German Economic Output Plummets, Debt Hits Record High

Germany’s economy appears to be teetering, with experts painting a bleak picture over the coming months right into the autumn state elections, all while debt levels have hit a new record high. Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s promised “green economic miracle” appears to be falling to the wayside, and there may be political consequences for the ruling left-liberal government.

German economic output unexpectedly dropped by 0.1 percent in the second quarter of 2024, compared to the first quarter of the year, while gross national product also fell 0.1 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the Federal Statistical Office.

Hungary Hit by Disappointing Q2 Economic Data, Will Need Strong Second Half to Meet 2024 GDP Estimates

Hungary’s economy contracted by 0.2 percent in Q2 versus the previous quarter, while GDP grew by 1.5 percent year-over-year. Analysts polled by Portfolio had expected 0.5 percent and 2.3 percent growth, respectively, meaning data came in well below expectations.

After the first quarter saw growth of 0.7 percent on a quarterly basis, analysts believed the Hungarian economy had emerged from its recessionary stagnation and household consumption would rebound. Although consumers did spend in some segments, overall growth is nowhere near expectations.

“Hundreds” of Cars Stolen and Robbed Each Year From Seattle Airport “Park-n-Fly” Lots

‘Hundreds’ of cars are being stolen from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport every year, investigators from KING NBC 5 have found.

Car thieves frequently target hotel and motel lots offering “park-n-fly” or “stay-n-fly” packages. Data reviewed by KING NBC 5 shows that some of the most well-known lodging names have the highest crime rates, leaving customers liable.

According to public records, the airport Marriott tops the list for crimes at hotel and “park-n-fly” lots. Data from the King County Sheriff’s Office shows 94 car thefts and prowls in 2023, including 27 stolen vehicles. In 2022, there were 74 reported incidents, according to KING NBC 5.

The US Army’s multi-million dollar deal with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and the United Football League, a professional American football minor league that Johnson owns, to gain new recruits has reportedly failed. The Army may even seek to recoup some of the monetary losses from the deal.

The $11 million deal likely didn’t lead to any new Army recruits, and may have actually had a negative impact on recruiting, internal documents and emails seen by Military.com revealed.

Biden Administration Unveils Next Steps in Student Loan Forgiveness for 25 Million Borrowers

The Department of Education announced on Wednesday that it would be contacting 25 million student loan borrowers to inform them about next steps they can take to pay down their debt.

The new plan comes after the Biden administration already helped relieve the financial burden for nearly five million borrowers in one of the earlier phases.

The administration said that the final rules on the latest forgiveness plan will be announced in the fall, but that they are notifying borrowers in advance so they can opt out of the plan by Aug. 30.

Chilling New Video Shows Thomas Crooks Moving Across Roof Before Trump Assassination Attempt

Chilling footage taken by one of the victims gravely wounded in the Trump assassination attempt captured a figure dashing across the AGR International roof outside the rally grounds just moments before shooting erupted.

The footage, taken by James Copenhaver at 6:08 p.m. on July 13 — minutes before bullets started flying at 6:11 p.m. — captured what appeared to be gunman Thomas Crooks running along the rooftop outside the rally grounds, in clear view of former President Donald Trump on stage.

Disinformation Board Chief Sued Fox News for Alleging She Was Pro-Censorship. a Judge Agreed With Fox News.

America’s attempt to set up what critics called the “Ministry of Truth” failed miserably last year when the Disinformation Governance Board was quickly set up as an advisory to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) — and then quickly dissolved, under massive public pushback.

The Board’s head was Nina Jankowicz, whose role some of those same critics, among politicians and media among them, summed up as “misinformation czar.”

Let’s say that this is a kind way of saying, “censorship czar.” But, reporting to this effect still personally offended Jankowicz enough to file a defamation lawsuit against Fox News.

And now, a federal judge has dismissed that suit.

F-16 Drops Fuel Tanks During Emergency in Central Michigan, One of Which Explodes

An F-16 from the Ohio Air National Guard was able to land safely in Toledo after it had to drop two fuel tanks, one of which exploded and the other landed in a retail parking lot in central Michigan near Oscoda, the Iosco County Sheriff’s Office said.

The sheriff’s office received a report around 1:15 p.m. of an explosion in the area of Baldwin Resort Road near Lake Huron in Iosco. The F-16, from Toledo’s 180th Fighter Squadron, was one of two operating in the area Wednesday. The plane had an emergency and and dumped two full external fuel tanks, according to a news release.

One landed in Lake Huron north of Baldwin Resort Road and exploded, and the other landed in the Baldwin Plaza retail parking lot, which includes a Tractor Supply and Save-a-Lot. The tank caused minor damage to a few vehicles, the sheriff’s office said, but no bystanders were injured. The U.S. Coast Guard found what was likely part of the other tank in Lake Huron.

Oscoda Airport originally received a distress call from the aircraft, but did not receive any further calls. The two F-16s returned safely to Toledo, according to the news release.

Georgia Chick-fil-A Delivery Driver Fights Off Masked, Gun-Wielding Robber in Dramatic Video

A Georgia Chick-fil-A employee fought for his life against a gun-wielding burglar who broke into the store and threatened to kill him, dramatic footage of the brawl shows.

The delivery driver was alone inside the Stone Mountain fast food joint when the 51-year-old suspect, Tommie Lee Williams, used a rock to smash through the drive-thru window at around 4:30 a.m. on July 1, according to the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office.

