Barron Trump Surrounded by Secret Service on First Day at New York University

Barron Trump was seen surrounded by Secret Service agents at New York University’s campus on his first day at New York University (NYU).

President Donald Trump’s youngest son was closely guarded as he began his first day of college.

The security detail serves as a reminder of Barron’s notoriety and the constant threats facing his politically involved family.

Barron’s father was almost killed by a gunman at a campaign rally in July, and the Secret Service has faced backlash over the massive security failures that led to the shooting.

Ex-Hochul, Cuomo Aide Accused of Being Chinese Spy Went on White House Tour— While Under Fed Investigation

It’s Ms. Sun goes to Washington.

The alleged Chinese spy who infiltrated the New York governor’s office was able to get into the White House — while under federal investigation, The Post has learned.

Linda Sun’s tour of the Executive Mansion came just two months before the FBI raided her gaudy $3.5 million Long Island home as they wrapped up their case into her alleged work for Beijing.

The May 8 visit was facilitated by Sun’s former boss Queens Rep. Grace Meng (D-NY), the congresswoman’s office confirmed Friday.

Sun — a former high-ranking aide for Gov. Kathy Hochul and former Gov. Andrew Cuomo — gushed about the jaunt to Washington DC in an emoji-filled Facebook post several days later.

GA. Teen Saved by Hero Cop at Last Minute as Teen Shooter Colt Gray Allegedly Pointed Gun at Her Speaks Out: ‘Hug Your Family’

A Georgia teen who was pushed into a bathroom to safety by cop as 14-year-old Colt Gray pointed a gun at her during the massacre at Apalachee High School is encouraging people to hug their families, because “you never know when you will see them again,” she says in a teary-eyed TikTok video.

In the clip posted on Sept. 4 — the same day that Gray is accused of opening fire at the high school in Winder, GA, killing four and injuring over 30 — Abby Ayers recalls the bloody event, which started as just “a normal day.”

“I was in second period and I needed to go to the bathroom, so I signed out like anyone else would, took the bathroom pass, went to the bathroom . . . and I started hearing banging,” Ayers begins the 5-minute-and-17-second long TikTok, which has been viewed almost 22 million times.

“So I walked out [of] the bathroom and I didn’t see anything. And then I turned to my left and I see this guy holding a gun, and he points it directly towards me and starts running to me. And I literally froze. I had no idea what to do, like at all.”

Next, “I see the cops running towards me. The cop slams me into the bathroom, tells me to get in the stall and do not open that door no matter what.”

The brave officer has not been identified.

“I get in the stall and I text my mom and I tell her I love her so much,” the teen continues, her voice breaking, “and there’s an active shooter.”

Not even 10 seconds later, Ayers recalls, “I hear shots firing from every direction . . . I hear people running down the hallway, I hear screams, I hear, ‘Help me.’

“All I can see in my mind is that gun being literally aimed at me, and him running towards me,” she says.

Hawaii Wildfire Victims Made it Just Blocks Before Becoming Trapped by Flames, Report Says

The wind pushed flames from house to house as a group of neighbors tried to escape their blazing subdivision, abandoning their cars in a blocked road and running to an industrial outbuilding for safety. All six perished just blocks from their homes.

The group, including an 11-year-old and his parents, was among the victims whose desperate attempts to escape the Lahaina wildfire were detailed for the first time in a report released Friday.

The investigation by the Fire Safety Research Institute for the Hawaii attorney general’s office delved into the conditions that fed the deadliest U.S. wildfire in more than a century and the attempts to stop its spread and evacuate the town’s residents.

Kamala Harris Campaign Chief of Staff Pushed for Online Voting as Democrats Oppose Securing Elections

Sheila Nix, the chief of staff for Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris’s campaign, has been leading an effort to push for insecure online voting in major elections.

Nix previously headed an organization that pushed for online voting despite security concerns, Just the News reported.

Critics recognize the pitfalls of mobile voting, including massive exposure to fraud.

Democrats insist that America’s elections are fair and free from fraud, despite multiple reports to the contrary.

However, they always support methods that open up the possibility of fraud, whether vote-by-mail or mobile app voting.

Maher lashed out at Loomer during his HBO show “Real Time” on Friday for her claim that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are faking their romance to sway 2024 voters.

