3 Years After Decriminalizing Hard Drugs in Oregon, Only 85 Cited People Sought Addiction Assessment — Thousands Died of Overdose

The state of Oregon’s failed experiment to decriminalize hard drugs comes to an official end on Sunday, and data from the state’s judicial department reveals just how disastrous and ineffective Measure 110 was. Only 85 people issued citations sought addiction assessment during the three years of decriminalization, and thousands died from overdoses, data shows.

Oregon became the first state in the nation to decriminalize possession of illicit drugs — such as heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine, and LSD — when voters approved Ballot Measure 110 in Nov. 2020. The law took effect on Feb. 1, 2021, turning possession of hard drugs from a criminal misdemeanor into a Class E misdemeanor, which warrants a citation of up to $100. The punishment could be compared to receiving a traffic ticket.

After Repeated Irregularities, Texas to Oversee November Election in Harris County

Ongoing problems identified in the administration of elections in Harris County, the largest county in Texas, are enough to warrant state intervention, Texas Secretary of State Jane Nelson says.

After Harris County election administrators acted “in defiance of state law,” Nelson said she determined an “enhanced presence by the Secretary’s office” was necessary for the November 2024 election.

As a result, SOS Elections Division staff will assist Harris County officials “for the duration of the election period from early voting, to Election Day, and through tabulation.”

Attorneys General of 24 States Ask Supreme Court to Block EPA’s Methane Reduction Rule

Authored by Katabella Roberts via The Epoch Times

Attorneys General in 24 states have asked the Supreme Court to block the federal government’s methane standards for the oil and gas sector, arguing the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) overstepped its authority in issuing the final rule.

The EPA has said the new standards are part of efforts to sharply reduce emissions of methane and “other harmful air pollution from oil and natural gas operations.”

Baltimore Schools CEO Discusses Why Her Husband Has Not “Punched Out” Fox Reporter

Investigative journalist Chris Papst of Fox45 News’ Project Baltimore has spent years exposing grade scandals and corruption within Baltimore City Schools. His reporting has undoubtedly drawn the ire of the head of the school system, who, in a recent interview, jokingly said her husband hasn’t “punched out” the reporter.

Santelises has been at the top of the school system for years, embroiled in several grade-changing scandals. Since she took charge in the 2016/17 school year—the same time Papst’s team began its investigations—district enrollment has declined by 6,500 students, or about 8%. Despite this slide in students, the school system’s budget has swelled by $400 million. Yet, as more taxpayers’ monies are spent, grade scores are going in the wrong direction.

Over the last eight years, the school system’s graduation rate has declined, while the dropout and chronic absenteeism rates have been rising.

Biden-Harris Administration Defends Big Tech Censorship Pressure Following Zuckerberg’s Admission

The Biden-Harris White House looks determined to justify and normalize the practice of the government colluding with private companies, in this instance Big Tech, to censor speech.

After Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on Monday sent a letter to the House Judiciary Committee, admitting that his company came under pressure from the current administration to conduct censorship and that he “believes” that was wrong — the White House doubled down on the controversial, and quite possibly, unconstitutional, policy.

Biden-Harris Admin Busted Using Secret Rule to ‘Trump-Proof’ DOJ

Authored by Luis Cornelio via HeadlineUSA.com

The Biden-Harris administration appears to have intensified its efforts to block a potential return by President Donald Trump to the White House, according to a report from the Daily Caller on Tuesday.

The current administration has resorted to using a “Schedule A” hiring rule to staff DOJ offices with individuals who may be shielded from potential termination by a new administration, including that of Trump if he wins the 2024 election.

Several hundred employees have been hired under this rule, bypassing merit-based qualifications and allowing them to keep their jobs even at the end of the current administration’s term.

Breaking: FBI Releases Details of Thomas Matthew Crooks’ Search History, New Photos of Gun, Backpack, Explosives

The FBI has released more information about its investigation into the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, USA Today reported Wednesday after receiving an update in a conference call briefing from the bureau.

The FBI has done an analysis of Thomas Crooks’ online search history that revealed the would-be assassin demonstrated “detailed attack planning” well before the Butler, PA rally where Trump was shot. Kevin Rojek, a special agent in charge of the FBI’s Pittsburgh field office, said the FBI’s analysis into Crooks’ activities provided “valuable insight into his mindset, but not a definitive motive.”

Rojek told reporters that Crooks was searching for campaign events for both Trump and Biden. Crooks was also searching online for explosive devices, including “detonating cord,” “blasting cap,” “how to make a bomb from fertilizer,” and “how do remote detonators work,” with these searches starting as early as September 2019. Crooks also conducted searches for ammonium nitrate, nitromethane, and other materials consistent with manufacturing explosive devices.

College Students Afraid to Admit They Are Jewish Amid Gaza Protests, Anti-Semitism on Campuses: Survey

Jewish students are reporting their fear of identifying as Jews amid the ongoing war in Gaza: 44 percent of college students and recent graduates said they “rarely” or “never” feel safe acknowledging being Jewish on campus, according to a new survey from the Alums for Campus Fairness.

The survey showed that 81 percent of college students and 69 percent of alums will avoid going to certain places, events, or situations because they fear a confrontation, while 60 percent said they have seen or heard faculty members using antisemitic language either to them or someone they know, the New York Post reported.

At 76 percent, the overwhelming majority of the 1,171 students surveyed say antisemitism has escalated from previous years while 83 percent of students and alums defined the growing antisemitism as a “very serious problem,” up from 74 percent who called it that in a 2021 survey.

Federal Court Green Lights New Defamation Trial Between Palin and New York Times

A new defamation trial between former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin and the New York Times will take place, according to a federal court decision on Wednesday.

