ABC Responds to Viral ‘Whistleblower Affidavit’ Claiming Kamala Harris Received Debate Help
ABC News insists it did not break debate rules after a document claiming to be from an anonymous ‘whistleblower’ said there was close collaboration between the network and Kamala Harris’s team before the presidential showdown.

It alleges that ABC News gave Harris questions ahead of the debate, along with agreeing to preconditions to give her a leg up on former President Donald Trump.

Bill Gates Wants to Shape AI and “Misinformation” Control and Oprah is All Ears
Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is very busy these days in the media, promoting his ideas of what the future of humanity should look like, and he is given a chance to do that both on streaming networks like Netflix, and legacy broadcasters like ABC.
It remains a mystery why this man’s opinions on these big topics matter or should matter, let alone be implemented anywhere, given his background. And that’s the already mentioned Microsoft, a poster child for corporate oppression in the tech market, and in many aspects the controversial Gates Foundation.
This mystery was not explained, though, as Oprah Winfrey on ABC let Gates promote regulation that would essentially create a de jure version of what is already de facto happening: the Big Tech-Big Government collusion.

Former President Donald Trump is set to visit the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa in New Britain Township on Sunday, September 22, according to local news. Polish President Andrzej Duda, a conservative leader, is also expected to visit the shrine that same day.
The visit follows heightened security concerns after an attempted assassination attempt the previous Sunday, where a man with a rifle was arrested by authorities. The FBI has accused the man of attempting to target Trump, who had previously survived an assassination attempt in July. Fortunately, no shots were fired.
President Duda is visiting the US next week for the United Nations General Assembly in New York City, where world leaders gather.

Donald Trump spoke out for the first time on Monday night after a second attempton his life was thwarted on Sunday afternoon. On a pre-scheduled X Spaces to talk about crypto, Trump addressed the assassination attempt, the suspect, the rhetoric about him coming from the opposing candidate and her minions in media, as well as the removal of President Joe Biden from the Democratic presidential ticket.
“They have the man behind bars, and hopefully he’s going to be there for a long time,” Trump said. “Dangerous person, very, very dangerous person.” He detailed the events of Sunday afternoon. He had been playing golf with friends “Everything was beautiful,” he said, “it was a nice place to be. And all of a sudden we heard shots being fired in the air, and I guess probably four or five, and it sounded like bullets. But what do I know about that?” He joked. This was the second attempt on his life this summer, the first being in Butler, PA on July 13, when a gunman fired off rounds and struck him in the ear. One man was killed and two others hospitalized with injuries.

Democrats Accused of “Incitement” After Second Attempt on Trump’s Life
Donald Trump survived “what appears to be an attempted assassination”—the second in as many months—near his Florida golf course, the FBI said.
The former president was rushed to safety when a suspected gunman was spotted hiding in the bushes of his Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach on Sunday. Trump has assured his supporters he is “safe and well,” adding: “Nothing will slow me down. I will NEVER SURRENDER!”
The suspect, who fled the scene in a car but was later stopped and arrested, has been identified as 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh.
Unlike Thomas Matthew Crooks, who attempted to assassinate Trump in July, Routh has a large social media footprint—one which has prompted commentators to accuse leading Democrats of “radicalizing” him.

DeSantis Says Federal Authorities Investigating Thwarted Trump Attack ‘May Not be the Best Thing’
Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) detailed his decision to have Florida open its own investigation into the second attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, stressing a need to ensure the truth is told in a “credible” manner.
The former president was golfing at his West Palm Beach golf course Sunday while a suspect, identified as Ryan Wesley Routh, hid nearby with an “AK-47-style rifle” before fleeing the scene, according to law enforcement. When DeSantis was asked if he had spoken with Trump since the assassination attempt, the Florida governor said he had not, though he provided details on the Sunshine State’s own investigation, as he believes there were “multiple violations of state law” with this attempt on Trump’s life.
“We also believe that there is a need to make sure that the truth about all this comes out in a way that’s credible,” DeSantis said at a Monday press conference. “I look at the federal government, with all due respect to them, those same agencies that are prosecuting Trump in that jurisdiction are now going to be investigating this? I just think that that may not be the best thing for this country.”

