Multiple terrorists launched a coordinated attack today near a synagogue in Vienna. The attackers were carrying long guns, and one is alleged to have worn a suicide belt. They killed at least one person, and at least fifteen others were wounded. One attacker was shot dead, but the others are at large, and police are stopping vehicles at the Czech border in case some of the terrorists try to flee the country.
In other news, the Orthodox priest who was shot in front of his church in Lyon is out of surgery and reportedly recovering well.

The coronavirus pandemic will result in fewer airline companies globally because firms are currently being taken over or going under, the head of the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Alexandre de Juniac has said.
According to him, the air transport situation is “catastrophic,” with inter-continental traffic having fallen by more than 90 percent.

Report: Biden Presidency Would Add $11 Trillion to National Debt
If Joe Biden were to be elected his Presidency would cost American taxpayers $11 trillion dollars, according to a study by The Manhattan Institute for Policy Research.
The conservative 501 found that Biden’s proposals on social security, health care, climate and infrastructure could plunge the US into a debt crisis.
Speaking to the Daily Caller, author of the report Brian Riedl noted that “The policies he’s proposing are going to endanger the economy over the long term,” adding “$4 trillion in new taxes, which is the biggest tax increase since the end of World War II, as well as $11 trillion in new spending, certainly more regulation, a higher minimum wage. All of that is going to weaken the economy.”

There’s an old political saying: You can’t beat somebody with nobody.
The Democrats are hoping that adage is no longer true, because they have anointed Nobody at the top of their ticket, and his name is Joe Biden.
But then, this election has always been a referendum: Donald Trump, thumbs up or thumbs down.
Just to put everything in perspective in this national top-of-the-ballot referendum, if you vote thumbs down, you will get a guy who on Friday was campaigning in Iowa and Minnesota in brief appearances in which Biden forgot his age (he’s 78, not 74). He vowed to tax “trillionaires.”
He touted the endorsement of a retired military leader he identified as “General McGeneral.” He pegged the number of COVID-19 dead at 30,000 (quite a reduction from his earlier claims of “200 million” dead).
Joe Biden is not all there.
He looks like the old guy you see sitting by himself on a park bench, legs crossed, talking to passing clouds, screaming at pigeons, maybe later wandering through the parking lot at Market Basket trying to remember where he parked his car, or if he even still has a car.
This final Biden campaign, as someone wrote yesterday in the National Review, is “a doddering culmination of a half-century of hackery and blarney.”

Biden Versus Trump: Here’s What You Will Get
Never have we seen such anarchy in our country as we’ve seen in the past six months with Antifa and Black Lives Matter. Never have we seen such disregard for Old Glory. He will give all DACA recipients a free pass into our welfare system. He will tear down 400 miles of the Wall.
Biden promises to place Muslims at all levels of power in his chain of command if elected president. The problem: look at the beheadings, fear and terror now going on in Europe as their numbers grow…their terror acts increase exponentially. Remember that Sharia Law stands in direct confrontation with 21st century Constitutional Law. That barbaric law does not conform with a free society.

The Big Tech censorship by Jack Dorsey’s Twitter of the New York Post story on Hunter Biden and Joe Biden is so egregious that I have to speak up. If there were any doubt, it is now clear that Twitter’s censorship system is set up to survey, capture, control, and manipulate the political narrative within this country.
Make no mistake, the mathematical parameters and algorithms that Dorsey’s team developed and implemented had this goal in mind. Chicago Shootings: 29 Shot, 4, Fatally in Halloween Weekend Violence
CHICAGO — Twenty-nine people were shot, four of them fatally, across Chicago over Halloween weekend, including two men fatally wounded on the South Side.
In other attacks, three women were shot and wounded early Sunday in Englewood after a man opened fire inside a home during a fight. Two boys under 18 years old were also injured in separate shootings.
The weekend saw more shootings — but was less deadly — than last weekend, when 23 people were shot, seven of them fatally, between 5 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday.

A coalition of New York metropolitan area mosques organized a protest against French President Emmanuel Macron’s “vilification of Islam” on November 1 outside the French Consulate General in New York City.

Michigan Governor: Up to 6 Months Prison if Businesses Don’t Surveil Customers
Starting Monday, Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s state will soon require restaurants and bars to take diners’ names and contact information, according to a release from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
“Like many other businesses in Michigan, bars and restaurants will also be required to take names and contact information to support effective contact tracing if necessary,” the release reads.
If that seems like a gross overreaction and a case of overreach, that’s because it is.
“Michigan presently has 172 cases per million people and positivity of tests has increased from about 2% to 5.5% and both indicators have been increasing for over four weeks. Hospitalizations for COVID-19 have doubled over the last three weeks while the state death rate has increased for five consecutive weeks,” the release explained as the reasoning for the new tighter restrictions.
Now, if Whitmer and her administration didn’t have a prior history of hewing dangerously close to abusing their powers, maybe you could give these new restrictions the benefit of the doubt and buy the whole “contact tracing” explanation.
But Whitmer has already ran afoul of the Michigan Supreme Court, which ruled against her previous power grab attempt after she tried to unilaterally extend her original emergency declarations.

