UK Inflation Remains Stubbornly High at 10.1%

U.K. inflation remained in the double digits last month, falling from 10.4 percent to 10.1 percent in March, as food and drink prices continued to soar at the fastest annual rate since 1977.

The decline was less than expected by city economists, who had predicted inflation would fall to 9.8 percent, but it remains lower than its recent peak of 11.1 percent recorded in October last year.

A decrease in fuel prices contributed to the lower rate, but household gas, electricity, and food and drink all remain an area of concern. Food and drink costs saw an inflation rate of 19.2 percent, a 45-year high.

2 Teens Arrested in Alabama Sweet 16 Shooting That Killed 4 and Injured 32

Four people were killed and 32 injured in the gunfire that erupted at the celebration.

DADEVILLE, Ala. — A pair of teenage brothers were arrested in connection with a shooting that left four people dead and 32 injured at a weekend Sweet 16, authorities said Wednesday.

The boys, 16-year-old Travis McCullough and 17-year-old Ty Reik McCullough from Tuskegee, were taken into custody on charges of reckless murder on Tuesday night, Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Sgt. Jeremy Burkett told reporters.

The teens are being charged as adults.

Prosecutors and police revealed few details on the arrest, such as the weapons used or possible motive for the attack. The suspects are brothers, an FBI spokesperson said.

Gunfire erupted at 10:34 p.m. Saturday at a dance studio on Broadnax Street in Dadeville where friends and family were celebrating the birthday of a 16-year-old girl, police said.

Affidavit Says Andrew Lester Was “Scared to Death” by Teen Trying to Pull Open His Door at Night

Lester told police that Ralph Yarl was pulling on the exterior door of his Kansas City, Missouri home in an apparent attempt to break in, prompting him to grab his revolver and shoot the teenager, who is expected to make a full recovery.

The elderly man told cops “he believed he was protecting himself from a physical confrontation and could not take the chance” of the large male “coming in” to his house where he lives all alone, according to the police affidavit.

However, following White House involvement (Joe Biden even met with the injured teen’s family), BLM protests and a concerted media outrage campaign, Lester’s chances of a fair trial are basically non-existent.

The narrative has now been set that Yarl was merely ‘ringing the wrong doorbell’ and that Lester’s reaction was extreme and possibly driven by racism.

Alex Berenson Says Lawsuit Against Biden, Pfizer Could Reveal Internal Communications About COVID Vaccine

Journalist Alex Berenson believes his First Amendment rights were violated when he was banned from Twitter for expressing concerns about the COVID vaccine, and a lawsuit against President Biden, White House officials and Pfizer honchos who allegedly pushed for his removal could expose their internal communications about the polarizing jab.

“People may remember that in 2021, the White House was very, very vocal publicly about, you know, quote unquote, disinformation. Anybody who raised questions about the vaccines, they were trying to get social media companies to take action broadly against them,” Berenson told Fox News Digital.

“What I didn’t know until last year [was] that they had specifically targeted me,” he continued. “So, this lawsuit basically aims to hold these people accountable for what they did for violating my First Amendment rights.”

Big Tech Companies Are Scooping Up Former DOJ-Employees as Antitrust Fight Continues

The “revolving door” practice in the US — considered as shady at best by many critics — involves government officials and execs and employees from corporations, notably Big Tech, “switching” jobs by joining the other sector.

They inevitably take a lot of knowledge about the one they left with them, and now an analysis by the American Accountability Foundation (AAF) is revealing the sheer scale of some of these “revolving door” instances.

When it comes to the Department of Justice (DoJ) alone — and that’s the one that is spearheading legal initiatives around alleged Big Tech antitrust and other unlawful policies — at least 360 of its former employees have found (past and present) roles with Google, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, and HP, and this has been documented to have been going on since 2000.

The shooting unfolded in early Tuesday outside an H-E-B supermarket in Elgin, Texas, as four girls were heading home after cheerleading practice.

