We Have Not Given Up on Fighting Cost of Living Crisis Claims Czech PM

Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala has rejected claims his government has given up on stopping the ever-rising rate of inflation affecting the nation.

In an interview with the Novinky.cz news outlet, the Czech leader insisted his administration “certainly did not give up” on tackling the country’s cost of living crisis and assured readers that his government would not make the same mistakes as his predecessor.

“When we took over the government, one of the first steps we made was to prepare an anti-inflation budget,” Fiala noted. “We took over the budget prepared by the previous government, which had a much higher deficit. However, we reduced it by almost 100 billion korunas (€4 billion),” the prime minister added.

Body of Oakland Woman Killed by Boyfriend 18 Years Ago Found

OAKLAND — The body of a missing Oakland woman killed nearly 18 years ago by her then-boyfriend was found by construction workers in a shallow grave, authorities said.

Cynthia Alonzo, then 48, was last seen getting into the car of Eric Mora on Thanksgiving Day 2004. Alonzo and her then-boyfriend were going to her mother’s house in San Francisco but she was never seen again, the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office said in a statement Wednesday.

On May 4, a work crew at the corner of 7th and Maritime streets on the Oakland Army Base uncovered a body wrapped in tarps in a shallow grave. The Alameda County Coroner’s Office conducted an autopsy and confirmed it was Alonzo’s body.

Mora was tried and convicted of second-degree murder in March of 2012 and sentenced to 15 years to life. In March 2016, his case was returned to Alameda County for trial and in October of that year Mora confessed to killing Alonzo and provided the general location of her buried body but an extensive search by officials couldn’t find it, the office said..

Florida Targets Critical Race Theory, Social Justice in Social Studies Books

The department posted to its website a 29-page document that lists criteria for what is expected to be included in the books — and what’s expected to be left out.

“Critical race theory, social justice, culturally responsive teaching, social and emotional learning, and any other unsolicited theories that may lead to student indoctrination are prohibited,” part of the document said, citing state education standards.

Two Shot at Kent County High School Graduation

Two people were shot after a graduation ceremony at East Kentwood High School in Kent County, authorities said Thursday.

One victim was a 40-year-old woman from Grand Rapids who was shot in the abdomen and the wrist, and had “serious wounds,” Sheriff Michelle LaJoye-Young said during a news conference Thursday night. The other was a 16-year-old boy from Texas who was shot in the wrist.

The victims were not related to each other, LaJoye-Young said. Both were in stable condition.

The shooting took place Thursday evening in the parking lot at East Kentwood High School in Kentwood after a graduation ceremony. The graduation was for Crossroads Alternative High School, part of the Kentwood Public Schools district.

LaJoye-Young said there were two suspects in white sedans. Little is known about them, she said, but police were reviewing video and photos of the suspects. The connection between the suspects and the victims was unclear.

She said there was no reason to believe the suspects were coming back to the area, adding she did not believe there was any additional public threat.

“A celebration like this is something that brings families together and makes us feel close to our community, with pride for our young people and what they’re accomplishing,” LaJoye-Young said. “This is very difficult to have happen in this community at this moment of celebration…

Watch: Ron DeSantis Puts on an Absolute Clinic After Florida Dem Compares Him to Communist Dictators

The rise in popularity among leftists — especially with younger generations — for admitted socialists like Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) has been a cause for great concern with Republicans including Hispanics who reside in South Florida who are all too familiar with the brutal regimes in the Communist countries from which they and their ancestors fled, like Cuba.

In fact, the escalating concerns among those same South Floridians for the growing acceptance of communistic/socialistic ideals within the Democratic party are in part what has helped Republicans like former President Donald Trump thrive in the state, with Trump winning it in both 2016 and 2020 to the great dismay of Democrats who once treated Florida like it was their back pocket.

It’s also greatly aided in the popularity of Gov. Ron DeSantis, who has made it a point during his time in office both as a member of Congress and as Governor to denounce communism and socialism and express solidarity with those in his state and around the world who have experienced its evil brutality firsthand, as he did last Monday when he signed into law a bill that established November 7th as “Victims of Communism Day” in the state.

