President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt is 82 years old, and his health is rumored to be failing, so speculation is rife about what will happen to Egypt after he is gone. A symposium of experts met recently in Barcelona and came to a reassuring conclusion: the change of Egyptian leadership will not affect the country’s alliance with the USA, nor will it endanger regional stability.
In other news, during his visit to the White House, British Prime Minister David Cameron gave President Obama a painting by a British ex-con who is also a graffiti “artist”. Mr. Cameron is reportedly a fan of the man’s work.