It turns out Routh was well known to law enforcement and had been on the FBI’s radar since 2019. A tip came in claiming that the convicted felon was in possession of a firearm, officials revealed at a press conference on Monday, but the tipster never confirmed the information.

Man Fatally Stabs Wife of 65 Years During Argument in Wright Co. Home: Charges
ANNANDALE, Minn. (FOX 9) — An 85-year-old man is accused of fatally stabbing his wife during an argument at their home in Wright County.
On the morning of Sept. 12, the criminal complaint alleges Rodney Anderson called 911 to report that he had stabbed his wife. When law enforcement arrived at the house in Annandale, they found Anderson sitting on the steps with his hands on his head and said he appeared to be shaking.
While speaking with law enforcement, Anderson claimed he had gotten into an argument with his wife of more than 65 years, and at some point, he took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed her. Authorities reported finding his wife on the kitchen floor along with evidence of blood and a knife in the kitchen sink.
When attempting life-saving measures, authorities reported seeing “several puncture wounds” to the victim’s abdomen and described her clothes as being “soaked with blood.” She was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.
Anderson allegedly told law enforcement that he and his wife “continuously argued,” and they had a big argument that morning, which lasted up until the stabbing, charges explained.
“I guess I lost my head,” Anderson allegedly said, adding that he called 911 after the incident.

Pipeline Explosion Near Houston Erupts in a Towering Flame, Forcing Evacuations
DEER PARK, Texas (AP) — A pipeline explosion near Houston erupted in a towering flame over neighborhoods for hours on Monday, forcing evacuations and shelter orders and melting playground equipment as firefighters struggled to keep nearby homes from burning.
Operators shut off the flow of natural gas liquids, but so much remained in the 20-inch (51-centimeter) pipeline that firefighters could do nothing but watch and hose down adjacent homes until it burns itself out. That could take hours, perhaps into Tuesday, Deer Park Mayor Jerry Mouton Jr. said.
“The fire, it’s very hot, so a lot of the house structures that are adjacent to that are still catching on fire even though we’re putting a lot of water on them,” Mouton said.
Local authorities would not speculate about the cause of the fire and what role a burned car near the source of the flame may have had. The pipeline’s owner, Dallas-based Energy Transfer, said in a statement that it was “aware of early reports” that a car had struck some valve equipment but did not offer more details, including the origin of those reports.
One firefighter sustained a minor injury, the only one reported so far.

Sheriff Suggests “Ominous… Conspiracy” Behind Trump Assassination Attempt
Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Modernity.news
Martin County Sheriff Will Snyder suggested there may be an “ominous” wider “conspiracy” at play regarding yesterday’s suspect in the attempted assassination of Trump given that the gunman appeared to know Trump’s private schedule.
Ryan Wesley Routh appeared to know that Trump was playing golf at a Florida resort despite this not being public knowledge and the decision to play being last minute.
“To my knowledge does he have any ties to Martin County? The answer is no…I think what we’re finding out is he’s not from this area, which of course raises the bigger question is how does a guy from not here get all the way to Trump International, realize that the former president of the United States is golfing and is able to get a rifle in that vicinity,” commented Snyder.
“Is this guy part of a conspiracy? Is he a lone gunman? If he’s a lone gunman, President Trump is that much safer because we have him. But if he’s part of a conspiracy then this whole thing really takes on a very ominous tone,” added the Sheriff.

