‘About 60 Organizations’ Are Considering a Lawsuit Against the SPLC Following $3m Nawaz Settlement

No fewer than 60 organizations branded “hate groups” or otherwise attacked by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) are considering legal action against the left-wing smear factory, a Christian legal nonprofit leader confirmed to PJ Media on Tuesday. He suggested that the $3 million settlement and apology the SPLC gave to Maajid Nawaz and his Quilliam Foundation on Monday would encourage further legal action.

‘Commie Cadet’ West Point Graduate Less-Than-Honorably Discharged From Army Over Viral Photos

According to the Associated Press, the heads of Fort Drum accepted the second lieutenant’s resignation on Monday for “conduct unbecoming of an officer.”

The Army said in a statement to the AP that it conducted an investigation and “appropriate action was taken.” Rapone reportedly said the investigation uncovered that he advocated for a socialist revolution and disparaged high-ranking officers online.

“I consider myself a revolutionary socialist,” he told the AP.

“I would encourage all soldiers who have a conscience to lay down their arms and join me and so many others who are willing to stop serving the agents of imperialism and join us in a revolutionary movement,” the 26-year-old added.

Rapone also issued “one final salute” to the Army on Twitter and shared a photo of him giving the middle finger to a Fort Drum sign.

Former Secret Service Agent Files RICO Suit Against Clintons, Soros, Podesta, Brock

Conspiracy theorists (and conspiracy factists) are running wild as infamously outspoken former Secret Service agent Gary Byrne has filed a Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) suit against what some call the Democrat Deep State.

Defendants in the case include:

CLINTON FOUNDATION, CLINTON-GIUSTRA ENTERPRISE PARTNERSHIP, MEDIA MATTERS FOR AMERICA, CORRECT THE RECORD, AMERICAN BRIDGE 21ST CENTURY, CITIZENS FOR RESPONSIBILITY AND ETHICS IN WASHINGTON, SHAREBLUE, DAVID BROCK, WILLIAM JEFFERSON CLINTON, HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON, GEORGE SOROS, JOHN PODESTA, JONATHAN WACKROW, JAN GILOOLY and CLINTON GLOBAL INITIATIVE.

Quite a rogue’s gallery.

Obama-Land Fiasco Worsens — Chicago Taxpayers Now Face $224 Million Bill

Authored by Mark Glennon via Wirepoints.com

The taxpayer bill for the Obama Center to be built on Chicago’s Southside now appears to be $224 million, not $172 million as initially reported, and it’s certainly not privately funded as initially promised.

And how many Chicagoans know they may be subject to a special property tax, in addition to those amounts, for the center?

Puerto Rican Mayor Who Bashed Trump Faces FBI Corruption Probe

The mayor of San Juan, Puerto Rico, who became infamous for bashing president Donald Trump’ s response to Hurricane Maria’ s devastation is facing an FBI corruption probe. Mayor Carmen Yulin Cruz and her administration are under fire for allegedly obstructing critical supplies from reaching victims of the category-4 hurricane that leveled much of the island nearly nine months ago.

Cruz has been facing a growing backlash from frustrated residents who say they feel forgotten and say the mayor’s personal political ambitions are coming at the expense of the very people she’s supposed to be representing. “She comes out, goes on television and pats herself on the back,” said Simon Menendez, a small business owner in San Juan.

At a time when residents needed food, water, and shelter, Cruz hired extra photographers to follow her around post-storm. “ It stopped being about us a long time ago,” Menendez added.

According to Fox News, the FBI reportedly launched the investigation following a February lawsuit filed by Yadira Molina, the former director of procurement. Molina claims she was retaliated against for reporting “alleged irregular acts” to the local comptroller. She says she was blocked from her right “to report wrongdoing in her capacity as a private citizen, not as a public employee.”

Rush Limbaugh Warns: ‘if the Media Keeps Generating This Hysteria, Somebody’s Gonna Get Killed’

Rush Limbaugh warned on his radio show today that if the media continued to generate hysteria over the Trump administration’s border policy, “somebody’s gonna get killed.”

“Okay. Folks, I’m just gonna say it here. If the media keeps this up — if they keep up generating this hysteria — somebody’s gonna get killed. I think we’re pretty close to somebody getting killed already, and I’m not being hyperbolic, and I’m not trying to call attention to myself,” said Limbaugh.

“I’m genuinely worried about the out-of-control aspect of this. The news media’s fanning the flames. The news media is leading the way on this,” he added.

Texas Billboard: ‘Liberals, Please Continue Until You Have Left the State’

A billboard spotted in Texas is likely to send people running to safe spaces and cry rooms. The billboard tells liberals to continue driving on I-40 until they have left the “great state of Texas.”

“Liberals,” the billboard reads. “Please continue on I-40 until you have left our GREAT STATE OF TEXAS.”

A photo of the sign was posted to Facebook by Kyle Mccallie, of Fritch, Texas. He wrote the billboard was six miles east of Vega, a city roughly 35 miles west of Amarillo, on the eastbound side of the highway. Mccallie’s post, which was uploaded earlier Tuesday, now has over 14,000 shares as of Tuesday night.

According to USA Today, the photo of the billboard shows a logo for “Burkett” below the content of the sign. A spokesperson for Burkett Media of Austin, Texas said that company is unaffiliated with the content on the billboard.

It’s actually pretty odd to see anti-liberal messages around. Most often, we are bombarded with leftist propaganda and authoritarian brainwashing to accept a wholly tyrannical state.

According to Bloomberg, the burger will be assembled and cooked in a machine that contains 20 computers, 350 sensors, and 50 actuator mechanisms — and zero human interference, other than having somebody present to hand the finished burger to customers.

