Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/16/2017

The Italian government is considering issuing Schengen area visas to 200,000 migrants, which would allow them to travel north to other European countries and relieve some of the pressure on Italy. Some observers refer to this possibility as “Italy’s nuclear option”.

In other news, this week marks the 100th anniversary of the first use of mustard gas in warfare.

Bank of Italy Raises 2017 Growth Forecast to 1.4%

From 0.9% in January

(ANSA) — Rome, July 14 — The Bank of Italy on Friday raised its 2017 growth forecast by 0.5%, to 1.4% from 0.9% in January, citing a boost in consumer spending and investments. The central bank also raised next year’s forecast, to 1.3%. The Bank of Italy said the forecasts had been made in light of the European central Bank continuing its current expansionary policies, and could change if the ECB were to change those policies.

The Italian central banks said it saw both consumer spending and investments growing at “relatively steady rates”.

3 Examples That Show How Common Core is Destroying Math Education in America

Whenever you let federal bureaucrats get their hands on anything they are probably going to ruin it. During the Obama administration, the Department of Education spearheaded a transformation of American education that was absolutely breathtaking. Over a period of about five years, Common Core standards were implemented in almost every state in the entire nation. Unfortunately, this has resulted in a huge step backward for public education in this country. Common Core has been called “state-sponsored child abuse”, and it is a big reason why U.S. students are scoring so poorly on standardized tests compared to much of the rest of the world.

According to Wikipedia, at one point 46 states had adopted Common Core, but now some states are having second thoughts…

46 states initially adopted the Common Core State Standards, although implementation has not been uniform. At least 12 states have introduced legislation to repeal the standards outright,[1] and Indiana has since withdrawn from the standards.

Sadly, many parents don’t even understand how dramatically our system of education has been tampered with. In her book entitled The Education Invasion: How Common Core Fights Parents for Control of American Kids, Joy Pullmann exposes how the Gates Foundation has been one of the key players in the effort to get Common Core introduced into classrooms all over America…

But this isn’t just an issue about control. The truth is that the approach to teaching basic fundamentals such as how to add and how to subtract is fundamentally different under Common Core.

Let me share just three examples that show how much Common Core is changing the way that U.S. students learn math. All of these examples have been floating around Facebook, and if you have never seen these before they are likely to make you quite angry.

If I asked you to subtract 12 from 32, how would you do it? Well, the “new way” is much, much more complicated than how we were all taught to do it…

[…]

As I end this article, I want to give you an idea of just how far the quality of education in America has fallen over the past 100 years. In Kentucky, an eighth grade exam from 1912 made a lot of headlines when it was donated to the Bullitt County History Museum. As you can see, it is doubtful whether many of our college students would be able to pass such an exam today…

[Comment: Part of the globalist program to drive down the intelligence of Americans over successive generations. See the test from 1912.]

4 Tools to Protect Your Information From the Google Deep State

How you can protect yourself NOW

With information becoming more connected each and every day, many US citizens have raised concerns over privacy.

Privacy activists have attacked phone companies in particular for giving away personal user information to the NSA with zero permission.

The worst offender by far, however, isn’t Verizon or AT&T, but rather an internet search engine conglomerate known as Alphabet Inc.

Founded in 2015, the American multinational conglomerate Alphabet Inc. was created as a parent company of Google and several former Google subsidiaries. Alphabet Inc. made a whopping $90.27 billion in 2016, and has over $160 billion in total assets.

If you aren’t scared yet, you should be. This multinational conglomerate owns 12 separate companies, each of which has an incredible stranglehold in their areas of expertise.

From Calico, a longevity research company, to Deep Mind, their AI research program, it’s astonishing they haven’t been broken up by the government for violating anti-trust laws.

Clinton Foundation Witness Found Dead

WASHINGTON — Klaus Eberwein, a former Haitian government official who was expected to testify against alleged Clinton Foundation corruption and malpractice next week, has been found dead in Miami via gunshot wound to the head.

The death was ruled a suicide. Eberwein was 50 and reportedly told acquaintances he feared for his life for his fierce criticism of the Clinton Foundation.

Eberwein was due to appear next Tuesday before the Haitian Senate Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission where he was widely expected to testify that the Clinton Foundation misappropriated Haiti earthquake donations from international donors…

According to Eberwein, a paltry 0.6 percent of donations granted by international donors to the Clinton Foundation with the express purpose of directly assisting Haitians actually ended up in the hands of Haitian organizations. A further 9.6 percent ended up with the Haitian government. The remaining 89.8 percent — or $5.4 billion — was funneled to non-Haitian organizations.

“The Clinton Foundation, they are criminals, they are thieves, they are liars, they are a disgrace,” Eberwein said at a protest outside the Clinton Foundation headquarters in Manhattan last year.

CNN is Part of a World Awash in Lies. What Can You Believe in?

Lies, lies and more lies that is what we have discovered CNN is pedaling on its pro-ported news broadcasts. And it is not just that they have abandoned all the cannons of journalistic ethics. It used to be that no self respecting reporter who served in any capacity would turn in a story unless there were two credible sources they were relying upon…

And the problem goes much deeper than the fake journalists that are everywhere. What about all the fake science that is paraded before the public? What about the so called global warming caused by man’s activities on earth? “The leaking of over 1,000 emails, computer code sets, and other documents from the University of East Anglia Climatic Research Unit (CRU) back in November of 2009. The leaks revealed a network of corruption and fraud on the part of climate scientists. Such was the depths of the scandal that the event came to be known as “Climategate.”

Much (but still not enough) has been written in detail about Climategate. The gist of it, however, is that climate scientists had been cooking their data in order to support their preconceived conclusions. They had been guilty of practicing fake science in order to show both that global warming was a crisis and that anthropogenic (“man-made”) global warming was occurring.

“Global warming” was now tainted because of its association with Climategate.”[3] So what did the fake science promoters do? They changed the label to Climate Change. Duh, the weather changes all the time, the honest climatologists, if you can find one, will show you the history of ice ages, and warming periods throughout the history of mankind. No news in the fact that Climate Changes. When you scratch the surface of this lie, you discover it is really about the governments of the world coming together in a one world government that has far reaching control and regulation of every human activity on the planet. You could call it fascism on steroids.

Elon Musk Says Artificial Intelligence is the ‘Greatest Risk We Face as a Civilization’

Appearing before a meeting of the National Governor’s Association on Saturday, Tesla CEO Elon Musk described artificial intelligence as “the greatest risk we face as a civilization” and called for swift and decisive government intervention to oversee the technology’s development.

Part of Musk’s worry stems from social destabilization and job loss. “When I say everything, the robots will do everything, bar nothing,” he said. But Musk’s bigger concern has to do with AI that lives in the network, and which could be incentivized to harm humans.

FEC Shoots Down Plan to Target Drudge, Infowars

Officials stop Dem’s censorship program

The Federal Election Commission (FEC) has shut down a proposal by Democrat Commissioner Ellen Weintraub to target the Drudge Report, Infowars, Breitbart and others, stating it cannot “burden the free speech rights of American citizens.”

FEC officials opposed to her plan said it was “premature and counterproductive” because the whole “Russian collusion” narrative lacked concrete facts.

“At this time we do not know all of the facts and cannot support proposals that would burden the free speech rights of American citizens based on incomplete information about foreign activities in the 2016 election,” the FEC said in a statement.

In addition, there’s no evidence to suggest the FEC’s current rules are “inadequate to detect, enforce, and punish violations,” the FEC added.

Weintraub is one of two Democrats serving on the FEC’s five-member board and, interestingly, she has taken at least 30 foreign trips funded by foreign governments and taxpayers while serving at the FEC.

“Weintraub’s trips included a $9,000 week-long junket to Indonesia… on another trip, Weintraub dined with socialist leaders in Albania,” reported the Washington Free Beacon. “Weintraub has taken trips to Mexico, El Salvador, the Philippines, and Honduras.”

As I previously reported, Weintraub was laying the groundwork to issue subpoenas to investigate the newsroom decisions of independent media.

Islam’s Onslaught of America: Replacing US Constitution With Sharia Law

If you look from Paris, France to Amsterdam, Holland to Denmark, to Sweden, to the United Kingdom to Sydney, Australia to Ontario, Canada to Fort Hood, Texas to Berlin, Germany to Fort Lauderdale, Florida-the violence of Islam manifests at blinding speed.

Muslims kill people when they gain enough numbers to make their power known. They make demands on every host country to conform to their Sharia Law. You cannot escape the reality that Islam provokes violence, teaches violence and lives violence everywhere it lands.

Muslim husbands and brothers “honor kill”, on average, 20,000 women annually. Their women cannot drive, vote, speak up or dress as they wish. They cannot choose a husband. They suffer female genital mutilation at the hands of Muslim men. They cannot go out into public without a male. They suffer rapes at the will of Muslim men.

Islam teaches violence to its children to brainwash them into being suicide bombers.

Quran (17:16) — “And when We wish to destroy a town, We send Our commandment to the people of it who lead easy lives, but they transgress therein; thus the word proves true against it, so We destroy it with utter destruction.”

Such teachings resulted in the following:…

Man Who Infiltrated Muslim Group: Islam is the Problem

Gaubatz, vice president of Understanding the Threat, marvels that so many American leaders remain reluctant to admit jihadists are fighting for Allah, with the ultimate goal of imposing the legal system sanctioned in the Quran.

“It’s 15 years after 9/11 and we still have not identified the enemy — who they are, why they’re fighting, even though the enemy tells us that they’re Muslims waging jihad, and the blueprint for their doctrine, the reason that they’re fighting is the Shariah, to establish the Shariah all over the planet,” Gaubatz said.

