Minnesota State Fair Attempts to Shut Down Hilarious Pro-Trump Flag Display
The Minnesota State Fair Organization has gotten involved to shut down a grassroots movement to fly pro-Trump flags while riding on the SkyGlider at the fair.
Pro-Trump fairgoers were greeted by police officers on Aug. 30th and told they would be arrested if they continued to display their flags. The police even jumped on the SkyGlider with the group of Trump supporters to make sure they stopped displaying their Trump 2020, Thin Blue Line, and Betsy Ross flags. That didn’t stop them. They flew the flags anyway but no one was arrested…
The Minnesoa GOP responded to the order by not defending the pro-Trump activists and bowing to the State Fair Organization:

New Species of Prehistoric Shark Discovered in South Carolina
A new species of prehistoric daggernose shark was recently discovered among a trove of prehistoric fossils found in Aiken County, South Carolina.
David Cicimurri, curator of the South Carolina State Museum’s natural history collection, and James Knight, of the University of South Carolina Aiken Department of Biology and Geology, found numerous fossils in the formerly underwater location.
The new species has been named Isogomphodon aikenensis, in honor of the place where it was discovered. The finding were published in the most recent edition of the University of California Museum of Paleontology’s publication, PaleoBios.

Ocasio-Cortez Tries to Help Bail Out ‘Activists’ Arrested for Assaulting Police, Carrying Weapons
On Saturday, about 200 people participated in a much-publicized and much-maligned “straight pride” parade in Boston put on by a group calling itself “Super Happy Fun America.” There to greet them were about five times as many “anti-fascist” counter-protesters ready to “protect” the city from the “homophobic” paraders. By the end of the day, the Boston police arrested 36 people, including “activists” who came armed with dangerous weapons and who proved they were prepared to get rough, even with police. In response, two members of the “Squad” of far-left freshmen Democratic congresswomen urged their supporters to donate to help bail out the “allies & accomplices” who “put themselves on the line protecting the Boston community.”

Proposed Federal Agency Would Create Criteria to “Identify” Potentially Violent People
There is a push on for the creation of another unconstitutional federal agency that would create systems to identify “early signs of changes in people with mental illness that could lead to violent behavior.”
Coupled with “red flag” laws, this sounds like the beginning of a dystopian nightmare.
According to the Washington Post, the proposal is part of a larger initiative known as the Health Advanced Research Projects Agency (HARPA). The agency would operate under the Health and Human Services Department. According to the HARPA website, the agency would be modeled after the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) that operates as a research arm for the Pentagon.
HARPA would work with private companies, other federal agencies, and academia, to coordinate and promote health-related research. According to the HARPA website, the federal agency would “develop biomedical capabilities — detection tools, treatments, medical devices, cures, etc. — for the millions of Americans who are not benefitting from the current system.”
In the wake of the recent highly publicized shootings and calls for the federal government to “do something” to prevent gun violence, supporters of HARPA have proposed adding a “SAFE HOME” project to HARPA. SAFE HOME stands for “Stopping Aberrant Fatal Events by Helping Overcome Mental Extremes.”
You have give the people pushing HARPA credit for their ability to seize on tragedies in order to garner political support for their proposal. The HARPA plan apparently hadn’t really gained much traction since it was initially proposed in 2017. By focusing on gun violence, the supporters of HARPA may have found the political lever they needed to push their plan forward and get the agency created.

Ilhan Omar’s marriage appears to be headed for the rocks, a longtime friend of the couple told The Post.
The congresswoman’s husband, Ahmed Hirsi, the source said, is poised to file for divorce after the revelation in a bombshell court filing that she allegedly had an affair with DC political consultant Tim Mynett.
The Minnesota congresswoman and her husband allegedly separated in March, and Omar asked Hirsi to divorce her around that time because she didn’t want to file the papers — but Hirsi refused, telling her if she wanted a divorce she should do it herself, said the source, who has known both parties for 20 years.

O’Hurley said he was embarrassed for both of the Will & Grace stars.