Williams — who wore a mask over his head — stormed into the kitchen area and told the victim “he was going to die if he didn’t open the safe and pointed a handgun at him” — but the employee did not know the combination of the safe, police said.

Georgia Democrats Warm to Ditching Voting Machines: ‘Bad Guys’ Are ‘Interfering With Them’

Democrats in Georgia are warming to calls for ditching the state’s electronic voting machines, according to a new report.

The U-turn on the controversial voting systems is a stunning concession that is sure to infuriate Democrats nationwide.

Since the 2020 election, Democrats have mostly opposed any efforts to ensure that only legal votes are cast.

However, Georgia Democrats are now backing calls from the state’s Republicans to replace Dominion Voting Systems machines with paper ballots.

GOP-Led House Intervenes on Bannon’s J6 Legal Case, Making Good on Speaker Johnson’s Promise

The GOP-led House has quietly filed a rare intervention in Steve Bannon’s contempt of Congress case, arguing the Democrat-led House January 6 Select Committee failed in its formation to follow chamber rules — invalidating the two subpoenas it served Bannon that he ignore and ultimately put him behind bars.

The House brief argues the select committee was improperly constituted and that neither then-Democratic Speaker Nancy Pelosi nor the committee leadership followed the directives of House Resolution 503, which established the committee.

The Amicus Curiae brief filed by the House General Counsel nine days ago fulfills a promise from Speaker Mike Johnson in June to intervene in the case.

Infant Deaths Surge to Record High Since Vax Rollout

Official data from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has revealed that infant mortality rates have now soared to a record high.

Newly released CDC data shows that death rates for American babies spiked massively in 2022.

The surge marks the first jump in infant mortality rates in twenty years.

The surge in deaths for children under the age of 1 started in 2022, the year after Covid mRNA shots were rolled out for public use.

In June 2022, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) expanded the approval for Covid mRNA injection to be used on babies and toddlers aged 6 months to 5 years old.

James Carville Warns VP Harris is ‘Gonna Get Slaughtered’ by the GOP, Needs to Prepare: ‘I’m Not Cocky’

Democratic strategist James Carville warned that Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign will need to learn to “defend and attack at the same time” as Republicans update their campaign strategy.

When President Biden stepped aside under pressure from his own party earlier this month, Harris rapidly ascended to become the presumptive nominee. Harris has since enjoyed a honeymoon period from her party and from some in the media, but Carville warned Democrats the honeymoon will come to an end. Carville warned Democrats that while the GOP was initially caught off-guard, this will be no easy victory for her campaign as Republicans adapt.

Kamala’s Crime Wave

In 2008, the Bologna family was murdered by an illegal alien MS-13 gang member.

San Francisco DA Kamala Harris refused to ask for the death penalty despite pleas from the widow because of, in her words, a “complicated analysis that involved many issues”. But the real issue was that Kamala protected criminals instead of victims.

Four years earlier, DA Kamala Harris had refused to impose the death penalty on the violent thug who gunned down Officer Isaac Espinoza with an AK-47. His widow blasted Kamala for not even talking to her before denying her husband justice “I felt like she had just taken something from us. She had just taken justice from us. From Isaac. She was only thinking of herself.”

“She never called,” her sister-in-law said. “There was no consideration for Renata, my niece, my parents, me, or the officers. It was as if she didn’t care.”

David Hill, Officer Espinoza’s murderer, however thanked Kamala. “It took a lot of courage,” he told CNN. “I’m forever grateful.”

Because there were people Kamala did care about. Criminals.

A year before the Bologna murders, Alexander Izaguirre was enrolled in ‘Back on Track’: a Kamala program to expunge felony convictions for criminals in exchange for attending some classes. Izaguirre, who had already mugged another woman, was picked for the program by Kamala. Even while he was enrolled in the program, the illegal alien thug mugged another woman, and then rammed her with a car, fracturing her skull. That woman, once a liberal, has become a Trump supporter after her experience.

But Kamala’s most enduring legacy was writing misleading descriptions for pro-crime ballot initiatives, including Proposition 47, which legalized shoplifting and set off a crime wave.

L.A. Officials Reject Newsom Order to Clear Out Homeless Encampments

Via Headline USA

Los Angeles officials are pushing back on California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s order this month to start clearing homeless encampments, arguing the effort to clean up the city’s streets won’t work.

“I do not believe that it is ultimately a solution to homelessness,” said Democrat Mayor Karen Bass, according to the Denver Gazette.

“How are they supposed to pay for their ticket, and what happens when they don’t pay?” she continued. “Does it go into a warrant and give us an excuse to incarcerate somebody?”

Los Angeles County Supervisors Chair Lindsey Horvath agreed with Bass, calling the order to clear out homeless camps “unconscionable.” The solution to homelessness is not “arrest,” she insisted. “It is not pushing people from community to community.”

Horvath also accused Newsom of setting a troubling precedent.

Lawmakers Slam Biden Admin Plea Deal That Spares Death Penalty for 9/11 Mastermind and Two Accomplices: ‘National Disgrace’

Congressional lawmakers slammed a plea deal reached Wednesday that will spare the accused 9/11 mastermind and two alleged accomplices from death, calling it a “national disgrace” and a “total miscarriage of justice.”

“The Biden-Harris Administration’s weakness in the face of sworn enemies of the American people apparently knows no bounds,” Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said in a statement.

