Gates of Vienna News Feed 12/2/2016

A Dutch anti-discrimination hotline has ruled that online death threats against gays are not discriminatory, and do not warrant legal action, provided that they are made by Muslims. The rationale is this: death threats against homosexuals are in accord with Islamic doctrine, and are therefore protected under freedom of religion, and can’t be discriminatory.

In other news, a fire at the Foggia refugee camp in Italy destroyed makeshift migrant accommodations and displaced hundreds of residents.

Americans Not in the Labor Force Soar to Record 95.1 Million: Jump by 446,000 in One Month

So much for that much anticipated rebound in the participation rate.

After it had managed to post a modest increase in the early part of the year, hitting the highest level in one year in March at 63%, the disenchantment with working has returned, and the labor force participation rate had flatlined for the next few month, ultimately dropping in November to 62.7%, just shy of its 35 year low of 62.4% hit last October. This can be seen in the surge of Americans who are no longer in the labor force, who spiked by 446,000 in November, hitting an all time high of 95.1 million.

Eurozone Crisis: Italian Bank Shares Dive as Investors Dump Shares Ahead of Referendum

THE Italian referendum has seen fearful investors dump shares in Italian banks during Friday trading, which could end up with Rome in chaos and Italy in financial crisis.

The country’s oldest lender Monte Dei Pasche saw stocks plummet by more than one per cent, while the country’s biggest bank UniCredit was also trading in the red.

At the same time, Italy’s top stock market the FTSE MIB was down by almost one per cent — the index has already lost around 20 per cent of its value this year.

Indian ‘Gold Ban’ A Portent of Major Events?

Three years ago; India’s previous government began radically curbing gold imports, culminating in a near-total ban in gold imports to the world’s greatest gold-lovers, and second-largest population. As was explained at the time, the ban on gold was for no reason in terms of economic fundamentals.

What was actually happening at that time is that the One Bank was blackmailing that government to do something about the extremely strong gold demand, and larger-than-normal gold imports which were flowing into India. So the Big Banks did what these convicted currency-manipulators do every time they want to punish any particular nation, they manipulated India’s currency — lower. These convicted currency-manipulators continued pushing the rupee lower and lower until the gold ban was initiated by India’s government. At that point, the downward plunge in the rupee instantly and magically disappeared.

The ban didn’t work. It didn’t work (from the perspective of the One Bank) for several reasons. The ban on official gold imports simply inspired Indians to reopen centuries-old gold smuggling routes. Those smuggling routes had only been previously closed, voluntarily, after India’s government liberalized its gold market when it abolished the Gold Control Act in 1990.

The 2013 gold ban also failed because the moderate restriction of inflows of gold into India motived the Indian people to buy much larger quantities of silver, shattering previous import records for that metal. Finally, in banning the official importing of gold — and provoking gold smuggling — this meant that a blackmarket for gold arose in India, the automatic partner of any large-scale smuggling.

What accompanies blackmarkets? A blackmarket price for gold: a real-world price for gold where there would be no direct means for the banking crime syndicate to manipulate that price. It was for all these reasons that the One Bank relented on its previous blackmailing of India’s government, and allowed that nation to resume normal importing of gold.

Flash ahead to 2016; and some things are now different. There is a new regime in India, an extremely corrupt government which does not require blackmailing by the One Bank because the bankers already own this regime. This was previously demonstrated when this puppet government announced its “gold deposit scheme” (scam). It was such a laughably transparent attempt to steal the gold from the Indian people that it failed miserably.

Protests Slam India’s Economy as “The Concept of Money Dies”

The Indian Prime Minister announced on 8th November 2016 that Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 banknotes would no longer be legal tender. Linked are Part-I, Part-II and Part-III updates on the rapidly encroaching police state.

The economic and social mess that Modi has created is unprecedented. It will go down in history as an epitome of naivety and arrogance due to Modi’s self-centered desire to increase tax-collection at any cost.

