That December 9th Brexit Rally

This is the first bit of video I’ve come across on the rally Tommy and Batten have been promoting:

There is a three four-hour streaming video on RT, but our less-than-broadband connection is weighted down by snow [pictures at 11:00, provided I can nag persuade the Baron into taking a few snapshots. Right now the visibility is less than a quarter of a mile].

This, our first real snowfall of the season, serendipitously closes out our Quarterly Fundraiser. It’s quite beautiful if you don’t have to go out in it.

If y’all find any good videos on the rally, please leave them in the comments.

Denmark Creates Its Own Gitmo

This post is really just an excuse to celebrate the Danes. It’s one country Shakespeare got wrong:

This isn’t breaking news, but it’s a welcome account nonetheless.

For many years Denmark has been voted the happiest country. It’s probably true and this direct approach to problems is a good example of their in-born cheerfulness. [No, Søren Kierkegaard doesn’t count.]

Besides being a handsome bunch, the Danish have a delightful sense of humor. Not to mention their cigarettes, beer, 1,000 kinds of real licorice, and countless candles in the cold shivering dark of winter. Danes exemplify the maxim about lighting a candle instead of cursing the darkness, though they probably do both.

Remember that video clip collection made of Obama’s clichéd encomia about small countries? BHO said of each nation in turn, as they appeared at state visits to the White House, that they all “punched above their weight”. The Danish creator of that video kept a straight face, making Obama look even more vacuous than usual.

Now that Denmark is sending its law-breaking “refugees” to an island off Copenhagen, they can join us in having their very own Gitmo. So congratulations, Denmark! But admit it: if you didn’t have that handy escape valve of the bridge leading to Sweden, the island would become over-crowded right quick.

Nonetheless, three cheers for the Danes! When I die, I’m coming back as a Dane.

‘Tis The First Sunday of Advent, 2018

For those who follow the Liturgical Calendar, Advent marks the beginning of the New Year. And Bach most famously observes it:

Psalm 25: 3-9

Show me your ways, O Lord,
and teach me your paths.

Lead me in your truth and teach me,
for you are the God of my salvation;
in you have I trusted all the day long.

Remember, O Lord, your compassion and love,
for they are from everlasting.

Remember not the sins of my youth and my transgressions;
remember me according to your love
and for the sake of your goodness, O Lord.

Gracious and upright is the Lord;
therefore he teaches sinners in his way.

He guides the humble in doing right
and teaches his way to the lowly.

All the paths of the Lord are love and faithfulness
to those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Advent is my favorite season. Perhaps it is a child’s anticipation of Christmas that still speaks to my heart.

Three More Victories for Mosquebusters

Gavin Boby, Mosquebuster Extraordinaire, sends this heartening report about his most recent successes in quashing mosque applications in England.

Dear Freedom Lovers!

I’ve recently busted three more mosque applications, and wanted to let you know the score.

The three wins are in:

That makes a tally of 37 wins out of 52 mosques fought.

You can see the details here.

I’m fighting six more right now, and I’m sure those last three will be back again before long.

This isn’t exciting work — more like a constant grind. But the tide has been slowed.

And it matters. It boosts our chances of winning easily and honourably. Europe’s taste for massacre probably rules that out for them, but not for us.

Mosques mark out territory; the smaller enemy territory is when the time comes, the more options we have to win; the more options we have to win, the more easily we can win without atrocity; if we win without atrocity, we can pass on the authority we have inherited from English generations before us.

Home Schooling in Russia

Homeschooling is a sacrifice. It requires that the parents come up with the financial planning to make this undertaking possible. Two parents working full-time obviously can’t do it. Thus, families may have to be creative.

Homeschooling is also a reward. Most days it takes little more than two or three hours for academic work, leaving lots of time for other endeavors – time outside playing or running a track, plus time inside playing musical instruments or reading or playing fiercely-contested boardgames. No electronics save the computer for learning the keyboard as soon as possible.

Homeschooled children are noticeable. They don’t have the pressure of “socialization” at school so they’re freer to be themselves. On one occasion, the owner of a small bookstore where I’d taken the future Baron asked me if I homeschooled. Taken aback, I admitted as much and asked how she knew. “Without exception”, she said, “the homeschooled kids I see are calm and poised.” Since then, I’ve learned to pay attention to kids in public…I think she’s right, though I don’t ever ask.