Jordan Peterson Launches Defamation Suit Against Wilfrid Laurier University

University of Toronto Professor Jordan Peterson has launched a $1.5-million defamation suit against Wilfrid Laurier University, two of its professors and a former gender and equity manager for suggesting he was “analogous to Adolf Hitler.”

The statement of claim, prepared by lawyer Howard Levitt and filed Monday, says Peterson was falsely labelled as incompetent, sexist, misogynist, dangerous and racist in a now infamous disciplinary meeting with Wilfrid Laurier University teaching assistant Lindsay Shepherd.

Shepherd was disciplined during the meeting for showing students a TV clip of Peterson discussing gender-neutral pronouns, something the university later apologized for, but Peterson told the Toronto Sun Wednesday he believes the university failed to properly respond to the incident…

EU Committee Rules Could ‘Destroy the Internet as We Know it’

A European Union committee has just approved rules that could “destroy the internet as we know it.” The two new and controversial rules change the dynamics of the internet and introduce wide-ranging new changes to the way the web works.

For starters, the rules, known as Article 11 and Article 13 could be used to “ban memes.” Article 13 has been criticized by campaigners who claim that it could force internet companies to ban all memes. It requires that all websites check posts against a database of copyrighted work, and remove those that are flagged. The reason many believe this could lead to a meme ban is that memes often use images taken from films or TV shows and could be removed by websites under article 13. It’s just a convenient and propagandized way of making censorship sound better, though.

According to The Independent, an open letter published last week was signed by more than 70 experts, including web creator Tim Berners-Lee, Wikipedia co-founder Jimmy Wales and internet pioneer Vint Cerf.”By requiring Internet platforms to perform automatic filtering all of the content that their users upload, Article 13 takes an unprecedented step towards the transformation of the Internet, from an open platform for sharing and innovation, into a tool for the automated surveillance and control of its users,” that letter read.

But it gets even worse. As if that isn’t tyrannical and authoritarian enough, the EU made sure to add a tax with the creation of Article 11 — this is just more evidence that authoritarians will do anything it takes to steal more money, so here’s a tax on free speech. Article 11 introduces a “link tax”, requiring that internet companies get permission from publishers to use a snippet of their work. On websites like Google and Twitter, for instance, a small part of the article is usually shown before someone clicks into it entirely but under the new rule, those technology companies would have to get permission and perhaps even pay to use that excerpt. A letter signed by 169 academics argued that the new rule “would likely impede the free flow of information that is of vital importance to democracy.”

Hungary Restricts Immigration Amid Feud With Soros

On Wednesday, the Hungarian parliament approved a number of bills which would criminalize some kinds of assistance given to illegal immigrants and result in jail terms for violators.

According to Reuters, the legislation, better known by its nickname “STOP Soros”, would result in “individuals or groups who help migrants not entitled to protection to submit requests for asylum or who help illegal migrants gain status to stay in Hungary will be liable to prison terms.”

Reuters reports that in a written justification attached to the draft legislation, Interior Minister Sandor Pinter declared that: “The Hungarian people rightfully expects the government to use all means necessary to combat illegal immigration and the activities that aid it.”

Pinter further stated: “The STOP Soros package of bills serves that goal, making the organisation of illegal immigration a criminal offence. We want to use the bills to stop Hungary from becoming a country of immigrants.”

However, opponents of the legislation, including the Hungarian Helsinki Committee, which receives the majority of its funding (34%) from George Soros’ Open Society Foundation, argue that the new legislation will further narrow the definition of who gets refugee status. Marta Pardavi, Co-Chair of the Helsinki Committee asserts that “Instead of giving protection against persecution, the Hungarian government has decided to join the ranks of the persecutors.”

Why the “Abject Silence” From the Left About Child Migrant Detentions Under Obama?

Unless you’ve completely avoided media for the past two or three days, you’re no doubt aware by now that the controversy over the Trump administration’s decision to separate migrant children from their detained parents after they’ve been caught illegally crossing the border has exploded since ProPublica published a recording of children who’d been captured by ICE crying out for their parents, and the agency allowed a handful of reporters on a supervised visit of the facility where many of the children are housed.

However, the liberals who have been responded with a non-stop barrage of social media attacks on the President and those who voted for him, have apparently forgot that the US has been housing migrant minors for years — and that a sizable increase in the minor population held in US facilities occurred under Nobel Peace Prize winner President Obama. To drive this point home, Breitbart reporter Brandon Darby reminded us of this fact by tweeting photos from his 2014 visit to one such migrant detention center (as most should recognize, Obama was president at the time).

As the photos reveal, the “cages” that have become a locus of liberal fury are just like the ones used during the Obama-era. And yet, Darby noted that his original story about the holding centers was met with “abject silence” from the left. As anybody who’s been paying attention to the data would know, border crossings have only recently started to pick back up after an unprecedented drop last year, meaning Trump’s deportation numbers haven’t risen back to the highs reached under his predecessor, who carried out a record 97,000 criminal prosecutions for illegal border crossings in 2013, according to the Daily Caller.

There is something really odd that goes on in terms of people and power play. This counts for politics and some religion also. I am no psychologist but it is obvious it goes beyond just being fear, it is like people can become convinced or blinkered as to what reality “is”, reject positive possibilities etc. She could have escaped numerous times, but still returned to what was not a good circumstance. It is not that I blame her at all, I just cannot figure how this works, have seen it in others and self even, where you commit beyond reason and cannot after retract easily or see a bigger picture. Some of it is naivety, perseverance, devotion even, but still it is very hard to pinpoint the exact moment where people find themselves trapped…. maybe that is what being trapped is all about, not knowing it exactly.

Sometimes people just return to the same wall instead of walking round it or away from it.

    People are strange.
