I Am Also a Slut!

I reported a couple of weeks ago on an incident in the Iranian city of Qom where a young woman angrily confronted a cleric for taking photos of her for not wearing a veil.

Below is a French follow-up to the story, which provides more background details on what happened. Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from France24:

#IAmAlsoASlut: Iranian women launch a hashtag against harassment by the mullahs

In a hospital in the very religious city of Qom, a woman, her sick child in her arms, was taken to task by a mullah because her veil was down on her shoulders. The video surveillance of the scene, posted on March 9, caused an outcry in Iran, women accusing the mullah, cell phone in hand, of wanting to report the mother using an app from the Islamic regime. Its users called the woman a “slut”… and unleashed a massive reaction on social media.

March 13, 2024

[Caption: Video appeared on March 9 on social media in Iran showing a young mother accusing a mullah of taking pictures of her and her child without asking her for permission. The mullah is accused of using an app furnished by the government.]

An initial excerpt of the video surveillance camera of the hospital shows the mother crouched in a corner, the veil on her shoulders, and her hair visible while a mullah stands nearby and uses his phone.

In a second excerpt. we see the angry mother, who accosts the mullah, whom she accuses of taking photos of her and her child without her permission. “Give me your phone, let me see the photo, and delete it,” she says. Several other women, some wearing hijabs, others not, come to her aid. One of them seizes the phone from the hands of the mullah and checks it.

A year and a half after the start of the demonstrations by the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement in September 2022, Iranian women reacted to these images with vehemence. The videos of the scene have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times on social media.

Many comments suggest that the mullah was using an app furnished by the government on his telephone, known under the name of “Nazer” (observer or informant in Persian). It is furnished to informers approved by the Iranian government, to notify authorities of violations of the wearing of the veil to which they are witness. The women who are reported receive “unveiling notifications” by text message, in some cases, sanctions such as the confiscation of their vehicle.

In this message posted March 9, 2024, Iranian women share excerpts from the video surveillance camera of a hospital in Qom, in which is seen the mother accusing the mullah of having taken photos of her with her sick child. The mullah is called a “dirty pig” because he is suspected of having used an app furnished by the government to report the young woman for not wearing hijab.

Putting the AfD Behind Bars

I posted last night about the case of a 16-year-old German girl named Loretta, who was pulled out of school by police after her principal reported her for obliquely supporting the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland, Alternative for Germany).

Neither the previous article nor the one below discuss what got Loretta in trouble. Here’s a reminder of what caused her to be arrested:

At the end of February, the girl was taken out of class in front of her fellow students and questioned by police, as first reported by German newspaper Junge Freiheit.

In her TikTok post, she asked “What do Germany and the Smurfs have in common: They are both blue.” The post was in reference to the AfD, which has blue party colors.

The appalling actions by the government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania have drawn international attention to the state. In response, the state government is attempting to do damage control by hiding all of its internal deliberations.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Junge Freiheit. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Schwesig government keeps school instructions under lock and key

The “Loretta case” concerns the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. New, explosive details have become known in a special meeting. The Union and AfD accuse Manuela Schwesig’s state government of a cover-up.

Schwerin

The state government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, led by Manuela Schwesig (SPD), is keeping a memo under wraps in which school principals were informed about how supposedly extremist students should be dealt with. This was reported by the education policy spokesman for the AfD parliamentary group in the state parliament, Enrico Schult, following a special meeting of the education committee on the “Loretta case”.

“It is not helpful at all that the Ministry of Education is withholding ‘case scenarios’ sent to all school management, in a memo, on February 22, 2024, to which the headmaster referred and which are intended to clarify how to proceed in alleged cases of danger. Why exactly? Do these systems contain politically tinged requirements?” criticized Schult after the meeting.

He asked whether “the police should be called for every politically unpopular post.” “Or what happens when teachers accidentally come across critical posts in the media made by their students? Should they make a report?”

Criticism of the school principal and the state government

The AfD politician renewed his criticism of the behavior of the director of the Ribnitz-Damgartener Richard-Wossidlo-Gymnasium, who contacted the police at the end of February and had 16-year-old Loretta picked up from class after he was given screenshots of the 16-year-old’s social media appearances . These were not criminally relevant. Nevertheless, the officers carry out a “kind of threat address,” as they told Junge Freiheit.

