10 LA Schools Could Stop Standardized Tests After Board President Calls Testing Industry ‘Repugnant’
The Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) voted 4-3 Tuesday on a resolution that would allow 10 schools to opt out of standardized tests and test preparation beginning in the 2025-26 school year.
LAUSD President Jackie Goldberg read during the Tuesday morning board meeting that the resolution stipulates that once the schools “develop and pilot innovative, authentic, rigorous and relevant” assessments, the schools “will be excused from any standardized testing with the exception of state and federally mandated assessments.”
Goldberg, who “hoped” for the resolution to be adopted before leaving her post as president, said that the measure would “begin to change how we look at student assessment.” She said that she is “not against assessment.”

Alleged Would-be Trump Assassin Ryan Routh Donated Exclusively to Democrats Since 2019
The Hawaii man suspected in former President Donald Trump’s assassination attempt on Sunday is a long-time Democrat, donating exclusively to the party’s candidates 19 times since 2019, records show.
Between September 2019 and March 2020, Ryan Routh contributed more than $140 on the Democratic fundraising platform ActBlue, Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings show.
The filings indicate he lived in Kaaawa, Hawaii, at the time of the donations. The records indicate that he was “not employed.”
While the money went to ActBlue, it was earmarked for individual 2020 Democratic presidential primary candidates including former Rep. Beto O’Rourk (D-Texas), Andrew Yang and Tom Steyer of New York and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (R-Mass.)

Cornell Prof Who Lauded Hamas Attack as ‘Exhilarating’ is Back at School After Dodging Punishment
The radical Cornell University prof who lauded the Hamas terror attack on Israel as “exhilarating” and “energizing” dodged any punishment and is now back teaching at the upstate Ivy League school.
Shamed history Professor Russell Rickford was out for the past year on “voluntary leave” after widespread public outcry when he was recorded at an off-campus anti-Israel rally cheering Hamas’ Oct. 7, 2023, invasion that slaughtered 1,200 Israelis.
“It was exhilarating, it was energizing …I was exhilarated,” Rickford said at the time — before apologizing for applauding the mass murder of innocent civilians.

Demands Mount for Trump to Get Same Protection as Biden — After Yet Another Assassination Plot
WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump urgently needs enhanced Secret Service protection after a suspect was arrested Sunday in another apparent assassination attempt on the Republican nominee, Trump’s political supporters demanded Sunday.
The would-be assassin, identified as 58-year-old Ryan Routh of Hawaii, was detained after a Secret Service agent spotted the barrel of his AK-47 style rifle through a chain link fence on the outskirts of Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach.
The ex-president, 78, was on the course at the time. Authorities have yet to determine if the shooter squeezed off any shots at Trump.

DeSantis Warns Against Dragging Vote Count Beyond Election Night: ‘Absolutely Killing Public Trust’
Finding out who will be America’s 47th president could take quite some time after election night, if speculations from a recent New York Times article prove true.
With just over 50 days left until voters head to the ballot box in droves, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says taking the counting beyond election night is “outrageous.”
“You’ll have one candidate that may have a big lead because of Election Day votes and then people wake up the next morning and say, ‘Yeah, my candidate’s up 6%,’ and then they keep counting the next day, and then they count more the next day, and then the lead flips,” he told “Sunday Morning Futures” host Maria Bartiromo.

‘Fact-Checkers’ Forced to Admit Trump’s Claim About Kamala Harris is ‘Basically True’
The debate between President Donald Trump and Democrat presidential nominee Kamala Harris kept fact-checkers scrambling for days.
Multiple bombshell claims were made on both sides of the debate stage.
However, it was only Trump who faced real-time “fact-checks” from the partisan ABC News moderators while Harris was given a free pass to lie with impunity.
Perhaps one of the biggest claims was Trump’s allegation that Harris supports taxpayer-funded transgender surgeries for illegal aliens currently being held in custody.

Florida Will Conduct Investigation Into Trump Assassination Attempt: DeSantis
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Sunday announced the state will launch its own investigation into the apparent assassination attempt targeting former President Donald Trump earlier in the day.
The FBI has said in a statement it is investigating the matter as an assassination attempt, while law enforcement officials said on Sunday that Secret Service agents opened fire after discovering the barrel of a rifle at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach, Florida. The suspect was later arrested by sheriff’s officials in Marion County, the county’s sheriff’s department said.
“The State of Florida will be conducting its own investigation regarding the attempted assassination at Trump International Golf Club,” DeSantis said in a social media statement. “The people deserve the truth about the would-be assassin and how he was able to get within 500 yards of the former president and current GOP nominee.”

Fox News confirmed earlier that the suspect in the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trumphas been identified as Ryan Wesley Routh.
Using public records, Routh appears to be from Greensboro, North Carolina (some reports say he now lives in Hawaii) and was or still is part owner of United Roofing and Construction Inc.
On Yelp, one negative review for “United Roofing” in late 2016 said:
“As a military member trying to buy a home before returning from a deployment, the proprietor, Ryan Routh, insulted me for trying to buy a house site unseen as many military members do returning from overseas.”
Another customer was unhappy with Routh’s work in 2017.
Perhaps the shooter was just a lousy roofer who turned far-left activist at some point. FEC filings show Routh donated to ‘ActBlue,’ the grassroots fundraising machine for the Democratic Party.
In the days after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, corporate media ran their propaganda machine, and it was possibly at that point that turned Routh into a NATO activist.
What’s startling is that corporate media, such as NYTimes, Financial Times, Semafor, and others, paraded the shooter around with a number of quotes about Ukraine and Taiwan.