The Philadelphia firefighters union’s endorsement of President Donald Trump wasn’t without its bumps in the road — but heading into election day, it looks to be here to stay.
Philadelphia’s Firefighter and Paramedics Union broke from its international arm’s endorsement of Joe Biden, which was made back in 2019 by the International Association of Firefighters.
After the Firefighters Local 22 endorsed President Trump on September 29, they were sued by a member group of black firefighters called “Club Valiants”, who claimed the endorsement violated the union’s laws on political activity. Some members are also trying to push out Local 22 President Mike Bresnan over the endorsement.

Policing Portland’s Protests: 1,000 Arrests, Handful of Prosecutions
CLACKAMAS COUNTY, Ore. (KOIN) — Since late May, nearly 1,000 people have been arrested in connection with the protests in Portland; however, the overwhelming majority will likely never be prosecuted by the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office. There are reasons for that decision, the district attorney explained, but others say it gives criminals a free pass.
District Attorney Mike Schmidt took over in August and promptly announced his office would presumptively decline to prosecute many protest-related charges. The decision has drawn harsh criticism, but Schmidt says it has been necessary to preserve resources for more serious crimes as well as protect speech rights.

Seattle Students and Workers Given a ‘Flex Day’ To be Sad if Trump Wins
Seattle area employees and students have been told by employers and school administrators to take the day after election day off as a “flex day” in preparation for a Trump victory.
Though a President Trump re-elect was not mentioned specifically, an employee at tech giant Google reported that their team leaders suggested employees take the day off if they needed to cope with the results. An employee at a smaller Seattle tech company told The Post Millennial that the entire company was given the day after election day off so that they could have time to “process” the results. Thousands Attend Utah Rave Billed as a ‘Protest’ Against COVID-19 Restrictions
As many as 10,000 people attended a Halloween rave that was billed as a “protest” against coronavirus restrictions in Utah, a report said.
The party, which was hosted in an area known as “The Knolls” near Utah lake, drew a crowd from 2,000 to 10,000 people, a local NBC affiliate reported.
The rave featured DJs, along with professional lighting and sound systems. Authorities found out about the party after medics were called to respond to someone who’d been dropped while crowd surfing and knocked unconscious.

Virginia Investigators Recover 27 Missing Children in Five-Day Operation
More than two dozen missing children were recently tracked down by authorities in Virginia over a five-day effort, the US Department of Justice announced.
During the effort, dubbed “Operation Find Our Children,” multiple law enforcement agencies recovered 27 previously missing children and confirmed the location of six others at first thought to be missing — but later discovered by the US Marshals Service in the custody of their legal guardians, according to a Friday press release.
Many of the recoveries took place in densely populated areas, though seven occurred in less populated parts of the state, including Roanoke and Abingdon, according to Thomas L. Foster, US Marshal for the Western District of Virginia.

YouTube and Vimeo Censor New Documentary Antifa: Rise of the Black Flags
Antifa, a far left-wing organization active in the US, that many refer to as extremist and militant, is among the topics that are not to be questioned or criticized on YouTube, but also on another, smaller video site, Vimeo.
That’s judging by the fact that a new documentary, entitled, Antifa: Rise of the Black flags, published by Citizen Journalism Network, was removed from both platforms soon after it was uploaded on Saturday — even though a trailer was still available on YouTube.
The reason given by Vimeo, considered by some as less prone to censorships and restrictions, but also less influential than YouTube, is that its users are not allowed to upload videos that show “extreme violence.”

Several people have been injured and at least one person killed in an ongoing situation in the Austrian capital. The shooting occurred near a synagogue and was a “repulsive terror attack,” Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said.

Austrian newspaper OE24 has reported that a woman has died of gunshot wounds, increasing the total number of deaths as a result of the attack to two.

A terror attack struck the Austrian capital city of Vienna Monday evening, with several “very professional” and well-prepared “heavily armed” gunmen hitting across the downtown first district. Shots were fired at six distinct locations, leaving at least one member of the public dead and 15 wounded.
In addition to the known death toll, at least one terrorist was also shot dead on Monday night.
The attack is unusual in its scope — the vast majority of terror attacks on European soil are launched by ‘lone wolves’, most often radical Islamists. Monday night’s attack has officially been ongoing, according to the security services, at least five hours and an unknown number of terrorists remain at large. The gunmen have been at liberty so long, the search for them has now extended beyond Vienna itself and Austria’s northern neighbour the Czech Republic are searching cars at the border in case the attackers attempt to flee.

