Banks Assert Constitutional Right to Billions in Subsidies

Argument effectively asserts that the risk-free dividend is bank property

A trade group for the nation’s largest banks has asserted a constitutional right to risk-free profit from the Federal Reserve.

Rob Nichols, the chief lobbyist for the American Bankers Association, argued in a comment letter Thursday that a recent federal law reducing the dividend on the stock that banks purchase as part of membership in the Federal Reserve system, violates the Fifth Amendment clause banning the uncompensated seizure of property.

“We Want Them Dead” — ISIS Releases “Hit List” Of 3,600 New Yorkers

In its latest attempt to instill fear far away from the battlefield in Syria, or the recently terrorism-plagued countries of France and Belgium, last week Islamic State supporters published the names and addresses of 3,600 New Yorkers in an apparent “hit list” designed to escalate the group’s campaign of sowing fear far from the battlefield in Syria.

According to the CSM the names on the list were released last week by a group calling itself United Cyber Caliphate on the encrypted chat application Telegram, which IS supporters have used to recruit supporters and spread propaganda. As Reuters adds, the group has urged followers of the militant group to target these 3,600 individuals and to facilitate that the hacker group has posted their personal information with the demand that “we want them #Dead.”

The list includes names, home addresses and email addresses. Some of the information appears to be outdated, according to the source, who was not authorized to discuss the investigation publicly. It was not immediately clear how IS supporters obtained the names and addresses on the list.

The list targets government employees with the State Department and Homeland Security, according to ABC, but there are also many average residents on the list who are now being informed by Federal officials that they have ended up on the ISIS hit list. NBC New York has gained access to the data, and mapped the locations of New Yorkers on the list. Many of the targeted were from Brooklyn, some from Manhattan, Staten Island, Queens and other surrounding areas.

11-Year-Old Boy Shoots Home Intruder: ‘He Started Crying Like a Little Baby’

An Alabama boy is being praised after using a firearm to ward off a home invader.

Alone at his Talladega home Wednesday morning, Chris Gaither, 11, says he retrieved a knife and then his stepdad’s 9mm pistol after his dog alerted him to a break in.

“I seen the guy and I warned him four times to get out and then he ran upstairs,” Chris said. “And he came back down with a .38 in his hand.”

The young boy recalled being scared after the suspected burglar pointed the gun at him, but Chris proceeded to stand his ground.

“When he was coming downstairs he told me he was going to kill me and F you and all that,” Chris told WVTM reporters.

“I told him I was gonna kill him and all that with the gun if he didn’t get out of my house,” the home school student said.

ADL Targets Trump: Saying “America First” is Anti-Semitic

The ADL urged him to refrain from using the slogan in the future

According to the Anti-Defamation League, Trump needs to stop using the phrase “America First” because it’s “anti-Semitic.”

The ADL press release shared yesterday urged Trump “to reconsider his use of the phrase ‘America First’,” saying it was used by so-called anti-Semites “seeking to keep the nation out of World War II.”

“The most noteworthy leader of the ‘America First Committee’ was Charles Lindbergh,” the ADL said, “who sympathized with the Nazis and whose rhetoric was characterized by anti-Semitism and offensive stereotypes.”

Incidentally, the hysterical Bloomberg columnist Eli Lake we reported on yesterdaytook almost the exact same angle in his column, saying Trump using the term “America First” was reminiscent of the “Nazi era.”

[Comment: Sounds like the ADL is Anti-American. Pride in your own country is not evil -despite the globalist propaganda of trying to equate patriotism with Nazism.]

Ammon Bundy Offered Guilty Plea if Armed Oregon Protesters Were Let Go

At the time his offer was made, the occupation of the reserve was still ongoing

The leader of the armed group that took over a federal wildlife reserve in Oregon reportedly offered to plead guilty to federal criminal charges if other protesters were let go and relieved of their charges.

According to the Oregonian, federal prosecutors ultimately rejected Ammon Bundy’s offer to plead guilty to a federal conspiracy charge, which was made about three days after he was arrested. Bundy led more than two-dozen armed individuals when they took over the Malhuer National Wildlife Refuge in Burns, Oregon this past January, an occupation that lasted 41 days.

