Gates of Vienna News Feed 6/5/2023

The private jet that crashed in the mountains of Southwest Virginia after causing F-16s to be scrambled over Washington D.C. was carrying the daughter and granddaughter of John Rumpel, a millionaire Florida businessman. Both family members, plus the child’s nanny and the plane’s pilot, are thought to have died in the crash. It’s possible that the plane’s cabin had depressurized, and that all on board were unconscious. Mr. Rumpel has been a donor to the Republican Party, and his wife is a member of the National Rifle Association.

In other news, Polish volunteers in the Ukrainian military claim they participated in recent actions across the border in the Belgorod region of Russia.

BIS Plans to Use AI to Monitor Global Bank Transactions

The Bank of International Settlements (BIS) is working on an AI system to monitor global transactions. It says it’s in an effort to combat money laundering.

The system, dubbed Project Aurora, will use machine learning to track financial transactions globally to flag patterns of money laundering. According to the BIS, the system can identify money laundering structures performed by money mules.

However, for the system to achieve its goal, governments and corporate banks will have to allow streamlined access and open their systems for the AI to monitor transactions. Some banks already use AI systems to flag unusual behavior. However, Project Aurora will require global access on a terrifying scale in terms of privacy.

Crypto Traders Suffer $320M Losses in Liquidations as SEC Lawsuit Against Binance Spurs Market Plunge

Cryptocurrency traders suffered some $320 million of losses in liquidations over the past 24 hours, data by CoinGlass showed, as crypto prices plummeted Monday after the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sued exchange giant Binance for allegedly violating securities laws.

Some $289 million of long positions — traders who bet on prices to rise — were wiped out during the day, marking the largest level of long liquidations in at least three months, per Coinglass.

Crypto markets nosedived Monday following the SEC suit accusing Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume, and its chief executive, Changpeng “CZ” Zhao, of offering unregistered securities, commingling user deposits and inflating trading volumes.

High Inflation Sees Purchasing Power of Czech Workers Decrease by 7% in a Year

Wages across the Czech Republic have decreased by 6.7 percent in real terms over the past 12 months, according to data published on Monday by the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ).

Despite the average gross salary increasing by 8.6 percent year-over-year in the first quarter of 2023, spiraling inflation in recent times has resulted in a decline in purchasing power for Czech citizens.

Inflation has slowed more than expected over the past two months. The country recorded an annual inflation rate of 12.7 percent in April, down from 15 percent in March, while analysts had forecast a rate of 13.3 percent for April.

Polish Inflation Will Reach Single Figures by September, Says Expert

Inflation in Poland is falling faster than was forecast and will continue to accelerate because of seasonal deflation caused by a fall in food prices, according to Ernest Pytlarczyk, chief economist at Bank Pekao.

Speaking to the Polish Press Agency (PAP), Pytlarczyk explained that just as increases in inflation tend to be underestimated in forecasts, the same applies to forecasts for drops in the inflation rate.

Inflation in the four largest EU countries, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, has also fallen by more than was forecast. In Poland, the last two inflation figures for April (14.7 percent) and May (13 percent) were markedly below those that economists had estimated.

Allstate Stops Offering New Home Insurance in California Due to Wildfires, Higher Costs for Home Repair

Allstate has joined other leading insurance companies in pausing its sales of new home insurance policies in California due to wildfires and higher costs of doing business in the state.

“The cost to insure new home customers in California is far higher than the price they would pay for policies due to wildfires, higher costs for repairing homes, and higher reinsurance premiums,” Allstate said in a statement to Fox News Digital.

The company said it stopped offering new home, condominium and commercial insurance policies in California last November but would continue to offer home insurance to current customers in California.

Another 52 Shot, 10 Murdered in Chicago This Weekend

Authored by Ted Dabrowski and John Klingner via Wirepoints.org

How long will Chicago’s Mayor Brandon Johnson stick with his “violence as a symptom of disinvestment” explanation that was widely criticized?

His comments came last weekend after 12 Chicagoans were murdered and 53 shot.

Memorial Day weekend was a big test for the new mayor, whose investment in yellow-vest “Peacekeepers” and anti-violence programs failed to stem the bloodshed.

That weekend was bad enough, but now he’s got another weekend of 10 murdered and 52 shot (as of 5pm Sunday).