Sunlight and Clouds — Not CO2 — Drive Earth’s Climate; ‘Shocking’ New Study Finds
Authored by Katie Spence via The Epoch Times
This year’s summer months were characterized by cold outdoor pools that eagerly welcomed guests, concrete that scorched the soles of bare feet, and popsicles that melted in the relentless, blazing heat.
In August, the European Commission’s Copernicus report found that the global average temperature had reached record highs in the past 12 months, an increase of 1.51 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels.
Similarly, using satellite data, Roy Spencer and John Christy of the University of Alabama Huntsville determined that the average temperature in August was 0.88 degrees Celsius higher than the 30-year average from 1991—2020.
Extreme heat is not just an environmental crisis, it’s a serious threat to our public health—and communities across the country are struggling to respond,” Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said in a news release.
“What we’re facing today wasn’t what we were experiencing 30 or 40 years ago. This is a different world we are in.”
On Aug. 14, President Joe Biden released the National Heat Strategy for 2024—2030, fulfilling a July promise to take additional action to address increasing temperatures, which the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) states is primarily caused by human-induced increases in carbon dioxide (CO2), a greenhouse gas.
“Stabilizing the climate will require strong, rapid, and sustained reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, and reaching net zero CO2 emissions,” Panmao Zhai, a Chinese climatologist, and co-chair of the IPCC Working Group I, stated in a press release.
“Limiting other greenhouse gases and air pollutants, especially methane, could have benefits both for health and the climate.”
Ned Nikolov, a physical scientist and researcher affiliated with Colorado State University, told The Epoch Times the IPCC is incorrect regarding CO2.

On Tuesday, Trump will travel to Flint, Michigan, for a town-hall-style event with his former press secretary, Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders (R-AR), according to the New York Times. The next day he will head to his home state of New York for a rally in Uniondale at the Nassau Coliseum. On Thursday, he will be in Washington, D.C., to attend an event for a pro-Israel group. White House Pushes for Collaboration With Big Tech on “Safe” AI
On Thursday, a pivotal meeting at the White House brought together leaders from major tech corporations including OpenAI, Anthropic, Nvidia, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, alongside top executives from key American power and utility companies. Although the discussions officially centered on the energy demands of the rapidly advancing artificial intelligence sector, the underlying focus was increasingly on the drive towards developing “safe” and “responsible” AI—a theme that has sparked considerable debate about who gets to define exactly what is safe and responsible.
Among the notable attendees were Nvidia’s CEO Jensen Huang, OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman, Anthropic’s CEO Dario Amodei, Microsoft’s president Brad Smith, Google’s president Ruth Porat, and AWS’s CEO Matt Garman. The discussions aimed to fortify public-private collaboration, ostensibly to support the energy needs crucial for sustaining AI development, yet the gathering also delved deeply into the ramifications of intensified safety and ethical standards.

Perhaps the most interesting angle to attempted Trump assassin Ryan Routh’s recent history in his Ukraine connection. We documented that when he went to Ukraine to recruit for its International Legion in 2022 he was a Western mainstream media darling for a time, having been quoted on behalf of the cause to get more foreign fighters thrown into the battle against Russia by a who’s who of major media sources from FT to Newsweek to the NY Times.
But when he arrived in Ukraine, according to these media reports, the 58-year old Routh himself was considered too old to fight alongside the Ukrainian army. “So plan B,” Routh described to one outlet, “was to come to Kiev and promote the idea of many others coming to join the International Legion. We need thousands of people here to fight alongside Ukrainians.”
“There are about 190 countries on our planet, and if the governments are not officially sending soldiers here, then we civilians should pick up this torch and make it happen,” he described. He had told Newsweek in a video interview from Ukraine that the war with Russia was as simple as “good vs. evil” and essentially the same as good guys and bad guys in the Hollywood movies Americans grew up with. It was not a gray conflict, he described, but “black and white”.

A background check by Fox News stated that Ryan Wesley Routh’s current residence is in Hawaii and that he is a frequent visitor at police stations because of his dozens of arrests. He is originally from North Carolina and his rap sheet includes arrests for simple drug possession, driving without a license, expired inspection and operating a vehicle with no insurance. France’s Court of Audit Slams Macron’s SNU Over ‘Chaotic Management and Underestimated Costs’
The French Court of Audit has published a critical report on the Universal National Service (SNU), President Emmanuel Macron’s civic-military programme, highlighting what the court called significant issues in its management and financial planning.
Published on September 13, the report revealed a disorganised implementation of the SNU and underestimations of its costs.
“The roll-out of the SNU has encountered a number of difficulties, particularly with regard to the reception of minors and the recruitment and remuneration of supervisors,” the report said.

