Almost Half of Canadians Losing Sleep Over Financial Struggles: Poll

Almost half, 46%, of Canadians are losing sleep over worries about their financial situation, according to a recent poll issued by Ipsos. An almost equal 47% of respondents reported experiencing strain in personal relationships because of financial pressures.

The study, conducted among 1,150 Canadian adults between June 21 and 25, highlighted that Canadians are being forced to adapt in response to the economic challenges they face.

Over half of Canadians, 56%, said they have been dining out less, while 45% even shop at multiple grocery stores to find better deals. Additionally, 37% of respondents said they were purchasing cheaper and less healthy items at the grocery store. Almost a quarter, 23%, of Canadians reported eating less to save money.

Anti-Israel Agitators Hit Cornell University With Vandalism, Protests on Ivy League School’s 1st Day

Anti-Israel agitators defaced property at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, and held a massive protest on the first day of classes Monday, despite administrators’ efforts to prevent a repeat of the spring chaos.

Along the entrance of Day Hall on Monday morning, the messages “Israel bombs, Cornell pays” and “Blood is on your hands” were scrawled in red spray paint, and the door glass had been smashed.

“We are appalled by the graffiti spraypainted, and glass shattered overnight along the front entrance of Day Hall,” Cornell’s Vice President for University Relations Joel Malina said in a statement.

Appeals Court Turns Down RFK Jr. Bid for Injunction Against Google

Authored by Zachary Stieber via The Epoch Times

A federal appeals court on Aug. 26 declined to block Google from removing Robert F. Kennedy’s videos, ruling that Kennedy has not shown that the California-based company was a state actor when taking down the videos.

Kennedy’s lawyers said in a request for a preliminary injunction that Google was acting on advice from government officials when it removed multiple videos for allegedly violating the company’s medical misinformation policy. The lawyers requested an injunction blocking Google from removing additional videos from Kennedy’s YouTube page.

“Americans may agree with Mr. Kennedy’s views. They may disagree with them. They may vote for Kennedy or reject him at the ballot box. Whatever the case, our Constitution requires that voters have an unfettered chance to hear Mr. Kennedy speak. That is the only way they can make an educated decision when exercising their right to vote,” they said in their motion.

Google said it was merely applying its own policy and urged the court to deny the request.

U.S. District Judge Trina L. Thompson in 2023 sided with Google, finding that Kennedy had not established Google as a state actor and, therefore, rights from the U.S. Constitution’s First Amendment have not been implicated.

Vice President Kamala Harris has announced plans to sit for her very first interview since she announced the start of her campaign in July, and it will be a joint interview with her running mate Tim Walz on CNN. The interview with CNN’s Dana Bash will be on Thursday at 9 pm.

The vice president and Democrat Party presidential nominee has not sat for an interview since taking over at the top of the ticket for President Joe Biden. She had promised to get one on the schedule before the end of August, and Thursday will be August 29, just two days before the month comes to a close.

Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Laments Decline in Big Tech Collaboration Since 2016

Participants in the Democratic National Convention (DNC) were comfortable speaking publicly about what Congress is investigating as conduct that eventually (after the 2020 ballot) turned into government-Big Tech collusion.

And they are doing this by reminiscing about “the good old days” after the 2016 election when major social platforms panicked and got cowed into “working” with Democrats.

“Election integrity” is how supporters of the practice frame the concern that was and is being addressed as platforms have their “calls” with officials.

Democratic Lawmakers Urge FEC to Crack Down on AI Deepfakes Over Grok Backlash

A group of House Democrats urged the Federal Elections Commission (FEC) on Tuesday to crack down on artificial intelligence (AI) deepfakes, amid backlash over the social media platform X’s chatbot Grok.

X released the chatbot Grok-2 earlier this month with limited guardrails. The platform, and other AI platforms, have faced backlash after the AI circulated fake images of presidential candidates, including former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, online.

Deranged Left-Wing Conspiracy Theories That Trump Staged Assassination Attempt Are Racking Up Millions of Views

Over a month after the attempt on former president Donald Trump’s life, left-wing conspiracy theories claiming that the shooting was staged still pervade social media on platforms like X — where they are racking up millions of views.

Hashtags like “#Staged,” “#StagedbyTrump,” or “#StagedAssassinationAttempt” continue to see hundreds of deranged posts across social media daily — many of them posted by proudly anti-Trump and left-leaning accounts.

One anti-Trump poster asks simply “Who else thinks the Trump campaign staged this?” with a video of the aftermath of the shooting. It has 8.4 million views and more than 20,000 comments — most of them agreeing with the premise.

Establishment Voices Attack Telegram Over Free Speech Protections in Wake of Founder’s Arrest

Legacy media and some establishment figures are busy justifying the arrest of Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov, attacking the platform, but also making not-so-veiled threats aimed at other platform owners.