Biden Argues Damage Caused by Censorship is Outweighed by “Taking Action to Promote the Public Interest”

Democratic values in the US — the way you knew them — are getting something of an “overhaul” official definition-wise. It all revolves around what’s now known and widely accepted as sufficiently documented Big Tech-government collusion.

The injuries caused by its censorship are “far outweighed by the government’s interest in speaking and taking action to promote the public interest,” — that’s how the Biden administration digests its policy, and spits it out for the willing world to digest.

‘Deadly Consequences’ of Los Angeles DA Gascon’s ‘Soft-on-Crime’ Approach Felt After Murder Suspect Released

Los Angeles Deputy District Attorney Shea Sanna joined “Sunday Night in America” host Trey Gowdy to discuss the “deadly consequences” of Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon’s “soft-on-crime” approach to criminal justice.

Gowdy highlighted the case of Stefan Sutherland, an attempted murder suspect who was arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department in November 2020. Gascon’s office recommended sending him to a mental health diversion program instead of prison for the alleged stabbing. Sutherland was arrested again in May 2023 in connection to the murder of his neighbor.

“Yet another murder committed by someone who should have been in prison, and George Gascon’s reaction is to blame everyone but himself,” Gowdy said.

GOP Donor’s Family Killed in Private Jet Crash After Military Scrambled F16s

Update (1615ET):

The private jet that crashed in Northern Virginia after breaching restricted airspace in Washington, D.C., carried a Republican donor’s family members.

John Rumpel, who runs Encore Motors of Melbourne, a Florida-based company that owns the Cessna 560 Citation V, told The New York Times in an interview Monday that his daughter, Adina Azarian, his 2-year-old granddaughter, her nanny, and the pilot perished on Sunday when the plane crashed “almost straight down and at high speed.”

Rumpel,75, had said his family members were returning home to East Hampton, New York, after a visit to his home in North Carolina.

He said if the plane lost pressurization, “they all just would have gone to sleep and never woke up.”

According to the Open Secrets website, the millionaire and his wife, Barbara, have been frequent donors to Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and Georgia Senate candidate Herschel Walker. The website also said his wife is a National Rifle Association of America Women’s Leadership Forum member.

Huge: Postal Service Releases Final Report — Contract Driver Jesse Morgan Vindicated — Report Confirms He Hauled Trailer of Ballots From NY to PA in Late October 2020

As The Gateway Pundit reported in 2020, election fraud whistleblowers came forward in December following the controversial election, including one who witnessed the shipping of an estimated 144,000-288,000 completed ballots across three state lines on October 21.

The new information was made public at a press conference by the Amistad Project of the Thomas More Society, a national constitutional litigation organization.

The Amistad Project said that they have sworn declarations that state over 300,000 ballots are at issue in Arizona, 548,000 in Michigan, 204,000 in Georgia, and over 121,000 in Pennsylvania.

They claim that their evidence reveals multi-state illegal efforts by USPS workers to influence the election in at least three of six swing states.

The whistleblower statements include potentially hundreds of thousands of completed absentee ballots being transported across three state lines, and a trailer filled with ballots disappearing in Pennsylvania.

Attorney Phil Kline said, “130,000 to 280,000 completed ballots for the 2020 general election were shipped from Bethpage, NY, to Lancaster, PA, where those ballots and the trailer in which they were shipped disappeared.”

Instagram Reinstates Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Claims Ban on Campaign Account Was a Mistake

Facebook-owned Instagram announced that it has lifted its suspension against the personal account of Democrat presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. after previously being suspended over supposed misinformation about the coronavirus and vaccines.

Master of the Universe Big Tech behemoth Meta announced on Sunday that the personal Instagram account for Robert F. Kennedy Jr has been reinstated after being blocked from the social media platform in 2021 for “repeatedly sharing debunked claims about the coronavirus or vaccines,” according to Meta.

The announcement of lifting the suspension comes just days after Kennedy reported that Instagram had blocked his team from setting up a presidential campaign account on the platform, which seemingly contradicts the company policy of allowing users to engage with politicians.

‘Lockdowns Were a Costly Failure’: New Meta Analysis

Pandemic-era lockdown policies may “represent the biggest policy mistake in modern times.” At least, that’s the conclusion reached by one of the authors of a major new study examining many government restrictions inflicted upon the public throughout 2020 and 2021.