Opportunist Ukrainians Raid Poland’s Second-Hand Car Market Due to Abolition of Customs Charges

In February of this year, a huge wave of refugees flowed into Poland as a result of the war. More than 3 million people from Ukraine arrived in Poland, but now the trend is reversing as thousands of Ukrainians are seen queuing in an 11 kilometer-long cavalcade on the Polish-Ukrainian border to re-enter the war-torn nation — estimates suggest it will take over five days to clear the backlog.

This phenomenon has little to do with the war receding or a return home, it is due to the fact that, as a result of martial law being imposed in Ukraine, the state has abolished customs charges and VAT on second-hand cars, and Ukrainians are rushing to cash in before the regulations change.

Demand for second-hand cars in Poland is high and they are often sold within minutes of arriving on the market. Soon, demand for second-hand cars in Poland will exceed supply, but a bottleneck is developing on the Polish-Ukrainian border as thousands of cars wait to get across. This has reportedly not dissuaded Ukrainians who are are buying second-hand cars by the caseload.

UK: Boris Govt Wants to Ban ‘Middle-Class Coke Heads’ From Football, Confiscate Passports

Boris Johnson’s government is proposing new punishments for the “middle-class coke heads” fuelling “gang violence and turf wars”, such as requiring them to surrender their passports when their football team is playing abroad.

“We will propose new punishments for so-called ‘recreational’ users who continue to flout the law, and for those who continue to offend, these sanctions will get increasingly painful,” wrote Christopher ‘Kit’ Malthouse MP, the Minister of State with responsibility for policing at the Priti Patel-led Home Office, in an article for The Telegraph — although the rarely imposed maximum penalty for possession of class ‘A’ drugs in England is already up to seven years in prison and/or an unlimited fine.

UK: University Cancels Sonnets Because They’re a Product of ‘White Western Culture’

Are you revolted by the racism of rhyme? Are you put off by the prejudice of iambic pentameter? If so, the University of Salford might be for you.

The Greater Manchester, England school recently took stock of its literary licentiousness, and as a result, it sunsetted sonnets.

Per university documents, the public institution nixed “pre-established literary forms” from a creative writing exam, because they’re a product of whiteness.

In order to ax oppression, Salford aims to “decolonize the curriculum.”

Some may not have realized sonnets were sinister, but one might only digest the definition in order to peer into perniciousness.

Latest News in the Russia-Ukraine War

Ukraine: A Russian soldier facing prosecution, and the wife of the man he shot, testified in the first war-crimes trial since the Russian invasion. As the latest, likely protracted phase of the war continued, Ukraine’s military said it had largely fended off counterattacks in the northeast.

Washington: The Senate passed a nearly $40 billion military and economic aid package for Ukraine. President Biden, hosting leaders from Sweden and Finland, voiced support for their bids to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

G-7: The world’s richest economies are hoping to agree on an emergency economic-aid plan for Ukraine this week after the U.S. pressed its allies to provide the beleaguered country with more financial support.

Russia: As setbacks on the battlefield have mounted, critical voices in Russia have grown louder. A second Russian civilian was reported killed by shelling from across the Ukrainian border, one week after the first civilian death on Russian territory was said to have occurred.

The U.K. introduced new sanctions against Russian airlines. McDonald’s Corp. has agreed to sell its Russian business to a licensee as it exits the market.

United Nations: Russia rejected calls to halt a Black Sea blockade that has prevented Ukraine from shipping grain to world markets, as Security Council members discussed global food security. Secretary-General António Guterres warned before the meeting of the prospect of mass hunger and famine.

Concerning ‘China’s Master Plan to Destroy America’

China has been unabashed about making its intentions known. Already in 1999, two colonels in China’s People’s Liberation Army, Qiao Liang and Wang Xiansui, wrote, “Unrestricted Warfare: China’s Master Plan to Destroy America.” In it, the authors “suggest the significance of alternatives to direct military confrontation, including international policy, economic warfare, attacks on digital infrastructure and networks, and terrorism. Even a relatively insignificant state can incapacitate a far more powerful enemy by applying pressure to their economic and political systems.” Ideally, “one might not even know that one is the target.”