Palin has said that a 2017 editorial connecting her to the shooting of former Democratic Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was defamatory.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals said a new trial can move forward.

Circuit Judge John Walker argued that U.S. District Judge Jed Rakoff in Manhattan made mistakes, such as excluding evidence, in the previous trial against the New York Times and its former editorial page editor James Bennet, which took place in February 2022.

“Unfortunately, several major issues at trial — specifically, the erroneous exclusion of evidence, an inaccurate jury instruction, a legally erroneous response to a mid-deliberation jury question, and jurors learning during deliberations of the district court’s Rule 50 dismissal ruling — impugn the reliability of that verdict,” read the opinion.

Founder of Anti-Cop Group Accused of Using Donations to Fund Lavish Lifestyle

The founder of a radical anti-police nonprofit has been accused of using company funds to purchase designer apparel and rent out luxurious mansions around the world for personal travel.

Brandon D. Anderson, 39, who founded an app intended to replace law enforcement officers with average citizens called Raheem AI, is alleged to have spent at least $250,000 on lavish goods in 2021 which were not approved by the organization, the New York Times reported.

After employees had gone unpaid, they were left with a dilemma: notify law enforcement about the founder of their company — which has a goal of abolishing the police — or handle it internally. They ultimately decided to contact the District of Columbia’s attorney general after realizing their wages were not going to be recovered due to Anderson allegedly funneling the money to himself. The DC attorney general is now considering launching a criminal probe into the founder’s fraud allegations.

Free Speech Stakes: Bitchute Wagers $10K on No Shadow Bans

BitChute, a champion of free speech, has launched a pioneering initiative: a $10,000 no-shadow-banning guarantee, underscoring their commitment to not suppressing voices.

Unlike many mainstream platforms where censorship such as shadow banning is almost routine, BitChute asserts its dedication to ensuring that every piece of legal content receives the visibility it deserves.

BitChute’s policy is straightforward: the platform vows it will never shadow-ban its users. This stance is a response to the widespread content censorship seen elsewhere, where controversial or offensive ideas often face suppression.

The platform is so committed to its promise not to shadowban that if any users can find any evidence to suggest they shadowban users, they get a payout of $10,000.

Goodwill Closes 2 Seattle Stores Citing ‘Escalating Theft, Safety Concerns, and Rising Rents’

On Monday, Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington announced plans to close its South Lake Union and University District nonprofit thrift store locations due to “escalating theft, safety concerns, and rising rents” which “have made it increasingly difficult to maintain a secure and sustainable environment for both employees and shoppers.” The final day the stores will be open and accepting donations is September 22. The closure is the latest in a retail exodus that continues in Seattle due to rampant crime and high operating costs.

Derieontay Sparks, Sr. Vice President, Customer Experience, Retail, and Revenue Growth at Evergreen Goodwill said in a statement obtained by The Ari Hoffman Show on Talk Radio 570 KVI, “The decision to close these stores was not made lightly. Both locations have experienced a troubling rise in property damage, break-ins, and safety concerns for our employees. These challenges, coupled with rising rent and operational costs, have made it unsustainable to continue operating in these areas.”

GOP Chairman Jordan Subpoenas Company Headed by Daughter of Judge in ‘Hush Money’ Case

Chairman of House Judiciary Committee Jim Jordan issued a subpoena Wednesday to the company headed by the daughter of the judge in Donald Trump’s New York so-called “hush money” case seeking documents pertaining to the consulting service’s work.

The subpoena is part of Jordan’s efforts to investigate the allegedly political prosecutions against former President Trump. Trump’s legal team tried several times to get Judge Merchan to recuse himself during the New York trial over the judge’s daughter’s work for Democratic campaigns through a consulting group. Merchan never recused himself and Trump was ultimately convicted on 34 counts of falsifying business records.

Important New Poll Reveals Most Americans Know China is Funding the Fentanyl Murder of More Than 100,000 Americans Each Year

In a recent national poll, more than half of responding Americans believe that China is deliberately exporting fentanyl to the United States for the purpose of harming, or even destabilizing our nation.

Were that true, some might reasonably describe that strategy as an act of war.

For China, it would be historic payback time.

Having lost a generation, a nation, and an empire to opium introduced by Imperial Britain during the 1800s, no one knows better than the Chinese that a drug scourge can bring a country literally to its knees.

So, it should not surprise anyone that they have become a center of illicit fentanyl manufacturing, with drug traffickers exporting the killing chemical to the one nation China must strategically injure if they are to make good on their intent to dominate the rest of the 21st Century: the United States. More than simply turning a blind eye to those who are creating the drugs, the U.S. House Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party reported this spring that China is directly supporting the creation of fentanyl and other drugs by offering “tax rebates and other financial benefits” to those manufacturers, as long as those drugs are sold outside of China:

Is There Growing Disenchantment With the “Joyous” Harris Campaign?

In just over a week, mainstream media outlets have gone from hailing Kamala Harris’ Democratic nomination as a “stunning” event for which crowds went “ballistic,” to making clear their dissatisfaction with her lack of substance on matters of policy.

Harris also appears to be damaging her standing among journalists, not least by continually avoiding pre-election interviews, suggesting a disdain for democratic engagement.

Take The New York Times as an example. On August 9th, the establishment publication celebrated that “Harris Used to Worry About Laughing. Now Joy Is Fueling Her Campaign.” Just over a fortnight later, it ran a piece by Patrick Healy, the deputy opinion editor, leading with the line: “Joy Is Not a Strategy.”

Healy noted that “being our joyful Momala is not going to win the election,” echoing fears within the Democratic Party that—as one South Carolina official put it—while “energy is one thing … it’s not worth anything unless it’s harnessed and targeted.”