An updated, peer-reviewed meta analysis of lockdowns examining 22 relevant studies was just published by the Institute of Economic Affairs. In it, authors Lars Jonung, Jonas Herby, and Steve H. Hanke examined the lockdown policies enacted in the US, England, and Europe and compared them to the light-touch approach enacted in Sweden where minor government restrictions were paired with voluntary action driven by extensive public information and awareness campaigns.

They find that in the US, extensive restrictions ranging from stay-at-home orders to business closures all combined to only save approximately 4,000 lives. Some particular policies, like gathering limits, actually increased COVID mortality. (As it turns out, much of the COVID-19 spread occurred at home). This is a far cry from the projections used early in the pandemic to justify lockdowns that estimated 2 million American lives would be saved.

Of course, 4,000 lives saved is nothing to sneeze at. Each and every one of those lives has tremendous value. But you have to compare that relatively minor figure, in the scheme of the pandemic, with the tremendous costs, disruption, and lethal consequences that lockdowns had for the rest of society: surging drug overdoses, a youth mental health crisis, mass unemployment, huge increases in global poverty, an uptick in domestic violence, and so much more.

Long Island-Bound Private Jet Crashes in Virginia After Mid-Air Scare; No Survivors Found

A private jet headed for Long Island crashed into Virginia woods after creating a scare in Washington, D.C., according to officials, and so far no survivors have been found.

The Cessna Citation jet took off from Elizabethton Municipal Airport in Tennessee on Sunday and was headed to MacArthur Airport in Ronkonkoma, but the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said it lost contact with the plane around 2:40 p.m.

The plane had reached central Long Island when it turned around, began flying on a southwest path and did not respond to air traffic control, sources told NBC Washington.

The Cessna flew directly over northwest D.C. and through Virginia at about 3:30 p.m. A defense official told NBC News that NORAD F-16s scrambled, began shadowing the plane and saw the pilot onboard was incapacitated. The pilot did not respond to radio calls.

The FAA said the Cessna later “crashed into mountainous terrain in a sparsely populated area of southwest Virginia” after it had dropped off radar and created a sonic boom in the area near the nation’s capital, with video on social media showing how the sound and shockwave startled people from Baltimore to Fredericksburg, Virginia. The fighter jets did not cause the plane to go down, the defense official added.

“The pilot was unresponsive, and the Cessna subsequently crashed near the George Washington National Forest, Virginia,” the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said in a statement. “NORAD attempted to establish contact with the pilot until the aircraft crashed.”

The plane’s owner told NBC News that four people were on board. Thus far, state police say they have not found any survivors.

Oversight Chair Comer to Hold FBI Director Wray in Contempt of Congress Over Biden Doc Alleging Crime Scheme

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer said Monday he will begin the process of holding FBI Director Christopher Wray in contempt of Congress, despite viewing and being briefed by bureau officials on the subpoenaed document that alleges President Joe Biden was involved in a criminal bribery scheme.

The FBI brought the document in question — an FBI-generated FD-1023 form that allegedly describes a $5 million criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions — to Capitol Hill on Monday for Comer, R-Ky., and ranking member Jamie Raskin, D-Md., to review in a secure SCIF (sensitive compartmented information facility), resulting from a back-and-forth between committee Republicans and the bureau over whether it was in compliance of his subpoena.

The FBI initially offered to allow Comer to review the document at FBI headquarters, but amid Comer’s threats to hold Wray in contempt of Congress, the bureau offered additional accommodations to bring the physical document to Capitol Hill.

Rumble CEO Attacks Twitter Community Notes as a ‘Really Bad Idea,’ ‘A Fancy Word for Fact Checking’

Twitter Community Notes are a “really bad idea” and “just a fancy word for fact checking” according to a recent tweet by Rumble CEO Chris Pavlovksi on Saturday.

The new Twitter feature allows, according to the website, a crowdsourced series of users to “create a better informed world by empowering people on Twitter to collaboratively add context to potentially misleading Tweets.” While the feature has gotten positive feedback from many users, Pavlovski pushed back against them, claiming they will inevitably do more harm than good.

“Community notes on Twitter is a really bad idea. It’s a fancy word for fact checking, which will eventually be gamed, hijacked and/or cause more harm than good. I’ve seen this story too often and I won’t let it happen on Rumble,” Pavlovski tweeted.