As public education continues to swirl the drain, I feel great sympathy for those who don’t have the choice to educate their children en famille. It was a joy I’d not have missed for anything.

Dr Turley reports on Russia’s growing homeschooled population:

Tourists in Hungary

Our translator, Crossware, tipped the B to this video. It’s partially/mostly in English (with Hungarian subtitles). Pay particular attention to the moustachioed gentleman from England [and the two cuties from Denmark are worth your time].

The Swedish fellow looks like he got his tips on ‘dress to impress’ from America. I was going to say “I thought Swedes had more sense” but never mind.

Tommy Robinson: The View From Hungary

A Hungarian reader named László sends this detailed account of the prominent coverage Tommy Robinson has received in the media (both traditional and alternative) in his country.

Tommy Robinson: The View From Hungary

by László

I would like to give you and your readers a glimpse into the way the Hungarian press covers the topic of jihad and islamization in the West. Although I expect CrossWare keeps you pretty much updated about us, it may still be of interest to you, since I know that the Hungarian language is a secret code for everyone else in the world.

Jihad and islamization news from the West in general hit the biggest Hungarian online mainstream news sites (sometimes even the leftist ones, although it is distorted) and the state TV. Now, I can see that plenty of ordinary people (I could say an ‘army’ of Counterjihad commenters) influence the content and analysis of this mainstream news coverage from the background, mainly by commenting below the articles.

What Tommy (and other Western Counterjihad warriors) have probably never even dreamt of is how much their heroism and work help to save Hungary and Eastern Europe from islam! His captioned and subtitled videos sometimes have almost the same number of views as the original English ones. Just look at the number of views on this playlist for the counterjihad site Dzsihádfigyelő.

Some of Tommy’s videos even get into the mainstream, such as this one: “Revolution May Come in Germany this Summer

These mainstream sites — not giant ones, but bigger than blogs — wrote about this video and embedded it:

Let me show you another example:

The Hungarian online mainstream media in general have extensively covered Tommy’s imprisonment and release, even the progressive ones.

Even the latest Fox News interview has already got detailed coverage in a smaller right-wing — still mainstream — outlet: “Tommy Robinson: The Prison Mosque Was in Front of My Cell Window” (This site may have some 15,000-30,000 readers, but their headlines are frequently echoed within the conservative media.)

And the largest Hungarian news site, Origo, on Tommy’s release: “Tommy Robinson’s Kangaroo Court Verdict Overturned

Stage Right, Enter Brazil

This sounds like the political arena in South America will soon be crowded with vast right wing conspiracies.

Good news for a continent that has had to overcome an economic history that ignored the rule of law and property rights, the two fundamental building blocks of a genuine free state. Perhaps the breakdown of the socialist dream-turned-nightmare, Venezuela, is simply speeding up this process?

Hmmm…given all that’s going on in Europe, it appears this a global move…

An “America First” Judge Nominated to Supreme Court

Or so says Dr. Turley:

The Federalist essay recommending Kavanaugh as the strongest conservative candidate was written by one of his former clerks (who also clerked for Kennedy):

…Kavanaugh is by far the strongest choice for the job. His courageous and influential opinions on countless different issues—presidential power, regulatory overreach, religious liberty, the Second Amendment, and the list goes on—leave no doubt that he would be a forceful conservative justice for decades to come. Conservatives should not be misled by misinformation. Judge Brett Kavanaugh has the principles, the record, and the backbone that we need on the Supreme Court.

But what does that matter? You can expect the “IMPEACH TRUMP!” screaming on the left to begin soon if it hasn’t already. Just one reason for hating him: Kavanaugh’s predilection for calling illegal aliens by their correct designation. This is not an Open Borders jurist.

Mutti Goes Down While Denmark Gets Tough

Dr. Turley’s wrap-up of the too-little-too-late EU Conference last weekend makes his usual salient points:

And the icing on that cake of crow Merkel must eat? Besides Norway’s crackdown, look at Denmark’s amazing new acculturation rules for immigrants. This is tough stuff:

A new set of laws governing life in 25 low-income, heavily Muslim enclaves in Denmark – officially labeled as “ghettos” – is the latest salvo as Europe grapples with integrating an influx of migrants.