Justice Department Charges Two Foreign Nationals in Major Swatting Scheme

The Justice Department on Wednesday unveiled a grand jury indictment against two European men accused of swatting dozens of members of Congress over a four year period.

Members of Congress have seen a surge in swatting incidents in recent years. Swatting is when an individual calls 911 to report a knowingly false crime in order to trigger a massive police presence at the residence or business.

The department charged 26-year-old Romanian Thomasz Szabo, and 21-year-old Nemanja Radovanovic of Serbia with 34 counts related to the alleged harassment scheme.

Kamala’s Digital Team Has Over 175 Staffers Attacking Trump Online

The Kamala Harris campaign has created a digital operation with over 175 staff members to attack former President Donald Trump online. The Harris campaign has recruited an army of GenZ staffers from Harris for President and the Democratic National Committee to target voters ahead of November.

A spokesperson for the Harris campaign told Axios that the digital team is focused on using social media to “break through a challenging media environment to reach the voters who are most difficult to reach.” The digital mobilization team’s “rapid response” accounts are responsible for reacting to and capitalizing on trends and key moments in real-time, often without approval from higher-ups, the spokesperson said.

Louisiana Gov Jeff Landry Bans Critical Race Theory in Public Schools

Lousiana Governor Jeff Landry signed an executive order on Tuesday banning Critical Race Theory (CRT) from being taught in K-12 public schools, saying these teachings were “divisive” and had no place in Lousiana classrooms.

The governor’s office wrote in a press release, “Critical Race Theory (CRT) includes divisive teachings that instruct students to view life through the lens of race and victimhood. Governor Landry believes students should be learning about American exceptionalism and the principles embodied in State and Federal Constitutions of the United States of America that recognize the equal value of every individual.”

Shall Not be Infringed: Massachusetts Supreme Court Strikes Down Switchblade Knife Ban

Authored by Zachary Stieber via The Epoch Times (emphasis ours)

The Massachusetts Supreme Court on Aug. 27 struck down the state’s ban on carrying switchblade knives, findingthe prohibition violates the U.S. Constitution’s Second Amendment.

The case was brought by David Canjura, who was arrested in 2020 after a domestic dispute and charged with carrying a dangerous weapon in violation of the switchblade ban following a search by officers.

anjura said he knew that carrying the knife violated the law but filed a motion to dismiss the charge, arguing that the ban violated his Second Amendment right to bear arms. A judge denied the motion, leading to an appeal that reached the state’s high court.

Massachusetts officials did not identify any historical bans on switchblades or their historical analogue, pocketknives, justices said on Tuesday. That means the ban is not allowed under a test outlined in a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision.

SpaceX Launches 21 Starlink Satellites, But Rocket’s First Stage Crashes on Landing Barge

After standing down from the piloted Polaris Dawn launch late Tuesday, SpaceX shifted gears and pressed ahead with plans for back-to-back launches of Starlink internet satellites early Wednesday, one from Florida and the other from California.

But the second flight was called off after the first stage used in the Florida launch toppled into the Atlantic Ocean and broke apart while attempting to land on a SpaceX droneship stationed several hundred miles northeast of Cape Canaveral. The landing mishap ended a string of 267 successful booster recoveries dating back to February 2021.

The Falcon 9’s second stage, meanwhile, successfully carried 21 Starlink satellites to their planned orbit.

Spokesman Says Walz’s Lies Make Him Authentic

Gov. Tim Walz began his political career with a lie.

According to the story that launched his career, Walz, a “football coach” and a “command sergeant major” took two students to a Bush campaign event only to be subjected to a “KGB-style interrogation” because one of the students had a Kerry sticker on his wallet.

Walz, facing arrest by the Secret Service (because one of his students had a Kerry sticker on his wallet) then demanded “if they really wanted to arrest a command sergeant major who’d just returned from fighting the war on terrorism.”

Since then we’ve learned that every part of that story was a lie.

Walz was not a command sergeant major, he hadn’t returned from fighting a war and he wasn’t even actually a football coach. And the entire story which he kept on repeating as recently as 2020 never happened. Instead, Walz showed up with some of his students outside a Bush event with a protest sign claiming to be a veteran of the War in Afghanistan who supported Kerry.

That there wasn’t one single true thing about the story that began Walz’s political career somehow perfectly encompasses the Baron Munchausen of Minnesota.

Wilkerson had been charged with first-degree murder and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon in the fatal shooting of Troy Cunningham in Memphis on April 2, the Marshals Service said in a news release.

The task force had tracked Wilkerson to a Memphis home and surrounded the house. Wilkerson, who was hiding in the attic, was arrested after he fell through the ceiling, the Marshals Service said. He was not hurt.

Taxpayer-Funded AI Targets Vaccine Skeptics in Social Media Surveillance

Preferred information about actual medical inoculation is now being protected by — more “inoculation.”

This latter form is proliferated via an “AI” (machine learning) tool against “misinformation” about vaccines.

It is the US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) — or rather, US taxpayers — that is funding this effort.

The University of Pennsylvania is the recipient of the $4 million covering the period from April 2022 until March 2027, used to conduct a randomized trial called “Inoculate for HPV Vaccine” and produce the said tool.

This information came to light thanks to the Children’s Health Defense (CHD) freedom of information request to gain access to grant documents.

Video Shows BLM Activist Election Worker Destroying Trump Ballots in 2020

A shocking video has just emerged online that shows an election worker destroying ballots that were cast for President Donald Trump in the 2020 race.

The video appears to have been recorded by a Black Lives Matter (BLM) activist who was filming himself sorting through ballots cast in the 2020 election and destroying any that were marked for Trump.

