Last night I posted a subtitled version of an amateur video showing African immigrants causing mayhem in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. The original video that Vlad used for the subtitling was available here. If you click that link now, you’ll see the following message:
This video has been removed as a violation of YouTube’s policy prohibiting hate speech.
Sorry about that.
A reminder: This was a video of an actual news evert with no commentary or text whatsoever, just the sight and sounds of a public occurrence witnessed by hundreds of people, and the reaction to it from spectators present at the scene.
How can this possibly be “hate speech”?
We have arrived at the Orwellian endgame of mass communication. The depiction of the world as it is, without filters or distorting mirrors, is not permitted — if that depiction might reveal behavior or characteristics of certain protected groups that would show them in a negative light.
Fortunately, Vlad’s subtitled version of the video was uploaded at MRC TV, which is not at all PC in its video policies. The footage is still available there — and is in the process of going viral:
It has become obvious that the elite guardians of our multicultural trans-national borderless society are determined to alter our perception of what goes on around us:
We are not to see these things.
We are not to know these things.
We are not even to think about these things.
To mix my metaphor of our totalitarian dystopia just a bit:
How many goodly creatures are there here!
How beauteous mankind is! O brave new world,
That has such people in’t!
