Breaking: DeSantis Touts Record on Education, Anti-Wokeness in Iowa Campaign Speech

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis made his first official campaign stop in Iowa on Tuesday night in front of a jubilant crowd. In his speech, DeSantis hit all key talking points for domestic policy, from his patented “anti-wokeness,” to energy independence, law and order, and the need to close the border to illegal immigrants. DeSantis announced his campaign on Twitter a week ago.

DeSantis did not address the greatest international crisis, the war in Ukraine and the massive outlay of funds, supplies and resources that have gone from the US to aid that nation’s fight against Russia.

Cause of Death Revealed for Florida Teacher Amanda Hicks, Who Was Killed in Murder-Suicide

The beloved Florida middle school teacher whose body was found next to her screaming infant was stabbed to death at the hands of her fiancé, police confirmed Tuesday.

The unnamed man killed Amanda Hicks, 26, inside their Port St. Lucie apartment early Saturday morning before using a gun to take his own life, investigators told WPTV.

The fiancé had reportedly tried to call a family member around midnight — an hour before neighbors heard “a very loud, screechy scream” and the sound of a single gunshot was caught on nearby video surveillance.

The family member tried returning the call in the morning before asking police to conduct a welfare check.

That’s when cops heard Hicks’ 10-month-old baby crying inside the locked apartment, just feet away from the two bodies.

The baby, Alani, was found unharmed in her crib 11 hours after the murder and is with a family member.

One killing even happened close to Mayor Brandon Johnson’s own residence. Going back to Friday evening, “at least 11 people had been killed and another 46 wounded since early Friday evening” resulting in a death toll that was the “highest since 2015, when 12 people were killed,” according to the report. This marks 57 total casualties across the city from either shootings or knifings.

Giant Grocery Chain Fighting to Keep Stores Open as Theft, Violence Has ‘Increased Exponentially: ‘ Report

One grocery chain is fighting to keep stores open despite rampant shoplifting and an uptick in violence that is forcing many retailers to leave major cities across the country.

Giant Food, which operates 165 supermarkets in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia and Delaware, has taken measures to combat theft and keep stores safe, according to a report in the Washington Post. The steps include limiting store entrances, hiring security guards, restricting the number of items at self-checkout stands, putting fewer high-value items on shelves and securing razor blades in containers that make noise if opened.

Company President Ira Kress said he’s seen theft rise at least “tenfold in the last five years” and violence increase “exponentially.”

McCarthy-Biden Debt Ceiling Deal Passes Big Procedural Hurdle in House

The debt ceiling deal struck by President Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., passed a critical hurdle Tuesday night that should allow House lawmakers to vote on the agreement Wednesday evening.

The House Rules Committee approved the terms of debate for the legislation by implementing that agreement in an 7-6 vote Tuesday evening. A successful vote wasn’t a sure thing, as three Republican members of the committee had indicated either opposition or possible opposition to the agreement.

Republicans hold a 9-4 advantage in the Rules Committee, which means if three Republicans voted against it along with every Democrat, the bill cementing the Biden-McCarthy deal could not have been considered on the House floor.

News Corp CEO Says Political Prejudices at Advertising Agencies Affect Demonetization of Some News Outlets

CEO of global media organization News Corp, Robert Thomson, said that he had discovered that staff at advertising agencies were allowing personal “political prejudices” to guide their work. He made the remarks at the International News Media Association (INMA) World Congress of News Media in New York.

“I asked the chief executive of one of the world largest companies why he had an ad ban against the New York Post … (with around 158 million monthly uniques),” he said, according to The Australian.

“The chief exec said he was completely unaware of any such ban — so he checked, and to his genuine and annoyed surprise, a hyper-politicized agency flunkey had a Post prohibition.

“The medium may be the message but unless we are more assertive and there is more transparency, certain advertising agencies will indulge their worst instincts, ad nauseam.”

Three Years Later, No Justice for BLM Insurrection in D.C.

