Alec Baldwin’s ABC Talk Show Debut Tanks, Draws Lowest Sunday Night Demo Ratings in All of Network TV

Lowest numbers in all of network TV…

Alec Baldwin’s new ABC talk show got off to an inauspicious start Sunday night.

According to Nielsen (via Entertainment Weekly), the premiere brought in 2.2 million total viewers, with an anemic 0.4 rating in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demographic.

That number was the lowest in all of network TV Sunday night in the demo — including the CW.

Busted! Voter Fraud Ring Discovered in Texas

Elderly citizens targeted

Four women have been indicted in connection with an organized voter fraud ring discovered in the Fort Worth, Texas area.

The criminals targeted elderly residents by forging mail-in ballots in favor of Democrat candidates during the 2016 election.

Leticia Sanchez, Leticia Sanchez Tepichin, Maria Solis, and Laura Parra were indicted by a grand jury on felony charges on Wednesday for “harvesting votes” by forging signatures.

The case has been looked into for over two years, so this week’s four indictments might not be the last.

In October of 2016, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced the largest voter fraud investigation in Texas history was taking place in Tarrant country.

Political consultant Aaron Harris, who originally brought the fraudulent ballots to the attention of investigators, said, “The harvesters sit around and fill these out by the hundreds, often by the thousands.”

“Just because they may have been indicted on one or two, or 16 counts, doesn’t mean they don’t have 200 counts,” he added. “But those are the only 16 that can be proven.”

Facebook Deletes Disabled Veteran’s Page Without Warning — After Taking $300,000 for Ads

“I’m not a ‘conservative.’ I’m not a ‘liberal.’ I’m an American, with deep beliefs in what our country stands for.

Facebook blacklisted the conservative news page run by disabled Air Force veteran Brian Kolfage with no warning or explanation — after he reportedly spent more than $300,000 on Facebook advertising.

On his new website which aims to put an end to social media censorship, Air Force veteran and triple-amputee Brian Kolfage explains who he is and the challenges he’s facing stating: “I’m a veteran of The United States Air Force. I was severely wounded in Combat, on 9/11/2004 while serving in Iraq I lost both my legs entirely and my right hand. I’m the most severely wounded US Airman to survive.”

Kolfage continued: “I’m not a ‘conservative.’ I’m not a ‘liberal.’ I’m an American, with deep beliefs in what our country stands for. I proved this by vowing to protect and fighting for America greatest tenant: Free Speech. Many Americans have fought for these political freedoms … freedom of speech … and every American has enjoyed those freedoms… UNTIL TODAY. October 11th Facebook shut down thousands of Facebook accounts for their political opinions stating that they don’t have a ‘legitimate political argument’. STOP SOCIAL MEDIA CENSORSHIP NOW!”

Leftist Official Suspended Over Calling for Republican Beheadings With Guillotines

Libs continues to ramp up violent rhetoric against conservatives ahead of midterms

A spokesman for Minnesota’s Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party has been suspended after calling for Republicans to be brought “to the guillotines” after the midterm elections.

Party spokesman William Davis on Monday wrote in reference to Republicans: “11.7 — bring them to the guillotines.”

The Party’s executive director Corey Day took to Twitter for damage control, saying Davis regrets the post and has deleted it.

Day also insisted the comment was an “inside joke” among co-workers, but it still violated the party’s standards for employees.

“The comment made by William Davis on social media this weekend was unacceptable. The DFL offers its apologies and assurance that these types of remarks by our employees are not the way we conduct our business,” Day said in a statement to local media.

New York Times Admits Memes Are “Tools of Influence” As Twitter Drops Ban Hammer

Is Twitter election meddling by censoring the NPC meme?

The New York Times admits that political memes are major “tools of influence” in the run up to the mid-term elections as Twitter dropped the ban hammer on over 1500 accounts associated with the ‘NPC’ meme.

The Old Gray Lady waded into the NPC meme debate last night, publishing an article entitled, What Is NPC, the Pro-Trump Internet’s New Favorite Insult?