“I think maybe Laura Loomer’s in an arranged relationship to influence the election because she’s very close to Trump,” Maher suggested.

Minnesota Reviewing Voter Registration Process Before Presidential Election as 1K Questionable Entries Found

Minnesota election officials are changing the state’s automatic voter registration system ahead of Election Day after finding roughly 1,000 potentially problematic entries.

About 1% of the more than 90,000 residents of the Gopher State that have been automatically registered or pre-registered to vote — while obtaining state-issued IDs such as driver’s licenses — since April have been flagged for potential problems, according to officials.

The group includes 16— and 17-year-olds who can be pre-registered to vote once they turn 18. The automatic process doesn’t require any registrants to confirm they meet legal criteria.

New York Bar Owner Says Disgraced Former NYPD Commish James Caban’s Brother Tried to Extort Him for Police Protection: Report

A New York bar owner has claimed that the brother of disgraced former Police Commissioner Edward Caban attempted to “extort” him when he sought help from the NYPD last year, according to a report from the New York Post. Shamel Kelly said that he was at one time introduced to the commissioner’s brother, James Caban, by a staffer at New York City Hall. The staffer was fired on Wednesday after Kelly’s allegations about extortion.

Kelly reportedly said that James Caban told him his problems with the NYPD would go away if he paid the commissioner’s brother $2,500. “He said he will mediate my issues,” Kelly said of the interaction. “He said he could bring the NYPD to me and resolve our issues is what he said he could do.”

Despite several softball questions, Harris had absolutely no answer when reporter Brian Taft asked he about “one or two specific things” she’d do as president when it comes to “bringing down prices and making life more affordable for people.”

Austrian Woman is Found Guilty of Fatally Infecting Her Neighbor With COVID-19

VIENNA (AP) — A woman in Austria was found guilty of fatally infecting her neighbor with COVID-19 in 2021, her second pandemic-related conviction in a year, according to local media. A judge sentenced the 54-year-old on Thursday to four months’ suspended imprisonment and an 800-euro fine ($886.75) for grossly negligent homicide.

The victim, who was also a cancer patient, died of pneumonia that was caused by the coronavirus, according to Austrian news agency APA. A virological report showed that the virus DNA matched both the deceased and the 54-year-old woman, proving that the defendant “almost 100 percent” transmitted it, an expert told the court.

“I feel sorry for you personally — I think that something like this has probably happened hundreds of times,” the judge said Thursday. “But you are unlucky that an expert has determined with almost absolute certainty that it was an infection that came from you.”

Russia Says Response Won’t ‘Be Pretty’ if Ukraine Starts Long-Range Strikes

Some of Russia’s top officials issued threats to the West and said the response to Kyiv won’t “be pretty” if Ukraine gets permission to begin long-range strikes with Western-supplied weapons.

“The decision has been made, the carte blanche and all indulgences have been given [to Kyiv], so we are ready for everything,” Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said, according to Russian state-owned news agency, RIA news.

“And we will react in a way that will not be pretty,” he added.

Deputy Chair of Russia’s Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that Ukraine’s incursion into the Kursk region, which Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky said slowed Moscow’s military advance on a different front, already justified the use of either nuclear or deadly non-nuclear weapons.

Kyiv: Russia and Ukraine conducted a major exchange of 206 prisoners on Saturday, 103 apiece, in their second such swap in two days, following negotiations mediated by the United Arab Emirates, officials said. President Volodymyr Zelensky credited the release of the prisoners to his forces’ recent incursion into Russia. The released Ukrainians — 82 soldiers and privates and 21 officers — had been held since the early months of the war, he said.

The Russian Defence Ministry said that the 103 Russian soldiers exchanged had been taken prisoner in the border Kursk region where Ukrainian forces launched the surprise incursion in August.

New Evidence Upends Contentious Easter Island Theory, Scientists Say

Rapa Nui, also known as Easter Island, never experienced a ruinous population collapse, according to an analysis of ancient DNA from 15 former inhabitants of the remote island in the Pacific Ocean.

The analysis also suggested that inhabitants of the island, which lies about 3,700 kilometers (2,300 miles) from the South American mainland, reached the Americas in the 1300s — long before Christopher Columbus’ 1492 landing in the New World.

