Americans Giving Biden Thumbs Down on Handling of Inflation, Poll Shows

Most Americans believe President Biden is bungling his handling of inflation, according to a new poll Sunday — just days after he called a Fox News reporter a “stupid son of a bitch” for asking a question about the dire issue.

Sixty-nine percent give Biden a thumbs down for his response to inflation, which hit a four-decade high of 7 percent in December, the ABC News/Ipsos poll shows.

Only 29 percent approve of how he’s handling it.

A Narrow Escape From Tyranny But the War on Freedom is Not Over

On January 23 Paul Craig Roberts reviewed Kees Van Der Pijl’s new book, States of Emergency. Van Der Pijl answers the question so many people have of why and how a fake “deadly pandemic” was orchestrated with worldwide participation in the fraud.

He shows that the event was long in the making by a global elite consisting of philanthropists such as Bill Gates, the Rockefeller Foundation and the Wellcome Trust, elite organizations such as the World Economic Forum, tech companies and multi-billionaire owners, Fauci at NIH, CDC, FDA, WHO, pharmaceutical companies and lobbyists, and elite organizations and groups created for the purpose of concentrating power and advancing and protecting the global elites’ rule by using fear to condition the masses to being controlled and deprived of a voice and alternative explanations.

I had been thinking along these lines, but lacked Van Der Pijl’s detailed knowledge of the personalities, organizations and groups and the interactions and cooperation between them. He gives us the story. It was an elaborate exercise in massive deception and censorship that was able to discredit the world’s most renowned medical scientists and to elevate pure fiction to fact and public policy.

Majority of Americans Want Biden to Consider ‘All Possible Nominees’ For Supreme Court Vacancy: Poll

A new ABC News/Ipsos poll finds that a plurality of Americans view the Supreme Court as motivated by partisanship, while President Joe Biden’s campaign trail vow to select a Black woman to fill a high-court vacancy without reviewing all potential candidates evokes a sharply negative reaction from voters.

The ABC News/Ipsos poll, which was conducted by Ipsos in partnership with ABC News using Ipsos’ KnowledgePanel, comes days after the most senior member of the Supreme Court, Justice Stephen G. Breyer, announced his retirement at the end of the current term. Breyer’s announcement provides Biden the opportunity to change the demographic makeup of the conservative-leaning bench.

Nebraska Revises Mascot Hand Gesture to Avoid Ties to White Supremacy

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has made a change to its cartoon mascot Herbie Husker to eliminate confusion about the meaning of a hand gesture he makes that some people connect with white supremacy.

In the original depiction of the mascot, which debuted in the early 1970s, Herbie’s left hand made the “OK” sign with the index finger and thumb forming a closed circle. In recent years, some hate groups have come to use the gesture as a sign for white power — three straight fingers make a ‘W’ and the circle formed next to an extended finger make a ‘P.’

Tonga Eruption Was So Intense, It Caused the Atmosphere to Ring Like a Bell

The huge volcanic eruption sent pressure waves racing around the world.

The Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai eruption reached an explosive crescendo on Jan. 15, 2022. Its rapid release of energy powered an ocean tsunami that caused damage as far away as the U.S. West Coast, but it also generated pressure waves in the atmosphere that quickly spread around the world.

The atmospheric wave pattern close to the eruption was quite complicated, but thousands of miles away it appeared as an isolated wave front traveling horizontally at over 650 miles an hour as it spread outward.

NASA’s James Garvin, chief scientist at the Goddard Space Flight Center, told NPR the space agency estimated the blast was around 10 megatons of TNT equivalent, about 500 times as powerful as the bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan, during World Word II. From satellites watching with infrared sensors above, the wave looked like a ripple produced by dropping a stone in a pond…

That’s some hefty mental gymnastics, I have to say.

  2. Back on duty !

Regards for all Allies friend from Polish National Guard..

        • Well, they did make some excellent tanks etc in WW2, only they were over-engineered (difficult to mass-produce, prone to fail if a spare part wasn’t sufficiently precision-made or an under-trained driver crashed the gears).

Their principal opponents did better: the Russians with the excellent T-34 (based on the pre-war theories of an American, which the Brits and Americans ignored, though the Germans copied it with the Panther, only again characteristically too precision-built) and the Americans with the Sherman, whose only virtue was being available in large numbers; the Panzer crews called them “Tommy-cookers” (“Tommy” being a German nickname for British troops dating back to WW1).

          • Marky ole boy, Those German tanks were far better than the junk you Brits produced, the kill ratios were astronomical. Those T-34’s the Russians produced weren’t better, they just produced more of them and threw them at the Germans just like they threw people at them, they could less about causalities, Just like that bloody useless Monty, just throw bodies at the problem. As for the Sherman, just another good enough tank they mass produced to throw at the problem.