No Longer Welcome in Arnhem

I’ve reported a number of times on the Islamophobic actions of Edwin Wagensveld (the leader of the Dutch branch of Pegida), most recently his attempt to burn a Koran in Arnhem. His activities sometimes provoke a violent response on the part of “Dutch” culture-enrichers, and on more than one occasion have caused him to be arrested by police.

Mr. Wagensveld has become persona non grata in Arnhem, to the extent that he is now banned from entering the city. The ban was issued by the mayor — whose first name is Ahmed, which tells you all you need to know.

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from the Dutch online portal NU.nl:

Pegida leader gets 6-month local ban in Arnhem

March 21, 2024

Edwin Wagensveld, the leader of the radical-right group Pegida, cannot enter the city of Arnhem for six months. Mayor Ahmed Marcouch has imposed a local ban on Wagensveld. The ban goes into immediate effect.

Marcouch will reconsider the ban after three months, he has informed Wagensveld.

The Pegida leader wanted to burn a Koran next Saturday on Jans Square in Arnhem. On Wednesday, Marcouch forbade that on the advice of the police out of fear of chaos and because there would be concrete terrorist fears.

Wagensveld said on social media that he would definitely come to Arnhem on Saturday. The mayor reacted that the Pegida leader would definitely not enter Arnhem. Now Marcouch has imposed a local ban on him.

Wagensveld is not allowed to appear anywhere in Arnhem because of the ban. He is allowed to travel through Arnhem by train or bus but is not allowed to get off. Arnhem is a central station for trains to and from Germany, where Wagensveld lives. There is also an exception in the case that he might have to appear in the courthouse in Arnhem.

Police cannot guarantee safety

The mayor of Arnhem fears that the arrival of Wagensveld will attract groups and individuals who will try to stop him with violence or try to prevent his actions.

In addition, there are probably groups who also want to commit acts of violence. Marcouch speaks of a “high degree of probability.” There are concrete threats against the Pegida leader.

Marcouch expects that many more counter-demonstrators will come to Arnhem via calls on social media shortly before the demonstration, “which increases the unpredictability and thus, the uncontrollability of the anticipated serious disorder.” Police say safety cannot be guaranteed, even with the deployment of a large police presence.

Wagensveld tried to burn a Koran in Arnhem on January 13. That did not occur because there were many counter-demonstrators. The demonstration turned into riots and fights.

I Was Only Following Orders

The walls of censorship are closing in now in all Western nations. Some countries have it worse than others, notably Canada, the UK, and Germany. The following example illustrates the DDR-like conditions that exist now in the German Federal Republic.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Politically Incorrect:

An ordinary school principal and the Eichmann complex

The school principal Jan-Dirk Zimmermann from the northeast German province of Ribnitz-Damgarten has made national headlines in recent days. His unexpected popularity arose from his sucking up to the supposed spirit of the times, which demands political conformity.

He called the police to “his” school. Not because a crazy gunman threatened to massacre his classmates and teachers. No. Because of the student “Loretta”, who allegedly announced on social networks that Germany was not a speck on the map, but rather her home, and shared a Smurfs video on TikTok, he had the police called for no apparent reason to publicly expose and humiliate the student in front of her classmates. She was taken away by three police officers. The student’s desperate mother contacted the weekly newspaper Junge Freiheit about it. In his defense, Zimmermann said he was just following “rules.”

In doing so, he makes his sinister motives clear. The journalist Hannah Arendt (1906-1975) described this behavior, the reliance on regulations to suppress one’s own responsibility for evil, as the Eichmann complex. Arendt followed the Eichmann trial in Jerusalem in 1961 and published many articles about it.

Adolf Eichmann was a German-Austrian SS officer who had neither a degree nor completed professional training, but who fit seamlessly into the machinery of the organized extermination of Jews and took a leading position there. After successfully escaping to Argentina at the end of the war, he was arrested by the Israeli secret service and taken to Israel.

This happened because the words of the Frankfurt Nazi hunter and Attorney General Fritz Bauer fell on deaf ears by the German authorities, who showed no interest in Eichmann’s arrest and extradition. Adolf Eichmann denied his responsibility during the trial and stated that he had only followed “regulations”. He was sentenced to death and executed shortly afterwards.

It is symptomatic, both for National Socialists and for eco-socialists, not to take personal responsibility for the obvious evil they have caused and to denounce and report other fellow citizens who do not march in step. Yes, Zimmermann from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania found it really nice to report his student to the police for no reason, knowing full well that there was no crime. He was obviously comfortable with it.

