Gates of Vienna Makes the Jerusalem Post!

Way cool. See: Global Agenda: Exodus from Europe.

A snip:

However, as [Paul Weston] notes in his second article on this theme, there are numerous other possible scenarios, although he rejects all except the “civil-war-is-inevitable” one. Among these are that “Islam peaceably integrates into Europe and we all live happily ever after” and that Islam moderates because the Muslim silent majority succeeds in reclaiming Islam from the extremists, making peaceful co-existence possible. Neither of these seem at all likely, or even possible, given current trends.

The other options he raises, that Europe is quietly Islamized and Christian culture fades into oblivion, or the alternative where Europe expels its Muslim minority, are also brusquely dismissed — leaving only the path to horrendous civil war.

While tending to agree with Weldon’s [sic — they spelled his name wrong!] conclusion, I would note that its realization requires a leap of faith, in both the literal and metaphoric senses. The evidence currently available strongly favors the passive-demise-of-Christian-culture scenario. This is now the default option, and only a dramatic shift in public opinion and behavior — a leap of faith — can move Europe from the demographic oblivion path to the full-scale civil war route. However, in one crucial aspect, these two routes, and indeed the expel-the-Muslims one, as well, all lead to the same place — the elimination of the European Jewish community. If the Muslims take over, the Jews will find their lives made impossible; but if a war breaks out between Christians and Muslims — or, to be historically accurate, if the struggle between Christians and Muslims for mastery of Europe is renewed — then the Jews will be caught in the middle and will have no life at all.

  1. However, in one crucial aspect, these two routes, and indeed the expel-the-Muslims one, as well, all lead to the same place — the elimination of the European Jewish community.

And there is nothing that would make Europe happier. Europe is not upset that Hitler killed 6 million Jews. They are upset at Hitler that he did not finish the job.

And they count on Islam, and Iran in particular, to finish the job.

  2. Do you suppose the Euros resent the Jews now because of the Holocaust? Is it considered further proof of the perils of unfettered Jewry?

I recall one of the first columns I ever read by Mark Steyn, where he told the story of a dinner party in France, where one of the guests made a casual comment about how the Jews make trouble everywhere they go.

I was really shocked by that, and even after all these years, I still just can’t grasp the Euro hatred of the Jews. I can handle it in the pre-WWII sense, having known people who left Europe before or after the War, but it just seems completely… what? Unfathomable? Illogical?

I understand the need for an enemy, or hatred of those that are different, but after 2000 years, it just seems like it’s time to move on, and stop blaming the Jews for everything.

  3. “I was walking along Raval (Barcelona) when all of a sudden I understood that Europe died with Auschwitz.

We assassinated 6 million Jews in order to end up bringing in 20 million Muslims!

We burnt in Auschwitz the culture, intelligence and power to create. We burnt the people of the world, the one who is proclaimed the chosen people of God. Because it is the people who gave to humanity the symbolic figures who were capable of changing history (Christ, Marx, Einstein,
Freud…) and who is the origin of progress and wellbeing.

We must admit that Europe, by relaxing its borders and giving in under the pretext of tolerance to the values of a fallacious cultural relativism, opened it’s doors to 20 million Muslims, often
illiterates and fanatics that we could meet, at best, in places such as Raval, the poorest of the nations and of the ghettos, and who are preparing the worst, such as the 9/11 and the Madrid
bombing and who are lodged in apartment blocs provided by the social welfare.

We also have exchanged culture with fanaticism, the capacity to create with the will to destroy, the wisdom with the superstition. We have exchanged the transcendental instinct of the Jews, who even under the worst possible conditions have always looked for a better peaceful world, for the suicide bomber. We have exchanged the pride of life for the fanatic obsession of death. Our death and that of our children.

What a grave mistake that we made!!!”