Authored by Julie Kelly via American Greatness

D.C.’s lead prosecutor has turned a blind eye to a six-month campaign of terror in the nation’s capital in 2020 so he could keep his sights on the mostly nonviolent protesters of January 6, 2021…

“Our office prosecutes all acts of violence, regardless of political motivation, the same.”

So said U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Matthew Graves—under oath, mind you, and with a straight face — during a hearing of the House Oversight Committee earlier this month.

Representative Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.) questioned Graves’ disparate treatment of Black Lives Matters rioters who terrorized Washington, D.C., in 2020 versus Trump supporters involved in the events of January 6, 2021.

Although the start of both incidents was a mere seven months apart, they are a world away in terms of accountability.

Alberta Elects Anti-Lockdown Conservative UCP Party, Rejecting Pro-Lockdown Socialist NDP Party

On Monday, Albertans took to the polls, deciding whether to embrace the anti-lockdown, pro-freedom policies of Danielle Smith and the United Conservative Party, or the pro-lockdown, socialist agenda of the New Democratic Party under Rachel Notley. In the end, they chose the former, giving the UCP another term in power.

Though the UCP won 14 fewer seats under Smith than it did with Jason Kenney at the helm, it still came out this time around with 49 to the NDP’s 38, giving them a majority government.

In her victory speech, Smith vowed to fight for the interests of all Albertans.

“To paraphrase our dear friend Ralph Klein, welcome to another miracle on the prairies!” she proclaimed, garnering jubilation from the crowd of supporters. “Today Albertans chose to move our province forward by electing a strong, stable, UCP majority government!”

Climate Battle Looms as Smith Wins Alberta Election and Targets Trudeau

May 30 (Reuters) — Alberta’s election of conservative leader Danielle Smith puts her on a collision course with Canada’s Liberal Prime Minister Justin Trudeau over climate policies that she claims will undermine the province’s massive fossil fuel industry.

Smith, leader of the United Conservative Party (UCP), defeated left-leaning New Democratic Rachel Notley on Monday, and immediately targeted Trudeau, threatening the country’s ambitious climate goals. Read more

In her victory speech in front of cheering supporters in Canada’s oil capital Calgary, Smith called on Albertans to stand up against policies including the federal government’s proposed oil and gas emissions cap and clean electricity regulations, expected to be unveiled within weeks.

“Hopefully the prime minister and his caucus are watching tonight,” Smith said. “As premier I cannot under any circumstances allow these contemplated federal policies to be inflicted upon Albertans.”

Smith said Trudeau’s Liberal climate policies will destroy tens of thousands of jobs in the oil and gas sector, which contributes more than 20% to Alberta’s annual Gross Domestic Product.

France: Carpenters Employ Traditional Medieval Techniques as Notre Dame Roof Rebuild Progresses

SAINT-LAURENT-DE-LA-PLAINE, France (AP) — If time travel was possible, medieval carpenters would surely be amazed to see how woodworking techniques they pioneered in building Notre Dame Cathedral more than 800 years ago are being used again today to rebuild the world-famous monument’s fire-ravaged roof.

Certainly the reverse is true for the modern-day carpenters using medieval-era skills. Working with hand axes to fashion hundreds of tons of oak beams for the framework of Notre Dame’s new roof has, for them, been like rewinding time. It’s given them a new appreciation of their predecessors’ handiwork that pushed the architectural envelope back in the 13th century.

Irish Government Proposes Mass Culling of Cows to Meet Radical Net Zero Climate Targets

The Irish government would need to set aside a €600 million budget in order to cull 65,000 cows every year for three years in order to meet its climate targets, according to internal reports seen by the Irish Independent.

The newspaper reported that 10 percent of all livestock in Ireland would need to be “displaced” in the coming years in order to comply with the government’s ambitious plans of achieving net zero carbon emissions by no later than 2050 and reducing emissions by 51 percent by 2030.

A mass culling of 200,000 cows over three years could be one way to help the Irish agricultural sector “close the gap” on its emissions targets, according to the briefing paper by the Department of Agriculture.

Mass Drone Surveillance Extended in Sweden to Tackle Stockholm’s Gang Warfare

Stockholm police announced on Tuesday it is extending its mass surveillance program with the use of drones approved in several new locations across Stockholm County.