This may not be an isolated case at this school. It seems to be a system. Also at other schools. There you also have “regulations”. The countless informers who anonymously report their fellow citizens to the numerous reporting centers set up by the state also feel good, even if it’s just out of spite. All these little Zimmermänner and all these little Eichmanns. The Eichmann complex is visible and audible everywhere. It’s always someone else’s fault or, if necessary, the “regulations”.

Olaf Scholz Meets With Benjamin Netanyahu

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday in Jerusalem. Below is a brief report on the press conference following the meeting.

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from Jüdische Allgemeine:

Netanyahu and Scholz: Hamas must be eliminated

“We have no future if Hamas, which is determined to carry out genocide against us, remains intact,” stressed the Israeli head of government.

March 17, 2024

After a conversation with the German Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz (SPD), Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu explains that he and his German guest are in agreement that “Hamas must be eliminated”.

There will be no peace as long as the Islamist terror organization remains in the Gaza Strip, said Netanyahu on Sunday in a joint press conference with Scholz in Jerusalem. “We have no future if Hamas, which is determined to carry out genocide against us, remains intact.”

On Friday Netanyahu approved a ground offensive in the town of Rafah on the Egyptian border. Before a planned offensive in Rafah, the civilian population will be brought to safety, Netanyahu said. Israel is also undertaking every effort to enable aid deliveries for the people in the Gaza Strip, “over land, over sea, and from the air.”

At a meeting with Netanyahu, Scholz emphasized that Israel has the right to defend itself against the terror of Islamist Hamas. At the same time, he expressed doubts as to the military action of Israel in the Gaza war in view of the high victim toll. He urged Netanyahu to rethink his strategy in the Gaza Strip.

In the five months or so of the war, the number of civilian victims has reached an extremely high level. “Many would say too high,” said Scholz. “No matter how important the goal may be, can such a terribly high cost be justified, or are there other ways to reach this goal?” Scholz asked.

Scholz arrived in Israel for a visit on the same day, the second since the start of the Gaza war on October 7.

In addition to Netanyahu, Scholz wanted to meet with President Isaac Herzog and Minister Benny Gantz, as well as relatives of hostages. It is believed that there are still about 100 of them alive. He previously met with Jordanian King Abdullah II in the Jordanian seaside resort of Akaba.

The federal Chancellor first traveled to Israel ten days after the Hamas attack to assure the nation of German solidarity. “Israel’s security and that of its citizens is a German state interest,” he said then. “Our responsibility growing out of the Holocaust makes it our duty to stand for the security and the existence of Israel.”

A Small Country Far Away

Our Israeli correspondent MC sends an update from Sderot, preceded by a reflection on the history of appeasement.

British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain shakes hands with German Chancellor Adolf Hitler in Munich, September 1938

A Small Country Far Away

by MC

Most people who are blind to Hamas’ atrocities probably think along the lines of Israel being “a small nation, far away”, with little understanding that Hamas is only as far away as the nearest CAIR or Muslim Council office. When Chamberlain waved his piece of paper in 1938, everybody (except the Czechs) heaved a sigh of relief.

What the world did not understand was that the Nazis (and all other socialists) are liars, and deceit is part and parcel of being a social humanist as well as being an Islamist.

Lying is a natural way of life. One reason the Ten Commandments were so revolutionary was that they forbade both ‘false witness’ and murder.

A corollary to the Ten Commandments and Torah is that every word and action that we take adds to or changes Creation and thus can we be judged at the appropriate time.

Kibbutz Beeri was a ‘socialist’ kibbutz as kibbutzim go, but Hamas is no respecter of any Western political nuances. The ‘useful idiots’ are always disposable once they become ‘useless idiots’, maybe even dangerous idiots, because they think they are deserving of rewards and privileges.

Both Communism and Nazism had the tendency to make that reward a bullet in the back of the neck…

Jews have been with us for some thousands of years. Thus there must be something unique behind Jewish culture. Those who do not believe that God is behind that culture should appreciate that there must be something special at the root of Judaism that makes it so persistent.

Secular humanists should take note: Socialism failed in France and turned to mass murder. It failed in Russia and turned to mass murder. It failed in Germany and turned to mass murder. Same with Cambodia and Cuba. Chinese communism resorted to mass murder even before firmly in power.

Is there a noticeable trend here? One would think not, judging by the avidity with which people try to repeat the socialist ‘experiment’ and hope for different results.