Settled by Polynesian seafarers 800 years ago, Rapa Nui, today part of Chile, has hundreds of monumental stone heads that echo of the past. The island has long been a place of intrigue.

Some experts, such as geographer Jared Diamond in his 2005 book, “Collapse,” used Easter Island as a cautionary tale of how the exploitation of limited resources can result in catastrophic population decline, ecological devastation and the destruction of a society through infighting.

But that theory remains contentious, and other archaeological evidence suggests that Rapa Nui was home to a small but sustainable society.

The new analysis marks the first time scientists have used ancient DNA to address the question of whether Easter Island saw a self-inflicted societal collapse, helping to shed light on its mysterious past.

25 Killed: Dozens Injured as Fuel Tanker Explodes in Haiti, PM Visits Explosion Site

A devastating fuel truck explosion in the southern peninsula of Haiti has resulted in at least 25 fatalities and left numerous survivors with severe burns. The incident occurred on Saturday morning near the coastal city of Miragoane in the Nippes department. According to local media, the blast has caused significant disruption in the area, further exacerbating the region’s ongoing humanitarian crisis.

Explosion Causes Many Casualties

The explosion occurred around 7 a.m. local time. Reports said 16 bodies were burned which is beyond recognition. Radio RFM said 25 were dead, and nearly 40 were taken to the hospital with serious burns. Haiti’s Prime Minister, Garry Conille, went to see the scene and said some of the worst cases of injury were evacuated by helicopter to obtain medical treatment. He called the scene horrific and promised government support to victims and their families.

Testimonies Of Horrific Scenes

Eyewitnesses explained that a vehicle near the truck ramp into its gas tank caused the explosion. Many had congregated at the scene because there was fuel there, and later, as is the case in many developing countries, some people were injured because of that. One of them told Echo Haiti Media that people who stood close to the truck were “destroyed” by the explosion. He explained that it was hard for him to measure the number of casualties since there were so many people who collected themselves at the site.

Fuel Supply Issues And Crisis In Haiti

Fuel supplies to Miragoane have been delayed lately because trucks must be ferried across, as it avoids traveling the gang-controlled roads around Port-au-Prince. Escalating violence among gangs has left Haiti in a humanitarian crisis as most people are displaced, and face violence, and hunger. The whole country is in a state of emergency.

Biden-Harris Admin Gives Billions in Benefits to ‘Refugees’ Who Enter the Country Under ‘Parole’ Program

A refugee program under the Biden-Harris administration that prioritizes Cubans, Haitians, Nigaraguans, and Venezuelans for entry into the US also provides billions in monetary benefits to those refugees. The program, known as CHNV, is permitted to admit up to 30,000 people per month. Border Protection figures show that over 520,000 persons from those favored nations used this program to enter and remain in the US between January 2023 and June 2024.

Applicants who hail from those nations can gain a sponsor in the US and then fly to the US where they apply for asylum. Those CHNV applicants then have two years to live and work legally in the US. The program is often called a parole program because applicants enter the US, apply for asylum, and are then paroled into the US to live and work freely pending a court date. The administration has also continued to extend a “temporary protected status” for Haitians who illegally entered the US and remained while there was unrest or turmoil in their nation. DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas recently extended that order again.

Biden-Harris DHS Sec Mayorkas Opposes Deportation of Illegal Immigrants

The Biden-Harris administration’s Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas appeared at the Texas Tribune Festival to discuss the border crisis in the US, and specifically with regard to the challenges Texas has faced. When asked directly by PBS NewsHour’s Laura Barron-Lopez if he thought deportations were “good policy,” he said that he did not believe they were. His department is tasked with deporting those who enter the country illegally and those who do not win their asylum cases and are not permitted to stay in the US.

As to why he believed that deportation was a bad idea, he cited “extreme weather events,” as well as there being “elements of a society” that “have pointed to migrants as the source of social ills for which they are not responsible.” He compared that perceived sentiment in the US to that of Nazi Germany and their hatred of Jews. “People have died because of that rhetoric,” he said, invoking the Hatch Act as to why he would not link former President Donald Trump to that rhetoric.

Germany’s Scholz Defends Decision to Expand Control of Land Borders

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has defended the planned expansion of the nation’s border controls as he addressed the public in a citizens’ dialogue on Saturday.

