The European Union Will Shut Your Mouth For You

The European Union is planning a new set of draconian speech restrictions to be imposed on all major social media platforms. The “pandemic” is simply the most obvious and most recent excuse for the crackdown. It’s obvious that the Powers That Be are determined to enforce their groupthink on all citizens.

Many thanks to Hellequin GB for translating this article from Uncut News. The translator’s comments are in square brackets:

The mother of all censorships is approaching. The digital law eliminates all opinions that contradict the system.

The Digital Services Act (DSA), an EU-level regulation, is practically the mother of all censorship. Under the guise of online platforms’ transparency and accountability, any opinion that goes against the system is eliminated. More specifically, the regulation obliges the platforms to mitigate risks such as misinformation or election rigging with the help of “trusted” bodies that will censor everything.

The turbulent times of the pandemic have highlighted the aggressive censorship practiced by the authorities, combined with social networks no longer shying away from eliminating voices, particularly those of professionals and medical luminaries, who disagree with the official narrative. During the pandemic there was virtually only one opinion, and those who dared to disagree were ostracized and publicly lynched. Censoring the opinions of people outside of the medical field wasn’t so destructive, but the fact that reputable and respected medical researchers became pariahs overnight simply for daring to point out the flaws in logic and the distortion of science itself is unthinkable.

EU leaders have consistently complained about low vaccination rates in some countries, including Romania, and pointed fingers at “conspiracy theories” circulating on social media. [Well, everybody who read the SPARS document from Johns Hopkins University knew straightaway what was coming.] Did they make a difference in our country? In part, because more important was the survival instinct of the population, who sensed something was wrong and chose to resist the pressure or, when they had no choice, to stick with the sham vaccine. In the meantime, all the “conspiracy theories” have come true, but public attention has been deliberately drawn to other crises. Eagerly preparing for the next pandemic, which will depend very much on who wins the battle between the two world orders, the European Union is now introducing an official act of total censorship.

General Surveillance

The Digital Services Act is a regulation that applies directly across the EU. Obligations imposed on very large online platforms and search engines include monitoring their risk management measures through independent audits. The platforms must also contain risks such as misinformation or election manipulation, cyber-violence against women or the endangerment of minors on the Internet. [I bet that the LGBT crap will be pushed and opposing voices will be silenced that way.] The law also provides for measures to combat illegal content online, including illegal goods and services. The DSA provides new mechanisms for users to report illegal content online and requires platforms to work with specialized “trusted whistleblowers” to identify and remove illegal content, as well as effective protections for users, including the ability to override platform decisions, challenge moderation of content, based on new mandatory information for users when their content is removed or restricted.

Pandemic response mechanism

The Digital Services Act also introduces a new crisis response mechanism in the event of serious public health threats and security crises, such as a pandemic or war. [And the first casualty will be TRUTH again.] “The DSA regulates the responsibilities of very large online platforms and very large online search engines when it comes to systemic problems such as misinformation, hoaxes and manipulations during pandemics, harm to vulnerable groups and other emerging societal harms,” says the EU law. At the same time, new regulations are being introduced to give researchers from the main platforms access to data to monitor how the platforms are performing and how online risks are evolving. The exact date will be determined by Brussels

Users will have new rights, including the right to complain to the platform, to seek an out-of-court settlement, to complain to the national authority in their own language or to claim damages for breaches of the rules, according to the DST. “Representative organizations will also be able to defend users’ rights in the event of widespread infringement. The European Commission is the main regulator for very large online platforms and very large online search engines, while other platforms and search engines are under the supervision of the member states in which they are established. The Commission will have enforcement powers similar to those in antitrust cases,” the Digital Services Act states. [Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?]

Afterword from the translator:

Welcome to the EUSSR! Your (un)friendly governmental goon-squad will soon rectify your differences of opinions.