Lawsuit Takes on Federal Campaign to Silence Vaccine Injury Claims
The New Civil Liberties Alliance (NCLA) has taken significant legal action by amending its complaint in the ongoing Dressen, et al. v. Flaherty, et al. case. This action challenges the alleged collusion between various federal entities and social media platforms aimed at stifling the voices of individuals claiming injuries from Covid vaccines. The complaint underscores a pervasive campaign spearheaded by agencies including the White House, the CDC, and the Surgeon General’s Office. These bodies are accused of pressuring social media giants to dismiss and discredit as “misinformation” the personal accounts and communications within private online groups of those affected by vaccine side effects.

Soros-Tied Leader Visited White House
(Washington D.C.) — Rashad Robinson, president of the Soros-backed racial justice group Color of Change, visited the White House multiple times during the Biden administration, according to visitor logs. While records confirm at least five visits, discrepancies in middle initials suggest Robinson may have visited up to 16 times, including meetings with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris. Color of Change did not clarify the exact number of visits or Robinson’s role in the prosecution of former President Donald Trump.
In May, following Trump’s indictment by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, Robinson claimed credit for helping to elect Bragg. He praised his organization for holding Bragg accountable to its goals, not only in prosecuting Trump but in shaping broader criminal justice reform. Color of Change endorsed Bragg’s 2021 campaign and pledged $1 million to support him.
Color of Change has received financial backing from liberal donor George Soros, who contributed $1 million after the group announced support for Bragg’s candidacy. Soros has a long history of supporting progressive organizations and criminal justice reforms.

Austrian Alps Hammered by Huge Autumn Snowfall
It often snows at altitude in September, but the levels seen over the past few days in places have been described as ‘unprecedented’ by weather experts.

Demographic Decline: Greece Faces Alarming Population Collapse
Empty villages, disillusioned young workers, and government officials scrambling for solutions: this is the stark reality Euronews uncovered in Greece, where the country is bracing for a major population collapse fuelled by plummeting numbers of births, mass emigration, and low fertility rates.
Six years after Greece exited its financial bailout programmes, marking the official end of a painful economic crisis, the country is now facing a new kind of emergency that could influence its social and economic structure: population decline. Projections suggest that by 2070, Greece’s population could shrink by as much as 25%, way above the EU average of 4%.
In 2022, the country recorded less than 77,000 births, the lowest in almost a century, while deaths nearly doubled that number, reaching 140,000. Nothing seems to indicate that this trend will change anytime soon.

Eastern Germany Braces for Floods Amid Chaos in Central Europe
Eastern Germany is bracing for floods as the catastrophic rains hitting its Central European neighbours threaten to spill over the German border.
Authorities in the state of Saxony said on Sunday that the level of the Elbe river in Schöna, near the border to the Czech Republic, is expected to peak on Tuesday afternoon at 7.50 metres — enough to declare the highest alarm level in the area.
The Elbe has already risen to 5.59 metres in Schöna, far above the average height of 1.58 metres. It is expected to reach 6 metres by Sunday evening.
Should waters rise to the highest alarm level, the state flood centre said dams could overflow or break, causing built-up areas to flood and posing a threat to life and limb.

NATO Admiral Backs Ukraine Long-Range Missile Strikes on Russia
PRAGUE (AP) — The head of NATO’s military committee said Saturday that Ukraine has the solid legal and military right to strike deep inside Russia to gain combat advantage — reflecting the beliefs of a number of U.S. allies — even as the Biden administration balks at allowing Kyiv to do so using American-made weapons.
“Every nation that is attacked has the right to defend itself. And that right doesn’t stop at the border of your own nation,” said Adm. Rob Bauer, speaking at the close of the committee’s annual meeting, also attended by U.S. Gen. CQ Brown, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Libertarians Make Waves With Record-Breaking Result in NSW Local Elections
The Libertarian Party could secure up to 15 seats in councils across New South Wales and potentially take control of a key regional council after the Liberal Party failed to nominate over 100 candidates for last weekend’s local government elections.
NSW Libertarian MP John Ruddick attributed some of his party’s success to the Liberals’ organisational mishap but stressed that this is just the beginning of a growing movement as Australians turn to alternatives beyond the traditional parties.
Ruddick is confident that around half of the 32 Libertarian candidates will be elected, including Gregory Harris in Upper Lachlan Shire. The party has been vocal against initiatives like drag queen storytime at local libraries and other “woke” programs, which they argue are outside the core responsibilities of councils, such as roads, rates and rubbish.
Viewing every issue through a lens of reducing government size, Ruddick said, “we’re radically pro-capitalism.” The party garnered nearly 25% of the primary vote in the MidCoast region by Sunday morning, and they are in contention to secure a majority and possibly the mayorship of the large regional council.