At the time his offer was made, the occupation of the reserve was still ongoing, though 26 others were eventually charged over the incident.

In a court motion seeking to delay filing deadlines in Bundy’s trial, the 40-year-old’s attorney Mike Arnold said Bundy “was willing to sacrifice his broader interests and risk his liberty for his fellow protesters.”

Arnold said that Bundy has been unable to efficiently prepare for a trial because he had to move between Oregon and Nevada over the past month, where is dealing with another indictment over his involvement in a 2014 standoff with federal officials at his father’s ranch.

During his time in Nevada, Bundy was trying to prepare for his case in Oregon, taking extensive notes even as he was held in solitary confinement and deprived of meals, the motion reads. However, as he was preparing to travel to Oregon, US Marshals confiscated his notes. Those notes will be delivered back to Bundy, the Oregonian reported.

Now, Arnold wants a 30-day delay in the case. If they can’t get that, they want to see him tried as quickly as possible, before the other defendants’ cases move forward.

“If Mr. Bundy is unable to meaningfully and fairly engage in credible and diligent pretrial litigation and motion practice … while the government piles terabytes of discovery data here and pursues a separate but related prosecution in Nevada, there is no purpose served whatsoever in the prolonged pretrial incarceration of himself and his colleagues here in Oregon who all share (along with their families) its attendant hardships,” the motion reads.

Army Retains Decorated Green Beret it Planned to Kick Out Over Confronting Afghan Child Rapist

“I am real thankful for being able to continue to serve,” Martland said

In a stunning reversal, the U.S. Army decided late Thursday to retain a decorated Green Beret it had planned to kick out after he physically confronted a local Afghan commander accused of raping a boy over the course of many days.

Sgt 1st Class Charles Martland, confirmed the Army’s decision to retain him when reached by Fox News, who has been covering the story in depth for the past eight months and first broke the story of the Army’s decision in August to kick out Martland over the incident, which occurred in northern Afghanistan in 2011.

“I am real thankful for being able to continue to serve,” said Martland when reached on the telephone by Fox News. “I appreciate everything Congressman Duncan Hunter and his Chief of Staff, Joe Kasper did for me.”

‘Climate Hustle’ Is ‘The Most Dangerous Documentary of Year’

– ‘Wickedly effective use of slapstick humor’ — ‘Lays waste to Gore’ — ‘Brutal & Extremely Funny’

Leading climate activists are warning moviegoers to shun the May 2nd nationwide one-day theater screening of “Climate Hustle,” a new film debunking climate alarmism and its big government solutions. Bill Nye (not a real “science guy,” FYI), who entertains the idea of throwing climate skeptics in the slammer, warned the film’s producer, Climate Depot publisher Marc Morano, that “Climate Hustle’s” content endangers not just the nation, but also the world: “I think it will expose your point of view as very much in the minority and very much not in our national interest and the world’s interest.” U.N. Climate Scientist Michael Oppenheimer has, likewise, condemned the film — without even viewing it — for daring to dispute climate alarmism. “Marc is a propagandist,” the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change scientist cautions viewers.

Review: ‘Climate Hustle is the most dangerous documentary of the year’ — ‘Brutally effective’ — ‘It’s hard not to laugh’ — Christian Toto of Hollywood In Toto: ‘Climate Hustle’ is just the tonic the global warming debate needs’

‘We see Morano trying to challenge a few scientists, but it typically ends with them fleeing the microphones. After all, he’s no stranger to debate.’ — ‘The film’s most effective moments come when left-of-center experts describe how they abandoned their previous climate change positions. Doing so opened them up to scathing critiques from their colleagues. Some even found themselves unwelcome at gigs they held for some time. It’s another signal that dissent won’t be tolerated in climate change circles.’

Cruz and Fiorina, A Dream Ticket for Globalists

How absolutely bizarre is it that Ted Cruz has named Carly Fiorina as his vice-president. After Trump’s Northeastern sweep on Tuesday night, it’s mathematically impossible for Cruz to net enough delegates to win on the first ballot if Trump doesn’t reach the requisite 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the nomination. I know, I know, Cruz and Kasich hope to keep Trump from gaining the delegates and resulting in a brokered convention where Cruz could win the nomination. Carly Fiorina, just months ago, called Ted Cruz a typical lying politician.