Help defend Chris Gaubatz and the First Amendment right to expose the Muslim Brotherhood’s infiltration of America through your contribution to his legal defense

“So Islam is the root of the problem. At some point, we have to acknowledge that or we’re going to continue to lose this war.”

Gaubatz has witnessed the inner workings of one of America’s largest Muslim organizations firsthand, having posed as a convert to Islam to gain a CAIR internship. He remained undercover for six months, gaining the trust of CAIR’ s inner sanctum and collecting more than 12,000 pages of documents and hundreds of hours of video. He exposed CAIR’s role as a Muslim Brotherhood front group in supporting the international jihad movement against the United States.

The full story of his amazing undercover operation was told in the book “ Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld That’s Conspiring to Islamize America.”

Gaubatz told Hannity CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood share the same goal as many of the Islamic terror groups.

“The Muslim Brotherhood, which is working to influence our Senate Intelligence, Judiciary and Homeland Security committees, has the exact same ideology as the Islamic State and al-Qaida, which is to establish an Islamic state under Shariah,” he said. “That is why they are fighting the jihad, whether it’s in Manchester, whether it’s in Syria, or whether it’s CAIR influencing our homeland security right here in the United States.”

Gaubatz said while he was working inside CAIR, he noticed the Muslim Brotherhood enjoyed a cozy relationship with the media.

Orange County Deputies Did Not Harass Muslim Colleague, Jury Decides

A group of Orange County deputies did not harass a fellow deputy because he is Muslim, a federal jury decided Monday.

Waleed Albakri had sued the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, where he worked from 2008 to 2014, alleging that co-workers called him a “terrorist,” among other derogatory terms, and started a criminal investigation against him because of his religion.

“The sheriff is pleased with the outcome,” the county’s attorney, Mark Levitt, said Monday evening. “The jury quickly recognized that Mr. Albakri’s claim was totally without merit.”

He was fired from the Sheriff’s Office in 2014 after being arrested on insurance-fraud charges, which prosecutors later dropped.

Outrageous Massachusetts Drug Bill Would Send You to Prison and Steal Your Car — No Drugs Needed

With the support of state law enforcement, a Massachusetts Democratic state representative has filed a drug war bill that would send violators to prison for a mandatory minimum two years (five years for a second offense) and allow police to seize their vehicles — all without the presence of any actual drugs.

Sponsored by Rep. Stephan Hay (D-Fitchfield), the measure, House Bill 1266, makes it a crime to have a hidden compartment in one’s vehicle or to try to add one — and it presumes that any hidden compartment in a vehicle is for “for the purpose of transporting or distributing controlled substances” and related contraband, such as cash or weapons. As the bill specifies in its asset forfeiture section:

Republican Operative “Commits Suicide” After Leaving Strange Note

Another suicide in the realm of Clinton politics is finally making its way into the light. This time, it’s a Republican operative who was said to be looking for the 30,000 missing emails from Hillary Clinton.

A longtime Republican operative from Chicago’s North Shore (who was at the center of a confusing Wall Street Journal story involving shadowy Russian hackers and Hillary Clinton’s 30,000 missing emails) committed suicide, according to the Chicago Tribune. Peter W. Smith, who was 81 years old, a former private equity executive and longtime political operative, killed himself in a Minnesota hotel room days after telling his story to a reporter from WSJ, according to the Chicago Tribune.

But there are too many strange circumstances surrounding Smith’s death, and it’s the second one in a matter of months that the mainstream media remains silent about. Smith “killed himself” back in May, but doubts are continuing to surface after Smith was said to have killed himself using a bag with attached helium and left a strange note.

Trump ‘Shocking, Vulgar and Right’ — Cat’s Out of Bag

WASHINGTON — In a prescient article written during President Trump’s campaign, then-Daily Caller editor Tucker Carlson declared that candidate Trump was “shocking, vulgar and right.”

Carlson placed the blame for the rise of the outsider squarely at the feet of the established conservative movement, often called ‘ Conservatism Inc.”

That group, he suggested, created the conditions that led to Trump’s unexpected popularity.

Trump “exists because you failed,” Carlson declared to Conservatism Inc., blasting the huge network of nonprofits and organizations surrounding Washington for a complete lack of tangible success in recent decades.

“Consider the conservative nonprofit establishment, which seems to employ most right-of-center adults in Washington,” Carlson wrote. “Over the past 40 years, how much donated money have all those think tanks and foundations consumed? Billions, certainly.”

“Has America become more conservative over that same period? Come on. Most of that cash went to self-perpetuation: Salaries, bonuses, retirement funds, medical, dental, lunches, car services, leases on high-end office space, retreats in Mexico, more fundraising,” Carlson continued…

Carlson further faulted the intellectuals and journalists who presumed to define conservatism for essentially shaming their own grassroots supporters for backing Trump.

