Banks Prepare for ‘Economic Nuclear Winter’ Senior Banking Analyst Warns of EU Apocalypse

A series of political shocks — including Britain’s vote to leave the EU — have led to fears the entire Union could crumble, the currency could collapse and economic nightmares could become a reality.

Now it has been revealed this kind of “economic nuclear winter situation” is being prepared for by major banks.

Weak corporate earnings, a banking crisis, and the Brexit vote have sparked disaster planning for the worst case scenarios in the second half of the year.

A major lender told CNBC: “This could mean triggering Article 50, a referendum in other European nations leading to a break-up of the euro or sterling hitting below $1.20 or lower.

“The banks are ready for anything now.”

After the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union in June, there have been talks a similar referendum may be held in France, the Netherlands and other countries.

Wake up America — it’s Time to Eliminate the ‘Pusher’

Central banks can only do one thing, and that’ s provide monetary welfare for the wealthy.

The fact that central banks provide welfare for the wealthy is now entering the mainstream. The fact that all central bank policies since 2008 have dramatically increased wealth and income inequality is now grudgingly being accepted as reality by mainstream economists and the financial media.

The central banks’ PR facade of noble omniscience on behalf of the great unwashed masses has cracked wide open. Even The Wall Street Journal is publishing critiques of Federal Reserve policies that suggest the Fed has no idea how the U.S. economy actually works because their policies have failed to help the bottom 95%.

The grudging admission that central bank policies have enriched the rich while failing to benefit the bottom 95% is a breakthrough — the stone wall of denial has finally been pierced. The mainstream media and the Establishment have resolutely clung to the self-serving fantasy that the Federal Reserve 1) knows what’ s it’ s doing and 2) is boosting a “recovery” that will soon achieve self-sustaining “escape velocity” — that is, the economy will generate its own growth and the Fed can dial back its zero-interest rate policy and all its other unprecedented monetary easing measures.

But like a strung-out junkie that needs ever-stronger injections of smack just to stay alive, the U.S. economy is now totally and completely dependent on central bank heroin to keep from crashing. Rather then wean the economy of central bank largesse, the Fed has made the entire economy dependent on zero interest rates, central bank asset purchases and quantitative easing.

Array of Things Allow Chicago to Spy on Entire City: “Wake Up and Realize We’re Just Servants”

Chicago is launching a creepy new campaign to blanket the mega-city in more surveillance through its Array of Things, creating a network of (at least) 500 sensors devices that will be shared in a growing Big Data cloud.

As The Chicago Tribune reports:

The first of a network of data-collecting sensors that could one day blanket Chicago are now live.

The city installed two nodes containing computers and sensors including low-resolution cameras as well as air quality sensors last week. They went up on traffic light poles at Damen and Archer avenues in the McKinley Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side and Damen and Cermak Road in the Heart of Chicago on the Lower West Side. The installation marks the launch of the Array of Things project, which was conceived in 2012 and originally slated to start in mid-2014.

The project is a collaboration between the University of Chicago, Argonne National Laboratory and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. AT&T is the internet provider for the project, which is backed by a $3.1 million grant from the National Science Foundation.

The selling point is that many of the sensors will collect data about air quality and monitor traffic patterns for public safety.

But in reality, Chicago is a failing, gang-infested and corrupt city that epitomizes the collapse of America. These sensors, and the thousands of other surveillance cameras and input devices are erecting an electronic concentration camp inside the nation’s most chaotic and unruly areas.

Brittanee Drexel: Kidnapped, Raped, Shot and Fed to Alligators

[WARNING: Disturbing Content.]

Brittanee Drexel: Kidnapped, Raped, Shot and Fed to Alligators Editor’s Note: Brittanee Drexel was 17 years old. She was a product of Marxist anti-White brainwashing that told her to always trust blacks no matter what the situation, no matter what her gut feeling is, or it’s racist. She was told it’s cool and open minded to party with “diverse” friends, listen to gangster rap and twerk like the skanks on MTV. She was told to be a feminist and encouraged to be free sexually and if she doesn’t have sex with blacks, it’s racist.