Now she’s joining with him and lauding his character and trustworthiness. In fact, she broke into song when it was announced that she would be his vice-president.

I really think these people have lost their minds, but then I knew what they were a long time ago, and have written about it over and over again. Crazy Glenn Beck who wants to knife Donald Trump, and Dominionist David Barton who believes Sharia Law and the Constitution are compatible, and all of them joining together to push a Constitutional Convention. These are Cruz’s closest friends and supporters.

And top it off with John Boehner calling Ted Cruz “Lucifer in the flesh,” and a “crazy SOB.” [Link] Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, they’re really two of a kind, albeit Cruz is far creepier.

Then there’s the lesser known tale of Ted Cruz actually trying to uphold a ban on dildos. Does it get even more weird than this? You bet it does. His former Princeton roommate says that the women would continually ask him to keep creepy Cruz out of their hallway. [Link]

The Daily Bail is reporting that Cruz has lost his mind. They stated, “Last night in Indiana, Ted Cruz lashed out at the national media for favoring Trump. Cruz fails to consider that the majority of sane Americans, including members of his own family, correctly believe that he’s an extremely creepy individual.”

And of course Ted has called the Council on Foreign Relations a “nest of vipers,” but his wife worked there for five years helping to write the North American Community. As well, his mentor at Princeton was none other than Robert George, CFR and UNESCO. Hmmm…if CFR is a “nest of vipers,” why has Cruz accepted George’s endorsement and his wife’s five year tenure at CFR?

Revisiting Carly Fiorina

Readers might want to revisit my two articles on Carly, her devastating destruction of Hewlett Packard, and how many in California still detest the woman. (Surely choosing Carly Fiorina for VP will help Donald Trump win big in California.) [Link], [Link]

Fiorina has openly admitted that she uses the Marxist Hegelian Dialectic every day, and lauds Islam as “the greatest civilization in the world.”

Cruz and Carly will get along famously. Both claim they will rid the country of Common Core, yet both are lying. Senator Cruz’s EDUCATION Bill S 306 expands Common Core to private, religious, and home schoolers. [Link], [Link]

[Comment: Read it all. If you don’t know the history of Carly’s time at HP, you should follow the links to read the articles about the descent of what was once a fine engineering company. Note — ignore google warning about this being an attack site. Google is doing this to many pro-Trump websites. ]

Facebook Spent $16 Million on Armed Guards for Billionaire Progressive Mark Zuckerberg

Amount disclosed after SEC pressed Facebook to explain “security expenses”

Facebook has spent $16 million on armed security for billionaire progressive Mark Zuckerberg.

This means that even as Facebook was incrementally barring law-abiding citizens-including licensed gun dealers-from advertising firearm sales for self-defense, they were spending millions to keep Zuckerberg surrounded by hired guys carrying guns.

Facebook’s ban on the advertisement of gun sales has even led to the deletion of accounts on which the word “firearms” is included.

According to Quartz, Zuckerberg “famously takes $1 annual salary” from Facebook. However, Facebook “revealed that it spent more than $16 million over the past five years on private air travel and other aspects of Zuckerberg’s ‘overall security program.’“

From Bikers to Truckers, Pro-Trump Groups Plan Forceful Presence in Cleveland

“The plan either way is send a message to the Republican establishment to respect our votes”

When Chris Cox rolls into Cleveland in mid-July with other motorcycle-riding supporters of Donald Trump, he plans to celebrate the billionaire’s coronation as the Republican presidential nominee. He also counts on joining protests if a battle over the nomination ensues.

“I’m anticipating we’ll be doing a victory dance,” said Cox, 47, a chainsaw artist and founder of Bikers for Trump, thousands of whom he estimates will hit the Ohio city for the July 18-21 Republican National Convention.

“But if the Republican Party tries to pull off any backroom deals and ignores the will of the people, our role will change.”

Bikers For Trump is part of a diverse array of groups coordinating to hold thousands-strong protests and marches if the real-estate mogul is denied outright victory at the Republican Party’s nominating convention in Cleveland.

