After the Charlottesville melée, a “conservative” on Sean Hannity’s radio show went off on Nazis. He called them despicable, bottom-feeders, racists, and hate-mongers. He was happy that Richard Spencer, the white supremacist, got punched during D.C. protests and all but endorsed Antifa violence, saying hate speech can’t be allowed, has to be stopped.
So I guess this guy’s hate’s okay because he hates the right people?
Actually, yes, if the hate’s directed at a racist or Nazi, it’s not only okay, but encouraged. It’s our government’s way to shut down opposing views. Their efforts to silence the people isn’t new. They continually try to shame us into acquiescence, lecturing, “That’s not who we are” or “We’re better than that” over the border wall or the travel ban. They label us racists, bigots, homophobes, and Islamophobes.
But even this psychological bludgeoning doesn’t silence the American people. So our ruling elite take a different tack: they use the racism/hate trigger to offer up an enemy, a villain people will love to hate. They offer the Alt-Right, Nazis, and white supremacists.
So the Alt-Right becomes the new unspeakable evil. Nazis and white supremacist are so vile, so despicable, that they must be shunned, can’t be allowed to protest or march in public even with permits, even if it’s a peaceful march. This is why Antifa showed up in Charlottesville: to stop the evil Nazis and KKK from exercising their constitutional rights. Our saviors.

An Ideological Coup Against Trump?
If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, it is a duck. Maybe it does not sound yet like a “purge” and an ideological coup, but it is starting to look like one, engineered by Generals McMaster and Kelly. It is designed to eliminate President Trump’s national security agenda of support to Israel, opposition to the Iran deal, and determination to name and combat radical Islamist terrorism.
On Friday, in a letter reported by the Federalist, Sebastian Gorka’s explained his “resignation” by expressing his unhappiness with the direction that the Trump administration’s foreign policy has taken as signaled by the President’s recent speech on Afghanistan. Gorka stated:
“Regrettably, outside of yourself (President Trump), the individuals who most embodied and represented the policies that will ‘Make America Great Again’ have been internally countered, systematically removed, or undermined in recent months. This was made patently obvious as I read the text of your speech on Afghanistan… The fact that those who drafted and approved the speech removed any mention of Radical Islam or radical Islamic terrorism proves that a critical element of your presidential campaign has been lost.”
On Sunday, in an interview with the Jerusalem Post, Gorka offered harsh criticism of McMaster’s stance towards Islamists saying:
“McMaster sees the threat of Islam through an Obama administration lens, meaning that religion has nothing to do with the war we are in… He believes and he told me in his office that these people are just criminals.”
A source close to the White House said that after Bannon was forced out, anti-Bannon factions began erecting bureaucratic roadblocks to undermine Gorka internally…
As replacements for those fired, McMaster appointed individuals who are friendly with Obama-era ideologues who blame Israel for Palestinian terror, encourage negotiations with Hamas and are obsessed with the plan for Palestinian statehood…

Establishment Republicans Endorse the Communist Party
A shocking event took place after the University of Virginia Charlottesville protests. Establishment Republicans including Mitt Romney, John McCain, Paul Ryan, Marco Rubio, Gary Cohn, Fox C.E.O. James Murdoch, and many other Republicans endorsed Antifa, the radical paramilitary wing of the Hitler-era Communist Party.
It all began with President Trump correctly saying “I think there is blame on both sides. You look at both sides. I think there is blame on both sides,” … “You also had some very fine people on both sides”. President Trump understands that the main players in the recent spate of protests are Leftists and Anarchists — a fact also noticed by observant writer Dave Urbanski.
Antifa aggressively calls for “pre-emptive violence”, including gun violence, property seizures, and “all out revolution”. Antifa appears to be the unofficial “jackboots” of the Communist Party U.S.A (but liberals refuse to admit it yet). The CPUSA party platform boldly endorses violence to achieve party goals. There is some evidence that Antifa may also be a multipurpose ACLU tool to paint immigration enforcement as fascist. FBI, DHS Officially Classify Antifa Activities as ‘Domestic Terrorist Violence’
President Trump was crucified by the mainstream media a few weeks back after hosting an improvised press conference and saying there was “blame on both sides” for the violence in Charlottesville that resulted in the death of a counterprotester. The comments resulted in most of Trump’s advisory councils being disbanded, as CEO’s around the country pounced on the opportunity to distance themselves from the administration, and heightened calls from CNN for impeachment proceedings.
The problem is that while Trump’s delivery probably could have been a bit more artful, the underlying message seems to be proving more accurate with each passing day and each new outbreak of Antifa violence.
As Politico points out today, previously unreported FBI and Department of Homeland Security studies found that “anarchist extremist” group like Antifa have been the “primary instigators of violence at public rallies” going back to at least April 2016 when the reports were first published.

Google Issues Ultimatum to Conservative Website: Remove ‘Hateful’ Article or Lose Ad Revenue
On Tuesday evening, Google sent a conservative website an ultimatum: remove one of your articles, or lose the ability to make ad revenue on your website. The website was strong-armed into removing the content, and then warned that the page was “just an example and that the same violations may exist on other pages of this website.”
“Yesterday morning, we received a very bizarre letter from Google issuing us an ultimatum,” Shane Trejo, media relations director of the Republican Liberty Caucus of Michigan, wrote on The Liberty Conservative. “Either we were to remove a particular article or see all of our ad revenues choked off in an instant. This is the newest method that Big Brother is using to enforce thought control.”
The ultimatum came in the form of an email from Google’s ad placement service AdSense. The email specifically listed an article on The Liberty Conservative’s site, stating that the article violated AdSense’s policies.