Sheriff Mistakes Innocent Man for Suspect, Dumps 10 Rounds Into Him—no Charges
Kimble County Sheriff Hilario Cantu is taking fire in the form of criticism after he opened fire on an innocent man, dumping 10 rounds into him and his truck. Quite unlike what the general public would face, in the form of criminal charges, Cantu will likely face no charges, serve no time in jail, and will potentially not even be disciplined for shooting up the wrong moving vehicle. What started out as a traffic stop for a missing license plate nearly turned deadly for both one police officer and one hapless innocent bystander.
When officer Lee Meadow pulled over a Gray Chevy Colorado pickup he had no idea the motorist would allegedly pull out a gun and shoot at him as he was standing beside the driver’s side window. After the certain brush with death, the suspect fled. Meadow then radioed in that a suspect in a Gray Chevy Colorado had shot at him and then fled.
Hearing the call come over the radio, Cantu and another deputy grabbed some long guns, and ran out of the police precinct to intercept the wanna-be cop killer. Cantu and his deputy took a position along an exit of the highway and noticed a truck coming in their direction and believed it to be the suspect vehicle. Cantu took aim and fired 10 rounds of .223 ammunition from his AR-15 into the truck. But there was one major problem. The truck Cantu shot was a White Silverado not a Gray Colorado. It also had only two doors—not four.
Despite there being a difference in size between the two vehicles, and the fact the truck was a completely different color, Cantu fired at the truck nonetheless. The sheriff’s bullets found their mark with at least one of the bullets piercing the side of Hugo Reyes, an oil field worker from West Texas. Reyes was on the phone with his wife, Amparo Villareal, at the time he was shot. She told reporters:…

‘So Shocking and Brazen’: 3 People Shot Outside Minnesota State Fair, Police Say
Three people were shot outside the Minnesota State Fair on Monday night, as authorities are investigating the gunman’s whereabouts hours after the Labor Day shooting sent thousands of fairgoers into panic, police told The Washington Post.
St. Paul Police spokesman Steve Linders said no arrests have been made and that the identity of the gunman remains unknown. The three injured men — two 20-year-olds and an 18-year-old — suffered nonfatal injuries and are expected to survive, Linders said.
“It was truly a chaotic scene,” he said early Tuesday. “To see something like this is nothing short of outrageous.”

A toddler was abducted by an UBER driver, according to Pennsylvania State Police who issued an Amer Alert on Saturday.

Patient Sentenced for Scorning Arab Employee
According to the facts reported in the judgment, the complainant, of Arab origin, worked as a nursing assistant in a hospital in the Montreal area. During an exchange with a patient, the patient aggressively asked him to leave, told him to return home and treated him with contempt for his ethnicity.
The hospital coordinator had to intervene, but the patient refused to apologize and asked to be served by other employees who were not of Arab origin, which was refused.
When the patient was contacted by an investigator from the Human Rights and Youth Rights Commission to obtain his version of the facts, he reiterated his remarks and threatened to physically attack the complainant.

France: Attackers Damage Fire Truck After Pelting Personnel With Stones
On Saturday evening, firefighters in Limoges were attacked by a group of people who hurled stones at them and ended up damaging one their vehicles.
A firefighting brigade from Haute-Vienne was responding to a call that came in around 9:30 pm in the district of Mas Jambost in Limoges when the attack took place, France Bleu reports.

Hungary Charges Syrian IS Suspect With Imam Beheading
Hungarian prosecutors on Tuesday charged a Syrian man arrested in Budapest last year of terrorism and crimes against humanity including the beheading of an imam in Syria in 2015.
According to a statement from the Budapest Chief Prosecution Office, prosecutors are seeking life imprisonment without parole for the 27-year-old man, identified as F. Hassan.
The authorities believe he commanded a small unit of the Islamic State group in Homs province in 2015 tasked with terrorising and executing civilians and religious leaders who refused to side with the terror group.
He is accused of personally taking part in the beheading of an imam in the town of al-Sukhnah, as well as the murders of three other people in the area between May 13 and 15 in 2015.
His unit also killed at least 25 people in the town during the period including women and children, according to the prosecutors’ statement.