Stanford University is Pressured Over Failure to Provide Documents on Its Online Censorship Project

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the chair of the House Judiciary Committee, is on Stanford University’s case for its refusal to provide documents about its involvement in censorship. The Stanford Internet Observatory (SIO) ran two programs that flagged online “misinformation;” the Virality Project (VP) and the Election Integrity Partnership (EIP).

In a letter sent last week, addressed to Stanford’s legal team, Jordan said that the university provided insufficient documents in response to a subpoena sent in April requesting documents related to the SIO’s involvement in the censorship of “disfavored speech.”

Jordan gave the university until June 14 or else the committee will “be forced to consider the use of one or more enforcement mechanisms.”

The SIO’s involvement in the censorship was exposed in the Twitter Files, which were published by journalist Michael Shellenberger.

Suspected Lightning Strike Causes Devastating Fire at Historic Church in Spencer

SPENCER, Mass. — A historic church in Spencer was destroyed in a massive fire Friday afternoon, sending smoke and flames billowing into the air.

The Spencer Fire Department responded to the First Congressional Church on Main Street around 3 p.m. for a report of a fire in the steeple.

Investigators believe lightning struck the church first established in 1753.

The smoke could be seen from the surrounding towns.

Rev. Bruce MacLeod, Interim Pastor at First Congregational Church of Spencer, said the building is all wood and goes back to the 1800’s, which is why it burned so fast.

No one was inside when it started.

Neighbors could only watch as the steeple of the church came tumbling down.

US, Canada, and France Express Full Support for WHO Pandemic Treaty

Since the start of the Covid pandemic, powerful institutions have been using it as an opportunity to usher in more surveillance and speech control.

One of these institutions, the WHO, an unelected global health agency, has spent more than a year pushing to expand its powers via two instruments — a pandemic treaty/accord and amendments to the International Health Regulations (2005). These instruments will collectively give the WHO, an unelected health agency, new powers to target “misinformation,” grow its surveillance tools, and push a framework for global vaccine passports.

Vigilante Justice Rises in Haiti and Crime Plummets

The 14 presumed gang members under arrest were arriving at a police station in Haiti’s capital, when a group of people overpowered the police, rounded up the suspects outside and used gasoline to burn them alive.

The gruesome executions on April 24 marked the start of a brutal vigilante campaign to reclaim the streets of the capital, Port-au-Prince, from gangs that have inflicted terror on Haitians for nearly two years.

In a nation wracked by extreme poverty and violence, civilians have taken up arms and killed at least 160 people believed to be gang members in the six weeks since a citizens “self-defense” movement known as “bwa kale” kicked off its vigilantism with the brazen police station attack, according to data gathered in a new report by a prominent Haitian human rights group.

The result: a sharp drop in kidnappings and killings attributed to gangs in neighborhoods where people told The New York Times they had been afraid to leave their homes.

“Before the 24th, every day someone passed by and demanded that I give him money because of my little business,” said Marie, 62, who sells shoes on the streets of Port-au-Prince. The Times is withholding her full name and those of other residents quoted in this article for their safety.

“When I had no money, they took whatever they wanted from my table, and this happened at any time of the day,” she said.

But two weeks ago, members of the “bwa kale” — crude slang for erection — burned a man believed to be a gang member alive in front of her shoe stall.

Though she sees the revenge movement as “God beginning to make things right,” Marie has misgivings.

“I support vigilance groups, but I don’t like the way they do it,” she said. “He could have been punished in another way. He could have been arrested and put in jail.”

YouTube Deletes Years-Old Mike Tyson Interview With RFK Jr.

In another censorship move, YouTube has deleted several high-profile interviews with US Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Among the videos removed from the platform was an hour-and-a-half-long podcast featuring Kennedy in conversation with boxing legend Mike Tyson, as noticed by video journalist Matt Orfalea. This takedown occurred just ten days ago, following the disappearance of another RFK Jr. interview — this time with comedian Theo Von — from the video-sharing platform.

The two deleted interviews, both dating back to 2020, had garnered significant popularity among YouTube’s vast user base. The interview conducted by Von had received almost a quarter of a million views, while Tyson’s podcast with Kennedy had been viewed almost half a million times. This popularity underscores the wide reach these videos had and the potential impact of their removal.

EU Calls for More Social Media Fact Checking

The European Commission asked big tech companies to ramp up fact-checking across the EU—especially in Central Europe—and to introduce identifying systems that would label AI-generated text and images in a bid to fight disinformation, Commission Vice President Vera Jourova revealed at a press conference on Monday, June 5th.