But Islam is probably the biggest mass slaughterer of all time, and we call it a “Religion of Peace”. Is this existential irony a part of that same insanity?

Those Ivy League universities which allow the persecution of Jews because woke-fake propaganda says that Jews are colonialists and settlers should read the real history of Israel and the Jews. The idea of the modern “Jewish Homeland” entered international law with the San Remo treaty in 1922. This treaty was included in the United Nations Charter under article 80, so EVERY signatory of the United Nations Charter accepted that Israel has the right to exist.

Gaza and “Judea and Samaria” were illegally occupied by Egypt and Jordan respectively when the world left Israel to the wolves and vultures in the 1948 War of Independence, when the Arab world tried to continue the work of the Holocaust, but were beaten back.

There has always been Jewish occupation of the land. If you dig a hole in Israel you find mainly Jewish, but also Roman, Philistine or Canaanite remains, but not ‘Palestinian’, because the current iteration of ‘Palestine’ was only invented in 1963.

Time Flies When You’re Having Fun

Our friend Covid-19 is four years old today — hard to believe, isn’t it?

Not everybody celebrates the anniversary on the same date. Some people identify the 16th as the day the “pandemic” began, when a lot of the lockdowns kicked in and the school closings started. But I prefer the Ides of March. It was a Sunday in 2020, when church was cancelled for the first time.

Happy Birthday, Wuhan Coronavirus!

When Islamization Deniers Celebrate Islamization

A previous version of this essay was first published in Norwegian at the website Document.no.

When Islamization Deniers Celebrate Islamization

by Fjordman

On March 10, 2024, the municipality of Oslo in Norway lit large Ramadan light displays for the first time outside the City Hall.[1] Predictably, the Islam-friendly state broadcaster NRK portrayed this as a positive step towards more diversity and tolerance.[2]

They did not mention that Ramadan is also a period of intensified Jihad, Islamic holy war. Ramadan is often marked by deadly Islamic attacks against non-Muslims.

March 12, 2024, marked the start of trial against Zaniar Matapour. He is the Islamic terrorist behind the attack in central Oslo on June 25, 2022, where two people were killed and 21 injured. 19 shots were fired before civilians managed to overpower the perpetrator.[3] During the trial, Oslo City Hall is decorated to celebrate the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan. Less than two years after Matapour’s deadly Jihadist attack, the city of Oslo thus publicly celebrates the ideology behind the terror attack, a few hundred meters away from the crime scene.

Before carrying out his deadly attack, Zaniar Matapour is said to have become “markedly more religious.”[4] He also pledged allegiance to the Jihadist terrorist organization known as the Islamic State (IS or ISIS).

The Ramadan lights in Oslo are said to mimic similar celebrations in London. But is British society really something to emulate today? Britain now resembles a broken nation, already partially on its knees to Islam, while persecuting individuals brave enough to speak this truth out loud.

When the author Melanie Phillips described the Islamization of British society in her 2006 book Londonistan, critics accused her of exaggerating. She didn’t.

Haitham al-Haddad, a British Islamic jurist and the chair of the Fatwa Committee for the Islamic Council of Europe, said in a panel discussing Muslims in the West in 2023 that the situation of Muslims in the West is a lot better than it was 20 years earlier. He said that if you go outside, you might think you are in a “second Afghanistan,” but it is in fact “Londonistan.” Al-Haddad said that Muslims in the West should not consider themselves a “subjected minority,” because they are the “leaders of humanity.”[5]

Under its Muslim mayor Sadiq Khan, London has become an increasingly crime-ridden city where white Britons are a shrinking minority. Muslim rape gangs have operated in many British cities for years and continue to do so.[6]

In January 2024, the Gay and pro-Israeli MP Mike Freer announced that he would not seek re-election at the next UK election due to concerns for his personal safety, following threats and attacks by militant Muslims.[7]

His fear was not unfounded. A Jihadist supporting the Islamic State (IS) terrorist group murdered the Conservative MP David Amess on October 15, 2021.[8] The terrorist had also considered attacking Freer.

Thousands of Muslims have publicly demonstrated in London and other cities in sympathy with the terrorist organization Hamas.[9] Pro-Palestinian Muslims have been so aggressive in confronting individual politicians that Prime Minister Rishi Sunak warned British police chiefs in February 2024 that “mob rule is replacing democratic rule.”[10] At the same time, the public is also warned against the alleged dangers of so-called Islamophobia.