Fear has gripped the bullion market, for one is deemed to be guilty until proven otherwise. People with perfectly legal cash are afraid of cameras recording their purchases and having to pay outrageous bribes. After an adjustment period people will buy more — not less — gold. For now, the gold market has gone mostly underground with the gold price hovering around US $1,700 per ounce. Did Modi want to boost the informal economy?…

Despite my pessimism about India, I had not considered that there could have been a single key issue that would fundamentally change society, stall the economy, and throw society into utter confusion, desperation and depression — but Modi found a way.

Banning 88% of the monetary value of the currency in circulation, which catered to 97% of consumer transactions, meant that the economy went into a traumatic shock, throwing financial commitments and contracts out of gear. Now a vicious cycle is underway.

Fiat currency is fully under the government’s control. This paper-based currency system is extremely corrupt, as it has no inherent value of its own. All its perceived value is derived from regulatory edicts and citizens have to look to the government for directions. Control over the printing press gives the government autocratic control over inflation, deflation, and credit.

I realize now that monopolistic control over the currency is an even worse problem than I thought. As a result of Modi’s decrees, the concept of money has died for a large section of society.

[Comment: Highly recommended reading to understand the turmoil going on in India. It’s much worse than even I thought. Modi and his ilk are traitors to India.]

Overcoming Treason in America

Section 3 of Article III of the Constitution of the United States of America plainly states, Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on Confession in open Court. The Congress shall have power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the person attained.

Unfortunately, Congress has not yet seen fit to at least reprimand the Obama administration for operating perhaps the most traitorous term in office throughout American history. I thank God that Donald Trump is the one elected for president. One can anticipate a dramatic change for the better in regards to doing more to protect our national sovereignty via border protection. Unfortunately, as president, Donald Trump will have to deal with the headache of shoring up our border safety and protection for American sovereign citizens. Millions of illegal immigrants and thousands of American hating Muslim refugees are in our streets or are living the good life at taxpayer expense. In fact they have plenty of time on their hands to plot murder and mayhem like those who did just that on the campus of The Ohio State University.

Numerous crimes are committed by illegal immigrants or Muslim refugees everyday throughout America. In my opinion, the Obama administration remains more concerned about bringing in as many liberty despising Islamists into America than protecting “We the People” from the danger they pose. And certain people have the nerve to get torqued up at me for correctly calling Obama a well paid traitor. The dragon media has chosen not to focus light on the negative effects of open borders and Obama’s stand down orders to border patrol agents to back off or look the other way while illegals pour in. If that is not treason, then there is no such thing as treason.

Why the Progressives Want a Recount They Know They Will Lose

This is Hillary and the Progressives strategy to place the mantel of corrupt elite insiders on the Republicans now that they see the nation is incensed against the circle of Progressive power brokers who led us from the pinnacle of prosperity to the brink of bankruptcy. This is akin to how the Democrats have successfully placed the mantel of racist on the party of Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation. What a masterful stroke of political maneuvering that convinced the descendants of slaves that their natural allies are the descendants of Jim Crow.

If this goes to the US House and Senate, and the result is the same as the result from the Electoral College without the recounts, why do it? The answer is to make Trump seem completely illegitimate. They and their obedient shills in the media will tell us every day and at every opportunity that Trump did not win the popular vote saying he lost by over 2.1 million ignoring the fact that millions of illegals voted. He did not win the Electoral College since in this scenario he would not have attained 270. They will say just as they did about Bush the Younger that he was not elected he was selected by members of his own party in Congress.

Dutch Watchdog Says it’s OK to Send Gay People Death Threats — But Only if You’re Muslim

A Dutch anti-discrimination hotline has said it is OK for Muslims to threaten gay people.

In a shocking move, the taxpayer-funded hotline said it would not pursue a criminal complaint over horrific messages from radical Islamists because the Koran says gay people can be killed.

The disgraceful stance came to light when a member of the public complained about death threats posted to an online forum which called for homosexuals to be “burned, decapitated and slaughtered”.

Dutch MPs today reacted with horror to the revelations, demanding an immediate inquiry into the remarks and calling for the hotline to be stripped of public funding.

According to Dutch media advisors from the anti-discrimination bureau MiND said that, while homophobic abuse was usually a crime, it was justifiable if you were Muslim due to laws on freedom of religious expression.

They argued that the Koran says it is acceptable to kill people for being homosexual, and so death threats towards gay people from Muslims could not be discriminatory.