Biden Will Target Hungary’s Conservative Government if He Wins, Warns US Media Owner
A United States government led by Democrat Joe Biden would be much more critical to Hungary than the current administration of President Donald Trump, the former White House correspondent and owner of the US-based Newsmax television channel, Christopher Ruddy, told Hungarian news portal Origo in an interview.
“The Biden government will be much more critical of Hungary. They will strive to make countries less national and instead force them to integrate more strongly into the European Union and other international organizations,” Ruddy said, referring to a possible Biden victory on Nov. 3.

Czech Police Investigate Prison Riot
The police have initiated criminal proceedings in the Friday prisoners’ rebellion in Belusice in the Most region. The prisoners started the riot over unsubstantiated information claiming that prisons in other parts of the country are releasing detainees due to the coronavirus epidemic.
Organizers of Friday’s and Saturday’s protests face another ten years in prison, police said on Twitter. The prisoners revolted over unsubstantiated information about COVID-19, and the situation was calmed down. The intervention unit of the Belusice Prison remains on standby, Petra Kucerova, a spokeswoman for the Prison Service of the Czech Republic, told Czech News Agency.

On Thursday evening, about 50 young men of Turkish origin invaded the church of St. Anton von Padua in Vienna, Austrian media reported. The attackers allegedly shouted “Allahu Akbar” and thrashed the church pews and confessionals.
Both the Minister of the Interior Karl Nehammer and Chancellor Sebastian Kurz condemned the attack.
“We will continue to fight against political Islam,” said Kurz in response to the incident.
No one was injured in the church, and the damage was reportedly only minimal, but the incident was caught on security camera. After the pastor of the church called the police, the crowd dispersed, according to Czech news portal Echo24.

England’s Coronavirus Lockdown Could Last Until Next Year
Ministers believe that the four-week coronavirus lockdown in England could continue until next year, with a short break for Christmas.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed media rumours that England was going to go into a second lockdown, starting from November 5th and due to end on December 2nd. The country would then return to regional tiered restrictions.

French police last week used tear gas to disperse a major gathering which included members of the Grey Wolves, a Turkish ultra-nationalist extremist group, who marched in Dijon shouting Islamist, anti-Macron, and anti-Armenian slogans.
Following the demonstration, which took place last Thursday in Dijon’s city center and saw a procession of 60 or so Turks shouting “Allahu Akbar” and “Terrorist Armenia”, along with insults aimed at French President Emmanuel Macron, authorities have opened an investigation into the matter, France Bleu reports.

French populist National Rally (RN) leader Marine Le Pen compared scenes in the multicultural city of Montpellier to Baghdad, as rival gangs reportedly exchanged gunfire in broad daylight on Sunday.
Footage shared on social media by Le Pen was confirmed to be authentic by local police, who revealed that at least one person was injured in the gun battle. It does not appear that any bystanders were injured, as the city streets remained largely empty due to lockdown restrictions.

Greek Orthodox Priest Shot in Lyon is Out of Surgery and ‘Doing Well’
A Greek Orthodox Priest that was shot in the French city of Lyon days ago is “doing well”, a family contact told Greek City Times.
Father Nikolaos Kakavelaki was shot by a still unknown assailant on Saturday.
The priest was preparing to return to Greece after finishing his placement at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation in Lyon, but was shot twice in the stomach and in a critical condition.
Yesterday, fake news spread that Father Kakavelaki had died despite being scheduled for surgery on Monday morning local time.

Hungary PM: We Must Wear Face Masks
A new world will dawn on Monday in enforcing compliance with the rules related to the coronavirus epidemic, and if anyone is found to be in violation of those rules, “we will do whatever it takes to enforce them,” Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated on Friday on Kossuth Radio’s programme ‘Good morning, Hungary.’

Over the weekend, Hungarian Minister of Human Resources Miklós Kasler condemned the increasingly virulent strain of anti-Christian sentiment spreading across Hungary and Europe.

Number of European Coronavirus Cases Doubles in Five Weeks
While it took almost nine months in Europe to reach the first 5 million cases of Covid-19, the next 5 million cases were reported in just over a month. The number of new cases of Covid-19 in Europe has doubled in five weeks, and on Sunday the total exceeded the 10 million infections threshold.
With 10 percent of the world’s population, Europe accounts for about 22 percent of the global number of cases of 46.3 million infections. With more than 269,000 deaths, the region accounts for about 23 percent of the total number of deaths caused by Covid-19 out of nearly 1.2 million lives lost.
Amid growing cases, France, Germany and the United Kingdom have announced quarantines nationwide for at least a month, with measures that are almost as strict as those imposed in March and April.