“Let that sink in,” Carlson wrote. “Conservative voters are being scolded for supporting a candidate they consider conservative because it would be bad for conservatism? And by the way, the people doing the scolding? They’re the ones who’ve been advocating for open borders, and nation-building in countries whose populations hate us, and trade deals that eliminated jobs while enriching their donors, all while implicitly mocking the base for its worries about abortion and gay marriage and the pace of demographic change. Now they’re telling their voters to shut up and obey, and if they don’t, they’re liberal.”

Trump Slams Hillary Clinton and ‘Fake News’ Media, Denounces Double Standard in Treatment of Don Jr.

President Trump on Sunday defended his son and attacked fake news media on Twitter, claiming their reports are “distorting democracy” in the nation.

“With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country!” he later tweeted.

Donald Trump Jr. was criticized after news broke that he met with a Russian lawyer to obtain damaging information about Clinton in June 2016. Trump came to his son’s defense while the president was in Paris, saying, “most people would have taken that meeting.”

Noting that the collapse of peace talks had provoked both “disappointment” and “concern” about Turkey’s intentions, Anastasiades said the priority now was to “remain calm and avoid stoking tensions.”

“This obsessive dependence on Turkey is the biggest concern to the Greek Cypriots,” he said, noting that Ankara had not been ready for a solution.

French Archbishop on ‘The Great Replacement’: ‘Muslims Calmly Tell You France Will be Theirs One Day’

The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Strasbourg Luc Ravel has called attention to the demographic shift in France saying Muslims are having far more children than native French and slammed the widespread “promotion” of abortion.

The Archbishop of Strasbourg went against the grain of Church leaders in France who have largely remained politically correct on the issue of demographic changes occurring in the country. He said the rising birth rate of Muslims in France was leading to what prolific French writer Renaud Camus has termed “the Great Replacement”, French conservative magazine Valeurs Actuelles reports.

“Muslim believers know very well that their birthrate is such that today, they call it … the Great Replacement, they tell you in a very calm, very positive way that, ‘one day all this, it will be ours’,” he said.

Furious German Town Meeting Begs Rape Relief From Uncaring Mayor

A video of a German town meeting in which the new German reality dawns on desperate citizens has been revealed by conservative commentator Amy Mek via social media. In it, one may discern the watershed moment when the bureaucratic leadership breaks news to the incensed constituency that the familiar concepts of German sovereignty, borders, and culture no longer form the stabilizing center of government priority that had kept them safe in the past. From the video it is apparent that until this town meeting, the citizens in it still believed, perhaps logically, that their government exists to protect them, their loved ones, and their interests.

Italy: Lotti Questioned in Consip Case

For about an hour

(ANSA) — Rome, July 14 — Sports Minister Luca Lotti was questioned for about an hour in the CONSIP civil-service procurement agency graft case Friday.

In the case, the close aide to former premier Matteo Renzi is is suspected of tipping of CONSIP chief Luigi Marroni about the probe.

Marroni has said it was Lotti who tipped him off, allowing him to clear his office of bugs, but Lotti denies this.

Lotti’s lawyers said after the hearing that the sports minister had “reiterated he had absolutely nothing to do with the matter”.

Lotti said before questioning he was “sure the truth will come out”. “The serenity I have within because I know the truth…won’t stop me continuing in my work and trying to give a hand to sport in Italy and sports associations,” he said. “I repeat, I think that in the end the truth will come out”. Lotti survived no-confidence motions tabled because of the probe in March.

The probe also involves the father of ruling centre-left Democratic Party (PD) leader Renzi, Tiziano.

Tiziano Renzi is suspected of influence peddling in the probe.

Why Does Half of Turkey “Hate” Erdogan? By Jerry Gordon

Notice those expensive ads and paid supplements in major US newspapers placed by the government of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan? They extoll his foiling of the faux coup in Turkey one year ago this weekend. They praised “ peace and democracy”, and threw open the doors to foreign direct investors to the perils of corruption. See our NER August 2016 article: “Erdogan’s Faux Coup” and our May 2, 2017 Iconoclast post, “Erdogan’s Faux Coup may have been Turkey’s Reichstag Fire”.

This is tantamount to Orwellian propaganda to promote a myth of his own making while he unveiled a monument in Ankara in memory of 270 killed in the episode. There was an alleged march of “millions” to offset the over 1.5 million who oppose his regime at the finale of the Justice March in Istanbul last Sunday. He was in the limelight of international commendation of Turkish people power “courage” in a statement from NATO Secretary General Stoltenberg. US Secretary of State Tillerson, commented, “things were getting a little bit better” in bi-lateral relations.

Can China and America Avoid War?

Destined for War says China’s renaissance is a fearsome threat to the West?

by Dominic Cummings

China erects skyscrapers in weeks while Parliament delays Heathrow expansion for over a decade. The EU discusses dumb rules made 60 years ago while China produces a Greece-sized economy every 16 weeks. China’s economy doubles roughly every seven years; it is already the size of America’s and will likely dwarf it in 20 years.

More serious than Europe, it invests this growth in education and technology from genetic engineering to artificial intelligence. Allison analyses the formidable President Xi, who has known real suffering and is very different to western leaders obsessed with the frivolous spin cycles of domestic politics. Xi’s goal is to ensure that China’s renaissance returns it to its position as the richest, strongest and most advanced culture on earth.