Caroline Glick: Israel’s Constitutional Identity Crisis

Israel’s coalition crisis over the settlement’s regulation bill is not a normal power struggle between overweening politicians. It is not popularity contest between Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon and his Kulanu Party and Education Minister Naftali Bennett and his Bayit Yehudi Party.

It is also not about contenders to the helm challenging Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s political primacy.

The settlement regulations bill proposes to extend the authority of the Military Government in Judea and Samaria to seize privately owned lands. That authority is now limited to seizure for military purposes. The bill would allow the Military Government to seize lands for the purpose of private construction as well.

The political fight over the bill is not merely a fight over the community of Amona, which will be destroyed by order of the High Court if the law isn’t passed before December 25.

The fight over the law is a fight about the character of Israel…

Arab League Chief Tells West to ‘Stay Out of Our Region’

End of Palestine occupation first step to deal with terrorism

ROME — Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit on Thursday urged Western nations to “please stay out of our region”. He was speaking at the Med Dialogues 2016 conference in Rome.

“There has been an insistence on intervening” in the Mediterranean and the Middle East, but “these interventions have only produced disasters”, he said, referring to Western nations in general but especially the UK and the US. Before achieving a new regional order, Aboul-Gheit said, “before arriving at a new Helsinki, a few fundamental issues need to be resolved: ensuring the inviolability of borders; understanding how to keep the idea of nation states in Libya, Syria and Iraq; and how to prevent intervention by neighboring countries.” He added that what was needed was “some rules, and only afterwards can we begin to speak about a new order and an agreement involving the entire region.”

Aboul-Gheit calls for end to occupation of Palestine. ‘First step to deal with terrorism, young Arabs angry

Prior to dealing with Mediterranean crises, from civil wars to terrorism, “we must first end the occupation of the Palestinian Territories”, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul-Gheit said during his speech Thursday at the Med Dialogues conference.

“Whether or not you believe it, this is fundamental,” he said. “For over 20 years I have been saying to be careful about Arab youths — they are angry and make use of violence due to the rage that they feel. And seeing as their governments are unable to provide answers about the issue of Palestine, they take refuge in religion in an extremist manner,” the former Egyptian foreign minister said.

Gambia Elections: President-Elect Adama Barrow’s Life Story

Adama Barrow, a successful property developer who has never held public office, has defied the odds to score a shock victory in The Gambia’s elections.

Before the 51-year-old was chosen in September as the candidate to represent seven Gambian opposition parties at the election, he had spent 10 years working in property, having started his own estate agency in 2006.

In the early 2000s, he lived in the UK for several years, where he reportedly worked as a security guard at the Argos catalogue store in north London, while studying for his real estate qualifications.

Stop All Muslim Immigration Into the USA

This week, enraged Ohio State University student Abdul Razak Ali Artan, a Muslim immigrant from Pakistan, ran over pedestrians before jumping out of his car to take a butcher knife to stab 11 fellow students. Three remain in critical condition.

Ironically, talking heads at Fox News, CNN and the other mainstream media, couldn’t figure out if Artan’s actions equated to terrorism or a lone-wolf attack. “We can’t figure out his motive,” said one talking head.

Here’s his motive: Islam advocates violence and terror toward anyone who fails to accept their Quran. Artan followed the Quran’s prime directive, which states, “Convert or kill all non-believers.” Fact: there are no ‘moderate’ Muslims. With growing numbers, every one of them follows the Quran’s deadly edict.

The Quran directs its followers toward endless violence and terror in order to conquer infidels (unbelievers).

Quran 8:12 — I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off their fingertips.

Quran 3:56 — As to those who reject our faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war against nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule. Some very graphic: with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

Artan’s knife and car attack aren’t the first this year that a Somali refugee hacked people with a large knife in Columbus.

In February 2016, The Horn News, Columbus, Ohio, reported that a Somali-born Islamic terrorist stormed a Jewish-owned restaurant in the same city and brutally slashed four people with a machete.

Are you sitting down? Let me feed you a Truth nugget. The Devil is real. Demons are real. There is an invisible world around us that we are not able to see with our natural eyes. The battle being played out in this “heavenly realm” is manifesting itself in this natural world. Most church goers have no clue.