Hillary Clinton said, “I mean, if we’re honest, for a lot of well-meaning, open-minded white people, the sight of a young black man in a hoodie still evokes a twinge of fear.” It sure does. These instincts have not arisen from nowhere. They’re based on the reality of black violence and rampant black on White crime.

A new report says a 17-year-old missing New York State girl may have been gang raped and then thrown in an alligator pit after disappearing during spring break.

Brittanee Drexel was last seen in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she had gone on spring break without her parents’ knowledge.

Her family had thought she was at a beach in New York State instead. Brittany had gone to Myrtle Beach with three friends, even though her mother had previously warned her that she something might happen to her if she did.

For years, family and friends have maintained hope that they would learn what happened to the teenager.

An FBI agent provided the new account in court; it stems from an inmate’s story to police about what he says happened to Drexel in 2009.

Here’s what you need to know:…

Cass Sunstein Lets Carbon Tax Cat Out of the Bag

On August 8 the 7th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals denied petitions to review the Department of Energy’s final rules pertaining to energy efficiency standards in commercial refrigeration equipment. The petitioners (a small business and two trade associations) had levied objections against both the process and the outcome of DOE’s rulemaking. The court denied the petitions and ruled that DOE’s use of the “social cost of carbon” as a tool in federal cost/benefit analysis was neither “arbitrary nor capricious.”

Now we at IER have been writing for years about the dubious “social cost of carbon”; for example you can read our in-depth Comment submitted to the Office of Management and Budget. Over the next few weeks, we will have many things to say about the recent court ruling. However, in the present article I want to keep things simple and focus on a Bloomberg reaction written by Cass Sunstein, who was overjoyed at the court ruling.

I will demonstrate to any open-minded reader that the American public has indeed been grossly misled on the issue of a carbon tax…and I will use nothing but Sunstein’s own statements. If even a huge fan of the court ruling unwittingly shows just how outrageous it was, then that is a slam dunk in the case against the “social cost of carbon” as a guide to federal policy.

[Comment: 7th circus court of appeals should be abolished.]

DHS Prepares for Nuke Attack With Massive Order for Radiation Detectors: ‘To Ensure Nuclear Devices Aren’t Secretly Being Transported in Public Areas’

Earlier this year we reported that Texas game wardens on the southern border have been issued radiation detectors due to concerns that a nuclear or radiological device could be smuggled into the United States through the porous Mexican border.

It appears that the Department of Homeland Security is also taking the potential for a nuclear-based weapon of mass destruction seriously. According to a new report from NextGov the government has ordered some $20 million worth of wearable intelligent nuclear detection (WIND) units in an effort to boost domestic security:

Last year, DHS made a broad agency announcement soliciting proposals for so-called Wearable Intelligent Nuclear Detection, or WIND, technology. Employees would wear the products to ensure nuclear devices weren’t secretly being transported in areas like marine vessels, metro systems, or other public areas, according to DHS.

Dozens of Hillary Clinton Emails About Benghazi Found in 15,000 Messages She Kept From FBI

WASHINGTON (AP) — The State Department says about 30 emails that may be related to the 2012 attack on U.S. compounds in Benghazi, Libya, are among the thousands of Hillary Clinton emails recovered during the FBI’s recently closed investigation into her use of a private server.

Government lawyers told U.S. District Court Judge Amit P. Mehta Tuesday that an undetermined number of the emails among the 30 were not included in the 55,000 pages previously provided by Clinton. The State Department’s lawyer said it would need until the end of September to review the emails and redact potentially classified information before they are released.

Mehta questioned why it would take so long to release so few documents, and urged that the process be sped up. He ordered the department to report to him in a week with more details about why the review process would take a full month.

Emails Shed Light on Abedin Involvement in Foundation Work — and Aides’ Frustration With Clinton

Newly released State Department emails shed light on top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin’s close dealings with Clinton Foundation matters while she was working at the State Department — as well as aides’ frustration with their boss’s email practices.