The plan was first proposed to help tackle the country’s rising gang crime, as rival criminals continue to spill blood on the streets of the Swedish capital in unrelenting turf wars.

More than 60 locations have been closely monitored through the use of drones since the start of the year, a scheme brought in after a record number of gang-related homicides in 2022, which have been tied to the country’s rising immigrant population.

Netherlands: Likely Senate Results: BBB the Largest Party; Left-Wing Can Give Coalition Majority

As expected, the grassroots farmers’ political party, BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB), will become the largest party in the Eerste Kamer, the upper house of Dutch parliament. The party will almost certainly get 16 seats in total, one seat less than what was predicted.

GroenLinks and PvdA, which will form one left-wing party in the Eerste Kamer, will together take 14 seats. This on its own would be enough to help the coalition gain a majority to pass legislation. The coalition parties of the VVD, D66, CDA and ChristenUnie together will hold 24 of the 75 seats in the Eerste Kamer. That is two seats more than in the initial forecast.

Poland: Top US Diplomat in Warsaw Slammed for Public Criticism of New Law to Combat Russian Influence

President Andrzej Duda on Monday approved legislation to establish a special commission tasked with examining the extent of Russian influence over previous Polish governments.

He said such a commission is the transparent way to deal with the issue and, in a gesture towards critics of the legislation, promised that he would refer the legislation for examination by the Constitutional Tribunal. This means the commission can be set up without waiting for the constitutional court.

U.S. Ambassador to Poland Mark Brzezinski appeared on commercial broadcaster TVN24, a channel sympathetic to the liberal opposition, which has criticized the measure calling it unconstitutional.

Romania Blows Its Top at Hungarian President for Incendiary Remarks During Pilgrimage to Transylvania

Hungarian President Katalin Novak sparked outrage within the Romanian foreign ministry on Sunday after what the department deemed to be “unacceptable remarks” after she praised Hungarian national unity during a private trip to Transylvania.

“‘A mother is happy when her family is together,’ said today’s sermon. Likewise, as a head of state, I am always pleased to feel this national unity when the nation is together, as we felt today during the farewell. May God bless the Hungarian people!”

This and other posts were not well received by the Romanian government, and late on Sunday the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that it was “fully opposed” to Novak’s remarks.

Drones Strike Moscow in First Attack on Russian Capital’s Residential Areas Since Ukraine War Began

The strikes caused damage to some buildings and forced residents to evacuate homes, local officials said Tuesday, as Kyiv was hit by the latest deadly Russian bombardment.

Moscow was hit by drones Tuesday morning, in what appeared to be the first attack on residential areas of the Russian capital since the invasion of Ukraine.

It comes weeks after an alleged drone attack on the Kremlin itself and following days of deadly Russian bombardment against civilians in Kyiv, as events far from the front lines take the spotlight ahead of Ukraine’s planned counteroffensive.

Tuesday’s incident caused damage to some buildings in Moscow and forced residents to evacuate homes, officials said, though the Kremlin largely shrugged off the dramatic display that its war was increasingly coming home.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said the attack sought to intimidate the public, and commended the work of the capital’s air defense.

The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement Tuesday that eight unmanned aerial vehicles were involved in the strikes. All drones were destroyed, it added, with three losing control after being jammed and the other five shot down by anti-aircraft systems.

Hungary Shows Families Are the Solution to Europe’s Demographic Crisis, Not Immigrants

According to Euronews, Finland’s population is deteriorating dramatically, with the most pessimistic forecast predicting that by 2060 there could be no more Finnish babies born. The total fertility rate for Finnish women is currently only 1.32, compared to the European average of 1.53, another negative figure when it comes to ensuring the natural reproduction of the continent’s population. For this to happen, every woman would have to give birth to at least two children in her lifetime.

It has also been reported that in Berlin in 2022, Mohamed topped the list of the most common names for newborns, and it is also becoming increasingly popular in Hesse and Bremen, according to a survey by the German Linguistics Society. The proliferation of Muslim names is one factor in the trend towards a majority of young children in most large German cities — and already 38 percent in the school system — coming from a migrant background.