EU’s Borrell Calls Maduro’s Regime ‘Dictatorial’
The EU’s chief diplomat Josep Borrell described Nicolas Maduro’s regime in Venezuela as “dictatorial” and “authoritarian” on Sunday, alluding to those forced to flee the country, including the opposition leader whom Madrid granted asylum last week.
Borrell commented on Maduro’s regime in an exclusive interview with Spanish private television station Telecinco, broadcast on Sunday.
“Let’s not fool ourselves about the nature of things. Venezuela has called elections, but it was not a democracy before, and it is much less so after”, Borrell added, reported EFE.
In particular, Borrell highlighted the fact that opposition leader Edmundo Gonzalez Urrutia and “seven million Venezuelans” have had to flee the country and the “thousand restrictions” to which political parties are subjected.

Former EU Chief Juncker Criticizes Germany’s Border Controls
Former European Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker has voiced opposition to Germany’s imminent increase in border controls, warning of the inconvenience posed to commuters and the potential threat to European integration.
On Monday, German Interior Minister Nancy Faeser ordered the introduction of temporary controls at all German land borders to curb the number of unauthorized entries, in an effort to clamp down on migration.
The checks — which expand an existing scheme to all German entry points — are to begin on Monday and will initially last for six months.
Speaking to dpa in his native Luxembourg, Juncker said he was not a fan of border controls because they inconvenience commuters.

Germany Pledges New Border Checks Will be ‘Targeted’ to Avoid Queues
Border controls along all of Germany’s frontiers will be targeted to “combat cross-border crime and further limit irregular migration,” the Interior Ministry said on Sunday, a day before the expanded measures take effect.
Neighbouring states have expressed concern that the border checks will lead to tailbacks, hampering regular cross-border traffic. The measures were announced last week amid a caustic German debate on migration triggered by a spate of recent attacks.
The police will carry out the spot checks “flexibly and according to current security requirements,” the Interior Ministry said. The extent, duration and specific locations for the controls would depend on these factors.

Trust Accounts to Fund Open Borders
The Center for Gender & Refugee Studies has spent years battling on behalf of illegal alien invaders. Earlier, Freedom Center Investigates exposed how the lawfare group housed at a University of California law school provides full service open borders support.
“During Trump, my CGRS colleagues and I expended a tremendous amount of energy challenging the anti-immigrant policies that were issued on what seemed like an almost daily basis,” Karen Musalo, the CGRS founding director, boasted.
The Center also offers a database of “expert witnesses” willing to testify on behalf of the ‘refugee’ claims of border invaders. It urges licensed medical or mental health personnel to register to “support asylum seekers with forensic mental or physical evaluations.”
Who funds the CRGS open borders lawfare? Many of those who fund it don’t even know it.
CGRS is one of the radical leftist groups that benefits from interest seized from trust accounts controlled by lawyers and redistributed to some of the most extreme groups around.

Major banks are being urged to stop financing the global farming industry as part of an effort to force limits on the general public’s meat and dairy consumption.

Dr. Jordan Peterson Faces Five New Complaints From ‘Woke Censors’
More complaints have been filed against Dr. Jordan Peterson, of which none relate to his professional capacity as a psychologist.
“My lawyers and I received not one but five (!) additional complaints last week — part of the endless litany of whining manipulative missives,” Dr. Peterson wrote in a National Post op-ed.
“What was my crime this time? Yet another tweet, with clear political intent, criticizing none other than Kamala Harris … Have you ever listened to Harris?”
All five public complainants objected to the former psychologist’s use of the word “retarded” in a social media post.

Half-Naked ‘Performance Artist’ Twerks on Cop Car in Front of Kids at DC Gender-Rights March: Video
Thousands flooded DC on Saturday for the inaugural Gender Liberation March — including a “performance artist” who did a sexually explicit dance on the hood of a cop car as a little girl and hapless officers looked on, viral video shows.
The marchers danced in the streets, waved flags and chanted in support of a range of causes, from abortion access to gender-affirming care for transgender youth, and listened to speeches delivered by LGBTQ icons such as actor Elliot Page and “The Dads” documentarian Stephen Chukumba in the nation’s capital.
Just off the marching route, in full view of the teeming masses, a person in knee-high boots and leather underwear — complete with a studded codpiece and fishnet top that fully exposed their breasts — put on a sideshow, gyrating on the hood of a police car and twerking while blaring Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” through a speaker she was toting strapped to a dolly cart.

“… taxpayer-funded transgender surgeries for illegal aliens currently being held in custody.”
We do this already in Europe, don’t we? Except they hardly ever get locked up before someone dies. Anyhow, think about it, this is is actually ironic if not cynical. They absolutely know that of those illegal aliens claiming transgender whatever, there is a low chance that any of it has to do with genuine genders garbled up in their brain, and a high chance that all of it is made up out of pure opportunism because they caught wind it gives them preferential treatment through the bureaucratic and legal process, more free money, ways to get women or whatever other advantages. If these imposters are castrated along the way, be my guest.