Girl: 16, Is Killed After Getting Ejected From a Spinning Ride at a Texas Church Carnival

A 16-year-old girl died after being ejected from a spinning ride at a Texas church carnival Friday night.

The teenager, who has not been named, went to the St Thomas Aquinas Church carnival in El Paso with two other girls, ABC News reported.

All three were between 15 and 18 years old.

They went on the Sizzler ride, which consists of seats spinning around in a circle as well as on themselves.

The 16-year-old got ejected from the ride and hit a metal barricade, a spokeswoman for the diocese told KFox14.

She died at El Paso’s Del Sol Medical Center.

One of her friends, who is 15 years old, got flung from the ride too and was taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries…

Lunchroom Lunacy: ISD Cops Investigate $2 Bill Spent on School Lunch

Now 14, Daneisha was hoping to eat that day’s lunch of chicken tenders with her classmates using a $2 bill given to her by her grandmother when she was stopped by the long arm of the law.

“I went to the lunch line and they said my $2 bill was fake,” Danesiah told Ted Oberg Investigates. “They gave it to the police. Then they sent me to the police office. A police officer said I could be in big trouble.”

Not just big trouble. Third-degree felony trouble.

And that’s just one of eight counterfeiting charges investigated against high- and middle-school students at Fort Bend ISD since the 2013-2014 school year.

School officials called Daneisha’s grandmother Sharon Kay Joseph.

“She’s never in trouble, so I was nervous going in there,” she recalled to abc13.

The officials asked, “‘Did you give Danesiah a $2 bill for lunch?’ He told me it was fake,” she said.

Then the Fort Bend ISD police investigated the $2 bill with the vigor of an episode of Dragnet, even though at that school 82-percent of kids are poor enough to get free or reduced price lunch.

The alleged theft of $2 worth of chicken tenders led a campus officer — average salary $45,000 a year — to the convenience store that gave grandma the $2 bill.

Next stop — and these are just the facts — the cop went to a bank to examine the bill.

Finally, the mystery was solved: The $2 bill wasn’t a fake at all. It was real.

The bill so old, dating back to 1953, the school’s counterfeit pen didn’t work on it.

“He brought me my two dollar bill back,” Joseph said. He didn’t apologize. He should have and the school should have because they pulled Danesiah out of lunch and she didn’t eat lunch that day because they took her money.”

Joseph said something needs to change so kids don’t have felonies looming over their heads for minor crimes — or actions that aren’t even crimes at all.

“It was very outrageous for them to do it,” she said. “There was no need for police involvement. They’re charging kids like they’re adults now.”

RNC Official: Delegate Counts Are ‘Estimates.’ Even if Trump Gets to 1237, He May be Denied Nomination

No matter how much the RNC dislikes the idea of Donald Trump as its 2016 nominee, one thing is for certain. If he goes into the convention with the ‘magic number’ of 1,237 delegates, he’ll get the nod. Party officials have been making that proclamation for months. As Reince Priebus says:

“The rules say you have to have 1,237 delegates to be the nominee. We aren’t going to hand the nomination to anyone with a plurality, no matter how close they are to 1,237. You need a majority. Almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.”

Now it’s starting to look like Donald Trump might actually get to that number. Since they’re a party hell-bent on self-destruction, they’re panicking and searching for new, exciting, ways to deny him the delegates he needs. As one unbound delegate argues, all the delegate counts you’ve seen so far are “just estimates.” …Oh, and he sits on the convention rules committee too.

EU Military Police Carry Out “Worrying’ Civil Unrest Crisis Training

A MILITARY police unit have carried out European Union-funded special training, ready to be deployed in the event of civil unrest or war.

Breitbart London reported that the exercise was attended by 600 members of various European police and military forces, in a bid to prepare the united troops of the European Gendarmerie Force.

The military police group is made up of seven European nations, including Spain, Romania, Poland and Germany, and aims to quell post conflict scenarios within EU member states.

It went on to describe the exercises carried out, including “carousel training, with attention being given to all policing skills, including community policing and social patrols, crowd and riot control, SWAT teams and forensic investigation”.

