Question the COVID Narrative? It’s the Loony Bin For You!
It seems the West has gone full Soviet in its use of psychiatric diagnoses to put troublemaking dissidents away in psychiatric institutions. The following case was sent by our Norwegian correspondent The Observer. All it took was the word of a doctor to get this dangerous “conspiracy theorist” committed.
The Haaland Case

On the 19th of July 2023 a Norwegian man, Trond Harald Haaland, was forcibly committed to a psychiatric ward for posting Covid-19 critical vaccine posts to his personal Facebook page. This happened in Stavanger, Norway’s fourth-largest city.
On the day in question, a doctor and a health care worker showed up at Haaland’s residence, accompanied by two uniformed police officers. After a short conversation, they informed Haaland he had to come with them, and subsequently escorted him to the psychiatric ward at the University hospital in Stavanger (SUS) where he spent the next nine days.
This drastic step was taken based on a ‘cause for concern’ report filed by an individual whose identity has not yet been released, but who has access to Haaland’s Facebook feed. This was ostensibly enough to have Haaland committed to a psychiatric ward.
Upon learning of Haaland’s fate, his family contacted a lawyer to represent him. And thus a review board hearing was scheduled for Friday, July 28th. And this is where things get interesting.
Here is some of the evidence that was used to have Haaland committed to a closed psychiatric ward: The doctor who made the decision based her judgment on Haaland’s Facebook posts. In her opinion Haaland displayed manic behaviour, was psychotic and paranoid, and his actions were deemed not to be rooted in reality. This conclusion was reached based on the frequency and the content of the various Facebook posts.
When Haaland’s lawyer asked the doctor if she had read the posts in question, the doctor admitted that she hadn’t, given that she is not on Facebook!
Upon hearing the evidence presented at the hearing, the jury, which consists of a doctor and two lay judges unanimously decided to discharge Haaland with immediate effect.
Haaland’s lawyer has so far been unsuccessful in obtaining the identity of the person who contacted the health authorities, and whose report subsequently led to Haaland’s ordeal.
I know this sounds like something straight out of George Orwell’s novel 1984, but this story has been corroborated by Haaland’s lawyer, Barbro Paulsen. It has also been covered by two independent and trustworthy Norwegian news sites, document.no and steigan.no.
The links to those articles are at the bottom of this essay. They are in Norwegian but can easily be run through Google translate for verification.
What we can take away from this case is that the authorities in Norway will in certain cases rely on a psychiatric diagnosis to stifle troublesome dissent. If they have a political gripe with someone, they’ll just whisper a few words in the ear of the local health authorities about their ‘concerns for the individual’s mental state’ and have the problematic person locked up in a psychiatric facility.
There are two cases that immediately jumped to mind when I first became aware of this story, and that is the ‘Breivik case’ and the ‘Gjesdal case’.
Mentally Ill Mujahid in Sarcelles
Sarcelles is a culturally enriched suburb to the north of Paris. The following report from French TV describes an attack in Sarcelles by a mentally ill Algerian culture-enricher, who had absconded from the loony bin and has now been arrested and returned there. The perpetrator can’t be brought to justice because he’s a loony, and the victim in the attack has no recourse — complaints to the police and the hospital have proved fruitless.

I have nothing to fear from the New Zealand government, but there’s no sense in poking the beast excessively in his lair.”
And also this note to commenters: “I will treat remarks about Brenton Tarrant the same way I have treated those about Anders Behring Breivik, and summarily delete any expressions of support or approval for his vile actions. I don’t care how you justify it; you might as well save yourself the trouble if your sentiments happen to run in that direction.”

Transgenders are the Vanguard of the Socialist Revolution
Yesterday a group of people who opposed the mutilation of children in the service of “transgender” ideology attempted to mount a peaceful street protest in Ottawa, but were blocked by a much larger group of counter-protesters. Vlad was there, and wrote an excellent account of what happened, along with an analysis of the revolutionary communist methodology behind it. Below is a slightly different version of Vlad’s report.

What is obvious at first is that had the usual suspects in Ottawa’s far left extremist community not bothered to show up, Billboard Chris and Josh Alexander’s march would have been ten minutes up Broadview and ten minutes back, maybe a few speeches and everyone off in time for lunch. The media could do what it does second best and ignore the very real concerns of people who think children too young to buy a beer or cigarettes shouldn’t be persuaded by teachers to have their genitals mutilated and become sterilized for life. Instead, the media does what it does best, and foments conflict and then presents it in exactly the opposite way that it really happened. Just as an example — and this happens nearly every time ANTIFA or its sympathetic groups are involved — the media reports that there were X number of arrests, but usually fails to mention they are on the side of the left who typically initiate violence at these sorts of things. This goes back to pre-BLM demonstrations but was common during all of those. Watch older Tim Poole videos from when he used to go out and actually report on demonstrations for court-worthy evidence of exactly this.
First, a few words about Marxist tactics and why the “trans” thing is such a big deal when just a few years ago, there just wasn’t any.
It was a non-issue. A very tiny number of people felt they would be better off being surgically altered into the other sex, and did it. Some were OK with the results, some less so. But today what we have is quite something else. Johns Hopkins actually stopped doing trans surgeries until very recently because they noted that it never actually alleviated the symptoms which the surgeries were supposed to cure. Obviously the reasons for resuming the practice is likely more political than medical. Such is the nature of a communist state.
Here is a possible explanation:
Those who have read this site for a few years or more, or Gates of Vienna, or Robert Spencer, or Bill Warner, or Stephen Coughlin and many others, might appreciate the way Islam uses mosques as beachheads. The way it works is a clever inversion of the concept of defence. They build a mosque in a place symbolically important to the enemy, either after conquest in the traditional sense, or taking advantage of the enemy’s tolerance and building it as if it were the same as any other religious building. Then they consider it Islamic territory, and after that any objection to what they may say or do in or around that mosque becomes grounds to “defend religion” as the Koran instructs. We see that across Europe — although not many new videos have surfaced recently, but we have published many — where near a mosque, there will be Islamic patrols harassing homosexuals, people with a drink in their hands where that is legal on the street, and women who are dressed immodestly as Islam decides at that moment and place what immodest may be.
Islam spreads out from the mosque that way. At least in theory. But it’s no accident that mosques are built on strategic locations. The Temple Mount, for example, is the most sacred place to Jews as it is alleged to hold the Ark of the Covenant. The Muslims are in complete control of that area, as it’s right next to a mosque they use as a beachhead to justify claiming Israel is somehow legitimately Islamic. The same with the Cordoba mosque in Spain, which is what they named the Islamic Centre built as close as they were able to the Twin Towers in NYC after 911. That also is not a coincidence.

End gender madness: Norway bans gender reassignments in children
Now Norway has put a stop to sex reassignments in children. Studies show that the motive behind gender reassignment is often pure imitation by peers.
Norway wants to revise its legislation on gender reassignment treatments for minors. The new regulations stipulate that puberty blockers, transsexual hormones and surgical interventions may only be permitted in research, but no longer in the clinical arena.
Within Europe, Norway follows Finland, Sweden and Great Britain. In the US, eight states have so far banned the treatment of persons under the age of 18, with Tennessee being the latest to pass such a law.
The reason why Norway wants to change its legislation on gender reassignment surgery is that a number of studies show that most children with gender dysphoria are generally comfortable in their bodies when they hit puberty.
The desire to change their gender after puberty is very likely due to a “social contagion”, keyword imitation, i.e. gender reassignments are a frequent topic among peers and in public (social media, media). However, these studies are generally ignored because they do not fit into the image of gender ideology.

Syrian Culture-Enricher Greets Children With a Knife
A young culture-enricher — originally from Syria, but most recently resident in Sweden — went on a rampage with a knife this morning in a park in the French town of Annecy. He wounded six people before being shot in the leg by police, and then arrested. Four of the victims were little children; one who was under two years old was stabbed while in a stroller. Amazingly, no one was killed, although some of the wounds were considered life-threatening.
Judicial authorities said the attack “did not appear to be terrorism-related.” If stabbing small children randomly in a park is not considered “terrorism”, then the word has no meaning. I assume we will eventually learn that he “has a history of psychological problems.”
An interesting twist is that the perpetrator is reportedly a Christian. He is said to have invoked the name of Jesus Christ during his rampage, and had a cross with him.

A man born in October 1991 is suspected of wounding six people, four of whom are young children. He claims “to be a Christian from Syria”. He was arrested by police a few minutes after the attack.
The man arrested after injuring six persons, of whom four are children, in a park in Annecy (Haute Savoie), Thursday June 8, is a Syrian aged 31, who entered France legally.
The individual, named Abdalmasih H., had requested asylum at the Office of Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons (Ofpra) on November 28, 2022 in a normal procedure, according to a source close to the investigation.
But he had already received refugee status in Sweden, where he had been living since 2013, prior to his request in France. According to our information, Abdalmasih H. had declared himself to be a Christian from Syria in his asylum request file and had a Christian cross with him at the time of his arrest. The Syrian was also married to a Swede and had a three-year-old child with her, a source tells us.
Lived ten years in Sweden
According to the Swedish daily Aftonbladet he allegedly applied for Swedish nationality in 2017 and 2022. These requests were reportedly unsuccessful. He was said to have lived for ten years in the town of Trollhättan in the southwest of the country. According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Sweden, the man reportedly had “an ordinary life”, and reportedly even studied English and Swedish in order to integrate himself. However, he was convicted in 2022 of state financial aid fraud. Officially, Abdalmasih H. is still registered as a resident of the Scandinavian country with his 26-year-old wife.

An event to raise awareness on homophobia completely degenerated at Atlas Technical College in Genk. This event took place within the framework of the Global Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHO), which was to be celebrated May 17.

In a school in Berlin-Neukölln, two schoolgirls were seriously wounded in a physical attack. The girls, ages 7 and 8 years, were apparently attacked by a man, leaving one of the girls in a life-threatening condition. The Berlin police were able to announce the arrest of the presumed perpetrator. Who he is and for what reason he attacked the two children is as yet not clear.