Emails obtained by Fox News show how Abedin used her State Department email address to deal with issues relating to a Clinton Global Initiative event. In an email dated Sept. 16, 2009, Abedin was forwarded an email chain about how campaign donor Geri Shapiro first accepted an invitation to an event, but then declined when she discovered that her husband was not allowed to attend.

Hillary is Smoking Trump in the Funding War: “She Has a Virtually Unlimited Amount of Cash”

It is literally amazing how an individual so crooked, so duplicitous, and with so many chargeable offenses can actually stay in the running for the presidency of the United States.

Mac Slavo recently penned a piece on the $32-million-dollar donation from the Prince of Bahrain to Hillary Clinton (indirectly), via the Clinton Foundation. The battle for the presidency is won with the bank account, and Clinton is leaving Trump behind in the starting gates. Just in the month of July, Clinton raised $90 million for her campaign.

$90 million.

Now her new television ad campaign, coincidentally, is running her a cool $80 million. She has a virtually unlimited amount of cash to throw into this election, and remember the beauty of it all…anything she takes in at this point, she keeps, whether she wins the election or not, and it’s not taxable income. She’s operating in the green, and it’s all going to be profit at this point.

There is a list of donors to Hillary Clinton that is circulating on the internet. Among these (and these are ones that are known, mind you) are such notables as Chelsea Handler, the comedienne, donating $100,000. There’s nothing funny about that. Peter Angelos, owner of the Baltimore Orioles, giving Clinton $500,000. The Tulalip [Indian] Tribe of Washington, $125,000. The list has individuals, unions, PAC’s…a “smattering” of virtually every demographic.

There’s a Muslim fanatic by the name of Kase Lukman Lawal of Nigeria, an oil billionaire with known operations and ties to known and well-established terrorist individuals and organizations, such as Bosco Ntaganda and Al Shabaab respectively. This Lawal bundled more than $100,000 for Clinton for her 2008 run. She returned the favor when she was Secretary of State by blocking any charges of association with known terrorists from reaching him, charges that could have meant 20 years on a conviction. Ready for the punch-line?

This guy is living in Houston and is a Commissioner for the Port Authority of Houston.

You can read more about it in an article dated July 28, 2016 by IWB entitled HIGH TREASON: Hillary Sells Arms to Qatar, Transfers 20% of US Uranium Production To Russia, Sides With BLM Over Land Grab, Receives TONS of Money from Nigerian Terrorist Billionaire.

Major Cities All Over America Have Become Infested With Opioid Addicts and Extremely Violent Gangs

Violence and drugs are flooding the streets of our major cities, but those that live in cushy suburban neighborhoods may not have heard much about this because the mainstream media is so obsessed with covering Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. As you will see below, drug overdose deaths involving heroin and prescription opioid pain relievers have soared to unprecedented levels, and in some areas of the country health authorities are finding themselves absolutely overwhelmed by overdose cases this summer. Law enforcement officials are doing what they can to combat this epidemic, but because Barack Obama has left our borders wide open the gangs are able to transport these dangerous drugs into this country with ease. As a result, we are facing a crisis on a level that we haven’ t seen since at least the 1980s.

Let’ s start with some hard numbers. The following comes from the official CDC website…

New Black Panther Leader Destroys Democrat Politicians: “We’re Being Pimped Like Prostitutes and They’re the Big Pimps Pimping US Politically”

It seems that Donald Trump’s recent speech urging black Americans to vote for him because of failing Clinton and Obama policies has not fallen on deaf ears.

African Americans, who have for decades voted en masse for democrat party candidates to the tune of 90% support or more, have finally realized that just because a politician says he or she is going to do something doesn’t mean it will actually happen.

We’re sure you remember Obama’s promises of free health care, free education, more jobs and better communities. That not even the first black American President was able to improve the lives of minorities may have finally woken some people up.

The following interview with New Black Panther Quanell X requires no further commentary — he breaks it down quite succinctly:

Let me say this to the brothers and sisters who listened and watched that speech… We may not like the vessel [Donald Trump] that said what he said, but I ask us to truly examine what he said.