“The plea deal with terrorists — including Khalid Sheik Mohammed, the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks that killed thousands of Americans — is a revolting abdication of the government’s responsibility to defend America and provide justice,” the Kentucky Republican argued, noting that “The only thing worse than negotiating with terrorists is negotiating with them after they are in custody.”

Minnesota Man Gets 20 Years for Fatally Stabbing Teen, Wounding Others on Wisconsin River

HUDSON, Wis. (AP) — A Minnesota man convicted in the slaying of a high school student and stabbings of four other people who were tubing on a western Wisconsin river was sentenced Wednesday to 20 years in prison.

A judge also ordered Nicolae Miu, 54, to serve six years of extended supervision following his release from prison in the July 2022 stabbings along the Apple River in St. Croix County, which sits along Wisconsin’s state line with Minnesota.

A jury convicted Miu, of Prior Lake, Minnesota, in April of first-degree reckless homicide, four counts of first-degree recklessly endangering safety and one count of battery.

Prosecutors had sought a 70-year prison term for Miu in the stabbing attack that killed Isaac Schuman, 17, of Stillwater, Minnesota, and wounded four others. The stabbing took place as Miu and the victims were tubing along the Apple River in separate groups.

Missouri AG Andrew Bailey Advocates for Tech-State Separation Criticizes, Big Tech Censorship Influence

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey wants First Amendment free speech protections to be bolstered and believes that the separation of Tech and State ( creating a “wall of separation” between them) is in order.

This is to make sure government censorship is efficiently prevented going forward, he suggested.

Bailey sat down with journalist Tim Pool, and went through a litany of other issues plaguing political and social democratic processes, most clearly visible in what critics of the current White House consider to be the government colluding with social media companies to suppress lawful speech.

Most Voters Believe Kamala Harris Covered-Up Biden’s Health Issues, Poll Shows

The majority of American voters say they believe Kamala Harris was part of a cover-up to keep Democrat President Joe Biden’s health issues hidden from the public, a new poll has revealed.

According to a new survey by YouGov and the Times of London, a majority of all voters, 54%, said they believed there was a cover-up of Biden’s declining health.

92 percent of the voters who believed there was a cover-up of Biden’s health say that Vice President Harris was at least partly to blame.

They agreed that Biden’s degraded mental and physical state was made evident during the June presidential debate against President Donald Trump.

68% of that 54% said they blamed Harris “a great deal” for the cover-up.

Senate Passes Kids’ “Safety” Bills Despite Privacy, Digital ID, and Censorship Concerns

Two bills combined — the Kids Online Safety Act (KOSA) and the Children and Teens’ Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA 2.0)— have passed in the US Senate in a 91-3 vote, and will now be considered by the House.

Criticism of the bills focuses mainly on the likelihood that, if and when they become law, they will help expand online digital ID verification, as well as around issues like censorship (removal and blocking of content).

The effort to make KOSA and COPA 2.0 happen was spearheaded by a parent group that was pushing lawmakers and tech companies’ executives to move in this direction, and their main demand was to enact new rules that would prevent cyberbullying and other harms.

Top JFK Assassination Researcher: ‘Something is Fishy, ‘ Secret Service Covering Up Info on Trump Attack

Investigative journalist Gerald Posner — whose deeply researched studies of the murders of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. made him a preeminent authority on political assassinations — says he can understand why so many people think there’s “something fishy” about the official story of the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump.

Noting the belated admission by the Secret Service that Trump’s security team was denied requested resources before the July 13 assassination attempt, Posner asks, “Did they refuse to give Trump extra security for a two-year period?” They were almost creating a situation in which somebody could take a shot. Now I’m not saying that’s the case, but I understand why that speculation would be there.”

The former president returned to Pennsylvania just 17 days later after the historic assassination attempt as he looked to woo voters in the battleground state.

If Trump had not turned his head to look at an immigration chart on the screen at his Butler rally, it’s likely the bullet would have gone into his head rather than graze his ear.

Trump: ‘Someone Convinced’ Kamala Harris to Drop ‘Laugh of a Crazy Person’

President Donald Trump has said he believes “someone” has finally “convinced” VP Kamala Harris to drop her “crazy laugh.”

Trump said during an interview this week with Fox News host Laura Ingraham.

He said Harris’s campaign, the Democrats, and their allies in the corporate media are trying to rebrand the vice president now that she’s running for POTUS.

Trump said Harris’s advisors must have told her to get rid of “the laugh of a crazy person” because of how it makes her look to voters.

Trump Blasts Kamala Over Border Invasion, Identity Politics in Epic Appearance at Black Journalists Conference in Chicago

At the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) convention in Chicago Wednesday, former President Donald Trump was asked if he believes Vice President Kamala Harris is on the Democratic ticket solely because she is a black woman. This question came in response to many Republicans referring to Harris as a “DEI hire.” Trump also criticized Harris’ role as “border czar,” saying she’s “the worst” in the history of the world.

“Is that acceptable language to you and will you tell those Republicans and those reporters to stop it?” a journalist asked, referring to Harris being labeled a “DEI hire.”

Trump first asked the journalist to define DEI. After the journalist explained it stood for “diversity, equity, and inclusion,” but failed to provide a more in-depth definition, Trump continued his response by criticizing Harris for how she chose to identify herself. Trump explained that he has indirectly known Harris for some time and suggested she previously identified more with her Indian heritage rather than her black heritage.