He can be seen clearly holding the ballots up to the camera before opening them, tearing them up, and throwing them in the trash.

The footage appears to have been filmed and streamed on social media using a smartphone selfie camera as the video is flipped like a mirror image.

The video shows the “Black Lives Matter” logo in the corner, suggesting the leftist election worker was destroying ballots for BLM.

Chris Rufo Appearance at Alberta Conference Triggers Some Sponsors to Pull Support

Several corporate sponsors are withdrawing their support of the Canada Strong and Free Network’s Red Deer conference.

The termination of support comes after left-wing activists and journalists have targeted the networking organization for hosting American conservative journalist Christopher Rufo, though the companies are remaining mum as to why they have pulled their support.

A hit piece published in the National Observer at the beginning of August attacked CSFN for hosting Rufo, painting the conservative journalist as “far-right” and a regressive force in politics.

Later in the month, a petition on Change.org started by LGBTQ activist Wilbur Turner began circulating online, seeking to pressure CSFN’s corporate sponsors into withdrawing their support from their September conference in Red Deer because of Rufo’s scheduled talk.

Terror Suspect Came to Canada 3 Years After Allegedly Appearing in ISIS Video

A Toronto terror suspect at the centre of a controversy over Canada’s security screening system arrived in the country three years after he allegedly appeared in a 2015 ISIS video, according to details released on Wednesday.

A chronology tabled at the Standing Committee on Public Safety and National Security shows Ahmed Fouad Mostafa Eldidi landed at Toronto’s Pearson airport on Feb. 5, 2018 and made a refugee claim that was accepted in February 2019.

He became a Canadian citizen in May 2024, after the Canadian Security Intelligence Service screened him and “returned a favorable recommendation,” according to the timeline tabled by Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc.

CSIS learned in June that Eldidi could pose a security threat and launched an investigation. The RCMP also began an investigation and arrested Eldidi and his son Mostafa on July 28 for allegedly plotting an ISIS attack in Toronto.

“There is No Place for Orwell’s ‘Thought Police’ in 21st Century Britain”: An Interview With Isabel Vaughn-Spruce

Isabel Vaughn-Spruce is a peaceful, law-abiding woman—but she has been arrested twice for praying silently near an abortion centre in Birmingham, England. In a rare bit of good news for freedom of speech, she has just received a payout of £13,000 from the West Midlands Police “in acknowledgement of her unjust treatment and the breach of her human rights” after she issued a claim alleging “two wrongful arrests and false imprisonments; assault and battery in relation to an intrusive search of her person; and for a breach of her human rights both in respect to the arrests, and to the onerous bail conditions imposed on her.”

Vaughn-Spruce’s case has attracted international attention and condemnation. She was arrested for the first time in November 2022, when she was confronted by two police officers while standing silently on the sidewalk. She told them that she was not protesting, but that “I might be praying in my head, but I’ve said nothing out loud.” The video of her arrest went viral.

Czech Drone Producer Reports Record Profits

Primoco UAV SE, a leading Czech military drone producer, has announced record half-year profits driven by rising global demand and increased defense expenditures. Net income for January to June surged by 81 percent year-over-year to 121 million CZK (€4.8 million), while EBITDA jumped by 128 percent to 157 million CZK (€6.3 million), the company reported. Energy Shortage Fears Sink Google’s Irish Data Centre Plans

Fears surrounding energy shortages in Ireland have scuppered plans for a new Google data centre in the country.

Documents published by the South Dublin County Council have confirmed it has rejected the multinational’s plans to expand its operations on the outskirts of the Irish capital.

The development was to involve the construction of a new 72,400m² data storage facility in the Grange Castle area, along with a host of other support infrastructure.

In its ruling rejecting the company’s request for planning permission, the council said it could not approve it due to “existing insufficient capacity in the electricity network”.

Environmental NGOs Sue EC Over Aviation and Shipping Addition to ‘Green Taxonomy’ System

A group of NGO’s have said they are bringing a climate-based case against the European Commission at the European Court of Justice (ECJ) designed to have aircraft and ships removed from the European Union’s sustainable finance taxonomy.

With its taxonomy, the EU created a classification system to define criteria for environmentally sustainable economic activities. It serves to guide financial backers toward environmentally friendly investments.

The taxonomy is aligned with the target of net-zero by 2050 and includes broader environmental goals alongside climate protection.

Climate activists, though, have taken issue with the decision made at the end of 2023 to include aviation and shipping in the classification system.

French Authorities Issue Preliminary Charges Against Telegram Messaging App CEO

PARIS (AP) — French authorities handed preliminary charges to Telegram CEO Pavel Durov on Wednesday for allowing alleged criminal activity on his messaging app, and barred him from leaving France pending further investigation.

Both free-speech advocates and authoritarian governments have spoken out in Durov’s defense since his weekend arrest. The case has also called attention to the challenges of policing illegal activity online, and to the Russia-born Durov’s own unusual biography and multiple passports.

Durov was detained on Saturday at Le Bourget airport outside Paris as part of a sweeping investigation opened earlier this year, and released earlier Wednesday after four days of questioning. Investigative judges filed preliminary charges Wednesday night and ordered him to pay 5 million euros bail and to report to a police station twice a week, according to a statement from the Paris prosecutor’s office.

Allegations against Durov, who is also a French citizen, include that his platform is being used for child sexual abuse material and drug trafficking, and that Telegram refused to share information or documents with investigators when required by law.

The first preliminary charge against him was for ‘‘complicity in managing an online platform to allow illicit transactions by an organized group,’’ a crime that can lead to sentences of up to 10 years in prison and 500,000 euro fine, the prosecutor’s office said.

Preliminary charges under French law mean magistrates have strong reason to believe a crime was committed but allow more time for further investigation.