Because it is a fact that for 54 years we have been voting for the Democratic Party like no other race in America. And they have not given us the same loyalty and love that we have given them. We, as black people, have to reexamine the relationship. We’re being pimped like prostitutes and they’re the big pimps pimping us politically… promising us everything and we get nothing in return. We gotta step back now as black people and we gotta look at all the parties and vote our best interests…

I want to say and encourage the brothers and sisters… Barack Obama, our president, served two terms… the first black president ever… but did our condition get better? Did financially, politically, academically with education in our community… did things get better? Are our young people working more?

The condition got worse.

Poll: Virginia Politician Jailed in Sex Case Leads Mayoral Race

RICHMOND, Va. — A flamboyant former Virginia lawmaker who was jailed in a sex scandal involving a 17-year-old girl is the current front-runner in the crowded race for Richmond mayor, a new poll shows.

The poll from Christopher Newport University says Joseph Morrissey has support from 28 per cent of the city’s voters, putting him far ahead of seven other candidates.

Morrissey holds a large advantage in three of the city’s nine precincts. He must win a majority in five of them to avoid a runoff election.

CNU professor Quentin Kidd said the real contest looks to be for second place behind Morrissey if he fails to win the election outright, setting up a runoff election.

Other candidates include Jack Berry, who runs an economic development organization, and Levar Stoney, the former Virginia secretary of the commonwealth who has close ties to Gov. Terry McAuliffe.

Morrissey has long been one of the most colorful politicians in Virginia. Last year he spent his days at the General Assembly last year and his nights in jail after he entered an Alford plea to a misdemeanour for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. In an Alford plea, a defendant acknowledges there is sufficient evidence for a conviction but doesn’t admit guilt.

Morrissey later married the woman, and they have two children…

Veterans Affairs Quietly Bans the Confederate Flag at Cemeteries it Runs

The Veterans Affairs Department quietly moved this month to ban flying of Confederate flags from fixed flagpoles at the cemeteries it runs, striking yet another blow against the controversial emblem.

Congress had debated and rejected that change, but the Obama administration decided to move forward anyway, saying it was unilaterally imposing the restrictions.

[“The Battle flag of the Confederacy represents Honor, Courage, and Fidelity; but those are not the reasons it must be suppressed, nor an oblique association with racism, slavery, or “hate” (if those were legitimate concerns then the Democrat Party would have been banned long ago). The dangerous aspect for politicians is that it symbolizes the idea that taking up arms against tyranny is not illegitimate. It is the living, tangible, symbol of the 9th and 10th Amendments; the two that made the U.S. a Federal Republic and the two that must be neglected to death.”

Personally, if I had an ancestor in a National Cemetery, I would be looking for the means to disinter and move them to a place of respect.]

Angela Merkel Under Fire as Support for Political Coup in Germany Grow

Rumours are growing that Mr Seehofer and the CSU may put forward another name as leader of the two party’s alliance ahead of next year’s election — or even break-away completely.

Ms Merkel herself has done little to quell these rumours, saying: “I will comment on that at the appropriate time. I’m sticking to that.”

This controversy comes at a time the Chancellor’s approval ratings in Germany continue to drop, with a majority of Germans now opposing Mrs Merkel taking power for another four-year term.

According to a poll by Emnid, 50 per cent of people opposed Mrs Merkel serving another term beyond the 2017 election. Just 42 per cent want her to remain.

Apple Ordered to Repay a Record €13 Billion to Ireland

The EU Commission has ordered US tech firm Apple to repay up to €13 billion, plus interest, of unpaid taxes to Ireland.

The EU executive decided that tax rulings from Irish authorities in 1997 and 2011 gave Apple “an undue advantage that is illegal under EU state aid rules”.

“It’s not a penalty, it’s unpaid taxes,” EU competition commissioner Margrethe Vestager said at a press conference.

She said the commission’s decision was a “clear message to member states that they cannot give unfair tax benefits to selected companies”.

Apple Tax: Downing Street Says Tech Giant ‘Welcome’ To Come to UK After EU Orders Ireland to Claw Back £11bn

Britain could cut corporation tax to attract major international companies under plans being considered by Theresa May after Apple was hit with a record tax bill by Brussels.