US Arrests a Former Green Beret Over the Failed 2020 Raid Into Venezuela to Remove Maduro

CARACAS, Venezuela (AP) — A former U.S. Green Beret who in 2020 organized a failed cross-border raid of Venezuelan army deserters to remove President Nicolas Maduro has been arrested in New York on federal arms smuggling charges.

A federal indictment unsealed this week in Tampa, Florida, accuses Jordan Goudreau and a Venezuelan partner, Yacsy Alvarez, of violating U.S. arms control laws when they allegedly assembled and sent to Colombia AR-styled weapons, ammunition, silencers, night vision goggles and other defense equipment requiring a U.S. export license.

Goudreau, 48, also was charged with conspiracy, smuggling goods from the United States and unlawful possession of a machine gun, among 14 counts. Goudreau appeared in federal court following his Tuesday arrest in Manhattan but it was not clear a day later whether he would be released from custody pending trial. He was being held at a federal detention center in Brooklyn.

Video From Trump Assassination Attempt Victim’s PoV Shows Figure Moving on Roof Moments Before Gunfire

EXCLUSIVE: PITTSBURGH — A video from James Copenhaver, one of the victims critically wounded in the July 13 assassination attempt against former President Trump, shows a figure moving across the roof of the American Glass Research (AGR) building just minutes before gunfire rang out at Trump’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

In the video taken at 6:08 p.m. on July 13, the person appears on the roof of the building adjacent to where Trump is speaking and can be seen walking from the 1:00 second mark to about the 2:50 second mark.

Officials believe gunman Thomas Crooks, 20, began shooting with a collapsible AR-15-style rifle three minutes later, around 6:11 p.m. Counter snipers fatally shot Crooks shortly afterward, and law enforcement officials found eight shell casings near his body.

In his attempt to assassinate the former president, Crooks killed 50-year-old Corey Comperatore, a husband, father and former fire chief at the Buffalo Township Volunteer Fire Department. Crooks also critically wounded Copenhaver, 74, and David Dutch, 57. Both victims were shot twice, according to those familiar with both victims.

Copenhaver was not filming when he was shot, said his lawyer, Joseph Feldman at the Law Offices of Max C. Feldman. Feldman said Copenhaver stopped filming when everyone turned their heads to look at a projection screen.

EU Regulators Seek to Formalize “Disinformation Code” Under Censorship Law

In the wake of the EU elections, those at the helm of the bloc are working to make the already contentious Digital Services Act (DSA) — which critics say is a sweeping censorship law — even more controversial.

Namely, EU regulators now want to make what was previously a set of “voluntary” guidelines implemented by online platforms — the Code of Practice on Disinformation — a formal part of the DSA.

This is the stance taken by the Digital Services Board, which just issued a report that now wants that “voluntary code” to be “swiftly converted” so that it becomes subject to the DSA. The Board consists of coordinators from the EU’s nation-states.

The report said their demand to bring the Code under the DSA umbrella is supported by the EU Commission (EC).

The opposition is not standing down in Venezuela even as the repression comes hard and fast from the regime of president Nicolas Maduro.

Maduro claimed victory in Sunday’s elections, but the opposition led by Maria Corina Machado and Eduardo Gonzalez Urrurtia has also claimed victory. Internationally, the EU has called for an independent count of the votes, and governments from Argentina to the U.S. are questioning the results put forward by Maduro.

Even the Carter Center, invited by Maduro to observe the elections, has not recognized his victory nor have governments with leaders usually friendly and ideologically aligned with Maduro, such as Chile.

3,000 Illegal Boat Migrants Land in Britain Since Labour Took Power

According to a tally from GB News, which had producers counting boat migrants as they were brought ashore, at least 133 illegals reached British shores on Tuesday.

Austrian Minister for the EU Aims for Geneva Convention Changes Over ‘Migration Crisis’

Karoline Edtstadler, Austrian Minister for the EU and the Constitution, has said she wants to adapt the Geneva Convention to the Status of Refugees of 1951 to fight rising migration to Europe from poorer parts of the world. Austria is facing a migration crisis that is heavily influencing public sentiment ahead of general elections in September.

In a July 27 interview with Austrian media outlet Der Standard, Edtstadler advocated for moving asylum procedures out of the European Union and into third countries.

To this end, the Geneva Convention of 1951— which, she said, dated from “pre-globalised times” without “transcontinental migration movements”, should be “further developed” to meet the demands of current times.

Edtstadler told Brussels Signal she wanted to see change in two areas.

Court Overturns Order to Remove Texas’ Rio Grande Barrier

Authored by Caden Pearsen via The Epoch Times

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit on Tuesday overturned a lower court’s decision requiring Texas to relocate a 1,000-foot floating barrier in the Rio Grande, installed to prevent illegal border crossings.

The Fifth Circuit found that the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas had abused its discretion when it ordered Texas to relocate the buoys from the river last summer.

Tuesday’s ruling permits the barrier system to temporarily remain in the river until a trial is held.

The Justice Department sued Texas after the buoys were placed in the river in July 2023, alleging that the barrier was unlawful. The district court had previously granted a preliminary injunction directing Texas to move the barrier to the riverbank.