Ukrainian-born former member of the US National Security Council Alexander Vindman, who played a key role in the first impeachment trial of Donald Trump, took to X (calling it “Twitter”) — to warn the social site and its owner Elon Musk that there could be “broader implications” in the context of the Durov arrest.

Flight Attendants for Islamic Airline Hijackers

Karen Martin was the first of the flight attendants to be attacked by Islamic terrorists on September 11. While the head flight attendant on American Airlines Flight 11 lay bleeding after being stabbed, the rest of her team, Betty Ong and Amy Sweeney, remained collected and provided the first reports about the hijacking. By the time the 9/11 attacks were over, 25 flight attendants would be among the nearly 3,000 killed by Arab Muslim terrorists.

Airline passengers however recently noted the shocking images of some flight attendants wearing PLO pins. Islamic terrorists claiming to represent the cause of the Arab Muslim colonists in Israel who called themselves ‘Palestinians’ had innovated the practice of the mass hijacking of airplanes. There was a direct line between the Dawson’s Field hijacking of four airplanes in 1970 and the hijacking of four airplanes by Al Qaeda on September 11.

In 1970, a plane headed to New York City was hijacked by a terrorist holding a gun to a flight attendant’s head. While an Israeli steward helped end a hijacking attempt on one of the planes, the captured terrorists were traded in exchange for the hostages. And one of the terrorists, Leila Khaled, would go on to become a popular figure in the campus anti-Israel movement.

Flight attendants supporting Islamic terrorists would seem to be suicidal, but they’re not alone.

The Association of Flight Attendants CWA recently announced that it had joined other radical unions in bailing out Hamas by calling for an end to Israeli attacks on the Islamic terrorist group.

The AFA-CWA has taken to trying to ‘organize’ Delta workers into joining its radical union and has championed the wearing of PLO flag pins as a sign of what it can do for flight attendants.

When Delta reacted by banning any pins other than the American flag, an AFA-CWA video furiously blasted the airline for taking a stand for America and against support for terrorists.

The video claimed that opposing terrorist flag pins was “racist” and urged flight attendants to join the union which would protect them from “harassment” by passengers opposed to terrorism.

Other flight attendants wearing terrorist flag pins were seen on Spirit and JetBlue: whose flight attendants are represented by AFA-CWA. JetBlue was accused of “blatant antisemitism” after calling the police on a Jewish passenger after he objected to a terrorist flag pin.

The AFA-CWA may be ‘ground zero’ for the explosion of terrorist flag pins on planes.

Georgia Democrats, DNC Sue State Election Board, Warn New Rules Could Block Final Vote Certification

Georgia Democrats have sued the state Election Board, arguing new measures implemented by the agency regarding the election-certification process are illegal.

According to the lawsuit filed Monday in state court, local election officials are now able to “hunt for purported election irregularities of any kind, potentially delaying certification and displacing longstanding (and court-supervised) processes for addressing fraud.”

Local election officials, candidates for political office, the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Party of Georgia, are behind the lawsuit.

Government and Private Groups Still Unite to Target Election “Misinformation”

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) — a part of the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) — has been enlisting private entities to help achieve one of its goals.

According to CISA, it would be to combat election misinformation and secure “election infrastructure” — while according to critics, it is to continue with the mission of censoring lawful speech “disfavored” by the current authorities seeking to remain where they are after November — by hook or crook.

CISA doesn’t feel the need to hide this activity that has been taking place since 2018 through a program called the Election Infrastructure Subsector Coordinating Council (SCC). It is here that US government entities — federal, state, and local — meet private groups (“partners” as CISA calls them).

Jack Smith Files Revised Trump Indictment in J6 Case to Address Immunity Ruling

Special Counsel Jack Smith on Tuesday filed a superseding indictment against former President Donald Trump, changing some of the charges to better reflect the Supreme Court’s ruling on presidential immunity.

The Supreme Court ruled last month that presidents and former presidents are exempt from prosecution when it comes to core presidential actions, and presumptive immunity for other official acts. But the Supreme Court sent the January 6 case back to the lower courts to determine what actions constitute “official” acts.

The indictment dropped allegations that Trump attempted to pressure the U.S. Justice Department to overturn the results of the 2020 election, but still includes charges of conspiracy to defraud the U.S., conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding, and obstruction of an official proceeding, among others, according to Forbes.

Kidney Failure Deaths Skyrocket Among COVID-Vaxxed

One of America’s leading data experts has issued a bone-chilling warning to the public after uncovering evidence that deaths related to kidney failure have skyrocketed since Covid mRNA shots were unleashed.

The shocking phenomenon was exposed by renowned statistician John Beaudoin.