Earlier that day, the vice president for values and transparency, along with Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton, met with the representatives of 44 companies and organizations—including Microsoft, Google, Meta, TikTok, and Twitch—that have signed up for the EU’s Code of Practice on Disinformation, a set of voluntary commitments to cooperate with Brussels in its effort to tackle harmful content on social media. Only Twitter was missing, as the company withdrew from the Code late last month.

EU Council Quietly Ratified Istanbul Convention

The EU Council has approved the bloc’s accession to the Istanbul Convention on violence against women.

The Council very quietly gave its approval at its June 1st meeting of transportation and energy ministers.

The Convention, with the full name of ‘Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence Against Women and Domestic Violence’, aims for no less than the elimination of violence against women.

An apparently straightforward issue has been mired in debate for years.

In every member state of the EU, violence against women—from rape on the street to abuse in the home—is a punishable criminal offense, and the elimination of violence against females is an aspirational goal. Nevertheless, though proposed by the Council of Europe and open for signatures since 2011, six EU member states have not yet ratified the Convention—Latvia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic have to date withheld their support. Some member states found it unacceptable: the Bulgarian constitutional court found the treaty unconstitutional, and in Slovakia, the Convention was rejected by the National Council. Though Poland has ratified the treaty, the current government has spoken of withdrawing.

The controversy is twofold, rooted in both gender ideology and EU overreach.

Police Omitted Folder Called ‘CIA’ From the Computer of Spaniard Who Allegedly Spied on Julian Assange

David Morales — the owner of the Spanish security company that spied on Julian Assange during his prolonged stay at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London — kept the work he did for the CIA on his laptop. It was all marked under the initials of the U.S. intelligence agency, according to a new examination of his MacBook, to which EL PAIS has had access. The word “CIA” appears several times on a Western Digital-branded external hard drive, on which Morales kept the projects and operations that his company — UC Global, S.L. — was contracted to deliver.

Morales’ personal files, which were previously unknown to investigators, builds on the allegations and evidence that Morales — a former Spanish soldier — spied on the meetings that the WikiLeaks founder and his lawyers held at the Embassy of Ecuador to the United Kingdom, and sent that information to the U.S. intelligence agency. These files were stored on a number of folders marked with the terms “CIA,” “Embassy” and “Videos,” along with other labels.

Why Some Brits Will be Given Free Money as Universal Basic Income is Trialled in UK

For the first time ever, a trial of Universal Basic Income (UBI) is being launched in England, while a pilot scheme is already underway in Wales.

Both trials will last for two years in total, and for that period of time, the people involved are getting £1,600 each and every month with no strings attached.

The payments are intended to provide a reasonably safe and secure financial floor to people so, no matter what happens, they always have some money coming in to cover the basics.

It’s not means tested, however, so in theory everyone would get the payments regardless of financial situation.

The payments go to individuals rather than households, with the income getting paid into people’s bank accounts as actual money they can spend on anything, rather than vouchers.

The English scheme will give UBI to 30 people in the town of Jarrow and the North London area of East Finchley. In Wales, over 500 people leaving the care system are receiving the payments as part of the support for transition into adult life.

Researchers are following the participants to measure how the money is affecting their lives, and the English test will also follow a control group of people who won’t receive the money to see what changes occur.

Nazi Symbols on Ukraine’s Front Lines Highlight Thorny Issues of History

KYIV, Ukraine — Since Russia began its invasion of Ukraine last year, the Ukrainian government and NATO allies have posted, then quietly deleted, three seemingly innocuous photographs from their social media feeds: a soldier standing in a group, another resting in a trench and an emergency worker posing in front of a truck.

In each photograph, Ukrainians in uniform wore patches featuring symbols that were made notorious by Nazi Germany and have since become part of the iconography of far-right hate groups.

The photographs, and their deletions, highlight the Ukrainian military’s complicated relationship with Nazi imagery, a relationship forged under both Soviet and German occupation during World War II.

UK: Immigration Promises Were a Lie and it Won’t be Going Down, Political Establishment Tells BBC

Five former UK government ministers have explained to the state broadcaster why despite over a decade of promises immigration has only ever gone up, with the answer boiling down to tell the public one thing, do another.