Hypocrite Republicans Criticize Pardon of Sheriff Joe
McCain’s hypocrisy in damning Trump’s pardon of Sheriff Joe smells to high heaven. The Arizona Senator was among the most vocal critics. “Trump pardoning the sheriff ‘undermines his claim for the respect of rule of law,’ McCain tweeted.” What hogwash!
Remember, back in 2008, Jerome Corsi reported that McCain had been funded by Soros since 2001, and Soros was behind the removal of Sheriff Arpaio. We also know quite a bit about McCain’s past, which is a far bigger scandal than anything America’s favorite Sheriff has ever done. Let’s look again at McCain’s history.
As a former Viet Nam POW, we know that McCain recorded a Tokyo Rose-style propaganda message that was broadcast on North Vietnamese radio in 1969. It was hardly a secret in veterans’ circles that McCain had spent much of the war producing Communist propaganda broadcasts since these had regularly been played in the prisoner camps as a means of breaking the spirits of those American POWs who resisted collaboration.
But there is a far bigger scandal, which I touched on in a previous article.
Sidney Schanberg’s massively documented expose about McCain’s role in the POW/MIA cover up, is the greater scandal. Schanberg is one of America’s greatest wartime journalists, a Pulitzer Prize winning former top editor at The New York Times. In the years since then, other leading journalists have praised Schanberg’s remarkable research, now giving his conclusions the combined backing of four New York Times Pulitzer Prizes, while two former Republican Congressmen who had served on the Intelligence Committee have also strongly corroborated his account.
McCain fought against the release of classified Vietnam POW records and insisted they be sealed. He and John Kerry buried the evidence. He also voted against a Senate Select Committee recommendation to investigate possible POWs left behind that were classified as MIAs.
McCain purposely suppressed information about what happened to American soldiers missing in action in Vietnam. Throughout his Senate career, McCain has quietly sponsored and pushed into federal law a set of prohibitions that keep the most revealing information about these men buried as classified documents. Thus, the war hero who people would logically imagine as a determined crusader for the interests of POWs and their families became instead the strange champion of hiding the evidence and closing the books, most likely to protect himself.
In 1993 the front page of the New York Times broke the story that a Politburo transcript found in the Kremlin archives fully confirmed the existence of the additional POWs, and when interviewed on the PBS News hour former National Security Advisors Henry Kissinger and Zbigniew Brzezinski admitted that the document was very likely correct and that hundreds of America’s Vietnam POWs had indeed been left behind. The reality of Schanberg’s POW story is now about as solidly established as anything can be that has not yet received an official blessing from the American mainstream media.
McCain also had his POW records sealed, which is not consistent with someone proud of their record.

A US judge said Yahoo must face nationwide litigation brought on behalf of more than one billion users who said their personal information was compromised in three massive data breaches.
Wednesday night’s decision from US District Judge Lucy Koh in San Jose, California, was a setback for efforts by Verizon Communications Inc, which acquired Yahoo’s Internet business in June, to limit potential liability.
The breaches occurred between 2013 and 2016, but Yahoo was slow to disclose them, waiting more than three years to reveal the first.

Lawmaker’s Dangling of Assange Pardon Roils Intel Community
It may be a long shot but even the notion of pardoning Julian Assange — dangled by a GOP lawmaker — has sent tremors through the intelligence community, The Hill reports.
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher met with Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London where the WikiLeaks founder has been holed up for years, after which the California Republican reportedly is going to attempt to broker a deal with President Donald Trump.
According to Rohrabacher, Assange can provide proof that Russia did not interfere with the election — specifically the data theft of the Democrats — in exchange for a pardon, despite the fact Assange has not been charged with anything yet.

Lew Rockwell: US Fascism Behind Websites Purge

In a new interview with host Tom Woods at the Tom Woods Show, libertarian communicator Lew Rockwell provided a fascinating critique of private technology companies such as PayPal and the Google subsidiary YouTube recently ending their provision of services to organizations they deem unworthy. Mississippi Teen Allegedly Stabbed Woman, Cut Off Her Ear Before Stealing Car
A Mississippi teenager has been charged after he allegedly stabbed a woman in the neck and chest, cut off her ear, and stole her car Tuesday evening.
Corey Smith, 14, is being charged as an adult for aggravated assault, auto theft, and armed robbery in connection with the incident, the Daily Mail reported.
The Clarion-Ledger reports that the attack, which took place in the 61-year-old victim’s driveway at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, left her in critical condition.
A relative of the victim told KMBC that the woman parked her vehicle in her driveway, got out, and walked a few steps to her house when the young teen approached her from the side of the house.

New Evidence Reveals Comey Exonerated Hillary Before Key Witness Interviews
A new letter from Senators Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham reveal testimony from new witnesses suggesting that former FBI Director James Comey had already started drafting documentation exonerating Hillary Clinton long before interviewing key witnesses, including Hillary herself.
According to the letter, which is based on testimony from James Rybicki, Comey’s Chief of Staff, and Trisha Anderson, the Principal Deputy General Counsel of National Security and Cyberlaw, Comey began drafting a statement to announce the conclusion of the Hillary investigation in April or May 2016, well before he had interviewed up to 17 key witnesses.
Meanwhile, as if that weren’t bad enough, the Comey statement was also drafted before immunity deals were struck with Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson who seemingly ran point, along with Platte River Networks, to destroy Hillary’s emails after a Congressional subpoena had been issued mandating their preservation.

The Oregon Court of Appeals ruled Wednesday that a southern Oregon couple must quiet their incessantly barking dogs by sending them to the vet to have their voices surgically squelched.
The Appeals Court ruled “debarking” surgery is an appropriate solution to a noisy and relentless problem that neighbors living next to the dogs have had to endure for more than a decade on their rural property outside Grants Pass.
Debarking operations, also known as devocalization, are highly controversial. Groups such as the Oregon Humane Society and American Humane have spoken out against them. Six states have outlawed the procedure under certain circumstances, according to the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Pa. Stripper Brutally Stabbed to Death by Salon Nail Tech Who Hangs Himself
A woman in western Pennsylvania who worked as a stripper was found brutally stabbed to death inside a home of a man who worked as a salon nail tech.
The horrific scene was discovered Wednesday in Westmoreland County, and the man who police say stabbed the woman multiple times then hanged himself minutes later inside a closet in the home.
KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh is reporting the incident is a murder-suicide, with victim Ashley Ugoletti, 27, stabbed to death at the hands of Nguyen Tran, 31, who lived in the residence in Mt. Pleasant Borough…

President Trump Wants Tax Cuts, But Once Again the RINOs in Congress May Block His Agenda
It has become exceedingly clear that we need to try to remove as many establishment Republicans from Congress as we possibly can in 2018. Even though the Republicans are in control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives, the “Make America Great Again” agenda is not being implemented, and the blame for that lies entirely with the RINOs (Republicans in name only). Obamacare still has not been repealed, the wall has not been built, and now there is talk that the RINOs plan to block Trump’s tax reform bill. It was expected that the Democrats would try to obstruct Trump’s agenda, but Trump’s biggest problem so far in his presidency has been his fellow Republicans. On Wednesday, Trump delivered a major speech in which he boldly declared that we have a “once-in-a-generation opportunity” to implement tax reform.
And he is exactly right. The Republicans have not often had simultaneous control of the White House, the Senate and the House of Representatives, and so they should be attempting to push through as much of Trump’s agenda as possible.

