The Granddaddy of Them All

I posted last night about the absurd Orwellian language imposed by the British government on its civil servants. I also embedded a video of retired Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin, who pointed out the extent to which the United States government has been infiltrated by apologists for Islamic extremism — or worse.

These are not unconnected phenomena. The Muslim Brotherhoodal-Ikhwan al-Muslimeen — lies behind both of these incidents, as well as many other similar cases. It has penetrated all major Western governments down to the local level as well as many of our academic institutions.

Has a government agency imposed politically correct language restrictions, which coincidentally benefit Muslims?

The Muslim Brotherhood has been at work.

The Muslim chaplains in the American military, our universities, or the state and federal prison systems?

Supplied by various Muslim Brotherhood affiliates.

The instructors and advisors hired by our governments to educate its bureaucrats and generals in the finer points of Islamic law and theology?

Trained and provided by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Al-Qaeda, Jaish-e-Mohammed, Hizb ut-Tahrir, CAIR, ISNA, MCB, OIC, etc.?

As Erick Stakelbeck says in the following CBN news report, the Muslim Brotherhood is “the granddaddy of them all.”

The video below takes a look at one particular Muslim Brotherhood representative, who — just a month after an Islamic terrorist went on a shooting rampage at Fort Hood — gave a briefing on Islam to our troops there, prior to their departure for Afghanistan:

More information is available at the CBN article. Some excerpts:

Dr. Louay Safi lectured on Islam last week to U.S. troops about to deploy to Afghanistan. He is a top official for the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA.

In 2007, the group was named as an un-indicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorism financing trial in U.S. history. Evidence introduced at that trial showed that ISNA is closely tied to the Muslim Brotherhood. The brotherhood is a global Islamic jihadist movement that laid the foundation for groups like al Qaeda and Hamas.

Dr. Safi has also worked for a Saudi-funded organization called the International Institute of Islamic Thought. The group has been on the radar screen of federal investigators for years. But Safi’s radical ties don’t end there.

In 1995, he was recorded on an FBI wiretap talking to convicted Palestinian terrorist Sami al-Arian.

So how was Safi chosen to lecture at Fort Hood? A spokesman for the Army base told CBN News that “Safi was one of the faculty members during a seminar about Islam for the Army’s 135th expeditionary unit. He said speakers are invited based on learning objectives, audience experience, and availability. The spokesman added that “organizers of the seminar were not aware of Safi’s alleged association, but have had no issues or concerns over his presentations nor has any unit raised any.”

This is the most staggering part of this whole affair — Safi was vetted by military intelligence officials, and they had no problem with his background. He was cleared to instruct our troops because the Muslim Brotherhood helpfully provided the criteria which the Defense Department uses to evaluate its Muslim contacts and recruits.

As Mr. Stakelbeck points out, anyone who spends just a little time doing open-source research on the internet could have easily discovered the shady background and questionable associations of Dr. Louay Safi.

But our military analysts aren’t allowed to do that. They have to follow the rule book, and the rule book was written with the help of…

The Muslim Brotherhood!

Nice catch, that Catch-22.

  1. Unfortunately the only way this story will get any traction here (much like anything else) is if FOX news and or Glen Beck start hammering away at it. They seem to be the only pipeline at the moment for the general public.

  2. spackle —

Alas, it is not possible for Fox News to take a strong anti-jihad position or publicize the activities of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Prince Alaweed bin-Talal recently doubled his holdings in Rupert Murdoch’s company, and at the same time Fox acquired assets in a Saudi media company. If Fox is ever judged under Saudi law to have “slandered Islam”, the Saudi government may seize its in-country assets. This makes Fox even more vulnerable to the Prince (who is a MB supporter) than it was before.

So Fox is free to be generally conservative and oppose the Democrats, but not to step on the toes of Islam.

Occasional talking heads may appear on Fox and tell the truth about Islam, but don’t expect any major anti-jihad features from it, and above all don’t expect it to expose the Muslim Brotherhood.

All of the major TV news outfits have been compromised, some more eagerly and willingly than others.

That’s why I feature the CBN news reports — they are the most thorough and well-researched reports on Islam that you can find on TV.

CBN has not been corrupted by MB money — at least not yet.

  3. Baron,
Interesting. I had no idea. It is amazing how deep the rabbit hole goes. I wonder if the Arab money was intentional as per FOX? As they are the ONLY MSM voice out there that even dares to question Islam even a tiny bit. Scratch that. It almost had to be intentional. It will be interesting to see how FOX reacts when there are even more Fort Hood’s or 9/11s in our future? I still say they are the best shot (along with talk radio) for any kind of stories regarding Islam to take hold. As I am sure you are well aware, CBN, blogs and alternative media is simply unknown to most Americans who just take a cursory interest in Islam or politics in general. But mention Glen Beck, O’Reilly or Rush and ding, ding, ding, ding! You have rung the bell and gotten their attention.

  4. Baron, this is major news. I couldn’t find this anywhere reported, so I take your word for it. So Fox is being outfoxed by a slick little Saudi princeling?

I have taken liberty to post this on my blog. It would be good to have a link though.

No wonder they’re not reporting anything truthfully when it comes to Islam.

  5. spackle —

You are quite right. I just don’t think Fox will be of much help. You’ll notice that Beck, O’Reilly, and Hannity hardly go after Islam at all. They’re laughably PC on the topic, following the Bush 43 playbook.

That’s why I promote CBN news. It’s widely available on cable, so I try to enlarge its audience just a tiny bit.

    Sheik —

No, I can’t give you a link. I heard it by word of mouth, so it could be utterly bogus.

It’s a source that I trust, and I believe it myself, but still — don’t take my word for it. Play it safe — if you can’t find it anywhere else, then I’m wrong, and it didn’t happen.

And Fox is not being outfoxed by a Saudi priceling. It is being gamed by the Muslim Brotherhood, for which Bin-Talal is just a single shill. The MB offensive is massive, subtle, constant, uniquitous, and very, very intelligently designed.

They had no trouble converting the media, the Pentagon, and the State Department to their point of view. Now that Obama is in, only a huge grassroots resistance can have any chance of stopping this particular train.

Our problems are much more serious than Europe’s, because the vast majority of the American people — including many anti-jihad conservatives — have no idea how bad things are.

Conservatives think that electing Republicans will solve the Islam problem. They focus on Obama, but Obama is just the symptom, not the disease. The infection is quite bipartisan.

  6. Furthermore, considering that Newscorp recently acquired the Wall Street Journal it occurs to me that Mr. Murdoch’s business partner Prince Alaweed may have commissioned the publication of this WSJ piece about Major Nidal Hassan:

Major Hasan and the Quran by Salam Al-Marayati

It argues that Major Hassan’s “interpretations” of the Koran are in error. It also argues that the US government should allow Muslim-American religious leaders to meet with Nidal Hasan and encourage him to repent. Although it’s not made clear why the US government would have an interest in securing Major Hassan’s place in heaven. Here is some background information on Mr. Al-Marayati, the author of the piece:
