Corona News From Brazil

The two videos below report on different aspects of the Corona crisis in Brazil. Many thanks to José Atento for the translations, and to Vlad Tepes and RAIR Foundation for the subtitling.

The first video shows an empty Intensive Care Unit in a Brazilian hospital. The narrative about the Wuhan Coronavirus requires that ICUs be “overflowing”, that hospitals be “overwhelmed”, and that medical staff must be “stretched to the limit.” The reality, however, is often somewhat different:

The second video contains advice from Dr. Raissa Soares, who advocates early treatment and the use of various medications to mitigate the worst symptoms of COVID-19:

M1911

The following essay by our Israeli correspondent MC serves as an appropriate companion to H. Numan’s piece posted earlier tonight. It’s good to have persepctives from abroad on what’s happening here in the Nation Formerly Known as the United States of America.

American Socialism is like playing Russian Roulette with an automatic pistol: there are just too many individualists and too many pistols for a quiet transition to the average socialist utopia.

We have loaded the Biden bullet into the magazine of our 1911 pattern Colt along with a few blanks, and we put it to our collective temple thinking that the blanks are benign.

So here we are, all set. What chance do we have of surviving?

The USA is on the brink of a full-scale Fascist bullet in the bonce, but through ignorance and misdirection, they are unaware that even the blanks are dangerous. One can, if one is stupid enough, play Russian roulette with a revolver and get away with it most of the time, but a semi-automatic pistol is going to kill you every time you pull the trigger (sic), blank or ball.

I lived under socialism for decades; I saw it creep and corrode society until it destroyed the mechanisms that allowed the poor to prosper and the intelligent to be fulfilled.

It starts with education, the process of giving men and woman an asset that they can sell in the employment marketplace, an asset that does not go away, and can be sold and resold on a daily basis.

I profited enormously by being selected for an academic education, and from being groomed as a manager of men, as an intellectual capable of self-learning. But that door, the one that I came through, was eventually slammed shut by socialists, socialists who wanted the utopian equality of outcomes rather than the achievable equality of opportunity.

My paternal grandfather was a coalminer from Yorkshire (the other one, the Jewish one, was a Stoker in the Royal Navy). The miner was a convener of the ILP (Independent Labour Party); whereas the ‘Labour’ party was a country club for rich gentlemen who could not make it in the Liberal or Tory parties of the time, the ILP wanted to get real actual working men and women into Parliament. Arthur, my grandfather, believed in education, and he got his four sons and one of his two daughters through to ‘school certificate’ (high school graduation). My father’s education was interrupted by the War, but his younger brother went on to get a bachelor’s degree, unheard of at the time.

Socialism, with its roots in 19th-century romanticism, cannot admit to being wrong. Pragmatically, we all have different IQs and abilities, but within the socialist romance we are all born equal. Romance is a genre where outcomes follow predictable and desirable courses and the heroes and heroines all live happily ever after, but in politics, romanticism is dangerous, and the outcomes can be dire.

‘Equality’ is always a hard and elusive master. The romantics pictured a happy state led by an elite (themselves) of ‘virtuous’ administrators. A lovely comfortable picture — for cows and sheep!

Joseph, he of the ‘technicolor’ dreamcoat, was set apart by his father who recognized his potential. But his brothers just saw what they perceived as his, Joseph’s, arrogance. So they sold him into Egyptian slavery, they squandered their greatest family asset through petty jealousy.

But Joseph was blessed by Yahovah, and as such, he would have succeeded in any situation. His brothers would have prospered greatly if they had been a little less self-obsessed.

Imagine, if the brothers had revered Joseph instead of despising him, then Egypt would have come begging to them for food rather than their having to go to Egypt.

I lived in South Africa during the final years of Apartheid. It was an eye opener. Whilst apartheid stifled growth, it preserved identities and allowed cultural interaction at a level that was ‘defined’ by the idea that high walls made good neighbours; Africans were allowed to defecate in the gutter, whites were not. Apartheid has inbuilt elements of paternalism and socialism; as well as preserving cultural integrity, it gave a defined role to the Afrikaner (Boer = farmer).

Mexican President: Facebook is “Like the Holy Inquisition”

In a speech last Friday Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador chided Facebook for its arrogance and censorship. Below are excerpts from his remarks as posted by the German-language service of RT.

Do They Really Mean It?

Last night’s post about French President Emmanuel “Toy Boy” Macron started a conversation in the comments about whether or not Mr. Macron sincerely wants to stop (or slow) the encroachment of Islam in France. The translated article concerned the French President’s requirement that the French Council of Muslim Worship come up with a plan for regulating the training of imams in France and removing foreign influences from the process.

The consensus seems to be that Mr. Macron is trying to poach some support from Marine Le Pen of National Rally, who would probably win the next presidential election if it were held today. With every incident of deadly violence that escapes the banlieues and impacts the lives of ordinary native French people, the more voters turn to Ms. Le Pen.

Emmanuel Macron may have a vestigial sense of French identity and culture, but he is clearly an opportunist. In his lofty position as head of state, he can hardly be unaware of the dire peril that Islamization poses to the French state. In my opinion — which is not based on statistics, since the French government has for many years prohibited the collecting of statistics on ethnicity and religion in France — the country has already passed the point of no return. France will become an Islamic republic within a generation at most.

If Mr. Macron and his handlers are aware of these facts — and one must assume they are — then they are simply maneuvering to give themselves the best possible positions of advantage during the rapidly dwindling time in which non-Muslims retain control of the French government. And, as someone pointed out in the comments, the president may well be keeping an eye on the military, which has its own agenda concerning Islamic violence.

I’ve been watching the careers of Emmanuel Macron, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, and British Prime Minister Boris “BoJo” Johnson since long before they achieved daily prominence in the news headlines. Despite their widely differing personalities and styles, they seemed to be cut from the same political cloth: ambitious, unprincipled, unscrupulous men who would do whatever it took to achieve and maintain their positions of power.

Truths and Lies

Our Israeli correspondent MC weighs in on next Tuesday’s presidential election in the USA.

Truths and Lies

by MC

For Islam, ‘truth’ is what you can deceive the unbeliever into believing, so a ‘religion of peace’ can be easily confused with a ‘religion of submission’ by a slight difference of ‘interpretation’ in translation.

For the soft communist, the modern Democrat, ‘truth’ is whatever you decide that you want it to be. In effect, these two ideals are the same, the sole difference being that one was drafted in a pre-Darwin era, the other in a post-Darwin era. Islam is pre-Darwin, and thus it has to struggle with the idea of a creator who conforms to the vicissitudes of humanity in the form of Mohammed. Post-Darwin, even this limitation is removed.

We know that Islam is untrustworthy, and that everything a Muslim communicates to an unbeliever carries the potential for deceit, but do we ever apply the same standard to the soft communism of modern-day Democrats?

If you are an atheist, you believe that no deity will ever hold you to account for your lies (or truths for that matter), and that therefore, if you can stopper your human critics and accusers, then the lie becomes the de-facto ‘truth’.

Since Western Civilization was founded upon the ideas of honesty and accountability, then what is left after the communist/Islamic takeover? Barbarianism? Tyranny?

Every vote for Biden is thus a vote for an amoral man who will eventually enslave you.

Only Judeo-Christianity has fought slavery. Destroy Judeo-Christianity, and you and I will become slaves once more.

Luckily, these soft communists are greedy and, like their hard Communist predecessors in Russia and other places, seek to line their own pockets and enhance their own lifestyles at public expense. They get careless and leave incriminating evidence in computer shops and on email servers.

But what happens next is critical.

One of the things we have learnt over the last four years is just how limited the power of the President is when faced with this same godless treachery. A Western nation relies on the morality and integrity of its leaders, no matter of what political persuasion. When faced with mass amorality, even a moral president is almost powerless.

We had eight years of an amoral President, eight years in which the USA lost the trust of many nations. Here in Israel, especially here in Sderot, we viewed with horror the previous President’s embargo on Iron Dome missile replacements because he considered Ben Gurion airport ‘unsafe’ during the last conflict with Gaza.