Migrant Naturalisation Hits 20-Year-High in Open Borders Germany

BERLIN (AP) — Germany saw a 28 per cent increase in the number of people gaining its citizenship last year, with people from Syria accounting for more than a quarter of those who were naturalized, official data showed Tuesday.

Of those, 48,300 — or 29 per cent — were Syrian citizens. That was more than double the previous year’s figure and seven times as high as in 2020, as increasing numbers of people who migrated to Germany between 2014 and 2016 fulfill the requirements for citizenship.

Mass migration to Britain is the result of “corporate-government greed” by the Conservative Party, which has betrayed the will of the people by bending the knee to business interests, the chairman of the Bow Group has said.

    LONG LIVE LORETTA!

John Cleese refuses to delete ‘controversial’ scene

Published May 31, 2023 in Free Times

Monty Python’s classic comedy film “Life of Brian” from 1979 is to become a stage play. But John Cleese refuses to agree to delete a scene involving a man pretending to be a woman.

    https://youtu.be/chnlQQCsTVw

In the classic scene, which today is considered by some to be “transphobic”, a male character declares that he wants to be a woman named “Loretta” and give birth to children.

John Cleese’s character tells the man that the whole idea is ridiculous, while another suggests that they all favor the man’s right to childbearing.

    – Don’t oppress me! exclaims the man who wants to be “Loretta.”

The scene depicts a discussion in a group that calls itself “People’s Front of Judea” and parodies the extreme left-wing sects of the 70s.

Earlier it was reported in the media that Cleese had agreed to remove the scene from the upcoming theater production, but he now denies this.

On Twitter, he writes that he has been “strongly advised” to do this, but that he “obviously” has no plans to remove the Loretta scene.

      my membrum virile, see!

  3. — About Amanda Hicks, that murdered Florida teacher… Something’s fishy about the news coverage.
    — I’ve heard of police delaying the release of names before, but I’ve never heard of the police saying they have “no plans” to release the name of the murderer. What is going on? Are the facts inconvenient to the Lefts’ preferred narratives?
    — Even worse, there’s the misleading picture of Hicks and a smiling white male that accompanies most of the articles. You have to read closely to see that the male pictured is not the murderous fiance, but is instead Hicks’s brother who is completely unassociated with the case. There are plenty of pix of Hicks alone on the internet. Why did the press choose the misleading pic of her with her brother?
    — Hicks was a “reading teacher” at a Port St Lucie middle school. Are our schools so bad now that middle schoolers can’t read? Or did she perhaps teach ESL reading to migrants?
    — A once-close friend of Hicks’s has gone on record saying that Hicks had suddenly scrubbed all her social media accounts and stopped communicating. The once-close friend had no idea Hicks had a fiance or a baby.
    — When you google images for Amanda Hicks, you get one of a girl who looks like Hicks holding a baby next to a rather Pakistani-looking guy. (Gay nightclub mass shooter Omar Mateen was from Port St Lucie, Fla. And some of the mosques in the area are radical.)
    — On the other hand, the name Amanda Hicks is also associated online with a weight loss company. And she looks awfully thin in her photos, especially since she just had a baby. Maybe the “total lifestyle” weight loss program was some kind of controlling cult?

Vaccine stories you never got to hear

An enlightening and poignant documentary that premiered on May 19. It can be viewed in full on Epoch.tv.

I regret that the full movie has been gone for a few days and was replaced by a trailer. You will have to do some searching on the uncensored video channels if it disappeare.

The doctors, nurses and many vaccine victims include Dr. Peter McCullough, Dr. Robert Malone, Dr. Paul Marik, Dr. Pierre Kory, Senator Ron Johnson and Steve Kirsh.

I have been researching this for over two years now and after the initial doubts, I have become increasingly convinced that what I have conveyed is the pure truth and reality.

Of course, there are elements of the whole pandemic story, which is a purely political story, that are so incredible that I have had to keep a critical eye for a long time before surrendering.

