Michael Copeland has compiled an eclectic set of references concerning the ninth surah of the Koran, whose violent commands abrogate all of the earlier peaceful verses.
Koran: Read Chapter Nine

Read chapter nine of the Koran. This is important. The text is easily available online. The website corpus.quran.com shows parallel translations and has a “word by word” breakdown and other features.
Why is chapter nine important? It is because this is the final and latest “revelation” allegedly given to Mohammed, which overrides everything elsewhere.
Some background explanation is needed. The Koran is not arranged chronologically. The chapters are placed with the longest first and the shortest last. Accordingly, the subject matter jumps all over the place, and makes the book very confusing. About one fifth of it does not make sense and has to be “interpreted”. The language is archaic: even Arabic speakers find it difficult. Most Muslims, though, are not Arabic speakers. They are, however, instructed how to read the script, and are required only to memorise it and recite it, an action that is highly esteemed. Not required to understand what they recite, they depend on their imams to explain what it says. Imams are thus in a considerable position of control, and have for years made use of various lies, for instance the “perfect preservation” of the text (as proclaimed by Yaser Qadhi), when Islam’s own trusted sources record many historic changes.
An important aspect of the Koran is that all of it forms part of Islamic law. This is no light matter: Islam is not Pick-Your-Own. Koran 33:36 explains:
“It is not for a believer, man or woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decreed a matter that they should have any option in their decision.”
Citing this verse, Dr. Salah as Sawy, who is Secretary General for the Assembly of Muslim Jurists in America (the Association of Lawyers for Sharia in America), gave this ruling:
“For things which have been stipulated in the texts of Islam, the Muslim community possesses no power except to acknowledge and obey…”
“Acknowledge and obey”: that is the instruction. Muslims have to submit. Islam means Submission. Submission, of course, is one end of a relationship. The real importance is in the other end — Control.
“No one can regard any field of his affairs as personal and private”, wrote the revered scholar Maududi in his 1960 book The Islamic Law & Constitution. Islam is a system of control, “all-encompassing”, as Tariq Ramadan expressed it. “Islam Is The Perfect System For All Mankind”, announces a placard held by an unidentifiable niqab-clad Muslim woman.
Denying any verse of the Koran brings the death penalty. This may be carried out vigilante-style by anyone without legal repercussion, “since it is killing someone who deserves to die” (Manual of Islamic Law, Reliance of the Traveller, o8.4). In Islam your brother doubles as your executioner.
Abrogation
The text of the Koran contains statements which contradict each other. The way that Islamic teaching copes with this is by the doctrine of Abrogation. Under this doctrine the later revelation “abrogates” the earlier. For this it is necessary to know which chapters are later than which others. With chapter nine there is no problem. It is the latest complete chapter, and “abrogates” all previous texts that disagree with it. Esteemed scholar Sheikh Al-Shawkani (1759-1834) says:
“[The verses] about forgiving them [the unbelievers] are abrogated unanimously by the obligation of fighting in any case.”
The significance of chapter nine, the “Sura at Tawba”, is that it sets out Islam’s instruction of permanent hostility to non-Muslims, kafirs, involving their subjugation, extortion, or else killing. It also contains the justification for suicide bombing.