There was no immediate comment from Durov or Telegram to the charges.

French President Searching for a Way Out

Following two days of consultations with leading figures from all the political parties represented in the National Assembly, the—partial—verdict is in. Emmanuel Macron has still not found his prime minister, but categorically rules out any government formed with the left-wing New Popular Front (NFP) coalition.

The mismatch between the NFP’s vote share and the impulse to exclude it from power speaks to the president’s despising the popular vote. In turn, the optics of this would be damaging to Macron and so the search for allies is under way. New consultations have begun, in a climate of high tension and growing discontent.

The first phase of consultations ended on the evening of Monday, August 26th. Macron took the time to meet representatives of the Left on Friday, August 23rd, and on August 26th he met the Rassemblement National (RN) and its allies.

French Left Calls for Mass Protest Against Macron After He Blocks Its Choice for French PM

Authored by Jake Johnson via Common Dreams

Leftist parties in France on Tuesday accused President Emmanuel Macron of election theft and announced mass protests after he rejected Nouveau Front Populaire’s proposed candidate for prime minister, even though the left-wing coalition won the most seats in a snap parliamentary contest last month.

The left-wing parties that formed NFP in June to fight off the surging far-right expressed outrage at Macron’s decision, with the Jean-Luc Mélenchon-led La France Insoumise (LFI) Party condemning Macron’s dismissal of a leftist government as a “coup” and urging a “firm response from French society.”

Backing demands from youth-led organizations, the party specifically called for “a large demonstration against Macron’s coup on September 7” and expressed “hope that the political, union, and allied forces committed to the defense of democracy will join this call.”

Nearly Half of Tory Members Back Reform UK Merger as Pressure Heaped on Leadership Candidates

A new poll has revealed four in 10 Tory members would support a merger of the Conservative Party with Reform UK.

The poll has exposed division within the Conservative membership on the future of the party. Reduced Ukrainian Grain Imports Stabilize Polish Agricultural Market

The current state of the Polish grain market is being described as “stable” by domestic producers, largely due to a notable reduction in the influx of agricultural products from Ukraine.

This marks a significant change from a year ago, when an uncontrolled flood of Ukrainian goods sparked widespread farmer protests at the turn of 2023 and 2024.

According to Marcin Gryn, vice president of the Polish Association of Grain Plant Producers, Ukrainian grain imports have significantly decreased compared to the previous year. Polish producers have also regained ground in Western European markets, from which they were previously edged out by Ukrainian competition.

‘Deal With West Bank in Same Way as Gaza’, Says Israeli Foreign Minister

Israel should conduct its ongoing counter-terror operation in the West Bank in the “exact” same way as has been handled in Gaza, the Israeli foreign minister has said.

“We need to deal with the threat exactly as we deal with terror infrastructure in Gaza, including the temporary evacuation of Palestinian civilians and any other step needed,” Israel Katz said on Wednesday.

Israel’s senior diplomat then went on to describe the counter-terror operation as “a war in every sense”.

Mr Katz confirmed that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched raids in several West Bank cities, including Jenin and Tulkarem, in a bid to dismantle Iranian-backed terror groups.

At least nine Palestinians were killed in the first stage of the operation, which the IDF claimed were “armed terrorists”.

West Bank Explodes Overnight With Largest IDF Raid in Decades, ‘Evacuations’ Could be Next

The situation in the already restive and tense West Bank has exploded overnight, following major Israeli military raids into the Palestinian territory involving hundreds of IDF troops.

Three areas were targeted simultaneously in what is the largest security raid on the occupied West Bank in two decades. Even fighter jets provided support on the assault on Jenin, Tulkarem and Tubas — and drones and bulldozers were seen operating as well. The ongoing operation impacts an area of some 80,000 Palestinians total.

At least ten Palestinians have been killed, including three after a targeted drone strike on their vehicle.

Israel’s military has said that the nine deceased were “armed terrorists who posed a threat to security forces.” The IDF further said “wanted suspects” have been rounded up in in Jenin and Tulkarem, and that IEDs have been uncovered and dismantled.

Zelensky Pushes Peace Talks With Russia on Ukraine’s Terms

What was considered a taboo to suggest just a year ago—trying to find a diplomatic conclusion to the war in Ukraine rather than liberating all the occupied territories through military means—is now Kyiv’s main strategy, with a concrete plan already in place, President Zelensky announced on Tuesday, August 27th.

Zelensky said he is preparing to present his terms for peace negotiations with Russia to his main allies to ask for their support—including President Biden and both his potential successors, Donald Trump and Kamala Harris—but only as long as Western powers do not pressure Ukraine into accepting an unjust settlement to end the war sooner.

Talking at a press conference in Kyiv, the Ukrainian president revealed that his country’s ongoing offensive inside the Russian region of Kursk had been one of the core elements of his plan, meant to put Kyiv in a stronger position to negotiate from and increase internal pressure on the Kremlin, “forcing” Russia to end the war.

South Africa Halts Artillery Shells to Poland Over Fears They Will be Used Against Russia

South Africa has withheld the delivery of 155mm artillery shells to Poland, citing concerns that the munitions could be sent to Ukraine, according to Ezra Jele, head of the secretariat of the South African government body overseeing arms contracts. After two years of uncertainty, Poland has canceled the contract.

In early 2022, following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Poland, along with several non-NATO countries, placed an order for 55,000 Assegai artillery shells from Denel Munition, a South African company and subsidiary of German arms manufacturer Rheinmetall. At the time, Jan-Patrick Helmsen, managing director of Denel Munition, expressed pride in the deal, noting NATO’s continued trust in their globally recognized technology.