Former California Attorney General Kamala Harris, who is now a Democrat Senator, is reportedly planning to run for President in 2020. SPLC Calls Army Bases ‘Confederate Monuments’ That Must be ‘Taken Down’
Far-left group dog-whistling domestic terrorism
The Southern Poverty Law Center has included three of the largest U.S. Army bases on their list of “Confederate monuments” with the “potential to unleash more turmoil and bloodshed” if liberal activists don’t “take them down.”
The SPLC included Fort Hood in Texas, Fort Bragg in North Carolina, and Fort Benning in Georgia on a comprehensive list of 1,500 “Confederate monuments” — which strangely include schools, streets, and even whole towns — that could inspire more violence similar to the clashes in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The list is essentially a call to destroy government property, as there is no other alternative presented as a solution to the leftist group’s grievances.

The Way the Left Has Responded to Hurricane Harvey is Absolutely Despicable
As with most terrible events, the destruction brought on by Hurricane Harvey has a silver lining. At a time when America has never been so divided, it was refreshing to see so many people helping each other out, regardless of race or political beliefs. All of that nonsense has fallen by the wayside. Everyone in Texas seems to be focusing on each other’s humanity, and indiscriminately helping out everyone in need. The storm has reminded us that at the end of the day, we’re all Americans.
Unfortunately, there is one particular segment of the population that is in no mood for some badly needed unity. It seems that a lot of people on the far-left have responded to this disaster in despicable ways. The hurricane has shown that leftists are so obsessed with politics, that they can’t let it go and appreciate human bravery and charity for a single second. For instance:
A Professor from the University of Tampa tweeted out that Texas deserved to be struck by the hurricane, because Texans largely voted for Donald Trump. It didn’t take long for the University to fire him.
A man with an airboat was recently spotted helping victims of the flood evacuate. The problem? A confederate flag was hanging from the boat. A former Clinton staffer took to twitter to express her outrage over the flag, and claimed that if he had rescued her, she would have torn it down and thrown it in the water.
Rather than simply report on the events surrounding Hurricane Harvey, the media has been quick to blame this storm on climate change and oil companies. They just can’t waste any opportunity to shoehorn climate change into disastrous events.
The Women’s March twitter account provided some racially-tinged advice for anyone who wanted to donate money for Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. The organization tweeted a “list of orgs working to keep immigrant, Black, Latinx & other communities safe after Hurricane Harvey.” What were they trying to imply? That most charity organizations are only going to help white people? Either way, the twitter account was hammered with negative comments that accused them of being racist.
Perhaps it’s not a surprise that leftist ideologue and sharia law apologist Linda Sarsour helped organize the Women’s March earlier this year, because she also used this tragedy to push her agenda. Rather then just telling her supporters to donate money to organizations that are strictly dedicated to helping relief efforts in Texas, she told them to donate to leftist political organizations. No explanation was given for how all of the money would be spent. The world delivered so much sympathy to the Charlie Hebdo magazine after their headquarters was attacked by terrorists several years ago. But when it came time for the admittedly leftist magazine to offer sympathy to disaster victims in our country, they went a different route. The newest cover of their magazine is an image of “drowning limbs saluting Nazi flags.” The title reads “God exists. He drowned all the neo-Nazis of Texas.” Because as we all know, the dozens of people who have died as a result of flooding are nothing but a bunch of racist skinheads.
Once again the far-left has shown its true colors. They have no respect for humanity or the victims of a tragedy. Not unless it affects the minorities that they love to pander to. To them, everything is political, and every tragedy is an opportunity to push their agenda.

On Friday, August 4, 2017, I attended the weekly Jummah prayers at the Chautauqua Institution Hall of Christ. The Abrahamic Program for Young Adults (APYA) leads the service each Friday with full support from the Institution’s department of religion. Each summer, the department selects four college-age students to serve for the season as the “face” of interfaith dialogues at Chautauqua: one liberal Jew, one liberal Christian, and two Muslims — one Sunni (male) and one Shia (female).
At the Hall of Philosophy, prior to introducing the various speakers, the department of religion director proudly invites a large audience (anywhere from 1,000 to 2,000) and residents to join the Friday Jummah, ostensibly to show how people of all religions can celebrate together through this Islamic service…

Why Are the Southern Poverty Pimps Funneling Cash to Offshore Tax Havens?
Incidentally, I was the first (at least I think I was the first) to report on the existence of the SPLC’s bank accounts in Caribbean tax havens years back but I didn’t take it further. In any event, here is a link to a 2016 FrontPageMag article I wrote years later about the group.

The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), a liberal, Alabama-based 501(c) (3) tax-exempt charitable organization that has gained prominence on the left for its “hate group” designations, pushes millions of dollars to offshore entities as part of its business dealings, records show.
Additionally, the nonprofit pays lucrative six-figure salaries to its top directors and key employees while spending little on legal services despite its stated intent of “fighting hate and bigotry” using litigation, education, and other forms of advocacy.
The Southern Poverty Law Center is perhaps best known for its “hate map,” a collection of organizations the nonprofit deems “domestic hate groups” that lists mainstream conservative organizations alongside racist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan and is often referenced in the media. A gunman opened fire at the Washington, D.C., offices of the conservative Family Research Council in 2012 after seeing it listed as an “anti-gay” group on SPLC’s website.
The SPLC has turned into a fundraising powerhouse, recording more than $50 million in contributions and $328 million in net assets on its 2015 Form 990, the most recently available tax form from the nonprofit. SPLC’s Form 990-T, its business income tax return, from the same year shows that they have “financial interests” in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, and Bermuda. No information is available beyond the acknowledgment of the interests at the bottom of the form.
Digging through (the usually excruciatingly dull) IRS filings, Schoffstall discovered that the group sent “hundreds of thousands to an account located in the Cayman Islands.”

