China is seen by many as being exempt from the current global financial crisis, but this is not necessarily true. Despite state control, China has its share of bubbles, real estate and otherwise, and is vulnerable as a result. It depends for its fiscal well-being on European demand, which is expected to decline precipitously in the near future.
In other news, the opposition to the proposed mosque at Ground Zero in New York City is now being reported in the MSM. The Facebook group set up specifically to fight against the project has more than 20,000 members.