Beginning at the age of 1, “ghetto children” must be separated from their “ghetto parents” for 25 hours per week for mandatory instruction in so-called “Danish values,” which includes learning about the language and the traditions of Christmas and Easter, The New York Times reported.

Families that don’t comply with the rules could see their welfare payments cut off. Danish citizens outside of these areas are able to choose whether to enroll children in preschool up to age 6.

The integration of immigrants has been challenging for Denmark, a country known for having a small, rather homogeneous population, the vast majority of which are ethnic Danes. Lawmakers have focused on neighborhoods where immigrants, some placed in these areas by the government, live in dense concentrations and sometimes suffer from higher rates of unemployment and violence.

During a New Year’s speech, Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen reportedly warned ghettos could “reach out their tentacles onto the streets” by spreading violence, and that, because of ghettos, “cracks have appeared on the map of Denmark.”

Other measures are also being considered, including one that would double the punishment for certain crimes if they are committed in one of the 25 enclaves. Another would impose a four-year prison sentence on immigrant parents who force their children to make extended trips to their country of origin.

Justice Minister Soren Pape Poulsen told the Times these measures are not anti-Muslim.

“That’s nonsense and rubbish,” Poulsen said. “To me this is about, no matter who lives in these areas and who they believe in, they have to profess to the values required to have a good life in Denmark.”

Queen Margrethe said the same thing in her autobiography a few years ago when she claimed that Danes (herself included) had been “lazy” about making sure the new people became full-fledged Danes.

The rest is of that report is here.

And the good news keeps on coming…of course, the B says that when this crackdown comes in Denmark and the immigrants realize government is serious, they’ll all flee to Germany and Sweden. Places where you don’t have to work so hard.

Elections Have Consequences

How quickly things can change.

America itself is now about to flip, in no small part due to Donald Trump’s presidency.

It’s Dr. Turley (again), this time with background and commentary on the breaking news of the resignation of a Supreme Court Justice:

Trump has already gotten one conservative on the Supremes’ team:
Neil Gorsuch. Adding another will change future generations of law in America. This is huge, guys.

Here is the White House list of possible candidates from the previous so-called “shortlist” used to pick Gorsuch.

And this is the infamous Federalist Society, which will have once more have significant input into President Trump’s second selection. The Senate grilling of whoever is chosen will be brutal. Expect every dirty political trick to be pulled out of the Dems’ hats in an attempt to short-circuit the next conservative nominee. The left is seeing its house of cards collapse; leftists never go quietly into that good night – you’ll be able to hear the shrieking from wherever you are.

Just think: these appointments could have been Hillary’s to make. She must be having another meltdown; by now, ol’ Hillary “Fukushima”* Clinton is probably radioactive. Bless her heart.

Next? Look for The Wall/Fence/Barrier to start growing again on our southwest border as Americans increasingly ask for a limit to immigration. With the Supremes’ recent upholding his list of terrorist countries as a valid immigration restriction, The Donald’s on a roll.

Will he gloat?? Does the sun rise in the east?

*edited for accuracy.

Is Sweden Going to Flip?

The Baron has speculated before that when the tide turns in Sweden it will be a relatively sudden and massive flip. As he says, that’s a feature of high consensus cultures. If he’s right, one can only hope it plays out the same way in Minnesota, much of whose DNA is Nordic.

Dr. Turley’s latest video is instructive for those who haven’t been following the alternative news. For you and me, it’s just joyful affirmation of something we already knew. What he doesn’t mention is the severe persecution the Sweden Democrats suffered for years while under the heel of the leftist thugs – e.g., the ngo, EXPO.

By the way, if anyone can find the link to that Reuters news report he mentions, please leave it in the comments and I’ll link to it in this post. If Sweden’s turn is making it to the MSM (no matter how snarky) it is also significant.

Here’s the link, supplied by Anonymous, from Reuters. It’s only a bit snarky, considering they’re discussing Sverigedemokraterna’s success. They link to a poll showing the standing of various Swedish parties, though you’ll notice that even though SD is shown in the graph as being in second place, in the discussion SD is listed last.

The MSM can’t help itself.