The Texas cheerleader who was shot after a friend mistakenly got into the wrong car in a supermarket parking lot is now recovering in the ICU, her father said in an interview Wednesday. The star athlete, born with just one lung, is described by her dad as “tough as they come.”

Soros-Backed Prosecutor’s Office Under Fire for Murder Case No-Show as Trial Set for Potential Removal

A George Soros-bankrolled prosecutor in St. Louis already facing a legal effort by Missouri’s attorney general to fire her for allegedly neglecting her duties may also be held in criminal contempt of court after no one from her office showed up for a murder trial, adding further fuel to the push to oust her.

St. Louis Circuit Attorney Kimberly Gardner, a Democrat, is fighting to hold onto her position as Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, a Republican, seeks to remove her from office, claiming the city’s top prosecutor isn’t enforcing the law or protecting public safety.

Teams of lawyers representing both sides appeared in a St. Louis courtroom on Tuesday for a marathon hearing focused on whether Bailey’s lawsuit should be dismissed and what evidence city prosecutors must provide to the state. The arguments went on for over four hours, with Judge John Torbitzky ultimately saying he’ll make a decision on most of the issues at a later time. He also set a tentative trial date for Sept. 25.

Unvaccinated Woman Denied Organ Transplant Proves Natural Immunity in Bid for Life-Saving Procedure

Agriculture Minister Yavor Gechev told reporters that Sofia is following the example of fellow European Union members Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia, adding that Bulgaria’s market was “really saturated enough with crops.”

I must admit that I have long been looking for the first unmistakable signs of the World Economic Forum’s “New World Order” project.

But now there is no longer any excuse for not recognizing that something is threatening Europe in more than one respect.

Ursula von der Leyen is there this time in the name of “climate”. Well, what else? Now they can no longer bang the drum of “covid pandemic” and run off with poisonous syringes, as too many of the more educated know and understand the backstory.

But now the faithful servant of the faithful is once again being pulled out of the stands, namely the climate, because it is always good to have a plan B. This is why the EU has adopted a text that questions private property rights.

Let us make it clear from the outset that the global warming claim has a particularly large number of skeptics and outright opponents, including many scientists.

“For the construction sector to be climate neutral by 2050, all new buildings must have zero emissions by 2028. On the A to G energy scale, existing residential buildings must now have at least class E by 2030 and at least class D by 2033.

Class G buildings are those in the worst condition, representing 15% of the buildings in the Member States”.

The energy classes are nothing new, but now all buildings must be climate acceptable by 2050 and “all dwellings must be at least class E by 2030, while all buildings must be at least class D by 2033”. How was this supposed to be achieved?

What happens if this plan cannot be followed? And what happens to buildings that are classified as class G? Will people be evicted? Think for a moment.

It just sounds too crazy. But we are also in the company of madmen and we should report it as soon as possible.

Besides, if you want to sell your house/apartment, you will be in a hurry. It cannot be sold – or bought – after the closing date.

The same applies to tenancies in apartments or houses. If you do not respect EU rules, the property cannot be rented out.

And to be sure to make it hell for ordinary people, it should be added that “heating with coal, fuel oil or gas will be prohibited, as will the construction of thermal power vehicles”.

So we will have to cover our roofs with solar panels or wind turbines and get used to power cuts when there is no sun or wind.

This could look like expropriation in the classic sense. But how can the EU command center make such decisions in the Member States? When did we hand over this decision-making power to the EU?

Even if it is a question of deciding whether or not there should be flower-lined roadsides along highways, it is a matter for the EU.

An unelected German person with no competence whatsoever has taken over the jurisdiction of European sovereign countries.

    This is absurd!

  2. Wait a minute! When the twin towers collapsed a floor and then pancaked their way down floor by floor, people said that was impossible. Is it just parking structures that pancake? What other building types (excluding towers, of course) are capable of this?