America is a captured nation. I don’t care if you believe it or not. The United States of America is under the control of the dark side. Satan, and his minions, are actively fighting to wrest control of once-Christian America.

The fact that you don’t see it or don’t believe it does not make it any less true. While you are laughing off the existence of Satan he is stealing the heart of this nation.

Christians have been duped. Christians have been blinded…they have been deceived…they are incapable of seeing the blood-drenched hand of Lucifer doing his dirty dealing. The bolder Satan becomes the less likely Christians are to see his handiwork. Our denial of his existence does not make him any less effective. In fact, it strengthens his hand.

Wikileaks has exposed for anyone who cares to see that the Luciferians are at work in the highest offices in the land. Hillary and her minions are deeply involved in Satanic rituals, pedophilia, child sacrifice, and cannibalism. It is all being revealed for anyone who is willing to see…despite the efforts of the MSM.

If anyone should believe in the existence of the Devil and the darkness of his works it should be Christians. But pastors don’t teach about it, the people don’t believe it is real, as the Devil and his minions conquer our nation.

Take a few minutes and look at what the mainstream media is hiding. LOOK HERE (link). Take an hour and do some research on your own. There is witchcraft, Satanic rituals, and child-sacrifice at the highest levels of our government. John Podesta was Hillary’s campaign manager for Pete’s sake!! The below pictures are from the captured emails exposing what is going on under the cover of darkness.

Not All Trump’s Supreme Court Choices Are Pro-Life

President elect Trump stated, “Justice Scalia was a remarkable person and a brilliant Supreme Court Justice. His career was defined by his reverence for the Constitution and his legacy of protecting Americans’ most cherished freedoms. He was a Justice who did not believe in legislating from the bench, and he is a person whom I held in the highest regard and will always greatly respect his intelligence and conviction to uphold the Constitution of our country. My list of potential Supreme Court justices is representative of the kind of constitutional principles I value and, as President, I plan to use this list as a guide to nominate our next United States Supreme Court Justices.”

At the third debate Trump described the 21 candidates he had identified on two separate lists as “pro-life. “They will have a conservative bent. They will be protecting the Second Amendment. They are great scholars in all cases, and they’re people of tremendous respect. They will interpret the Constitution the way the Founders wanted it interpreted, and I believe that’s very important.”

Okay, President Trump, let’s take a closer look at your choices, or should we say, The Federalist Society and Heritage Foundation’s choices…[Link]

– From the moment Justice Antonin Scalia died unexpectedly in February, Heritage Foundation has been at the forefront of the debate over the Supreme Court vacancy. That now includes influencing the list of potential replacements being considered by Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s presidential nominee. It is why all these nominees must be completely vetted, because very few of them are pro-sanctity of life.

  1. “The rationale is this: death threats against homosexuals are in accord with Islamic doctrine, and are therefore protected under freedom of religion, and can’t be discriminatory.”

Seriously (and sorry for the language) – but WTF???

What is this, if not a perfect example of discrimination in itself?! (from an “anti-discrimination committee”, no less)

And are they trying to confirm that Islamic doctrine does in fact allow for death threats towards gays? In which case, surely it makes things much easier for the likes of Geert. All he has to say is begin every attack on Islamic doctrine by saying “According to the Dutch anti-discrimination committee…”. And maybe that’s the silver lining in all of this…

  2. This is about the disagreement in Israel between the Israeli parliament’s authority to authorize military appropriation of lands, and the Israeli Supreme Court, which ruled against such appropriation.

The actual issues are discussed in
    http://carolineglick.com/israels-constitutional-identity-crisis/

My point is that Israel is a messy constitutional republic, like the US, and is more-or-less successfully dealing with many issues vital to the US: diversity, globalism and leftist ideology. In many ways, such as the construction of a physical wall, Israel serves as a laboratory for different approaches to the survival of a country and a people.

So, the existence and identity of Israel as a successful practitioner of democracy is vital to the well-being and existence of the US. The mechanisms used to harm Israel will be used to harm the US, even if they do not physically threaten the US (at the moment). The existence of an alternate, functioning, constitutional republic lends strength to the philosophical legitimacy of the US and to the determination of its citizens to maintain their country.