After analyzing official state government data for excess deaths, Beaudoin calculated that there have been 155,000 excess deaths caused by acute kidney injury (AKI) since late 2020 in the United States alone.

As Beaudoin explains in a new interview, excess death is the figure above the expected baseline, not the total, meaning an extra 155k Americans died from AKI.

Local non-profit media outlet Maryland Matters cited new data showing an increasing number of parents have opted their children out of vaccination requirements through non-medical religious exemption. The trend surged after draconian requirements pushed by an overreaching government during the Covid era.

A supermarket chain is banning unaccompanied minors inside select stores after 6 p.m. and large bags in Washington, DC, and Maryland as part of a new policy aimed at curbing rampant retail theft.

Giant Food confirmed to Fox News Digital in a statement on Monday that the chain’s revised policy will affect select stores “to mitigate the unprecedented levels of product theft” that has made business “unsustainable.”

“Retail theft in our market area affects everyone,” Giant Foods said in a statement. “It limits product availability, creates a less convenient shopping experience, and, most critically, puts our associates and customers in harm’s way.”

The chain’s new policy, which went into effect on Thursday, will affect all seven locations in DC, two in Baltimore and three in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

Could Austria Replace Poland in V4 Group?

Within a year or so, the geostrategic system in Central Europe could be restructured. The tasks of the now fractured Visegrad Four (V4) group — Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland — could be taken over by a different configuration, which could not only take on the role of a buffer zone between East and West, but could also set itself more ambitious goals.

Only two out of the three parties that initiated the formation of the Patriots for Europe group in the European Parliament belong to the V4 group: Hungary’s Fidesz and Czechia’s ANO, but not the Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ). This is bound to stir up even more the V4’s already unstable state of affairs. Another peculiarity of the “three” is that Fidesz is in government while the other two parties are in opposition.

In the latter two cases, however, there could be radical changes this autumn and next year.

France: Instagram’s Ban on Right-Wing Accounts Sparks Backlash

In recent days, Instagram launched a vast banning operation in France against accounts belonging to right-wing organisations or commentators. MEP Marion Maréchal decided to appeal to the management of Instagram France to express her disapproval and condemn the arbitrary nature of these account closures.

They were notified of the decision on Wednesday, August 21st. Several commentators and influential figures on the French right have had their Instagram accounts censored on the grounds that they did not comply with community standards, even though these accounts had not committed any legal offence. It is not only individuals identified as activists or whistleblowers on the national Right who have been targeted but also ordinary journalists, such as Jordan Florentin, a journalist from Boulevard Voltaire; trade unions, such as the student union La Cocarde étudiante; and even media outlets, such as our colleagues from Frontières (formerly Livre Noir).

France Extends Telegram Founder’s Arrest

Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov’s arrest was extended by a French court on Sunday, allowing him to remain in custody for a further 96 hours, after which a new court decision will be needed to keep him in custody.

The 39-year-old CEO was arrested on Saturday at an airport near Paris, saying Telegram provided a haven for fraud, drug trafficking, other organized crime, terrorist communications, and child pornography, among other things — despite similar phenomena being found on other social networking sites and Western authorities able to more easily put pressure on Meta, registered in the U.S., than Telegram, registered in the UAE.

The arrest of Durov has sparked mass outrage across social media, with numerous politicians, activists, and academics warning of a grave threat to freedom of speech.

Russian Drone Entered Polish Airspace, Say Military Sources

Poland’s Armed Forces Operational Command reported that an unidentified aerial object had entered Polish airspace on Monday morning, tracked by the country’s air defense systems.

“From the moment it entered Polish airspace, attempts were made to visually verify the object before considering neutralization. Unfortunately, due to prevailing weather conditions, we were unable to clearly identify it, preventing the decision to shoot it down,” stated the military communication.

IDF Rescues Hostage, Father of 11, in Daring Gaza Tunnel Raid

Israel’s military has announced another big breakthrough operation on Tuesday, after a small handful of prior hostage recoveries. An Israeli Bedouin man has been recovered alive after spending more than ten months in Hamas captivity.

52-year old Qaid Farhan Alkadi is a father of eleven and has been returned safely following a “complex mission” by Israeli commandos which took them deep underground.

Alkadi had been taken hostage on Oct.7 while working as a private security guard at Kibbutz Magen in southern Israel. Top US General: Near-Term Middle East War Risk Has Eased

The Pentagon’s senior-most uniformed official believes the threat of a larger war in the Middle East has decreased following Israel and Lebanon’s Hezbollah tit for tat earlier this week that resulted in no further strikes.

But Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Gen. C.Q. Brown told Reuters Monday that even with the lowered risk of conflict, Iran and its proxies are still a major risk as Tehran considers a strike on Israel.