European affairs spokesman for the German Government Andrej Huko asked to attend, but was blocked from coming close to the site…

Germany’s Green Energy Fiasco

Wind Farms Paid €500 Million A Year To Stand Idle

Because of the boom of renewable energy, more and more wind turbines have to be switched off. The reason is power overloading. The network operators must turn down electricity generated from windmills when their power threatens to clog the network.

For the grid operator Tennet alone, these costs added 329 million euros in 2015 — two and a half times as much as in the previous year. The other network operators 50Hertz, Amprion and EnBW had a combined cost of 150 million euros, according to a survey of Wirtschaftswoche among the four network operators in Germany.-Christian Schlesiger, Wirtschaftswoche, 28 April 2016

The online German national daily Die Welt has a piece by business journalist Holger Zschäpitz on Germany’s sky-high, ever climbing electricity prices. Awhile ago it looked as if prices had finally stabilized. But now Zschäpitz writes that German electricity prices, already among the highest in the world, have jumped once again. Families today are paying 21% more for electricity than they did 5 years ago. So what is driving the rapid upward price spiral? Zschäpitz reports that it’s due mostly to the “Energiewende”. In the meantime, Germany’s CO2 emissions have been rising, and thus consumers are not really getting anything for the massive amounts of money.-Pierre Gosselin, No Tricks Zone, 29 April 2016

Report: Germany ‘Annexing’ Dutch Military as Secretive EU Army Begins to Take Shape

The German and Dutch armies and navies are poised to “merge”, creating the nucleus of the European Union’s longed for pan-EU military force. Pointing to German ministerial statements spelling out the creation of an EU Army as the ultimate goal, critics say Britain’s military will not be able to avoid being sucked in if the country remains within the Union.

The German government has revealed that Dutch and German land armies and navies are set to move towards “closer integration”, with two Dutch units already coming under German command. Last month the Dutch 43rd Mechanised Brigade was subsumed into the German 1st Armoured Division, following the takeover of the Dutch 11th Airmobile Brigade by German command last year.

The two countries are also already sharing the Netherland’s largest war ship, the Karel Doorman, and aim to merge its two naval powers into one unified navy within the next two years…

Surgeons Receiving Military Training for Future Terror Attacks

Surgeons in Germany are training on how to deal with wounds caused by bomb blasts for future terror attacks.

Since the Islamic State’s terror attack on Paris in November the German government has been working on how to better prepare the doctors and hospitals in Germany for future terror attacks, Die Welt reports.

The French emergency plan in November saw the mobilization of some 100,000 doctors, nurses and other medical staff in over 40 different hospitals. 35 life saving operations took place on the night and the city was able to coordinate ten helicopters to transport the wounded.

The entire operation on the November night was considered a success by the medical community and the German government wants to make sure that the same type of response happens in Germany.

Secretary of the German Society of General and Visceral Surgery (DGAV), Heinz-John Buhr, has said that Germany needs to prepare doctors for future terror attacks. “Gunshot and blast injuries are not taught in their studies,” he said, “most German surgeons have never seen anything like it.”…

Caught on Tape: The Last Minutes of Life of a Bumbling ISIS Fighter

Amid pay cuts and sex-slave incentives, it appears not only is ISIS fighters’ enthusiasm flagging but their IQ appears to be dropping too. As the following rather shockingly comical clip via VICE News shows a cluster of shambolic and frenzied ISIS extremists were ‘caught on tape’ as they struggle to fire rockets at Kurdish pashmerga troops near Mosul, Iraq.

As NY Post reports, the footage shows the chaos inside an improvised armored carrier as the fighters shout at each other while bullets fly.

“Careful not to shoot at our brothers!” one yells. “Where is my magazine?” another shouts.

One asks for a rocket launcher.

“The rockets for firing at people or armored vehicles?” one of the discombobulated men asks.

When someone on the vehicle fires his assault rifle, another yells at him: “The bullet casings are hitting us! Be careful, Abu Abdullah!”

When one finally fires a rocket, all hell breaks loose and debris lands inside the open-air carrier.

“Good job, but you roasted us, too!” one yells. “What is wrong with you, Abu Hajaar?”

“I need a rocket for firing at people!” one of them pleads.