The first sensible approach by the US would be to stay out of Israeli internal affairs. Israel, like the US, has to make some messy decisions. Israel, like the US, has some problematic citizens and some external enemies which have to be dealt with by methods not always pretty. Israel has a functioning parliament and press. It needs to make its own decisions and compromises. Some of Israel’s fiercest enemies are the proponents of globalism and international law: UN, EU and the ICC (International Criminal Court). The US has sensibly and legitimately used its influence to block the most flagrant abuses by these international bodies against the existence of Israel. This is not a violation of any principle of non-entanglement in foreign affairs, as it is entirely voluntary on the part of the US and does not require any treaty or further commitment on the part of the US.

I do believe, though, that the US should not be entangled in military alliances with Israel. The US should not be giving the massive amounts of aid to Israel that it does. Israel, as a functioning modern economy, should stand on its own economically. Like any recipient of unearned welfare, Israel is able to put off necessary choices of its own by receiving US assistance; and like any recipient of unearned aid, this is not necessarily beneficial to the aid recipient.

    • US economy depends on selling arms to all and sundry. How are you going to fix that first? It’s like people talking about stopping the inflow of migrants, as though that were the only issue. What about the fact that the elites have opened the gates precisely so they could have unregulated cheap labor? Originally, that is. Now it’s complicated further by other immigration issues, like Islam and the globalist agenda.

      • Aid is not the same as military sales. I’m fine with selling arms to Israel. If Israel ends up buying our own arms with our own money, I’m opposed to the deal as just another boondoggle public works program. Can you keep your economy going by selling goods to yourself? Good luck on that.

Selling arms is a legitimate form of economic activity. But, if you give someone money and specify he has to spend it on your arms, you’re not benefiting yourself. You’re just taking resources from one part of your economy and giving it to another. There’s no net benefit.

As far as cheap immigrant labor, it’s basically the same equation. You save money for the employers and lower the wages, or cost the jobs of the workers. The net benefit to the economy is neutral or negative, but you damage one part of the economy to benefit another.

The government has the job of protecting the borders. The employers have to find workers within that constraint. They will probably have to pay higher wages, raising the prices. The people with jobs will have to pay higher prices, but won’t have to worry about losing their jobs, being physically assaulted, subsidizing public welfare and education and will have more unoccupied land for recreation. Not a bad trade-off, really.

    • If not for the then Secretary of State providing Israel with free surface to air missiles and other war materiel during the multi-nation Arab forces attacking Israel in 1967 there would be no Israel today.

Israel was virtually alone and surrounded by a sea of hostility while its main supplier of arms at that time, France, decided to renege on supplying Israel with much needed modern weaponry and spare parts.

One needs to acquaint themselves with why the U.S. is now the main military hardware supplier to Israel, and at bargain basement prices, while U.S. Aid is now into the billions.

The Jewish bloc within the Democrat Party has been pulling the strings for Israel and for decades. Maybe it is time that the U.S. taxpayer felt some relief from the economic monster that U.S. Aid has become, and not just to Israel?

I stand with Israel, but the freebies must come to an end.

  3. I have another comment, this time on the article advocating pro-life Supreme Court justices.

I contend that the Supreme Court must be neutral towards abortion, as the Constitution did not give the federal government power over the states. I myself favor the right to choose, but I contend the Supreme Court abortion decision is illegitimate, as it exerted a federal power that does not exist. In fact, it is up to the individual states to enact their own abortion laws.

This is the position that Trump actually advocated in an interview with Hannity. He said he would appoint right-to-life justices, and that once Roe vs Wade is overturned, the decisions would go back to the states.

I myself would consider a right-to-life Supreme Court justice who overturned the rights of a state to permit abortions to be every bit as dangerous as any other justice who felt the Supreme Court was the ultimate legislative resource.

    • I believe the original case argued constitutional right to privacy. It may be that it’s time to revisit that one. Privacy vs snuffing out human life?

I myself am pro-choice in the first half of pregnancy, and pro-life in the second half. And I am also in favor of turning it over to the states.

      • I agree with the general track you’re on, but not the concept of a trade-off: privacy versus forbidding abortion.