Speaking to the outlet after a three-day trip to the Middle East that included a stop in Israel, Brown said the near-term danger of a regional war had declined “somewhat.”

“You had two things you knew were going to happen. One’s already happened. Now it depends on how the second is going to play out,” Brown told Reuters while leaving Israel.

Brown was referring to two major threatened attacks against Israel in recent weeks: Hezbollah’s strike and Iran’s pledge to attack the country over the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran last month.

“How Iran responds will dictate how Israel responds, which will dictate whether there is going to be a broader conflict or not,” he added.

Chinese EV Maker Aims to Build Cars in EU to Soften Tariffs

Leftist activists, including Antifa, have regularly targeted these crisis pregnancy centers. One of AFW’s clinics was vandalized in Chicago within hours after the DNC.

Via The College Fix

Civil rights activist told university to drop program or offer equal opportunities…

The University of California San Diego removed some information about its STEM program only open to female high school students following a federal civil rights complaint.

The physical sciences’ department page for “STEM Girl Summer” returns an “access denied” message.

However, the university still lists information on the program elsewhere, including in a social media post last week.

  1. “I absolutely believe Donald Trump and an enhanced security posture he should’ve had would’ve made him look more presidential, would’ve facilitated the logistical operation of him traveling….I think they [Secret Service management] were concerned about optics and making him look like a big shot, or whatever, and they were making some of these decisions purely on grade school-level politics.” —Dan Bongino (under oath), retired Secret Service (27 Aug 2024)

“I believe history will reveal that the attempted assassination of “Orange Hitler” on 13 July 2024 was due to a combination of incompetence and The Party’s ongoing “insurance policy”—to “get Trump!”, figuratively or literally—that resulted in an inherently [and intentionally!] “lackadaisical” attitude towards the protection of the former president.” —posted to fb (24 July 20224)

    Commie-toddlers’re as predicable as a well-regulated Rolex.

  2. Zelenskyy is a bully. He DEMANDS money from the U.S. and now from Great Britain.

He deserves nothing. He is a clown dictator.

The mystery of the Trump assassination attempt is increasing

    28/8-2024

Brand new Trump interview where he talks, among other things, about the attack, about the election and about “comrade” Kamala Harris, a Marist and globalist, whom the entire “bourgeois” Danish press is now cheering for.

It has just emerged that the FBI, tasked with investigating the circumstances surrounding the assassination attempt on the former president, has rushed to burn the body of suspected hapless assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks, erasing the physical traces on the roof. from where he allegedly fired several shots. One has to hope that they have secured all the projectiles, so you can see if more than one shot was fired.
But you can’t take anything for granted, because the more that is revealed, the more mysterious the assassination that almost killed Trump becomes.

Now it turns out that the local police in Pennsylvania had offered the Secret Service agents on site radio so they could communicate with the local population, but the offer was declined.
So did a drone provided by the local police, which would have been able to pinpoint Crook’s location on the roof within easy reach of the president.

And lest it be a lie, the Secret Service had given written notice before Trump’s rally that requests for more manpower would be denied.

In the US Congress, the Acting Director of the Secret Service, Ronald Rowe, has testified under oath that his agents on the ground were given all the manpower they asked for – which was technically correct, because of course no one asked for anything they knew. would be refused.

The Senate committee investigating the assassination has asked for any documents that might shed light on the course of events, but the Secret Service and the FBI have given the cold shoulder, handing over only parts of the documents, and that too in heavily redacted form.

If you didn’t believe so well in your fellow men and the American institutions, you would have concluded that the Secret Service had planned the attempt to get Trump out of the way – because after years of effort it had failed in any other way.
We must remember that in the Deep State and the Democratic Party, Trump is Hitler.

    Robert Kennedy Jr. and Tucker.
The other day, Trump could be heard presenting his partnership with Kennedy at a large rally in Arizona. The excitement is really worth hearing. So many are busy criticizing both of them for being “controlled opposition”. I do not find it proven, on the contrary, it is America’s great hope to get out of the nightmare the globalist-communist “Democratic Party” has placed the country in with the two puppets Biden and Harris. Not least an opportunity to stop the dangerous Ukrainian war against Russia before someone fires the first nuclear missile.

Will the deep state try to have Kennedy or Trump assassinated once again? Of course.
Former Trump employee Dr. Alexander writes: Was it a warning shot against Trump?
Yes, it was a warning shot, IMO was not meant to KILL YET, but the evil deep state & I argue within our own government, WILL try to kill him again! The hand of GOD intervened.

In the audio file, you can hear how the shooting was carried out with two weapons.

    1. three shots
    2. > 5 shots

Is it credible that a person collapsed after being shot in the ear, immediately afterwards, bleeding profusely, gets up and triumphantly waves his hand – any next shot could be fatal.