Revealed! Europe’s Source of Surging Anti-Semitism
More than 70 years after the Holocaust, anti-Semitic violence again is a surging problem in Europe, according to a recent report authored by a Norwegian scholar.
But today, the culprits are not primarily Nazis. Rather, the bulk of this type of violence appears to come from Muslims and left-wing extremists, the report said.
Johannes Due Enstad, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Oslo, drew on data from a 2012 survey on anti-Semitism by the European Union’s Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA). The survey found that among respondents who said they had been victims of anti-Semitic violence, a strong plurality said the perpetrator was “someone with a Muslim-extremist view” in each of the four countries surveyed: France (53 percent), Sweden (51 percent), the United Kingdom (36 percent) and Germany (34 percent).
The numbers were much higher than the percentage in each country who said they were attacked by “someone with a right-wing view.” Those numbers were only 4 percent in France, 5 percent in Sweden, 7 percent in the U.K. and 11 percent in Germany.
Pamela Geller, president of the American Freedom Defense Initiative and author of the book “Stop the Islamization of America,” said there’s a lesson Europeans need to take away from the study.

Spain: 2 Seriously Hurt in ‘Cruelty Free’ Bull-Running Alternative
(TELEGRAPH) — A Spanish village’s attempt to invent a “cruelty-free” version of bull-running by replacing the animals with giant balls has ended in tragedy after two people were seriously injured.
One man was left in a coma after sustaining a serious head injury when he was crushed against metal barriers by the 300-kilogramme resin ball which chased runners around the town of Mataelpino, near Madrid during the event over the weekend.
Another man suffered three broken ribs and concussion.

Sweden: Man Sentenced for Eating Bacon in Front of Muslims
A 53-year-old man from Stockholm has been convicted of offensive behaviour, as he among other things ate bacon in front of three women in hijab on a commuter train.
It was on a commuter train in Stockholm, that the man began to eat bacon in front of three veiled women, reports marsta.nu.
According to the prosecution, the man demonstrative began to chew the pork in front of the women, and then followed them when they changed seats.
The whole thing lasted a few minutes.

A man has been arrested at a shopping centre in east London this evening after one man was stabbed and another injured as customers reported seeing ‘blood all over the floor’.
Police were called to what was described by one witness as a ‘mass brawl’ at the shopping complex where one stunned customer shared a photo on social media of officers and onlookers surrounding what appears to be a man lying motionless on the floor, as passersby held hands to their mouths in distress.
Hollie Rose said on Twitter: ‘Imagine getting locked in a store in Westfield only to come out to find blood all over the floor and police everywhere, brilliant.’
Justin Dealey added: ‘Thought I would come to Westfield Stratford for a change. Within minutes I’ve seen a mass brawl in the shopping centre.’
The Met Police said they were called at around 6.15pm to reports of a fight near Stratford station before they arrested a male on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
A spokesman added: ‘A male was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service suffering a stab injury — condition awaits…

‘Youth Gangs Openly Sell Drugs, Carry Guns in Swedish No-Go Zones’ — Local Shopkeeper to RT
Swedish police have recently expanded their list of so-called “vulnerable areas,” where crime and extremism run rampant. RT talked to locals and observers about the problems in these troubled areas, widely known as “no-go zones.”
Sixty-one neighborhoods throughout the country were identified in the latest Swedish police report as vulnerable areas, with 23 being categorized as particularly vulnerable, up from 15 last year. These hotspots are “characterized by a low socio-economic status where criminals have an impact on the local community,” according to the police definition.
An estimated 5,000 criminals are operating in these areas, making up around 200 criminal networks in total, according to the report. Witnesses are sometimes afraid to talk to police, and the presence of criminal gangs and the high levels of poverty and marginalization makes it harder for officers to do their job.

Caroline Glick: The Strategic Case for Kurdistan
If the leaders of Iraqi Kurdistan aren’t intimidated into standing down, on September 25, the people of Iraqi Kurdistan will go to the polls to vote on a referendum for independence.
The Kurds have been hoping to hold the referendum since 2013.
Whereas Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu restated his support for Kurdish independence earlier this month in a meeting with a delegation of visiting Republican congressmen, the Trump administration has urged Kurdish President Masoud Barzani and his colleagues to postpone the referendum indefinitely.
US Defense Secretary James Mattis, who visited with Barzani in the Kurdish capital of Erbil two weeks ago, said that the referendum would harm the campaign against Islamic State.
In his words, “Our point right now is to stay focused like a laser beam on the defeat of ISIS and to let nothing distract us.”
Another line of argument against the Kurdish referendum was advanced several weeks ago by The New York Times editorial board. The Times argued the Kurds aren’t ready for independence. Their government suffers from corruption, their economy is weak, their democratic institutions are weak and their human rights record is far from perfect.
While the Times’ claims have truth to them, the relevant question is compared to what?
Compared to their neighbors, not to mention to the Times’ favored group the Palestinians, the Kurds, who have been self-governing since 1991, are paragons of good governance. Not only have they given refuge to tens of thousands of Iraqis fleeing ISIS. Iraqi Kurdistan has been an island of relative peace in a war-torn country since the US-led invasion in 2003.
Its Peshmerga forces have not only secured Kurdistan. They have been the most competent force fighting ISIS since its territorial conquests in 2014.
The same is the case of the Kurdish YPG militia in Syrian Kurdistan.
As for Mattis’s argument that the referendum, and any subsequent moves to secede from Iraq, would harm the campaign against ISIS, the first question is whether he is right…