The article goes some way in acknowledging that the meme rings true in that it exposes how the left has become ideologically intolerant and ‘can’t take a joke’.

Supreme Court Agrees to Hear Case That Could Determine Whether Facebook, Twitter and Other Social Media Companies Can Censor Their Users

The Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case that could determine whether users can challenge social media companies on free speech grounds.

The case, Manhattan Community Access Corp. v. Halleck, No. 17-702, centers on whether a private operator of a public access television network is considered a state actor, which can be sued for First Amendment violations.

The case could have broader implications for social media and other media outlets. In particular, a broad ruling from the high court could open the country’s largest technology companies up to First Amendment lawsuits.

That could shape the ability of companies like Facebook, Twitterand Alphabet’s Google to control the content on their platforms as lawmakers clamor for more regulation and activists on the left and right spar over issues related to censorship and harassment.

The Democrats’ IT Scandal

After spending a year digging into the Democrats’ covered up I.T. scandal in Congress, I happen to know there is a lot here that Americans aren’t being allowed to know. If all this group of I.T. administrators from Pakistan did in Congress doesn’t get out, then much of our freedom, which is wrapped up in this story, will be impacted.

The cover-up has been so effective that this isn’t happening. Imran Awan, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.)’s I.T. aide, got off without jail time or restitution on only bank fraud charges. Congress got off without paying the price for possible corruption and for allowing a spy ring to run free in Congress. We can’t even be sure that Congress has made the necessary reforms to stop another spy ring from infiltrating and spying on Congress and thereby using stolen data to blackmail a congressman, influence a vote, or just know where members of Congress stand on various pieces of legislation, all of which can impact us.

Emails and other data also could be used by a foreign intelligence service, such as Pakistan’s ISI, to see where our representatives stand on funding being allocated to a given country or on other issues — and, according to sources, that is exactly what likely occurred in this case.

Some sources, most notably current I.T. aides who work for congressmen, have told me that security protocols have been tightened and that they don’t think other I.T. aides will be able to get in the door again without first passing background checks. Nevertheless, Capitol Police won’t confirm this or even answer if the laptop they’d found and held as evidence — the one Wasserman Schultz threatened the chief of Capitol Police with “consequences” over if it wasn’t returned promptly — has now been given back to Wasserman Schultz.

The government has conveniently managed this cover-up to protect itself.

65% of Italians Back Euro, But Just 44% Would Vote ‘Remain’

Number of undecided over EU membership referendum 32%

(ANSA) — Brussels, October 17 — In Italy 65% of people are in favour of the euro, but far fewer, only 43%, are convinced about the benefits of belonging to the European Union, according to the latest Eurobarometer survey. The is well down on the European average of 68% who believe their countries benefit from being in the EU. Furthermore, if Italy held a referendum on EU membership, only 44% said they would vote to remain, compared to an EU average of 66%, according to the poll conducted between September 8 and 26, 2018, by Kantar Public.

This is the lowest level in the EU, lower even than in Britain, where 53% today are in favour of remaining, over two years after the UK voted to leave the bloc. The percentage of people who said they were undecided about how they would vote in an EU referendum was 32% — the highest in the bloc.

Only 17% of the Europeans interviewed said they were in favour of their countries’ leaving the EU.

Even in Britain, today only 35% are in favour of leaving, according to the study.

Army of Poor in Italy Says Caritas

Fighting poverty indispensable says Mattarella

(ANSA) — Rome, October 17 — Catholic charity Caritas said Wednesday that Italy had an “army of poor” who “do not seem to find responses” to their needs from the State. In a report released on the international day for the eradication of poverty, Caritas said the number of people in absolute poverty in Italy is over five million, following a 182% increase since the start of the economic crisis.

Caritas Italiana Director Francesco Soddu expressed reservations about Deputy Premier and Labour and Industry Minister Luigi Di Maio’s assertion that the government would end poverty in Italy when it brings in a ‘citizenship wage’ basic income for job seekers.

“As Christians we have some trouble in thinking that you can abolish poverty,” Soddu said. “Poverty is not just lack of income or work. It is isolation, fragility, fear of the future.