The UK Conservative Party tells voters that it will cut immigration — sometimes quite considerably — because that is what voters want to hear. Meanwhile, it sticks to the real plan of growing the number of new arrivals to satisfy the Treasury, whose only goal is to see GDP growth, even if that means flooding the country with new people.

Father James Martin: Gay Pride Compatible With Sacred Heart of Jesus

Jesuit Father James Martin said this weekend celebrating Gay Pride is compatible with devotion to the Sacred Heart because both teach us about the love of Jesus.

“In June, Catholics celebrate the Month of the Sacred Heart,” Father Martin writes on Twitter. “LGBTQ people celebrate #PrideMonth. LGBTQ Catholics celebrate both. One shows us how Jesus loves. The other shows us whom Jesus calls us to love today.”

Fights Erupt as California Parents Protest Pride Event at Elementary School: ‘They’re Too Young’

A California father is boycotting his daughters’ school, saying he is “fed up” with school officials after they reportedly ignored parents’ concerns about a Pride event.

Protests erupted in North Hollywood on Friday as angry parents collided with counter-protesters outside Saticoy Elementary School, the same day of the planned assembly that spurred a community uproar.

Father of four Manuk Grigoryan was one of the parents who took to the streets with other parents to protest the school, and he said he is refusing to send his children back until he can speak directly with school officials.

Latinos Can be White Supremacists or Oppressed Minorities. Not Both

by Daniel Greenfield

Forget George Zimmerman, Latino white supremacy is having its moment now.

“Latinos Can Be White Supremacists,” The Atlantic asserts. The New York Times traces, “The Long and Violent History of Anti-Black Racism in the Latino Community”, Slate delves into, “The Roots of Latino White Supremacy” and The New Yorker profiles, “The Rise of Latino White Supremacy”.

None of these articles mention Jose Vasconcelos, the ‘Mexican’ politician and thinker who created the term La Raza Cosmica, giving us the La Raza movement, and who propagandized for Nazi Germany. Much like the KKK roots of the Democrats, it would be politically inconvenient to note that the party staked its bet on the racial nationalism of Latino and black movements to take over America. But that’s what identity politics is under its thin disguise of fighting racism.

If Mauricio Garcia, the Texas mall shooter whose rampage set off a corresponding media rampage about the threat of Latino white supremacy, did indeed have Swastika and SS tattoos, there would be nothing extraordinary about that. From Vasconcelos to Eva Peron, the subject of a Hollywood movie and musical, plenty of Latino political figures were Nazi collaborators. There was no contradiction in that. Latinos are southern europeans immigrants and there was no reason not to consider them members of the Aryan race. Or to consider them oppressed.

The Left wants to opportunistically reimagine Latinos as both white supremacists and oppressed minorities. This is the same intersectional trick it’s trying to pull with feminism, treating women as oppressed when dealing with men, but as oppressors when it comes to men in dresses. Gay men are victims outside the LGBT movement, but oppressors inside it. This hierarchical victimocracy is at the core of intersectionality which treats everyone as victim and victimizer…

MSU Hit With Civil Rights Complaint Alleging School’s Business Boot Camp Discriminated Against White Males

A government watchdog organization on Friday filed a civil rights complaint against Missouri State University, alleging that the school’s business boot camp program illegally discriminated against white males.

The Equal Protection Project (EPP) said it was bringing the civil rights complaint against MSU for “engaging in racial— and gender-based discrimination through its sponsorship, promotion, and hosting of a small business training ‘boot camp’ that limited participation to individuals who identify as ‘BIOPOC’ … or are female. White males, and white males alone, were excluded from eligibility.”

“BIPOC” is an acronym for “Black, Indigenous and Persons of Color.”

Target Shares Plunge 2% as Market Cap Down Over $13 Billion Amid Pride Backlash

Target shareholders continue to bear the brunt of the big-box retailer’s Pride merchandising controversy, as the company fell another 2.03% on Monday.

Since the backlash, Target’s market value has fallen over $13 billion to $60.24 billion as of Monday’s closing price. Target’s market value was over $74 billion before the polarizing Pride displays made national news. Target initially irked conservatives with over-the-top Pride displays that featured a plethora of children’s items, but outraged the LGBTQ community when the displays were dialed back ahead of Pride month.