(ANSA) — Rome, September 3 — There are only 18 Italians out of 408 European researchers to get new funding from the European Research Council (ERC).
Some 621 million euros has been earmarked to help the careers of young researchers.
The 18 Italians work in 13 Italian institutions.
The funds have been granted to the winners of the ERC Starting Grant competition.
This is part of the EU’s research and innovation programme Horizon 2020.
The goal is to enable researchers to build their own groups to be able to conduct pioneering research.

UK: Knife Crime Epidemic on the Rise, As London Tube Station Shocked by Double Stabbing
Two men are in hospital after being stabbed at London’s Elephant and Castle tube station on Sunday night, RT.com reports.
Police officers were called to the south London station around 11.30pm BST on Sunday after two males were found seriously injured in a street nearby.
A 24-year-old man is in a critical condition, while a 25-year-old male is in a serious condition, British Transport Police said. Two men have been arrested in relation to the incident.

Online Protests Against Killing of Turtledoves in Morocco
Probe opened after videos and photos posted online
(ANSAmed) — RABAT, AUGUST 29 — Animal activists and regular citizens in Morocco are protesting online after videos and photos were posted showing five hunters proudly standing by more than a thousand turtledoves they had killed in the region of Marrakech.
“This isn’t the jungle, why should we tolerate something so senseless?” one online protester said.
“Why should we allow these Bedouins into our country when they don’t deserve it?” another said.
The group of tourists depicted in the photo had come from Persian Gulf countries to hunt migratory birds.
Greenpeace Maroc is fighting the agency that promotes trips for hunters.
The wave of protest is so strong that the Moroccan Water and Forestry Ministry has opened an investigation identifying the place where the men hunted and the agency that brought them there.
A formal charge of poaching made against the tour operator states that the agency “assumes responsibility for acts committed by its clients”.
The agency’s license was revoked because the hunters “surpassed by nearly three times the regulatory quota for prey”.
The case will now be handled by regular judicial authorities.

Former Pak cricket captain Javed Miandad’s threat to India over Kashmir.
India Today Web Desk | New Delhi | Sept 1, 2019:: While Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan continues to threaten India with war over the Kashmir issue, another Pakistani cricket captain has now gone viral for spewing vitriol against India.
A video is doing the rounds on social media in which popular former Pakistan cricketer Javed Miandad can be seen brandishing a sword as he claims to show solidarity with Kashmiris.
In what can be seen as a demonstration, Miandad, wearing the Pakistan cricket team’s jersey, can be heard saying that if he can wield a bat, he can also wield a sword.
“Kashmir bhaiyo fikar mat karo hum aapke saath hai. Mere paas balla bhi hai, pehle chakka maara tha, ab yeh [sword] bhi hai (Kashmiri brothers don’t worry. We are with you. Earlier I used a bat to hit a six, now I can use this sword)” Javed Miandad said.
As Miandad sheathes the sword in his hand, a voice in the background can be heard saying, “Balla bhi tez tha ab talwar bhi tez hai. (The bat was sharp, now the sword is sharp)”
To this, Javed Miandad proudly shows off his sword again and exclaims that if he can use a bat to hit a six, he can use the sword to kill a man. “Jab main balle se chakka maar sakta hoon tu iss [talwar] se insaan kyu nahin maar sakta, (if I can hit a sixer with a bat, can’t I kill a man with a sword)” is his smug admission.
This is not the first time Javed Miandad has made controversial remarks. He had previously too bayed for blood, asking Kashmiris to pick up arms. After India decided to abrogate Article 370 which gives special power to the state of Jammu and Kashmir, Miandad had claimed that the Indian government is a “coward” and that Pakistan has not kept a nuclear arsenal for show but to deploy on India. “Hume mauka chahiye aur hum saaf kar denge+ (we just need a chance, we will wipe out India)” he told the media.