“Giving a one-dimensional answer to a multi-dimensional problem would be a simplification”.

The Caritas report said the REI benefit for the poor introduced by the previous centre-left government should not be scrapped, but “broadened and improved”. President Sergio Mattarella also made an appeal on the day for the eradication of poverty.

“In Italy cases of both absolute poverty and relative poverty have increased,” the head of State said.

“That’s why it is indispensable to continue with policies to support those who live in poverty or who are extremely vulnerable to it”.

Epochal Changes With Next European Elections — Salvini

We’re no longer puppets manipulated by Brussels- min tells TASS

(ANSA) — Moscow, October 17 — Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has said that next year’s European elections will usher in huge changes in the political situation within the European Union. “The next European elections will start epochal changes for the future of Europe,” Salvini, the leader of the rightwing League party, said in an interview with TASS ahead of his participation in the assembly of Russia’s industrial confederation on Wednesday. “Our opponents says a catastrophe is coming, but this only regards their personal interests.

“The peoples of Europe will have an unprecedented opportunity to create a new Union of sovereign territories based on democratic principles”. Salvini said the League-5-Star Movement government was not going to be pushed around, amid criticism from the European Commission of its plan to allow Italy’s budget deficit to rise to 2.4% of GDP next year. “I am increasingly convinced that the financial lobbies in Brussels cannot accept our presence in the government,” he said.

“This reaction does not surprise me. “They have manipulated puppets for years, but now they are forced to deal with two political movements that they cannot blackmail because they don’t own anything to anyone, but defend the interests of their people”. He also repeated his criticism of Western sanctions on Russia.

“Maintaining good relations with Russia is a natural component of the national interest for us,” he said. “Unfortunately, the deterioration in diplomatic relations between the USA, some European countries, and Russia is a complicated problem for Italy, which depends on its membership of certain international structures like the European Union and NATO.

“We will work to overcome every disagreement but it will take time.

“The sanctions on Russia are absurd and we will try to convince our partners”.

EU Commission to Reject Italian 2019 Budget Plan

Earlier this morning, we reported that according to Deutsche Bank economists — — and virtually everyone else except for those who were apparently waving in BTPs yesterday — Italy was squarely on a collision course with the European Commission, whose President Juncker said yesterday that there would be a “violent reaction” from other euro area countries if the Italian budget were to be approved.

Moments ago, Spiegel confirmed this when it reported that the “dispute between the EU Commission and Italy’s populist government is entering the next round” after EU Commissioner Guenther Oettinger said that the EU Commission would reject Italy’s 2019 budget plan, which is not compatible with EU rules.

“It has been confirmed that Italy’s budget for 2019 is not compatible with the commitments that exist in the EU,” Oettinger said. The official rejection of Italy’s budget in the form of a letter from Economic and Financial Commissioner Pierre Moscovici is due to arrive in Rome on Thursday or Friday.

EU Will Reject Italy Budget — Oettinger to Spiegel

Moscovici will write Thursday or Friday

(ANSA) — Berlin, October 17 — The European Commission will reject Italy’s budget bill, Budget Commissioner Guenther Oettinger told Der Spiegel on line Wednesday. The magazine said a letter from Economic Affairs Commissioner Pierre Moscovici should arrive in Rome on Thursday or Friday.

Oettinger said “the hypothesis that the 2019 budget draft is not reconcilable with the EU’s existing obligations has been confirmed.” Moscovici will not make a counter-proposal, Der Speigel said, but will restrict himself to pointing out the violations of the reference data.

Rome sent the budget draft to the EC on Tuesday night, at the last minute, Der Spiegel said.

The EC is reacting unusually quickly, it said, since it had two weeks to reply.

Italy will now have to present a new draft, the magazine said.