However, later that year, South Africa’s National Conventional Arms Control Committee (NCACC) halted the contract’s fulfillment. While export permits to Poland and other countries were not canceled, they were indefinitely suspended, with no clear timeline for resolution, according to Jele.

Amnesty for Illegal Migrants Could Add 44,000 to Britain’s Welfare Rolls: Report

Britain’s new Labour Party government’s plan to grant effective amnesty to illegal immigrants could see over 40,000 foreigners added to the country’s welfare rolls, an internal government impact assessment reportedly found.

An evaluation from the Home Office of Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s plans to end the “duty to remove” illegal migrants to offshore asylum processing centres in third-party countries like Rwanda or their homelands could add tens of thousands of welfare recipients, the Daily Mail reports.

While over 63,000 illegal migrants had been set for removal by the previous Tory government, Starmer’s administration is reportedly set to grant over 44,000 asylum, effectively giving the illegals amnesty to remain in the country and allowing them “full access” to welfare benefits in Britain.

For as far as the eye can see there is nothing but brown border fence, red dirt, low-lying desert shrubs and the occasional sweatshirt, water bottle or children’s toy. The trash is new and fresh footprints can be seen in the dust — people were just here.

This stretch of the Arizona border near a small hamlet called Sasabe is part of the Tucson Sector of Border Patrol’s map of operations, and it’s one of the busiest areas in the country for crossers not wanting to be caught.

Arizona cattle rancher John Ladd told DailyMail.com the situation at the border is not just bad, ‘this is the worst it’s ever been.’

“The Holy Father runs a sovereign state.”

Illegal Immigrant Pleads Guilty to Sexual Abuse of 7-Year-Old Girl in New York State

Carlos Fernando Pinola Pop, 41, of Kingston, NY has pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual abuse, the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office announced on Thursday. The illegal immigrant faces up to seven years in prison, being added to the sex offender registry, and deportation.

Pinola Pop pleaded guilty in an August 15 court hearing before Judge James Farrell to Sexual Abuse in the First Degree, a Class D violent felony sex offense. Sentencing is scheduled for October 10. The District Attorney’s office stated that Pinola Pop on September 25, 2023 “subjected a seven-year-old child to sexual contact with his hands and penis on her vagina.” The minor told her mother about the incident, who in turn informed a third-party community member. That community member contacted the police, and Pinola Pop was arrested on October 13 of that year. Pinola Pop admitted to the act to Kingston Police.

Italy Detains NGO Ship Geo Barents for 60 Days

Italian authorities have fined NGO Doctors Without Borders (MSF) €3,330 and detained its ship the Geo Barents for 60 days after it brought 191 migrants to Italy.

The vessel reached the port of Salerno on August 26 carrying migrants from Libya. It was then boarded by the Italian State Police, together with the military police force Guardia di Finanza and the local Port Authority.

As in previous cases, the NGO was accused of repeatedly having violated the Cutro decree (also known as the “Piantedosi law”) by not communicating with the Italian authorities regarding safety at sea during rescue operations.

Italy approved the Cutro decree, named after a deadly shipwreck in February 2023 in which more than 90 people died, to bring illegal migration down and try to ensure similar accidents would not happen.

Migrants Attempt to Board School Buses in East County

JAMUL, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Two school bus routes within the Jamul-Dulzura Union School District have been briefly interrupted over the last two days after migrants attempted to board them, according to district officials.

In an emailed notice to families obtained by FOX 5/KUSI, Superintendent Liz Bystedt said a group of migrants attempted to board along the district’s A and B school bus routes.

The first incident occurred along the Route A route near the intersection of Highway 94 and Cochera Via Tuesday afternoon. According to Bystedt, a group of three men were walking in the middle of the highway trying to stop one of the buses, prompting it to “go around” the group.

A Route B school bus Wednesday morning came upon a group of about 20 people as it was picking students up from the same stop, Bystedt said. Parents present at the site helped the bus driver ensure students were safe and that no one boarded the bus.

Netherlands: Coalition Parties Want to Send Asylum Seekers Back to Syria

The coalition parties want the government to investigate whether parts of Syria can be declared safe so that Syrian asylum seekers can be sent back. PVV leader Geert Wilders wants a debate on the topic next month and he is finding support in the other coalition parties, Trouw reports.

Wilders wants the Netherlands to declare Syria, or at least parts of the country, safe so that “the Netherlands will in principle no longer grant Syrians a residency permit.” Syrians form the largest group of asylum seekers in the Netherlands, and their applications are also granted most often.

Revealed: Serious Failures Let Solingen Attacker Stay in Germany

German authorities committed a series of failures prior to the terror attack in Solingen. They not only botched up the deportation of the Syrian man responsible for the brutal assault but also continued providing him with social benefits, despite him being a failed asylum seeker.

According to daily Bild, the knife attack committed by 26-year-old Issa al Hasan last Friday not only highlights the consequences of uncontrolled immigration but lifts the lid on the serious failures of Germany’s asylum and deportation system.

The tabloid called what happened the deportation scandal of the year.

‘The Immigration Crisis is First and Foremost a Crime Crisis’ — Police Union Boss Says Germany is No Longer Safe, Labels Islam the Biggest Threat

In what is increasingly becoming a PR disaster for the far-left German government, the terror knife attack in Solingen, perpetrated by a Syrian national, is highlighting the unavoidable connection between immigration and exploding crime and violence. In the wake of the attack, German police union (DPoIG) chairman Manuel Ostermann slammed the status quo, called the immigration problems a crime problem, and said Islam was the greatest threat to the country in terms of security.