Gov. Greg Abbott (R-Texas) appealed the ruling unsuccessfully, with a three-judge panel upholding the district court’s decision in a 2-1 opinion. But the full court later heard the case en banc, vacating the panel’s opinion and blocking the injunction pending appeal.

On Tuesday, Circuit Judge Don R. Willett, joined by eight other judges, found that the district court had abused its discretion in issuing the preliminary injunction.

EU Agency for Fundamental Rights Blast Bloc’s Border Policies

The European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) has published a report heavily criticising the EU’s border policies.

According to the document published by the independent body on July 30, the EU has failed to rescue and assist migrants in distress.

The report also claims there were incidents of maltreatment, abuse and other life-threatening human-rights violations at the EU’s land and sea borders that have not been properly investigated.

German Catholic Diocese Calls for Migrant-Rescue Boat Funders

The German Roman Catholic Diocese of Trier has called for sponsorship for a new sea-rescue ship for the pro-migrant aid organisation Sea Eye.

“Sea rescue is a Christian and humanitarian duty,” the Vicar General of Trier, in the ecclesiastical province of Cologne, told Domradio.

“I have personally got to know this rescue organisation and consider the commitment to be convincing and absolutely right,” stated the diocese’s Vicar General, Ulrich Graf von Plettenberg, on July 30.

“With our support, we would also like to send a clear signal against Europe’s isolationist policy, which is propagated above all by right-wing parties,” he said.

It’s the End of the Line for Eric Adams’ ‘Unconstitutional’ NYC Migrant Bus Suit, Judge Rules

It’s the end of the line for Mayor Eric Adams’ $700 million lawsuit against bus companies that have hauled more than 33,000 migrants to the Big Apple, according to a Manhattan judge who denied the city’s request for a preliminary injunction and called the case “dubious at best.”

The suit, filed in January against 17 bus companies that ferried folks from Texas to New York City, was deemed “unconstitutional” by Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Mary Rosado.

“This is a plain attempt to regulate the transportation of indigent persons from State to State in violation of the Interstate Commerce Clause,” the Monday decision reads.

[Comment: Interesting ruling.]

Migrant Shelter Moves Into Former NYC College Dorm Near Ritzy Riverdale Prep School: ‘Neighborhood Will be Destroyed’

A new migrant shelter will open next month at a former college dorm building in the Bronx’s swanky Riverdale section — angering some local residents who fear the “neighborhood will be destroyed.”

The city is putting the finishing touches on the shelter at 435 West 238th St. — a stone’s throw away from the $63,500-per-year Ethical Culture Fieldston School — which is set to open sometime in August, according to City Council Member Eric Dinowitz.

The building, previously used as off-campus Manhattan College housing, will house 95 migrant families, according to City Hall.

As furniture was being moved inside the facility on Wednesday local residents fumed over the soon-to-be shelter.

Migrants Would be Paid Less Benefits Than German Citizens Under Two-Tier System — With Social Payments Cut for Those Who Refuse Work — Under Proposals by Lawmakers

Migrants should receive less benefits than German citizens, the country’s Christian Democratic Union opposition party has said, as it calls for a two-tier system through which foreigners who refuse to work will have their allowance cut.

Senior CDU MP Alexander Dobrindt has called for the two-tier system under which the rate of Buergergeld, also known as citizen’s allowance, paid to migrants would be cut compared to that of German passport holders.

‘There must be a new social benefits system for asylum seekers that pays out less than the citizen’s allowance,’ he said.

Nearly 1 in 20 of All Syrians Now Lives in Germany, Over Half Receive Welfare

Ever since the 2015/16 migrant crisis, Syrians have arrived in Germany in ever-increasing numbers, and now number at least 972,000 at the end of 2023, according to Statista. There are 22 million Syrians living in Syria itself, meaning those in Germany represent nearly 1 for every 20 in their native country.

This is extremely rapid growth since 2014 when there were only 60,000 Syrians in Germany. Since then, the population has grown 16-fold.

New Barbed Wire Wall Fails to Cut Off Dangerous Route Into US Used by 500,000 Migrants Last Year

A newly-installed barbed-wire fencing at the Darien Gap has failed to keep migrants from crossing from South America into Panama in their way to the US, according to several reports.

Panamanian president José Raúl Mulino gave the order to block the dangerous jungle crossing after more than 500,000 people passed through it last year in their journey to the US.

Panama’s border police have erected about three miles of barbed wire to block some trails and funnel migrants to a single reception point.

Obese Olympic ‘Christ’ Threatens to Sue Critics Over ‘Last Supper’ Backlash

Authored by Jonathan Turley

Barbara Butch, the LGBTQ activist who was the center figure in the controversial “Last Supper” Paris Olympic scene is threatening to sue those criticizing her. Butch played the role viewed by many as a spoof on Christ in the Last Supper. The creators insist that they were going for a type of “pagan party” of Olympic gods and sent a message of tolerance. Art experts have supported the creators and pointed to paintings that inspired the pagan motif. That is not exactly what was seen by millions of Christians who were deeply insulted by the parody. The question is not the intent of the creators, but the intent of critics in denouncing the display and its participants.

The threat of legal action would not be especially serious in the United States where opinion is given robust protection in both criminal and civil cases. In France, however, free speech is in a free fall with the left pushing for the censorship and criminalization of ever-expanding range of political and religious speech.

