Shows

More Pennsylvania voters want former President Donald Trump or Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis to run for President than President Joe Biden, despite the fact he has the affectionate nickname “Scranton Joe” after his birth town in the state, according to a new poll.

The Commonwealth Foundation, a group promoting free markets in Pennsylvania, found in a survey last week that 34% of registered voters in the state want Trump to run for President in 2024, followed by 26% who want DeSantis to run. Biden, however, earned 24% in the poll that allowed respondents to select all candidates that they want to see run. Close behind Biden is Democratic Gov. Josh Shapiro at 20%. Out of the four top potential candidates, only Trump has formally declared his presidential campaign for 2024.

Prosecutors Think Colorado Supermarket Shooter is Faking the Crazy

Back in March 2021, a man named Ahmad Al Issa walked into a King Soopers supermarket in Boulder, Colo., and murdered ten people. Ever since then, he has been in a mental hospital, having been judged incompetent to stand trial. Now, however, prosecutors are planning to make the case that Al Issa is faking his mental illness, and is perfectly capable of understanding the charges against him and going through a trial. But that’s just the beginning of all that’s curious about this case.

Boulder’s KDVR reported Thursday that District Judge Ingrid S. Bakke “will let prosecutors make their case that the suspected shooter — who’s currently in a state mental health hospital — is ‘feigning’ his condition.” KDVR added that “Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa is charged with 115 counts in the March 2021 shooting that killed 10 people, including a responding police officer.” There’s another curiosity about this case: the establishment media routinely and unanimously gives the shooter’s name as “Alissa,” despite the fact that he himself wrote it as “Al Issa” on his Facebook and Twitter accounts. Is the media trying to obscure Al Issa’s Arabic and Islamic identity? “Journalists” wouldn’t do that, now, would they?

Republicans Warned of ‘Dangerous’ Proposals in ‘Alarmist’ UN Climate Report

Congressional Republicans have received a warning about several “dangerous” proposals contained in the United Nations’ new “alarmist report” on climate change.

Guterres warned that the global green agenda must be advanced to prevent an alleged “climate time bomb.”

But a memo sent by the Competitive Enterprise Institute offered Republicans talking points for refuting the UN’s findings.

Canada Pushes to Legalize Hard Drugs for Children

Canada’s liberal federal government is considering plans to legalize hard drugs for children.

The proposal was put to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet by the “woke” administration of Toronto.

The plan would see the Canadian government authorize the decriminalization of all drugs for all ages, including underage children and babies.

Under the proposal, young children would be free to use dangerous hard drugs, including heroin, crack cocaine, and fentanyl.

TNC reports:

The City of Toronto has released its sweeping plan to decriminalize all hard drugs, including fentanyl and crack cocaine for any age.

Toronto’s request is even more lenient than the decriminalization order granted to the entire province of British Columbia by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau earlier this year.

The City is asking that the federal government grant a Health Canada exemption for all drugs extending even to children.

In British Columbia’s case, the granted exemption only applies to adults.

The report claims that decriminalization should be offered for “all people in Toronto, including youth.”

Explaining Bill C-18 and Trudeau’s Wide-Ranging Plans to Destroy Canadian Free Speech

Bill C-18, the Online News Act. Just like C-11 makes social media companies broadcasters for Trudeau to regulate, Bill C-18 creates a new thing called “digital intermediaries,” the definition of which will include pretty much every social media platform and search engine.

C-18 attempts to force these sites to pay news organizations that they link to, for example in a Google search. Even though news organizations usually love being linked to regardless, since it boosts their traffic.

Though the government claims this will make it harder for search engines and social media platforms to “steal” local journalism, this only applies to what they are calling “qualified Canadian journalism organizations.” And of course, the government gets to decide who’s qualified. As for Rebel News, the Trudeau government bizarrely declared that what we do… doesn’t qualify as news.

Jury Cautioned About Racism in Trial of Syrian Refugee Accused of Killing 13-Year-Old Marrisa Shen

After nearly six years, and at least six pre-trial delays, the murder trial for a Syrian refugee accused of killing 13-year-old Marrisa Shen finally began on Wednesday.

Shen, from Burnaby, British Columbia and who was described as a bright and creative young girl, was reported missing by her parents on July 18, 2017. The following day, her body was found in a wooded area of Burnaby’s Central Park leaving many in the community devastated.

Then, 14 months later, Ibrahim Ali, a Syrian refugee who had arrived in Canada and was welcomed with open arms by the Trudeau government, was arrested and charged with the first degree murder of Shen.

“I did not kill Marrisa Shen” Ali, stated adamantly in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. Ali’s words were spoken through a translator that sat by his side the entire hearing. The translator communicated in Kurdish everything that was said in court to Ali. He also communicated the few but repetitive words that Ali had to say in Kurdish to the court.