Downing Street yesterday said it would “welcome” Apple to the UK after the European Commission took the extraordinary step of hitting the company with an £11billion fine.

In a damning report published yesterday, the commission found that a deal with Ireland meant the technology giant paid as little as 0.005 per cent tax on its European profits for more than a decade.

The current rate of corporation tax in Ireland is 12.5 per cent. Tim Cook, Apple’s chief executive, accused the European Union of trying to re-write history and said that the decision represents a “devastating blow to the sovereignty of EU member states”.

He said that the decision will have a “profound and harmful effect” on investment and jobs in the European Union.

Around 15% of Austrian swing voters are still undecided about who they will support in the presidential election re-run taking place in October.

France wants the EU to stop its negotiations with the US for a free-trade agreement.

“What France is demanding is the pure, simple and definitive halt of these negotiations,” French trade minister Matthias Fekl said on Tuesday (30 August).

Switzerland: Anti-Racism Official: ‘Burka Ban’ Is Excuse to Attack Islam

A rightwing-backed initiative seeking to ban any face-covering headgear in Switzerland is a pretext to attack Islam, according to the president of the Federal Commission against Racism, Martine Brunschwig Graf.

The president of the national anti-racism committee said the issue is interesting and deserves proper debate, including on the issue of Islam in Switzerland. But the problem, she added, is that the current discussion simply acts as a sounding board for politicians and there is no room for nuance.

“We have already experienced this situation with the anti-minaret initiative,” she declared.

She said confusion made between religion and terrorism should be rejected, as it can lead to discrimination and the situation getting out of hand.

Pacific Grim: Australia Torn Between US and China

In a recent Australian-made TV political thriller called Secret City, a cyber-attack paralyses the country’s air traffic control system. Authorities immediately (and incorrectly) point the finger at Chinese hackers.

It’s a storyline that’s telling about Australia’s attitude to Asia’s pre-eminent power. On the one hand, China is the country’s biggest trading partner, but it also poses a potential regional military threat that’s drawing the attention of the US, Australia’s closest defence ally.

China, for its part, appears keenly aware of Australia’s apparent reluctance to embrace it fully. In recent months, a series of bilateral irritations have sent relations between the two countries plunging to their lowest point for nearly a decade.

China has rebuked Australia for opposing its military build-up in the South China Sea. Australia has blocked Chinese investment bids, ostensibly on national security grounds. A Chinese newspaper denounced Australia as a “paper cat that won’t last”.

France Promises to Work With UK on Calais Border Threat After Amber Rudd Talks

Animosity has been growing with president of the Calais region, Xavier Bertrand, also warning France could scrap the agreement unless Theresa May agrees to renegotiate the current system in an attempt to ease pressures on his town.

But the Home Office insider: “This is a complete non-starter.

“The Home Secretary is crystal clear that people in need of protection should seek asylum in the first safe country they enter. That’s the long-held international norm, and we’re going to stick to it.”

This month the camp is expected to reach a record high of 10,000 migrants, prompting calls for the UK deal to be renegotiated.

Migration controls are a central issue in French politics and although current President Francois Hollande is committed to honouring the existing agreement, he could be ousted at France’s 2017 election.

Mr Sarkozy and his Republican rival for the presidential nomination Alain Juppe both say the Le Touquet deal should be scrapped.

Germany: No Invader “2nd Economic Miracle”

The president of Germany’s largest economic research unit has admitted that the mass nonwhite invader invasion of Germany will not produce the oft-touted “second economic miracle”-and that the “refugees” cost far more than they ever will produce. Around 2 percent of the 1.5 million nonwhite invaders who entered Germany last year are actually working-and the remaining 1,499,970 are parasiting off the German taxpayers.

Greece: The Freedom-of-Speech Canary Died

by Maria Polizoidou

The Minister for Immigration Affairs himself, repeatedly stated that 50% to 70% of migratory flows to Greece were illegal migrants and the rest were refugees. The illegal migrants come from 77 different countries.