Turkey: Erdogan’s Purges Lead to Overcrowded Prisons: More Than 22,000 Detainees Sleep on the Ground
For the first time the total number of prison population exceeds 224 thousand. To date, Turkish jails can accommodate up to 200,000 detainees. The government frees common detainees to close the alleged “coup”. The funds allocated to prisons exceed the budget of many ministries. By the end of 2017, 76 new prisons ready.
Istanbul (AsiaNews) — Due to the overcrowding of prisons, at least 22,000 detainees in prisons in Turkey, many arrested in the aftermath of the failed July 2015 coup, are forced to sleep on the ground (around 9% of the total). According to the artigercek.com information website, the latest data shows that, for the first time in the history of the country, the total prison population has exceeded 224 thousand.
In recent days, the Turkish Justice Ministry has reported that out of 381 prisons spread across the country, 139 were built over the past 10 years. Of these, at least 38 in the last year to accommodate the victims of Erdogan’s purges. Ankara intends to expand the prison capacity by at least 11,000 units by the end of 2017, finalizing the construction of 76 new prisons. Another 113 are in the early stages, and 18 are currently planned on paper.
According to the report, at present the country’s prisons can accommodate up to 202,000 people; However, following the man hunt against opponents and the (supposed) coup henchmen launched by the Turkish authorities, there are over 224,000 people in jail today. Of these, 22 thousand sleep on the floor every night.
A survey published by Cumhuriyet daily notes the funds allocated to prisons are far greater than the budget available to various ministries. The annual cost for the maintenance of hundreds of thousands of detainees rose dramatically, reaching 6.6 billion Turkish lira (just under $ 1.9 billion).
Hence the choice of the government to grant conditional release to 3,000 people charged with minor crimes (not involving terrorism, sexual offenses, or involvement in the coup); Another 10,000 will be transferred to open prisons. In August this year, the Turkish authorities released 38,000 detainees to allow new citizens arrested for involvement in the coup.
One year after Turkey’s failed coup on 14-15 July 2016, when the power President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wavered, the campaign of repression against real or imaginary plotters and supporters continues. According to Turkey’s Justice Ministry, some 50,510 people have been arrested on coup charges, more than 120,000 have been detained, and 169,013 have been the subject of legal proceedings since the failed coup a year ago. Among the arrestees are 169 generals, 7,089 colonels and 24 governors. A total of 2,431 members of the Turkish judiciary are among those arrested, whilst 265 of them are at large. A total of 4,521 judges and prosecutors were dismissed from their jobs. No segment of Turkish society has been spared by the repression that followed the coup: journalists, intellectuals, professors, soldiers, government officials, judges, doctors, athletes, business people, and ordinary citizens.
The usually spurious accusations behind the arrests or investigations include membership in Kurdish “terrorist” groups or affiliation with the movement led by Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen, currently in exile in Pennsylvania (United States). According to Erdogan and the Turkish government, the latter masterminded the coup in which 270 people were killed and thousands wounded. Once an Erdogan ally, the Islamic leader has always denied any responsibility and has called for an international probe to shed light on the coup and the forces that inspired it. Meanwhile, in recent months, the president — who has called the coup attempt “a gift from God” — won a referendum making Turkey a presidential republic with a slim majority and under the cloud of electoral fraud. Today he sees himself as the nation’s strongman.

Venezuela’s Government Reports Nearly 10,000 Homicides in 2017
Venezuela’s government has tallied nearly 10,000 violent deaths nationwide this year through mid-August, a grim figure some observers contend is a serious undercount.
The Venezuelan Security Observatory, part of the federal Ministry of the Interior, Justice and Peace, recorded 9,927 homicides from January 1 through August 13, it said in a report released Monday.
Opposition lawmaker Simón Calzadilla expressed skepticism, citing figures from the nongovernmental Venezuelan Violence Observatory group that show Venezuela’s homicide rate has been increasing in recent years. It reported 27,875 violent deaths in 2015 and 28,468 in 2016.
“And this year it seems that we are going to break all the records,” Calzadilla said at a Tuesday news conference, predicting the homicide count could top 33,000.
Why the wildly disparate numbers? In part, it’s because Venezuela’s government does not include extrajudicial killings in its homicide totals, though human rights group do, two experts with the Brazilian think tank Igarapé Institute wrote in the Los Angeles Times earlier this year.

Billionaires Petition for Cheaper Workers, DACA Amnesty
Mark Zuckerberg’s FWD.us lobbying group is rallying billionaires and millionaires to protest the federal government’s rising enforcement of the workplace laws which help ordinary Americans earn good wages.
The CEOs digital strike against laws barring the employment of cheap illegal-migrants is being marketed as a campaign “about new developments in immigration policy that threaten the future of young undocumented immigrants brought to America as children,” according to the August 31 statement from FWD.us.
The “new development” opposed by the CEOs is the growing likelihood that state Attorneys General or President Donald Trump will scrap the “DACA” amnesty created by former President Barack Obama. The 2012 amnesty now provides work permits to roughly 800,000 illegal immigrants who mostly compete for jobs against blue-collar Americans.
More importantly, if the DACA amnesty is scrapped, the CEOs’ demands for more immigrant white-collar workers is more likely to be sidelined by Democrats during the expected 2018 negotiations over Trump’s wage-boosting merit immigration reform, dubbed the RAISE Act.

Blue State Blues: Why DACA Must Go — Now
President Donald Trump is set to reverse President Barack Obama’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy, which allowed roughly one million “Dreamers” — illegal aliens brought into the U.S. as children — to remain in the country without being deported.
Most of the debate around DACA has focused on the humanitarian reasons — compelling, in many cases — to allow beneficiaries to stay in the only country many of them have known.
But there is a straightforward remedy for those individuals: Congress can pass a law enabling them to stay.
That is what was supposed to happen, if President Obama had respected the Constitution’s separation of powers. Instead of working with the political opposition to find a compromise most Americans would accept, Obama decided to act on his own, abusing the powers of prosecutorial discretion to grant temporary amnesty to roughly one million people…
DACA and its successor, Deferred Action for Parents of Americans (DAPA), are just two examples of President Obama’s habit of circumventing the Constitution and trying to rule by executive decree.
Others include Obamacare, which passed Congress on a party-line vote, but which the Obama White House unilaterally amended; the Iran deal, which was never submitted to the Senate for ratification; and the Clean Power Plan, which Obama pushed through the Environmental Protection Agency after Congress refused to pass the climate change legislation he wanted.
These policies violated the Constitution, and Obama knew it. As Speaker of the House John Boehner pointed out at the time, Obama said 22 times that he did not have the constitutional authority to grant amnesty to illegal aliens on his own — “I am not king” — and then did so anyway, under DAPA, after his party lost the 2014 midterm elections.