Now we find that Joe is pushing the green New Deal. Like the Nazi’s Hunger Plan, the DNC has a prime purpose: to starve millions to death by tampering with their food supply. The Hunger Plan was a cynical exercise to emasculate and destroy the Eastern European Slav population by starvation. It was estimated that it would destroy thirty million Slavic Untermenschen, but due to the failure of the invasion of Russia it only killed about five million.

The Ukraine is the breadbasket of Eastern Europe in the same way as the Midwestern prairies and Central Valley of California are to the USA. Both Hitler and Stalin could not resist the temptation to meddle with Ukrainian food production, and between them managed to kill tens of millions of people by slow starvation.

Not a nice way to die…

But this is what the Green New Deal will do to the USA. The denial of fossil fuels will implode farms and farming, and battery power will not rise to the occasion, firstly because the rare earth elements which battery manufacturing requires are, well, rare, and secondly because batteries do not create electricity, they only store it. So how will the required electricity be generated?

A Fatality During COVID Vaccine Tests in Brazil

Many thanks to MissPiggy for translating this article from the German news outlet N-TV:

Astrazeneca in focus again

Man dies after testing Corona vaccine

October 21, 2020

The EU has a contract with Astrazeneca for its supply of doses. Now, a volunteer has died in Brazil during a study by the pharmaceutical company on the Corona vaccine. Despite that, the tests will be continued on human subjects.

A test subject died during the study of a corona vaccine from the pharmaceutical company Astrazeneca in Brazil. This was confirmed by the Brazilian health watchdog, Anvisa. Earlier, Brazilian media reported on it. The vaccine was developed by the British-Swedish company in collaboration with the University of Oxford. According to the company, Anvisa had already been informed on Monday. The recommendation is to continue the tests. The case is currently under investigation and data on volunteers must be treated confidentially.

According to CNN Brasil, the dead man is a 28-year-old man from Rio de Janeiro who died from complications related to Covid-19. The Brazilian newspaper “O Globo”, however, reported, citing sources who did not want to be named for legal reasons, that the volunteer in question had received a placebo rather than the vaccine. Officially, neither the laboratory nor the test centres nor Anvisas commented on questions at first.

Astrazeneca had already temporarily halted clinical trials for its promising Corona vaccine in September and apparently not for the first time. The vaccine AZD1222 was thought to be one of the promising candidates among the potential Corona vaccines. If a link between the volunteer’s death and the vaccine emerges, it would be a major blow to the project.

The vaccine is currently being tested by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) in a so-called rolling review procedure. In this procedure, data from the clinical trial are submitted and evaluated on an ongoing basis. The EU has already concluded a framework agreement with Astrazeneca for the supply of dosages.

Brazilian Social Media and the Deep State Conspire to Overthrow Jair Bolsonaro

Allan dos Santos is a journalist and the founder of the Terça Livre, a Brazilian website and online media outlet. In the following video Mr. Dos Santos talks about the efforts of the Brazilian Supreme Court, working in tandem with Facebook and other social media — apparently with the help of China and North Korea — to undo the election of President Jair Bolsonaro.

Many thanks to José Atento for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

The article below from Terça Livre (also translated by José Atento) discusses the same issues that Mr. Dos Santos describes in the video:

Former employees accuse Google and Facebook of global censorship

An article by Bruno Rodrigues in the Brazilian online magazine Terça-Livre reported today (July 31st) they had access to a joint letter of complaint signed by a former Google employee and two other former Facebook employees addressed to members of the United States House Judiciary Committee accusing both platforms of running a censorship project called ‘Machine Learning Equity’, which they compared to a global pandemic.

The six-page document pointed to a series of accusations against social networks of censorship applied to conservatives or liberals “more aligned to the right.”

In the letter, Zach McElroy, a former Facebook content moderator, Zach Vorhies, a former Google software engineer, and Ryan Hartwig (photo), a former Google content creator, say censorship “is not just a domestic concern, “but a global pandemic that has infected the world in a major way.”

Wuhan Coronavirus: An Engine of Economic Destruction

The two videos below discuss the economic effects of the COVID-19 crisis from two very different points of view. Many thanks to Hellequin GB for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling.