If it is a “racist crime” for a citizen to express accurately the percentages of refugees and illegal migrants entering the country, what will come next, the Thought Police?

The real reason for prosecuting Bishop Markos, it seems, is that the government expects that Turkey’s migration deal with the EU will collapse, and that if it does, the migrant flows in the coming months will increase dramatically. The government, according to some members in the opposition, has no friendly way to manage illegal migration and therefore prefers to impose restrictions on freedom of speech and prosecute anyone who objects.

The government might scare the Bishop of Chios Island by pressing charges against him and trying to stigmatize him as a racist. But the government will still not scare the angry majority of Greeks.

Hungary’s Fruit and Vegetable Sector Shortage of Seasonal Labour

Hungary’s fruit and vegetable sector is facing a huge shortage of seasonal labour, predicted to be between 50,000 to 80,000 seasonal workers. Due to this, scarcely anyone can be found to pick tomato, cucumber and apple crops, according to a report in the daily Világgazdaság on August 26.

Illegal Immigration Threat to Naga

Illegal immigration from Bangladesh into northeast India is so big that it will plunge the indigenous Naga people into minority status within 30 years. The parallels with what is happening in Europe and North America are obvious: massive illegal immigration will plunge Europeans into minority status within 30 years as well-but it is only the Third World indigenous peoples who are “protected” by the establishment.

More Than 300,000 Refugees in Germany Work Illegally, Pay Kickbacks to Asylum Center Staff — Reports

Up to 30 percent of the 1.1 million asylum seekers who arrived in Germany in 2015 may be working illegally, German broadcaster NDR said, citing experts. It added that refugee shelter employees often help migrants find illegal jobs in return for kickbacks.

NDR admitted that there is no reliable data on the exact numbers of asylum seekers who are working illegally in Germany, adding that its report was based on an enquiry conducted among social workers, activists and employees working in refugee centers as well as refugees and experts in the cities of Hamburg and Berlin, and in the states of Lower Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt.

Number of Migrants From Turkey to Greece Skyrockets

The number of migrants crossing from Turkey to the Greek islands skyrocketed Tuesday, with 462 people arriving in the last 24 hours, the country’s working group for the refugee crisis announced in Athens.

This is the largest registered number of refugees and migrants to enter the country in one day since the EU and Turkey implemented the refugee deal in April.

Richard Littlejohn Says it is Up to the French to Solve the Crisis in Calais — and They Could Start by Bulldozing the Camp

One of the more ludicrous scare stories put about by Project Fear before the EU referendum was that if Britain voted for Brexit, huge refugee camps would suddenly spring up all over the south of England.

It was garbage then and it’s garbage now. But that hasn’t stopped opportunist French politicians trying to make it come true.

Pint-sized pipsqueak Nicolas Sarkozy and his rival for the presidency, Alain Juppe, have both announced that they intend to relocate the Calais ‘Jungle’ migrant camp to the UK.

‘I’m asking for the opening of a centre in England to process asylum requests for all those who are in Calais, so that the English do the work that concerns them,’ Mr Sarkozy said. ‘The Jungle should not be in Calais. It is perfectly normal for us to control our borders.’

He’s right, of course — at least when he says the ‘Jungle’ shouldn’t be in Calais. The only reason thousands of pretend ‘refugees’ have ended up in north-western France is because of the European Union’s insane freedom of movement rules.

These were originally intended to allow citizens of EU countries to take work anywhere within the union. Instead, the system has mutated to allow anyone who manages to set foot in Europe from anywhere in the world to settle wherever the hell they choose.

This reckless stupidity was compounded when Germany’s Angela Merkel unilaterally ripped up any meaningful border controls and invited millions of people from the Third World to come to Europe.

She had no authority to make such a declaration, but she did it anyway in a typical display of Teutonic arrogance. The rest of the EU is now having to live with the disastrous consequences of her bonkers ‘come on down’ commandment.

Rising Tensions Spark Rise in Violence at Swiss Asylum Centres

Frustrations are spilling over in refugee centres in Switzerland causing an increasing number of confrontations between residents, according to figures reported by the Sunday papers.

