Jeannette Bougrab, a junior minister of Arab origin in the French government, said that there is no such thing as “moderate Islam”. She warned in a newspaper interview that the imposition of sharia will inevitably bring restrictions on people’s freedoms, particularly freedom of conscience.
In other news, a former professor at King Fahd University has collaborated with the largest religious organization in Saudi Arabia to produce a report concluding that if women in the kingdom are allowed to drive, there will be no virgins left in the country in ten years.