Target Backs Org Pushing US Demilitarization, Mt. Rushmore Shutdown for Being a ‘Symbol of White Supremacy’

Fox News Investigates — Since the George Floyd protests and riots of 2020, Target Corporation said it ramped up its diversity, equity and inclusion work. This agenda extended far beyond enhancing representation and support of historically marginalized groups externally and in its stores, and dipped into funding organizations with far-left and blatantly political agendas.

Target’s “accelerated” its DEI program in response to Black Lives Matter activism under the leadership of its diversity chief — Kiera Fernandez. The chief has demanded that “White women” get to work to combat the proclaimed systemic racism in America.

Fox News Digital found that Target, via its nonprofit foundation, which has been directed by the retail giant’s senior corporate treasurers, funded a grantee pushing to shut down and give away U.S. sovereign land such as Mount Rushmore — believing it to be an “international symbol of White supremacy” and to demilitarize the “violent” U.S. military. The same grantee also supports the destruction of Israel’s Jewish character through what is called the Palestinian “Law of Return” and implementing economic warfare tactics against the Jewish State, such as boycotts and sanctions, to “Free Palestine.”

UN Treaty to Reduce Plastic Pollution

The UN Environment Program (UNEP) is hosting talks involving 145 countries with a view to producing a treaty by 2025 with the aim of reducing plastic pollution and reducing 80% of plastic waste by 2040. In this context, it has been reported that some countries, including the U.S., Saudi Arabia, China, and India, are pushing for less ambitious targets than others.

In contrast, 55 participating nations have banded together into the High Ambition Coalition to End Plastic Coalition. Its co-chair, Jeanne d’Arc Mujawamariya, who is also the Minister for the Environment of one member of this group, Rwanda, expressed its objective in terms of “a responsibility to protect human health in our environment from the most harmful polymers and chemicals of concern through the treaty.”

    • “It’s like a Kafka novel where you wake up and the two year-olds’ve become the mommies…and they’re all authoritarian commies. But it’s not a novel, it’s not a mistake…it’s real, it’s the plan…it’s PAA’s “remaking America”…it’s Obamerica.” —Me (June 2020)

  1. UN is supposed to be neutral in order to keep peace. Today UN and EU both are instruments helping islam to dominate the world.

Jews were hated and kicked out of Europe and muslim countries. Before 1948 there were 400 000 Jews in Baghdad. Muslims in Cairo, Baghdad, Damascus, … etc. could not stand them. They forced the Jews to go to Israel. Now they can’t tolerate that too.

    https://www.jihadwatch.org/2023/06/remember-the-farhud

Click on the photo. It show Jews besieged in Baghdad and muslims waiting outside with swords and knife to massacre them. A scene common for 1450 years.
Western infidels never wonder why Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Iran, … etc. have 2% Christian and No Jews when they were 100% Christians and Jews before the Pirate’s invasions?

Why should western infidels ask that question if they are itching to surrender what is left of their nations to islam?

Why has everything gone woke these days?

Here is BlackRock CEO Larry Fink along with the CEO of AmEx explaining his desire to “force behaviors” (2017):

    https://twitter.com/i/status/1665414711188287489

I’d recommend to anyone unfamiliar with BlackRock to do a deep dive into who they are and what they’re involved in. Things may start making sense that were unclear before.

    Same agenda as the WEF.

    World control and population reduction.

When they say “sustainability” they mean preserving the earth’s resources for an elite few.

Do people flying around in private jets then taking limos care about the environment or diversity?? Nope.

      It’s no longer grandpa’s capitalism

      By Lars Hedegaard /snaphanen.dk

I know I’ve written about this before, but I keep coming back to one of the most significant changes of the last two hundred years, namely that capitalism is no longer unconditionally driven by the profit motive, but that the actions of capitalists are increasingly dictated by politics and ideology. Even at the expense of profits.

Alternatively, the most lucrative investments depend on political decisions and profitability is not guaranteed by the free market, but by the regulations and prohibitions of the Deep State.

In the US, beer giant Anheuser-Busch and retail chain Target have seen sharp declines in revenue and stock value after they switched to advertising “Pride”, transgenderism and jumpsuits with room for pee-pee for baby girls – sorry: baby people.

These and other like-minded companies must have known that their move to the extreme woke would provoke negative reactions from a significant portion of their customers, but something else has been more important to them. And you can understand what that is by studying a report released by the American Accountability Foundation in 2022.

It shows that the so-called “big three” investment firms on Wall Street – BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street – are controlled by left-wing activists. The money is not their own, but belongs to, among others, institutional investors such as pension funds, whose investments they manage.