The Sovereignist-Front in Search of a Candidate for Europe. Looking to Germany and Sweden

In pole position is Scandinavian ultra-right leader, Akesson. And Salvini wants to convince Orban to leave the Ppe

Sovereignists will have their own common candidate in the May European elections, even though the populists front has not yet indicated a name for the presidency of the EU Commission (the so-called Spitzenkandidat) to run against the EPP and the Socialist Democrats. Some clues lead to northern Europe, to Swedish Jimmie Akesson. But the game is not over yet and Matteo Salvini is very active player. Nevertheless, it will not be easy to find a common name because the radical anti-European movements, grown exponentially in individual countries, are not part of a single political family. However, they have a common interest in reversing the balance of power in Brussels, modifying the treaties and imposing a nationalist logic. The hunt to find the man or woman fit to represents everyone is, however, speeding up.

“This search — the League says- has begun — in silence — some time ago, first within parliamentary groups in Strasbourg and now in the informal talks that Salvini has had and will have in the margins of his meetings in Europe as Minister of home affairs. It seems he has talked about it on 28 August in Milan with Viktor Orban as well. The League’s leader would like the Hungarian Prime Minister to abandon the EPP and align himself with the sovereignist front for the next Elections to the European Parliament scheduled in May 2019. Orban shares Sovereignist (read populist) principles, ideas and enemies, starting with the Euro-bureaucrats, the NGOs that report to the Hungarian-born magnate Soros, and the so called “party of Davos”. Orban, however, does not intend to leave the EPP. In Milan, he himself told Salvini that he wanted to remain “loyal” to the party of the European Populars: “In November there is the Congress of the EPP and my Fidesz is and remains in the group, but we must move the EPP to the right. After the elections in May, we shall build an alliance with you and others to knock off the Pse from the leadership of Europe”…

“They Cut Him Up While He Was Still Alive”: Grisly Details of Saudi Journalist Killing Emerge

[WARNING: Disturbing Content.]

While President Trump would love it if the Western media, along with prominent executives in tech and finance, would buy Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s claims that he had “no knowledge” of the confrontation at the Saudis’ consulate in Istanbul that’s believed to have precipitated the killing of insider-turned-Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi, yet more evidence has emerged this morning to contradict the official Saudi narrative.

Trial balloons floated by the kingdom in the Western press, as well as Trump’s own suggestions, point to “rogue operatives”, but in a story published last night, the New York Times managed to corroborate Turkish officials’ claims that several suspected members of the 15-man ‘hit squad’ have been directly linked with MbS.

And now, in what has been billed as the first glimpse of the grisly circumstances of Khashoggi’s murder, the Middle East Eye and the Wall Street Journal have reported that “it took seven minutes for Khashoggi to die.”

But in what was probably the most gruesome details from the report, MEM reported that Dr. Salah Muhammad al-Tubaigy, who was identified by the Times and other media outlets as an “autopsy expert” whose presence cuts against Saudis’suggestions that the killing wasn’t premeditated, started cutting Khashoggi’s body into pieces while the journalist was unconscious, but still breathing. Previously, Khashoggi had been knocked unconscious after being injected with a mysterious substance.

ISIS Targeting Water Supplies, Power Lines and Cell Towers

ARLINGTON, Va. — ISIS is proving to be a “very elusive enemy” in its remaining strongholds in Syria as forces on the ground battle against omnipresent booby traps and a network of jihadist tunnels, and in Iraq where jihadists are tampering with water supplies.

Via video from Baghdad today, Operation Inherent Resolve spokesman Col. Sean Ryan was asked why the Syrian Democratic Forces’ Operation Roundup, intended to clear ISIS fighters from the Middle Euphrates River Valley, seemed to be moving at a glacial pace compared to the seizure of ISIS’ capital, Raqqa.

Kerch Attack Suspect Identified as College Student, Killed Himself

The suspect in the Kerch college attack has been identified as a student. He committed suicide after killing 17 people and injuring dozens with gunfire and a blast.

“The suspected murderer shot himself,” Sergey Aksenov told the media. “He was a senior student of the same college.”

The official added that the number of people killed in the attack, which is reportedly mostly made up of students, has risen to 18, apparently including the suspect. Earlier, witnesses claimed there were multiple masked attackers involved, but Aksenov didn’t mention any possible accomplices.