Prime Minister Sunak denied that his party has “Islamophobic tendencies.”[11] He said comments made by Conservative politician Lee Anderson were unacceptable, and he was therefore suspended from the party. Anderson stated that the Mayor of London was under the control of Islamists.[12] Sadiq Khan described the comments as racist and Islamophobic, and that they would “pour fuel on the fire of anti-Muslim hatred.”

The Islam-critical Dutch politician Geert Wilders has been living under constant police protection for the past two decades. He has described this in his book Marked for Death: Islam’s War Against the West and Me.

Other Islam-critical politicians such as Filip Dewinter in Belgium have also been subjected to harassment and planned assassination attempts.[13]

More and more European writers, intellectuals, artists, politicians, and ordinary citizens are threatened by militant Muslims. A veil of censorship and Islamic threats, an Iron Burka, is descending upon Western Europe.

People who ask critical questions regarding claims about man-made climate change risk being labelled “climate deniers.” Perhaps we should rather introduce a new term that is more appropriate: Islamization deniers.

Putting Whitey in His Place

Based on the following article, the Culture Wars in Germany are at least as advanced as they are here in the Woke States of America. As far as “Deconstructing Whiteness” goes, Germany may even be ahead of us.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this piece from Apollo News. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Hatred of white people: Federal government finances new project that separates school children by skin colour

From March 11th, the “International Weeks Against Racism” will take place nationwide in Germany. Funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Family Ministry, children in Stuttgart are separated according to skin color, white people are declared a problem and Migrantifa events are supported.

The “International Weeks Against Racism” will take place again in Germany from March 11th under the motto “Human rights for all”. [That means, since white people are excluded, that they had their humanity and right to LIVE rescinded, now, doesn’t it?] And according to the organizers of the project days from the city of Stuttgart, “in view of the current social situation,” these have probably never been as important since the first event in 2008 as they are today. The aim of its events is to show that “not all people agree with the continuation of white privilege and the exclusion of BIPoC”(Black, Indigenous, (and) People of Color). [Since when are the indigenous WHITE people of Europe NOT indigenous to Europe?] Funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Family Ministry, four different project groups were launched, which are characterized by one thing in particular: the demonization of white people and the criminalization of those who think differently.

Apartheid 2.0 in the classroom

You can quickly see this if you look at the “school program” of the “Stuttgart Action Week”, for example. A total of 24 different projects were set up so that children and young people “actively deal with the topics of racism, prejudice, tolerance, identity and solidarity” — and the first one basically embodies nothing other than woke apartheid 2.0. At the “Empowerment and Sensitization” workshop, the school children are divided into two groups: There is a “sensitization workshop” for white children and an “empowerment workshop” for children with a migrant background.

As part of the “Sensitization Workshop” of the “Black Community Foundation Stuttgart”, children from the 9th grade onwards should recognize their “involvement in power structures” in order to be sensitized to “different forms of racism in everyday life” — because for a “white person who had never been confronted with racism” it is “impossible” to empathize with such situations. Accordingly, 15-year-old children are persuaded that racism against white people does not exist, while they, their families and their entire culture are declared to be a problem. Meanwhile, the “BIPoC” students should talk about their traumatizing experiences of racism in order to then “heal” together. [Divide, sow hate, then conquer and rule by brutal force is the agenda here. Nothing more and nothing less the precursor for more genocide on the native European populace.]

In other workshops, school classes can at least learn something together about “the deeper causes of everyday racism” — about how to weave “thinking critical of racism into the DNA of our community” in order to create a “diversity-oriented” future together. But there are also projects that aim to combat “fake news,” “hatred on the internet,” and “conspiracy thinking” — for example, the theater workshop “Actually, complexity isn’t a bad thing,” in which children aged 14 and over are supposed to learn “racist devaluation patterns and stereotypes”, including in the context of conspiracy theories.

The organizer of this workshop is the “Once Off Brainwash and Back” project from the Turkish Community in Baden-Württemberg eV — which, according to its website, is funded independently of the “Weeks Against Racism” by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs and by “Democracy Life!” Namely, to address the topic of “conspiracy myths” in all its facets: “Reptiles, the climate lie, the Islamization of Europe, Jewish world domination, chemtrails” or “Corona transmission through 5G”. So this means that children are being sold, that people who believe in alien lizard people, are just as crazy as people who don’t follow left-wing climate narratives or who warn about the consequences of mass migration.