In the first video, an unidentified German pundit on RT gives an outline of the economic effects of the coronavirus from an establishment perspective. What I find creepy is the footage of Merkel, Macron, and other political leaders mingling with each other in their masks, doing elbow-touches:

The second video is a rant by Gerald Grosz, an Austrian politician for the BZÖ (Bündnis Zukunft Österreich, Alliance for the Future of Austria) and the FPÖ (Freiheitliche Partei Österreichs, Austrian Freedom Party). Mr. Grosz has a decidedly Coronadissident perspective:

Follow the Science — NOT

The parallels between Donald Trump and Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro continue to accumulate. The latest example concerns the use of the drug hydroxychloroquine to fight COVID-19. Like President Trump, President Bolsonaro has publicly touted the value of hydroxychloroquine as a treatment. And, also like President Trump, he has been ridiculed for doing so and condemned by the media, which continue to denigrate the value of the drug.

The two brief videos below concern hydroxychloroquine and its use by President Bolsonaro. Many thanks to José Atento for the translations, and to Vlad Tepes and RAIR Foundation for the subtitling.

The first video shows Jair Bolsonaro taking a dose of hydroxychloroquine and proclaiming its efficacy:

In the second video a journalist named Alexandre Garcia, who apparently works for CNN Brasil, describes the absurdity of the media campaign against hydroxychloroquine:

Jair Bolsonaro: The Goal is to Remove Me From the Presidency

The video below is a follow-up to several posts (most recently here) about the Brazilian Deep State’s efforts to overthrow President Jair Bolsonaro.

Here in the USA, the executive arm of the Deep State consists of the Democrats and RINO Republicans in Congress, plus parts of the Department of Justice and other elements of the permanent bureaucracy. In Brazil the Supreme Court is charged with doing most of the dirty work.

Brazil’s Supreme Court Targets Jair Bolsonaro

The Brazilian Supreme Court seems to be acting as the executive arm of the Deep State in Brazil, as reported here most recently last week.

The video below from Brazilian TV discusses the latest tactics of the Supreme Court in its campaign against President Jair Bolsonaro. A journalist named Guilherme Fiuza is the featured panelist.

Many thanks to José Atento for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:

The translator also sends his original article about the machinations of the Supreme Court:

In an illegal operation, Brazil’s Supreme Court tries to criminalize support for Bolsonaro

by José Atento

Brazil’s Federal Supreme Court (STF) is composed of lawyers (not necessarily real judges) mostly appointed by the previous Socialist governments of the past two decades. For example, Minister Alexandre de Moraes was a lawyer for the notorious criminal group PCC, which has connections with the FARC. Moraes was never a judge, like most of the members of the Supreme Court. One may correctly say that the Supreme Court has been populated by Marxist activists disguised as “ministers” (that is how members of STF are designated) throughout the years.

Instead of doing its work to decide whether or not laws from parliament or decisions from the lower courts contradict the Constitution, the Supreme Court has turned into the main opposition to the government of president Bolsonaro, and has enacted several rules that in practice constrain the action of the federal government. Such decisions are always acclaimed by the Marxist-leaning mainstream media both in Brazil and overseas. The latest was the decision that the fight against COVID-19 was the responsibility of state governors and the illegal leaking of a tape documenting an internal meeting of the federal government.

The behaviour of the Supreme Court has enraged a considerable portion of the population, who have been very critical. The latest was a trend on the Internet, #STFshameofBrazil.

Since the 2018 election, the establishment opposing Bolsonaro (and in Brazil, the establishment is mostly left-wing) created the narrative that Bolsonaro was elected because of fake news spread via social media. In fact, because Bolsonaro was incapacitated for most of the campaign, after he had been knifed by a Communist militant, his campaign was run in the most decentralized way by his supporters, nicknamed “the aunts of WhatsApp.” But the Marxists cannot understand that. They think in hierarchical ways. They hate what they cannot control. They call it “fake news.”