“Yes, our country has changed. Nothing about it is positive. Germany is no longer a safe country. We have a massive problem with knife crime. The migration crisis is first and foremost a crime crisis. And the greatest danger to life and limb of people living in Germany is clearly posed by Islamists. This reality can no longer be ignored or tabooed. Now is the time to recognize reality and implement clear measures in the constitutional fight against precisely this security policy madness,” Ostermann said in a video statement.

Canadian Pastor Convicted of ‘Criminal Harassment’ After Opposing Drag Queen Story Hours

Calgary judge Karen Molle has proclaimed a Canadian pastor guilty of “criminal harassment” for protesting a “drag queen story time” for children that a city library was hosting early this year.

Pastor Derek Reimer, was also found guilty of breaching his bail conditions, which bar him from protesting any LGBTQ event. Supporters of one drag queen story hour actually threw Reimer to the ground when he opposed an event. A video of the apparent assault gained global attention.

“A judge found me guilty today of criminal harassment for expressing my opposition towards drag queen story hour to a library manager set on hosting the event. For posting the video of our interaction on Facebook, and saying we’ll be back (to protest) if the event continues,” Reimer told LifeSiteNews.

EU Commission Chief Pressures Countries to Drop Male Nominees for Top Jobs

EU Commission president Ursula von der Leyen is trying to strongarm several smaller member states into changing their commissioner nominations to women so that she can have the gender-balanced cabinet she vowed to set up. But disregarding countries’ sovereign choice for a PR stunt might not only affect her relationship with the capitals but also hurt any women in her administration, whose rightful place in Brussels could be questioned from now on.

The deadline for nominating members to the second von der Leyen Commission is just days away, and all but five countries have submitted nominations. However, many have chosen to ignore von der Leyen’s request to put forward two names this year—a man and a woman—so that she could come up with a mix of candidates that is at least 50% female.

Florida Can Enforce Ban on Puberty Blockers, Gender Surgeries for Children: Appeals Court

Authored by Bill Pan via The Epoch Times

A federal appeals court has allowed Florida to enforce a ban on hormone replacement therapy for children while the legal challenge against the ban proceeds.

In the Aug. 26 decision, a three-judge panel of the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals sided with Florida, reversing a district judge’s order that put the ban on hold while the matter is appealed. The court also approved expedited proceedings in the appeal.

“The district court itself recognized that there were ‘legitimate concerns’ about some of the treatments’ effects, as well as a ‘risk of misdiagnosis,’ ‘risks attendant to treatment,’ and the potential for ‘additional medical risks,’“ the panel’s 2—1 majority, Judges Britt Grant and Robert Luck, wrote in the unsigned opinion.

The defendants, including Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo and the Florida Board of Medicine, have made “a strong showing that they are likely to succeed on the merits,” the judges concluded.

At the center of the legal battle is a 2023 law that prohibits doctors and nurses from performing sex-reassignment surgeries or prescribing medication such as cross-sex hormones and puberty blockers to anyone under the age of 18, regardless of parental consent. Children who were already taking those medications when the law was passed may continue, but surgeries are no longer permitted.

Poland’s Restriction of Access to Abortion ‘Violates Human Rights’, Says UN

The United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) has stated that Poland is violating women’s rights by “unduly restricting access to abortion”.

In a report published on August 26, the committee concluded that the majority of women in Poland seeking abortions have been denied access to safe and legal abortion procedures.

“The situation in Poland constitutes gender-based violence against women and may amount to torture or cruel, inhuman, or degrading treatment,” said CEDAW Vice-Chair Genoveva Tisheva.

The report highlighted several issues regarding access to abortion across Poland.

Vermont Tells Parents to Call Children ‘Kids’ Because Son, Daughter Not ‘Inclusive’ Enough

The Vermont Department of Health (VDH) published public advice to families on Wednesday, encouraging parents to refer to their children as “kids” rather than “son” or “daughter,” alleging that these phrases are not “inclusive” enough.

The recommendation was included in a social media post regarding “inclusive language for families.” In addition, that post advocated for the use of the term “family members” rather than “household members” to encompass incarcerated individuals, step-siblings, and others who might not live in the house.

“The language we use matters!” the health agency wrote. “When talking about family, it’s important to use terms that cover the many versions of what family can look like.”

Salwan Momika is charged with incitement against a ethnic group

Published August 28, 2024 in Fria Tider

Today, charges were brought against Koran-burner Salwan Momika, 38, and his helper Salwan Najem, 49. They are accused of incitement against a group of people after four Koran-burnings in different places in Stockholm during the summer of 2023.

The two men are charged with four counts of incitement against a group of people after events that took place outside the mosque on Södermalm on June 28 and August 24, 2023, as well as events at Rinkebyplan and Benny Fredrikssons Torg on August 25 and 26, respectively, of the same year.

According to the indictment, the evidence consists for the most part of video recordings from the events.

    – They are both accused of having on these four occasions made statements and handled a Koran in a way that aimed to express disrespect towards Muslims because of their confession of faith. It is my opinion that the men’s statements and actions fall under the provision of incitement against a ethnic group, and it is important that the court is allowed to examine this issue, says senior prosecutor Anna Hankkio, who is the head of the preliminary investigation, in a statement.

Salwan Najem is also charged with subsidy offences.

“Salwan Najem has failed to report changed conditions that he is obliged to report according to law or regulation by not notifying the Social Insurance Agency that his ability to work has improved. He thereby caused the danger that sickness benefit and housing allowance would be wrongly paid out with a total of SEK 72,380 and SEK 28,355 respectively, which also happened,” the indictment states.

  2. I’ve followed your website for many years giving it all credits to what has been posted. But what has remained silent, is the other side of biased reporting, the side that administers, controls all global MSM, the world banking systems, the entertainment industry, the porn industry, the CEO’s of Big Pharma, the largest supporting lobby that continues flooding migrants across the southern US border, the same lobby group working under NGO umbrellas filling Europe with migrants since 2012, dual passport holders within the US senate and congress. I don’t even require mentioning who they are, because you probably already know who they are.