Typical Atlantic Canada Households Will Pay at Least $1,316 in Carbon Tax by 2030: Report

Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO) Yves Giroux updated his federal carbon tax report from March 2022 to include Atlantic Canada. On average, most residents and households will pay more carbon tax than they receive in climate rebates.

“Most households will be worse off when considering this slightly lower economic activity,” said Giroux. “Only the bottom quintile is better off, but everybody else is likely worse.”

The PBO said Nova Scotia families from the lowest earning quintile would receive $226 in federal rebates, whereas the highest earners would pay $4,368 annually in 2030/31. A similar family from Newfoundland and Labrador would receive $689, with the province’s highest earners paying $4,872 in 2030/31.

Vaccine Injured Woman Navigates a Bloated Health Bureaucracy to Have Her Adverse Event Documented

Meredith Klitzke recently testified at the National Citizens Hearing in Toronto, Ontario.

She detailed her experience navigating a COVID-19 vaccine injury — an injection which she says she was hesitant about but ultimately succumbed to peer pressure and media propaganda to receive.

“It pushed me to the point where it made me question my own judgment,” Klitzke said. “I was pushed to make a decision that I whole-heartedly regret.”

Klitzke said she received her first Pfizer injection on June 18 and second dose on August 13 2021.

“Within two weeks, everything went haywire — swelling, joint pain, muscle spasms, tremors, tinnitus, pressure in my head, burning in my chest, menstrual issues, burning mouth syndrome — it’s been horrific,” she said.

Vancouver Clears Out ‘Tent City’ In East Hastings Amid Growing Public Safety Concerns

Vancouver city staff and police cleared out the remnants of the East Hastings tent city Wednesday after nine months of subpar progress using softer methods.

“We’re not solving homelessness today. We’re dealing with a serious public-safety issue,” said city manager Paul Mochrie.

Vancouver Police Chief Adam Palmer and Vancouver Fire Chief Karen Fry concurred the “entrenched” camp had contributed to more violent crime, fires, and dangerous situations the public could no longer tolerate after an order last July 25 called for the city to remove the structures, earning support from city crews and police.

Macron Says Europe Should Reduce Dependence on US Dollar, Seek ‘Strategic Autonomy’

As the United States combats a recent flood of countries ‘de-dollarizing’ — trading commodities in other currencies, the last thing that was needed was French President Emanuel Macron amplifying this message.

After spending around six hours with Chinese President Xi Jinping as part of a three-day state visit to China, Macron made extremely clear that France wants nothing to do with WWIII, emphasizing that Europe must employ “strategic autonomy,” presumably led by France, to become a “third superpower,” according to Politico.

“Nearly everyone in Switzerland has been vaccinated and/or contracted and recovered from COVID-19. Their immune system has therefore been exposed to the coronavirus,” the Swiss health agency said.

Health officials predicted that the virus will circulate less this summer and cause “rather mild illness.”

Passover’s Revolt Against the Tyranny of Paganism

by Daniel Greenfield

Over 3,000 years ago a slave revolt took place that is repeated every year. It was not just a rebellion against a long since vanished pharaoh whose dynasty and people have been consigned to dust along with his treasure cities that the Jewish slaves had labored over.

The revolutions of the past come and go. Nations rise and fall, and then fall further into the history books. Passover however was a remarkable revolt not just against an empire, but paganism, and it remains relevant even all these thousands of years later. In a recent poll, only 39% said that religion was very important to them. That’s down from 62% a generation ago.

When faith in G-d leaves, what replaces it isn’t some abstraction of ‘reason’: it’s superstition (37% of adults under 30 believe in astrology), cults of personality, conspiracy theories and the conviction that we are now gods who can destroy the planet and change gender at will.

The story of Passover is a testament of faith: it’s the account of an absolutely degraded people still continuing to believe for centuries and later millennia that their salvation, passed down by tradition, would come from a G-d they had never seen or heard, but it’s also the revelation that slavery is not just physical, it’s spiritual. Just as true liberation comes from G-d, true slavery comes when we abandon faith and degrade ourselves under the soulless tyranny of paganism.

The latest World Happiness Report index rated Israel as the fourth happiest in the world. Or as Haaretz, a relentlessly leftist local paper skeptically put it, “Low Income, High Prices and Wars: So Why Is Israel One of the Happiest Countries in the World?” What’s there to be happy about?

To leftists who believe the world is fatally broken, nothing, to believers, everything.

Last year, a survey found that 96% of Israeli Jews are planning on attending a Passover seder. In America, it’s around 70%. Properly performed, the Seder is an emotional and historical journey that takes Jews back in time to the suffering in Egypt, the divine salvation and the realization that no matter their current circumstances, G-d has permanently set them free.