Italy: Raggi Requests Barracks for Rome Housing Crisis After Evictions
Rome mayor meets Minister Minniti after controversial evictions
(ANSA) — Rome, September 1 — Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi said Friday that she requested military barracks be made available to help the capital cope with its housing emergency during a meeting with Interior Marco Minniti. “(I proposed) that barracks be made available, which have accomodation facilities and could be used to bring down the waiting lists,” Raggi said. “Let’s not forget that over 10,000 people have been waiting over 10 years for a house in Rome”. Friday’s meeting comes after a police operation to evict hundreds of Eritrean refugees and asylum seekers from a building near Termini Station where they had been squatting for years caused alarm. The migrants clashed with police when they were cleared out of a nearby square, where they had camped for four days. Aid agencies and leftwing politicians said the migrants should not have been evicted, and subsequently moved on, without alternative lodging being provided. The evicted migrants reportedly refused lodgings outside Rome because it would have meant moving their children out of schools and being split up. Italians on housing lists for years regularly claim migrants are being jumped past them.
Minniti and Raggi held talks in a “fully constructive atmosphere,” a joint statement said. The pair agreed on “the importance of inter-institutional cooperation, like that taking place with the regional government, to address the issue of the housing emergency, migration and reception policies, setting respect for the law and humanity as priorities” the statement said.

UK: Hundreds of Landlords Fined Over Illegal Immigrants
Owners of 236 properties have been fined under the government’s Right to Rent scheme, which was created to ensure that tenants or lodgers actually have the right to be in Britain.
Hundreds of landlords have been fined in a crackdown on illegal immigration.
Penalties totalling £163,000 were handed out after the Right to Rent scheme was rolled out across England, official figures show.
Fines were issued to 236 property owners between the start of February 2016 and June this year — a rate of around one every two days.
Right to Rent requires landlords or householders to establish that tenants or lodgers have a right to be in the country by taking copies of documents such as passports or identity cards.
Failure to comply can lead to fines of up to £3,000 a tenant, while those who knowingly rent to people with no right to be in the country can face up to five years in prison.

UN Refugee Agency Says They Want at Least 380,000 Migrants in Europe Per Year
The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) has said there are at least 380,000 people that are seeking refuge in Europe every year, and the European Union should work to take in more migrants.
Currently, the EU is increasing the number of asylum seekers it takes in through legal channels at a rate of 20,000 per year, but the UNHCR said the increase is not enough. The group has called for a double-digit increase in numbers and said the new proposal to accept migrants in Africa could facilitate a growth in numbers, Austrian newspaper Kurier reports.
Ruth Schöffl, a spokesman for the UNHCR, said: “We welcome these new ideas as we expect the number of resettlements to increase.”
“The possibility of resettlement is naturally linked to the fact that the illegal migration is stopped,” she added.
Schöffl touted the “stability” of Europe compared to other parts of the world saying: “Europe is very stable compared to other continents, there are more than one million refugees in Uganda alone.”

We should consider, that under all criminal codes throughout the Anglosphere, the concept of children being responsible for their criminal actions are subject to the legal definition of Mens Rea and Actus Rea – in other words, those under 14 years of age ‘legally’ are considered to have little comprehension for what their criminal actions may actually produce, i.e. diminished responsibility.

I agree totally with this, but there are some points to keep in mind.
Tax simplification is a rabbit hole. The real effect is in lowering the tax rates. If the general tax rates are low enough, corporations and individuals won’t bother running through all the loopholes.
Also, the number of tax brackets is a rabbit hole. Most people either use tax programs, or have their taxes prepared by someone who uses a tax program. I do the taxes for 3 people (non-paid, of course). You can have 100 tax brackets and it makes absolutely no difference in the work involved.
One of the things making the RINOs so powerful is that not one democrat has broken ranks to support anything Trump proposes. My question is why didn’t Trump call in the Democratic legislators, and say “I’m planning on rescinding DACA, lock, stock and barrel. Can anyone offer a deal for trade? By the way, my offer will be released to the press after this meeting, so everyone will see that the dreamers are losing their privilege because the Democrats refused to bargain.”
Personally, I’d be willing to make a deal. The dreamers get to stay if the parents and family that brought them in illegally have to go back to Mexico or wherever. The dreamers, as minors, may not have been responsible for coming in illegally, but their parents were decidedly responsible. Also, the family reunification doesn’t apply to any dreamer, now or on naturalization. No children, parents, aunts, uncles, sisters or brothers. Also, they don’t get to marry a foreigner and bring her in as a citizen. If the dreamers are so stuck with the US culture, they don’t need to go outside the country for a spouse. Also, no dual citizenship for a dreamer, ever. If they want to keep Mexican citizenship, they can, but if they identify with Mexico, there is no reason to bypass immigration restrictions to allow them to stay in the US. It might be more convenient for them, but if they are true-blue loyal to the US, they shouldn’t even want a dual citizenship.
This issue may be a perfect example of where Israeli and US policy interests diverge.
It doesn’t really matter who’s right and who’s wrong. If Israel wants to support an independent Kurdish country, it should do so on its own, with its own resources. The US should not feel obligated to support a Kurdish territory, either financially or militarily, if the US government doesn’t feel it in US interests.
I’m not arguing against Israel. I’m arguing for a separation of the US and Israel in terms of support and policy-making, including a withdrawal of US aid, except for deals beneficial to both sides, such as development of military technology or border control technology.
I personally would love to see an independent Kurdish area thumb its nose at Turkey, but I don’t think the US should be involved. Israel is closer, and may see the deal as critical to its security. If so, Israel should put its own iron in the fire.

I believe that Israel would not fare too well if the United States withdrew from supporting the only stabilizing influence within the Middle East. Syria, Jordan and Iran – just to mention three of Israels mortal enemies – would have no hesitation in attacking a lone Israeli state.
When the Johnson Administration withdrew all support for Israel back in 1967 – and that was a deliberate policy with which to undermine the legitimacy of the Israeli state – the result was the Six Day War and if not for aid provided by France and ground to air missiles provided by a rogue element within the Johnson Administration – Israel would have been annihilated.
The geopolitics of the region require less diplomacy and the threat of stern action from Israel if Israel is to survive the aggressive and destructive actions the of Islamic states toward Israel throughout the Middle East and Turkey.
All Islamic states are run by dictators or oligarchies – the the only type of ‘government’ that can keep all the Islamic sects from destroying, not only themselves, but the entire state that controls them.

