When I first listened to this, I thought “that’s not the right tone to take – too upbeat for such a theme”. Then I listened to some other versions that are out there and they didn’t include verses dealing with the resurrection. So in that context, this version, which does have such a verse, takes an appropriate approach. What is Christianity without the doctrine of the resurrection? Not Christianity, certainly, as many have pointed out.
