I Am Also a Slut!

I reported a couple of weeks ago on an incident in the Iranian city of Qom where a young woman angrily confronted a cleric for taking photos of her for not wearing a veil.

Below is a French follow-up to the story, which provides more background details on what happened. Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from France24:

#IAmAlsoASlut: Iranian women launch a hashtag against harassment by the mullahs

In a hospital in the very religious city of Qom, a woman, her sick child in her arms, was taken to task by a mullah because her veil was down on her shoulders. The video surveillance of the scene, posted on March 9, caused an outcry in Iran, women accusing the mullah, cell phone in hand, of wanting to report the mother using an app from the Islamic regime. Its users called the woman a “slut”… and unleashed a massive reaction on social media.

March 13, 2024

[Caption: Video appeared on March 9 on social media in Iran showing a young mother accusing a mullah of taking pictures of her and her child without asking her for permission. The mullah is accused of using an app furnished by the government.]

An initial excerpt of the video surveillance camera of the hospital shows the mother crouched in a corner, the veil on her shoulders, and her hair visible while a mullah stands nearby and uses his phone.

In a second excerpt. we see the angry mother, who accosts the mullah, whom she accuses of taking photos of her and her child without her permission. “Give me your phone, let me see the photo, and delete it,” she says. Several other women, some wearing hijabs, others not, come to her aid. One of them seizes the phone from the hands of the mullah and checks it.

A year and a half after the start of the demonstrations by the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement in September 2022, Iranian women reacted to these images with vehemence. The videos of the scene have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times on social media.

Many comments suggest that the mullah was using an app furnished by the government on his telephone, known under the name of “Nazer” (observer or informant in Persian). It is furnished to informers approved by the Iranian government, to notify authorities of violations of the wearing of the veil to which they are witness. The women who are reported receive “unveiling notifications” by text message, in some cases, sanctions such as the confiscation of their vehicle.

In this message posted March 9, 2024, Iranian women share excerpts from the video surveillance camera of a hospital in Qom, in which is seen the mother accusing the mullah of having taken photos of her with her sick child. The mullah is called a “dirty pig” because he is suspected of having used an app furnished by the government to report the young woman for not wearing hijab.

Putting the AfD Behind Bars

I posted last night about the case of a 16-year-old German girl named Loretta, who was pulled out of school by police after her principal reported her for obliquely supporting the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland, Alternative for Germany).

Neither the previous article nor the one below discuss what got Loretta in trouble. Here’s a reminder of what caused her to be arrested:

At the end of February, the girl was taken out of class in front of her fellow students and questioned by police, as first reported by German newspaper Junge Freiheit.

In her TikTok post, she asked “What do Germany and the Smurfs have in common: They are both blue.” The post was in reference to the AfD, which has blue party colors.

The appalling actions by the government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania have drawn international attention to the state. In response, the state government is attempting to do damage control by hiding all of its internal deliberations.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Junge Freiheit. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

Schwesig government keeps school instructions under lock and key

The “Loretta case” concerns the state parliament of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. New, explosive details have become known in a special meeting. The Union and AfD accuse Manuela Schwesig’s state government of a cover-up.

Schwerin

The state government of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, led by Manuela Schwesig (SPD), is keeping a memo under wraps in which school principals were informed about how supposedly extremist students should be dealt with. This was reported by the education policy spokesman for the AfD parliamentary group in the state parliament, Enrico Schult, following a special meeting of the education committee on the “Loretta case”.

“It is not helpful at all that the Ministry of Education is withholding ‘case scenarios’ sent to all school management, in a memo, on February 22, 2024, to which the headmaster referred and which are intended to clarify how to proceed in alleged cases of danger. Why exactly? Do these systems contain politically tinged requirements?” criticized Schult after the meeting.

He asked whether “the police should be called for every politically unpopular post.” “Or what happens when teachers accidentally come across critical posts in the media made by their students? Should they make a report?”

Criticism of the school principal and the state government

The AfD politician renewed his criticism of the behavior of the director of the Ribnitz-Damgartener Richard-Wossidlo-Gymnasium, who contacted the police at the end of February and had 16-year-old Loretta picked up from class after he was given screenshots of the 16-year-old’s social media appearances . These were not criminally relevant. Nevertheless, the officers carry out a “kind of threat address,” as they told Junge Freiheit.

No Longer Welcome in Arnhem

I’ve reported a number of times on the Islamophobic actions of Edwin Wagensveld (the leader of the Dutch branch of Pegida), most recently his attempt to burn a Koran in Arnhem. His activities sometimes provoke a violent response on the part of “Dutch” culture-enrichers, and on more than one occasion have caused him to be arrested by police.

Mr. Wagensveld has become persona non grata in Arnhem, to the extent that he is now banned from entering the city. The ban was issued by the mayor — whose first name is Ahmed, which tells you all you need to know.

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from the Dutch online portal NU.nl:

Pegida leader gets 6-month local ban in Arnhem

March 21, 2024

Edwin Wagensveld, the leader of the radical-right group Pegida, cannot enter the city of Arnhem for six months. Mayor Ahmed Marcouch has imposed a local ban on Wagensveld. The ban goes into immediate effect.

Marcouch will reconsider the ban after three months, he has informed Wagensveld.

The Pegida leader wanted to burn a Koran next Saturday on Jans Square in Arnhem. On Wednesday, Marcouch forbade that on the advice of the police out of fear of chaos and because there would be concrete terrorist fears.

Wagensveld said on social media that he would definitely come to Arnhem on Saturday. The mayor reacted that the Pegida leader would definitely not enter Arnhem. Now Marcouch has imposed a local ban on him.

Wagensveld is not allowed to appear anywhere in Arnhem because of the ban. He is allowed to travel through Arnhem by train or bus but is not allowed to get off. Arnhem is a central station for trains to and from Germany, where Wagensveld lives. There is also an exception in the case that he might have to appear in the courthouse in Arnhem.

Police cannot guarantee safety

The mayor of Arnhem fears that the arrival of Wagensveld will attract groups and individuals who will try to stop him with violence or try to prevent his actions.

In addition, there are probably groups who also want to commit acts of violence. Marcouch speaks of a “high degree of probability.” There are concrete threats against the Pegida leader.

Marcouch expects that many more counter-demonstrators will come to Arnhem via calls on social media shortly before the demonstration, “which increases the unpredictability and thus, the uncontrollability of the anticipated serious disorder.” Police say safety cannot be guaranteed, even with the deployment of a large police presence.

Wagensveld tried to burn a Koran in Arnhem on January 13. That did not occur because there were many counter-demonstrators. The demonstration turned into riots and fights.

The Muslim Brotherhood in Sweden, Part 17

Many thanks to Gary Fouse for translating this article from Nyheter Idag:

Preliminary investigation against Egyptson dropped

The preliminary investigation against Sameh Egyptson’s attention-grabbing and debated dissertation on political Islam has been dropped, Prosecutor Pia Björnsson tells TT News.

In February of last year, the researcher Sameh Egyptson presented the dissertation, “Global Political Islam? The Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic Federation in Sweden” at Lund University.

In his dissertation Egyptson advanced the thesis that the Islamic Federation is a branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, which means that Sweden is infiltrated by political Islam.

In the dissertation several persons were named as being active in the Islamic Federation in Sweden or some of the Islamic Federation’s sub-organizations, which led to several reports to the Appeals Board for Ethics Review (Önep).

Önep prosecuted the dissertation since it was considered that Egyptson used sensitive personal information without ethics review permission, and in February, Prosecutor Pia Björnsson initiated a preliminary investigation into Egyptson’s dissertation to determine if Egyptson had permission to conduct the research.

“I consider that I did research within the framework of academic freedom. This is an attempt to deter researchers from working on important societal issues,” said Egyptson to Dagens Nyheter when the investigation was launched.

But now the investigation has been dropped. “This was expected since I began my dissertation before the law (2003:460) on ethics review even existed, something my critics didn’t care about when they reported me,” Egyptson writes in a posting on the X platform.