Mosher: Why the Chinese Communist Party Murdered Liu Xiaobo

[…]

To be sure, Liu tirelessly promoted constitutional government, respect for human rights, and other democratic reforms for decades, but his critique goes much deeper than this. In an essay entitled, “Bellicose and Thuggish: The Roots of Chinese ‘Patriotism’ at the Dawn of the Twenty-First Century,” he argued that the Chinese Party-State has consciously (and self-servingly) channeled the collective narcissism of the Chinese people into a kind of hyper-nationalist insanity. This xenophobic, jingoistic patriotism, he believed, had led to a general loss of reason among the population, obliterated universal values of human rights, and rendered the Chinese blind to the faults of their leaders.

He also believed, with good reason, that the Party’s Orwellian control over society — the ceaseless stoking of Great Han Chauvinism by the state-run media, by Party-State mouthpieces masquerading as intellectuals, and by other members of the political elite — has meant the death of critical thought. The result is that most of the Chinese population is by now so uncritically accepting of the Party’s propaganda that they mistake the illusions spun by a dictatorial regime intent upon its own aggrandizement for actual reality.

It is not surprising that, for pulling back the curtain and exposing its machinations, the Chinese Party-State imprisoned him. Later, by denying him medical care when he became ill, that same regime effectively sentenced him to death. This is known in China as “murder without spilling blood.” And it is a murder that Beijing has now, to the horror of the world, carried out.

May he rest in peace.

Venezuelan Opposition Hopes for Big Turnout in Protest Vote

Chanting “freedom!” and waving their country’s tri-color flag, thousands of Venezuelans lined up across the country on Sunday to vote in a symbolic rejection of President Nicolas Maduro’s plan to rewrite the constitution, a proposal that’s escalating tensions in a nation stricken by widespread shortages and more than 100 days of anti-government protests.

Frontex: Overpacked Boats Increase Death Toll at Sea

The EU’s border agency, Frontex, says more people are dying at sea because boats disembarking from Libya are dangerously overloaded.

Speaking to MEPs on Wednesday (12 July), Frontex executive director Fabrice Leggeri said that the crowded conditions are among the reasons behind the high number of drownings.

“There are now approximately 170 migrants per boat, per dinghy, while two years ago there used to be approximately 90 migrants on board,” he said.

Given the seizures, smugglers and traffickers appear to have resorted to using more unseaworthy rubber dinghies out of fear of losing better-equipped wooden boats. Dinghies now account for 70 percent of all boats leaving the Libyan coast.

Leggeri noted cases where smugglers remove outboard motors and then set the boats adrift. Others are simply towed out before being left behind.

“They have no food, they have no drinking water, they have no fuel,” he said. Over 181,000 crossed the same route last year — up from 153,000 in 2015.

(ANSA) — Varese, July 14 — The mayor of the town of Besnate, Giovanni Corbo, on Friday stopped a hunger strike begun on Monday evening against “non-compliance with an agreement” governing the sending of migrants to be hosted in the town.

The town of 5,500 inhabitants had been sent 32 asylum seekers instead of an agreed-upon 15. “We have received an official notice from the prefecture stating that by Monday, July 8, the asylum seekers hosted in Besnate will be moved to other facilities,” the mayor wrote on Facebook, “and that within the following few weeks the other asylum seekers will be moved to other facilities until there are only 15 hosted in Besnate. I am thus halting my fourth day of a hunger strike.” Corbo added that “the time has come for asylum seeker reception to be based on something other than emergency measures. There must instead be a rational distribution across the country, flanked by careful management of migration flows.”

Italy Plots ‘Nuclear Option’ To Migrant Crisis by Giving EU Visas to 200,000 Incomers and Sending Them North as the Country Struggles With ‘Human Warehouse’

Italian government officials have threatened to issue temporary EU visas to thousands of migrants in an effort to deal with Italy’s escalating migrant and refugee crisis that would allow new arrivals to travel north.

In what has been described as a ‘nuclear option,’ Italian government officials have threatened to allow 200,000 migrants who enter the country to travel across Europe by using a Brussels directive, The Times reports.

Italy has previously called on its EU neighbours to help with the escalating humanitarian crisis but it has been disappointed by their lack of action.

I’ve Worked With Refugees for Decades. Europe’s Afghan Crime Wave is Mind-Boggling.

In 2014, when waves of refugees began flooding into western Europe, citizens and officials alike responded with generosity and openness. Exhausted refugees spilled out of trains and buses to be met by crowds bearing gifts of clothing and food, and holding up placards that read “Welcome Refugees.”

This was a honeymoon that could not last. Some of the upcoming difficulties had been anticipated: that the newcomers did not speak the local languages, might be traumatized, would probably take a long time to find their footing, and had brought their ethnic, religious and sectarian conflicts with them, causing them to get into battles with each other. All of these things happened but-as Angela Merkel promised-were manageable. “Wir schaffen das.”

