Alice Weidel is the co-leader of the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland, Alternative for Germany). In the following speech on the floor of the Bundestag, Ms. Weidel makes some pointed remarks about the dire crises now facing Germany, including the migration crisis and the plummeting economy. She also talks about the way the AfD is vilified, persecuted, and shut out of government positions that would otherwise be its electoral due.

Video transcript:
00:00 | The next speaker is Dr. Alice Weidel, member of the AfD faction.
00:17 | Dear Madam President, dear Mr. Chancellor, dear ladies and gentlemen,
00:26 | Almost three weeks have passed
00:31 | since the gruesome knife terror attack by a failed Syrian asylum seeker in Solingen.
00:38 | Ten days have passed since the devastating defeat
00:43 | in the elections in Saxony and Thuringia,
00:47 | which degraded your chancellor’s party to a splinter party.
00:55 | You still want to convince yourselves that the voters
00:58 | are running away from you in droves because you haven’t explained your policy well enough.
01:05 | The opposite is the case. The citizens have understood very well that your policy
01:10 | means destruction of prosperity, deindustrialization, mass migration
01:17 | and loss of internal security.
01:20 | You are the chancellor of the decline, Mr. Scholz.
01:30 | For the erosion of Germany as an industrial nation
01:33 | also means the demise of Volkswagen.
01:36 | For alleged climate protection
01:40 | you are destroying the German economy.
01:43 | The VW disaster is only the tip of the iceberg.
01:48 | 500,000 — half a million — unemployed.
01:54 | Statistics show that since you took over the government,
01:59 | there are hundreds of thousands of families,
02:03 | millions of people who have to fear for their future.
02:07 | And it affects all industries, especially the automotive industry and everything that depends on it.
02:13 | The supplier ZF cuts up to 14,000 jobs.
02:17 | At SAP, 10,000 jobs are lost.
02:20 | Ford, 4,600. Bosch, 3,760.
02:25 | Bayer, 3,200. BASF, 3,300. Michelin, 1,500.
02:32 | Miele, 1,300. Continental, 1,200.
02:36 | The most illustrious names are shedding jobs in Germany
02:40 | and relocating abroad because they are no longer competitive here.
02:49 | The list is getting longer every day.
02:52 | Thyssen Krupp’s steel spade is proving to be unsaleable
02:55 | due to unprofitability, and is about to collapse.
03:00 | 27,000 jobs are in danger.
03:04 | The number of insolvencies reached a 10-year high in July —
03:11 | 40% more than in the previous year. A dramatic balance sheet.
03:17 | And it is your balance sheet, Mr. Scholz.
03:21 | Your heat pump, Minister Habeck — whom I don’t see here today,
03:25 | and where is Minister Habeck at this debate today, anyway? —
03:29 | even wants to force private households that are under threat
03:33 | to pay for the politically required dismantling
03:37 | of perfectly functioning gas networks.
03:42 | The budget, which you have finally presented after several vain attempts,
03:51 | is as amateurish and patched-together as your entire government coalition.
04:02 | You burden citizens with record levels of taxes
04:06 | and levies and still can’t make ends meet.
04:10 | You pile a mountain of debt upon a mountain of debt, and it’s not enough for you.
04:16 | To put it bluntly, this budget is an outrage
04:20 | and an unseriousness that couldn’t be worse.
04:28 | While you try to appease the citizens with
04:33 | alibi politics and migration caps, knife attacks and rapes
04:39 | by illegal migrants continue to take place every day.
04:43 | Shortly before the state elections, you celebrate
04:48 | an absurd luxury deportation of all of 28 Afghan felons,
04:53 | and even give them a princely handout of €1,000 to send them on their way.
05:00 | That’s two Afghan annual salaries,
05:05 | the reward for murder and rape and a further invitation for illegal migration.
05:15 | At the same time, this Federal Ministry of the Interior,
05:22 | under Nancy Faeser, is funding a portal
05:25 | that, in nine languages, provides tips and tricks
05:29 | against its own authorities, to avoid deportation.
05:34 | This federal government sabotages deportations by distributing opportunities
05:39 | for residence rights and residency permits
05:42 | and by providing additional legal counsel at taxpayers’ expense to those required to leave.
05:48 | The perpetrator in Solingen was able to
05:51 | evade deportation to Bulgaria for months
05:55 | because a green minister is hindering deportations
05:59 | and a CDU prime minister lets her do it.
06:03 | For more than half of the year, taxpayers work
06:07 | for a state that lures illegal migrants into the country
06:11 | and robs citizens of the security it owes them.
06:15 | The victims of Solingen would still be alive
06:22 | and unharmed if those responsible acted according to the law.
06:27 | That means first and foremost not to let
06:30 | illegal migrants into the country in the first place,
06:34 | but to close the borders and to refuse entry to everyone
06:37 | who wants to enter Germany without a legal entitlement
06:41 | and without papers, not temporarily, but forever.
06:45 | That is, by the way, not an option; that is a legal obligation that you have.
06:49 | Article 16a of the Basic Law states clearly
06:52 | that immigrants from safe third countries do not have a claim to asylum.
06:57 | Paragraph 18 of the Asylum Act states that
07:00 | refusing entry to these illegals is not only permissible, but required.
07:05 | This regulation does not impose any European obligation.