“My hope now is that the Ethics Review law will be reworked so that researchers will be able to feel free without fear to choose controversial and debated topics, and that it will be possible to research public persons in leading positions, based on public sources and their own public statements, without this being deemed as ‘sensitive personal information’ and being forbidden from researching it,” Egyptson further writes.

I Was Only Following Orders

The walls of censorship are closing in now in all Western nations. Some countries have it worse than others, notably Canada, the UK, and Germany. The following example illustrates the DDR-like conditions that exist now in the German Federal Republic.

An ordinary school principal and the Eichmann complex

The school principal Jan-Dirk Zimmermann from the northeast German province of Ribnitz-Damgarten has made national headlines in recent days. His unexpected popularity arose from his sucking up to the supposed spirit of the times, which demands political conformity.

He called the police to “his” school. Not because a crazy gunman threatened to massacre his classmates and teachers. No. Because of the student “Loretta”, who allegedly announced on social networks that Germany was not a speck on the map, but rather her home, and shared a Smurfs video on TikTok, he had the police called for no apparent reason to publicly expose and humiliate the student in front of her classmates. She was taken away by three police officers. The student’s desperate mother contacted the weekly newspaper Junge Freiheit about it. In his defense, Zimmermann said he was just following “rules.”

In doing so, he makes his sinister motives clear. The journalist Hannah Arendt (1906-1975) described this behavior, the reliance on regulations to suppress one’s own responsibility for evil, as the Eichmann complex. Arendt followed the Eichmann trial in Jerusalem in 1961 and published many articles about it.

Adolf Eichmann was a German-Austrian SS officer who had neither a degree nor completed professional training, but who fit seamlessly into the machinery of the organized extermination of Jews and took a leading position there. After successfully escaping to Argentina at the end of the war, he was arrested by the Israeli secret service and taken to Israel.

This happened because the words of the Frankfurt Nazi hunter and Attorney General Fritz Bauer fell on deaf ears by the German authorities, who showed no interest in Eichmann’s arrest and extradition. Adolf Eichmann denied his responsibility during the trial and stated that he had only followed “regulations”. He was sentenced to death and executed shortly afterwards.

It is symptomatic, both for National Socialists and for eco-socialists, not to take personal responsibility for the obvious evil they have caused and to denounce and report other fellow citizens who do not march in step. Yes, Zimmermann from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania found it really nice to report his student to the police for no reason, knowing full well that there was no crime. He was obviously comfortable with it.

This may not be an isolated case at this school. It seems to be a system. Also at other schools. There you also have “regulations”. The countless informers who anonymously report their fellow citizens to the numerous reporting centers set up by the state also feel good, even if it’s just out of spite. All these little Zimmermänner and all these little Eichmanns. The Eichmann complex is visible and audible everywhere. It’s always someone else’s fault or, if necessary, the “regulations”.

Goodbye, Cruel World!

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this essay from Politically Incorrect:

Is there a risk of German mass suicide after Putin’s victory?

by Wolfgang Hübner

Petra Gerster was a presenter on the Böhmermann channel on ZDF for many years. She has been retired since 2021 and is now approaching her 70th year, as blonde as ever. Since there is a strange view in Germany that talking dolls who present the news also understand something about world politics, Gerster, who comes from a CDU political family, was recently able to make the following statement at the “Sunday regulars’ table” on BR (Bavarian Broadcast) television: “Personally, I am more afraid that Putin will win the war than detonating the atomic bomb.”

The Bambi award winner has not only proven that she is always available for the increasing war preparation activities of her regular station. With these words she also highly recommended herself for membership in the “Putin Bäh!” association of Strack-Zimmermann, Hofreiter, Kiesewetter and Baerbock.

So there are still real tasks and challenges waiting for the older ZDF lady. And if the detonation of an atomic bomb by Vladimir near Gerster were to actually prevent all of this, it no longer presents a frightening prospect for her at her advanced age.

But what will Gerster do if Putin wins the war? What then will all of those do who placed such expensive bets on his defeat at taxpayer expense?