It was in this spirit that the Passover seder was marked during the Holocaust with furtive gatherings in the forest, in concentration camps with tiny matzos baked from hoarded grams of flour, and with wine made of raisins soaked in water, and in hideouts beneath ghettos, yet still declaring, “now we are free” and “next year in Jerusalem”. Such freedom transcends force…

Canada: Religious Liberty Nonprofit Blasts Bill Banning Protests Near Drag Shows: ‘Deranged Parody of Public Law’

The founder and president of a nonprofit that advocates for religious liberty in Canada blasted a proposed law in Ontario that would criminalize protests and “offensive remarks” within a football field-sized area around drag shows and other LGBTQ events.

“Liberty Coalition Canada is gravely disturbed about the rapid changes in our legal climate in Canada,” Michael Thiessen, founder and president of Liberty Coalition Canada, told Fox News Digital.

Kristyn Wong-Tam, a member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, last week introduced the “Protecting 2SLGBTQI+ Communities Act,” which would empower Ontario’s attorney general to establish 100-meter “safety zones” around drag shows and other LGBTQ events. The provincial bill would make harassment, intimidation and “offensive remarks” punishable by fines up to $25,000.

Canada: Protest at the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board

About a month ago, during an Ottawa Carleton District School board meeting, a father, Nick Morabito, was labelled as transphobic for expressing safety concerns for his young pre-teen daughters around the implementation of a school policy that allows anyone who self-identifies as female to use the gendered washroom.

His mic was cut before his time by Ottawa progressive public school trustee Dr. Nili Kaplan Myrth.

She mentioned that the speech of this dad was creating an unsafe environment for people who identify as gender diverse.

You can sign the petition to see Nili Kaplan Myrth being removed of her function at FireNili.com.

Since then the situation has escalated. Multiple protesters from all sides have converged in front of the building where the meeting was held.

Chico School Board Upholds ‘Parental Secrecy Policy’ Regarding Students’ Gender Identity

Wednesday evening the Chico Unified School Board in Chico, California voted 3-2 in favor of schools having the ability to keep secrets from parents. The board agreed to keep their current policy, which directs staff to not reveal a child’s gender identity to parents, it instead allows a child to determine when the school is allowed to tell parents about a change in their gender identity.

According to a report from Fox News, the policy, called the “parental secrecy policy” by the school board, came up for a vote after the Center for American Liberty filed a lawsuit against the school district. The lawsuit was brought on behalf of Aurora Regino who told her story to the school board before the vote. The suit alleges that a school guidance counselor in the district helped Region’s 11-year old daughter transition without her knowledge or consent.

Half of America’s Top-Selling Beers Have Gone ‘Woke’

Anheuser-Busch went super ‘woke’ last week when their marketing team collaborated with trans-TikTok influencer Dylan Mulvaney to promote Bud Light. A new analysis by Newsweek found Bud Light isn’t the only major brewing company partnering with LGBTQ+ groups.

Based on shipping data from Beer Marketer’s Insights and analyzed by 24/7 Wall Street, the top 10 best-selling beers in the US include Bud Light, Coors Light, Budweiser, Miller Lite, Corona Extra, Michelob Ultra, Modelo Especial, Natural Light, Busch Light, and Busch.

Newsweek said of that list, half of the top-selling beers, including Coors Light, Budweiser, Miller Lite, and Michelob Ultra, have all run pro-LGBTQ+ campaigns; however, none garnered as much attention or backlash as Bud Light’s collaboration with Dylan Mulvaney.

Meet the “Woke” Rating Score Prompting Brands Like Nike and Bud to Hire Trans Influencers for Ads

We may finally have an answer to why Budweiser knowingly decided to torch its brand and its customer base by entrusting its marketing and ad strategy to a man in a women’s clothing drinking beer in a bubble bath. Like everyone else, it appears it’s simply to try and appease the “woke” lobby, likely in hopes of preventing them from “turning” on their brand for not being diverse enough.

Now, during the slow ongoing death of ESG — there’s apparently yet another scorecard that companies are striving to abide by in order to make sure they are adhering to society’s expectations as it relates to virtue signaling.

It’s called the Corporate Equality Index — or CEI — score, according to a new report from the NY Post. And it’s the reason that companies like Nike and Anheuser-Busch are committing brand suicide hiring people like trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

New York Legislature Poised to Pass Bill Outlawing ‘Fat Discrimination’

Via the New York Times:

Victoria Abraham has attracted a huge online following as a self-described fat activist who preaches body positivity and calls out bias. But after graduating from New York University last year with a degree in public policy, she cannot avoid wondering if her job search will be hampered by her size.

This little social engineering effort is already off to a cancerous start within the first paragraph, and calls into serious question the utility of “public policy” faculties in American universities. Their graduates emerge into the world with an insatiable appetite for legislating the world into compliance with whatever personal pet project they wish to impose on the world — in this case, “fat positivity.”