Polish Conservative Leader Condemns Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony as ‘Moral Decay of Western Elites’

The opening ceremony of the Olympics in Paris on Friday evening was marred by controversial and bizarre elements, including mockery of the victims of the French Revolution, references to LGBT ideology, and a parody of the Last Supper. The event has sparked a wave of critical commentary, not only in Poland but also even from far-left French politician Jean-Luc Mélenchon.

Polish conservative leader Jaroslaw Kaczynski, speaking at a press conference, described the Paris opening as an “unprecedented scandal” and a “vivid illustration of the sad and increasingly advanced process of the moral and political decay of Western elites, including French elites.”

He warned that this decay threatens the future of what he called “the most benevolent civilization in the history of the world, a civilization friendly to man, the Christian civilization.”

  1. Ok – so the organizers of the olymics in Paris thought olymic atletes will eat vegan food?

    That’s a joke of a day 🙂

I have to give one thing to the Paris olymics – they are faithful and steadfast in the cause.

    • “so the organizers of the olymics in Paris thought olymic atletes will eat vegan food? That’s a joke of a day”

      Joke? Why?

Although I’m not vegan, I’ve been a vegetarian most of my life (I’m in my late 60s, in “excellent health” (medic’s comment from January’s yearly check-up) and have no medical issues).

If you think there’s something inherently weak about herbivores, check with a few elephants, rhinos or gorillas—all herbivores.
      https://www.forbes.com/sites/quora/2016/05/09/the-single-reason-the-biggest-animals-are-herbivores/

      • I happen to have been growing up around olypic class sportsmen, and one thing I remember very vividly is how much meat they would eat.

This is nothing against vegans or anything, but I have yet to see a vegan olympic swimmer, or runner, or anyone?

Is there anyone eating vegan – among the sportsmen at the olypmics?

        • “Is there anyone eating vegan – among the sportsmen at the olypmics?”

I reckon you’re just not looking hard enough..

“I’m physically in better shape than I’ve ever been, and I’m more successful than ever right now, and my plant-based programme has played such a big role in that.” —Lewis Hamilton, F1 race winner

“It is now becoming common knowledge that athletes don’t need animal protein to build and maintain muscle. As a consequence, plant-based diets in the sporting industry are rising in popularity and vegan athletes can be found in almost every discipline. From football stars to tennis pros, more and more….are going plant-based to fuel their sporting success. Keep reading to learn about the vegan athletes proving the myths about vegans and protein wrong!”

“You may be surprised to hear that many Olympians at the top of their game have credited their sporting success to adopting a plant-based diet.”

          Just sayin’..

        • “I happen to have been growing up around olypic class sportsmen, and one thing I remember very vividly is how much meat they would eat.”

I’m not a mind-reader, but I ‘spect that’s because, like you, we’ve all essentially been raised on meat-based diets; and told, by “the experts”, that humans NEED meat to survive and/or remain healthy. Alotta this probably comes from our prehistoric ancestors NOT having the knowledge or tools to farm and/or grow sufficient veggies to sustain early populations. Much easier to trap/kill animals with sharpened bits of stone than to craft farm tools outta them. And you know what they say about the path of least resistance…

Anyroads, like so many things, as we gain more [empirical] knowledge, we find that many of our sacred cows were actually just wooden saw-horses wearing cow costumes (of our own making!); and the more aware amoungst us tend to act quickly as these long-held assumptions’re revealed to’ve been mistakes.

          But I could be wrong..

the truth is – some run on meat, others on plants, most people mix both. It looks like there are olympic medalists who eat pasta and pizza every day just like there are those who weight every gram of their diet.

I am of the opinion that human body can change its energy intake from different fuels.

The “meat” itself is problematic because it is esentially a sacrifice of living flesh – dead meat goes bad quickly – and also today, most of the cheap meat in the supermarkets is grown by animals that don’t move, and have to be medicated just to survive to make it to the slaughter.

Strictly “kosher” speaking – most of the meat out there is not kosher.

That is – I believe – one of the reasons why also it is good to avoid meat. Vaccinated salmon grown in a barrell is not particularly the pinnacle of cuisine.

Nevertheless, I myself have tried it also, not eating meat, and I found out it’s not for me. And I don’t even eat meat that often, once or twice a week, but I need it to be “happy” if you will. I need it to work. Like coffee.

Maybe because my metabolism is set in its ways, or maybe I come from a carnivore family? 🙂

  2. I applaud the genius of the British government. The English Defence League does not exist. Therefore banning it is a master stroke. Snuffing out something which does not exist is perfect for a politician. It gives the impression of doing something, without having to do anything.

The EDL used to exist. Tommy Robinson founded it because he was sick of muslims harassing white girls in Luton. But the state made sure the EDL could not be run. Like the Proud Boys, I expect a good percentage of its members were government agents. So Tommy wound it up, and now pursues a valid and effective career as a journalist, much to the disgust of the British establishment.

This same establishment now ascribes to the nonexistent EDL the riots which have broken out in England. But these riots are not coordinated. They are inchoate expressions of rage at the murder of three small girls by the son of Rwandan asylum claimants, just the latest in a long line of terror crimes against the British people by migrants and asylum claimers. The governing establishment allows huge numbers of undocumented asylum seekers into Britain, yet finds the white British people to be offensive when they notice the truth, that they are being attacked and killed by these people whom they do not want in their country.