To me, the Constitution is definite. It either gives the federal government the right to regulate abortions or it doesn’t. It’s not a matter of “I feel strongly about abortions, so it’s ok”. The right to privacy is plainly pulled out of whole cloth. Not that I’m opposed to privacy, but questions like that need to be debated by legislatures, not decided by 5 to 4 votes or even 9 – 0 votes by unelected, lifetime tenured jurists.

        • I felt the same way about the same sex marriage decision.
It should have been left to the states as they regulate legal marriage.
I found it outrageous that 5 people in black robes decided this issue for 320 million others.

  4. So a muslim can threaten to kill a gay without consequences. Is a gay can threaten a muslim then too? Or only works one way and the government will provide assistance if they gay proven to be too resistant perhaps armed?

  5. ** The dragon media has chosen not to focus light on the negative effects of open borders and Obama’s stand down orders to border patrol agents to back off or look the other way while illegals pour in. If that is not treason, then there is no such thing as treason **

It’s treason alright but only for one news cycle. “Oh, look! A squirrel!”

    • It wouldn’t be treason as we define it, “giving aid and comfort to the enemy during wartime,” but it should meet the standard for “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

      • There is no war time requirement for giving aid and comfort to our enemies. Notwithstanding, hijra is war by stealthy trickling of invading foreign enemies and facilitating their entrance and sustenance is treason. Any who enter illegally are enemies who intend to steal jobs and public funds and to deform and undermine our political life.

On top of which, those Americans who engage in this treason have a sickness in their soul to favor foreigners over their own kin and to conceal the savagery or hostility of many of the foreigners in question.

      • Oh man! You stole the words right out of my…wait, what’s that, they have shiny squirrels now? Awesome!

  6. Only Dar al Salaam is allowed to threaten homosexuals because it’s part of their religion? What of Leviticus Chapters 18 and 21 that call out homosexuality as a capital offense with by stoning? What of Galatians Chapter 5 that states homosexuals will be denied a place in the kingdom of heaven? Is the Qur’an the only scriptural authority in the Netherlands?
    Oy vey! Maranatha!

    • In my opinion, the first amendment does not give religions the right to circumvent the law simply because of their doctrine. The 1st means that governments do not have the right to specifically address religious practice or establishment. My reading of that says it’s unconstitutional to give any religion special allowance.

This is US Constitution, but religious freedom means you can practice or not practice your religion, as long as you are within the law. A law cannot be passed with the purpose of hindering a religion, but if it has a legitimate reason, and hinders the practice of a particular religion, the law should stand.

Within the US context, anyone can say that gays need to be killed. If he says someone should kill gays, he is advocating murder. I know this is abstract, but I’ve seen plenty of people write that they wish Jews could be put into ovens. Obnoxious as it is, it’s protected speech, until they say someone needs to start killing Jews. Then, we can jail their sorry selves.

      • Sura 9:5, the Sword Verse, commands the seeking out of the Christian and the Jew, and polytheist for slaughter. That is the definition of premeditated murder from Leviticus 18:5-9 and United Stated Code. Unless that verse, and others like it, are foresworn, the Muslim is outside the law by definition and the First Amendment does not apply to Islam. Maybe Trump will take up the challenge. Obama was entirely on the other side of the question and allowed law enforcement efforts in the past to become hamstrung.

    • Leviticus is part of the Old Testament.
Now the Old Testament deals with the way things were in the Middle
East before the birth of Christ 2016 nearly 2017 ,years ago.

So its a primer about how brutish society was until the birth of Christ .So not a primer about how to be a Christian .But is a sort of warning about the barbarism and savagery of every kind in a pre -Christian society.

Then we have the start of the Christian era in the New Testament which is heralded by the birth of Christ.Throughout Christ’s life he acts as a social reformer. He calls out what is wrong with society.
And he gives his life on the cross willingly so man may have eternal life if he becomes Christ’s follower.

No look at the heavy hint in the word Christian .Notice that the stem is Christ. As followers of Christ Christians bring about a new order .They call out what is wrong with society. They emulate as far as they can the life of Christ as laid out in the New Testament.