This is the second abduction and conversion of a minority girl within a week in Pakistan after Jagjit kaur, a daughter of a Sikh priest (granthi) was forcefully abducted, converted and married+. The abductor of the Sikh girls is allegedly connected with Jammat-ud-Dawa of Hafeez Saeed.
The victim’s father, Inderjeet Kumar, in a police complaint said that his daughter, Reno Kumari who is a student of BBA (Bachelor of Business Adminstration) of IBA (Institute of Business Administration) Sukker, had left for college on August 29 and did not return home at Rohari. Some informed that she was taken to Lahore, some sources said she was some where at Sukkur but no authentic news is still confirmed.
Media reports said that the girl was forcibly converted to Islam. She was abducted by one of her classmates Babar Aman, along with Mirza Dilawar Baig who is a member of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), now the ruling party of Pakistan.
The girl was allegedly taken to PTI worker Baig’s Sialkot home, where she was allegedly forced to convert and marry Babar Aman.
Meanwhile, reports said the police has arrested Babar Aman’s brother. The whereabouts of the abducted girl and accused Babar Aman remain unknown…

THE DEAL IS DONE: President Trump is being presented today with a draft agreement with the Taliban that would provide for the phased withdrawal of more than 5,000 U.S. troops from Afghanistan, from five bases, over five months. China Unloads Troops & Cargo Into Hong Kong From Giant Ship Amidst Rumors of Crackdown
A huge Chinese cargo ship has unloaded troops and vehicles into Hong Kong amidst rumors of a military crackdown on protesters.
“The ship in question, Chang Da Long, is a 140.5m-long vehicle carrier,” reports Shephard Media. “It arrived at Stonecutters Island at 17:36 on 28 August and, after unloading its cargo, departed by 23:19. In total, the 19,864t vessel was berthed at the PLA naval base for 5.5h.”
Authorities claim that the ship is part of the routine annual rotation of PLA troops and equipment PLA Hong Kong Garrison. However, while road convoys are a regular sight, “the presence of a conscripted civilian cargo vessel has never been observed before,” according to the report.

A university in China has installed facial recognition cameras in classrooms that monitor students’ behavior such as nodding off or playing with their cellphones.
China Pharmaceutical University in Nanjing, East China’s Jiangsu Province, is piloting the system in two classrooms and eventually plans to install it in every classroom.

Colombia: FARC Terrorists Assassinate Local Politicians After Declaring War
Police found a mayoral candidate, her mother, and four others dead in western Cauca, Colombia, on Monday, victims of an ambush by Marxist FARC terrorists.

Judge to Anti-Straight Pride Protesters: ‘Stay Out of Boston’
Three of the 18 anti-Straight Pride Parade protesters being arraigned Tuesday were ordered to “stay out of Boston” by a judge who said he wouldn’t even allow one of them to visit relatives in Jamaica Plain.
All three were accused of assault and battery on police at Saturday’s downtown parade, with two of them also arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on disorderly and resisting arrest charges. Others also arraigned Tuesday were told to stay out of downtown. A total of 36 were arrested and must report to court this week.
Judge Thomas Horgan said the three risked being put in jail for 90 days if they didn’t follow his instructions. “Stay out of Boston,” Horgan repeated when the attorney for one of the men asked that his client only be forbidden from downtown Boston so he could visit relatives in Jamaica Plain.

YouTube Deletes 30,000 Videos for Hate Speech and Promises New Harassment Policy
YouTube said that it removed more than 30,000 videos last month that contained hate speech content.
In a blog post published on Tuesday, September 3, the video platform also announced it plans to update its current harassment policy, which will represent a “fundamental shift in our policies.”
“We’ve been removing harmful content since YouTube started, but our investment in this work has accelerated in recent years,” YouTube said. “Because of this ongoing work, over the last 18 months we’ve reduced views on videos that are later removed for violating our policies by 80%, and we’re continuously working to reduce this number further.”