The Chief Constable of Merseyside tried to gaslight the people that the latest murderer was just a lad from Cardiff. As if he was your average Welshman. They have tried this trick once too often now. People see through it. They have taken their rage on to the streets. This was always going to happen. The establishment will try to suppress this righteous anger, but they will fail. The Labour government has abandoned the Rwanda settlement scheme for migrants, and plans to give settled status to 90,000 undocumented migrants. More will come, It will be a long hot summer.

    • Well, not quite. Tommy Robinson quit the EDL because he didn’t like the antisemitism of many members. This is entirely consistent with his current group’s having black and south Asian members. It’s not about “race”, but belief systems.

    • I think they are trying to fabricate a loose semantic relationship with things to put him in prison. He is arrested under counter terrorism powers. EDL is banned. The EDL may get classified as a terrorist entity even though it doesn’t exit. Antifa doesn’t exist – its an idea. They can go either way. I keep seeing old footage of him when in the EDL even from some supportive people – I’ve never seen them before. So if they charge him for terrorism because he won’t unlock his phone (they probably can get in anyway) so he can be put in jail or so he can be shown to betray victims of grooming gangs that have spoken to him, so those names can be released, they win in a way unless something else happens.

  3. The Islamic Republic of Iran has hundreds of military bases, installation, ammunition depots around Damascus (Isaiah 17.1) and along the Golan Heights but the upside down world condemns Israel for actions that increase fears of a major regional conflict in the Middle East. Iran’s Hizb’allah east of Lebanon’s Tyre just sent their rocket into northern Israel that killed Druze children playing at a soccer field.

They’ve been launchingl barrages of rockets into Israel on a daily-weekly basis and yet Hizb’allah and Iran, who chants death to Israel and America every day are never accused of increasing the fear of creating a major regional conflict. A fact I find disgustingly abhorrent, pathetic. But goes well with the current politically correct narrative of blaming the victim.

“Come,” they say, “let’s destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.” ~ Psalm 83.4

This is the Psalm 83 war Iran’s proxies began on October 7, 2023 that will result in the total annihilation of Damascus for the reasons I’ve just written about. What will then follow is the Ezekiel 38 Magog war that results in the capitulation of the western nations, including the U.S.; why? Because Magog is actually Ukraine, and those nations with it are all NATO nations.

“I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in false security in the Islands and Coastlands, and they will know that I am YEHOVAH.” ~ Ezekiel 39.6

. . . just in case there’s anyone out there who still listens to the Word of God. You’ve been warned (Ezekiel 33.6).

    • without going any deeper into it just now…

I remember that the nations listed in the Gog and Magog invasion of Israel are predominantly the Muslim nations – Turkey, Persia, Lybia…

The way I always understood it was that Gog and Magog is Russia and Turkey

Who is going to have the most powerful army in the world if NATO countries collapse?

      Russia and Turkey.

      Both of them predominantly muslim.

I’m just saying – it’s not gonna be “the Europeans” – who will invade Israel using nuclear weapons 😉

      • Will you also interpret something from afar and not when it’s right in front of you too? You’re using older traditional church interpretations instead of using the benefit of what you see before you. Luke 12.56, Matthew 16.3, Romans 12.2.

All of the nations being listed in Ezekiel 38 have migrated into the western nations of the EU, UK, US. It is these same nations using Ukraine as their proxy. Magog, the ancient Scythians whose ethnic heritage now lies in Ukraine.

The Bible, as the Word of God in Ezekiel doesn’t stipulate Muslim people. It describes ethnicities from their ancient ancestors. It describes people, and not specific lands where they live since groups migrate to different lands from century to century. If anyone were paying attention they’d go outside their homes and see , , , now inside their nations.

“I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel.” ~ Ezekiel 39.2 . . . Rus is a regional term meaning people of the north. The Kievan Rus lie directly north of Israel, Jerusalem, and Kiev, as you know, is the capital of Ukraine. This verse will be authenticated as Georgia, Armenia, Turkey all lie within the northern mountains of Israel and are also being prepared for entry as vassal states to the European Union.

“Then I will strike your bow from your left hand and make your arrows drop from your right hand.” ~ Ezekiel 39.3 . . . Ukraine has now had four NATO trained and supplied armies raised up and then completely annihilated since 2021. This verse is authenticated and will become completed.

” . . . you will fall, you and all your troops and the nations with you. I will give you as food to all kinds of carrion birds and to the wild animals. You will fall in the open field . . . ” ~ Ezekiel 39.4-5 . . . the nations “with” you are the EU, UK, US, all filled with those foreign nationals described taking part with their proxy Magog (Ukraine). Even now they leave their fallen troops on the battlefield to rot away on the open fields of the Ukrainian steppe lands. About one brigade every day now.

I will send fire on Magog and on those who live in false security in the isles and coastlands, and they will know that I am Yehovah.” ~ Ezekiel 39.6 . . . and who are the ones who live in false security even as the arm and fund Ukrainians to fight and die for them? Europe is a veritable peninsula of (EU) coastlands and islands (UK) that even include America’s eastern coastlands where DC resides in and commands the NATO armies and their governments.

My God man! Pay attention! Stop quoting the past and recognize what is about to happen right in front of you! This I respectively submit for your perusal, and I understand from where you’ve gotten your perspective from. But it just isn’t relevant anymore to the situation and orientation of the battlefield of 2024.

        • I am no expert but how can you connect Gog and Magog with the EU? When their chief allies listed in Ezekiel 38 are Persia (Iran), Ethiopia (subsaharan Africa), Lybia (North Africa)?