But there was one development that had not been expected, and was not tolerable: the large and growing incidence of sexual assaults committed by refugees against local women. These were not of the cultural-misunderstanding-date-rape sort, but were vicious, no-preamble attacks on random girls and women, often committed by gangs or packs of young men. At first, the incidents were downplayed or hushed up-no one wanted to provide the right wing with fodder for nationalist agitation, and the hope was that these were isolated instances caused by a small problem group of outliers. As the incidents increased, and because many of them took place in public or because the public became involved either in stopping the attack or in aiding the victim afterwards, and because the courts began issuing sentences as the cases came to trial, the matter could no longer be swept under the carpet of political correctness. And with the official acknowledgment and public reporting, a weird and puzzling footnote emerged. Most of the assaults were being committed by refugees of one particular nationality: by Afghans…

A few weeks ago, the Austrian city of Tulln declared a full stop to any further refugee admissions. As the mayor made clear, that decision was aimed at Afghans, but for legal and administrative reasons it could only be promulgated in a global way. That had not been the city’s intention-to the contrary, it had just completed the construction of an expensive, brand-new facility for incoming asylum seekers, which would now, the mayor declared, be given over to another purpose. His exact words: “We’ve had it.” The tipping point, after a series of disturbing incidents all emanating from Afghans, was the brutal gang rape of a fifteen-year-old girl, snatched from the street on her way home, dragged away and serially abused by Afghan refugees.

And that was just one in a string of outrage-inducing occurrences, all of them going to the account of Afghans…

This brings us to a third, more compelling and quite disturbing theory-the one that my Afghan friend, the court translator, puts forward. On the basis of his hundreds of interactions with these young men in his professional capacity over the past several years, he believes to have discovered that they are motivated by a deep and abiding contempt for Western civilization. To them, Europeans are the enemy, and their women are legitimate spoils, as are all the other things one can take from them: housing, money, passports. Their laws don’t matter, their culture is uninteresting and, ultimately, their civilization is going to fall anyway to the horde of which one is the spearhead. No need to assimilate, or work hard, or try to build a decent life here for yourself-these Europeans are too soft to seriously punish you for a transgression, and their days are numbered.

And it’s not just the sex crimes, my friend notes. Those may agitate public sentiment the most, but the deliberate, insidious abuse of the welfare system is just as consequential. Afghan refugees, he says, have a particular proclivity to play the system: to lie about their age, to lie about their circumstances, to pretend to be younger, to be handicapped, to belong to an ethnic minority when even the tired eye of an Austrian judge can distinguish the delicate features of a Hazara from those of a Pashtun.

Mafia Using Voodoo to Trick Migrant Women Into Italian Sex Trade

MIGRANT women are being tricked into the Italian sex trade through voodoo rituals which they can only get out of by paying tens of thousands of pounds.

Nigerian mafia bosses operating in Sicily, where thousands of migrants are arriving from Africa each month, have cut a deal with the weakened local Italian mob to split up territory and proceeds, police have said.

The Black Axe group is operating in both the southern Italian island and in Nigeria where mob members goad desperate women from Benin City in northern Nigeria into being trafficked to Italy.

A UK Border Force source told Express.co.uk the women are being branded on their arms so the mafia on the Italian side know who to snatch when they arrive in rescue boats.

Paris Struggles to Hide Migrants Ahead of Trump Visit

Quiet Italy Hamlets Struggle With Migrant ‘Human Warehouses’

They used to be sleepy hamlets on Italy’s sun-baked Padan Plain. But two years with hundreds of asylum seekers packed into overcrowded centres dubbed “human warehouse” are taking their toll —— on both migrants and villagers.

Real ‘Refugees’? White South Africans Facing Genocide

American missionary says Trump should open U.S. for victims of black violence

WASHINGTON — When President Nelson Mandela took power in South Africa after apartheid, he proclaimed “each of us is as intimately attached to the soil of this beautiful country as are the famous jacaranda trees of Pretoria and the mimosa trees of the bushveld — a rainbow nation at peace with itself and the world.”

Over a decade later, the “rainbow nation” of South Africa is unraveling at an alarming rate, as race relations deteriorate and white farmers face genocidal levels of violence.

Since the 1990s, between 2,000 and 4,000 farmers have been murdered.

White South African farmers are several times more likely to be killed than South African police officers or even American soldiers serving in Iraq.

“Often, they only count the farmer and not his wife and children that were also attacked or murdered,” South African missionary Charl Van Wyk told WND in an interview.

The omission is intentional “manipulation” of the data by the South African government, and such subterfuge makes it impossible to know the true extent of the attacks on white South African farmers, he said.

The sheer brutality of the murders cannot be overstated. Farmers are often tortured before being killed. One white South African woman was tied up, stabbed and burned with a blowtorch.

Other reports of the torture of white farmers include rape and attacks with power drills, boiling water and hot irons.