“Irregular migration is not what we want,” Scholz told the gathering in Prenzlau, Brandenburg. If, as last year, 300,000 people came to Germany, only some of whom were entitled to protection, “then that is not good,” he said.

Therefore, one must look more closely at who has the right to enter, “because unfortunately we cannot completely rely on all our neighbours doing what they should do,” Scholz said.

Haitian Migrants ‘Don’t Understand the Laws’ in Springfield, Ohio: Former Lawmaker

An Ohio town that has seen its population swell with thousands of Haitian refugees has had to battle differences in culture and even driving practices as it adjusts to its new reality.

“We’ve got an influx of folks that have come in, and I think we were a little bit shocked that it was close to 20,000 people in a community of 60,000, and that’s caused some issues between the folks that live here and the folks that are coming in,” former Ohio State Rep. Kyle Koehler told Fox News Digital.

The comments come as Springfield, which is located roughly 50 miles west of Columbus, has entered the national spotlight in recent weeks, most recently when former President Donald Trump pointed to the town during one of his responses in Tuesday’s debate.

Illegal Immigrant Accused of Killing Three in Drunken Crash Deported Before Trial

An illegal immigrant accused of killing three Floridians in a drunken car crash was deported this month, leaving families of his alleged victims reeling that he didn’t face justice.

Erwin Rommel Recinos Zuniga, 28, had been on house arrest for the 2022 crash in West Flagler that killed Paola Sabillon, her boyfriend Jason Meza and his cousin Giselle Reyes before he was sent back to Honduras Sept. 6.

“He gets deported. He’s living. He’s sleeping. He is seeing his family. My sister stopped growing at 19 years old,” Miriam Castillo, Paola Sabillon’s sister, told NBC Miami.

“I have lost the little bit of faith in the justice system,” her sister Jailene Najera added.

Italian Prosecutors Seek Six-Year Sentence for Salvini

Italian prosecutors requested on Saturday a six-year prison sentence for Matteo Salvini, Italy’s far-right deputy prime minister, for blocking migrants from disembarking at one of the country’s ports in 2019.

Salvini, a partner in Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s coalition, is on trial for alleged deprivation of liberty and abuse of office for keeping 147 migrants at sea for weeks on a ship run by the Open Arms charity.

“The prosecution has asked for former interior minister Salvini to be sentenced to six years,” Open Arms’ lawyer Arturo Salerni told AFP, as the “long and difficult trial” nears an end.

A verdict in the trial, which began in October 2021, could come next month, he said. Salvini would be free to appeal any decision.

Salvini was not present, but wrote on Facebook: “Six years in prison for having blocked arrivals and defended Italy and Italians? Madness. Defending Italy is not a crime.”

Meloni also criticised the prosecutors.

Laken Riley Murder Suspect Ditched Key Bloody Evidence in Damning Video: Prosecution

Prosecutors in the Laken Riley case are fighting back against the murder suspect’s bid to suppress certain evidence — including videos authorities claim show the accused ditching key evidence, such as bloody clothes, shortly after the nursing student was killed.

Venezuelan migrant Jose Ibarra, 26, pled not guilty in May to 10 counts connected with the murder of Riley, 22, who was killed Feb. 22 while out for her morning run on the University of Georgia campus in Athens.

In August, Ibarra requested a hearing to potentially suppress a list of evidence, including cellphones, a cheek swab and social media accounts — that he claimed were unlawfully obtained by the police when they entered his apartment without a search warrant.

Post Witnesses Haitian Motorist Making Illegal Turn in Springfield, Ohio, Smashes Into Mom Driving With Autistic Daughter

A Haitian driver made an illegal turn and smashed into a mother’s pickup truck in Springfield, Ohio, a Post reporter witnessed Friday — as the small city grapples with a surge of immigrants from the Caribbean country who are unfamiliar with the rules of the road.

Robyn Stultz, a 32-year-old mother of three, was approaching the intersection at West First Street and St Paris Road with her 7-year-old autistic daughter in the backseat when a black Hyundai sedan collided with her truck around 2:30 p.m.

The Haitian driver made a right turn from the left lane — marked for continuing straight or turning left — and crashed into Stultz’s Ford F-350, which was making a right turn from the right lane, when he tried to overtake her, a Post reporter observed.