The world of savagery and barbarity belongs firmly pre -Christ.
And those who make specious claims about Leviticus are clearly on the other side – the side of the false prophets – the side of the false idols with feet of clay -the side of the looney balmy insane left and their greedy cynical disingenuous hangers on..

      • Shelagh, human virtue existed before Christ; human failings didn’t end with the coming of Christ. He was deeply part of the Jewish tradition and made no claims beyond it. So while his message is perennial, his followers have the same faults as others. It is obvious that except in rare cases one can’t tell a Christian from anyone else. In fact, the Left preaches Christ’s message, too, as the current Pope claims to do.

As Christ said, wherever two or three are gathered in my name, at least two are vying for power.

There is no escape from our human failings except to own up to them. That doesn’t mean we can’t fight for our own and others’ liberty, but it does mean we must first build a moral culture in the face of those who wish to see us destroyed. As for “the world of savagery and barbarity” belonging to another era, nope. It’s right here and it permeates our whole culture, top to bottom. It is not from some other era: savagery and barbarity are right here, right now.

        • You are missing my point Dymphna.

This deliberate furphy about the Old Testament being in some way a primer for Christians cannot be allowed to stand unchallenged.

It is one that that came up at the time of the homosexual marriage debate to discredit Christians in particular Christianity in general..

But sure if you want to join in attacking one pillar of our civilization’s Judeo -Christian foundations then you go right ahead.Say that the bible is barbaric and hence so is Christianity

So, let’s follow that path to its logical conclusion.
The bible is terrible ,Christians are terrible ,all religions and all cultures are equally bad.And then we get to the point of saying we are so bad we should just convert to something alien so that we can feel better about ourselves. Our religions, our cultures our values, along with Western civilization are not worth defending indeed are indefensible.

Yep I’ve heard all that cultural and moral relativism before.
I just did’t realize you subscribed to it.I thought you were fighting against it.

It’s a great pity .I thought you were better than that.

  7. So, if threatening people with murder is ok if its part of your religion, why not beheading, enslaving and raping them as well?

  8. Next time a Muslim beheads an infidel and mugs it up to the TV cameras, the courts will let him off b/c he just acted in accordance with his religion. But of course no one is allowed to act in accord with the edicts of any other religion. Why do people respect a cult that terrorizes and attacks more than we respect compassion and charity? Why the special treatment? Partly the Left fears Islam, plus they hope Islam can smash capitalism so they’ll automatically have more power. The Left never does anything to help the country or the economy, only to advance their power and their agenda.

  9. Baron, sorry but today’s news feed is simply barf-making, as was the other news I trolled this morning. Bleah. The muslims (I refuse to capitalize it) keep killing, raping and being lawless, and the squishes keep making excuses for it. I don’t understand why Europe doesn’t start deportation tout suite.

I have spent the morning opening a new mail account because Yahoo screwed me over so bad that it was the end. Unfortunately, it is not easy to transfer email etc, probably because I’m not knowledgeable enough to do it properly.

say hello to Dymphna for me. Keep well, we need you!

  10. I have just received a message from God telling me to “kill all lefties wherever I find them”

  11. The articles on sexual child abuse are truly troubling – the British soccer clubs and Pizzagate. None of the latter’s victims has come forward. Do we have to wait until they have reached their 40s?

It all ties in with the article on Evil which flourishes where The Good has been abandoned by the PC elites. Social Justice is not a substitute! It is an instrument of Division and Intimidation and is all part of the Deconstruction of Western Civilization Project.

  12. “The rationale is this: death threats against homosexuals are in accord with Islamic doctrine, and are therefore protected under freedom of religion, and can’t be discriminatory.”

So we will tolerate intolerance to the death then? Seems somewhat a blind alley to me….

This seems to be along the lines that only whites can be racists due to “privilege”.

I wonder if the SJW crowd still apply this maxim to whites in South Africa (especially the Boers) and Rhodesia?

    I’m quite sure they will.

    • Well this is just the first step. Next they will be allowed beheading infidels because that is part of their culture too!

  13. ** death threats towards gay people from Muslims **

If gays ever issue death threats toward Muslims it’s going to be much burning of the midnight oil over at ye anti-discrimination bureau.