There seem to be so many policy decisions now that would appear to help America’s adversaries such as Russia and especially China, rather than what is best for America, that, on February 2, 2022, the Republican Leader of the House of Representatives, Kevin McCarthy — despite a disagreement with former President Donald Trump and a subsequent “genuflection” by way of apology — after mentioning the current administration’s “self-created crises,” noted that “Almost every page,” of the Biden Administration’s 3000 page America Competes Act “has a provision that helps China but hurts America.”

Brazil: Bolsonaro Seeks Abuse of Power Probe Against Judge Ordering ‘Fake News’ Raids

Brazil’s conservative President Jair Bolsonaro turned to the Prosecutor General’s office to investigate top judge Alexandre de Moraes for abuse of power on Wednesday in response to de Moraes ordering violent raids against comedians, journalists, and Youtubers over alleged dissemination of “fake news.”

De Moraes formally holds one of 11 seats on the Supreme Federal Tribunal (STF), Brazil’s top court. Unlike the U.S. Supreme Court, the STF has far broader authority than simply being the federal court of last resort — it can order arrests and prosecute individuals.

Czechia Tightens Its Entry Conditions for Ukrainian Refugees

An amendment to the law on the residence of Ukrainian refugees in Czechia will explicitly reject the temporary protection for the citizens of the European Union, the country’s Deputy Prime Minister Vit Rakusan told a press conference on Wednesday following a government meeting to discuss the proposal.

The Czech government proposes implementing measures which will extend the time limit for processing an application for temporary asylum to 60 days, but will reduce the time a refugee has to report a change of residence from 15 days to just 3.

Applicants for temporary refuge in Czechia for Ukrainians will have to prove that they have secured accommodation if they do not have housing provided by a regional assistance center.

UK: Channel Migrant Among First to be Told He’s Going to Rwanda Says He Will Kill Himself Rather Than be Sent Back to Africa

A Sudanese asylum seeker among the first destined for Rwanda said he is prepared to kill himself rather than be sent to the east African nation.

The trainee engineer said he had grave fears about being sent to Rwanda as part of the UK Government’s new and controversial asylum policy, largely down to its reputation for human rights.

It comes as campaigners were boosted by confirmation that flights would not go ahead by the end of this month, as originally signalled by Boris Johnson, following action from charities concerned about the policy.

  2. THE WAY INTO NATO

Feminist chaos may have lowered Swedish NATO application

Published 20 May 2022 at 08.03 in Fria Tider

It was supposed to be a “historic moment” for the Western establishment. But Saturday’s NATO meeting in Berlin ended in chaos when Foreign Minister Ann Linde (S) began accusing Turkey of trying to sink her “feminist foreign policy” and the Turkish member was forced to raise her voice to end a cascade of PR blather from the Swedish government.
    – It was embarrassing, a diplomatic source told Reuters.

Defence chief: Russia may attack Sweden

Sweden and Finland to apply to Nato at the same time
    Show all
During the evening meeting in Berlin on Saturday, Turkey’s Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu got into a crisis-ridden and noisy row with his Swedish counterpart Ann Linde (S).

When Linde started ranting about feminism and accusing Turkey of opposing Sweden’s NATO application in order to undermine Swedish “feminist foreign policy”, the Turk had enough.

In a Reuters telegram that has not been reproduced in the Swedish media, the news agency describes how Cavusoglu started yelling at Ann Linde (S) and putting forward a series of demands for Turkey to agree to send a NATO invitation to Sweden.

Three NATO diplomats described the incident as an “embarrassing breach of the order of meetings”.

    – For us it was a historic moment, but Cavusoglu was annoyed at the way Linde’s “feminist foreign policy” brought so much drama, one of them told Reuters.

According to the news agency, the incident led to a “tense atmosphere” spreading at the German foreign ministry in Berlin. Many of the allies chose to rely on literally quiet diplomacy while they waited for the situation to calm down.

    – We tried to figure out what our Turkish partner was up to. And by that I mean what he was really after,” one of the diplomats said, summing up:

    – It was embarrassing.

According to Turkey, Ann Linde’s comments were of such a nature that they “will not facilitate the Swedish NATO ambitions”, while Finland’s wording was more considered.

Whether Ann Linde’s lecturing of Turkey on feminist foreign policy led to the NATO country’s total refusal to admit Sweden to the alliance is not known.