Gog and Magog themselves being identified in Turkey and “Ukraine” – which I say Russia but I agree Ukraine – i.e. Kievan Rus – that general area.

Now – to the most important part of my argument: Gog and Magog, and their allies, must come up against Israel – before they are destroyed and turned back. How is the EU and Ukraine any threat against Israel?

But Russia – an ally of Assad in Syria… Turkey upset about Palestine…

What is the most likely coalition today, to perform an invasion of Israel, and break their teeth on it? Like Gog and Magog should?

          Or am I wrong?

          • The “coalition” right now is NATO (EU,UK,US). That can morph into anything. Ezekiel 38, 39 are describing the ethnic makeup of the people who will be destroyed with Magog. I see those ethnicities in the EU, UK, US right now. A veritable Ukraine-NATO alliance.

You read about these specific ethnicities at Gates of Vienna daily. This is the theme here is it not? Of a foreign force of specific ethnicities invading Europa? Where are the millions of military age males from Gog, of the land of Magog (Ukraine), Meshek, Tubal, Cush, Put, Gomer, Beth Togarmah. now? A third of the population of Ukraine have fled to the EU. All of these others are in the EU, UK, and US. Or am I wrong?

At the same time we’re reading about how Ukraine no longer has men to replace those dead from their NATO fed war against Russia. They all come from the ‘uttermost’ north. The Kievan-Rus along with their “allies”. Who are Ukraines allies right now? The EU, UK, US. Why have those specific people been led to those uttermost northern lands?

Yet you don’t seem to see this? Because of dogma and tradition? Then read Matthew 16.2-3 and ponder about why they didn’t see their Messiah when he was standing before them. Read Matthew 24.37-39 and ponder about the normalcy bias of those days. People will always believe the academics of their institutions before they believe what their own eyes are seeing.

Persia (Iran) has already began their war against Israel when they sent missiles, drones from Iran on April 14, 2024. Damascus lies at the foot of the mountains which begin north of the Jezreel Valley that Megiddo resides within. The Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38 war are one after the other. You already see the hatred for Israel and Jews rising to new levels as it fights against its’ genocidal enemies.

If you don’t think the leaders of the EU, UK, US won’t utilize that maniacal hatred of Israel to fill its’ current deficit in military fighting men in Ukraine then just wait a few days and see that likelihood become more probable. “I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army” ~ Ezekiel 38.4

“He replied, “When evening comes, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red,’ and in the morning, ‘Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast.’ You know how to interpret the appearance of the sky, but you cannot interpret the signs of the times.” ~Matthew 16.2-3

          • One thing – why I will not spend an extra effort arguing with you is your talking to me like you got all the truth:

“Yet you don’t seem to see this? Because of dogma and tradition?”

I told you my reasons, yet you blame dogma and tradition which to me says – you don’t listen what I say…

You have not adressed my objection that the allies of magog are predominantly islamic nations today, you have dismissed my point about gog and magog attacking israel.

Maniacal hatred of Israel is certainly not the modus operandi of the EU, USA, NATO, Etc…

Long story short – In my humble opinion – you did not show any good argument whatsoever all I remember from this is you, instead of arguing a point, accusing me of following some dogma – which is rather ironic when the only one following “dogma” in this thread – is you 🙂

  4. The claim that the Olympic “Last Supper” was a play on Greek mythology and pagan ritual is specious. When something looks exactly like the Last Supper, it’s the Last Supper. Everything is fluid with the some people, be it “gender,” or history, or religious belief. This is what happens when the thinking brain becomes unhinged from reality, and believes things that simply are not true. It must be something in the French water.

    • “Everything is fluid with the some people….This is what happens when the thinking brain becomes unhinged from reality, and believes things that simply are not true. It must be something in the French water.”

Nah, it’s just indicative of a matriarchy (see “Zardoz”).

    • I don’t like his argument that conversation with women is feelings bound, while with men it’s all rational. Bunkum.

But, on the other hand, I think that pushing women into public life and the dog eat dog employment world was a huge mistake. The pressure and the… unsuitability to women’s psyche has pushed a lot of women toward bad choices, misery and even madness.

      • I don’t like it neither but that’s the common experience. Women do communicate based on feelings which drives logical men crazy…

Needless to say – some men can be logical beyond reason and this drives the emotional women crazy as well.

Saying that – both men and women can overcome their inherent “sex” and become reasonable in all endeavors of thought, but there are some basic “animalistic” settings that have to be overcome first.

      • “I don’t like his argument that conversation with women is feelings bound, while with men it’s all rational. Bunkum.”

Of course, in an absolute sense, you’re absolutely correct.

But, in practice, I think it’s safe to say that MOST (not all!) womens’ PRIMARY [biological] drive is to bear children; menz’ primary drive is to do/make things to keep our womiz safe so they can continue the species!

A dollar bill vs silver dollar: unequivocally, different; but absolutely equal in value.

  5. Congratulations to Israel for taking out the trash! The US should have assassinated the Hezbollah leader a long time ago . He was responsible for the killing of 241 Americans in the 80’s and recently 12 children playing soccer in Israel. The Hamas leader has ordered countless terrorist attacks in Israel over the years and authorized the October 7 massacre. He rejoiced in the atrocities while living in luxury abroad, skimming millions from the Palestinians and happily allowing them to be used as human shields.