I guess those people that lived under Soviet rule will have quite a déjà-vu moment all of a sudden when this “law” is installed. Well, I suppose we will have to stock up on ink, paper, empty bottles, helium and balloons if we want to continue to spread common sense and the truth, since every other “new” medium seems to be digitally iron-curtained out.

I take it that I will have to say it again: Evil is not some eternal essence on its own account, but merely a craft — a practice, a tool — designed like many others, by men, to advance their power over others. If we want to survive this and want a future for our children and grandchildren, we will have to begin to fight this war, which is been forced upon us, without any mercy or morality. If we do not set those aside, we will lose, and personal freedoms might never come back because of all the technological advances we can’t even fathom now, or at best they will be lost for countless generations to come. Some might say that to fight them on the same grounds will make us worse than them and we should refrain from diminishing ourselves that way. I’m sorry, but I do not subscribe to that philosophy. Only slaves subscribe to it.

  1. Imagine having to talk with or listen to people in person and read material printed on paper in order to get your information. It’s inconceivable.

    • People did it for thousands of years, written and later printed.
Although only those that could actually write and read, like the Priest and Scribe Class and they, the priests especially, made at that time sure of the “censoring” to keep hold of the monopoly of the truth.
And that went out of the windeo when Gutenberg introduced the Printing Press.
Why else do you think so many Printers ended up on their own funeral pyre afterwards?
The biggest problem we’re facing in this war is that THEY can use advanced technological “weaponry”, while we will have only the use of “Stone-age” tools.
That’s another reason we cannot fight them with hindering morals or even have the luxury of mercy.
They have shown over and over again that they themselves have none and show none towards those they attack to enslave or destroy.

  2. This is just yet another sorting of the idiots from those with more than a few brain cells to rub together.

If one is already skeptical of what globalists reptilians are doing to turn one’s self into a mushroom (kept in the dark and fed loads of Shi’ite) then this isn’t going to change things other than making it a little more challenging to find the truth. But for the vast majority of opiated fools yelling at sportsball on the telly, or seeking to be the queen thot on Instagram or vicariously following those who already are, this won’t change very much except to turn their soma ration up to eleven.

  3. The EU has banned RT News and France has banned Rumble.
I get around this using Swiss ProtonVPN and for Twitter tracking, ProtonMail. (Some EU VPN providers censor).
VPN can be made illegal but then I expect there will always be sources. I expect the Russian Federation will step up.

    • Ironic, how instead of Radio Free Europe broadcasting to those enslaved by the Soviets, the successors of the Soviets will be broadcasting the message of freedom to those enslaved by the successors to the capitalists.

  4. Pardon my ignorance but I don’t understand this. It talks about ‘social media’ platforms. What exactly do they deem social media platforms? GOV is not one so would it be affected? News organizations? Private blogs? It talks about ‘very large platforms’, what does that mean?
The EU has become a burden on the rights of citizens who are ignored by the higher ups. I wonder when it will become illegal to own/ sell printed material. Which contents cannot be changed in the blink of an eye at the whim of the elite.

  5. The Government in New Zealand has also released plans for a “Regulator” above and beyond the current Chief Censor and above the current Media monitors. Most media, although not the largest daily newspaper, which benefited hugely fro Covid Government advertising, have said they are opposed to the restriction in freedom of speech.

  6. It is a bit ironic that it was the printing press that one could argue led to the spreading of knowledge and freedom where thinking minds like Thomas Paine could publish their works for the benefit of the free thinking and society in general and yet the Federal Reserve (A Private Entity) constantly spinning printing presses are as we speak debasing the worlds reserve currency! And all the while the general populace of the planet for a large part are kept in ignorance of what is really going on. The EU handmaiden willingly aiding and abetting the deception hoping that no one starts to look at what supports their beloved Euro given the Flywheel of Europe (Germany) seems to be losing it’s inertia! As Sir Isaac Newton noticed gravity will always win! And as any pilot will tell you when the donkey stops you are only going one way and it ain’t upwards!

  7. Face it, the European Union is the Whore of Babylon.

Their building even looks like the Tower of Babylon.