Will there then be desperate mass suicides again in Germany, like in those unfortunate weeks and months of Nazi Armageddon in the spring of 1945? Will we then be robbed of valuable members of our Western elite and somehow have to deal with the Moscow beast on our own? Frightening questions!

Windmills Tilting at Us

Wind turbines are widely disliked by the general public in all countries where they are erected. They are a blight on the landscape, and their noise when operating is unpleasant, and even harmful, for those who live nearby. They are notorious for killing large numbers of birds, including endangered species such as eagles.

Recent research in Sweden has revealed that wind farms cause even more environmental damage than previously thought, notably through the erosion of toxic chemicals from the blades, which are dispersed into the environment surrounding the turbines.

Many thanks to our Swedish correspondent LN for translating this article from Samhällsnytt:

Study shows: Wind turbines can be major environmental offenders

by Mats Dagerlind
March 16, 2024

Wind power is marketed as the climate and environmentally friendly energy option. However, there is a growing body of evidence that this is a truth with major modifications. A new study has now been published which, in addition to what is already known, indicates that wind power is associated with pollution in the form of high levels of hazardous substances around wind farms.

The yet-to-be-published study almost didn’t see the light of day. Strong political and economic forces do not want the image of wind power as the environmentally and climate-friendly alternative to produce electricity to be tarnished by further negative publicity.

As a result, pressure was applied to withdraw funding for the study. However, the researchers at the Universities of Gothenburg and Linköping managed to find money elsewhere, and the study is now complete. And its contents reveal why some were prepared to go to great lengths to stop it.

The list of disadvantages of wind power is long

Wildlife damage has been reported in the past; birds — including protected eagles — are decapitated by rotor blades. Marine life is disturbed by offshore wind turbines.

Worn-out rotor blades cannot be recycled and accumulate in large scrap yards without anyone knowing how to dispose of them. Nature and recreational values are destroyed in the vicinity of wind farms, so that the tourism industry is affected and other outdoor activities cannot be practised.

The local environment is destroyed for residents by the noise of the wind turbines. Those trying to move away find that the market value of their houses has dropped dramatically. And so on.

In addition, wind turbines have low reliability and only produce electricity when the wind is blowing. When there is too much wind, they produce too much electricity instead, which is also a problem, and wind operators are then offered tax money to switch off turbines. Storing wind-generated electricity is not possible today nor in the foreseeable future.

Now the list of poisoning of flora and fauna is expanding

The new study adds new disadvantages to the list. They are also of an uncomfortable nature, as they involve the pollution and poisoning of nature on land and in waterways, pollutants that can find their way into the food chains of animals and humans.

The findings are so serious and numerous that the researchers behind the study wonder why this has not been investigated before. The answer may lie in the fact that neither the wind power industry nor the various players in the green political movement have wanted to find out what the situation is.

The researchers have found that dangerous particles from wind turbine blades are probably an environmental problem that other researchers and authorities have chosen to underestimate. Helen Karlsson is an adjunct assistant professor of occupational and environmental medicine at Linköping University and one of the initiators of the study.

She says that she became interested in the issue of erosion from wind turbine blades when she realised that there were discrepancies between the wind power industry’s figures and other calculations. Initially, she and her colleagues did not believe that they would find as many rotor blade fragments as they did.

Whatever You Do, Don’t Mention “Remigration”

Martin Sellner is the leader of Identitarian Movement Austria (Identitäre Bewegung Österreich, IBÖ). Yesterday, during a visit to Switzerland, Mr. Sellner’s event was shut down and he was arrested, all because he advocates remigration — that is, the deportation of illegal immigrants.

Mr. Sellner posted about the incident on Twitter (in English):

Today the police in the Kanton of Aargau, Switzerland stormed a speech, turned off the electricity, handcuffed me and performed a push back. I am not allowed to enter Aargau for 2 months. The reason?

  • I presented my book about #remigration. The police claimed that this presentation was a danger to Swiss security and public order.
  • According to the police, it was the first push back like this in 10 years, while 50.000 Illegals entered the country in 2023!
  • This is a disgrace to Swiss democracy. But it still is a win for our movement. They can handcuff me, but not our ideas. Remigration is inevitable!