The illustrious gentlemen in the photo above made the hijrah to Syria in the early days of the “Arab Spring” to volunteer for jihad in the path of Allah. It’s unlikely that they were motivated to do so for financial reasons — after all, the entity that eventually became known as the Islamic State was not renowned for paying its soldiers lavishly. Mind you, some of them may have been lured by the possibility of free chicks (and when the Yazidi and Christian communities were eventually overrun, they got their chance). However, we may presume that their primary motive was one of religious fervor. One thing that Islam is good at is ginning up fanatical zeal among its followers.
Fervent zeal is the product of reform within Islam, and that reformation has already occurred.
The current wave of Islamic zealotry may be traced to the formation of the Muslim Brotherhood (Al-Ikhwan al-Muslimeen) in 1928 in Egypt by Hassan al-Banna. The Brotherhood was formed to return Islam to its roots, but it was hardly the first such reform. Waves of fanaticism had occurred periodically before that, including the Sudanese Mahdiyya, which achieved notoriety in 1885 by slaughtering General Gordon in Khartoum.
Islam is prone to these periodic spasms of reformation due to the instructions laid down in its foundational texts. A righteous believer is required by those texts to fight against unbelievers and massacre or enslave all those who refuse to submit and convert to Islam. If he is killed while fighting jihad in the path of Allah, the believer is rewarded with access to the highest level of paradise, where he may partake of banquets and wine and lots more of those free chicks (or “young boys fresh as pearls”, according to his taste). If he survives the jihad, he may share the booty and slaves with his fellow mujahideen and enjoy the perquisites of the victor during his time here on Earth.
Most infidels don’t realize that when reform in Islam occurs, it looks exactly like what is commonly known as “Islamic extremism”. When Islam gets back to basics, it slits throats and subjugates women. It’s in the Koran! (See the Michael Copeland’s extensive compilations for more information about the scriptural basis for Islamic slaughter and brutality.)
I bring all this up because of insightful remarks made by a commenter named Jason on Friday’s post about reform in Islam:
There is a lot that can be said about reforming Islam, but there is one fact that most people seem to miss.
Islam is winning. You don’t reform winning strategies.
It is the losers that need to reform. That’s us.
He’s got a good point there. I’ve often said that the West is currently losing the struggle against the Great Jihad, not because Islam is more powerful or has superior strategies, but because we infidels have preemptively surrendered to it.
Since we have largely abandoned our Christianity, we have nothing left to fight back with. Once upon a time we responded to jihad by organizing the Crusades. Nowadays we heap up teddy bears and light candles.
When those who have a spiritual void within themselves go forth to do battle with righteous zealots, they will invariably lose, regardless of better technology or superior weaponry.
My intuition tells me that when the scimitar is at his throat, the average atheist will submit. It’s so easy just to say the shahada and go through the forms — that plus zakat is all that Islam requires. Yes, there are occasional atheists who are willing to put their lives on the line for their principles — Lars Vilks comes to mind — but they are rare.

Koran: The Book of Kill Them

The Koran, Islam’s book, is “dripping with murderous levels of hatred”, as a critic put it. “Kill them,” it commands, of non-Muslims, kafirs, “Kill them wherever you find them.” (2:191, 9:5) “Between us [Muslims] and you enmity and hatred forever.” (60:4) “When you meet the kafirs strike the necks.” (47:4) Kafirs are “filthy” (9:28), “the vilest of beasts” (8:55), “a clear enemy to you” (4:101): “Do not take them as allies.” (4:89) “Let them find harshness in you” (9:123); “Fight the unbelievers until they pay the jizya [extortion tax] … in a state of subjection.” (9:29) Muslims are “the best of peoples raised up for mankind” (3:110), “merciful to each other, ruthless to the kafir.” (48:29)
These are not quaint Old-Testament-type exhortations from their historical time, like “Slaughter the Amalekites and Hittites.” The Koran, all of it, forms part of Islamic law. These are current instructions of Islamic law. “Muslims must kill kafirs wherever they are unless they convert.” said Ali Gomaa, the Grand Mufti of Egypt. “Islam says: kill all of the kafirs. Jihad stands for killing all kafirs. Prophet had sword to kill people,” thundered Ayatollah Khomeini. “Enmity and hate shall forever reign between us,” wrote Osama bin Laden. “Jews and Christians are filthy. Their lives and property can be taken by the Muslims in jihad,” preached Yasir Qadhi in Tennessee. “Allah, strike the Jews and… the Christians, Allah, count them and kill them to the last one” — Al-Aqsa TV (palwatch.org 2010-12-03).
The Koran is promoted as “valid from eternity to eternity,” explains Sam Solomon, a former professor of Islamic law. Its instructions are “universal and trans-time,” says Ahmed Saad, the imam of North London Central Mosque. “None may change his words,” says Koran 18:27. Denying any verse instantly makes a Muslim an apostate, one who has left Islam, a kafir. The punishment is death, with a sinister twist: the killing may be performed vigilante-style by anyone. There is no penalty, “since it is killing someone who deserves to die.” (Manual of Islamic Law, Reliance of the Traveller, o8.4) Islam is a tyranny held in place by fear. “If they had gotten rid of the punishment for apostasy Islam would not exist today”, said the famed scholar and broadcaster Yusuf al Qaradawi.
For kafirs the Koran is the Book of Kill Them, the Book of Enmity and Hatred. Islam is opposed to Christianity and Judaism, in fact all other religions, and atheism: in Saudi Arabia atheists are beheaded. Islam is much more than prayers: it is a system of governance, in Arabic a deen, with its own body of laws. “Islam is the perfect system for all mankind, Man-made laws go to Hell,” say the placards, “Ban Democracy, Implement Islam!, Islam will dominate.” Mullah Krekar explained, “Islam is not like Christianity. Our Islam is political.” Islam’s deen opposes democracy, and indeed any kind of governance other than Islamic. “Fight unbelievers”, says 8:39 “until all the deen is for Allah.” Islam has to dominate: it must be spread “by persuasion or by force” (Ibn Khaldun) to form a global Caliphate. “If anyone desire a deen other than Islam never will it be accepted of him,” says Koran 3:85.