There are always two sides of conflict, some who deliberately support engaging both sides of those conflicts, who remain hidden in the shadows out of sight. They have used and still use their own ethnic populations as cow fodder. Doing comprehensive research through thousands of websites, looking for original data that hasn’t been altered, change, or manipulated, is painstaking, but required to understand how we got got here in this mess.

Even the American slave trade, of who was actually transporting, selling Negros isn’t discussed openly, because it involves the same people.

The EU has been under control of the same people, influenced, and paid off to do what their handlers have told them what to do, since its creation.

The upcoming CBDC global system is controlled by the same people….

As for the Religion, a topic that automatically triggers many, depending where they were born, what they were indoctrinated with has many dirty cobwebs no one wants to discuss. This is pointed at all books, the Koran, KJV 1611, Torah and especially the Babylonian Talmud.

The deception is so great, so unbelievable, the majority of Western nations have been deceived — all by design, by the same people. They are told not to question anything, self-censor, and remain quiet.

Until one actually has the courage of looking for truth, researching a ton of data, finding out who really has created all this chaos, they will remain blind and deaf, which has always been the main agenda goal plan.

    • Re your third para;

The Portuguese were the first Europeans to transport black slaves to the American colonies, and (at least initially) they did go on raiding parties and carry people off; indeed many more ended up in what became Brazil than what became the US (admittedly over a longer period).

However most of the victims were purchased at slave trading centres on the west coast of north Africa; many from black people of different tribes, especially in Nigeria, but the majority from arabs, who were at it before Europeans got involved.

Either way, if reparations are due to their descendants, then all of them should pay.

    • I wondered how long it would be before the waffle was completed and the real blame was placed: everything is the Jews fault! The truth is out there and available , on YouTube and in books, but you are not interested in the truth only in confirming your own [redacted] prejudices. You mention the Torah and Talmud, books that you have no idea what they are about, [insults redacted].

      • “You mention the Torah and Talmud, books that you have no idea what they are about, [insults redacted].”
Actually, for the record, I speak Hebrew when I lived in Israel, and probably have more insight than what you could ever handle — or believe. As for YouTube, if that’s where you get your information from, you’re a fool. Just like many others, like yourself have little to no knowledge beyond what you’ve been taught, told and educated with inside your circle. And that began from your first day at school. Do you really think historical records and data have never been altered, manipulated, destroyed, hidden, scrubbed, rewritten, or changed with added additions?
As for “everything is the Jews fault!”, has no bearing of what was mentioned, all that was said was “by the same people”. So who really are those people in question. Were they direct descendants from the bloodlines of old, or converts. The real question you need to ask yourself, is how far back can you go researching your own bloodline descendants? 200 years? 400 years? 1000 years? How about 2100 years?

        • Jews’ contribution to the arts, science, medicine has been out of all proportion to their numbers. Tiny Israel has four of the world’s top universities (whereas I believe only two arabs have Nobel prizes for anything).

          We should count our blessings!

    • “who really has created all this chaos”

      Two words (Biden-style): women.

“Regard the society of women as a necessary unpleasantness of life and avoid it as much as possible.” —Tolstoy

Repeal the 19th….and all that jazz.

    Is Sweden lost?

“Instead of prevention, they need to treat much more. Sweden is “permanently destroyed”

In an article in Berlingske the day before yesterday, Mads Fuglede makes some very gloomy predictions for Sweden.

He obviously knows Sweden better than most politicians, so the warning to Sweden’s neighbors is welcome. It is unusual to hear such truths from politicians.

Personally, I wish he had said this 23 years ago, when I and some others in Denmark did, but better late than never.

After all, it is safest to say it when it can no longer be denied. Demography is everything, and if we look at Sweden’s drastically changed demographics today, Mads Fuglede is probably right.

The deportation of millions of foreigners, which is needed to preserve a Swedish Sweden, “the politicians probably don’t have the appetite for”, as he says. “It’s too late,” as he says. What does he say, among other things?:

Since the bourgeois government took office with the support of the Sweden Democrats, one tightening after the other has been introduced in the area of immigration. And according to its Minister of Justice, Sweden must be a pioneering country when it comes to fighting gangs. But it’s too late. The Sweden we know and remember is forever lost…Sweden is “permanently destroyed”, as Mads Fuglede puts it.

Despite Minister of Justice Gunnar Strömmer’s big arm movements, Mads Fuglede does not believe that they are politically ready to do what is necessary to solve the problems. “I don’t think there is an appetite for it in Sweden,” he says over the phone.

“I love Falu sausage, Jansson’s temptation, Folkhemmet, Saab, ABBA, Emil fra Lønneberg, Anders Zorn, Astrid Lindgren, Pippi, the bright nights and
the Archipelago”, wrote Mads Fuglede in his column in 2018. Folkhemmet – the abstract concept that metaphorically characterizes the harmonious Swedish welfare society, where cohesion is high – can be pushed with a white stick today, according to Mads Fuglede.

“I’m afraid they won’t take the bull by the horns. But I hope they will make the hard decisions. Otherwise they will have to make even more drastic decisions later,” he says.

“We Danes were good at austerity for prevention. They didn’t do that in Sweden, so instead of prevention they have to treat much more. And that probably requires them to go even further down the road than was ever necessary in Denmark .

Six years ago he wrote that “Sweden is lost”. Today, Mads Fuglede sees no way back.

But thanks to Putin, our harsh region with its disgusting climate (a place of exile and a haven for escapists) has become a place of military action.