The Supreme Court president, Minister Dias Toffoli, himself the former lawyer for the Labour Party (PT), who remained in power for 16 years, created an inquiry to investigate “fake news”, namely, the flow of information they disagree with, under the justification that the Supreme Court was being criticized, therefore, disrespected. Minister Alexandre de Moraes leads the case.

The problem is that no crime has been committed. They are, in practice, in search of a reason to prosecute those they disagree with. The Supreme Court ministers are judging a supposed crime committed against themselves. Yes, the “victim” is the “judge.” That is both illegal and immoral.

Then comes the events of March 27th. Teams of federal police officers were sent to several cities around the country with 29 search-and-seizure warrants. They targeted members of parliament allied to Bolsonaro, along with the journalist Alan dos Santos, the president of a political party that supports Bolsonaro, Mr. Roberto Jefferson, businessman Luciano Hang and several others Internet journalists and commentators.

“An Armed People Shall Never Be Enslaved”

José Atento has written in the past about the remarkable similarity of the sabotage of Donald Trump and that of Jair Bolsonaro by the establishments in their respective countries. The Brazilian chapter of the Deep State is attempting to weaponize the coronavirus scam against President Bolsonaro. Sound familiar?

Note: The video included in the essay below was not subtitled by us, so be aware that there is a lot of vulgar language in the subtitles.

“An armed people shall never be enslaved”

by José Atento

Last time, I reported how the Brazilian Establishment was doing everything possible to overthrow Brazil’s president Jair Bolsonaro. At that time I mentioned the incident created by the early departure of Justice Minister Sergio Moro. Moro became a Brazilian national hero as the judge who led Operation Car Wash that put jailed powerful politicians and entrepreneurs, including former president Lula. Bolsonaro invited him to be his justice minster because Moro represented one of his causes: the fight against corruption.

Some pointed out that even though he was aligned with the fight against corruption, Moro was against some of Bolsonaro’s other positions. Contrary to Bolsonaro, Moro was in favor of abortion and in favor of disarming the population.

Let us jump to the present and the COVID-19 crisis. The Supreme Court, mostly composed of judges appointed during the 16 years of socialist rule, decided that the guidance, administration and control of how to tackle the pandemic was the responsibility of the state governors. One may argue that was correct, since public health is prerogative of states and municipalities, but, in practice, that made the federal government like the “Queen of England” whose only duty was to print money. Nonetheless, Bolsonaro made his opinion heard loud and clear, that, based on the Brazilian reality, where most of the population eat based on the money they make every day, the best approach would be a vertical lockdown of those in higher-risk groups (the elderly and those with health conditions); otherwise, the social consequences of the lockdown would be huge.

Some states, particularly those governed by the socialist Labour Party (PT) and the state of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, whose governors are pre-candidates for the 2022 presidential election, opted to force a full lockdown upon the population, calling it “social distancing.” Here comes the newspeak: everything was closed, and everyone told to stay at home, but it was not a lockdown. God knows what a lockdown would mean to them. At the same time, they began to bombard Bolsonaro with all sort of accusations, such as that he was anti-science, and the mainstream Brazilian media (that includes the newly created CNN-Brazil) blamed Bolsonaro for everything, even though his power had been removed by the Supreme Court.

Probably, the most outrageous of all was the way state and municipal police forces began to treat citizens who allegedly “disrespected social distancing” even if they were alone in an empty space. The brutality of a police-state became visible in videos that flooded social media (but not mainstream media) where working men, the elderly and women, even in bikinis, were brutally handcuffed and arrested. Meanwhile, governors are releasing criminals from jail, even drug-trafficking leaders and unrepentant rapists.

During this time of crisis, Justice Minister Moro resigned, claiming Bolsonaro was trying to interfere with the work of the Federal Police, even attempting to change some of its directors. Vague as this accusation was, as it is a constitutional prerogative of the president to appoint people to senior positions, the Establishment began to ask for Bolsonaro’s impeachment. Moro claimed that the content discussed during the last ministerial meeting would prove that. the Supreme Court opened an investigation based on Moro’s accusation, and requested the tape of the meeting.