Penetrated U.S. Government Works with Islamic Terror Charity

Four different UN agencies “have partnered with and accepted [millions of dollars] from the terrorism-affiliated NGO Qatar Charity,” which presents itself as a humanitarian organization.
“Qatar Charity” has been sanctioned for links to Islamic terrorism by several Arab countries and remains affiliated with the “Union of Good” umbrella organization that is banned by the U.S. Treasury Department because of funding provided to HAMAS. “Qatar Charity” nevertheless has worked with USAID (US Agency for International Development) and several UN agencies as well. Among those UN agencies is UNRWA (UN Relief & Works Agency), which is closely affiliated with HAMAS, and the UNHCR (UN High Commission on Refugees). Another UN recipient of Qatar Charity funding is the International Organization of Migration (IOM), which is deeply involved with moving illegal aliens across the U.S. southern border.

Three imams expelled from Spain and almost 30 banned from jails in past year

Spanish authorities expelled three imams from Spain who were considered a danger to national security in 2022, a year that also saw some 30 bans of Islamist preachers who wanted to perform religious assistance in jails, due to their radical profile.
This is reported in the “Report of Terrorism in Spain 2022”, published in the July edition of the Notebooks of the Memorial Center for Victims of Terrorism, the institution directed by Florencio Dominguez and whose head of Research and Documentation is Gaizka Fernandez Soldevilla.
According to the report, consulted by Europa Press [Spanish news agency], in 2022 “officials of penitentiaries banned almost 30 imams from entry into jails to perform religious assistance who had previously been identified as extremists by security services.”
Using figures from the beginning of 2023, there are 173 prisoners included in the control groups of radical Islam: 80 included in the file FIES-A — counting both pre-trial and sentenced; 39 in FIES-B for common crimes but later involved in radical activities; and another 54 inmates in FIES-C, for leading incidents derived from a radical interpretation of the Islamic religion or for early signs of radicalization.
Spread of Salafism
The report of the Memorial Center for Victims of Terrorism points out that Spain, like other European nations, resorts to the deportation of religious leaders who preach extremist interpretations of Islam, a task that extends to the prison environment, a habitual focal point of radicalization.
The first of the expelled imams was from the mosque in the town of Talayuela in Caceres, Yahya Benouda, 51. Investigated since 2006, he was reported by the General Commissariat of Police Investigation as the “maximum exponent” in the spread of Salafism in the Muslim community in the region of this municipality of some 7,000 inhabitants, according to the report ratified by the National Court.
In the report prefaced by Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska, it is emphasized that the security services of Spain affirm that the expelled preacher had an “affinity” with the radical Moroccan movement, “Justice and Charity”, as well as with the Muslim Brotherhood.
“He exhorts men in their homes to enforce that women do not leave the home alone, that they dress in Islamic garb, with face or hair covering, including little girls, and that they do not work outside of the home,” notes the file on Benouda.
This preacher spread a “rigorous and radical interpretation of Islam that is not conducive to the integration into Western society and favors segregation of and discrimination against women,” given that he “advocates the application of sharia above the Spanish legal system.”
The following news report from France discusses a program that has been implemented by the municipal government of Marseille that provides a downloadable app to be used by seaside bathers when they are harassed on the beach. When a bather sends an alarm, a “mediator” receives a signal, and sends someone (who? A cop? The reporter doesn’t say) to assist the distressed holiday-goer.
The subtext to the story is, of course, that the sexual harassment being reported is by and large perpetrated by culture-enrichers. This fact is never mentioned, but anyone who is familiar with the demography of Marseille knows that the vast majority of unwanted sexual advances are made by young men with an African or Maghrebi background.
Interestingly enough, the mediator featured in the report is himself a North African culture-enricher, and at least one of the sunbathers interviewed appears to be of African descent.