The BZ (Berliner Zeitung) first reported the attack on the school on Mainzerstrasse. Several children were reportedly witnesses to the traumatic attacks. According to initial information, the weapon is allegedly a knife. Both victims of the attack were carried by a helicopter for treatment. As for the provisionally-arrested person, a Berlin police spokeswoman gave no information. “We are investigating all angles,” says the police press office.
According to information obtained by BZ, the perpetrator waited for the police after the attack and submitted to arrest without resistance. The rear door of the school was closed off by police at 3pm, two hours after the attack. Parents stood before the main entrance and waited for their children. They were allowed to leave the building after a few minutes and were turned over to their parents.

Berlin education senator Katharina Günther-Wünsch, on the knife attack at the Evangelical School in Neukölln: “Religious or political motive on the part of the perpetrator can probably be ruled out. No regular operation in the next two days.”
What motivated the perpetrator to wound the two girls in a serious, life-threatening manner is yet completely unclear. Neither political or religious motives are believed to have led to the bloody act. As the Berliner Zeitung writes, the perpetrator is reportedly psychologically sick and knew neither of the children.

I am shocked at this unthinkable act. My thoughts in these difficult hours are with both the wounded girls, for whom I wish a speedy recovery. My sincere condolences to the parents, teachers, schoolmates, as well as friends.
For the next two days, school administrators have suspended classes. The children who were witnesses to the act were provided with spiritual counseling, as were the rescue personnel who first showed up at the crime scene. Berlin’s governing mayor, Kai Wegner (Christian Democrat party) expressed his horror on Twitter and expressed his sympathy to the relatives of the victims.
The second article is from Der Tagesspiegel. As is customary in Germany and other Western European countries, the report is coy about the alleged perpetrator’s surname: he is identified simply as “Berhan S.” However, the name Berhan is common in Ethiopia and Eritrea. Factor in the description of his “strictly religious family”, then draw your own conclusions:

With a finger pointed at the sky, he pounced on the windshield of some passing cars, throwing punches and slaps. On seeing the subject, who turned out to be an old acquaintance of the police, some citizens alerted 112 [dialed 911] reporting the presence of that man, out of his mind, who was putting their safety in danger and especially passersby. Several drivers, in fact, were forced make quick turns and sudden stops to avoid the 50-year-old, in an obviously confused state.
Upon arrival, the Carabinieri approached the North African, ordering him to stop. During the US Civil War, the country was severely divided over three principal issues: states’ rights; the right of individual states to secede from the union; and “Bleeding Kansas” — whether new states would be permitted to choose whether to implement slavery or not. On virtually all other issues of law and morality, the country was in complete — Judeo-Christian, constitutional — lock-step.
Today, however, hyphenated and non-hyphenated Americans can’t even agree on the definitions of “victim” and “victimizer” — the basic building blocks of law and morality, and the foundational moral and legal tenets around which healthy civilizations must coalesce. And therein lies the difference… and the great danger. When civilizations forced to live amongst one another lack any shared foundational understandings — with radically contrasting and, on one side, ever-”evolving” views of right versus wrong, good versus bad, success versus failure, legal versus illegal — they must inevitably and unavoidably find themselves confronted with three options: Assimilate, Separate or Assassinate (i.e., go to war). History offers no other solutions that I’m aware of.
With one side armed with the Bill of Rights and the rule of law, and the other actively working to erase them, I fear we’re on a divisive and chaotic carnival ride that isn’t likely to end where it began.

An “Allahu Akhbar” Moment in Vicenza
Yesterday in the province of Vicenza in northern Italy a mentally ill culture-enricher from Morocco, presumably traumatized by having to live among infidels, went on a rampage and shot a police officer while shouting “Allahu Akhbar”. I know readers will be saddened to learn that the youngster did not survive the incident. He was shot dead by an officer of the Carabinieri, who is probably a WAYCIST.

Fear in Fara Vicentino, in the province of Vicenza. A Moroccan citizen was killed in a firefight with the Carabinieri after shooting at a local police officer, wounding him with the pistol taken from one of the two Carabinieri who arrived at the scene. It happened this morning. According to an initial reconstruction, the man, out of his mind, reportedly went into a rage in the street and managed to take the weapon from one of the two Carabinieri who intervened, firing at a police officer who arrived to help his colleagues: Reportedly, the other Carabiniero shot him dead at this point.
The non-EU citizen was walking barefoot in a confused state then allegedly went into a rage, shouting in the street. A Moroccan immigrant who was passing by reportedly heard him shouting insults in Arabic. According to what Corriere della Sera is reporting, the man allegedly also uttered the phrase “Allahu Akhbar”, God is greater. When the police intervened, the man reportedly took the service pistol from a Carabiniero, firing several rounds, two of which hit one of the local police. The Carabiniero who still possessed his weapon then shot and killed the suspect.
The 40-year-old local police officer involved in the shootout this morning was hit by two projectiles, one in the right foot and one in the left side which caused a lung to collapse. He was operated on at the Alto Vicentino Hospital of Santorso, a lung drainage was applied, and at this time a second lung CT scan is in progress. The prognosis is guarded, but should not be life-threatening.