I think it typical of human thinking to lay the blame upon a whole population for the actions of that population’s system in place that governs their lives, be it an elected government or hierarchical system that controls through religion and politics, such as the Sanhedrin, who controlled Jerusalem and every large town in Judea and Samaria in the time of Jesus.
In Jerusalem, the Sanhedrin were a council of 70 men and one High Priest. It was the Sanhedrin who failed to acknowledge the Messiah as presented in their own scripture, not the entire Hebrew population at that time who really had no say in what the Sanhedrin got up to.
If the finger should be pointed at those responsible for the death of Jesus, then it must be laid fairly and squarely at the feet of those who ruled within the Sanhedrin Council at that time.

The United States is the one indispensable nation. Without it, human liberty would cease to exist within a quarter-century. Within a half-century everyone would be speaking Russian, Mandarin or Arabic.

Actually, Israel is a modern state, with a vibrant economy, a very effective military, and nuclear weapons. I think Israel would survive quite nicely without massive US foreign aid.
I’m following some Jewish/Israeli nationalists on twitter who would love to have the US stop interfering in Israeli affairs, and would be more than happy to forego US aid for the privilege.
The US and Israel have a co-dependent relationship right now. The US makes it a major diplomatic incident whenever Israel builds an apartment in the disputed areas. Those are internal Israeli matters, warranting no US action at all, but a lot of the people in the US, not all Jews, consider Israel as a quasi-51st state.
Furthermore, Israel, like anyone being subsidized by someone else’s money, like a lazy relative, has some built-in inefficiencies in its economy. A very large proportion of the Orthodox in Israel do not work at all, and do not serve in the military. I don’t want to subsidize this sort of religious lethargy. Nor, do I wish to tell Israel how to conduct its affairs. Hence, no aid and no kibitzing.
Israel has a formal peace treaty with Jordan, so I don’t believe Jordan can be termed as a “mortal enemy”.
Israel is sitting on Syrian land in the Golan. Syria would love to take the land back, but can’t, because Israel is too strong. It’s not the US military that enforces this: its the Israeli military.
Israel may or may not have subsidized ISIS to weaken the Syrian government. The US has undoubtedly contributed to ISIS and Syrian instability. My own view is, the US influence and activity in the region have been a huge detriment to the people and to the stability of the region. Again, I think Israel, having to live with the consequences, should be the one to decide whether it’s part of its vital security to de-stabilize Syria. But, I want Israel to have to live with the consequences of its decision, without US running interference.
On Iran, again Israel has a modern effective military and nuclear weapons. They also, according to a lot of accounts, have a de facto military alliance with Saudi Arabia against Iran. It’s obvious that if Iran acquires nuclear weapons, Israel will go on a hair-trigger alert, if not a preemptive strike. If Israel’s military actions are linked to US approval, Israel won’t be able to act quickly.
I think it’s pretty far fetched to say Israel would have been annihilated were it not for French aid and a rogue US military. Israel had a strong military at the time, and carried out a preemptive and very successful first strike because Egypt blockaded the gulf of Aqaba and was probably stockpiling weapons poised to strike Israel. Are you aware that in 1956, Israel in alliance with France and Britain attacked and occupied the Suez canal, and only withdrew because Eisenhower threatened them?
I don’t opposed contracts with Israel to share or develop military technology, as long as Israel pulls its own weight, which it is fully capable of doing.
I agree Israel needs a strong military, and it has one. As far as diplomacy, as always, Israel has complex relations and needs the flexibility of independence. The US is always pressuring Israel to set the Palestinians up as an independent state, even though the Palestinians refuse to recognize Israel, refuse to negotiate, and subsidize terrorists and their families.
So, obviously there are pros and cons to allowing the Palestinians to have a fully-recognized state. I think Israel is best qualified to decide if the two state solution is best, or if the present form of quasi-protectorate is best. But, I don’t want the US involved in the decision. Hence, no aid, so it’s entirely in Israel’s hands, and Israel has to live with the consequences.
I don’t believe that in the least. If Israel could not exist except for US subsidies and aid, the question is, why is it there in the first place? But, like I said, Israel is a vibrant economy and a nationalist state able to teach the US many lessons.
I do believe the US should run interference when the UN, the European Union, and other parasite, globalist organizations try to isolate and boycott Israel. Here are my responses to your questions. Keep in mind overall my thesis is that the US should not provide military aid or support to Israel in the form of grants or guarantees. I do wish to see sales to Israel, but I think Israel should stand on its own feet. The converse of that is that the US should not dictate to Israel what is in effect, internal Israeli affairs.
This is not being hostile to Israel. I take the position that Israel itself will have to get the best deal it can from its neighbors, and if it can’t eliminate a threat through diplomacy, might have to strike quickly, forcefully and perhaps brutally. But without dragging the US in.
Been there, done that. I’m writing this in word, to transfer when I’m finished, just to provide a safety factor against disappearing.
I never said Israel should give back the land. I said that the strong Israeli military is preventing Syria from taking back the land, which it would love to do. Most likely, giving back all or part of the land would be necessary for a formal peace with Syria. Is it worth it? Only Israel can decide that. My position is that the US should not provide a military guarantee or military support, and that conversely, Israel should decide for itself without US pressure to possibly compromise its security.
The answer is, it depends. Israel has a formal peace with Egypt right now, an informal military alliance with Saudi Arabia, and used to be allies with Iran before the Shah was deposed.
I was responding to the claim that Jordan is a mortal enemy of Israel, which it is not. Israel is in a dangerous part of the world, no doubt. Does that mean the US should pour mountains of aid into Israel? I don’t think so. Is the US obligated to provide massive aid to any threatened country?
On the most basic level, because the US sponsored, financed, trained and supported rebellions against the Syrian government have resulted in tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dead Syrians, millions of refugees, and the decimation of Christian and Yazidi communities in Syria which were protected by the Syrian government. So, if Israel were a part of that, I would believe it to be acting immorally, as I believe the US government acted.
I could see Israeli reasoning going like this: Syria is allied with Iran (much less before the US-sponsored interventions) and Syria has a coherent fighting force. If Israel ever got involved in a general conflagration in the Middle East: Hamas shooting rockets, Hezbollah shooting rockets, Iran attacking…Israrel would have to worry about an invasion from Syrian forces. So, better Syria is not so coherent as a country.
Again, I think this is an Israeli decision to make. They probably wouldn’t be so effective in destabilizing the Syrian government without massive US and European interference, and that’s fine with me. I’m not so happy with seeing the widespread suffering in Syria, even without the fact that the Syrian situation provides a springboard for massive migration to the West.
I presume you’re referring to the apocalyptic doctrine of Shia that the Mahdi will only return in a general cataclysmic eruption, akin to a nuclear war. So, this presents a massive threat to Israel, if the Iranian leaders take it seriously, since they thus wouldn’t mind starting a nuclear war, even if Iran gets roasted.
Recall, my thesis is that the US should not be providing aid to Israel. The US has squeezed Israel out of the Iranian nuclear negotiations anyway, so I don’t see where aid to Israel is relevant. The US has reasons independent of Israel to ensure Iran does not go nuclear. But, if Iran ever does achieve nuclear capability, Israel will go on a hair trigger. Again, I don’t see where US aid to Israel will change anything.
I know Britain and France were upset when the Suez Canal was nationalized by Egypt. Egypt, of course, blocked all Israeli shipping through the canal. So, Britain and France invaded to take back the Suez, which was built with French and British financing, engineering, and initiative. I don’t know about the relative oil interests, but my point was, Israel was able to act independently of US military support or aid.