According to the Australian news website news.com.au, human rights groups believe the brutality of the attacks is meant to send a message to white farmers: “Get out of our country.”

[Comment: S.Africa is the globalist test bed for elimination of whites. Europe is already going through the globalist “replacement plan”. Own citizens are encouraged to have abortions, while incoming refugees have large families.]

UK: Refugees to Get Seven-Bed Home While 1,132 Wait on Council List

SYRIAN refugees will be given a seven-bedroom home in one of the most desirable parts of Britain, it was revealed last night.

The spacious property — worth an estimated £400,000 — is in Home Secretary Amber Rudd’s constituency of historic Rye, East Sussex.

The furnished end-of-terrace home has been empty for two years but is now reserved for “imminent arrivals” by Rother Council, which has 1,132 people waiting for social housing.

It is part of the Government’s plans to speed up the resettlement of people fleeing the war-torn country.

But the controversial move has divided the coastal town.

One neighbour, who did not want to be named, said: “I think it’s absolutely disgraceful when people are homeless. Maybe a family with three or four children could have that house or veterans. I don’t think this should be allowed.”

What Next — Mr. President?, Part 2

Most people, or at least 99% of them, are not aware that communism is as much a part of the agenda for globalist control, i.e., “the new world order,” as any of those other isims. Actually, communism is an out-growth of all of them combined.

In fact, the communists are the hand-maidens of the combined elements of the left; they can organize and implement events in the populace which result in certain changes throughout society, and will remain hidden and unseen as far as who and what is behind it for now. That said, it does not preclude the probability that the planning of the event which the communists are given authority to initiate and implement has not been planned by higher-ups in the hierarchy of the globalist agenda. All things carried out at the lower echelon must coincide with what is being done at the higher ones, otherwise it throws everything out of sync.

Sanctuary Cities and Refugees

How does all that play into and connect with the issue of sanctuary cities and the seeding into our country of thousands of so-called Islamic refugees by the Obama Administration and secretly placing them throughout our country?

It appears as though there are two objectives. Had Hillary been elected, the primary one would have been to use these people in gorilla type activities after disposing of the Second Amendment and disarming American citizens. After these gorilla bands had simultaneously wreaked havoc in locations within the vicinity of sanctuary cities, they could individually fall back into them for concealment and protection.

With regard to disposing of the Second Amendment, the globalists have been at work for some time preparing to bring about a Constitutional Convention for the purpose of changing our Constitution to be more favorable to the goals of world government. There are several new constitutions waiting in the wings, one was written decades ago by the Ford Foundation, and turns our God given rights into a few privileges granted by the all-powerful government. Socialists, Soros and minions, along with many faux conservatives are working to destroy our wonderful Constitution.

There is no doubt that the Second Amendment will be one of the main targets of the committee in charge of procedures governing the order of business. If they are successful in pulling off this traitorous scheme, we can expect them to confiscate our firearms. This action will leave the people at the mercy of whatever gangs and gorilla bands are roaming the towns and cities and will result in demands for law and order I have alluded to previously.

Allstate on List of Top 10 Pro-’Gay’ Firms

Insurance giant target of lawsuit over column critical of homosexuality

Allstate, the insurance company being sued by a former employee who was fired after writing a column critical of homosexuality, is one of the top 10 firms supporting the “gay” lifestyle.

The list, compiled by Diversity Inc., includes, in ranked order: Eastman Kodak, Ford Motor Company, Citigroup, D&T USA, PepsiCo, Merck & Company, Kaiser Permanente, Visteon Corporation, Allstate Insurance and The Coca-Cola Company.

As WorldNetDaily reported, a former manager at Allstate’s headquarters recently sued the company, claiming the insurance giant, which financially supports homosexual advocacy groups, fired him solely because he wrote a column posted on several websites that was critical of same-sex marriage and espoused his Christian beliefs.

The insurance company’s foundation has donated money to homosexual-advocacy organizations, including the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and the LAMBDA Legal Defense and Education Fund. A notice about the Allstate foundation says funds are given to “nonprofit organizations that are related to tolerance, diversity and inclusion.”

The American Family Association distributed the “Top 10” list to its supporters, saying it was not surprised by the companies cited.

“These are companies which endorse and financially support the homosexual lifestyle, including homosexual marriage,” said Donald E. Wildmon, chairman of AFA, in a statement.

Meet the LGBTQ Movement’s Biggest Sugar Daddy

Just recently Rolling Stone ran a story that appears to check out. Unintentionally, Rolling Stone writer Andy Kroll may have blown the whistle on one of the reasons the LGBTQ movement has become so well-organized and powerful.

As with many things, just follow the money … much of which, in this case, can be traced to one person.

His name is Tim Gill, 63, a software developer, one of many who rode the wave of the 1990s tech explosion to a spot near the top. Born in 1953 in Indiana, he moved to the Denver, Colorado area with his parents when he was a child, and has resided there ever since. He attended the University of Colorado at Boulder where he majored in computer science. Initially he cut his teeth with Hewlett-Packard. Then, in 1981, he used a $2,000 loan from his parents to start his own company, Quark, Inc., based in Denver.