Saturday’s Turkish announcement was a surprise, however, as several NATO diplomats told Reuters earlier in May that all 30 allies had backed Finland and Sweden joining the alliance.

    • This is what happens when you put a emotional feminaxi in charge, chaos always ensues. LOL!!

  3. Paludan to Rosengård – holds “Rita Muhammed Day”
The politician is organising a drawing competition on Friday. First prize is DKK 1,000

    https://samnytt.se/wp-content/webp-express/webp-images/doc-root/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Feature-rita-Muhammed-Paludan-640×360.jpg.webp

On Friday at 5.20 a.m., parliamentary candidate Rasmus Paludan will organise a drawing competition under the name “Rita Muhammed Day” in Malmö’s so-called particularly vulnerable area of Rosengård. The first prize in the competition is 1000 Danish kroner.
    – There needs to be a Draw Muhammad Day in all places, says Paludan to Samnytt.

This is the second year in a row that the Danish-Swedish politician is holding the free speech event in Sweden. Last year, the police could not guarantee security in Rosengård and therefore moved the rally to the remote rest area Skånegården near the Öresund Bridge.

READ ALSO: Paludan visits Rosengård to sign Muhammad: “Pedagogical instrument”
Paludan has now applied for a public gathering on Friday 20 May at 10-12 at von Lingens väg 130, which is close to the police station. Furthermore, Paludan writes that he is open to changing the location but that it should be within Rosengård.

Paludan: “The police love Islam and are afraid”
Samnytt has been in contact with Paludan who tells more about his drawing competition which has also been organized several times in Denmark.

Why is there a need for a Muhammed drawing day in Rosengård?
    – There needs to be a Draw Muhammad Day in all places. Now, at least in Denmark and a little bit in Sweden, some thugs have started to accept that you can burn and blaspheme the Koran because it’s happened so often, but this thing with drawing Muhammad, it hasn’t been accepted. People are still terrified to do it, so it’s very important.
    – Those who have drawn Muhammad are Kurt Westergaard and Lars Vilks but also Charlie Hebdo in France and that went very badly. Since Rosengård is a no-go zone where the state and the police have no power, it’s important to keep it there.

How do you see the prospect of actually holding your rally in Rosengård?
    – I think it’s quite impossible because the police in the Southern region love Islam or at least they are very afraid of Islam. They have no power in Rosengård. We saw this during the Koran riots in August 2020 and now also during the Easter weekend even though I did not have a public gathering in Rosengård.

    – Police region South is totally afraid. Police Chief Petra Stenkula, a bit ironic really since there are so many stone balls being thrown at the police, she is quite afraid of the residents of Rosengård. I don’t need a permit to have a demonstration in Rosengård. I could go there like any other Swede and draw Muhammad but then I would be killed. Other Swedes who draw Muhammad in Rosengård would also be killed.
So the constitution cannot be upheld in the area?
    – The Swedish police can’t. The Swedish police do not have the will and the ability. If I were head of the Swedish police then it would be different. Then I would guarantee that everyone can sign Muhammad in Rosengård. I would order the police to use tear gas, rubber bullets, water cannons and firearms.

What is the prize in the drawing competition?
    – If you film yourself drawing Muhammad in a public place and send the drawing in, the first prize is DKK 1,000.

  4. China’s master plan was just to get as rich as possible as they like money. I think the US is on track to destroy itself as so many people there have “lost the plot”. They have forgotten that the foundations of a strong functioning country are pretty simple and don’t change; democracy, functioning legal system, love of country and family, good values like the 10 commandments and hard work. Just contrast to Russia. Putin is so smart he realised that bringing back family and religion is a much easier way to manage a population than having millions of police. With religion, people manage their own behaviour because they have a conscience. The US has thrown all this out and is embracing corruption, greed, atheism, hatred of the family, hatred of love of country etc. What could go wrong? I don’t think the Chinese will have to do anything. The dedollarisation of global markets brought on by the US sanctions is what will destroy the US as they will run out of money as the dollar becomes worthless. Their weapons aren’t that good either and too expensive for most countries to buy.

    • We(US) live in a Constitutional Republic Sara, not a democracy. Democracy is mob rule, which thank God our founders were smart enough to realize was a bad idea.