Finally, their carrier is hit and the men jump out of the burning vehicle.

“The driver has died!” one yells.

The jihadist whose headcam caught the pandemonium is eventually mortally wounded by the enemy forces.

“I’ve been shot!” he yells as the rest of his comrades retreat.

State of Emergency Declared in Baghdad as Protesters Take Iraqi Parliament

Protesters stormed Iraq’s parliament Saturday in a dramatic culmination of months of demonstrations, casting uncertainty over the tenure of the country’s prime minister and the foundations of the political system laid in place after the 2003 U.S.-led invasion.

Security forces declared a state of emergency in the Iraqi capital after demonstrators climbed over blast walls and broke through cordons to enter Baghdad’s fortified Green Zone, also home to ministries and the U.S. embassy. Many were followers of Iraq’s powerful Shiite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, who has been urging his supporters onto the streets.

Lawmakers fled the building in panic, with some berated and struck as they left. Others were trapped in the basement for hours, too afraid to face the crowds who complain that the country’s political class is racked by corruption.

It was a day of high drama for a country that is no stranger to revolution and that has seen all of its leaders overthrown from the time the state was established in 1921 until the U.S. invasion toppled Saddam Hussein in 2003. At issue now is the quota system introduced when the U.S.-led coalition put together Iraq’s first post-invasion government, which determines Iraq’s political positions according to sect and ethnicity.

The turmoil threatened to unseat the already embattled prime minister, Haider al-Abadi, with whom the United States has partnered in the fight against Islamic State militants in Iraq but whose efforts at reform have stumbled. U.S. officials have expressed concern that the unrest could affect the battlefield as Iraq also struggles with an extreme budget crisis caused by a plunge in oil prices…

‘Violation of Sovereignty’: Moscow Slams Obama Decision to Send 250 More US Troops to Syria

The move raised eyebrows as it contradicts Obama’s earlier promise

Moscow has voiced concerns over the landing of 150 US soldiers in Rumeilan, northeastern Syria, without the consent of the Syrian government, calling it a “violation of the country’s sovereignty.”

“Speaking from the position of the Foreign Ministry, we can’t help but be concerned about the fact that such actions are being carried out by the US without the consent of the legitimate government of the Syrian Arab Republic,” Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told TASS.

“It is a violation of sovereignty,” he said. “I emphasize that a similar political assessment has already been given by official Damascus, and we express our full solidarity with it,” the Russian diplomat said.

He added that “contacts between Russia-US defense ministries are taking place on a daily basis.”

QUT Students Claim Human Rights ‘Discrimination’

Two university students being sued for allegedly racist Facebook posts have launched a complaint of their own, claiming the Australian Human Rights Commission discriminated against them because they were white heterosexual males.

Calum Thwaites and Jackson Powell are subject to a lawsuit by Queensland University of Technology administration officer Cindy Prior. They claim the AHRC breached their human rights by failing to notify them of the complaint against them for more than a year.

The two are demanding an apology from the AHRC, compensation for legal costs understood to already be in the hundreds of thousands of dollars and that the commission change the way it deals with complaints.

In the complaint documents their lawyer, Tony Morris QC, claims the two were “at all times treated by the AHRC with absolute, unequivocal and flagrant indifference, disregard, contumacy, hauteur, disdain, vilipendency and insouciance”.

He argues they were treated in that way because they were white male heterosexuals who were not active members of any religious sect or trade union and were not generally politically outspoken.

The case stems from a May 2013 incident in which Ms Prior asked three students to leave an indigenous-only computer lab at the university, prompting one of them, Alex Wood, who is also being sued, to post, “Just got kicked out of the unsigned Indigenous computer room. QUT stopping segregation with segregation?” on Facebook.

The post attracted a string of comments, some of which were critical of the existence of the indigenous-only lab, including one from Mr Powell who wrote, “I wonder where the white supremacist lab is.”…

The Suicide of Venezuela

Venezuela is slowly, and very publically, dying; an act that has spanned more than fifteen years. To watch a country kill itself is not something that happens often. In ignorance, one presumes it would be fast and brutal and striking — like the Rwandan genocide or Vesuvius covering Pompeii. You expect to see bodies of mothers clutching protectively their young; carbonized by the force or preserved on the glossy side of pictures. But those aren’t the occasions that promote national suicide. After those events countries recover — – people recover. They rebuild, they reconcile. They forgive.