Russia’s investigative committee has named the suspect as Vladislav Roslyakov and said he was 18, rather than 22 as first reported. It added the incident was now considered a multiple homicide rather than a terrorist attack.

Leaked Files Confirm Julian Assange Plan to Move to Moscow

A month after the Associated Press published internal WikiLeaks files which suggested the transparency organization’s founder Julian Assange had since 2010 contemplated moving to Russia — outside the reach of US and UK authorities — newly released Ecuadorean government documents have revealed a more elaborate plan to escape to Moscow by using Ecuadorean diplomatic cover.

The documents show that the plan was being pursued as recently as 2017, and involved Assange being transferred from his Ecuadorean embassy hideout — where he’s been stuck for the last six years — via a politically sensitive process whereby Ecuador would name him as a political counselor to the country’s embassy in Moscow.

Russia Sanctions ‘Madness’ Says Salvini

Play trump card once only says on using veto

(ANSA) — Moscow, October 17 — Sanctions against Russia are “economic, social and cultural madness”, Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini told Russian industrialists in Moscow on Wednesday.

“I come here free of charge because I think the sanctions are economic, social and cultural madness”, he said.

Salvini also called the sanctions “an absurdity”.

Asked if Italy might veto the renewal of the sanctions at the EU, Salvini said “we can only use once the trump card of the veto in Europe”.

“There’s the question of the EU budget, the question of migration, and the budget, which I don’t know what to play if they reject it but we’ll carry on all the same…” He said an assessment of what was most in Italian interests would be made. “We are counting on the fact that they are intelligent enough in Brussels to understand that they have gone over the top and that you have to return to good relations between the EU, Italy and Russia”.

“If someone made a mistake that person will have to pay but making hundreds of millions of citizens and small and medium businessmen pay is madness, I think”.

The interior minister and leader of the anti-migrant Euroskeptic League party added: “I feel at home in Russia while I don’t in other European countries”.

He said: “the problems of 2018 are to be solved sitting at a table and not with tanks at the borders”.

Big Tech Snuffing Free Speech; Google’s Poisonous ‘Dragonfly’

If the big social media companies choose what to publish and what not to publish, they should be subject to the same licensing and requirements as media organizations.

Google has decided it will not renew a contract with the Pentagon for artificial intelligence work because Google employees were upset that the technology might be used for lethal military purposes. Yet Google is planning to launch a censored search engine in China that will empower a totalitarian “Big Brother is watching you” horror state.

Freedom Watch filed a $1 billion class-action lawsuit against Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter, claiming that they suppress conservative speech online.

A Media Research Center report found that Google, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube stifle conservative speech and that in some instances staffers have admitted that doing so was intentional.

Chinese officials prevented a journalist, Liu Hu, from taking a flight because he had a low “social credit” score. According to China’s Global Times, as of the end of April 2018, authorities had blocked individuals from taking 11.14 million flights and 4.25 million high-speed rail trips.

Leaked Document Advises Chinese Regime on Fighting New Cold War

In the narrow “window” that remains before China is completely blocked by the United States from importing key technology, Beijing should use “unrestricted” and “supernormal” means, including “more precise, better concealed, and special ways,” to expedite the process of acquiring overseas talent and cutting-edge equipment, according to a leaked internal Chinese government document.

The 12-page proposal, titled “An Undeclared War: The Change of the Landscape of the World Will be Faster and More Dramatic Than We Have Expected,” is in two parts. The first part gives a detailed overview of the undeclared “New Cold War” between the United States and China, while the second part lists six recommendations of what China should do to get an upper hand in the fight.

The document was drafted by Wu Sikang, the director of the Development and Research Center of Shenzhen City, on Sept. 29. The copy obtained by The Epoch Times was signed by Wu and presented to Wang Weizhong, the Communist Party Secretary of Shenzhen City, the most important political figure in a major industrial city of more than 12 million people.