Together, these companies wield a power that many governments must envy, and they use this power to, among other things, force other companies to comply with the “climate requirements” that all CO2 emissions must cease by 2050.

As the report emphasizes, the Big Three are closely connected to the inner circle of the Democratic Party, so it’s hard to see where one begins and the other ends. But it’s understandable, because they ultimately have the same goals – a revolution that will give them total control over citizens.

Few companies dare to defy such a concentration of power when ordered to promote the latest perverse whim of the rabid left.

Once upon a time, climate hysterics could be dismissed as upper-class onions with nothing better to do than run around blocking traffic and destroying works of art. But after the left-wing fanatics seized political power, it has become big business to put your money on projects ordered by the state. It’s almost impossible to lose money when the Deep State is ready to compensate for any loss.

The point is that recently, capital and the state have merged in such a way that one is barely distinguishable from the other.

One of the methods to get naughty capitalists to dance to the socialists’ tune is the invention of ‘ESG’, which stands for ‘Environmental Social Governance’. It can be characterized as a kind of report card that rewards companies that agitate for the far-left ideology and agenda. By all means, they must prove that gender is a social construct – not something innate. And if they beat the drum for the claim of the imminent end of the world and the joy of surgically removing children’s breasts and penises, they get ESG points, which leads to special treatment when the capitalist giants invest their money.

In its 2020 annual report, BlackRock boasted that it had identified 244 companies that had made “insufficient progress in integrating climate risk into their business model”.

That should bring those 244 into line.

The ultimate goal of the state-capitalist conglomerate is to eliminate any obstacle to their totalitarian tyranny.

Strange! The left started out fighting for the common man against capitalist exploitation. It has now merged with its former opponent.

And that’s undeniably a big story.

      • Perhaps the Soviets weren’t completely wrong after all.

Leftists find this kind of ordure useful for tearing apart societies and using the resulting chaos to put themselves into power. However, once they’ve taken power such as in the USSR and 1930’s era Germany, those elements that are far outside the normal patterns of sexuality and traditional values are quickly exterminated as their usefulness comes to an end.

If I had to guess, even communists and socialists, while they might advocate for this garbage to subvert university students and society, don’t want it anywhere around their own families or children. Fink, Soros, Gates, Schwab, and others in their circle might occasionally bugger a prepubescent boy because thats what evil globalists hanging out together on their own private islands do to renew vows of evilness, but probably prefer to be fellated by actual heterosexual females in their normal day-to-day existence. Notably they are not allowing these perverts into their families and inner circles.

And this bodes poorly for those deluded, sick perverts who think they’re ruling the roost as they uncomprehensively stand in a pile of their own effluent outside the knacker’s, braying at the top of their lungs like the ignorant jackasses they are as the butcher inside sharpens his knife.

  4. A migrant from Uzbekistan drowned in a vat of beer in the Moscow region

The desire to try fresh beer played a cruel joke on a 47-year-old migrant from Uzbekistan – he fell into a fermentation vat and died.
The sad incident happened on June 3 in a private brewery in Ramenskoye, the owner of which hired a worker to clean the area. The latter took advantage of the absence of his superiors and went to taste the products, but only yeast flowed from the tap, which he opened.

The man turned out to be persistent: he climbed the stairs and opened the hatch, into which he eventually fell. According to the preliminary version, he lost consciousness, inhaling carbon dioxide, and plunged headlong into the liquid.

    • Sounds like a scene out of BeerFest!

Brenda O’Malley is home making dinner, as usual, when Tim Finnegan arrives at her door.
“Brenda, may I come in?” he asks. “I’ve somethin’ to tell ya”.
“Of course you can come in, you’re always welcome, Tim. But where’s my husband?”
“That’s what I’m here to be telling ya, Brenda. There was an accident down at the Guinness brewery”
“Oh, God no!” cries Brenda. “Please don’t tell me.”
“I must, Brenda. Your husband Shamus is dead and gone. I’m sorry.
      Finally, she looked up at Tim. “How did it happen, Tim?”;
“It was terrible, Brenda. He fell into a vat of Guinness Stout, and
      drowned.”
“Oh my dear Jesus! But you must tell me true, Tim, did he at least go quickly?”
“Well, Brenda, no. In fact, he got out three times to pee.”