The Haitian driver, who remained at the scene, told The Post he was licensed and was driving to his job at Amazon. He said he had lived in the US for three years.

Shocking Video Appears to Show African Migrants Grilling Cats in Ohio Town in 2023

Christopher Rufo shared a video that was previously posted to social media on August 25, 2023, that shows Africans grilling what appear to be cats in Dayton, Ohio, about a half hour from Springfield, where the recent controversy over Haitian migrants allegedly eating dogs and cats originated.

“We identified a social media post, dated August 25, 2023, with a short video depicting what appear to be two skinned cats on top of a blue barbeque,” Rufo reported. The caption on the video read “Yoooo the Africans wildn on Parkwood,” which Rufo said refers to Parkwood Drive, in Dayton.

The video shows two cats walking on the grass near a broken-down fence and a voice over says “There go a cat right there. His ass better get missin’, man. Look like his homies on the grill!”

Trump Pledges to Launch Federal Task Force to ‘Liberate Aurora’ From Foreign Gangs

LAS VEGAS — Former President Donald Trump announced Friday that if elected he will “liberate Aurora”by establishing a federal task force aimed at “crushing” foreign gangs.

Tren de Aragua, a ruthless Venezuelan prison gang, has reportedly overrun several apartment buildingsin the Colorado city since expanding its reach in the US amid the historic surge in illegal immigration under the Harris-Biden administration.

“They’ve become real estate developers, like I used to be,” Trump said of the organized crime syndicate during a Las Vegas rally.

“They’re dismembering rivals from Chile and from Colombia … How the hell did we allow this to happen to our country?” the former president noted, referring to a recent Wall Street Journal report on the gang.

UK Transgender Population Likely Overestimated Due to Migrants Not Understanding Census Question

The British government likely overestimated the number of self-identified transgender people in the country due to a lack of understanding of the English language among immigrant groups.

In the most recent national census, conducted in 2021, around 262,000 people, or around 0.5 per cent of the population of England and Wales checked “no” to when asked if they identified as a different gender from the one they were born as.

However, this week, a deputy director at the Office for National Statistics (ONS), Mary Gregory said that there was “potential bias” in how the question was asked and therefore the number of trans-identified people was likely overestimated, the BBC reports.

WEF Advisor Demands Social Media Censorship to ‘Control’ AI ‘Disinformation’

World Economic Forum (WEF) senior advisor Yuval Noah Harari has called for the mass censorship of social media to supposedly tackle the alleged “threat” of “disinformation” content that’s generated by artificial intelligence (AI).

Harari, who also serves as an advisor to Klaus Schwab and is credited as the architect of the WEF’s anti-human agenda, made the call during a new interview on CNN with Fareed Zakaria.

He argues that First Amendment rights must be pushed aside so the public can be censored under the pretext of regulating AI.

However, he claims the move is not about “harming the freedom of speech of human beings” but warns that censorship is necessary to ensure that the First Amendment is “not a bot right.”

It’s sad to think that many first-time voters—i.e., ILLEGALS who snuck into Obamerica looking for alotta free **** from the stupid gringos—now have to choose between “Orange -angry megalomaniac- Hitler” and The -Hollywood-coiffed-and-scripted-commie-toddler- Blacktivist Queen. Makes Obamerica look alot like the same third-world, Disneyland acid trip they came from….

    • For some reason, the “crickets” in the previous post got silenced in translation..

“The pink-haired angry lesbian with a liberal arts major who now heads up the “Diversity and Equity” department at Lululemon has the same weight in vote as does a farmer. One produces for the world while the other detracts value. What’s worth understanding, too, is that with the advancement of technology, which builds on previous underlying fundamentals such as electricity, for example, there are more and more folks who fall into the “comfort saturation” bucket than fall into the “produce isht we need” bucket. Technology, remember. Combine harvesters don’t vote.

What’s more is that the “comfort class” have an inability to understand the connection between their liberal world and that of the reality world. Case in point. They are champions of electricity. In fact, they see it as part of the cosmic firmament. It’s just there, like the air you breathe, and therefore should be a right. At the same time, they are ready and willing to deface beautiful artwork, glue themselves to bridges, and become general nuisances to society in an effort to end the use of coal and natural gas. Their inability to understand the connection between what they see as a right (electricity) and what they see as evil (coal and natural gas) is complete. 100% complete.