Brazilian Establishment Tries to Overthrow Bolsonaro

The Brazilian Left, like the Left anywhere else in the world, never lets a good crisis go to waste. According to this report by José Atento, the ramped-up push to damage President Jair Bolsonaro during the Wuhan Coronavirus crisis is similar to what is being attempted against Donald Trump in the USA.

The continuous effort of the Brazilian establishment to overthrow President Bolsonaro has reached its maximum level

by José Atento

Jair Bolsonaro was elected president of Brazil in November of 2018 because for most Brazilians he personified the opposition to many of the issues plaguing Brazil and Brazilians. First, the rampant corruption, notably from the leadership of the Labour Party (herein referred to as PT), which ruled Brazil for sixteen years. Secondly, the precarious situation of the Brazilian economy. PT squandered the economy. When PT rose to power in early 2000s, Brazil was a leading member of the BRICS. When PT left power, Brazil was basically bankrupt. Socialists are good at squandering economies.

Bolsonaro is anti-establishment, and in Brazil the establishment is predominantly of the Left. Bolsonaro spoke the language of the people, who are mostly nationalistic and Christian, disagree with gender ideology, are against abortion, and oppose big government, i.e., are against the flags of the Left.

Bolsonaro is also anti-Socialist and against the South American Socialist alliance known as São Paulo Forum, which has the participation of former and current leaders such as Lula (Brazil), Chavez/Maduro (Venezuela), Morales (Bolivia) and Cristina Kirchner (Argentina).

Bolsonaro showed his independence when he selected his ministers based on competence, not on political arrangements. Among his ministers two would represent the fight against corruption and for economic recovery. Sergio Moro (Justice Minister), the judge who led the Operation Car Wash, which put into jail powerful politicians and entrepreneurs, including former president Lula. And, Paulo Guedes (Finance Minister), a renowned economist from the Chicago School, with the intention of developing the economy towards free market.

By building a team of technical ministers, Bolsonaro angered a large group of politicians (from several parties) known as Centrão, which means roughly, Big Center. This group is not really in the center of the political spectrum, but they are known by their appetite for bargaining with the government, approving projects proposed by the government in the exchange for electoral gains. They did that during the PT government, and, as a consequence, several members of the Centrão are accused of corruption but, as members of parliament, they have “parliamentary immunity.” Both houses of Congress, the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate, are controlled by the Centrão. Unable to sell its support, the Centrão suffers from something similar to what a drug addict in withdrawal experiences.

The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Dep. Rodrigo Maia, has been slowly undermining the government by delaying the consideration of projects and decrees signed by Bolsonaro to the point of letting them expire. Similar action has been undertaken by the president of the Senate, Sen. Davi Alcolumbre. Both are from the Centrão.

Other sources of opposition are the left-leaning media (such as Folha de São Paulo and the all-powerful Globo TV) and the Supreme Court (STF), whose judges were nominated by socialist governments. The current president of the Supreme Court, Dias Tófolli, is a former PT lawyer. It is important to add that the governors of the states of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, both targeting the 2022 presidential elections, would love to see Bolsonaro’s chances for re-election decrease.

Bolsonaro is also the target of relentless attacks by the international media. His anti-socialist stance puts him at odds with the likes of The Guardian, El Pais, the BBC, CBC, ABC, CNN, and other left-leaning globalist media powerhouses, who waste no time before throwing mud at him.

Ecuador: Don’t Bring Out Your Dead

Residents of the city of Guayaquil in Ecuador are setting tires on fire in the streets to protest the fact that the bodies of people who died of the coronavirus are not being collected. People are sometimes left for days with corpses in their houses.

At first I wondered how the situation could have gotten so bad, considering that the death rate of the Wuhan Coronavirus is not much worse than that of the seasonal flu. Then I noticed the details: funeral homes are refusing to pick up the cadavers because they are afraid of being infected.

In other words, the situation is part of the general coronavirus hysteria.

00:16   bodies however not identified; there are more dead
00:20   bodies in hospitals and without refrigeration.
00:26   This here smells of heavy loss of life.
00:30   Pure death. Unclaimed bodies. Lost bodies.
00:37   Without a Christian burial.

00:51   Outrageous. —The desperation has caused some of the residents of Guayaquil