Quark began producing quality desktop publishing software. The company’s flagship product was QuarkXPress, the first version of which was introduced in 1987. QuarkXPress quickly earned an industry-wide reputation as the best software package able to handle complex, graphics-intensive page layouts, and by the mid-1990s subsequent versions had been adopted by major newspapers and other print publications across the country. Tim Gill became a multimillionaire, whose name appeared on Forbes Magazine’s well-known 400 list.

A gay man, Gill had already begun involving himself in gay rights issues. The convergence of political and popular cultures of the 1990s were already tilting sharply leftward. In 1994, Gill created the tax-exempt Gill Foundation and, ten years later, the Gill Action Fund, the former in response to a 1992 ordinance, Colorado Amendment 2, which blocked the application of antidiscrimination laws to gays and lesbians. Thanks to the massive success of QuarkXPress, Gill was able to sink more and more money into gay rights causes, which included founding the Gay & Lesbian Fund of Colorado in 1996.

In 2000, Gill sold his 50% holdings in Quark for around $500 million, exiting the company to devote nearly all his time (and money) to the gay-lesbian agenda via his foundation.

Top UK University to Swap Portraits of Bearded White Scholars With Wall of Diversity

King’s College London is to swap portraits of some of its founding fathers with a “wall of diversity” amid pressure from students, a dean says.

The plans to move portraits of former faculty staff from the main entrance wall and replace them with more BME scholars are being implemented by the world famous Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience, following concern among academics that the current classroom environment is too “intimidating” for ethnic minorities.

The proposals were unveiled by Professor Patrick Leman, the Institute’s dean of education, who said that the faculty should not just be filled with “busts of 1920s bearded men” but rather more modern, diverse scholars so that the Institute feels less “alienating”.

Introducing the Scythians

The Scythians (pronounced ‘SIH-thee-uns’) were a group of ancient tribes of nomadic warriors who originally lived in what is now southern Siberia. Their culture flourished from around 900 BC to around 200 BC, by which time they had extended their influence all over Central Asia — from China to the northern Black Sea.

From September 2017 you can discover these fearsome warriors and their culture in a special exhibition at the British Museum. But before that, swot up on some key facts and impress your friends down the pub with your new-found Scythian knowledge.

10 thoughts on “Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/16/2017

  1. For the NASA thing. I was accepted to speak at Mars Society convention in 2015 about how to cut the price tag by a factor of 10 with currently available technology. Ever since have greatly improved. I am, among other things, aerospace engineer. In 2015 I couldn’t go, the week after I had 5 qualifying exams for my second PhD. The choice was very hard, I had to choose. Now they didn’t accept my talk and I understand why.

A minor thing called Icarus Interstellar would be fine with me, and they have always been thrilled with my science and engineering. Mike Mongo, the big guy of Icarus, called me genius, and that’s nice. Now they rejected my talk. The true reason is that I am too much… pro-Trump. OK, they don’t like my other ideas either. They offered to pay half of my expenses so that I could go and informally talk to people. That was too little for me and I declined.

Had Eisenhower listened to Wernher von Braun, we’d be in Mars now. I am being overlooked for the same ideological bigotry.

    • Ideology infecting science was the downfall of the Communist regimes (among others) too.

  2. Italy’s Nuclear Option

A Protestant might say: The Pope is playing the Harlot with the Global Warming crowd, and with the Muslim crowd – but being Harlot that he is, he completely wrecks his own backyard: Italy.

So – imagine. The Pope losing his own territory: Italy and Rome, to an Italian revolution against the refugees?

    Might this be relevant?

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.”

  3. The European population was decimated by the black plague before..then spread by rats – will history repeat itself ???

  4. Poland be targeted by the EU. The Poles manage their forests well. It was the Germans who decimated the forest during WWI, eliminating the forest’s original bison, subsequently replaced by a close bison cousin. Then, the communists from the Soviet came in and removed the Polish people, replacing them with Stalinists. Now, the Leftists of the EU are pressuring Poland because this Catholic country fights their Culture of Death. Give Poland back to the Polish and the forest will be fine.

    • The chart of Italian NGOs Soros’ foundation supports is revealing…and shocking. One knows at least intellectually how bizzy bizzy Soros is, but this is just ONE country…poor Italy.

  5. Today is July 17th on the current civil or commercial calendar. It is, however, July 4th on the traditional Orthodox Church Calendar (adopted in 325 A.D.). Today the Holy Royal Martyr Nicholas of Russia and his family and those with them are commemorated on the 99th anniversary of their martyrdom.

  6. Visa Offers $500K for Eateries to Stop Accepting Cash

Any sane person would take this as a command to scissor up their Visa card.

All attempts to push our world towards a cashless society are merely the first steps on the Globalist road to one-world-government.