German ‘Citizens’ Council’ Wants to Criminalise Spread of “Disinformation”
German left-wing Interior Minister Nancy Faeser is intent on cracking down on what she describes as “fake news,” and has set up a citizens’ forum that has recommended punishing individuals who spread “disinformation.”
The initiative to silence free speech in the name of preventing “disinformation” seems more like the work of an authoritarian regime than a democratic government—but seeing how the left-liberal ‘traffic light’ coalition of Germany has attempted to silence opposition journalists and rewarded media outlets that have spread fake news, the new proposals should come as no surprise.

Germany: Explosion Rocks Cologne City Center
A major police operation has been in full swing in Cologne city centre since the early morning hours following an explosion at a commercial building early on Monday morning.
The entrance area of a building on Hohenzollernring was severely damaged, reported the WDR. The Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger reports that explosion occurred at the Vanity Club Cologne discotheque, but it is not clear whether it was a targeted attack against that business.
The Express reports that it obtained the video from a surveillance camera in the entrance area, showing a person wearing a hoodie putting a bag or sack down in front of an entrance. The building owner told Bild,
This is terror in Cologne. Someone detonated an explosive device, even though he must have seen that there were people there. I estimate that the damage is worth 100,000 euros.
A cleaner survived the explosion and is currently in hospital. According to police, he is considered seriously injured.

Greece to Give Homeowners Incentives to Ditch Short-Term Rentals
The Greek Government has said it would give a three-year tax break to homeowners who converted their short-term rentals to long-term ones.
As part of a plan to tackle housing shortages, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said on September 8 that Greece also planned to increase a tax on short-term rentals and ban new rental licences in central Athens.
Residents in the capital have responded positively. “It’s a huge issue because it’s changing the urban landscape. Where there are traditional buildings, now there’s a modern one next to them, designed to be an Airbnb,” said 58-years old Athens resident Penny Platanitou.

Hungary: Airbnb Banned in Budapest District After Referendum, Could a National Ban be Next?
One Budapest district has banned Airbnb after 6,083 Terézvaros residents voted in favor of the policy, according to an announcement on the municipality’s website. Now, there are talks of a potential national ban on short-term rental apartments, which could dramatically bring down rental and housing prices.
According to the vote data, 3,265 voted yes, equaling 54 percent of votes, versus 2,818. The vote could set the stage for Airbnb to be banned from the district entirely.
Due to the vote, Terézvaros will ban all short-term vacation apartments as of Jan. 1, 2026. The decision was made by the residents of the district in a decisive vote based on the authorization of the parliament.

A near-record amount of water will arrive with the flood in Szigetköz, where more than 500 specialists of the National Directorate General of Water (OVF) are already present, said the spokesperson of the OVF, Gabriella Siklós.
“It is more and more certain that a very large amount of water arrives in the country on the Danube,” said Siklós, speaking to the public media on Monday morning.
The specialists of the National Water Warning Service currently believe that the water level in the section up to Budapest and in the capital will be about 40 centimeters lower than during the 2013 flooding peaks. Siklós said that since it is still raining in the catchment areas of the Traun, the Enns, and the Vienna basin, this data will still need to be clarified.

UK High Court Revokes Permit for First Coal Mine in 30 Years

London’s High Court on Friday quashed a planning permission for the UK’s first new coal mine in three decades, ruling that the permit was unlawful as it hadn’t considered the emissions from burning the fuel.
Earlier this year, climate campaigners, including Friends of the Earth, challenged the approval of the coal mining project.
The UK’s previous Conservative government approved in December 2022 the Woodhouse Colliery project in Whitehaven, northwest England, developed by West Cumbria Mining.