Because these people are useless and an actual menace to society, they’re not wanted. Pray tell, who wants this?

It is why they have to resort to violence to demand society like, accept, and “value” them. Communists are always the same. They’re the parasite class in their early phase, but like any cycle before us (Mao’s China, Pol Pot’s Cambodia, Stalin’s Bolsheviks), they resort to tyranny. Always and every time.

You can easily spot tyranny because it always comes in the name of compassion and equality of outcomes. It is a road paved with cowards, conmen, corrupt bureaucrats, high taxes, debauchery, mass menticide, and the moral depravity of distracted and diseased materialists conned by chosen ones who monopolise control of information, media, spy agencies, war machines, and money. We’ve moved past the phase where we can vote our way out of the destruction. No, the deep state is a real thing. We still have politicians and politics, but it’s a facade. Today, politics is the entertainment division of the military industrial complex.

Take a look around you and tell me that this time is different.” —International Man (Sep 2024)

“In 1974, Sean Connery made one of the worst and most profound movies in cinematic history: Zardoz. I saw the flick with Maltz and we left the cinema feeling robbed (“You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll kiss two bucks goodbye.” —Maltz), but like we’d just seen a preview of our future. Then, in 2008, with the election of President Affirmative Action, it dawned on me that Zardoz was actually a prescient and accurate preview of Obamerica, complete with its two distinct civilizations—one of “fashionable, sexually-ambiguous intellectual CONSUMERS (“Eternals”)”; and the other of “natural, school-of-hard-knocks deplorable PRODUCERS (“Brutals”)”.

In a matriarchal, post-apocalyptic future, the world’s inhabited by two civilizations: “Eternals”—wealthy, cerebral sexually-ambiguous beings, who live in isolation and spend their time sashying around curtain-festooned castles and lush gardens in slow, dreamy modern-dance-steps because….well, they’re too intellectually sophisticated to actually DO anything else; and “Brutals”—the masses, who live off the land and provide for all of the Eternals’ needs. Zardoz—a flying stone head-mask thingy meant to portray a deity—maintains the Eternals’ enforcement arm, the Exterminators, with an unlimited supply of weapons to terrorize & subjugate the Brutals.

Of course, Zardoz can be viewed as a simple warning about the inevitable downsides of blind, cult-like faiths that demand sacrifice to a collective. Nevertheless, today, the film’s central theme feels especially prescient considering Harris/biden’s “Build Back Better” (i.e., “Great Reset”) repackeged scam that we’re being asked to accept with blind, cult-like faith. So I reckon Boorman, the film’s producer, was actually a prophet.
It’s noteworthy that, late in the film we learn that Zardoz, the supposed deity, is actually a sham. It, or HE, as it turned out, was just an Eternal who was tasked with controlling the Exterminators to insure the constant supply of food and goods required by the Eternals. And, eventually, we also learn that “Zardoz” is simply a clever portmanteau of “Wizard of Oz”.

I reckon if the film hadn’t been so poorly done, more people would’ve seen and heeded its clear and obvious warning: Always pay attention to the man behind the curtain. Remember: The “great and powerful” Zardoz is just the same ol’ snake-oil salesman hawking the same ol’ toxic potion in shiny, new bottles covered with ambiguously hopeful words intended solely to TAKE something of value FROM you and GIVE it to THEM.” —posted to fb (Jan 2021)

  3. Re: “Seven members of a grooming gang have been jailed for a collective 106 years in prison for the systematic sexual abuse of two underage girls in the northern English town of Rotherham.”

That works out to fifteen years plus change, each. That is a ridiculously lenient sentence given the irreparable harm these vermin did to those poor girls. Life imprisonment should have been the punishment, without possibility of parole. And in a saner more-just age, they would have been hung. Some crimes are simply too heinous to forgive, and this ought to be one of them.

And it is nearly certain that these convicts will not do the full sentence for their crimes; mark my words, they’ll get let out early on some technicality or for “good behavior” or some other reason. When/if that happens, it will be yet another travesty of justice in a land once know worldwide for the quality of its jurisprudence.