Is this a reason to sponsor a civil war to get Assad out of power? Not for the US. The rebel groups are allied with Al qaeda, which has killed many more US citizens than Hezbollah. I’ve read several accounts. One fact that sticks out like a sore thumb is that the US command did not inform Israel there was a US ship in the area. The board of inquiry into the matter, headed by John McCain’s father, was accused of a cover-up. If there was a cover-up, one major area of the cover-up was the failure of the US command to take appropriate steps to protect its ship. Kind of like the Pueblo incident with North Korea.
The two sides of the Liberty question are
1) It was a case of “fog of war” where an embattled Israeli military was taking no chances with an unidentified ship in a battle zone with a profile not too different from ships used by Egypt; or
2) It was a calculated attack by Israel on a ship they knew to be a US intelligence ship to cover up the fact that Israel had territorial designs associated with the war which were planned well before the war began.
So, which side is true? I don’t know. It seems that it would be a large risk for Israel to knowingly attack a US ship, because of the consequences if the truth got out. Even if the Liberty had been sunk, wouldn’t the US have tracked the hulk and found the damages associated with Israeli guns? But, I don’t think either side is proven.
I do not think US interests and Israeli interests are exactly the same. Like with any two countries. Do I trust Israel completely: of course not. Do I care if Israel annexes the Golan Heights and the West Bank and the disputed territories? No. But I want it to be an Israeli operation and not a US operation, and financed by Israel, not the US. I have also mentioned I’m opposed to dual citizenship. You have to decide which country has your primary loyalty in case of a conflict of interests.

I can tell you Ronald, that on the Liberty question, you are streets ahead of most in your summations. Many simply hear or see the word ‘Jooo’ and close their ears to what really occurred in that incident.
But you need more information with which to come to a realization of how far the Deep State will go in geopoliticking to suit their New World agenda and that includes, selling out their ‘allies’ in the process.
What occurred to the Liberty at that time was determined to go beyond the public’s need to know, wherein lies the problem with anyone, apart from those who knowingly permitted such an incident to occur, and who were sworn to uphold a certain narrative to protect the national interests of both Israel and the United States, and in the process of that, has precluded any relevant information being available that would allow the inquisitive to join all the dots together.
That book, The Secret War against the Jews, I now ask you to read as it will not only assist you in reassessing why the Liberty incident came about, it will also enlighten you further as to what you already understand about the Deep State and how it operates, and too, how Britain has played a major part in the problems that we today now have to deal with.
Read it Ronald. I guarantee it will open your eyes even further.

Bernard Lewis, IIRC, made the point that Islam denies the existence of an observable order to the natural world. Allah wills when you and I blink our eyes and how often each bird flaps its wings. Did that lead just fall to the ground? Allah at work!
Earthquakes happen because Allah wills them and an artillery shell flies through the sky along a path minutely determined by Allah. It could do a loopdeloop if Allah ordains.
To say that one can formulate certain laws about the behavior of matter and how it behaves independently of Allah’s will is thus blasphemy as no human may think anything that suggests that Allah is not all knowing and all powerful.

Once again, glancing though the daily headlines is all the evidence we need to understand the diabolical state of the world today.

Too true! I believe the reason is that normal people are still in a state of confusion. We cannot get our heads around what is happening as our society continues to deteriorate in such a public manner.
Connection with our history has been severed by those professors hiding in their departments of hatred. They have already poisoned our kids under our very noses – and charged us through the nose at the same time. We have paid a fortune for our kids to be ruined!

I was a sales rep for a very large printing company when I was made aware of Morris Dees and his direct marketing company in Birmingham, Alabama during the latter 1960s. I called on his company and have kept track of him and his business dealings over the years as I slowly realized that I viewed him as a money groveling charlatan willing to do anything to line his pockets. To know and understand the SPLC, which is a cash cow for those in charge, please carefully do your research. I suggest you start HERE.

Ande now SPLC has amassed millions offshore in the Cayman Islands. They are very powerful in D.C. and can compromise legislation to suit their needs. Ironic how a hate program has the power to decide who is in and who is out.
If you step back and look at it, it’s pretty funny how completely SPLC fleeces credulous Jewish leftists and lines its own pockets. It’s like watching the Onion version of Elmer Gantry. Or, the Monty Python version.
Don’t we have any populist comedians who can run with the SPLC and its never-ending plaintive appeals for funds and it’s boilerplate tabloids and glossies sent as holiday greeting cards to all its affinity patsy contributors?