Labour’s newly elected government will “fast-track” a vote on assisted suicide—which will almost certainly see the practice legalised—despite serious concerns around the PM’s own cabinet table that this will lead to elderly people being urged to end their lives.
Sir Keir Starmer will “accelerate the process” so a vote can take place before Christmas, according to The Mail on Sunday. That’s far sooner than reports were suggesting just a fortnight ago, coinciding with Starmer’s health secretary, Wes Streeting, warning that the horrific state of end-of-life care in Britain means the health service is not ready for legalisation.

Von Der Leyen’s ‘Commission Crisis’ Escalates Ahead of Strasbourg Plenary
The autumn’s first plenary session in the European Parliament this week is shaping up to be quite a memorable one—and for multiple reasons. President-elect Ursula von der Leyen is expected to present her plan for distributing portfolios in her new cabinet to MEPs but the deadlock that has resulted from her obsessive gender requirements makes it impossible to stay on schedule.
As we explained last week, Slovenia’s progressive government is still unable to finalize its commissioner nomination after von der Leyen is suspected of having pressured it to ditch its initial male candidate in favor of a woman, Marta Kos, possibly offering the enlargement portfolio in return. The parliamentary committee that is supposed to confirm the Kos’ nomination is controlled by the right-wing opposition. It has said it will not schedule the meeting until Slovenian PM Robert Golob releases his correspondence with von der Leyen and admits that the swap was motivated by Brussels’ blackmail.

Hamas Chief Says Ready for ‘Long War’ in Gaza
PALESTINIAN TERRITORIES — Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar said Monday the Palestinian group had the resources to sustain its fight against Israel, with support from Iran-backed regional allies, nearly a year into the Gaza war.
Sinwar, who last month replaced slain Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, said in a letter to the group’s Yemeni allies that “we have prepared ourselves to fight a long war of attrition”.
Deadly fighting raged on in the besieged Gaza Strip, where medics and rescuers said Monday that Israeli strikes — which the military has not commented on — killed at least two dozen people.
The latest strikes came as Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant warned that prospects for a halt in fighting with Hezbollah militants in Lebanon were dimming, yet again raising fears of a wider regional conflagration.

Putin Orders Expansion of Russia’s Military to 1.5m Active Troops
Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the country’s military to expand to 1.5 million active troops, bringing the total military personnel to nearly 2.4 million, according to a decree dated Monday.
The decree, which will take effect on Dec. 1, would increase the number of active troops by 180,000. It marks Putin’s third official expansion of Russia’s military since the war with Ukraine began in early 2022.
In August 2022, Putin ordered the military to expand by the start of the next year, adding 137,000 troops, bringing the total to 1.15 million. In December 2023, Putin ordered another official expansion of 170,000 active troops, bringing the total to 1.32 million.
The latest expansion comes as the battle with Ukraine intensifies. Ukraine invaded Russia’s Kursk region in early August, capturing miles of territory and hundreds of prisoners. Russia has fought back and vowed to clear Ukraine from the area.

Russia Ramps Up Air Assault on Ukrainian Cities
KYIV, Ukraine — Ukrainian authorities on Monday said they had repelled a “massive” Russian attack on Kyiv in the early morning hours. They said it was the eighth attack on the Ukrainian capital in just over two weeks, in what appears to be an escalation by Russia of its long-running air campaign against the city.
Serhii Popko, the head of Kyiv’s military administration, said Ukrainian forces had shot down nearly two dozen Russian drones around Kyiv, and the Ukrainian air force said it had intercepted 53 of 56 Russian drones overnight.
Popko said that in contrast to recent attacks, “this one was massive,” and that an air-raid alert was announced about 2 a.m. in the capital and remained in effect for about 3 1/2 hours.
The Ukrainian military’s claims could not be independently verified, and there was no comment from Russian authorities.

