The situation in Egypt has calmed down just a bit — everyone seems to be holding their breath, waiting for Hosni Mubarak to leave. The crowds are still in the streets, but the level of confrontation has dropped. The biggest news of the day was that an Egyptian journalist who was shot during the first days of the riots has died of his wounds.
In other news, British Prime Minister David Cameron has announced that Multiculturalism has been a failure in the UK. There’s no word whether the timing of his announcement was affected by tomorrow’s EDL demonstration in Luton, or whether it was just a coincidence.