07:13 | Can you please speak a little more quietly behind me there? [laughter]
07:17 | Yes, that’s disturbing, we don’t do that either. [laughter]
07:22 | Under European law, no… [noise from the audience]
07:28 | It’s the purest kindergarten with you.
07:31 | And the next election will come.
07:37 | I’ll start over for the third time, so that you’ll also know the laws.
07:44 | No European regulation overrides
07:49 | the fact that no sovereign state may be forced to tolerate
07:53 | immigration against its law and its will.
07:56 | And then there came a CDU chancellor.
07:59 | This chancellor wiped away this valid right nine years ago
08:05 | with the stroke of a pen and established a rule of injustice
08:11 | that is running Germany into the ground.
08:14 | That’s why everything the CDU tells you today,
08:18 | and that Mr. Merz will tell you later, is all rubbish.
08:22 | And, by the way, we see the “Realpolitik” of the CDU in Berlin.
08:25 | Here, in CDU-governed Berlin,
08:29 | the number of naturalizations is exploding.
08:32 | Hardly any claims for naturalization get rejected.
08:36 | 60% more naturalizations in Berlin in the first eight months of this year
08:42 | than in the entire previous year. That’s what CDU politics looks like.
08:48 | Mass migration and a political refusal to control migration have fatal consequences.
08:54 | We need a turnaround on migration, and immediately.
08:58 | Non-Germans grab a knife six times more often
09:02 | and commit seven times more sexual offenses than German citizens.
09:08 | This is how the head of the Federal Police Union,
09:11 | Roman, recently summarized the situation.
09:15 | Since 2017, according to data of the BKA,
09:21 | more than 52,000 women have been victims
09:25 | of sexual offenses by asylum seekers.
09:28 | The main countries of origin are Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq.
09:33 | The number of gang rapes rose to 761 last year,
09:38 | more than two of these gruesome crimes every day.
09:43 | Of the 209 gang rapes in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia,
09:47 | almost three quarters of the suspects are not German
09:51 | or have an obvious migration background.
09:54 | About two thirds of the suspects in gang crimes are not German.
09:59 | So what are you still waiting for? Deport these criminals at once!
10:06 | And only immediate, robust measures will help against exploding migrant crime.
10:12 | A strict moratorium on immigration,
10:15 | a stop to the intake and naturalization of all migrants for at least five years,
10:21 | and no naturalization of people who are in our welfare system.
10:25 | The closing of borders, rejection of all illegals without exception,
10:29 | immediate deportation of all illegals and criminals,
10:34 | elimination of all financial, legal, and welfare incentives,
10:38 | benefits in kind not cash, and finally the reform of the asylum law.
10:42 | That’s what a responsible, AfD-led government would do now.
10:51 | You all have actively promoted the migration-political state failure
10:55 | in recent years and decades.
10:59 | What’s more, you have knocked out the paths of reason
11:03 | and instead divided society.
11:06 | You have systematically defamed critics, compared them with vermin,
11:13 | and dehumanized them with the most evil fecal and Nazi terms,
11:18 | and set the secret service on them.
11:21 | Mr. Hofreiter of the Greens, with his demand to ban the platform X,
11:29 | exposed the ugly mug of the totalitarian mentality that controls them.
11:36 | And that also means you consider freedom of speech
11:42 | to be more dangerous than the limitless importation of murderers and terrorists.
11:47 | Instead of looking for the best solution in a fair fight,
11:51 | you rob the opposition of important parliamentary rights.
11:56 | To this day, you deny us our rightful positions
11:59 | in the Bundestag presidency, in decision-making bodies, on committees.
12:04 | With that, you are robbing millions of voters of their full parliamentary representation.
12:08 | You are the ones showing contempt for our democracy and rule of law.
12:15 | With specious manipulations, your comrades and colleagues
12:18 | in Saxony and Thuringia want to continue this voter fraud,
12:21 | and make use of any means to keep the force
12:24 | to which one-third of voters gave a very clear assignment
12:27 | out of government and deprived of their rights.
12:30 | Your democratic center, which you have constructed for this purpose,
12:33 | is as democratic as the middle D of the DDR [German Democratic Republic, East Germany].
12:37 | In the election campaign, the CDU writes off the AfD,
12:42 | but rejects all our proposals.
12:45 | Strange. And after the election, it falls in line with the left-wing united front.
12:49 | But that changes nothing in our resolve
12:53 | to put an end to this grotesqueness in the interest of our country.
12:58 | And that will be in the next election period at the latest,
13:01 | which hopefully will not only begin in one year.
13:05 | Because Germany can’t wait that long for reforms anymore,
13:10 | and our country can’t take it for that much longer.
13:15 | Whoever wants genuine change and reforms will vote for the Alternative for Germany (AfD).
13:21 | Thank you. | |
14:02 | Since the information about Mr. Habeck’s illness
14:06 | has probably not reached all the factions, I want to set the record straight again.
14:10 | Mr. Habeck is ill and cannot participate in today’s plenary session.
14:15 | Now Katharina Dröge for Alliance 90/The Greens has the floor. |
It’s worse of the worst did I excepted , it’s disaster!!, I just can’t understand German people his they allow to get to this point , it’s just blowing my mind, very sad , Alice for Bundeskanzlerin, last chance Germans !! Really last chance..
How on earth did all the Western governments go utterly mad in unison?
Not merely mad, but resolutely hostile…to their own peoples!