Why Do So Many Young Africans Want to Leave?
Nearly three in five young Africans said that they are either very or somewhat likely to consider emigrating to another country in the next three years, according to the African Youth Survey 2024 by Ichikowitz Family Foundation.
As Statista’s Anna Fleck details below, this marks a seven percentage point increase from 2022, when the last survey wave was conducted, likely driven by the improving freedom of movement post-pandemic.
Where young people from Rwanda who are considering emigrating said that it would likely only be temporary (90 percent), those in Nigeria (45 percent), Ghana (44 percent) and Congo Brazzaville (41 percent) were among those more likely to say they would make a permanent move. The 2024 poll included 5,604 people aged between 18 and 24 year olds across 16 countries: Botswana, Cameroon, Chad, Congo Brazzaville, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia.

G20 Ministers Meet in Brazil to Discuss “Disinformation” Censorship Agenda
Wrong time, wrong place, wrong group — or quite the opposite, depending on the point of view. But G20 ministers were meeting in Brazil last week, just as the country keeps putting its own democracy and laws to the serious test in an escalating “war” with Elon Musk’s X.
It took no time for G20 to show which side it’s taking in the battle between a government given to online censorship and in clear need of controlling the political and media narratives, versus a major social platform that has broken ranks with its peers as an obedient executioner of censorship, including on behalf of various governments.
G20 ministers who converged on Maceio in northern Brazil late last week didn’t quite spell all this out (does anybody speak clearly anymore? The higher, the fewer, as they say).

250,000 Kenyans for Germany? Far-Left Government Issue Panic Denial as State Elections Loom
The German media was abuzz throughout the weekend about the news that 250,000 Kenyans were headed to Germany to work as skilled or semi-skilled workers. With Brandenburg state elections a week away, and with immigration the number one topic as voters head to the polls, the news arguably could not have come at a worse time for the far-left government.
Now, there are panic denials coming from the government, with the interior ministry contradicting the claims. Kenyan President William Ruto was the one who first broke the news, telling Deutsche Welle that he had signed an agreement with Germany that would allow Germany to return illegal immigrants, and in exchange, Kenya would send skilled labor as migrants.

Eight Migrants Dead in Attempted English Channel Crossing
Eight migrants died in a failed overnight crossing on Sunday, September 13th. The men, from Eritrea, Sudan, Syria, Egypt, Iran, and Afghanistan, died when their boat broke up on rocks near the coastline of Ambleteuse in the Pas-de-Calais area. Local authorities reported rescuing an additional 51 migrants from the same vessel.
The tragedy coincides with 2024’s second largest recorded migrant Channel crossings to date, where 801 migrants reached UK shores in 14 boats. It has focused further attention on government policy, following the failure of the previous Conservative administration under Rishi Sunak to ‘stop the boats’ and the eventual scrapping of the much-hyped ‘Rwanda plan’ for offshoring asylum applicants.

‘Queers for Palestine’ Offered $1 Million to Hold LGBTQ Parade in Gaza
A group wanting to callout the alliance of some pro-Palestine protesters with LGBTQ advocates said Monday that it is offering $1 million to “Queers for Palestine” or any similar outfit to host a gay pride parade in Gaza or the West Bank.
Anti-Israel groups such as “Queers for Palestine” often march or protest with the tacit or explicit support of LGBTQ promoters, joining forces since the Hamas attack on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023. Yet homosexuality and all of the gay agenda are often illegal and discouraged in all Muslim countries.
New Tolerance Campaign (NTC) President Gregory T. Angelo, who is the former president of the gay-identifying Log Cabin Republicans, said the offer is no publicity stunt but a “wake-up call” to anyone who sees no discrepancy in titles like “Queers for Palestine” or “Gays for Gaza.”

Ukraine Claims it Will Help Hungary With Flooding After Threatening to Cut Off Hungary’s Oil and Gas Supplies
– the Ukrainians offered to help also in the Czech Republic. A word is that they raised about 55 Euro to help the Czechs, and there was about 1500 comments “F U Czechs, why would I help you?”
But I don’t blame them. They live here semi illegally, they work for below minimum wages, and they come from zero trust failed society – why would they be helping anyone?
The biggest fault is on our side, that the West portrays Ukraine as some shiny democratic country, when in fact, it has been a failed state for at least 10 years already, and everyone who can is trying to get away.