For example, the depopulation that Dr. Vernon Coleman talks to Rainer Fuelmich about here. Coleman has no doubt that “they want to kill us” and that this is also why the US/NATO is about to send us into a nuclear war by escalating Ukraine.
All this contributes to the eugenicists’ desire for LEBENSRAUM, if only millions could be spread in mushroom clouds over Paris, London and Berlin.

More and more people are leaning in the same direction and I find it increasingly difficult to reject it, and at the next “pandemic” this fall, we will see if the labs have cooked up something more dangerous than SARS Cov-2. Isn’t it nice to know when pandemics are coming? We haven’t really had one in 105 years.

And the Danish Frederiksen government has itself been implicated in the whole crime – read Asger Aamund today, about Frederiksen and the senile man in the White House.

It could not be in a Danish newspaper today, which says everything about them and the interest they can generate if you want to understand their time.

    Irresponsible citizens
I am therefore quite callous to what the people who, because the MSM has grossly neglected its duty with this topic, call me.

I am not here to save them. If the overwhelming evidence that now exists for their truth value cannot convince them, there is nothing I can do. They can even do whatever they want with their lives, even if it unfortunately costs Danish society and the entire Western world unimaginable billions.

It must be said, however, that I consider them to be irresponsible members of society. And that’s that. They have to take what comes. I am not looking for debating with them, other than what I write here. It is a waste of precious time.

If someone tells you to get vaccinated to protect others, then I know they are misinformed by the MSM. They don’t know that 95% of those who are hospitalized or get covid are vaccinated because the vaccines gradually destroy the immune system, so they get covid much more often than the unvaccinated.

So it is the rest of us who need to be protected against them for several reasons.

For example, they give transfusion blood that smits the vaccine further, or they “shed their skin”, i.e. transmit the dangerous spike proteins through touch, sexual intercourse, kissing or airborne.

They also do not realize that the WHO has been grossly lying throughout the “pandemic” and that the vaccine does not work at all or prevent further transmission. Also thanks to the chronically lying media, it will take many, many years for the truth to win over the lies.

The most surprising part of the movie is at minutes 60:00, when young vaccine injured Brianne Dressen says that in her many inquiries to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, part of the Department of Health and Human Services, she is told that they are well aware of the many neurological, serious side effects and that they can also help her with a cure for them. She just must not tell the press. She seems to be cured, although hundreds of thousands of others will not experience the same privilege.

It will take many, many years for the truth to overcome the lies that our authorities have shrouded us in. So much prestige and money have been invested in it: every yard of it must laborously be fought back.

The retreat of these authorities will also be a difficult task. It must be done without becoming the suicide for them that it should be.

Here the alternative press, especially in the United States, carries the big load by mediating all the professions excluded from the state-controlled media, but one day they will win, whatever “win” means at that point.
Independent media has exploded in the US, the need for it drives that development, and it will still be there if free speech is further manipulated on the internet. They become distributed printed matter, as Lars Hedegaard writes.

It is an excellent movie. The fact that Danish TV doesn’t show anything like this tells me everything I need to know about Danish TV and reminds me why I haven’t had a TV for 22 years.
    The movie’s website is unseencrisis.com.

  5. Re: “In other news, NATO has dispatched an additional 700 troops to reinforce its garrison in Kosovo after a series of violent attacks by ethnic Serbs enraged over the installation of ethnic Albanian mayors in majority Serb towns.”

Who made that genius-level decision (sarcasm/off)?? Albania is the only majority-Islamic nation of Europe so it is a fair bet that those “mayors” are practicing Muslims. Serbia is – on the other hand – a predominantly Christian nation. Is it any surprise whatsoever that the resultant turmoil and chaos happened? As an observer might ask dryly, “Who could have seen that coming!?”

    • The fun is just about to begin in Kosovo, the Serbs have very long memories and never forgive. The Eastern Orthodox Church is screaming bloody murder that the muslims are desecrating monasteries, churches and graveyards(which is true) and the people are fed up with NATO siding with the muslims over them, then our course one has to ask why us Russia sending arms by the boatload to Serbia and the Serbian government doesn’t know a bloody thing about it?