No, national suicide is a much longer process — not product of any one moment. But instead one bad idea, upon another, upon another and another and another and another and the wheels that move the country began to grind slower and slower; rust covering their once shiny facades. Revolution — cold and angry. Hate, as a political strategy. Law, used to divide and conquer. Regulation used to punish. Elections used to cement dictatorship. Corruption bleeding out the lifeblood in drips, filling the buckets of a successive line of bureaucrats before they are destroyed, only to be replaced time and again. This is what is remarkable for me about Venezuela. In my defense — weak though it may be — I tried to fight the suicide the whole time; in one way or another. I suppose I still do, my writing as a last line of resistance. But like Dagny Taggert I found there was nothing to push against — it was all a gooey mess of resentment and excuses. “You shouldn’t do that.” I have said. And again, “That law will not work,” and “this election will bring no freedom,” while also, “what you plan will not bring prosperity — and the only equality you will find will be in the bread line.” And I was not alone; an army of people smarter than me pointed out publically in journals and discussion forums and on the televisions screens and community meetings and in political campaigns that the result would only be collective national suicide. Nobody was listening.

Italy: Bagnasco Slams Brenner Barrier

‘Walls, border shutdowns not the way’ says Genoa cardinal

(ANSA) — Genoa, April 29 — Walls and closed borders are not the way to deal with humanitarian problems, the leader of the Italian Bishops Conference (CEI) said Friday.

The comments by Cardinal Angelo Bagnasco, the archbishop of the northwestern city of Genoa, came after Austria said it may erect a barrier at the Brenner Pass on the border it shares with Italy to keep asylum seekers out. “This situation of universal migration must be taken more seriously on the international level — that is by the UN and not just by Europe or Italy, which is doing its best,” said

Murderers, Rapists, Kidnappers: Nearly 20,000 Criminal Aliens Released in 2015

19,723 criminal illegal aliens back onto U.S. streets who have been convicted of 64,197 crimes

Federal immigration authorities last year released 19,723 criminal illegal aliens back onto U.S. streets who have been convicted of 64,197 crimes — including 208 homicides.

That’s according to data that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) provided to Congress this week ahead of a House Oversight Committee hearing scheduled for Thursday.

The number of criminal aliens released from ICE custody is down from previous years, though apprehensions of illegal aliens in general have also fallen during the Obama regime.

In 2013, more than 36,000 criminal illegal aliens with convictions for more than 88,000 crimes were released from custody. In 2014, more than 30,000 were released.

[Comment: Many American citizens are being killed or assaulted at the hands of illegals. Their blood is on the hands of every traitorous open-border puppet politcian.]

No Brenner Barriers Unless Necessary — Sobotka

Italy ‘far’ from being overwhelmed — de Maiziere

(ANSAmed) — Berlin, April 29 — Austrian Interior Minister Wolfgang Sobotka said Friday that “we are preparing structures at the frontier but we will not introduce barriers as long as the situation does not require that”. He was speaking with German counterpart Thomas de Maiziere of the “highly sensitive border” at the Brenner pass with Italy. Italy is “far from” being overwhelmed by migrants and would only need help if some 350,000 were to arrive, de Maiziere said. Italy is not afraid of the prospect of Austria building a fence at the Brenner Pass but there is not reason for Vienna to build one, Interior Minister Angelino Alfano said. “Italy certainly isn’t a country that lets itself get scared by a (fence),” he said. He said “we are working hard to control Italian itineraries so there is neither the motive not the excuse, not the pretext to build that fence”.

Sen. Jeff Sessions: ‘Sentencing Reform’ Bill Rewrite Will Release Even More Illegal Alien Drug Traffickers

“Moreover, this proposal would provide for leniency for illegal alien drug traffickers

A new version of a bipartisan sentencing reform bill is worse than the original version and will release many dangerous criminals back into American streets, says Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL).