Ruction at the Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam

The National Holocaust Museum was officially opened in Amsterdam on Sunday, but the occasion did not go off without a hitch. Massed pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered outside the building, chanting slogans and attacking the police. The protesters specifically objected to the presence of Israeli President Isaac Herzog at the ceremony.

The video below gives a brief account of what happened. Many thanks to Gary Fouse for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes and RAIR Foundation for the subtitling:

Below is an article from Algemeen Dagblad about the confrontation at the Holocaust Museum, also translated by Gary Fouse:

Holocaust museum opened in grim atmosphere, riot police have to keep demonstrators away

Update: King Willem-Alexander was greeted with boos today upon his arrival at the Holocaust Museum in Amsterdam and at his departure. The atmosphere in the demonstration on Waterloo Square became grim. Demonstrators are angry over the presence of the Israeli President, Isaac Herzog. Thirteen demonstrators were arrested.

Domestic editorial staff, March 10

During the condoning off between Waterloo Square and Visserplein in Amsterdam by police, several demonstrators climbed onto the police buses that were set up as a cordon. The police beat them away with batons. Later, the activists set off fireworks. Those flew over the cordon that police put up there.

Demonstrators then threw fireworks and eggs over the police buses at the police. On the buses, the demonstrators glued pamphlets with the head of the Israeli president, Isaac Herzog, with the text: “Wanted”.

Groups of demonstrators challenged each other in front of the door of the Holocaust Museum. A group of Palestinian supporters shouted slogans such as “shame on you” to a dozen pro-Israel demonstrators in an adjacent section. Who, for their part, defiantly waved Israeli flags.

In the pro-Israel section hangs a banner with photos of people who were abducted on October 7. The police come between both parties to calm the mood down. The atmosphere has now become grim. Police buses were shaken back and forth by demonstrators.

Around 3pm peace is restored in Amsterdam. A total of 13 demonstrators were arrested. The arrests were carried out, among other things, for disturbing public order and vandalism, such as throwing rocks and the destruction of a police bus. All suspects are still in custody and are being questioned, the police report. Among the suspects is a minor, according to a spokesperson.

Herzog calls for the hostages to be freed

In his speech at the opening of the Holocaust Museum, Herzog called for the release of Jewish hostages being held in Gaza. He feels that the Holocaust Museum is a reminder of “the horrors that come from anti-Semitism”. “Hate and anti-Semitism are now flourishing worldwide.” Herzog also said in his speech that “too many Dutch people” helped the Nazis, but he also spoke of the Dutch people who protected persecuted Jews.

King Willem-Alexander said in his speech at the opening of the National Holocaust Museum that “people must remain aware how the Holocaust began and how it went from bad to worse.” He described how the Sobibor Extermination Camp “began with a sign in the Vondelpark” on which was written “Forbidden for Jews”.

“This museum shows us how it happened, not so long ago,” said Willem-Alexander. The king presented a mezuzah to the great-granddaughter of the Holocaust survivor Rudie Cortissos. A mezuzah is a text casing with a fragment from the Torah, which according to Jewish customs, is placed on the doorpost of a Jewish home. Upon his arrival and departure from the Holocaust Museum, the king was treated to boos.

Protesters outside could be heard clearly in the synagogue as Willem-Alexander spoke. In the house of worship the chants of the protesters could be heard. What exactly they were yelling was not clear.

It’s Not a Good Time to Be a Jew in Swiss Schools

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from Blick:

Anti-Jewish attacks in school

‘“I’m giving you ten seconds, then you’re dead”

Threats, insults, bullying. In the last months, there have been numerous attacks on Jews (females and males) in Swiss schools. The Israeli Community Association says the problem has massively increased.

A summer day in 2023: Joshua* (14) is afraid. For the last few weeks he has been attending a new school. A Muslim classmate says to him, “When class is over, I’ll give you ten seconds to run — then you’re dead.”

Joshua knows: The reason for the threat is his religion, that he is Jewish. His parents come from Israel, and the family has been living in Switzerland for five years.

Now he sits there, panic grabbing him. Joshua calls his father. Teachers accompany him to the tram stop so that he can get home safely. The young boy who uttered the threat — and is waiting for him in front of the school — is 15 years old. He describes himself as a Hamas supporter and consumes terror propaganda on the Internet.