The following video shows what happened when the event was raided by the police. Many thanks to Oz-Rita and Brunhilde for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes and RAIR Foundation for the subtitling.

“The AfD is the Only Party in Germany That Recognizes Reality”

The AfD (Alternative für Deutschland, Alternative for Germany) is on the verge of being banned, if not at the federal level, then by one or more of the states. The German establishment has decided that the AfD is dangerous, and appears to be unleashing its full power to stop the populist upstarts.

The following campaign ad by the AfD features several immigrants who express their support for the party. It’s interesting and encouraging to see these advocates for political sanity, but I doubt it will have any effect on the push to destroy the AfD.

A Small Country Far Away

Our Israeli correspondent MC sends an update from Sderot, preceded by a reflection on the history of appeasement.

British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain shakes hands with German Chancellor Adolf Hitler in Munich, September 1938

A Small Country Far Away

by MC

Most people who are blind to Hamas’ atrocities probably think along the lines of Israel being “a small nation, far away”, with little understanding that Hamas is only as far away as the nearest CAIR or Muslim Council office. When Chamberlain waved his piece of paper in 1938, everybody (except the Czechs) heaved a sigh of relief.

What the world did not understand was that the Nazis (and all other socialists) are liars, and deceit is part and parcel of being a social humanist as well as being an Islamist.

Lying is a natural way of life. One reason the Ten Commandments were so revolutionary was that they forbade both ‘false witness’ and murder.

A corollary to the Ten Commandments and Torah is that every word and action that we take adds to or changes Creation and thus can we be judged at the appropriate time.

Kibbutz Beeri was a ‘socialist’ kibbutz as kibbutzim go, but Hamas is no respecter of any Western political nuances. The ‘useful idiots’ are always disposable once they become ‘useless idiots’, maybe even dangerous idiots, because they think they are deserving of rewards and privileges.

Both Communism and Nazism had the tendency to make that reward a bullet in the back of the neck…

Jews have been with us for some thousands of years. Thus there must be something unique behind Jewish culture. Those who do not believe that God is behind that culture should appreciate that there must be something special at the root of Judaism that makes it so persistent.

Secular humanists should take note: Socialism failed in France and turned to mass murder. It failed in Russia and turned to mass murder. It failed in Germany and turned to mass murder. Same with Cambodia and Cuba. Chinese communism resorted to mass murder even before firmly in power.

Is there a noticeable trend here? One would think not, judging by the avidity with which people try to repeat the socialist ‘experiment’ and hope for different results.

But Islam is probably the biggest mass slaughterer of all time, and we call it a “Religion of Peace”. Is this existential irony a part of that same insanity?

Those Ivy League universities which allow the persecution of Jews because woke-fake propaganda says that Jews are colonialists and settlers should read the real history of Israel and the Jews. The idea of the modern “Jewish Homeland” entered international law with the San Remo treaty in 1922. This treaty was included in the United Nations Charter under article 80, so EVERY signatory of the United Nations Charter accepted that Israel has the right to exist.

Gaza and “Judea and Samaria” were illegally occupied by Egypt and Jordan respectively when the world left Israel to the wolves and vultures in the 1948 War of Independence, when the Arab world tried to continue the work of the Holocaust, but were beaten back.

There has always been Jewish occupation of the land. If you dig a hole in Israel you find mainly Jewish, but also Roman, Philistine or Canaanite remains, but not ‘Palestinian’, because the current iteration of ‘Palestine’ was only invented in 1963.

Time Flies When You’re Having Fun

Our friend Covid-19 is four years old today — hard to believe, isn’t it?

Not everybody celebrates the anniversary on the same date. Some people identify the 16th as the day the “pandemic” began, when a lot of the lockdowns kicked in and the school closings started. But I prefer the Ides of March. It was a Sunday in 2020, when church was cancelled for the first time.

Happy Birthday, Wuhan Coronavirus!