“The revised bill still shortens mandatory minimums for repeat drug traffickers, including those who carried a gun, and would allow for early release of those currently in federal prison,” Sessions said in a statement that denounces the bill.

“Moreover, this proposal would provide for leniency for illegal alien drug traffickers. The criminal aliens who were responsible for the 2015 killing of Kate Steinle and the 2014 murders of California Detective Michael Davis, Jr. and Deputy Sheriff Danny Oliver had been earlier convicted for the same class of federal drug crimes that some in Congress now seek to roll back through this legislation,” he added.

Target Stock Has Lost $1.5 Billion in Value Since Letting Men in the Ladies’ Room

Ordinarily I would not root for any business to fail, even one of my own competitors. But when a major corporation tells the vast majority of its customers “f*** you” in order to appease radical social activists, it would really be a shame if those insulted customers just kept shopping there and made the corporation pay no price for its arrogance. The early returns suggest Target customers are doing no such thing.

Breitbart reports that Target stock has fallen $2.65 per share since the infamous announcement that Target will let confused men into its ladies’ restrooms and dressing rooms, which amounts to an overall reduction of $1.5 billion in the value of the company’s stock. I doubt that’s a direct result of any revenue drop caused by people boycotting Target, even though 1 million people have signed online petitions saying they intend to do so. Boycotts are never effective for long because after awhile people’s anger subsides and they return to their normal day-to-day habits.

Where I think there’s a chance that could be different is if people feel Target has been personally and deliberately insulting toward their values. And clearly, Target has. If even 10 percent of Target shoppers were so insulted by the company’s decision that they decided they’d rather shop at Meijer, Kroger or Wal-Mart, that could have a major impact on a chain that was already having some problems.

Target Stocks Slide After One Million Boycott Retailer Over Transgendered Policy

Target could lose over $1.5 billion annually

Target’s stock price has plummeted after over one million people boycotted the retailer over its transgendered bathroom stance.

The company’s stock dropped from $83.98 per share on April 19, when Target announced its new policy, to around $81.33 on April 28 when the petition hit one million signatures.

Target’s new policy allows “transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity,” the retailer stated in a press release which sparked nationwide condemnation.

“Target’s policy is exactly how sexual predators get access to their victims, and with Target publicly boasting that men can enter women’s bathrooms, where do you think predators are going to go?” The petition drafted by the American Family Association states. “Clearly, Target’s dangerous new policy poses a danger to wives and daughters.”

“We think many customers will agree.”

It certainly appears so, but just how bad will Target’s bathroom policy hurt the company’s bottom line?

Given that the average Target customer spends $62 per trip, according to credit card records, and that the customer conservatively visits the retailer twice per month, a boycott of one million people will likely cost the retailer $1.5 billion annually and perhaps even more.

“We should also consider that most people who decide to move their business from Target to some other retailer will likely never sign a petition,” Mark West with the Patriot Post reported. “They’ll simply leave Target in disgust as they see a company that has abandoned common sense values.”

“So it’s not far fetched to conclude that at the end of the day, the total financial impact to Target will be $5-10 billion in lost revenue annually, approximately 10% of its annual sales.”

Video: Crazed Feminists Harass Man for Filming “Whiteness History Month” Presentation

Police agree that harassment is “acceptable”

Crazed feminists surrounded and harassed a cameraman peacefully filming a “Feminism & Whiteness” presentation during Portland Community College’s “Whiteness History Month.”

After an instructor is seen asking her feminist horde to surround and block YouTuber LaughingAtLiberals (hereby LaL) from filming, they did so dutifully, as Michael Strickland noted, using both “papers and body fat.”

One “land whale” which was either a female or a male in transition, even rammed LaL, then tried to claim he rammed her.

LaL was eventually pretty much forced out, when he asked police whether or not their intimidation tactics were acceptable, Sgt. Terry Langly pathetically murmured “sure, it’s acceptable.”

In these times of war there is rarely anything to smile at never mind laugh uproariously as I am still doing, but this one takes the combat biscuit.

No wonder they are only successful when murdering, raping and blowing up unarmed innocents.

Were it not for the fact that they are obviously retarded sub-humans one could almost feel sorry for them. Almost.

God is indeed great, for us that is :):):)