A.H. ** is also 15 years old and a consumer of Islamist propaganda. A few days ago, he stabbed an Orthodox Jew 15 times with a knife in the Selnau-Quartier (Zurich). The 50-year-old family father barely survived. The teenager-terrorist had sworn fidelity to the Islamic State (IS), and in a video announced, “he wanted to kill as many Jews as possible.” Now he sits in pre-trial custody.

The school did too little

His attack unleashed a debate about online radicalization and the limits of juvenile justice. The non-partisan government counsel, Mario Fehr, demanded that the perpetrator have his citizenship revoked.

The Jewish student, Joshua, continued to go to class after the incident in the summer, and in his case, the threat remained. Still, some schoolmates made it clear to him: In this schoolhouse, they were “on the side of the Palestinians.” After the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, the parents took their son out of the private day school. “Unfortunately, we did not go to the police then,” says Joshua’s father today. He regrets that because the school itself has done too little.

The school principal sees it differently. She indeed confirms the incident and says, “The attack was clearly motivated by anti-Semitism.” She also stresses, however, that “intensive” conversations with the parents and children were subsequently held. The Muslim student has consequently apologized to Joshua. Anti-Semitism is, furthermore, a recurring theme in education — described as “very demanding” by the principal. “Many students have acquired partial knowledge of the Middle East conflict from social media.”

Sports day cancelled

There are many attacks like that against Joshua. The escalation in the Middle East has led to a series of anti-Jewish incidents in schools. Many have resulted in the Jewish student having to change classes or even schools.

Sunday Blick knows of cases in several cantons. In December, for example, a conflict escalated in a public primary school in Zurich. A game and sports day had to be canceled because the mood among the students was heated. A Jewish girl was severely bullied.

German Comedian Says: Bash the Fash!

It seems the German establishment is moving closer to a ban on the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland, Alternative for Germany). A regime toady in the media is encouraging violence against “right-wing extremists” — a necessary step in the direction of a full ban on the party. Demonize first, then attack, and finally outlaw it: that’s the game plan.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from the online news portal Nius. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Kerkeling uses children’s films to glorify violence against right-wingers: “Ready to fight! You can’t end fascism through discussion!”

He wrote “I’ll be off then” and is afraid of “He’s back”!

In an interview with the news portal t-online, the German comedian Hape Kerkeling speaks of his fear that the AfD would turn Germany into a “dictatorship” after an election victory and thinks out loud about the fact that, beyond words and arguments, people “must be ready to fight.”

Kerkeling wants to ban the AfD

Kerkeling advocates banning the AfD as a lesson from history: “It should be avoidable today to allow the right to come to power in the first place. All I hear is that it would be too risky to ban this party. I find this argument to be downright grotesque. We have a basic law and that is clear. The legislature wanted to prevent the Federal Republic of Germany from ever becoming a dictatorship again. We are now faced with the problem, with the real possibility that Germany will become a dictatorship and within a very short period of time. The situation has never been so risky. Why don’t we try to ban the party?”

Given the rise of Alice Weidel’s AfD, Kerkeling sees the “real possibility” that Germany will become a dictatorship. [Says one that has been part and parcel of establishing another socialist dictatorship in Germany. Shows you again that these people that live close by the manger have only their own overflowing feeding frenzy trough at heart.]

Kerkeling does not differentiate between right-wing and right-wing extremists; he consistently speaks of “right-wingers,” which he would also fight against: “Because that is the enemy that can be identified most clearly at the moment. So defensive force used judiciously would be directed against them.” [Well, haven’t they already established their own brand of violent brown-shirts for decades and call them “Anti-fascists” to gull the gullible?]

There would be “fundamental truths and values” in Germany that everyone would have agreed on. “That must always be the basis of our society. Inflection Point: Biden Administration Must Pander to the Muslim Vote

by Clare M. Lopez

Topping the list this month has to be the Biden administration’s desperate outreach to Michigan Muslims in a must-win state it fears he may lose over his support of Israel. In early February 2024, Biden’s White House sent a clutch of senior officials to Michigan to listen to the foreign policy demands of Muslim voters there. No evidence the Biden admin’s groveling swayed any of Michigan’s Muslim electorate, but its shameful public appeasement certainly showed our ally Israel — and the rest of the world, friends and enemies alike — what its pledges of friendship really mean.

  • [Editor’s Note — A former French President expressed support for Israel, but retracted it after one of his ministers pointed out the fact that France has a lot of Muslim residents and expressing support for Israel was no longer smart as a matter of domestic politics. It appears the Democrat Party in the U.S. has reached the same inflection point.]