Polish Professor: ‘Christ is Being Viciously Attacked Because the Polish Church is Still Alive’
Catholic statues have been targeted and destroyed by vandals in the village of Chrzastawa Wielka in southwest Poland.
The statues of the “Fatima children”, Francisco and Jacinta Marto, were smashed on the church grounds near the Parish of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Local faithful have expressed their sorrow and outrage against the anti-Catholic action, and the oldest inhabitants admit that such acts have not been seen in the area in over 70 years.
Poland has been gripped with anti-Catholic attacks following the Constitutional Court’s decision in late October that eugenic abortion is unconstintional. Statues of the former pope, Saint John Paul II, have also been vandalized in numerous Polish cities.

Spanish Police Arrest Man for Praising Attack Near Paris
BARCELONA: A Moroccan man was arrested in Barcelona for praising the beheading of a French schoolteacher outside Paris this month and “inciting” more attacks, police said on Saturday.
The man, who was not named and who was detained on Friday, posted messages on social media in support of the Oct. 16 murder of Samuel Paty, Catalan regional police said.

Surprise Result: Mass Testing of Slovak Nation Shows Only 1% Have COVID-19 Infection
On Saturday, nationwide Covid-19 testing of the Slovak population of 5 million people revealed 25,850 positive cases, which is about one percent of the total number of 2.58 million people who showed up at testing sites that day, Minister of Defense Jaroslav Nad told reporters.
The mass testing event, which is unique in Europe, took place all weekend, but unlike on Saturday morning, there were no long lines at the testing points on Sunday morning, and the government did not even report any significant problems with the organization of the event.
According to Minister Nad, the mentioned numbers do not include the results of tests organized by large companies for their employees, as well as nursing homes and hospitals. The data on those infected on Saturday as part of the nationwide testing roughly corresponds to the number of those cases, which laboratory tests for coronavirus in Slovakia have confirmed together in the last ten days.

Several fatalities have been reported in a terrorist attack near a synagogue involving men armed with long rifles in running shootouts with police in downtown Vienna near Schwedenplatz on Monday evening.
At least one police officer, a pedestrian and one attacker are among those listed as dead. While no exact numbers on the amount of dead have been released, some Austrian media have been reporting that there are at least seven dead. One perpetrator is said to have been wearing a suicide vest which he detonated downtown but there are reports that there was more than one is armed with a suicide vest. Hostages were also reportedly taken at a local Japanese restaurant and a hotel.
According to police, there are still suspects on the run, but one suspect is under arrest.

The partially online sessions of the European Parliament instituted with the onset of the coronavirus pandemic raise a series of questions regarding the legitimacy of its operations and decisions, Hungarian news and opinion portal Mandiner writes, based on an essay by Hungarian MEP József Szajer.
In his essay Szajer argues that the current mode of operation, however reasonable it may sound, is not entirely legal. The questionable nature of the European Parliament decisions brought under these rules since spring could even be annulled retroactively, thus destroying months of the European Parliament’s work. While this is not in anyone’s interests, day-to-day politics can easily override the current situation and the European Union’s institutional functioning needs to be clarified.

Russia’s ‘Sausage King’ Killed With Crossbow While in Sauna With Woman
A Russian oligarch nicknamed the “Sausage King” was killed by a crossbow Monday when two masked men attacked the meat magnate and a woman in a sauna at his countryside estate outside Moscow, according to reports.
Vladimir Marugov was found dead in the sauna after his partner fled through a window in the outdoor hut and notified police about the attack some 25 miles west of the capital, the Moscow Times reported.
The assailants tied up Marugov and the woman and demanded money before killing him with the crossbow, according to Reuters.

Huawei Purportedly Has a Plan to Get Around U.S. Sanctions: Build Its Own Chips
Huawei has apparently lost all hope, or patience, that it will ever free itself from U.S. sanctions, which have effectively choked off its access to much-needed chips. The company is purportedly getting ready to do something about it. The solution: build its own chip plant.
According to a report in the Financial Times, Huawei is working on a plan to develop its own chip plant in Shanghai. Trump administration sanctions prohibit any company from using U.S. software or equipment to sell chips to Huawei without a license from the Department of Commerce. Huawei’s planned chip plant would not use American technology, the Times reported, which will allow it to secure supplies for its core telecom infrastructure business.
Interestingly, Huawei itself would not run the plant, per the report. Instead, it would be run by one of its partners, the Shanghai IC R&D Center, a chip research company with government support. The move is also not surprisingly, however, since Huawei has no experience in chip manufacturing.

Stopping Mass Immigration Requires Actions Instead of Words, French Author Laurent Obertone Says
France needs action, not words, to stop mass immigration, famed French author and journalist Laurent Obertone said in an interview with Hungarian conservative daily Magyar Hirlap. In the same interview, he also warned that Central and Eastern European countries opposed to mass immigration must not give in to pressure on the issue.