During the first quarter of 2016 security guards had to deal with twice the amount of violent situations as in previous quarters, said SonntagsZeitung, quoting an internal report from the Swiss federal migration office (SEM).

In most cases, security guards were able to diffuse the situation, and the police were called in only 77 out of 240 incidents, reported news agencies.

Serbia Arrests Smugglers With 64 Afghan Migrants

Serbian security forces stopped a group smuggling migrants from Bulgaria and arrested three people, the defence ministry in Belgrade said Tuesday.

A joint police and army patrol caught the gang with 64 migrants, all of them Afghan nationals, at Zajecar, close to Serbia’s border with Bulgaria.

The van was packed with 34 people, among them a pregnant woman, a baby and a child. The driver previously made a run with 30 migrants, leaving them with two accomplices for further transport by cars.

Slovenia Warns Angela Merkel ‘Another Wave of Migrants Will Risk Wiping Out the EU’

Mrs Merkel made a “grand tour” of Europe last week in a bid to smooth over a developing row in the bloc over her open door migrant policy.

She met with counterparts in Austria, Croatia, Bulgaria and Slovenia to try to get a handle of what is going on across the Shengen zone.

Now as more and more states are threatening large scale deportations, the Prime Minister of Slovenia is claiming the EU is on a knife edge.

Some 6,500 Migrants Rescued Off Libya: Coastguard

Around 6,500 migrants were rescued off the coast of Libya on Monday, the Italian coastguard said, in one of its busiest days of life-saving in recent years.

Dramatic images of one operation showed about 700 migrants crammed onto a fishing boat, with some of them jumping off the vessel in life jackets and swimming towards rescuers.

On Sunday more than 1,100 migrants were rescued in the same area.

The total number of arrivals in Italy this year now stands at 112,500, according to the UN’s refugee agency and the coastguard, slightly below the 116,000 recorded by the same point in 2015.

Almost all of those migrants originate from West Africa and the Horn of Africa, often departing from Libya en masse when the sea is calm and a southern wind can push boats up into international waters.

State Dept. To Foreigners: Here’s Where Free Money is

Campaign guides Guatemalans on labor, health-care ‘rights’ in U.S.

The poorest and least literate segments of Guatemala are about to get an education on labor and health-care entitlements they can pursue in the U.S., thanks to a media bombardment that the Obama administration is planning in that Central American nation.

Among the chief aims of this campaign is to alert potential immigrants about their “rights and recourses with respect to labor conditions and access to health care in the United States,” according to a Request for Quotations, or RFQ, that WND discovered via routine database research.

The U.S. Department of State is currently reviewing vendor bids to develop and disseminate radio, television and print advertisements across Guatemala, where the U.S. Embassy’s Fraud Prevention Unit seeks to curtail local exploitation of U.S. visa applicants.

A selected contractor will carry out the endeavor nationwide, focusing on regions where “rural semi-literate to illiterate Guatemalans ages 18 to 40 who perform manual labor” have been targeted by predatory job recruiters known as “tramitadores.”

Thousands of Migrants Rescued Off Libya

About 6,500 migrants have been rescued off Libya, the Italian coastguard says, in one of the biggest operations of its kind to date.

Some 40 co-ordinated rescue missions took place about 20km (12 miles) off the Libyan town of Sabratha, it added.

Video footage shows migrants, said to be from Eritrea and Somalia, cheering and some swimming to rescue vessels, while others carried babies aboard.

On Sunday more than 1,100 migrants were rescued in the same area.

The instability in Libya has made the country a hub for people-trafficking.

Turkish FM Warns Migrant Pact Will Collapse Unless EU Meets Commitments

In an interview with Kathimerini published on Tuesday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has warned the EU that if it doesn’t grant Turkish citizens via-free travel to Europe by October “at the latest,” then Ankara will not continue implementing a deal struck in March with Brussels to stem the flow of migrants to Europe.

Visa liberalization was one of the conditions set by Turkey to sign up to the agreement.