Riots in France: It’s the last warning

The urban riots following the death of the young Nahel probably constitute the last warning before the rupture of civil peace in France. A rupture that can take the form of civil war or an outright and clear separation between the territories in the hands of France and others under the influence of communities of foreign origin.
Police stations and Gendarme barracks attacked, city halls set on fire, the particular residence of a mayor attacked in the middle of the night, so many insurrectionist acts, for which only a leader, an organization, and a manifesto are missing.
The thugs who terrorized France for a week have neither leader nor organization. But they have a claim, in the absence of a manifest on glossy paper: They cry their hatred for France. They attack its symbols with a relentlessness that underlines their primary motivation: To say to France that they are not French and they will never become French.
If there is a single lesson to be learned from the traumatic episode that just happened, it is that assimilation has not worked. The overturned vehicles and the broken windows cry out the absolute failure of a “Republican dream”, which consisted of making millions of Arabs and Africans into French in one or two generations. As if by “spontaneous generation”.
This failure is a narcissistic wound for France on two levels. She is no longer seductive, or seductive enough, to convert foreigners to her civilization. She is no longer able to understand human nature because she has seen in immigrants bodies and not souls. The bodies may be subjected to work or even seduced by social benefits, but the soul, she doesn’t want to hear about symbols and spirituality. France today is unfortunately a land devastated on the symbolic and spiritual level: the factories of symbols that were the churches are deserted, and nobody believes in anything anymore.

EU buys help against asylum mafia — for €900 million in tax money
Illegal migration to Italy is increasing massively. Now Tunisia should help out. Even before the vessels set off for Europe, they are supposed to be stopped by Tunis. The EU Commission is making a proud €900 million available for this.
Italy is currently experiencing an explosive increase in illegal migration. More than 75,000 migrants have arrived on Italy’s shores since the beginning of the year. That is more than twice as many as in the same period last year, when there were around 31,900. One of the most important transit countries is Tunisia. A new deal between Brussels and Tunis is now intended to slow down the influx.
The deal: the EU is helping the economically ailing country with massive financial aid; in return Tunisia is doing more against the trafficking mafia.
€100 million for rescue operations and repatriations
EU Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, the heads of government of the Netherlands and Italy and Tunisia’s President Kais Saied announced the signing of the relevant declaration of intent in Tunis. The EU Commission will make a proud €900 million available for the North African country.
Tunisia, on the other hand, is supposed to reduce departures to Europe and therefore do more than before to combat people-smugglers and illegal crossings. The EU Commission wants to make a good €100 million available for search and rescue operations and the repatriation of migrants. This corresponds to three times the amount with which Brussels recently supported the country on average each year. Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni in particular had pushed for an agreement. Rome wants the boats leaving Tunisia to be stopped earlier on their way to southern Italy.
Von der Leyen: “Have a good package” [And how much is her commission from that “package”?]
A good month ago, EU politicians were already in Tunisia for talks to initiate the deal. “We have a good package. Now it’s time to implement it,” von der Leyen said. Tunisia’s President Saied declared: “We are determined to implement them as quickly as possible.” When it came to migration, he spoke of an “inhuman situation” that had to be solved collectively.