Amnesty Accuses France of Systematic Violations at Border

Paris must stop ‘turning blind eye’ says NGO

(ANSA) — Paris, October 17 — Amnesty International on Wednesday accused the French authorities of committing “systematic violations” of the rights of refugees and migrants at the border with Italy. The French section of the NGO reportedly the alleged violations of rights on the basis of an observation mission on October 12 and 13 at Briancon, in the French Alps, conducted with a number of other associations. This is not far from the Italian village of Clavière, where a French gendarmery police van was seen dropping off two men, suspected of being African migrants, in woods last week.

This incident has caused tension between Paris and Rome, with Interior Minister and Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini refusing to accept a French apology on Tuesday. Amnesty International said it had found a “long list” of violations and said the “French government must stop turning a blind eye”. It said the violations included the pushback of “26 people at a police check at the border at Montgenèvre towards Clavière, the first village on the Italian side, without individual examinations of their situations, nor the possibility to request asylum”.

Specter of Communism: Chapter Fourteen: Popular Culture — A Decadent Indulgence

[…]

Many members of the Beat Generation were indeed deeply influenced by communist and socialist ideology. For example, Jack Kerouac, the founder of the movement, wrote the short story “The Birth of a Socialist” before he became famous. The story was about his rebellion against capitalist society. Another representative of the movement, Allen Ginsberg, later openly became a communist (see Chapter 11 of this book) and supported pedophilia. Their works rejected traditional conventions, were deliberately disorganized, and used vulgar language. This group was the first major departure from the rules and principles of tradition, and they represented in nascent form the counterculture movement that would engulf the West in the 1960s.

Specter of Communism: Chapter Thirteen: Hijacking the Media

[…]

In Western countries, many liberal media establishments have become tools for concealing the truth and deceiving people. Many have forsaken basic professional ethics and instead resort to all sorts of unscrupulous attacks, abuse, and slander, regardless of the impact to their reputation or to society.

The specter has been successful because it has exploited human failings: the pursuit of fame and gain, ignorance, laziness, selfishness, misapplied sympathy, competitiveness, and the like. Some journalists self-righteously rebel against traditional values under a facade of knowing the truth. Some conform to the already morally debased “public demand” in order to get views. Some conform to the lowered standards for the sake of their careers. Some fabricate fake news out of jealousy and hostility. Some believe fake news because of their ignorance and laziness. Some exploit the kindness and sympathy of others in advocating social justice and thus tilt the entire society toward the left, resorting to unscrupulous tactics to achieve their political and economic goals.

  1. “The French government under President Emmanuel Macron is introducing national service for 16-year-olds across the country to “socially mix” youths and promote common values.”

Yeah well they tried to mix us with the Gypsies in my old elementary school. Our Physical Education teacher, a former catholic priest, had this lovely idea to force us all together to play football together and such. The result was that many of “us” got injured, because the Gypsies were quite rough players, and in the end, we haven’t mixed at all. But on the bright side – it was a real life lesson, not bad at all, even though the results were quite different from what our PE teacher wanted to prove…

“And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

    • With all due respect to the ex-priest who perhaps merely wanted to establish that Gypsies were human to cut down on the terror of some non-Gypsy humans, it could be that they only mingle well with non-Gypsies at the highest levels of society under limited circumstances….

The king and queen of the Gypsies are listed about 25 people down the list. It’s understandable that they would put the Wright Brothers in first place.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Woodland_Cemetery_and_Arboretum

      • We all know gypsies are human, and the terror comes about only after you make some bad encounter with them. Saying people are racist because they never met them nor dealt with them is a lie. The opposite is true, at least in my experience.

I know many Gypsies personally, I know the bad, but also the good. The baddest are those who lost their ‘heritage’ and have no Kings or Queens and no honor, and just live aimlessly in ghettos.

  2. Compare the rhetoric of the two articles on the same issue.

    • Americans in line with geopolitical games with China?

You mean manufacturers who want Chinese slaves to produce consumer goods they can sell here?

  3. I do not know. What is the goal pursued by the United States when so strongly outraged by the rights of Muslim Uigurs in China. Not humanitarian values, right?

Therefore, it will be necessary to demonstrate a good attitude of the United States to Muslims within their own country. I guess so. But I can’t know anything for sure.