UK to Reject Changes to Calais Border Deal

UK home secretary Amber Rudd is to reject calls for changes to UK-French border control agreements in Calais when she meets her French counterpart on Tuesday. French officials suggested establishing “hotspots” in Calais to allow migrants to apply for UK asylum without crossing the channel. But the UK has rejected the idea, arguing that people should seek asylum in the first safe country they enter.

Video — Bill Clinton: Rebuild Detroit With Syrian Refugees

“The truth is that the big loser in this over the long run is going to be Syria. This is an enormous opportunity for Americans,” Bill Clinton said about the Syrian migrant crisis.

Detroit has 10,000 empty, structurally sound houses—10,000. And lot of jobs to be had repairing those houses. Detroit just came out of bankruptcy and the mayor’s trying to do an innovative sort of urban homesteading program there. But it just gives you an example of what could be done. And I think any of us who have ever had any personal experience with either Syrian Americans or Syrian refugees think it’s a pretty good deal.

It is unclear from the video why Clinton seems to think it would be better to fill these Detroit jobs with imported foreign migrants rather than unemployed Americans already living there, who could perhaps benefit from good-paying jobs.

In the video, Clinton discusses the migrant crisis with billionaire and mass migration enthusiast Hamdi Ulukaya of the Chobani yogurt empire

Violence Peaks in ‘No-Go Zone’ Calais as Pressure Builds to Move Migrant Camp to UK

Just months after it was reported that the majority of the illegal Calais migrant camp had been cleared, its population is back at 10,000, violence has peaked, and police have declared the area a “no-go zone”.

The revelations come as pressure mounts in France to move the border and camp to the UK, which the British Home Secretary will discuss when she travels to France today.

Inter-ethnic violence and the increasingly desperate and violent attempts to board and ambush lorries passing through the port have driven the increase in conflict.

“There are fights all the time now. You can get stabbed here for your money,” Rais, a 23-year-old migrant from Jalalabad in Afghanistan, told The Telegraph.

Globalism is a Barbaric Relic — Voluntary Tribalism is the Future

After the Brexit referendum, a new tone appears to have been set. The elites have now entered the mainstream media to state in essence that yes, they are globalists, they want total centralization and they are here to fight a philosophical and/or physical battle with those they call “populists” (also known as conservatives and sovereigns).

When they have discussed globalization in previous years, it has always been presented as some kind of natural progression of events rather than an agenda. The first secret of elitist propaganda is their constant assertion that globalism is “inevitable;” that it is foolish to fight against it because it is the unavoidable future evolution of mankind. The fact is that if globalism is so inevitable, the elites would not need to expend trillions in capital and decades of energy trying to fool the masses into accepting it. If globalism is inevitable, couldn’t the elites simply lay back in their pool-side cabanas, sip their dry martinis and just watch it all unfold on its own?

Instead, the elites have foisted globalism upon the shoulders of the public, and are by some indications preparing for outright war in order to force us “populists” into compliance.

The second secret of elitist propaganda is their strategy to disguise centralization as decentralization. For instance, the new globalist claim is that a shift away from a system in which the dollar is the world reserve currency into a system in which a basket of currencies becomes the world reserve is a move towards a “multi-polar world.” Nothing could be further from the truth.

In reality, the basket currency system the elites are pushing for falls under the umbrella of the IMF’s Special Drawing Rights. Meaning a switch away from the dollar into the SDR will result in even MORE centralized power for the elites. That is not a multi-polar world; it is a uni-polar one…

It’s simple, really. They have already set the stage for an international economic and political crisis of epic proportions. Why not let conservatives and sovereigns take over as captains of an already sinking ship, then blame them when there aren’t enough lifeboats to save the passengers?

Following this line of thinking was how I was able to correctly predict the success of the Brexit vote, it is the reason why I have consistently argued that the Fed will continue to raise interest rates in 2016 despite multiple signs of a recessionary downturn, and why I believe Donald Trump will be the next president.

Once instability has run its course, and once the damage is done and the “populists” are blamed, the elites plan to swoop in with globalism as the fix-all.

The question then arises, if this is the strategy being implemented by the globalists, what can be done about it?
